  So I am asked probably on a semi regular basis.

  Well, I'm asked why. I'm asked either about my
• 0:28
  beliefs, my my Christian faith, my belief in the Bible, or I'm
• 0:33
  asked why I'll believe it. I'm I'm asked to prove, to prove
• 0:42
  why? Why I would believe why the
• 0:44
  Bible is true. And you know I've been thinking
• 0:48
  more and more about what answers are trying to give because
• 0:54
  sometimes I feel like I get a bit long winded because you're
• 0:56
  trying to explain things to people and you know you don't
• 1:00
  want to miss miss anything out. But it's it's a big topic and I
• 1:05
  I don't want. I want to if someone asks you
• 1:08
  the question and and ask you to try and explain your faith and
• 1:12
  why you'd believe something. Why why these.
• 1:14
  I follow the Bible the teachings in the Bible.
• 1:17
  Why it is I believe that the God that God described in the Bible
• 1:23
  is the one who created the heavens and the earth.
• 1:28
  I mean part of it is I find it so fanciful that people would
• 1:33
  believe in evolution. It seems like such a far fetched
• 1:38
  theory. It it, it takes more faith, I
• 1:40
  think, to believe in to believe in evolution.
• 1:43
  It seems so blatantly obvious to me that someone had to put the
• 1:50
  universe together. But yeah, I I try and answer
• 1:54
  these questions and I just and and lately I've been thinking
• 2:00
  more and more about something, trying to answer it in a more
• 2:04
  succinct manner. And I I know, I look at I know
• 2:09
  what really really convinced me beyond a shadow of doubt that
• 2:16
  this God who is described in the Bible is the God is the one and
• 2:22
  only God is because of Bible prophecy.
• 2:25
  Now the Bible predicts has predicted the future.
• 2:31
  I think one I think I've read, I've heard that close to
• 2:36
  somewhere between 25 and 30% of the Bible is actually is
• 2:41
  actually predicting Bible prophecy is actually predicting
• 2:45
  the future. And I've actually heard that
• 2:48
  something like the lines of along the lines of twent.
• 2:52
  There's like 20-5 hundred 2500 Bible prophecies prophecies in
• 2:59
  the Bible and a vast, vast majority of them are all to do
• 3:04
  with with Jesus and all to do with his his first coming and
• 3:09
  then all to do with his second coming And and a vast majority
• 3:13
  of them have already come to pass.
• 3:15
  We can actually look back and say, well these things happen
• 3:17
  and you know, a couple of big things that convinced me.
• 3:20
  And but you know what? We can talk about the fact that
• 3:22
  Jesus, you know, he was predicted that so I would be
• 3:28
  born and the way he would be born, the town that he would be
• 3:31
  born in, you know, the the way how he's who his family would
• 3:37
  be, what his lineage would be. And all those things would be so
• 3:40
  hard to actually manipulate just to try and make it, make it fit
• 3:46
  into Bible prophecy. It's virtually impossible to try
• 3:50
  and manipulate those things. And you know, 2000 years later,
• 3:54
  we're still talking about Jesus over 2000 years later.
• 3:58
  But you think, OK, well, you know, that's not something that
• 4:01
  we can prove because it didn't happen in recent history.
• 4:05
  You know, did Jesus even exist? People ask and then you I, I
• 4:08
  look at the nation of Israel. The Bible predicted said that
• 4:14
  the nation of Israel, the people of Israel would be taken out of
• 4:17
  their land twice. The first time would be for 70
• 4:20
  years. The second time would be for a
• 4:23
  very long period of time. But they would be kept as a
• 4:26
  nation that would be kept separate from the rest of the
• 4:28
  world. Basically they would keep their
• 4:30
  their kind of their culture their religion their heritage
• 4:33
  but they would have no home but they would be brought back into
• 4:37
  their land right in the in the last days.
• 4:42
  So and I would encourage you to look these things up yourself.
• 4:46
  OK and I'll actually, I'll I will drop a link for someone I

  think you should look at Don Stewart has very good
• 4:56
  explanations and you can take you through all the scriptures
• 4:59
  in the in the Bible that explain these things.

  And so I'll look at the the nation of Israel which only came
• 5:06
  into existence in 1948 for the second time.

