Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:21
May 7th, 2026. And, well, that that didn't go
• 0:28
anything like the other night at all.
• 0:31
That Spurs got out front early and pretty much kept the
• 0:36
proverbial pedal to the metal and just put their foot on their
• 0:41
throats and just kept him down, beat him down and smacked him
• 0:47
down. And won by a great quantity.
• 0:51
So, but 9 1/2 points didn't matter at all last night.
• 0:54
So we take the L, we try to gather ourselves and we look
• 0:58
again tonight. So I'm looking at this Oklahoma
• 1:02
City Lakers matchup and I was coming into this one thinking,
• 1:06
OK, Lakers kept it close. Then they didn't, you know,
• 1:10
thinking we're hoping to get that backdoor cover, which
• 1:13
almost happened, but then it didn't.
• 1:15
And then thinking, well, maybe this would be the night, but
• 1:18
then I think or not think, I see what happened last night.
• 1:22
And now I'm thinking, well, it's OK, see, just going to go out
• 1:26
there and blow the doors off of them.
• 1:28
And that's just the way it's going to be.
• 1:30
And there ain't going to be even a chance at a back door cover
• 1:33
because they're going to be muy far away from a backdoor cover.
• 1:38
So it doesn't matter. And I think that's more of where
• 1:41
we're at. I think OKC is going to just
• 1:44
blow him out tonight. Le Bron's going to be well, he's
• 1:47
just going to have to deal with that.
• 1:49
And they're going to go down to oh at home.
• 1:52
And that's where he's going to try to make a stand.
• 1:54
But tonight, it's just going to be a blowout.
• 1:56
So we're going to go with OKC. So we're going Oklahoma City
• 2:00
Thunder -15 1/2 against the LA Lakers and tonight's NBA Western
• 2:06
Conference second round playoff basketball action.
• 2:12
Is there anything better than that?
• 2:13
Pound it. That's my pick and I'm sticking
• 2:15
  to it. Let's go.
