- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome to We Talk Back podcast, the production of iHeart
- 0:04Speaker 1: Radio and the Black Effect Network Talk Talk Talk.
- 0:09Speaker 2: We're just two unapologetically black women with an opinion who
- 0:13Speaker 2: talks back.
- 0:16Speaker 1: What's up y'all? Thank you for tuning in for a
- 0:19Speaker 1: new episode that We Talk Back, the show dedicated to
- 0:21Speaker 1: your dreamers and chases niggas and hosts what's up, Tam Bam.
- 0:26Speaker 1: It's your co host aj Holiday.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Hey, y'all, I love y'all.
- 0:35Speaker 1: That's what y'all. Niggas need, y'all. Mom, they love you.
- 0:38Speaker 1: She love Y'allam.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I'm so happy when people who listen on the show
- 0:45Speaker 2: d m me and be like, hey, Tam Bam, I
- 0:46Speaker 2: just want to tell you I love you, to thank you.
- 0:50Speaker 1: But the minute you do is say some ship they
- 0:52Speaker 1: don't like. Let's see y'all quick. They hate you, y'all
- 0:56Speaker 1: hating me day one? Fuck it that way, you can't
- 1:01Speaker 1: see I changed. Always been an abusive relationship.
- 1:06Speaker 2: How was your weekend? It was cool?
- 1:08Speaker 1: I do much and nothing. Rode my bike this week weekend.
- 1:11Speaker 1: I did eat a lot on Saturday, so I felt
- 1:14Speaker 1: really guilty on Sunday. Just a whole bunch of shit,
- 1:19Speaker 1: Like I just kept frying stuff like plantons and oyster
- 1:24Speaker 1: mushrooms and fry shrimp. I just was cooking everything I
- 1:27Speaker 1: had in the damn refrigerator as far as I'm the
- 1:30Speaker 1: service and now here it is today, and I'm like, man,
- 1:33Speaker 1: that shit over with, all that fat shit over with y'all.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Yeah for me too. I started a detox yesterday.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Like I juiced yesterday.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Yeah. It's just such an uphill battle, you know, it
- 1:47Speaker 2: really is.
- 1:47Speaker 1: So I thought that the juice I was buying from
- 1:49Speaker 1: Whole Foods was expensive because it was eleven ninety nine,
- 1:52Speaker 1: but so I bought all excuse, it's really not, though,
- 1:56Speaker 1: because I bought so this juice has mango, grapes, apples, ginger,
- 2:02Speaker 1: and pineapple in it. So I bought all those individual fruits,
- 2:06Speaker 1: spent twenty five dollars on them, and I saved the
- 2:10Speaker 1: bottle from Whole Foods for my last juice that I
- 2:12Speaker 1: bought from them. One side juiced maybe like thirty grapes,
- 2:16Speaker 1: the whole pineapple, six apples, some ginger, and a mango.
- 2:22Speaker 1: It equal that bottle plus maybe this little bit I
- 2:26Speaker 1: got in a jar. So really it costs more for
- 2:30Speaker 1: me to juice myself. I probably get more juice though,
- 2:33Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, because I'm pretty sure they
- 2:34Speaker 1: got some purified water some bullshit in theirs. But man,
- 2:39Speaker 1: it's expensive to eat healthy.
- 2:41Speaker 2: It's so expensive to eat healthy.
- 2:43Speaker 1: And time consuming to juice.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I said, I want to start juicing. But I
- 2:49Speaker 2: love juicing. We'll see. I want like juice watermelons, that's
- 2:52Speaker 2: what I want.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I love It's hard to find a good watermelon, man,
- 2:56Speaker 1: And I'll go to the flea market on the weekends.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Like I had got too sour ass watermelons one weekend
- 3:02Speaker 1: and I had a flea market, yes, because they had
- 3:04Speaker 1: the seated one usually looking Mexicans be having an old
- 3:08Speaker 1: ass fruit. Man. Oh that's should be moldy as fuck
- 3:12Speaker 1: out there. I was like, okay, now.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Y'all showing up. Yes, come on, man, what did I
- 3:18Speaker 2: do this weekend? Oh? Nothing? I only got one foot,
- 3:22Speaker 2: so I can't do ship.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Get on your good foot, bitch.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I started watching the show with Nisi Nash. It's called
- 3:30Speaker 2: grotesquea y It's it's like a who Done It? A
- 3:35Speaker 2: thriller with like a sadistic serial killer.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Is sheer killer?
- 3:42Speaker 2: No, she's the detective? Okay, Yeah, so I support Nisi
- 3:49Speaker 2: nash Uh. There's another actress in the show. She was
- 3:53Speaker 2: on Being Mary Jane. She played the nise on Being
- 3:55Speaker 2: Mary Jane that kept getting pregnant. I can't. I don't
- 3:58Speaker 2: know her name. I'm sorry. She's too and they have
- 4:01Speaker 2: her playing like this character who is you know, obese,
- 4:05Speaker 2: and she has like a food addiction, so it's interesting
- 4:10Speaker 2: to see. And she has picked up a considerable amount
- 4:13Speaker 2: of weight. I don't know if they use AI to
- 4:15Speaker 2: make her look bigger or she got bigger for the show,
- 4:19Speaker 2: but ooh, that's part of the series. And I don't know,
- 4:23Speaker 2: like which I.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Can find a job for gaining weight? Sh no, because.
- 4:29Speaker 2: It's not healthy.
- 4:30Speaker 1: It is, but like, just say you did gain weight,
- 4:33Speaker 1: she could still work, like she was able to find
- 4:35Speaker 1: a job right gaining weight.
- 4:38Speaker 2: So y'all watch the tescary if you like, like the
- 4:41Speaker 2: who Done It? Yeah, so it's kind of scary, though
- 4:45Speaker 2: I ain't gonna hold you.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Do you watch true crime stuff?
- 4:49Speaker 2: I watch it here when I'm at my mom's because
- 4:54Speaker 2: they watch it.
- 4:55Speaker 1: You know.
- 4:55Speaker 2: My sister works in that industry, so she's very entertained
- 5:00Speaker 2: by this shit. But I think it's weird. To be watching.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Yes, I just I remember there was a point in
- 5:05Speaker 1: my life, like in my twenties, like I would be
- 5:07Speaker 1: watching that shit. First of all, I haven't had cable
- 5:09Speaker 1: for real since two thousand and five, so that's probably
- 5:11Speaker 1: when it ended. But it's just weird that true crime
- 5:17Speaker 1: is like a genre in America, like for entertainment. Like,
- 5:21Speaker 1: it's weird to me. And it's a lot of women
- 5:22Speaker 1: that watch that.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Shit and go to sleep watching it.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Yes, all of that is like in your psyche and
- 5:27Speaker 1: your subconscious mind programming while you sleeping, you wake up
- 5:32Speaker 1: to a bitch screaming or deep voices talking like that.
- 5:35Speaker 1: That's weird to me, Like that's.
- 5:36Speaker 2: A I used to watch First forty eight back when
- 5:39Speaker 2: it was new. Yeah, I mean, I guess that's a
- 5:41Speaker 2: true crime show. But no, that doesn't. I never like
- 5:46Speaker 2: turn that on my mother. Wait, she makes me want
- 5:50Speaker 2: to throw her TV out the window. I swear every day,
- 5:53Speaker 2: turn on Steve Harvey that fucking Family Few. She loves
- 5:59Speaker 2: some fucking Family Few. Girl.
- 6:01Speaker 1: My mom would be watching them in those Korean movies
- 6:04Speaker 1: all day long for the last two years. I'm like,
- 6:08Speaker 1: did don't you find it? I don't know it's like
- 6:10Speaker 1: they've taken over her mind. And you know, those series
- 6:13Speaker 1: be like twenty five thirty episodes. She will watch them,
- 6:17Speaker 1: and then because it's not in English, right, she don't
- 6:20Speaker 1: like like they let the English come over, so she'll
- 6:24Speaker 1: watch it in the original language and the captions. But
- 6:27Speaker 1: she can't read fast, so she's literally positive all day long.
- 6:31Speaker 1: So it take her like a week to watch some
- 6:34Speaker 1: shit like like you positive and rewinding it to see
- 6:37Speaker 1: what they said.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Like what, I'm not a big fan of movies where
- 6:43Speaker 2: there's no English and I have to watch the subtitles,
- 6:46Speaker 2: and I especially don't like a show where it's a
- 6:49Speaker 2: different language and then they put the English speaking person
- 6:52Speaker 2: over it. In the mouth is even different than the words.
- 6:55Speaker 2: I'll turn it off, Y'll hang it up.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I don't want to watch shame. Well, let's get into
- 7:02Speaker 1: stupid internet news, y'all. We're gonna start with Man, I
- 7:06Speaker 1: love Whitney Houston so so much. She's my all time
- 7:10Speaker 1: favorite any talent show that I would because I used
- 7:14Speaker 1: to sing really well, okay and tell my sister cursed me,
- 7:17Speaker 1: but I used to always the former fucking Whitney Houston song.
- 7:20Speaker 1: But Sissy passed away yesterday, her mom at ninety one
- 7:25Speaker 1: years old.
- 7:25Speaker 2: She was a long life.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Man. I don't feel sad. People be like, man, we
- 7:30Speaker 1: lost another one. Like, I don't feel like it's a loss.
- 7:32Speaker 1: When someone lives a full life like that. You know,
- 7:35Speaker 1: I'm probably gonna get the fuck up out of here,
- 7:37Speaker 1: like ninety five, between ninety five and one hundred and five,
- 7:42Speaker 1: So I'm gonna live a long, full life too. So
- 7:44Speaker 1: I'm always excited when people live like good, long lives,
- 7:49Speaker 1: like that's a that's not a loss for real.
- 7:53Speaker 2: I just I love the fact that the three of
- 7:55Speaker 2: them are back together, Cissy Whitney and the baby. What's
- 8:01Speaker 2: the baby's name? Bobby, Baby Bobby?
- 8:03Speaker 1: Yeah, you know her husband up there with him with
- 8:05Speaker 1: them too now thrown no Bobby, the little girls. Oh
- 8:12Speaker 1: yeah yeah, maybe he passed away as well.
- 8:15Speaker 2: But you know what, it's more people gone than it
- 8:17Speaker 2: is here. Just remember that, you know.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Yeah, niggas dying every day. Be listen what weirded me
- 8:24Speaker 1: out last night?
- 8:25Speaker 2: Y'all?
- 8:25Speaker 1: I have what's these niggas podcasts? Hold on, let me
- 8:29Speaker 1: tell you all right quick, because I'm like, yo, people
- 8:32Speaker 1: are we depressed? That's all I could think? You are
- 8:36Speaker 1: these guys podcasts? It says Shadow Bunny Scorpio. I don't
- 8:40Speaker 1: know if that's their podcast. Who the fuck? Oh maybe
- 8:44Speaker 1: some random person posted this. I don't know the guy's podcast.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I've seen them before in line, but they was having
- 8:50Speaker 1: a conversation. The guy was like, what's the what's one
- 8:53Speaker 1: thing you're going to be happy that's over when the
- 8:56Speaker 1: world starts to like end, and one of the whole
- 9:00Speaker 1: says living like they're gonna be glad to get the
- 9:04Speaker 1: fuck up out of here, and people in the comments
- 9:07Speaker 1: like agreeing it was weird to me, and I commented,
- 9:09Speaker 1: I was like, am I the only warrior?
- 9:12Speaker 2: Like?
- 9:13Speaker 1: Am I the only one that's gonna fight to the
- 9:15Speaker 1: end because the bitch like me gonna always live to
- 9:16Speaker 1: tell the story.
- 9:18Speaker 2: So I'm like going here easy.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Yeah, Like it's like it's almost like you might as
- 9:23Speaker 1: well die today, you know what I'm saying, because I'm
- 9:26Speaker 1: going out guns ablazing whatever's going on?