  Second time. It's the first time it's ever
• 5:14
  ever been done that a people have just wandered the earth.
• 5:17
  They were they classified themselves as Jews that were the
• 5:20
  Jewish nation and you know approximately 2000 years later
• 5:26
  they all came back into their land.
• 5:29
  They were. They were bought back into their
• 5:31
  land. And, yeah, you know, obviously
• 5:34
  people write and argue about these people being true Jews,
• 5:39
  true Israelites, whatever. All right, Quite frankly, I
• 5:43
  don't really care what you say, OK?
• 5:45
  It's it's it's just the fact that we have these people here
• 5:49
  who always classify themselves as Jewish people.
• 5:51
  They followed this religion. They followed this beliefs.
• 5:53
  They have this lineage and now they're back in the land as the
• 5:57
  Bible said there would be in the last days and then yet people
• 6:01
  still argue about it. You said they can.
• 6:03
  You know it's it's if if you can't look at the facts and be
• 6:09
  convinced, well I don't know what to say.
• 6:11
  So there there's these kinds of things and then there's other
• 6:13
  things. You know when when the Bible
• 6:15
  said hey in the last days there will be.
• 6:17
  It tells you what to look out for what, what is coming.
• 6:20
  It talks about how we're going to have this tribulation period,
• 6:24
  how we're going to have like a one world government, how
• 6:27
  politics is going to be. So what do you call it like?
• 6:34
  So what the word, it slipped my mind.
• 6:38
  But it's it's going to be globalized.
• 6:41
  It's all going to be brought in together.
• 6:43
  It's not going to be so. It's not going to be just spread
• 6:45
  all around the world. It's everything's going to come
• 6:48
  together politically and everyone's going to say, well,
• 6:50
  we need a one world government. We need a one world leader.
• 6:54
  Oh, and you know this, this government, this one world
• 6:56
  leaders going to be able to control whether you buy or sell.
• 7:01
  And the Bible said in Revelation 13 this will come to pass.
• 7:05
  We're going to have this time period where you will not be
• 7:08
  able to buy or sell unless you have the mark of the beast.
• 7:11
  Now if you even, I don't know, even 100 years ago it would be
• 7:17
  just mind blowing. You wouldn't even be able to
• 7:20
  work at how someone could control everyone around the
• 7:23
  world to not be able to buy or sell unless you have some kind
• 7:28
  of marking on your body. It's hard to even comprehend how
• 7:32
  you could achieve that. And yet now we can see exactly
• 7:36
  the kinds of things that are in place that you could achieve
• 7:38
  that that you can monitor everyone around the world.
• 7:41
  And we see that the the governments around the world are
• 7:44
  starting to put these things into place where they can, where
• 7:47
  they want to. Everyone wants to get rid of
• 7:49
  cash, they want to get rid of physical cash and put everything
• 7:53
  digitally. Australia is is leading the way
• 7:57
  and being being the Guinea pig for getting rid of cash.
• 8:00
  They're they're trying to go. We've got banks who are going
• 8:03
  completely cash free. You know, even McDonald's in
• 8:09
  Victoria, apparently they're not taking cash anymore, completely
• 8:13
  cash free. But The thing is with cash you
• 8:15
  can, you can control, you can control people a lot more.
• 8:19
  You can monitor people, you can surveil people.
• 8:23
  The ability the best or the greatest, not best as in good
• 8:28
  thing. But one of the the big things
• 8:30
  that people don't really consider when it comes to this
• 8:33
  new cashless society that we're running towards is the ability
• 8:37
  to conduct surveillance upon people, just every little aspect
• 8:43
  of their life. So all these things, these these
• 8:47
  are all these things. So I was thinking, I was trying
• 8:50
  to think, well, what's the best way to be able to answer these
• 8:53
  questions when people ask me and I want to be able to tell people
• 8:55
  and and really convince people that God is true.

  And because not only do people ask me about my faith and why I
• 9:08
  believe and you know why they should believe in God and what
• 9:11
  makes God of the Bible any different people people also.

