- 0:01Speaker 1: You're listening to Bill Handle on demand from KFI AM
- 0:05Speaker 1: six forty.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Apparently seventy percent of them are ground nesting bees.
- 0:17Speaker 3: They burrow in the.
- 0:18Speaker 4: Ground and they walk, which is where we got to
- 0:21Speaker 4: phrase the bees needs no. I don't think that's right.
- 0:26Speaker 5: Huh.
- 0:28Speaker 4: Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't.

- 3:39Speaker 2: come out to this.
- 3:39Speaker 4: One, okay. And people can donate. How many people donate

- 3:49Speaker 2: just click on the website.
- 3:50Speaker 3: But sure, bring your cash, we'll take.
- 3:52Speaker 4: It, okay, fair enough? And I did give yes, I did,
- 3:56Speaker 4: and you will, all right. And I do it anonymously,
- 3:59Speaker 4: so no one knows that I did it, even though
- 4:01Speaker 4: I did do it. That's where that goes. And the
- 4:04Speaker 4: other thing I want to announce is Monday. You'll notice
- 4:09Speaker 4: that Amy is off and I am off because Amy
- 4:12Speaker 4: is taking me to Disneyland and I am. I have
- 4:16Speaker 4: to tell you, I'm genuinely excited about this, and it's
- 4:19Speaker 4: not easy for me to get excited. Yeah, when my
- 4:23Speaker 4: kids were born it was okay. And when I was
- 4:26Speaker 4: when I got married a couple of times, that was
- 4:29Speaker 4: a genuine men. But Disneyland is going to be fun.
- 4:34Speaker 4: I haven't gone for years and years and years.
- 4:39Speaker 5: I was there yesterday. It's great, you're gonna have fun.
- 4:42Speaker 4: And Amy went on video it too, right, We're getting
- 4:45Speaker 4: part of it and put it up on the website. Sure,
- 4:47Speaker 4: it's gonna be a lot of fun. Are you gonna
- 4:49Speaker 4: get him ears? Oh yeah, I'm taking my daughter and
- 4:55Speaker 4: her new boyfriend from Scotland and they do you go
- 5:01Speaker 4: through a metal detector. Now when you go to this vents.
- 5:04Speaker 5: You do.
- 5:05Speaker 4: He's going to have problems because he is so pierce
- 5:09Speaker 4: that his head is going to stretch from one end
- 5:13Speaker 4: to the other. You'll see his ears. He'll have Mickey
- 5:15Speaker 4: Mouse ears without buying Mickey Mouse ears.
- 5:19Speaker 5: You know, the great thing for you, Bill is once
- 5:22Speaker 5: you leave the park, pull the ears off and you
- 5:24Speaker 5: have a Yamaica.
- 5:25Speaker 4: Okay, well said, yeah, or I can be Pope one
- 5:29Speaker 4: or the other.
- 5:29Speaker 5: Very versatile headwear.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah. You know when I do passovers, I have
- 5:34Speaker 4: a Yamica with a propeller on it and it makes
- 5:38Speaker 4: for a religious experience, to say the least. Okay, are
- 5:41Speaker 4: you guys ready to do it? It is time for Handle
- 5:44Speaker 4: on the news with Amy Neil and me lead story.
- 5:51Speaker 4: There is a cease fire going on in Lebanon is
- 5:53Speaker 4: ten days. The Lebanese government has signed on. The big
- 5:59Speaker 4: issue is does hez Blad do? I think they're part
- 6:01Speaker 4: of the ceasefire right now, but the government of Lebanon
- 6:04Speaker 4: does not control Hesblah. I mean this war is really
- 6:09Speaker 4: has Blah and Israel and so the peace deal with Iran.
- 6:17Speaker 4: That's one of the sticking points for Iran that Israel
- 6:20Speaker 4: has to stop its attack on Lebanon. So there are
- 6:24Speaker 4: some sticking points that have yet to be worked out,
- 6:28Speaker 4: but at least the parties are talking.