- 9:29Speaker 2: Yeah, me too. I don't know what that ideology is,
- 9:32Speaker 2: but maybe people are depressed and they're not happy here,
- 9:36Speaker 2: you know.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Yeah, And that's that, And that's what I kind of
- 9:39Speaker 1: want people to recognize, Like never mind waiting until the
- 9:41Speaker 1: world ends. Are you happy being alive right now? Because
- 9:44Speaker 1: based on these comments, our generation is highly depressed.
- 9:48Speaker 2: M h.
- 9:49Speaker 1: The first person that responded back to me was like, yes, baby,
- 9:52Speaker 1: telling we was here, type of telling we was here
- 9:55Speaker 1: for me, Like y'all ready to go? And I said,
- 9:58Speaker 1: you know what, y'all the motherfuckers that would hide a
- 10:01Speaker 1: zombie bite. Yeah, y'all are motherfuckers that'll be amongst a
- 10:07Speaker 1: group of us trying to survive, and you do did
- 10:09Speaker 1: some dumb shit, got bit and you just stole walking
- 10:12Speaker 1: and hanging out with us like you regular waiting to
- 10:15Speaker 1: turn go jump off a bridge. Okay. Somebody was like, yeah, girl,
- 10:24Speaker 1: we're gonna fight it. We're gonna build a memorial for
- 10:26Speaker 1: the following ones. I said, I'm not building naw memorial
- 10:29Speaker 1: for no nigga that gave up Burnham for real, Like
- 10:35Speaker 1: why would you give you on life?
- 10:37Speaker 2: Listen, you gotta have compassion for people. Everybody ain't as
- 10:40Speaker 2: strong as you. Everybody is not you. Everybody can't handle
- 10:44Speaker 2: adversity the same way you do.
- 10:45Speaker 1: But imagine a whole comment section like that, So that
- 10:48Speaker 1: means won me and like a few old sprinkling so
- 10:51Speaker 1: all y'all depressed and ready to go today. Yeah, I
- 10:56Speaker 1: know you said worlds and you was just gonna start
- 10:58Speaker 1: sniffing coke.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna do some whoa, you know, but I
- 11:04Speaker 2: ain't going out without a fight. But my fight gonna
- 11:07Speaker 2: be highest school.
- 11:13Speaker 1: How to you wait to apocalyst to get an opioid addiction?
- 11:17Speaker 2: Right, I'm high as hell and I'm gonna fuck without
- 11:20Speaker 2: a condo.
- 11:22Speaker 1: And I guess ibody living like the end of the
- 11:25Speaker 1: world because babe, I don't call no mother baby bitch.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I still don't want to be burning apocalyst like you're
- 11:35Speaker 1: not gonna be able to get no medication.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Running from the zombies. M I pussy on.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Fire and nobody can't wash like that, Like you really
- 11:44Speaker 1: gonna get burned by some dirty dick.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Okay, I always.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Think about that watching the watching that bad meet Ricky Bobby,
- 11:54Speaker 1: that pussy gonna be stayed got burned, Yet neither will I.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Okay, BV to the max, anybody be very possible.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Everybody got b V during the zombie Apocalypse. I'm pretty
- 12:10Speaker 1: sure everybody on the Walking Dad had BV dog.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Yeah, because there was a washing.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Niggas had the same clothes like every fucking day, bitch.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I'm just man Like's not.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Like I'm gonna.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Literally have wigs in my book bag during this apocalypse.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Like what the I'm not about to be walking around
- 12:30Speaker 1: here looking like bashon, okay, but.
- 12:36Speaker 2: The fact that you worried about wigs during the zombie
- 12:38Speaker 2: apocalyp this next.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Level, bitch.
- 12:41Speaker 2: I'm when the zombies come, I'm gonna have two corn
- 12:44Speaker 2: roads going straight back and like my head right.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Now underneath this week. Yeah, next girl, you.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Know you will run out. You know what?
- 13:01Speaker 1: Did he mama?
- 13:01Speaker 2: Jide? Oh? Did hey? Mom speaks out. So Diddy's mom
- 13:07Speaker 2: has finally weighed in on her son's legal troubles, stating
- 13:10Speaker 2: while he might not have been completely honest about the
- 13:13Speaker 2: whole castie situation, that doesn't automatically make him guilty of
- 13:17Speaker 2: all the allegations in his adictment. Jenis kOhm spoke out
- 13:21Speaker 2: about the situation to local ten news on Sunday through
- 13:25Speaker 2: her attorney, expressing her devastation over the allegations against her son,
- 13:29Speaker 2: saying he was judged by the truth. He was judged
- 13:32Speaker 2: not by the truth, but by a narrative created out
- 13:35Speaker 2: of lies. She also said to bear witness to what
- 13:38Speaker 2: seems like a public lynching of my son before he
- 13:41Speaker 2: had the opportunity to prove his innocence. Is a pain
- 13:45Speaker 2: too unbearable to put into words. Okay, Mortician, listen what
- 13:52Speaker 2: you call her mortician girl?
- 13:54Speaker 1: Because I remember seeing a statement of what her saying, like,
- 13:57Speaker 1: her son is not the monster they're making her out
- 13:59Speaker 1: to be, making him out to be. She is mortitious.
- 14:03Speaker 1: She had that monster Adam's family. Absolutely, Oh my god,
- 14:07Speaker 1: you could not tell Mortitia her baby wasn't beautiful.
- 14:10Speaker 2: But listen, here's the thing, what mother it could be
- 14:13Speaker 2: little a nigga in jail named Little Pistol Starter is
- 14:16Speaker 2: his nickname, and he don't kill a bunch of people.
- 14:19Speaker 2: And the mom is still gonna be like, that's my baby.
- 14:22Speaker 2: I love him. He's not the monster that because a
- 14:25Speaker 2: mother's love is just you know, is it a different thing.
- 14:29Speaker 2: So I don't knock her for supporting her baby. That's
- 14:33Speaker 2: what mothers do. That's just what mothers do.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Have y'all seen that movie The Good Son, You remember
- 14:37Speaker 1: that movie. It was like the these people's biological son, right.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Yeah, she dropped her son over the clifs exactly.
- 14:45Speaker 1: So that would be me right, knowing I have this
- 14:50Speaker 1: demon seed, right and he's about to kill all of
- 14:53Speaker 1: us at this point, even the son we adopted, he's
- 14:56Speaker 1: the mad seed. At some point you have to recognize that,
- 15:00Speaker 1: you know, Yeah, yeah, that you kind of you know
- 15:05Speaker 1: what I'm saying, Yeah, I agree, But that mother's love
- 15:08Speaker 1: thing is just so it's the closest thing to God's love, right,
- 15:12Speaker 1: and it's very unconditional at times, and it's hard to like,
- 15:15Speaker 1: I think I don't know it yet.
- 15:17Speaker 2: I would hope that God would bless me to know
- 15:19Speaker 2: that type of love for my child, but I think
- 15:21Speaker 2: it's a bond that's just hard to break mentally. It's
- 15:25Speaker 2: just hard to especially when.
- 15:26Speaker 1: You made your child the way they are. You know.
- 15:29Speaker 1: That's something also because you know a lot of people
- 15:31Speaker 1: speculate about him and his mom's relationship, not saying like
- 15:34Speaker 1: they have like some crazy like Oedipis type shit going on.
- 15:38Speaker 1: But you know a lot of moms enable their children
- 15:41Speaker 1: to be the people that they are.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Oh, anytime I see like a very fucked up line lineage,
- 15:46Speaker 2: I always look at the matriarch.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Exactly like we literally wear the fruit, they we bury
- 15:51Speaker 1: that fruit. So I mean listen.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Ooh ooh, which makes me y'all. You know, I love
- 15:59Speaker 2: reading me a good book. That's what I did. I
- 16:00Speaker 2: read this book in like three days. It's called The
- 16:04Speaker 2: The Housemaid. If y'all are reader, and y'all like a
- 16:07Speaker 2: who done it? Read The Housemaid? It is so good
- 16:11Speaker 2: and it's definitely like you know about the mom. You
- 16:14Speaker 2: know who's the mom and what they do for the family.
- 16:17Speaker 2: So read that, y'allah.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Like like I said, our mothers are definitely our gods
- 16:23Speaker 1: in a way, you know what I'm saying. They literally
- 16:25Speaker 1: give us life. So when you looking at like how
- 16:28Speaker 1: a person is, you have to look at how they
- 16:30Speaker 1: were raised. You have to, like you can't. But the
- 16:34Speaker 1: thing I don't agree with with this ditty case is
- 16:36Speaker 1: how this attorney has now essentially put like a class
- 16:39Speaker 1: action lawsuit out there so anybody like a hotline he
- 16:42Speaker 1: has and over twelve thousand people have now called into
- 16:45Speaker 1: this hotlines and that they were violated by Diddy. How
- 16:48Speaker 1: my nigga, Like now it's almost going to get to
- 16:50Speaker 1: the point. And this is to me, I wouldn't be
- 16:54Speaker 1: surprised if this, if this, if this attorney right, who's
- 16:58Speaker 1: representing all these people isn't actually working for Diddy because
- 17:02Speaker 1: the weird part is like, once you get twelve thousand
- 17:04Speaker 1: people together, you know they're all lying in the majority
- 17:06Speaker 1: of them is a lot, right. That kind of discredits
- 17:09Speaker 1: the people who actually have legitimate lawsuits against Ditty, so
- 17:13Speaker 1: he can kind of use this in his favor, like
- 17:16Speaker 1: the wire exactly, these people are inspiring against me because
- 17:21Speaker 1: if I was his attorney, bitch, that would be the
- 17:22Speaker 1: route I would be going. This is all of which Hunt,
- 17:25Speaker 1: This is all some bullshit, So I don't know. It's
- 17:28Speaker 1: just weird, Like y'all create a hotline. Did y'all do
- 17:31Speaker 1: that for Harry Wysee? No, I'm signing like niggas now,
- 17:34Speaker 1: you know niggas be like, oh, they always bring the
- 17:35Speaker 1: black man down. But for real, man, this is a
- 17:38Speaker 1: bit much. That's a bit much. So I don't know.
- 17:42Speaker 2: It's a lot twelve thousand people. He ain't had that
- 17:45Speaker 2: many parties, right, Like, God, you haven't baby off of
- 17:50Speaker 2: all of them people.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Fly one of my I don't know that. I do
- 17:57Speaker 1: want to fuck on a bloud mattress with a bunch
- 17:59Speaker 1: of oil. It's just one of my things I want
- 18:01Speaker 1: to do at some point, like.
- 18:02Speaker 2: What is that? What that's for? I still want to know, Like,
- 18:05Speaker 2: can somebody please tell me what they gotta.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Be for a slipping slide party? Gotta be for slipping
- 18:12Speaker 1: slide party? Like why else? First of all, that's like
- 18:15Speaker 1: coconut oil would be the better option for lubrication. So
- 18:18Speaker 1: I don't know what you're doing with all this fucking
- 18:19Speaker 1: baby oil, all that petroleum. That's a lot sounds like
- 18:24Speaker 1: BV to me. You need to use some coconut oil.
- 18:28Speaker 1: And it's just weird how they put that particular point
- 18:31Speaker 1: in the media. It's like, this is the world state.
- 18:34Speaker 2: I could you not put that point in the media though,
- 18:36Speaker 2: But that's.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Why it's so unseerious, you know. That makes it so
- 18:41Speaker 1: unseerious to me.
- 18:43Speaker 2: But there's no children involved, So what is really like?
- 18:47Speaker 1: I mean, they're saying there's children. There's now people saying
- 18:50Speaker 1: that they were molested by him at nine and shit
- 18:52Speaker 1: like that. There's adults now saying that, yeah, did he
- 18:56Speaker 1: did this to me when I was a child. I
- 18:57Speaker 1: came in for a record deal and he made me
- 19:00Speaker 1: top of them off, Like for real, that's happening, yes,
- 19:05Speaker 1: So I just it's just it's just too weird. It's
- 19:07Speaker 1: getting real weird. So I don't know, good luck to Diddy. Man,
- 19:12Speaker 1: I still can't like condemn people. That's not for me
- 19:15Speaker 1: to do. Karma always come back a line to get
- 19:18Speaker 1: that ass.