  I've noticed anyway people also want to talk about the fact that
• 9:20
  all all there's all these wars going on and there's all this
• 9:23
  trouble going on in the land, in the world and everything seems
• 9:28
  to be in just this massive massive turmoil.
• 9:31
  Nothing there is there barely barely seems to be any kind of
• 9:40
  any place of peace. I was saying to some of the guys
• 9:43
  that I work with the other day and you know, that someone
• 9:47
  talks, said something to me about, oh, you know, these wars
• 9:50
  that are going on. I said and this isn't funny how
• 9:55
  here in Australia, you know, where, you know, I just finished
• 9:59
  mowing my lawn. I think it took me nearly two
• 10:02
  days. You know, it's so hot here, You
• 10:05
  know, we're worried about the, we're worried about how much
• 10:08
  money we're making. We're worried about you know is
• 10:11
  the cycling going to come into my area this week You know cost
• 10:16
  of housing cost of living process.
• 10:20
  You know and the the the government seems to be screwing
• 10:23
  the population over by hey you know we've got we haven't got
• 10:26
  enough housing. We've got all these homeless
• 10:27
  people. But hey, let's let's allow more
• 10:29
  people into the country because they don't seem to be able to
• 10:31
  make all these any kind of rational decision anymore.
• 10:35
  Which again is I think it's it's straight along the lines of
• 10:40
  biblical prophecy. This is what you get when you
• 10:43
  have a nation that denies God and denies the existence of God.
• 10:46
  But anyhow, so these people keep talking to me about how there's
• 10:49
  these wars and these everything's going on
• 10:51
  everything. Everyone knows that things are
• 10:53
  escalating. People who aren't Christians
• 10:56
  know that there is something wrong in the world.
• 10:59
  Something is wrong in the world. And I, you know, I was listening
• 11:03
  to, I think it was Mark Hitchcock talking about the
• 11:07
  possibility of World War Three. And one thing when when I think
• 11:13
  I mentioned this actually earlier in the the very start of
• 11:15
  the year, I I don't think 2024 is going to be a great year of
• 11:22
  peace. I I think the Bible seems to say
• 11:25
  that if I'm reading this correctly, that things are just,
• 11:30
  you know, as we're getting heading towards this tribulation
• 11:32
  period, things are just going to get worse and worse.
• 11:35
  Harder and harder eyes will get tougher and tougher.
• 11:39
  And I was listening to Mark Hitchcock and reading some stuff
• 11:42
  about John Don Stewart one of his his books and I was reminded
• 11:50
  yeah, OK of Matthew 24. I reminded Mark Hitchcock was
• 11:53
  talking about it actually. And and it was in Don Stewart's
• 11:57
  book, so reminded because they were talking and writing about
• 12:02
  it. Jesus says, you know, because
• 12:04
  his disciples have asked him that the signs of the times and
• 12:07
  the end of the age. And I've spoken about this
• 12:09
  before, OK And And Jesus said, now he said on the Mount of
• 12:13
  Olives, the disciples came to him privately saying, tell us
• 12:16
  when these things will be and what will be the sign of your
• 12:19
  coming end of the end of the age.
• 12:22
  And Jesus answered and said to them, take you that no one
• 12:25
  deceives you. So I think, OK, well that's
• 12:29
  that's kind of comforting because take heed, no one
• 12:31
  deceives you. So you could be deceived, but
• 12:35
  don't be deceived. He's telling us he's laying it
• 12:37
  all out. Many will come in my name,
• 12:40
  saying I am the Christ and will deceive many.
• 12:44
  But be careful no one that no one does deceive you.
• 12:47
  And he goes on and says, and you will hear of wars and rooms of
• 12:50
  wars, see that you are not troubled.
• 12:54
  For all these things must come to pass.
• 12:56
  But the end is not yet a nation will rise against nation and
• 12:59
  Kingdom against Kingdom and there will be famines,
• 13:02
  pestilences and earthquakes in various places.
• 13:05
  All these things are the beginning of sorrows.
• 13:11
  And look I'm going to bring up a couple of headlines headlines
• 13:17
  for us to look at and just you know when when God's saying I'm
• 13:24
  bringing up so you can see all this when Jesus saying you will
• 13:29
  hear of wars and rumors of wars. Let's check out check out some
• 13:34
  of the headlines that are getting around at the moment.