- 6:32Speaker 2: And arrest months and months in the making. Singer David
- 6:36Speaker 2: has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
- 6:40Speaker 3: You'll remember.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Body parts of a fourteen year old girl were found
- 6:47Speaker 2: inside the trunk of his tesla in Hollywood. You'll remember
- 6:51Speaker 2: they were found in a tow yard. The card been
- 6:54Speaker 2: abandoned in the Hollywood Hills. Well, David Anthony Burke is
- 6:58Speaker 2: singer David's real name. He's twenty one years old, and
- 7:01Speaker 2: he was arrested and is being held now without bail.
- 7:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:05Speaker 4: When the story first came out, we all thought it
- 7:07Speaker 4: was pretty hinky. Yeah, it was just a little weird
- 7:10Speaker 4: dead body car, his car, a couple of blocks up
- 7:14Speaker 4: the street. Yeah, and the authorities, as Amy just said,
- 7:20Speaker 4: months in the making. I mean, they really investigated this
- 7:23Speaker 4: one before filing the charges.
- 7:25Speaker 5: But you remember how his attorney came out and said
- 7:28Speaker 5: that he was cooperating, and the police later came out
- 7:30Speaker 5: and said, no, no, he wasn't. He was never cooperating.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Well, it depends on how you define cooperating. Defendants usually
- 7:39Speaker 4: define defined cooperating where I'm not saying a word. I
- 7:43Speaker 4: need a lawyer.
- 7:44Speaker 5: Yeah, all right, former Virginia Lieutenant governor, this is a
- 7:51Speaker 5: nut story. Justin Fairfax. Once this Democratic Party rising star,
- 8:01Speaker 5: he had these sexual assault allegations. Well, apparently he shot
- 8:05Speaker 5: and killed his wife inside their home and then killed himself. Sadly,
- 8:11Speaker 5: the couple's two teenage children were inside the home during
- 8:14Speaker 5: the shootings, and the son I guess placed to one
- 8:18Speaker 5: of the son's placed the nine to one one call.
- 8:22Speaker 5: This seems to have stemmed from an ongoing domestic that's
- 8:26Speaker 5: sad dispute surrounding a very complicated or messy divorce.
- 8:32Speaker 4: Those kids became orphans in a second. Yeah, they always say. Unfortunately,
- 8:37Speaker 4: these murder suicides, the killer always somehow mixes up the
- 8:46Speaker 4: order ards people should be shot. Yeah, now kill yourself
- 8:49Speaker 4: and then we get it.
- 8:51Speaker 5: To be so angry or so demented to leave your
- 8:55Speaker 5: kids that way is beyond me.
- 8:57Speaker 4: Well, they were in the middle of a custody fight.
- 8:59Speaker 4: They were living in close together. Take yourself out, separate yeah,
- 9:02Speaker 4: and separate bedrooms. Pretty insane. Uh. Iran just announced that
- 9:08Speaker 4: the Strait of Horror Moves is completely open to commercial shipping.
- 9:14Speaker 4: And it looks like iran Is has blinked on this one.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Looks like they're coming to the table at least on
- 9:21Speaker 4: this one. That's the announcement. Although I'm looking at a
- 9:23Speaker 4: map and the ships, well, it's a little early for
- 9:26Speaker 4: the ships to transit the Strait of Horror moves.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Having this the ceasefire in place between Lebanon and Yes,
- 9:37Speaker 2: that was the one of Iran's demands that the ceasefire
- 9:43Speaker 2: there be, that there be a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbola,
- 9:47Speaker 2: and that was apparently a sticking point for them, and
- 9:49Speaker 2: they're saying now that there is that ceasefire in place,
- 9:52Speaker 2: they'll open the street.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Yeah, and the ceasefire between Lebanon and the and the
- 9:58Speaker 4: Israel and the Israelis and Israel a lot of pressure
- 10:01Speaker 4: from President Trump because he's obviously doing everything he can
- 10:06Speaker 4: to make this thing happen. This piece deal happened after
- 10:11Speaker 4: making the decision to do the attack. Now he's going
- 10:13Speaker 4: the other way and it's probably the big player in
- 10:16Speaker 4: terms of getting this moving again. But we'll see if
- 10:20Speaker 4: the international shipping are and this is only during the ceasefire,
- 10:25Speaker 4: and is that going to be expanded. My guess is
- 10:27Speaker 4: yes it is, And now we're going to see shipping.