- 19:18Speaker 2: It's a publicly like I'm people. I just can't, you know,
- 19:22Speaker 2: with the Cassie thing. I because you know, I have
- 19:25Speaker 2: loved Diddy forever. You know, I used to say I
- 19:27Speaker 2: want to be on his boat. You know, I want
- 19:28Speaker 2: to go on the boat. But God protect babies and fools,
- 19:32Speaker 2: so I ain't never make it on there. But I
- 19:35Speaker 2: mean what we saw him do to Cassie definitely hurt
- 19:38Speaker 2: my feelings to see that happens. So I'm not like
- 19:41Speaker 2: really like good luck to Diddy because he did some
- 19:44Speaker 2: very agregious shit. Absolutely yeah, but I will say, like.
- 19:49Speaker 1: We know, the luck ain't gonna be good. So it's
- 19:50Speaker 1: not like I'm like, oh I hope he gets off.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Hell no, like Nigga good luck. That's really like sarcasm.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Okay, the fu.
- 20:00Speaker 1: But I'm still not gonna be the person that says, oh,
- 20:03Speaker 1: he deserves this, because like those are the people that
- 20:06Speaker 1: would probably go to a public hanging or a public
- 20:09Speaker 1: stoning online, just like his mom said, like he's being
- 20:12Speaker 1: publicly like, I don't want to. I'm never gonna be
- 20:14Speaker 1: one in the audience throwing a stone.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, because even though I lest some shit
- 20:20Speaker 2: happened to me or someone I love and I know personally,
- 20:24Speaker 2: that would be the only way I have a stone
- 20:26Speaker 2: to cast. Well.
- 20:28Speaker 1: See, I'm different in that way too, because when it
- 20:30Speaker 1: happens to one, I feel like it's happening to all right,
- 20:33Speaker 1: So I I never feel like I'm exempt from any
- 20:35Speaker 1: bullshit happening, right, But I'm still not here to just
- 20:44Speaker 1: publicly condemn people because.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Everybody got some balls. If this ship out of me
- 20:49Speaker 2: and you knew, you wouldn't publicly condemn him, No, absolutely, Yeah.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Ah yeah, I probably wouldn't because I want to be
- 21:01Speaker 1: able to make you disappear in two years. Like so,
- 21:04Speaker 1: I don't want nobody to ever tie me to your disappearance,
- 21:07Speaker 1: not you, but the person who did it to you.
- 21:10Speaker 1: So I probably wouldn't be as public about it if
- 21:14Speaker 1: I plan actually doing something today. Fucking ass, you know
- 21:17Speaker 1: what I'm saying. It's a little different. I don't know next.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Tim Moury, Okay, Tim Murray has her new reality TV show,
- 21:27Speaker 1: and she said she lost the virginity to her husband
- 21:29Speaker 1: at twenty five. The actress family grew up in a
- 21:33Speaker 1: religious household and was not allowed to date until the
- 21:36Speaker 1: age of eighteen. And the same clip, Tia talks about
- 21:39Speaker 1: being her true authentic self for the first time as
- 21:42Speaker 1: her white picket fence persona was not all it seemed
- 21:46Speaker 1: to be. She said, at times she went home and
- 21:49Speaker 1: fell alone despite being married.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Oh m, she's a good woman, Savannah five, that's it.
- 21:57Speaker 1: And that's the only man she's ever known. So he
- 21:59Speaker 1: was her first ever thing. Is what he what she said?
- 22:02Speaker 1: I can see her now wanting to live with Baybe.
- 22:05Speaker 1: It ain't nothing outside, girl, Go explore a little bit,
- 22:10Speaker 1: might get a few extra dicks up your sleep. But
- 22:13Speaker 1: see if your husband have you back, because.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Right or they'll have each other back, you know.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Yeah, Like see if y'all can work ship out, because
- 22:22Speaker 1: maybe he'll be understanding that you you never actually lived,
- 22:25Speaker 1: because niggas be living, Okay. I don't see him ever
- 22:28Speaker 1: holding off on some gucci before or after the marriage.
- 22:32Speaker 2: I wish I had my virginity to my husband. That
- 22:35Speaker 2: would have been nice.
- 22:37Speaker 1: You know, a lot of women ain't gonna admit to that,
- 22:39Speaker 1: like we'd be saying whole his life and all that ship.
- 22:41Speaker 1: But girl, by, you know you can wish you can
- 22:43Speaker 1: all control, all delite some of them bodies off that
- 22:45Speaker 1: pussy because I know I all love them. I know
- 22:48Speaker 1: what I do ripping out the plastic on my motherfucker
- 22:52Speaker 1: wedther day. Okay, yeah, get rejuvenation. I mean that's kind
- 22:56Speaker 1: of kind of new, Yeah for my wedding day. Kind
- 23:00Speaker 1: of kind of knew a little bit. I don't know. Yeah,
- 23:03Speaker 1: I wish I could literally, I mean, I do delete people.
- 23:08Speaker 1: You know, if I ain't coming, don't count, So it
- 23:11Speaker 1: do count. That should do not count, bitch, especially if
- 23:14Speaker 1: they ran to die too. What happened.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Never happened. That's mean as fun.
- 23:27Speaker 1: But y'all knew that.
- 23:30Speaker 2: But knew that, But y'all knew I was mean.
- 23:35Speaker 1: See that's what I'm saying. Never change change, So y'all,
- 23:41Speaker 1: this one last story is let me know what y'all doing.
- 23:44Speaker 1: So woman says her truck driver husband was missing for
- 23:48Speaker 1: two days. She filed a police support and he suddenly
- 23:51Speaker 1: appears and apologizes on Facebook. Baby, I'm sorry, that's what
- 23:58Speaker 1: he had to say.
- 23:59Speaker 2: It was a long like.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Little let me pull it up right quick, hold on.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Yeah, because he made a statement because people were like, uh,
- 24:06Speaker 2: coming for her, and he made a statement in support
- 24:10Speaker 2: of her. But bitch, where the fuck were you at?
- 24:13Speaker 2: Where could worry you?
- 24:14Speaker 1: So it says a man went missing for forty eight
- 24:17Speaker 1: hours and his wife out a police report and told
- 24:20Speaker 1: Facebook all about it. On Sunday, a woman by the
- 24:22Speaker 1: name of Brittany Brittany from a now deleted Facebook page
- 24:26Speaker 1: share that her husband, Joseph Avery, was a truck driver
- 24:30Speaker 1: and had been missing for forty eight hours. She continued
- 24:32Speaker 1: to share that his employer was contacted to locate his
- 24:35Speaker 1: truck and they weren't helpful. On Wednesday, excuse me. Eventually,
- 24:40Speaker 1: she updated the Facebook post and shared there was a
- 24:43Speaker 1: police report filed. A few hours later, she stated her
- 24:46Speaker 1: husband of four years had been found and she didn't
- 24:49Speaker 1: know his condition. On Wednesday, Avery made a public post
- 24:53Speaker 1: on social media site on a social media site apologizing,
- 24:56Speaker 1: but he didn't share where he was when no one
- 24:59Speaker 1: could find him. However, he confirmed he was in contact
- 25:03Speaker 1: with his wife for two days and that was not
- 25:06Speaker 1: He was not in contact with his wife for two
- 25:08Speaker 1: days and that was not like him. Listen when I
- 25:10Speaker 1: said this to Tabby Tims, like he gay he was
- 25:16Speaker 1: a nigga for two days. Flick. Hey, let's say knowing
- 25:23Speaker 1: that this guy was just found truck driver was just
- 25:28Speaker 1: found in North Carolina, essentially lynched, right, I can understand
- 25:32Speaker 1: her concern. Your heartsman just disappears for two whole fucking days.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Forty eight hours.
- 25:38Speaker 1: And we know these niggas who drive trucks, they be
- 25:40Speaker 1: like whores. Okay, let's just be honest. They could skip,
- 25:43Speaker 1: they bout pussy in all different states.
- 25:45Speaker 2: And if they got one of the beds in the
- 25:47Speaker 2: bad women be actually getting up in that truck and
- 25:50Speaker 2: fucking in that truck.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Girl, you sucking dick in the back of a truck.
- 25:55Speaker 1: You're a wild If that's not your husband, that's not
- 25:58Speaker 1: your man.
- 25:59Speaker 2: What are you doing right? Why are you hopping your
- 26:02Speaker 2: answer in the can?
- 26:03Speaker 1: Because I'll definitely meet my nigga at a truck stop, okay,
- 26:07Speaker 1: but what what are you doing? So yeah, they got
- 26:10Speaker 1: the pictures of them. He kind of looked like, Uh,
- 26:12Speaker 1: what's the rapper from California? The one the game, the
- 26:17Speaker 1: one Sweetie Dayton genisis no sweety not dating him. What's
- 26:22Speaker 1: the nigga YG? He looked like YG a little bit
- 26:25Speaker 1: to meet this guy. But yeah, so she she updated.
- 26:31Speaker 2: You know, yeah, he mean like YG, stay for you
- 26:34Speaker 2: gates because that's what he was doing. I believe.
- 26:41Speaker 1: She was like, yeah, he does suffer from health issues.
- 26:43Speaker 1: They call the company he works for it. They said
- 26:45Speaker 1: he was last in Maryland, but the tractor hasn't moved
- 26:48Speaker 1: or moved for seventeen hours, so he basically parked that
- 26:51Speaker 1: shit and somebody came and scoop his ass up. They said,
- 26:55Speaker 1: if he doesn't make the delivery by tomorrow, they will
- 26:57Speaker 1: call the police. Is that normal for a company to
- 26:59Speaker 1: do that? Yeah, because they have like a certain timeframe.
- 27:02Speaker 1: So as long as he makes he meets the delivery
- 27:05Speaker 1: time right, it's not an issue. So I guess he
- 27:09Speaker 1: spent his down hours somewhere somewhere, But it says edis is.
- 27:18Speaker 1: I call the company several times and they told me
- 27:20Speaker 1: to call tomorrow and hung up on me. So they're like, bitch,
- 27:23Speaker 1: we're not about to get into no domestic shit with you.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Yeah, that's none of our business. He did his job
- 27:27Speaker 2: and we're not concerned until he doesn't do his job.
- 27:31Speaker 2: If that truck don't come back when it's supposed to,
- 27:33Speaker 2: it's a problem for us. But other than that, that's
- 27:35Speaker 2: between y'all exactly. So here's his apology.
- 27:39Speaker 1: I like to issue a public apology to my wife,
- 27:42Speaker 1: all caps, Brittany, Brittany, I'm sorry, baby, for the humiliation
- 27:46Speaker 1: and embarrassment that I caused you. I've seen all the
- 27:49Speaker 1: bashing and allegations from all the internet trolls about us
- 27:52Speaker 1: not being really married or her being a crazy X stocker,
- 27:56Speaker 1: and none of that is true. She's my wife and
- 27:58Speaker 1: has been for four years. She was genuinely concerned and
- 28:02Speaker 1: hadn't heard from me in over forty eight hours, which
- 28:04Speaker 1: is unlike me. I usually always check in. She done
- 28:08Speaker 1: what any wife would do. She made a post to
- 28:11Speaker 1: bring awareness, especially since I suffered from health issues, so
- 28:14Speaker 1: technically I was missing. Since I hadn't spoken to my
- 28:17Speaker 1: wife or family for a few days, she thought something
- 28:19Speaker 1: had happened to me or I was having a medical emergency.
- 28:23Speaker 1: I was missing, so please stop saying she fought a
- 28:25Speaker 1: false report. Again, baby, I'm sorry for causing all this
- 28:28Speaker 1: stuff coming for my wife and family come at me,
- 28:31Speaker 1: but they shortly thereafter that both of them deleted their
- 28:34Speaker 1: Facebook posts.
