Costco is poised to build a massive 166,000-square-foot warehouse in Tumwater with over a thousand parking spots, gas station, and car wash—plans filed back in July. Meanwhile, Swire Coca-Cola has canceled its lease for a 95-acre bottling plant near the airport, officially killing that project. Tumwater is moving ahead with an $18 million, 3-million-gallon water reservoir set for summer 2027 construction.