- 10:30Speaker 4: Oil has already dropped ten percent ten percent per barrel,
- 10:35Speaker 4: so that has decreased rather dramatically. Although the experts are
- 10:39Speaker 4: saying that oil the price of oil prior to the
- 10:43Speaker 4: invasion or the attack on Iran is not going to
- 10:47Speaker 4: go down to where it was for a year or
- 10:51Speaker 4: two if ever. But great news on the strait being opened,
- 10:56Speaker 4: and we'll see how much shipping goes through because these ships,
- 11:00Speaker 4: this could turn around in a minute, and ships tend
- 11:03Speaker 4: to disappear when they're attacked by drones. They don't do well.
- 11:07Speaker 5: You know what they say, Iaco, Iran always chickens out there.
- 11:15Speaker 4: You are very well said, Okay. Moving on amy.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Massive payout. A federal jury has awarded nearly twelve million
- 11:29Speaker 2: dollars to an LA Dodgers fan who got shot by
- 11:33Speaker 2: a projectile by LAPD during World Series celebrations in downtown
- 11:40Speaker 2: LA in twenty twenty. His name is Isaac Castellanos. He
- 11:44Speaker 2: sued alleging excessive force. He was twenty two at the time.
- 11:49Speaker 2: He said he was peacefully celebrating the Dodgers win near
- 11:53Speaker 2: Crypto dot Com Arena at about one am October twenty eighth,
- 11:57Speaker 2: twenty twenty, when officers moved in on the crowd and
- 12:00Speaker 2: he was shot with a less than lethal round.
- 12:03Speaker 4: Yeah, but he got it in the eye.
- 12:05Speaker 3: He got it in the eye and he's blinded. In
- 12:06Speaker 3: one eye.
- 12:07Speaker 4: Yeah, hey, but he's blind in one eye, Okay, not
- 12:10Speaker 4: both eyes. I can say this is a very pretty
- 12:12Speaker 4: big award. And also he could get triple award under
- 12:17Speaker 4: the law. He could actually get over thirty million dollars.
- 12:20Speaker 4: I mean, they'll be they're going to ask for a
- 12:22Speaker 4: lower award, which is going to happen. But eleven million
- 12:25Speaker 4: dollars plus a seeing eye dog, by the way, included
- 12:28Speaker 4: in the package.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Does he only need half of a dog?
- 12:31Speaker 4: That's correct, he only needs half a dog. Or how
- 12:34Speaker 4: about this a seeing eye dog with only one eye.
- 12:37Speaker 4: There's a lot of different ways to go on this way.
- 12:40Speaker 5: Put a patch on one eye?
- 12:41Speaker 4: Yeah, could you imagine a dog with a patch on
- 12:44Speaker 4: one eye? I could, It's not that how do you
- 12:47Speaker 4: say or when you buy? When you bow wow? And
- 12:50Speaker 4: I don't know. So anyway, he got a huge award.
- 12:54Speaker 4: It's very difficult when you go in front of the
- 12:56Speaker 4: cops to not get an award. People are not particularly
- 12:59Speaker 4: pro cops these days, which is why the majority of
- 13:01Speaker 4: these things settle up.
- 13:02Speaker 5: Well, it probably stems stems from the fact that our
- 13:06Speaker 5: government leaders here in Los Angeles called them murderers. But
- 13:10Speaker 5: you know, all right, Amazon employee. Can you imagine having
- 13:15Speaker 5: to work around handles dead body? So Amazon workers in
- 13:20Speaker 5: Oregon alleged that the company told them to continue to
- 13:23Speaker 5: work around an employee, a forty six year old worker
- 13:27Speaker 5: who collapsed and died on a second level of an
- 13:30Speaker 5: Amazon warehouse. The title name, the job title is tote runner.