- 28:37Speaker 2: It's too late, baby, you made it and we talk back.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Man were happening, Brittany, Joseph was fucking cheating, Okay. If
- 28:44Speaker 1: the nigga was not in jail or at the hospital,
- 28:47Speaker 1: he was cheating. Where is the risk band from the hospital? Like,
- 28:51Speaker 1: where was he right? Where your nigga been at? We
- 28:54Speaker 1: are concerned now because you made a public We need
- 28:58Speaker 1: to know where that nigga been at.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Where were you at, Joe, Joe? That's what?
- 29:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I want to know where the fuck he was at? Like,
- 29:07Speaker 1: my nigga cannot disappear for two days. For two days,
- 29:10Speaker 1: imagine like when you get home, I won't be there.
- 29:14Speaker 1: I will not be.
- 29:15Speaker 2: There two whole days is crazy? Without a word? Seven
- 29:19Speaker 2: who then you come back and say just I'm sorry
- 29:22Speaker 2: and where were you? Seven home?
- 29:26Speaker 1: Nice? She was just about through it two days and
- 29:31Speaker 1: I'm just about through girl. Hold on, before we get off,
- 29:37Speaker 1: did I tell you about the old man I have
- 29:39Speaker 1: bought up? Like speaking of Facebook marketplace, I had bought
- 29:42Speaker 1: air pump, like a portable air pump from this old way.
- 29:44Speaker 2: You talking about speaking us? If we did not have
- 29:47Speaker 2: that conversation we had it, yeah off here, right?
- 29:50Speaker 1: But girl, why is seventy seventy something year old white
- 29:54Speaker 1: man texting my damn phone now? But anyway, because I
- 29:56Speaker 1: did give him my number because he does like the
- 29:58Speaker 1: whole selling you know, you buy, like the some shit
- 30:01Speaker 1: some might that might be something I want to get into,
- 30:03Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, especially like cosmetic stuff. But
- 30:08Speaker 1: when I went to pick the airpump up from him,
- 30:10Speaker 1: we met at Zaxby's. We sat there and talked for
- 30:13Speaker 1: like twenty minutes, and within this twenty minutes I knew
- 30:15Speaker 1: all of his shit, all his business. But he had
- 30:18Speaker 1: told me that, you know, his wife divorced him. He
- 30:22Speaker 1: got divorced like in his forties. He said he used
- 30:24Speaker 1: to own a firestone and some young girl came in
- 30:29Speaker 1: there one day. It was basically trying to trade her
- 30:31Speaker 1: ringing to get new tires and brakes, and I guess
- 30:36Speaker 1: he started fucking with her. But he said that he
- 30:39Speaker 1: always used to come home between six thirty and six
- 30:42Speaker 1: forty five every day. Right. He said he was late
- 30:48Speaker 1: coming home two times, and by the second time his
- 30:51Speaker 1: wife had got a private investigator on her on him.
- 30:54Speaker 2: You mentioned this on the show before I did.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Yeap oh deleted you did like bitch two days too.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Motherfucking you came home. You was late, though, I'm still
- 31:05Speaker 1: on your ass.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Fifteen minutes late.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Fifteen minutes late anyway.
- 31:10Speaker 2: All right, So when we get back from our break,
- 31:13Speaker 2: we're going to talk about unfollowing and following, blocking and
- 31:19Speaker 2: unblocking in your phone and social media? Is it healthy?
- 31:24Speaker 2: What do you think?
- 31:25Speaker 1: And I do it and it is a form of
- 31:28Speaker 1: manipulation as far as I'm concerned.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Well call me manipulation, Tam, because I'm blocking your ass.
- 31:37Speaker 2: We'll be right back you guys.
- 31:43Speaker 1: All right, y'all, So we're back, and for today's episode,
- 31:47Speaker 1: I wanted to talk about, uh, unfollowing and following people
- 31:54Speaker 1: on social media? How do you feel when you unfollow people?
- 31:59Speaker 1: And how do you feel when someone unfollows you or
- 32:02Speaker 1: even blocks you? And to take it a step further,
- 32:05Speaker 1: have you ever been blocked? Tammy?
- 32:08Speaker 2: Have you I just I just got blocked.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Block you.
- 32:14Speaker 2: One of my old niggas.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Damn you got blocked by dude.
- 32:18Speaker 2: Yeah, he mad, he real sassy girl. Don't worry about it.
- 32:23Speaker 2: He was sassy thing, sassy frast He told me he
- 32:29Speaker 2: was gonna take me away. From my birthday, and then
- 32:32Speaker 2: he was on bullshit and then he didn't do it,
- 32:35Speaker 2: and then the next time he hit me up, I
- 32:37Speaker 2: was like, boy, fuck you full of shit. You don't
- 32:39Speaker 2: even communicate. He's like, I'm sick of your mouth, and
- 32:45Speaker 2: then he blocked me. What the hell, sassy?
- 32:50Speaker 1: But why would men stand on business? We be calling
- 32:52Speaker 1: them sassy? That's fucked up.
- 32:53Speaker 2: How's dad standing on business? All you had to do
- 32:55Speaker 2: if something came up and you couldn't take me, you
- 32:58Speaker 2: could have communicated that you sure you birthday? I said
- 33:04Speaker 2: you just I said, you always on bullshit? You unreliable.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Mm hmm, that's always your mouth. What did I say?
- 33:15Speaker 1: Nigga had a block party on you.
- 33:17Speaker 2: I don't care. He'll be back. They always come back
- 33:20Speaker 2: with thing.
- 33:22Speaker 1: I've never been blocked by a guy before, but I
- 33:25Speaker 1: have definitely been blocked by an ex best friend to
- 33:27Speaker 1: this date. And I'm like, well, I'm assuming to this
- 33:30Speaker 1: day because I haven't checked in a while.
- 33:32Speaker 2: No.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Actually, somebody sent me that she was pregnant. But they
- 33:35Speaker 1: just sent like a Facebook link and I clicked on
- 33:37Speaker 1: it and I couldn't see anything. So I was like, oh,
- 33:39Speaker 1: she must have got me blocked, but for what, Like
- 33:44Speaker 1: your life is not that lit for me to like
- 33:46Speaker 1: want to see everything you got going on to where
- 33:49Speaker 1: you're on social media. Yes, that is so weird to me.
- 33:54Speaker 2: I don't think I've ever had any women blocking, you know, like.
- 33:57Speaker 1: I would never now I havelock and this same person
- 34:01Speaker 1: I have blocked and then unblocked just so I unfollow
- 34:05Speaker 1: her and she can unfollow me. You know, that's how
- 34:07Speaker 1: you get people to unfollow you, Like I've done that,
- 34:10Speaker 1: Like so within the same second, I'm blocking and unblocking
- 34:12Speaker 1: just to get the unfollowed. But no, I've never just
- 34:16Speaker 1: blocked for what picture me rolling?
- 34:20Speaker 2: Well, what's the point of blocking and unblocking.
- 34:22Speaker 1: So they can unfollow and you unfollow? Like you force
- 34:26Speaker 1: them to unfollow you when you block and unblock, like
- 34:30Speaker 1: within the same minute, you know what I'm saying.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Oh, but I'm just saying, but why because.
- 34:35Speaker 1: If we are no longer friends, why do you need
- 34:37Speaker 1: to be following me? I'm not gonna block you.
- 34:43Speaker 2: It's definitely it's still definitely girls in my uh follows
- 34:48Speaker 2: that we're not friends no more, but we just never
- 34:50Speaker 2: unfollowed each other.
- 34:51Speaker 4: It's cool whatever, No, I feel like it's levels, right,
- 34:55Speaker 4: So like best friendshit, like you were somebody I speak
- 34:58Speaker 4: to every day and then now we just aren't friends anymore. Oh,
- 35:03Speaker 4: I did block one of my old best That's what
- 35:05Speaker 4: I'm saying, Like, that's it's just different.
- 35:08Speaker 2: Now.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Did y'all refollow each other since y'all cool?
- 35:12Speaker 2: Now?
- 35:13Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I'm saying. To block and then y'all
- 35:16Speaker 1: may eventually start talking to each other again or some
- 35:18Speaker 1: shit like why are you even doing that? Or to
- 35:20Speaker 1: unfollow like I felt like it was super final. That's
- 35:24Speaker 1: why I went ahead and did the unfollowed thing.
- 35:29Speaker 2: No, when i'm mad, I will.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Yeah, you've done it to me, and so that's also
- 35:33Speaker 1: a part of this conversation.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Bitch.
- 35:37Speaker 1: If you aren't following me, please let me know. That
- 35:39Speaker 1: was that was last year? Okay. If you an't following me, bitch, bitch,
- 35:46Speaker 1: let me know so I can unfollow your ass too.
- 35:48Speaker 1: We like still having to do business and ship. And
- 35:51Speaker 1: I realized, bitch.
- 35:53Speaker 3: I just see you today.
- 35:56Speaker 2: I had not forgot. Wasn't you following your ass? And
- 35:59Speaker 2: you said, and I was like, oh.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Ca Saio asked my mentions as a follow Bitch, did
- 36:07Speaker 1: you unfollow me at one point, Petty, is you okay?
- 36:14Speaker 2: Okay?
- 36:15Speaker 1: Are you okay?
- 36:16Speaker 2: Now?
- 36:17Speaker 1: I wasn't then are you well? Like that never crossed
- 36:21Speaker 1: my mind to unfollow Tammy, Like, no matter if we
- 36:23Speaker 1: beefing or what like, I still got to see and
- 36:24Speaker 1: talk to this bitch. So like that, what is that
- 36:27Speaker 1: really going to do? Other than like to me, it's foolish, right,
- 36:32Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. When I do it, it's final.
- 36:34Speaker 1: I don't gotta never fuck with you again. Period.
- 36:37Speaker 2: No for me is I do not want listen. The
- 36:39Speaker 2: best thing they ever gave me was the mute button.
- 36:42Speaker 2: That mute button is my best friend. Because if I'm
- 36:46Speaker 2: not if I'm mad at you and I'm not talking
- 36:47Speaker 2: to you, I don't want to see you out smiling
- 36:49Speaker 2: having a good time, I don't want to see nothing. Really,
- 36:51Speaker 2: get that out of my space.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Yeah, that is so weird.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Ain't shit funny? Bitch?
- 37:03Speaker 1: I'm never like that. But I realized that a lot
- 37:05Speaker 1: of people and I think we even had an episode
- 37:06Speaker 1: about blocking before, right, And I know I said, like
- 37:10Speaker 1: to me, blocking is a form of manipulation, especially if
- 37:13Speaker 1: you plan on unblocking a person and speaking to them
- 37:16Speaker 1: later on. It's like you catting off access to you
- 37:19Speaker 1: for a moment. That's fucked up because you do that
- 37:21Speaker 1: to me, I'm not talking to you no more.
- 37:23Speaker 2: If you block me, I never When I block, it's
- 37:28Speaker 2: with intention to never speak to you again. Now, if
- 37:31Speaker 2: somehow the universe decides first to reconcile, then okay. But
- 37:37Speaker 2: in that moment, I've done with you for life.
- 37:40Speaker 1: And so I guess I don't reconcile, right, because I
- 37:43Speaker 1: really like being on some shit like yeah, I'm good
- 37:46Speaker 1: on you whatever forever. If we get to that point
- 37:49Speaker 1: to where you got the block or block me or
- 37:51Speaker 1: I'm unfollowing and all that shit, man, we good forever.
- 37:54Speaker 1: I'm cool. One of my ex best friends still follow me,
- 37:56Speaker 1: but I've been unfollowed that bitch, and another one I
- 37:59Speaker 1: kept blocking and unblocking so she can unfollow me. I
- 38:02Speaker 1: don't even want you following me, bitch. That's so how
- 38:04Speaker 1: much I don't like you.