  You've got the Global Conflict tracker this headline here where
• 13:42
  what a headline Putin ally says World War three will definitely
• 13:46
  begin soon in the Middle East. It was a couple of days ago.
• 13:52
  The sun in the UK. World at war World War Three has
• 13:56
  already begun For West's enemies.
• 13:58
  From Russia to North Korea we're all in this now.
• 14:01
  Another headline. Germany's preparing for Russia
• 14:04
  to start World War 3. Leaked war war plans reveal
• 14:08
  there's some other headlines. I couldn't bring them all up.
• 14:10
  But Pakistan, Pakistan and Iran, which are two Muslim countries,
• 14:17
  This is the thing that I don't really understand.
• 14:19
  But two Islamic countries, they they're nipping each other now,
• 14:24
  making threats for war. China, China making threats
• 14:32
  about Taiwan, then I'm happy about their latest election.
• 14:37
  China and the Philippines are niggling at each other as well
• 14:41
  as we're reading another article where Japan is niggling at
• 14:44
  Russia because Russia has some islands which Japan considers
• 14:49
  are theirs in their in their territory.
• 14:53
  So Japan are niggling at Russia at the moment.
• 14:57
  You know the Houthis are firing all these missiles, the US, the
• 15:01
  UK and Australia, we've always got to be in on it.
• 15:05
  And you know, they're out there fighting back against or
• 15:09
  attacking, helping, you know, helping against the Houthis.
• 15:17
  Obviously, we've all also got people over there helping with
• 15:20
  Ukraine is still going on. Ukraine, Russia war, I think I
• 15:25
  said ages ago, I think, I actually think we're all
• 15:28
  actually already in World War 3. We're just using our proxies.
• 15:35
  But getting back to what you know my my thoughts on how to
• 15:40
  answer, when people say why do you believe the Bible?
• 15:44
  People ask why do you believe in the God of the Bible?
• 15:46
  Why don't you believe in evolution?
• 15:48
  There's too many, too many things.
• 15:51
  And when I say too many, actually everything that the
• 15:53
  Bible has predicted so far, it's not been wrong in any of these
• 15:59
  things. And like I, like I said, I still
• 16:03
  don't understand how people can look at just just that this one
• 16:10
  thing of the nation of Israel being brought back into this
• 16:15
  land, these people that wandered around the Bible said that they
• 16:18
  would be scattered to the far ends, the four corners of the
• 16:21
  earth, and that they would be brought back in the last days.
• 16:25
  How, you know, for a group of people to keep their culture,
• 16:30
  keep their language, keep their identity as being Jews and
• 16:34
  wonder the earth for approximately 2000 years, 2000
• 16:39
  years, they were kind of this separate group.
• 16:42
  And yet they were bought back into the very land they were
• 16:44
  kicked out of 2000 years, like 2000 years ago.
• 16:49
  And the Bible said that that would happen.
• 16:53
  And it still blows me away that people don't look at that and
• 16:56
  go, well, that's, you know, that can't just be coincidence when
• 17:00
  when Jesus is sitting there going, hey, when it comes
• 17:03
  towards the end, you're gonna be hearing wars and rumors of wars.
• 17:06
  And yet there's always been wars.
• 17:08
  But my, we are hearing the rumors of wars and we're hearing
• 17:12
  of wars more than you've ever heard before.
• 17:17
  I'd heard statistics that something like there's 35
• 17:20
  conflicts just in just in Africa at the moment.
• 17:25
  Wars and rumors of wars later on.
• 17:27
  Jesus also said because lawlessness will abound, the
• 17:35
  love of many will grow cold. He's this is in the same section
• 17:38
  because lawlessness abounds. I was looking at what happened
• 17:41
  in Papua New Guinea just a couple of weeks ago.
• 17:44
  You know, there was a little glitch.
• 17:46
  There was something went wrong with how the police were getting
• 17:50
  paid. So the police go and have a bit
• 17:54
  of a hissy fit so well. We're not working for them,
• 17:56
  always standing down. Absolute mayhem.
• 18:00
  Mayhem erupts in the capital in in New Guinea, and there's
• 18:05
  rioting, looting, people dying, lawlessness just abounding.
• 18:10
  The last couple of years we've seen lawlessness abound, more
• 18:14
  than any time I can ever remember sweeping across from
• 18:18
  nation to nation. Even here in Australia, people,
• 18:21
  we've got, you know, the war in the Middle East, within on the
• 18:25
  Gaza Strip. And we have people protesting,
• 18:30
  not just protesting, but on the verge of rioting because of
• 18:35
  because they they're not happy with what's going on over in the
• 18:37
  Middle East. People not respecting law.
• 18:43
  When you, when you read through all these things, Jesus said all
• 18:46
  these things would happen. Wars and rumors of wars because
• 18:51
  lawlessness will abandoned. The love of many will grow cold.
• 18:54
  And I'll look at that and think, yeah, the love of many, we just,
• 18:58
  we don't have people talk about love and you when when you
• 19:04
  listen to how they refer to love, it's it always seems to be
• 19:08
  about lust. It's not really about love and
• 19:11
  loving one another and supporting one another.
• 19:13
  It is hard hard to find genuine love in people anymore.
• 19:22
  So when when I have people asking me why I believe, why I
• 19:28
  believe in the God of the Bible, why I believe the Bible is true,
• 19:32
  it's it all comes back to Bible prophecy.
• 19:37
  The Bible, God in the Bible made predictions, he said.
• 19:42
  And predictions doesn't seem like the right word to me
• 19:44
  because God doesn't predict something.
• 19:46
  God just tells you this is going to happen.
• 19:48
  It's not at all. Maybe this will happen.
• 19:49
  I predict this will happen. When I say I predict something
• 19:52
  will happen, it's, you know, I reckon it'll happen because it's
• 19:56
  kind of a best guess. But when God saying something
• 19:59
  will happen, it'll happen with utmost certainty.