- 13:36Speaker 5: I guess they have these big, huge yellow totes, yellow
- 13:39Speaker 5: plastic bins and the person stacks them then moves them
- 13:42Speaker 5: out of the floor. It's part of the process of
- 13:45Speaker 5: keeping things going, you know. So an employee called for
- 13:49Speaker 5: the ambulance told the spit dispatcher, we have an associate
- 13:53Speaker 5: here who I believe is probably dead. This person does
- 13:58Speaker 5: have extensive blood coming from their head. They are very
- 14:02Speaker 5: blue looking. Nice.
- 14:03Speaker 4: Yeah, but the person, Yeah, the person on Amazon who
- 14:06Speaker 4: ordered the dead body got it pretty quickly.
- 14:09Speaker 5: Which it doesn't say that it was packaged or I
- 14:13Speaker 5: think it was someone who worked there. Oh don't know
- 14:16Speaker 5: how they died, however.
- 14:20Speaker 4: Walk around, walk around the person.
- 14:22Speaker 5: Well what do you do do you close it off
- 14:25Speaker 5: so people can't see and then get I mean you
- 14:28Speaker 5: would think so you're not gonna shut down the whole warehouse.
- 14:31Speaker 4: No, but you would shut down that area. You would
- 14:33Speaker 4: think you would think, I mean even but people get pissed.
- 14:39Speaker 4: But people get really angry if Amazon promises the same
- 14:41Speaker 4: day delivery. You you know, no, no, it doesn't matter.
- 14:45Speaker 4: No snow, no sleet, nor dead bodies get in the
- 14:49Speaker 4: way of Amazon deliveries.
- 14:51Speaker 5: I guess, so doesn't say how this happened. I mean,
- 14:55Speaker 5: it's not like if it was an accident where you know,
- 15:00Speaker 5: the machinery, you'd think they'd shut down. But otherwise so
- 15:04Speaker 5: much go on.
- 15:04Speaker 3: I guess where are all the kids.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Schools in La County and especially in the La Unified
- 15:12Speaker 2: School District, are seeing the steepest decline in enrollment in California.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Across the state, enrollment dropped by one point three percent.
- 15:20Speaker 2: That's about seventy five thousand students in the last year.
- 15:23Speaker 2: The data shows that some California families are relocating to
- 15:26Speaker 2: less expensive suburban communities. Statewide figures correlate to declining birth
- 15:32Speaker 2: rates nationwide, and then in La County, things like housing costs,
- 15:36Speaker 2: a decline in immigration, and aggressive federal efforts to deport
- 15:40Speaker 2: undocumented immigrants are also factors.
- 15:43Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, you put them all together, and that
- 15:45Speaker 4: makes sense. I'm surprised it was only those numbers. And
- 15:49Speaker 4: I've been saying for years that undocumented kids go to school,
- 15:55Speaker 4: and when the parents can't afford to live here or
- 15:58Speaker 4: they're deported, it's not easy, and they drop out of school.
- 16:04Speaker 4: I mean they are going to school someplace else. So
- 16:07Speaker 4: you guess what you're going to see a decline in school.
- 16:11Speaker 4: And there are some schools that are empty, and they're
- 16:15Speaker 4: consolidating schools at LAUSD, and they have these extra buildings
- 16:19Speaker 4: now that you'll be seeing that are going to be sold.
- 16:23Speaker 5: All right. Moving on, Spirit Airlines, known for its high
- 16:27Speaker 5: quality experience, reportedly on the Verge, is shutting down as
- 16:31Speaker 5: the company struggles to recover from bankruptcy. Obviously right now,
- 16:36Speaker 5: you throw on top of that fuel costs and you
- 16:39Speaker 5: create a very difficult situation. And there was a report
- 16:43Speaker 5: from Bloomberg that the airline could liquidate as soon as
- 16:47Speaker 5: this week. I mean, we're coming to the end of
- 16:49Speaker 5: it today.