- 38:06Speaker 2: I literally blocked and unblocked a nigga in the same night.
- 38:12Speaker 2: See that is like, in less than twenty four hours,
- 38:14Speaker 2: I had them blocked to me and unblocked him. I
- 38:16Speaker 2: blocked him because I was mad, but then after I'm
- 38:19Speaker 2: mad at myself.
- 38:20Speaker 1: A little bit.
- 38:21Speaker 2: I was like, it's not that deep. I unblocked.
- 38:25Speaker 1: See, I do things with a little bit more intention,
- 38:27Speaker 1: so I if I go that far, that's it because
- 38:31Speaker 1: I already know, like, Okay, we beefing right now, but
- 38:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna want to talk to you later or I know,
- 38:36Speaker 1: and my soul is not final, but the ministum shit
- 38:39Speaker 1: fine on my soul, bitch, fuck you am unfollowing. I'm
- 38:42Speaker 1: I'm still not blocking though, so I don't. I don't
- 38:44Speaker 1: do that type of shit. I wanted to try to
- 38:46Speaker 1: figure out some of the reasons, Like this is aside
- 38:49Speaker 1: from like people we actually know, right, because I know
- 38:52Speaker 1: we also have people. Do you follow anybody on social
- 38:54Speaker 1: media you don't know personally or you've like become friends
- 38:58Speaker 1: with them on social media.
- 39:00Speaker 2: I follow a lot of bitches from the show. It's
- 39:02Speaker 2: a lot of people who have like listen to the show,
- 39:04Speaker 2: comment on something, and I'll follow them back and then
- 39:08Speaker 2: we become friends.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Yeah. I usually follow people back who like share our show,
- 39:13Speaker 1: like if they share it on their story or on
- 39:15Speaker 1: their page, like those usually the people I follow back
- 39:18Speaker 1: because I really appreciate their support. But then then you
- 39:21Speaker 1: just have people like I'll have random people following. I
- 39:24Speaker 1: usually look at people who follow. I'll look and see
- 39:28Speaker 1: and if they just look like they got life going on,
- 39:30Speaker 1: I might follow back. But then I'll do a purge
- 39:33Speaker 1: every so often, you know, and they might be one
- 39:36Speaker 1: of the people I unfollow, just there's no rhyme or reason.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Have you ever been following somebody and be like what
- 39:42Speaker 2: did that start following this person? Why?
- 39:44Speaker 1: And I've seen myself accidentally follow people before, like you
- 39:48Speaker 1: just strolling and now like the follower is right there,
- 39:51Speaker 1: so you can fuck run and hit it and not
- 39:53Speaker 1: realize it, like it's on the image basically.
- 39:56Speaker 2: So like the other day on my timeline, I saw
- 40:00Speaker 2: this nigga who was like holding pistols and money and
- 40:03Speaker 2: his pains was low and all that stuff, and I
- 40:05Speaker 2: was like, how did I start following this nigga? When
- 40:09Speaker 2: did that happen? You know? I follow?
- 40:11Speaker 1: I think when people buy followers, I think they make accounts,
- 40:16Speaker 1: real accounts follow people and you just have to realize
- 40:20Speaker 1: you didn't follow that person and unfollow. I think that
- 40:23Speaker 1: might be a package deal you can buy, because I
- 40:25Speaker 1: swear it'd be people I have never seen them on
- 40:27Speaker 1: my timeline before, just random ask who are you?
- 40:32Speaker 2: I don't know, Yeah, because who is that guy? I
- 40:35Speaker 2: would never follow somebody who running around with guns and
- 40:38Speaker 2: money online, you know, like in person, perhaps, but not
- 40:42Speaker 2: if that's your social media image. I'm not. That's not
- 40:45Speaker 2: my ministry, baby.
- 40:47Speaker 1: And even people I know who don't post shit like
- 40:49Speaker 1: you haven't posted it in years, I'm unfollow you, like
- 40:51Speaker 1: bitches I went to school with and shit like that. Like,
- 40:54Speaker 1: I'm unfollow you if I'm doing like a low purge
- 40:56Speaker 1: and you don't even use Instagram, Yeah, I'm unfollowing. So
- 41:02Speaker 1: I do do that type of shit because I like numbers, right,
- 41:05Speaker 1: so I want my number to say it's certain, Like
- 41:07Speaker 1: the follow number is nine nine nine, So you might
- 41:12Speaker 1: get Yeah, you might get kicked out because I want
- 41:16Speaker 1: it to be nine because I like nine. It's a
- 41:19Speaker 1: good number.
- 41:21Speaker 2: So you only want nine hundred and ninety nine people
- 41:24Speaker 2: you follow, and that's it. That's not strange.
- 41:28Speaker 1: So here are some reasons that people will unfollow, okay.
- 41:41Speaker 1: Number one is emotional boundaries. Unfollowing someone often serves as
- 41:45Speaker 1: a way to protect your emotional wellbeing. If someone frequently
- 41:48Speaker 1: posts content that causes stress, anxiety, or negative emotions, the
- 41:51Speaker 1: follower may choose choose to distance themselves to maintain their
- 41:55Speaker 1: own mental health. I have unfollowed accounts for that type
- 42:00Speaker 1: of shit, like you just always posting negative shit. I
- 42:03Speaker 1: hate a bit you always posting as somebody hating on them, Like,
- 42:07Speaker 1: don't nobody even know you, girl? I'm unsorrowing you.
- 42:11Speaker 2: You think that that is? I have no people like that,
- 42:13Speaker 2: Like everybody is just against them, everybody is jealous of them,
- 42:17Speaker 2: everybody is just girl relaxed.
- 42:20Speaker 1: Yes, And I'm unfollowing you know, because I don't want
- 42:24Speaker 1: it to ever get every for you to ever feel
- 42:26Speaker 1: any type of way. If I don't like something, or
- 42:29Speaker 1: if I don't comment on your post, or if I
- 42:32Speaker 1: look at your story and not hearted, I never want
- 42:34Speaker 1: you to feel a way. So let me just go
- 42:36Speaker 1: ahead and unfollow, because those will be the people who
- 42:38Speaker 1: think somebody just looking at them just to.
- 42:40Speaker 2: Look and hat I don't like, but I'm one of
- 42:45Speaker 2: those people, Like if you don't post me for my birthday,
- 42:48Speaker 2: I will have a like are we good? Are we ah?
- 42:50Speaker 2: Is you cool? I don't care why you ain't. No,
- 42:55Speaker 2: why you ain't only if you're if you're a person
- 42:57Speaker 2: who don't post a lot, But if You're posting all
- 43:00Speaker 2: day every day, and you posting everybody else's birthday and
- 43:03Speaker 2: you don't post mine? What's up? Is there a problem?
- 43:07Speaker 1: So you would think that person is not your friend?
- 43:10Speaker 2: You on one? What's up?
- 43:13Speaker 4: You?
- 43:13Speaker 1: Are?
- 43:13Speaker 2: We cool? With everything? Cool? Because why didn't you post me?
- 43:17Speaker 2: And then I definitely go to make sure I posted.
- 43:19Speaker 2: I look at our messages and see if I posted
- 43:21Speaker 2: you for yours? Oh but you got me fugged up?
- 43:25Speaker 1: But what if she texts you that day and towards
- 43:27Speaker 1: you happy birthday? So oh my god, Okay.
- 43:31Speaker 2: Post me because I'm gonna text you. I'm gonna call you.
- 43:36Speaker 2: And what else I'm gonna do on your birthday?
- 43:38Speaker 1: Post and call and sing happy birthday.
- 43:40Speaker 2: And I'm gonna sing to your motherfucking ass. The least
- 43:43Speaker 2: you can do is post my picture on your page,
- 43:45Speaker 2: especially if you're not on your page on your store.
- 43:47Speaker 1: Right. Yeah, it's only like a quick click, you know,
- 43:50Speaker 1: it's not much to do. But I'm still not mad
- 43:53Speaker 1: at a bitch for now because I don't only my
- 43:56Speaker 1: immediate friends.
- 43:57Speaker 2: Yeah, like close friends.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Yeah, so I ain't.
- 44:01Speaker 2: But if I posted you, you close enough, bitch? Post
- 44:04Speaker 2: me bad?
- 44:06Speaker 1: So the relationship over if the friend don't post your birthday.
- 44:10Speaker 2: No, no, it's not over, but there's gonna be a
- 44:12Speaker 2: conversation to be had very soon about it.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Yo. And how would that conversation go? You would call
- 44:17Speaker 1: him and say, what.
- 44:19Speaker 2: Hey, girl, how you doing? You cool? Is everything cool?
- 44:27Speaker 2: I think it's real funny. Dad.
- 44:33Speaker 1: I'd be like, get the fuck off my phone.
- 44:36Speaker 2: I've been stressed out all day and I didn't I
- 44:42Speaker 2: didn't see your posts, So what's up. You don't like me,
- 44:45Speaker 2: you hate me? What's going on?
- 44:47Speaker 1: Yo? What about my dog died today or something? Now
- 44:51Speaker 1: you're gonna feel like shit for stressing somebody else.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Then I'd be like, I'm so sorry, I didn't know that.
- 44:58Speaker 2: I would didn't apologize, but I mean, you can make
- 45:01Speaker 2: a related post and I understand.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Yo, okay. No. Social comparison is another reason why people
- 45:11Speaker 1: may unfollow someone. So it says constant comparison with others
- 45:15Speaker 1: lives as showcase on social media can lead to feelings
- 45:18Speaker 1: of inadequacy. People may unfollow individuals who suppost constantly trigger envy, jealousy,
- 45:23Speaker 1: or feelings of being less than. That's never me because
- 45:27Speaker 1: when I see a motherfucker doing great, I know I
- 45:29Speaker 1: can do it.
- 45:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I will definitely mute somebody.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Yo, you're fucking nuts.
- 45:36Speaker 2: Yeah I will. I will not because I'm jealousy jealous.
- 45:41Speaker 2: It's just because I don't want to ever be comparing myself,
- 45:45Speaker 2: you know. If I start to feel like a parison part, yeah,
- 45:48Speaker 2: I'll be like, look, this is gonna be counterproductive for
- 45:51Speaker 2: what I got going on right now, So I'm just
- 45:54Speaker 2: gonna mute you. It's not personal, it's just about me.
- 45:59Speaker 2: Does that make sense for you? Because it's not like
- 46:03Speaker 2: and be like, it's not like I look at this
- 46:05Speaker 2: ship and be like, oh, you shouldn't have that. That
- 46:07Speaker 2: should be me. That's never my energy. I'm always proud
- 46:09Speaker 2: of everybody. I want them to do great, especially black women,
- 46:12Speaker 2: you know. But if I start to feel like I
- 46:15Speaker 2: could be comparing my situation to theirs, I will mute.
- 46:19Speaker 1: I guess I never do that though. I never compare
- 46:21Speaker 1: my situation to somebody else. Haters are bred through that
- 46:26Speaker 1: type of shit, right because either you're gonna be inspired
- 46:29Speaker 1: or you're gonna become a hater. So I'm not saying
- 46:31Speaker 1: become a hater. Why you would block that person out?
- 46:34Speaker 1: But my mind never thinks like that like I never
- 46:37Speaker 1: I don't really do comparison mode for real. The only
- 46:40Speaker 1: people I be jealous of, I'm gonna be honest, the
- 46:43Speaker 1: motherfucking Wall Street Trapper, Chap, the Wall Street Trapper. As
- 46:48Speaker 1: much as I love that nigga, because I love him, Okay,
- 46:52Speaker 1: I cannot stand when that nigga show his motherfucker brokeras
- 46:55Speaker 1: you count balance, I'd be so jealous.
- 47:00Speaker 2: I don't be like Yo, I've been traded for years.
- 47:03Speaker 2: Where's my m okay, but it's coming so I'm not dressed.
- 47:07Speaker 2: It too bad.