  So that's why when Jesus said there'll be wars and rumors of
• 20:07
  wars, and not just and, you know, nation rising against
• 20:10
  nation, Kingdom against Kingdom, people groups rising up against
• 20:15
  other people groups, lawlessness abounding.
• 20:19
  It seems to me that that is describing the exact time frame
• 20:22
  that we're in right now, and it's just getting worse.
• 20:27
  When the Bible describes how we're gonna have this one world
• 20:30
  government, we're gonna have this monetary system where
• 20:33
  someone will be able to monitor you and you will not be able to
• 20:37
  buy or sell unless you bow to that person's will and you can
• 20:42
  all see that happening, It seems blatantly obvious to me that the
• 20:48
  Bible must be true. So when I read the Bible and in
• 20:55
  John 316 says, For God so loved the world that he gave his only
• 20:58
  begotten Son, that whosoever believes in in him shall not
• 21:03
  perish, but have everlasting life.
• 21:07
  If all those other things are true, well then that must be
• 21:10
  true as well. That must be true.
• 21:14
  So that that this Jesus that we're talking about, who lived
• 21:18
  2000 years ago, it must be true everything else.
• 21:22
  You can't have all these things being true.
• 21:24
  But yet this one thing is not true.
• 21:26
  God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son.
• 21:29
  That whosoever believes in me shall not perish but have
• 21:33
  everlasting life. I would encourage you.

  These things don't just happen by at a chance.

  If you want to leave things up to chance, we'll go and keep

  believing in the absolutely ludicrous theory of evolution.

  You know, the craziest, absolute, craziest thing I've
• 22:16
  ever heard of. But if you, if you, if you want

  to know the truth and you want to look at something and and
• 22:29
  consider something thoughtfully and honestly and and ask the
• 22:35
  question, well, how did the Earth get it get into position
• 22:40
  in the exact position that it needed to be between the sun and
• 22:43
  the moon? How did that happen?
• 22:45
  How's it that we the atmosphere of the Earth is the exact, the
• 22:53
  exact mix that we need to be able to live, to be able to
• 22:57
  breathe, to be able to survive, for plants to live, for plants
• 23:00
  to grow, for animals to live. This can't have just grown out
• 23:05
  of nothing, which is what the theory of evolution tries to
• 23:10
  tell you. It's like this stupidest lie.
• 23:12
  I I don't anyway. But when God in the Bible says,
• 23:19
  hey, these things are going to happen, and we see that these
• 23:23
  things have happened and we can see, Oh yeah, these things,
• 23:27
  look, these things that the Bible says are going to happen,
• 23:30
  they haven't happened yet, but we can see they're very, very
• 23:34
  likely to happen in the very near future.

  You've got to look into it yourself a little more seriously
• 23:42
  and don't just take some other people's word.
• 23:45
  Look into it yourself and work it out yourself.
• 23:53
  Anyway, these things are going to happen.

  I look at all these headlines and it says, you know, all these
• 24:01
  wars that are happening. And I think it's kind of strange
• 24:04
  that Australia, we're just sitting here at the moment.

  Like I said, I'm sitting here kind of waiting for the
• 24:09
  possibility of a cyclone to come and, you know, thinking about
• 24:14
  other things in life. Me, how hard it is to mow my
• 24:17
  lawn and this kind of thing. But the world is virtually on
• 24:21
  the brink of a World War. But I do take part in the fact
• 24:29
  that Jesus said you will hear of wars and rumors of wars, see
• 24:33
  that you are not troubled. For all these things must come
• 24:36
  to pass. But the end is not yet these
• 24:38
  things are going to happen. These things are going to get
• 24:41
  harder for Christians, but I would encourage you to look
• 24:46
  these things up for yourself because the last thing you want
• 24:49
  to do is be getting towards the end of your life and sitting
• 24:52
  there and going what is life all about.

  I wonder if God is real, but all your life you've been betting on
• 25:00
  evolution or some crazy trumped up idea like that.