- 16:50Speaker 4: So good. It looks like it's going to go through
- 16:53Speaker 4: bankruptcy now. The lawyers are having a hard time coming
- 16:57Speaker 4: in because they're charge for the briefcases that are coming
- 17:02Speaker 4: into court.
- 17:04Speaker 5: Oh boy, way them.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Okay, Hail to the new chief. President Trump has nominated
- 17:13Speaker 2: doctor Erica Schwartz as the next director of the Centers
- 17:17Speaker 2: for Disease Control and Prevention. The CITYC hasn't had a
- 17:22Speaker 2: confirmed leader except for during one month of Trump's second term,
- 17:28Speaker 2: so he's finally nominated somebody. She was his deputy surgeon
- 17:32Speaker 2: general during his first administration. She graduated from Brown University
- 17:38Speaker 2: and served as a doctor in the military. Trump posted
- 17:41Speaker 2: on true Socials she is a star.
- 17:44Speaker 4: Okay, Well, of course you would say that. Also, he
- 17:47Speaker 4: named a few other high end CDC executives, Sean Slovensky
- 17:54Speaker 4: as deputy director, former greeter at Walmart, and he also
- 18:00Speaker 4: named the Texas Health Commissioner an FDA administrator.
- 18:09Speaker 5: Excellent, yes, all right. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Junior
- 18:17Speaker 5: not much of a change, getting criticism from Democrats over
- 18:22Speaker 5: his vaccine policy and overhaul of the federal health agencies
- 18:26Speaker 5: at two House committee hearings just yesterday. Both hearings were
- 18:30Speaker 5: about to propose budget for the Department of Health and
- 18:33Speaker 5: Human Services for next year. Now, the department's funding request
- 18:37Speaker 5: includes a fifteen point eight billion reduction from this year,
- 18:42Speaker 5: for a total of one hundred and eleven point one billion,
- 18:46Speaker 5: but he intends to consolidate some agencies and the like.
- 18:50Speaker 4: Yeah, he fired a lot of people, fired a lot
- 18:53Speaker 4: of people, change the CDC recommendations, and he got nailed
- 18:57Speaker 4: for that, about his position on vaccines, about his the
- 19:03Speaker 4: tile in all connection to autism, which makes him look
- 19:06Speaker 4: pretty stupid, which it is, and so it's going to happen.
- 19:13Speaker 4: I've always thought the big question with Robert F. Kennedy
- 19:16Speaker 4: is that he was confirmed by one vote, and that's
- 19:20Speaker 4: Bill Cassidy, a Senator from Louisiana adopt a physician who
- 19:26Speaker 4: ran a vaccine program in Louisiana, and Kennedy said, I
- 19:31Speaker 4: will not change the vaccine program. I believe in vaccines,
- 19:37Speaker 4: and sure that worked out. I wonder what Cassidy is thinking, guys, Well,
- 19:43Speaker 4: just okay, moving on, some.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Of the big beautiful ballroom can be built. A federal
- 19:51Speaker 2: judge set some new limits on the construction that could
- 19:56Speaker 2: proceed on the ninety thousand square foot ballroom. The judge
- 20:02Speaker 2: said that they could do the construction on the underground
- 20:06Speaker 2: part of the project that's deemed necessary by the military,
- 20:10Speaker 2: but not the above ground. Addition that Trump is planning
- 20:15Speaker 2: the order or the judge US District Judge Richard Leon
- 20:19Speaker 2: said he has to get congressional approval to do the
- 20:22Speaker 2: above ground part, and said that Trump administration was chastised
- 20:28Speaker 2: where it's incredible, if not disingenuous, interpretation of his order
- 20:32Speaker 2: last month to halt work on the ballroom.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Well, look, the judge ordered, you got to stop based
- 20:38Speaker 4: on the fact that Trump's argument that the building of
- 20:42Speaker 4: the ballroom is a national security issue. And what the
- 20:46Speaker 4: judge said, I understand that below ground, where you have
- 20:51Speaker 4: various offices and places where security is deemed, we have
- 20:56Speaker 4: a situation room, you have planning centers. I got that.