- 47:08Speaker 1: It gives me, but no, it motivates me. It motivates me,
- 47:13Speaker 1: like I literally have on my vision board. Yeah, like
- 47:16Speaker 1: four m four million dollars on my fucking brokerage account
- 47:20Speaker 1: on my vision board. Like, no, mute, and look, I
- 47:28Speaker 1: was jealous. The other day he was posting this girl
- 47:30Speaker 1: for her birthday, saying how she was the one that
- 47:34Speaker 1: got away. Excuse me?
- 47:36Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, so just mute people.
- 47:39Speaker 1: You don't know you internet boyfriend of my mind? Are you? Well?
- 47:45Speaker 2: I like her? You get your CA and will and will.
- 47:55Speaker 1: But luckily, my nigga, don't listen to this show.
- 48:01Speaker 2: I'm about the blackmail.
- 48:02Speaker 1: Yo's gonna listen and send it to him, and I'm
- 48:04Speaker 1: gonna kill whoever that is.
- 48:05Speaker 2: Okay, I'm gonna either send me a tay tea tomorrow
- 48:09Speaker 2: around twelve o'clock or I wasn't.
- 48:12Speaker 1: Just extorting me for Boba. What is happening? Yeah, I'd
- 48:22Speaker 1: be jealous of his broker's account, like that's the only
- 48:25Speaker 1: person on social media, Like I'd be like, especially if
- 48:27Speaker 1: I had a bad day in the market and I
- 48:29Speaker 1: see somebody else made money, I'm like, oh my fucking god,
- 48:33Speaker 1: I hate these people. Other than that, I'm cool.
- 48:42Speaker 2: There's a it's a couple. I won't say their name,
- 48:45Speaker 2: but I had to mute her because I'm just tired
- 48:48Speaker 2: of y'all being in love. What y'all. I'm so sick
- 48:51Speaker 2: of y'all that because I don't want y'all to be
- 48:54Speaker 2: in love. I love, but I love love. But I'm
- 48:57Speaker 2: just like, girl enough, bitch, I don't have a man.
- 49:01Speaker 2: I can't take this. It's eating me up. You eating
- 49:05Speaker 2: me up every day. I want to know a girl
- 49:07Speaker 2: will tell me. I'll tell you after the ship telling
- 49:12Speaker 2: everybody because they be like, not you hating on so
- 49:14Speaker 2: and so. It's you know what, I am hating. Fuck it,
- 49:17Speaker 2: it is what it is. I'm jealous, yo.
- 49:19Speaker 1: You.
- 49:22Speaker 2: So I had to mute her. I don't but listen,
- 49:27Speaker 2: let me make this very clear. I don't want them
- 49:30Speaker 2: to break up. I love the love. I just don't
- 49:33Speaker 2: have it yet.
- 49:35Speaker 1: People shit don't be looking like what it is.
- 49:37Speaker 2: We know that too, right right right, It might not
- 49:40Speaker 2: be as beautiful as it looks on social media and oftentimes,
- 49:43Speaker 2: I mean, people post a highlight reel. They don't post
- 49:46Speaker 2: the bullshit. You know. So, but.
- 49:50Speaker 1: How about Chanelle and Duke. Who's that Chanelle like the
- 49:54Speaker 1: fitness girl. I think it's like Chanelle, uh, Chanelle Dezzler
- 50:00Speaker 1: something like that, and her fiance they engage now, name
- 50:04Speaker 1: is Duke. I was so happy when he got engaged.
- 50:06Speaker 1: I felt like it was like some people I actually knew.
- 50:09Speaker 1: They're like the finest couple on Instagram. To me, the
- 50:13Speaker 1: motherfuckers look good, both of them.
- 50:15Speaker 2: You know what I'm talking about.
- 50:17Speaker 1: Hold on, let me see make a funny havee real quick?
- 50:20Speaker 1: Duke so fucking fine. He's Nigerian African dude. Hey, go
- 50:25Speaker 1: right here.
- 50:26Speaker 2: I don't be really caring about the fitness girlies with
- 50:29Speaker 2: their boyfriend because I like to eat. Show me a
- 50:32Speaker 2: fat couple, I'd be jealous of the shive me a.
- 50:36Speaker 1: Fat bitch with her her man, I'm mad.
- 50:39Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I've never seen these No, you don't know
- 50:42Speaker 2: them in my life. No, but they are beautiful, you know, and.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Duke fine and hell she's so fine. Like how you
- 50:48Speaker 1: got a fat ass in a six pack? I'm confused.
- 50:52Speaker 2: You can have that right now for the price of
- 50:55Speaker 2: eight thousand dollars right care credit, But yep, can get you. So.
- 51:02Speaker 2: But yeah, that's the only people I I mute because
- 51:06Speaker 2: I don't block anybody on social media anymore. I just mute. Yeah,
- 51:10Speaker 2: if I'm following them. Yeah, so just that one girl
- 51:14Speaker 2: and her boyfriend, because damn, let me get a nigga
- 51:16Speaker 2: before y'all put it in my face every fucking day.
- 51:23Speaker 1: They're jealous ass girl.
- 51:26Speaker 2: That's it. That's all. Oh like all like literally every
- 51:34Speaker 2: guy that I've dated in the since Instagram started, that
- 51:38Speaker 2: we fell out. They no, they please your that was.
- 51:48Speaker 1: I didn't mean it to be it that.
- 51:55Speaker 2: No, they're all none of them niggas engage. Only one
- 51:59Speaker 2: of them is married. Oh no, two of them are
- 52:01Speaker 2: married now from my past, but all of them outside
- 52:04Speaker 2: industries being the whores they were when they were went me.
- 52:07Speaker 2: But they're all blocked on social media.
- 52:10Speaker 1: Damn you block all your old niggas.
- 52:14Speaker 2: Not all of them, but a lot of them, because
- 52:16Speaker 2: it always is in some type of betrayal that leads
- 52:20Speaker 2: to me like you don't need to have access to
- 52:22Speaker 2: me anymore.
- 52:24Speaker 1: I only got one nigga blocked, or one.
- 52:26Speaker 2: Guy I blocked because he didn't take care of his kids,
- 52:29Speaker 2: stuff like that.
- 52:29Speaker 1: You know, everybody should block him. You should put his
- 52:31Speaker 1: Instagram name on your story. Everybody should.
- 52:36Speaker 2: Right as your son lives down the street and he
- 52:38Speaker 2: ain't seen you in years. When I found that out,
- 52:41Speaker 2: I was like, oh hell, no blocked period.
- 52:44Speaker 1: No value misalignment. It says as people grow and evolved,
- 52:50Speaker 1: their values may shift. If someone's content no longer resonates
- 52:54Speaker 1: or aligns with those evolving values, it's common for users
- 52:58Speaker 1: to unfollow. For instance, if someone becomes more politically active
- 53:02Speaker 1: or shares controversial opinions, others might feel the need to
- 53:05Speaker 1: unfollow to avoid conflict, to conflict or discomfort. I agree
- 53:10Speaker 1: with that. I really don't unblocking, especially like right now,
- 53:13Speaker 1: like the political ship has been It's just a it's
- 53:16Speaker 1: a bit much, okay.
- 53:18Speaker 2: Yeah, and it can get ugly.
- 53:22Speaker 1: Disrespectful.
- 53:23Speaker 2: Actually yeah, they're passionate and sometimes they get rude. You know,
- 53:27Speaker 2: it gets to a place where And that's why I
- 53:29Speaker 2: don't wanting to talk about y'all. AJ really wants us
- 53:32Speaker 2: to have a political conversation on the show, but I
- 53:34Speaker 2: just feel like this our show is so much fun
- 53:37Speaker 2: and it's so happy, and I don't want her and
- 53:40Speaker 2: I to you know.
- 53:41Speaker 1: It doesn't have to be like that, right, So you
- 53:43Speaker 1: already in the wrong mindset.
- 53:45Speaker 2: But it has been like that before when we talked
- 53:48Speaker 2: about it, and that's why I don't want to enter
- 53:52Speaker 2: it into that space and then we be back in
- 53:55Speaker 2: so and then I'll be I'll follow you again, you
- 53:57Speaker 2: know what I'm saying, Like, I.
- 53:58Speaker 1: Don't why does it have to be? You know? This
- 54:00Speaker 1: is this is why also just in real life, regular life,
- 54:03Speaker 1: I try to stay away from religion and politics too.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Like I try to really gravitate towards people who have
- 54:08Speaker 1: the same views, but I also like to still see
- 54:11Speaker 1: what other people think. Like I'm not just to seeing
- 54:14Speaker 1: in girl. I'm not a Fox girl. What I don't
- 54:16Speaker 1: subscribe to no news station, but I like to see
- 54:20Speaker 1: all the things, So I'm never going to just discard
- 54:23Speaker 1: someone's opinion or their views about something in particular. We
- 54:27Speaker 1: should be able to converse without it being an argument
- 54:30Speaker 1: about some shit. Is what bitches call you willfully ignorant
- 54:34Speaker 1: is when she gets stupid. Yeah, because you said that, Yes,
- 54:38Speaker 1: you did call me willfully ignorant three years ago.
- 54:43Speaker 2: I said it. It was because you said some slitch bitch.
- 54:47Speaker 1: Nah, bitch because look, yes, ain't get vaccinated because of me,
- 54:50Speaker 1: bitch like hive out here saving fucking lives. Bitch because
- 54:55Speaker 1: ain't a motherfucker in this world regret not getting vaccinated. Okay, everybody,
- 55:00Speaker 1: we're good.
- 55:02Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right about that. But we did like our
- 55:06Speaker 2: when we would talk politics, that would get nasty, you know,
- 55:10Speaker 2: So I just don't want to do it. I like
- 55:12Speaker 2: where we are right now. I like the space that
- 55:13Speaker 2: we're in. I like the way we were communicating, and
- 55:16Speaker 2: I just don't want politics to ruin that.
- 55:19Speaker 1: Well, that's why I wanted to bring on other people. Right,
- 55:22Speaker 1: it doesn't have to necessarily be us having a conversation,
- 55:26Speaker 1: but with a platform like we talk back, you know,
- 55:30Speaker 1: and it's not like so we're not a comedy podcast, right,
- 55:34Speaker 1: it's culture and society, Like we need to be talking
- 55:38Speaker 1: about the things that's happening.
- 55:40Speaker 2: I yes, we should be talking about the things that
- 55:43Speaker 2: are happening. I agree, I just don't know politics should
- 55:48Speaker 2: be one of them. But we can revisit that before
- 55:50Speaker 2: the election.
- 55:51Speaker 1: Well the election is in twenty nine days, okay.
- 55:55Speaker 2: So we visit it next week and I'm gonna have
- 55:57Speaker 2: the same shame.
- 56:01Speaker 1: But yeah, some people. I haven't unfollowed people because of
- 56:04Speaker 1: their political opinions, but if the shit is too radical,
- 56:07Speaker 1: I'm really looking at you sideways because I just feel
- 56:11Speaker 1: like it's just something. It be something there, right, it's
- 56:16Speaker 1: just something like you.
- 56:18Speaker 2: It's something I don't like when it when it gets
- 56:22Speaker 2: to like as much as I enjoy sexy Red, I
- 56:26Speaker 2: had to unfollow her because our Sukiana Sukihan is mine.
- 56:30Speaker 2: Sometimes the content is just a little bit more than
- 56:36Speaker 2: that agrees with my personal taste. Yes, so I just
- 56:39Speaker 2: have to like follow, Yeah, no shade to them. I
- 56:43Speaker 2: like it was like that one picture when she was
- 56:46Speaker 2: like holding her coochie list like a penis. That's when
- 56:48Speaker 2: I was like, all right, that is.
- 56:50Speaker 1: For me enough. Yeah, Sukiyana I've always had a love
- 56:55Speaker 1: hite relationship for her because I just know she's much
- 56:57Speaker 1: more than what she presents. So I always battle with that,
- 57:01Speaker 1: just not wanting to discard. And I mean, she don't
- 57:03Speaker 1: know me, so it doesn't matter, right.
- 57:05Speaker 2: Yeah, you got millions of followers. They don't care. You know.
- 57:08Speaker 2: It's about the content that I want to consume, right,
- 57:12Speaker 2: you know, it's not personal.
- 57:14Speaker 1: Yeah, that ship is not for me. Like that, you'd
- 57:17Speaker 1: be saying some super intelligence sound and ship the next thing,
- 57:20Speaker 1: you know, she looking at that long ass tongue with
- 57:23Speaker 1: her leg cock open eating, put s on a video
- 57:26Speaker 1: all type of wearing shit.
- 57:28Speaker 2: Yeah for Auntie, listen, I just come from a different
- 57:34Speaker 2: I'm okay, I'm understanding and I'm accepting that. I just
- 57:37Speaker 2: come from a time. Yeah, Trina raor girl like you know.
- 57:43Speaker 3: Just still classy, whole classy ship.
- 57:45Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, okay, Yeah, decluttering the digital space. So we
- 57:52Speaker 1: kind of talked about that already, just you know, cleaning
- 57:54Speaker 1: your page up, cleaning up the followers, looking for people
- 57:58Speaker 1: that do not who are not social like I don't.
- 58:01Speaker 2: Like those bitches and I call them bitches who will
- 58:05Speaker 2: have a whole bunch of followers come follow you. You'll
- 58:08Speaker 2: be like, oh, they got good content, follow you, and
- 58:10Speaker 2: then you look back two days later and they've unfollowed.
- 58:12Speaker 1: I think that's how a lot of people build their followers.
- 58:15Speaker 2: Too, trying to build their followers and keep their numbers low. Bitch,
- 58:18Speaker 2: don't come over here with that because I don't follow
- 58:20Speaker 2: you back. Why are you doing that?
- 58:22Speaker 1: You're whack if you do that type of shit and
- 58:24Speaker 1: I and I've seen that, not just with the women,
- 58:27Speaker 1: men do that shit too, like random ass nigga following.
- 58:30Speaker 1: You might follow back because they content looks lit. A
- 58:33Speaker 1: couple of days later, like what is happening? That's pretty whack.
- 58:37Speaker 2: Yeah, that's lame. Don't do that.
- 58:39Speaker 1: I've had people I know do that, not like recently,
- 58:42Speaker 1: but like.
- 58:43Speaker 2: What follow you and then when you follow back on following?
- 58:47Speaker 1: Yes, yes it is. At one point I wasn't on
- 58:51Speaker 1: social media like that, so when I started getting back
- 58:53Speaker 1: on that type of whack shit was happening.
- 58:57Speaker 2: Have you ever had somebody try to force a follow
- 58:59Speaker 2: from you? Yeah, keep ding and they'll follow you and
- 59:02Speaker 2: unfollow follow my back and then unfollow you, and then
- 59:06Speaker 2: so you can keep showing up at so they can
- 59:08Speaker 2: keep showing up as a new follow, Like.
- 59:10Speaker 1: I've never had that happen, but I've had people like
- 59:13Speaker 1: putting messages in the comments like you'll follow me back?
- 59:17Speaker 1: Why if I wanted to, I would? I saw you
- 59:21Speaker 1: follow me? I promise I saw. I don't want to like.
- 59:28Speaker 2: But when did our world become?
- 59:30Speaker 1: So everybody wants to feel important? So that's what the
- 59:34Speaker 1: follow thing is, right, it's about it feeds something in people.
- 59:38Speaker 1: It feeds something in you to see the likes, right,
- 59:41Speaker 1: it feeds something. Oh, it gives you do That's what
- 59:44Speaker 1: Instagram is. It's instant grams of dopamine. That's literally what
- 59:49Speaker 1: the fuck they've created. It's a drug. Because I can't disconnect.
- 59:53Speaker 1: And we had a whole episode about just disconnecting from
- 59:56Speaker 1: social media to digital detox. I'm still trying every day.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: I'm still trying to because I know I can do
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: something more productive with those hours I spend on social media.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: And if it's not a straight six hours, I mean
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: it adds up throughout the day you on and off
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: the app.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: I have a problem with going on Facebook, Marketplace and
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: offer up and I'm like, just I love it. Haggling
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: motherfuckers like price haggling for shit I don't even want.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: I just like to see how far I can get
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: people together. Bitch, I'm blocking you, like, I'm just like
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: the negotiator, Like I will send them like they don't
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: have a price for something, and I'll send them where
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: it's a similar price marked down online for their shit,
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: Like I can get a new one of what you're
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: selling for. I just need to tell, right, yeah, for
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: five dollars more than what you're trying to sell it for.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: So are you willing to accept this price that I've
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: offered you? Like, I really be going back?
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: What's the last thing you off of Facebook Marketplace?
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: I just I just actually bought a salon sink okay
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: off of Facebook mark and listen. It was so lit
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: because I got a sink, uh, two dryers because they're
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: refurbishing their salon, this Salona downtown Charlotte and I and
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: since I'm moving from place to place, I just needed
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: some new stuff and they gave me all this ship.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: So what I'm gonna do? I mean, they gave me
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: a bunch of shit.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: You want to resell it? No?
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: Period?
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: Yeah, because they probably didn't feel, like, you know, having
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: to deal with the things. And that's what I was
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: talking about last week, like with my storage unit, Like
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: I wanted to sell that stuff, but I didn't really
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: have the time. So mm hm. Reducing social pressure. Sometimes
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: social media connections connections feel like obligations, especially with acquaintances
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: or distant relatives. Unfollowing can reduce the pressure to engage
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: with people one might not have a close relationship with,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: creating more space for authentic interactions. Not y'all unfollowing family,
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: because y'all all want to deal with them, and you
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: got to be careful who you engage with. So even though,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: like you know, engaging with listeners because that's something I
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: like to do, you just got to be careful because
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: some people just they automatically just think y'all like for
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: real besties mm hmm. You know, and some some people
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: be cool.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: But then others they just start a lot of people
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: are you know, actually really cool. But then some people
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: be really thinking, like I don't know you.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: They can pull up in your city, like I had
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: a Nigga message be like, now, maybe I just didn't say,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: but I don't live in Charlotte, right, I don't know.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: Maybe they never heard that. But this nigga driving trucks
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: is like I'm coming through. Excuse me, I don't even
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: live there. You don't know my life. You don't really
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: know my life. Dog, and my nigga is a killer. Okay,
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: I only fuck with killers. I'm not about to risk
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: my life or yours, sir, right legs the hell it's happened? Yeah,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: self esteem and empowerments. For some, unfollowing is an empowering act,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: so you power tripping. H It represents taking control of
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: one's digital environment and reinforcing personal boundaries. This is particularly
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: true in toxic relationships or after a breakup, where unfollowing
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: may signal a need to move on and regain emotional independence.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: So that's when it's a prop Yeah, I've done that. Like,
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: you don't need access to me in any way anymore
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: after this is done. And like if we ended amicably,
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: then okay, we can still have a followup. It's not
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: a problem. But if it was toxic and you did
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: some shit that really broke me, you have no accent
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: except for cash.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: Apps, still a stepping those zails.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: You can't even can you block people on cash app? Yeah?
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: You can?
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: You can't walk never Why would I do suggest that
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: it's a dumb feature.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: It's a broke ass future feature. Over exposure to content,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: people may unfollow when the content becomes repetitive or overbearing. Overposting,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: especially on topics like fitness, politics, or personal achievements, can
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: lead to content fatigue, where followers lose interest or become annoyed.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: So at one point, I was following a lot of
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: different fitness pages. But what I've started doing is just
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: saving a post from that person's page instead of following.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: So now if I want to go to they page,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: I can just go to my save shit and go
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: to their page, because I might. I don't want to
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: see that every day all day, if that is the
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: main thing that person does on social media. I don't
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: really want twenty fitness bitches on my timeline.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: I don't. I love the fitness bitches on my timeline.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: I got the the ones I like, and then I
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: see other people like who may have like a low
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: routine I want to try or something like that I
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: wouldn't necessarily follow. I'll just save it second, go back
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: and visit it.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah that makes sense.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: Yeah, so I have like my bitches like Chanelle. I
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: love watch that bitch.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: Okay, we gotta stop calling women bitches so much.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Oh like that girl, Chanel. I love to see that bitch. Ye,
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: she's so fine. Cognitive dissonance when someone posts content that
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: goes against the followers believes values or lifestyle, it can
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: create this comfort. Unfollowing can resolve this dissonance by eliminating
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: the exposure to these conflicting ideas. I like learning new
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: shit rather I agree with it or not, So when
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: I see something, I'll go look it up. I'll never
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: have cognitive dissonance like I be wanting to know shityeh
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: me too.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: I'm open to the opinions of others, you know where
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: you know, I'm not one of those people who typically
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: get mad at someone else's opinion as long as they're
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: not condescending to mine, you know.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: Right, You know, I just realized I did recently unfollow
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: somebody that I haven't following for a long time. And
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: I don't really know why. I just felt like and
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: it could be a thing where I just outgrew their content.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Really and it's like mm, because this next one says,
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: did I skip it? Is that cognitive dissonance over exposure
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: to content like okay, it's enough. I'll check you out
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: some other time, and I probably I've been following that
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: person for a long time. This next next one says uh,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: fomo fear of missing out reversal. It actually says fomo reversal.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Initial Social media amplifies fomo. You know what that is?
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Fair of missing out? Yeah, by keeping people connected to
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: a wide array of experiences. But over time, some users
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: find that constantly seeing that others, seeing what others are
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: doing triggers FOMO too often leading them to unfollow people
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: who post it exacerbate that feeling. Who's post exacerbates that feeling.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: In many cases, the act of unasturbate bit and step
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: let me get sorry, friend girl. In many cases, the
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: act of unfalling is a subtle, silent action to maintain
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: one's mental health, social standing, or personal preferences, with deeper
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: psychological motivations lurking behind the seemingly simple act. So that
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: friend who feel like y'all will never invite her out nowhere,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: she might unfollow all y'all ass, I don't want to
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: see these bitches outside.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: Every time, and I ain't get to invite. But here's
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: the thing, don't be the bitch because I am. I have.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: Don't be the girl who never says yes to an
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: invite and then get mad when the invites stopped coming.
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: I have definitely been that girl. Don't never say yes.
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: I always staying in like, oh no, I don't want
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: to tell that I'm tired. I'm tired. And then when
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: they don't invite you, you gotta show up, right, you
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: gotta show up.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: My problem is I just need a week in advanced notice, Like,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: don't be telling me bout some shit two days before,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: because I have to mentally prepare to leave my house.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: I be comfortable, Like so now I got to put
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: clothes on it and do my hair and like put
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: a little eyeliner on it to go outside. I don't
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: feel like it all the time.
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: Yeah, if you tell me a day before you didn't
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: want me to come, that's how I feel, right. Sit,
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: you tell me the week of, Like I need to
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: know the week before, so at least by the friday
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: of the week before, what you need me to do
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: the following friday?
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: The seven days? Notice, this is what I need. Don't
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: get me no a couple of days. Notice my homegirl,
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: she know better, she'd be like I'm telling you now
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: put layer clothes out today because I really got to
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: get people not prepared, mentally prepared, because I will cancel. Bitch.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: Oh I love a bitch to cancel. I love if
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: somebody say, oh, I'm going again, Thank God.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: That's me. I'm a kid. I'm like, I'll be. I
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: can be hyped about something and then on the day
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: of it's like, there is a new show that dropped
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: on Netflix today that looks very good. I can just
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: roll a joint and watch this and just be content.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: So those were I think those were Those were things
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: like more so for like people we don't know, so
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: what happens like with the friends unfollowing and shit like that.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: So this one says. Unfollowing friends on social media adds
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: a layer of complexity because the decision might have personal, social,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: and emotional consequences. While unfollowing strangers or acquaintances can feel
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: relatively straightforward, unfollowing a close friend can lead to feelings
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: of guilt, anxiety, or even damage to the friendship. Here
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: are the psychological factors behind unfollowing real life friends, so
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: managing emotional triggers. So friends might post content that despite
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: the close relationship triggers negative emotions, such as jealousy and
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: security or frustration. That's your friend is that you can
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: be Even though there's a bond outside of social media,
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: their online presence may create emotional stress. For example, seeing
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: friends on lavish vacations, celebrating milestones or flaunting success could
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: lead to feelings of an adequacy or social comparison, making
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: unfollowing a way to protect emotional well being. Again, I'm
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: not unfollowing my friend because they're doing well.