- 21:00Speaker 4: But you can't argue that based on national security the
- 21:03Speaker 4: ballroom above can be built. The two really don't connect.
- 21:08Speaker 4: So he stopped it because if and I don't even
- 21:11Speaker 4: know why Trump didn't go in front of Congress, he
- 21:13Speaker 4: would have gotten the OKA anyway, So why bother. It's
- 21:18Speaker 4: almost one of those I'm going to do what I
- 21:19Speaker 4: want even though I need approval. I'm going to get approval.
- 21:23Speaker 4: I don't care. I'm going to do a story at
- 21:27Speaker 4: seven twenty about the arch that's a coming. And this
- 21:33Speaker 4: is a great story. And by the way, a couple
- 21:35Speaker 4: of personal stories incorporating that. I'll share that with you
- 21:40Speaker 4: and I well you'll hear at seven twenty. I think
- 21:43Speaker 4: it's going to be worth hearing, at least in my opinion,
- 21:46Speaker 4: probably not yours, certainly not anybody else on this team. Now,
- 21:51Speaker 4: let's finish it up. Handle on the news with Amy,
- 21:54Speaker 4: Neil and me.
- 21:56Speaker 5: Yeah. So you know, you move the chessboard around and
- 21:59Speaker 5: all all kinds of things can change. Congressman Eric Swalwell,
- 22:04Speaker 5: as we know, had an abrupt departure from the race
- 22:07Speaker 5: for California governor, and boy has it changed the field.
- 22:12Speaker 5: The new poll placing two Republicans at the top alongside
- 22:16Speaker 5: one Democrat, a couple of long shot candidates that you
- 22:22Speaker 5: didn't really have a prayer or seeing their chances improve.
- 22:26Speaker 5: So Emerson College polling on the fourteenth and fifteenth show
- 22:31Speaker 5: conservative commentator Steve Hilton leading all candidates with seventeen percent,
- 22:37Speaker 5: followed by Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco, also a Republican,
- 22:43Speaker 5: at the top.
- 22:43Speaker 4: There this could be a mess, And what might happen
- 22:47Speaker 4: is two Republicans are going to be in the general
- 22:51Speaker 4: election because there's so many congress people that are run
- 22:53Speaker 4: or there are so many Democrats that are running that
- 22:57Speaker 4: they are probably going to cannibalize each other, which leaves
- 23:01Speaker 4: the Republican fewer Republicans going after well, fewer people voting
- 23:07Speaker 4: for fewer Republicans, or more people voting for fewer Republicans,
- 23:11Speaker 4: or Republicans getting more votes because the other side is cannibalized.
- 23:16Speaker 4: I'll figure it out during no I'll figure it out.
- 23:19Speaker 4: I'll do the chart during the break. And Via Goosa
- 23:23Speaker 4: is one of them, and John this afternoon is going
- 23:27Speaker 4: to be interviewing Fierra Gosa for an hour.
- 23:31Speaker 5: Yeah, I wonder if they're gonna compare tattoos.
- 23:35Speaker 4: That could happen, and there's gonna be it's gonna be
- 23:39Speaker 4: in front of a live audience. A lot of them
- 23:41Speaker 4: be late because driving they'll be running into potholes, of course,
- 23:45Speaker 4: but we'll see this afternoon. I thought, yeah, yeah, we
- 23:50Speaker 4: had a million of them, right, and he solved that.
- 23:53Speaker 5: Okay.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Mayor Bass News, Yeah, she's got a new plan to
- 23:56Speaker 2: save the planet. The mayor has released a climate action plan.