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: Yeah, no, that sounds weird to me. To unfollow your
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: friend because they're doing well is because you need to
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: do something.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: And here's the part. Here's the part that irks my
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: nerves even thinking about realizing a close friend unfollows you.
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: You ask them why they did it. How do they
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: even explain that? I can only imagine a bit trying
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: to make you the problem, which points to them not
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: really being your friend, because explain to me why you
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: one follows me? Because an adult, they're not going to
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: be able to say that. They're not going to be
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: able to say because you be on trips and shit
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: and I ain't going on trips like they will create
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: another reason in their minds that justify like how they're
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: feeling other than it just being like a projection.
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I couldn't see myself like saying like, hey, you know,
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: it's not because we're not friends. I'm just not in
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: a good space and seeing you so happy makes it
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: harder for me.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what it sounds like. And so as the
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: the friend who's having this lit social life, how do
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: you take that? Right, because it's a thin line between
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: love and heat.
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: I don't know how how I could accept that, Like,
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: I don't know what to do with that information, Like,
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: so are we still friends, right? Because I'm not gonna
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: not be happy to make you happy.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: Right, So either mute or unfollow. So even muting your
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: friend is just weird to me.
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: But I mean I've had friends, I mean we all
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: go through highs and lows, right, I've had friends that
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: when some good things were happening for me, they didn't
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: have the excitement that I thought they would for me.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: But I didn't take it personal because I knew what
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: was going on in their own life, right, And it's
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: hard sometimes to be happy for someone when your shit
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: fucked up, you know, as happy as you would like
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: to be, I don't know, and I wouldn't take it personal.
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: I didn't take it personal.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: You sure, bitch, you sure you ain't take it personal.
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: No, I didn't take it personal. I mean I saw
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: it it did you know? It didn't feel good because
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: I want the people I love most to be like
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: celebrate my wins, you know. But I had to like
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: take a step back and look like, well, she got
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: this going on, and this going on, and this's going
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: on right now. I can't expect her to be outside
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: doing cartwheels for me right now, right, you know.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: But see that's where like doing cartwheels, that's how you
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: receive your blessings, right, doing cartwheels when somebody else is
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: doing well, Well, give you like that if you need
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: to push forward to me.
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: For me, Yeah, but only if the cartwheels are real.
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: If you faking them, then you just gonna probably feel worse.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. Like I wouldn't be faking the cartwheels.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: They would be genuine cart wheels because my people's is winning,
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: so I'm next in line, would be my thought process.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: It would never be like I'm going to be in
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: this downstate.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: Right. Everybody don't think like that, you know, when when
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: they're in the thick of their valley, it's hard. Sometimes
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: it's hard to see this sun. Like, so I get
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: people grace with that, because some people like this totally
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: would totally discard a person for not she haters, she ain't.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Show up, she don't like my posts. That's another one.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: People be like, you don't like my posts, like maybe
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: I didn't even see it. Maybe it didn't even come
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: on my time. Your ship hardy comes up on my
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: timeline right or even like you know what I'm saying,
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: like at the top, like story stuff, your thing don't
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: be first. Yeah, so sometimes you miss people's things.
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: I rarely see yours, and I just assume that you
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: don't be posting.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: I posted my story every day almost some days I like, yeah,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: I don't even see it, but it won't be like
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: a whole I used to post a lot of shit
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: on my story. It's not as much as it used
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: to be, but yeah, I post something something.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: On it in each other the algorithm. Maybe because I
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: don't follow you this.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: Exactly, bitch. We fell out. We fell out real life
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: and on the internet.
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: Protecting friendships, Sometimes people unfollow real life friends to preserve
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: the friendship that ain't what happened to. If a friend
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: constantly posts advice of annoying or controversial content that may
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: lead to conflicts or resentment, unfalling conserve as a way
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: to maintain harmony. By creating distance online, a person avoids
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: unnecessary tension, ensuring that in person relationship isn't negatively affected.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: That's weird. Like, I'm following on social media and I'm
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: gonna still go out to lunch with you. No, Like,
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: as much as people like don't want to admit it,
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: this is our lives now. Social media is a part
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: of our life.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: Well, I know couples that don't follow each other on
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: social media for that same reason, though.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: I think that's different though couples versus like friendships. No,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: it's not, I think, girl, I'm not sucking your dead girl.
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: I don't have no dig to un I don't want
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: you to see what other negative I might be talking
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: to on Instagram. I have a friend on social media
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: who is one of my real friends. He's a guy,
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: but his the stuff that he sends me pisses me
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: the fuck off, Like, and I have to say, don't
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: send me.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: Are we the same? Is it the same? Friend.
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: Yeah, Okay, the content he sends me and it just
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: irks me, it gives me an it. I don't like it,
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: but I love him, so I have to tell him
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: I haven't unfollowed him.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: But even if you unfollow, he'll stow you send you
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: those things. You'd have to block him to not receive
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: those things, and he'll probably take them to you at
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: that point. Right, if that nigga is a nut job,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: shout out to that nigga.
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: Hell love him to death. But the content he shares
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: does get on my fucking up, So I understand what
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: they're saying. Like, to create healthy boundaries in the friendship,
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: sometimes you gotta do it.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not gonna go through all of these, but
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: I do want to hit this one. This last one.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Different social media personalities. This is weird to me. It
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: says many people behave differently on social media than they
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: do in real life. A friend may post in a
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: way that feels inauthentic, excessive, or self centered, which could
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: clash with how they act face to face. Unfallen can
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: be a way of acknowledging that the online version of
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: a friend isn't someone you enjoy engaging. Engaging with even
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: though the in person version is someone you care about. See,
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: I'm the same person like online the in real life
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: me too.
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: You get what you get. But I know people like that, well.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: Yes, like who the fuck are you? Like, I didn't
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: realize you had mental health issues and so on social media?
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: Right, but you know what people deal everybody dealing with something.
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: That's the thing. I know somebody likes so judging of
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: people on social media and just be running people down
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: and tearing it like they just.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: Meaning, somebody just sent me that person's screenshot, a screenshot
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: from that person's page and was like, look at your friend,
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: like that isn't not my fucking friend. Know exactly who
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: you're talking about.
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: But in person, they'll give you the shirt off their back,
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: you know, like they're that person is just like a
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: doctor Jeko mister Hyde thing, and.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: That needs to be studied because so is that like
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: really people already in the matrix like there being someone
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: else like that's their surrogate online that strangers get to meet. Meanwhile,
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: they just somebody totally different in person.
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I've seen it more than once. Then I also
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: know another girl who like her house is so filthy, right,
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: But she got a clean spot in there, and that's
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: what shit brouh cleaning shit up bruh yo. You would
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: never know.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: So you really consciously choosing to be nasty, because if
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: your internet life is cleaner than your real life, that
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: is wild.
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: You just find a clean spot in post.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: Because I'm a bit you'd be studying the background, like, oh,
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: I see that, Like why your cabinet a toilet back there?
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: Let a niggaposted a selfie in a bathroom. Who pink toothbrush?
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: Is that nigga? That toothbrush look old too? You don't
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: supposed to change that shit every two three months, Like
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: bristles are chewed up, so good shame. So I don't know.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: People are weird. We're living in a were living in
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: real weird times. And I guess whatever you think you
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: need to do to cater to your your best mental health.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: But I think some of these things are actually mental
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: health issues, you know what I'm saying, Like like some
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: of the projection, like you feel in a way about
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: somebody they don't even know, right, they don't even know,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: So unfollowing them isn't remedying the problem that you actually have.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: Your problem is comparison, right, how do you get out
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: of that state.
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: When you Yeah, I'm gonna do it, though, I will
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: mute you if I feel like even a twinge of
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: some jealousy or hate trying to like exist in my spirit,
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: I will mute because I don't want that for me,
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: and I don't want that for you.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: You know, so a lot of but that's what I'm saying,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: like people have to explore and I'm not. Maybe I
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: don't know it's hate a natural because it's not nat.
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: Jealousy and hate, yeah, but they are natural emotions. They
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: are normal emotions. You know, it happens, you know, it does,
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: and that's so the thing you cannot envy. I think
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: sometimes envy has a dark something behind it, Yeah, because
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: when you I think, when you envy somebody, it's like
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: why do they have this? They shouldn't have it and
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: I should, you know. But if you're jealous, I think
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: that's natural, Like you can be jealous or something because
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: you it's something that you want also for your life
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: and this person has it, you know, and not saying
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: that they shouldn't have it too. H It's I don't know,
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: I don't.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: Mean it's too close like it's too close for me.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: So I just I feel good when people are doing good.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: And I also know this is social media. You don't
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: know what the fuck is going on that person's real life,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: you see. Yeah, so I'm gonna be You've You've conjured
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: up these feelings and emotions about some ship that's probably
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: not even real.
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: They're probably jealous.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: I just told you who I'm jealous of. I hate
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: to see a nigga brokerage account balance because that is
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: something I'm very out. Other than that, I don't care.
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: I was just jealous of one of my friends. But
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: I told her to her face, I'm jealous. I want to.
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: I don't want no burking and not they don't look nice.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: It's a social a status of a particular like social status, right.
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, like bitch, ain't got your whole month ring, your.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: Whole month ring? No, no that we'th thirty five forty
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: thousand dollars, bitch my rent.
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: Your whole thousand, I mean your whole salary for the
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: year on my ring?
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: Is it a real burking?
- 1:22:37Speaker 3: Though?
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: It is jealous? I don't know to this day, if
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: you're listening, bitch to this day.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not real materialistic like that. So like the
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: burking way make me feel no type of way. Now
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: I've seen a bitch hopping on planes and traveling every
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: which you weigh like that, I'd be like, damn, man,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: I gotta get my stamps up up you know.
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: Oh no, I love that.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: Yeah. I want to see the world and ship like that.
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: I want to hop on uh you know, I don't
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: been on plenty yachts. I want to get on some
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: more or just more frequent. I want to do things
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: more frequently. Yes, but I also know bitches be going
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: to the airport just to take pictures on those planes
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: on a private plane, not really ever taking out.
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: I want real I want real life ship.
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: I don't want to And a lot of people spend
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: a lot of money to look like things on social media.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, they say.
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: I have a one of my clients has a plane
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: and she makes a lot of money just renting it
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: for pictures.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: That's weird, Like that's really faking it until you make it.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: I don't want to do that.
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: I'm my pictures would look so sad, like why are
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: you crying?
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: Because I.
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: Don't know.
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: But that's what we had in that man you got
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: to get you got to get your social up when
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: elsee guy, Yeah yeah, you you sent me two other
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: damn things. You ain't talk about none of them things.
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: Oh we already had an hour and we did thirty
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: minutes of seeing.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: All right, anyway, block that bitch if you need to,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: excuse me, block that woman if you need to. This
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: is my last last. Block whoever you need to unfollow
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: who you need to, but make sure it is not projection.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: I don't know how you want to check that, but
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: make sure you're not doing it from a place.
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: Of like alice.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I agree, Yeah, because then that you need
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: you're not going to remedy the issue by unfollowing this person.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: They're actually not the problem.
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: So yeah, my last last don't have nothing to do
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: with the topic. It's just gonna be just be good
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: and kind to each other and kind to yourself. Boom,