- 24:02Speaker 2: It calls for doubling local solar power, reducing the use
- 24:06Speaker 2: of oil and gas in buildings and on city buses.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Outlines how the city intends to reduce emissions of greenhouse
- 24:13Speaker 2: gases at the Port of Los Angeles and at LAX,
- 24:16Speaker 2: sets targets for reducing water use, addresses risks from extreme heat,
- 24:22Speaker 2: Expands parks and green spaces that will help cool neighborhoods
- 24:26Speaker 2: and restore national natural habitat.
- 24:30Speaker 4: How many people you think buy into this, that take
- 24:34Speaker 4: this seriously or this or assume this is simply a
- 24:38Speaker 4: just a political statement.
- 24:43Speaker 5: If you're that concerned about these issues, and they're your
- 24:46Speaker 5: number one issue, then you care. That's true. If you
- 24:49Speaker 5: want your city to run, then you don't care. Then
- 24:52Speaker 5: you don't care. Okay, this is crazy. Imagine owning this
- 24:57Speaker 5: piece of history. As we know that the the anniversary
- 25:01Speaker 5: of the Titanic sinking was this week, right, So a
- 25:06Speaker 5: life jacket worn by a survivor of the Titanic disaster
- 25:09Speaker 5: is going on sale tomorrow, first of a kind auction
- 25:13Speaker 5: in over one hundred and fourteen years after the big
- 25:17Speaker 5: old ocean liner sank. It's going on sale and they
- 25:23Speaker 5: estimated to sell for two hundred and fifty thousand pounds.
- 25:27Speaker 5: That's about three hundred and thirty nine thousand bucks to
- 25:30Speaker 5: three hundred and fifty thousand pounds, which almost knocking on
- 25:34Speaker 5: the door of five hundred half a million dollars.
- 25:37Speaker 4: Yeah, the artifacts from the Titanic of obviously very rare
- 25:43Speaker 4: and very valuable. I once had I was interviewing someone
- 25:47Speaker 4: who was investigating the Titanic going down there, and he
- 25:51Speaker 4: brought up a tea set from the Titanic.
- 25:54Speaker 5: Wow.
- 25:55Speaker 4: And it was in one of those boxes, the kind
- 25:57Speaker 4: of suitcases that protect lenses that photographers use, the foam inside,
- 26:04Speaker 4: and he actually let me pick it up, white gloves,
- 26:09Speaker 4: and it was just it was really really impressive. I mean,
- 26:13Speaker 4: you touch history. He was not happy when I dropped it,
- 26:15Speaker 4: not even a little bit.
- 26:16Speaker 5: Yeah, I have a little container, little glass container of
- 26:20Speaker 5: the ocean water that it oh yeah.
- 26:22Speaker 4: Blessed by a priest, which is a double hit rare.
- 26:27Speaker 5: Yes, but but it was the water. Dam.
- 26:30Speaker 4: Okay, we'll do one more.
- 26:33Speaker 3: Well, now Trump wants a big, beautiful arch.
- 26:37Speaker 4: Of course he touches.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Do you think it's gonna have like the Trump gold
- 26:42Speaker 2: letters in blazon y.
- 26:45Speaker 4: I'm going to do this story at seven twenty and
- 26:49Speaker 4: it is a great story and a couple of personal
- 26:52Speaker 4: stories not connected to the arch, but sort of connected.
- 26:57Speaker 4: It's a you know, are Bacon the sixth degrees of
- 27:03Speaker 4: separation kind of thing, so you know what.
- 27:06Speaker 5: He's getting in Latin on it. It's going to be
- 27:08Speaker 5: translated to say, arch, you're glad you voted for Trump. No,
- 27:14Speaker 5: that's not bad.
- 27:15Speaker 2: It's gonna look a lot like the Arc de Triomphe,
- 27:18Speaker 2: except it's bigger. It's the biggest arch in the world.
- 27:21Speaker 3: Is actually is going to be Art Trump, uh Trump
- 27:25Speaker 3: arc to Trump.
- 27:27Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, okay, exactly all right. You've been listening to
