- 2:16give you money? Oh that's an interesting way of of suing friendship. Friendship
- 2:23in infinite money. Infinite money. That's that's what friendships. Friendship is about
- 2:28giving and not keeping tally. That's right, giving, that's right. If
- 2:30you keep it Talian's up. Friendship, it's not friendship. Speaking of which,
- 2:34I do have your tab. I'll settle up, Okay, settle up,
- 2:38set up. I have a judge faith today we have a T shirt.
- 2:44I feel like we have to do it occasionally. I don't know what
- 2:46to tell you. Yeah, every time I'm disappointed. That's fair. For

- 2:53you so much. Please, you'll be getting one of these every other week,
- 2:55and on the weeks where you're not getting one of these, you're getting
- 2:58a bay side And so it's all square. I love it. You want
- 3:01me to kick it off with Judy and then you can you can take the
- 3:06Yeah, let's do that, hirple judge. Judy is old. She's old,
- 3:12and it's COVID and it's she but they're still in the courtword. This
- 3:15is a COVID Judy. Yeah. I fear for her life a bit,
- 3:16but she is doing it. There an audience, there's not an audience.
- 3:21It's just just silence. Yeah, and I can't imagine this good because Judy
- 3:25plays to the energy. But also she like she's just old, Like she
- 3:31doesn't let people tell a story, like she just reads the story and then
- 3:36she just asks them clarifying questions like that's her bit um. And the plaintiff
- 3:42has a witness or someone there with her like nodding along, but we never
- 3:45see like she never comes up and talks, which is another weird bit about
- 3:47this. Erica Fulture is suing Keyshwan homes for the maximum five thousand dollars.
- 3:57Uh. These are for a bunch of different things, she says. He
- 4:00owes her four. Let's get cracking. Uh, get sauce, illegal sauce.
- 4:06So, Erica Fultre is thirty five years old. She's a licensed asthetician.
- 4:12Asthetician, I don't know if it's definitely not an asketetician. That sounds
- 4:15so that's it's like keep an itally on on backside. Sure, sure,
- 4:23Uh, she's all a backside. And I know one mark for you there
- 4:28it is Uh, she is an esthetician and she's also an entrepreneur. We
- 4:31don't get into that business, and that is she does something with beauty,
- 4:35right, aesthetics. Uh. And then she also a single note no children.
- 4:42She's thirty five years old. And her friend Florence, who is in
- 4:45the courtroom with her, does she have her machines? She does not have
- 4:47her machion the dog days, not even that it's not she introduced. She
- 4:53said, Uh, Florence introduced me to Kishawn. And Judy said, do
- 4:57you know how old Kaishawn is? Keishaw? It's ki show in. Um
- 5:02they never say the name, they do, but they say mister Holmes's at
- 5:10the beginning, he says it. Uh So anyway, Uh, she said,
- 5:13yes, I do know how old he is. Um, he's twenty
- 5:15five, ten year difference, he says. And then Judy says, do
- 5:17you know what mister Holmes does for a living? And she says he's an
- 5:21inspiring rapper, But she means aspiring, not inspiring. She means you.
- 5:27No, no, you haven't heard his stuff. It is you change your
- 5:32life, changed my life. I got out of bed today he did because
- 5:34the Keyshawn Holmes. Uh, that can't be his rapper name. Uh.
- 5:41And and she said she's an aspiring rapper and Judy says, no, you're
- 5:45wrong. He does nothing that's what he does. He does nothing. And
- 5:49then she says, I'm an aspiring Grandma Moses, but it doesn't look like
- 5:55that's gonna happen. And she says that to crickets, and then she says,
- 6:00do you know who Grandma Moses was? And Erica Fulter says no,
- 6:04no, I do not, And then Judge Judy proceeds to tell us who
- 6:09Grandma Moses was. She was, which you do? You know the story?
- 6:13She was a painter that didn't start painting until she was seventy five years
- 6:15old, and she did it very very amazing. Yeah, inspiring and a
- 6:20spy. That's right, both of those things. And so then Judge Judy
- 6:24says, so, mister Holmes told you that he was at a crossroads in
- 6:28his life, and Erica Fulter says, yes, I see you at the
- 6:32cross roads. Homes homes homes h k shaka Holmes. Uh. He says
- 6:39very gruntily, no, just no um, And Judy turns to him and
- 6:45say, so you're happy with your life, you don't need anything, You're
- 6:47you're you're on a great trajectory and he says yes, just like that.
- 6:53Judy laughs and talks about how some people are just naturally confident, even if
- 6:57they've never earned it before. But it's it's fun to see. So she
- 7:00goes, but she says, so you and mister Holmes were dating. And
- 7:03Erica says, no, we were not dating. And she says, I
- 7:05have a statement here and it was written by you, and it says,
- 7:10me and mister Holmes started dating. You wrote this seems confusing, and and
- 7:16then Erica says, well, we were dating. We were not in a
- 7:18relationship. And she said did you write this? Eric says yes. She
- 7:25goes, then you were dating. So Holmes during this whole time is grunting
- 7:30no and yes, like no, yeah, no, no, no,
- 7:32yes, And finally she's like, you know, there's no grunting in my
- 7:36courtroom. I'll get to you in a second. And then she finally does
- 7:39get to him and says, what does dating mean to you? And he
- 7:42says, to people, to people spend time together, you know, basically
- 7:46like guess exclusive, and and then she said, Judy says, so,
- 7:53describe your relationship with the plaintiff and he says, transactional, your honor,
- 8:01and she says, transactional, Trent, transactional, What what does that mean?
- 8:05And he says, I gave her money for things she wanted. I
- 8:07gave her time. Uh, you know, she'd like to buy things,
- 8:11and I would give her the things to buy those things, you know.
- 8:13Basically, like that's what was going on. And he says it was not
- 8:16exclusive. He says, uh, stand ups. She says, stand up
- 8:20straight. Don't say basically again. Don't say like again, did you in
- 8:26the plaintiff? Uh? What was transactional? And he said basically everything was
- 8:31in front? Yeah, that's what he said. And she says, okay,
- 8:37stop, don't say basically anymore. I don't even know what that means.
- 8:39Everything is in front. Did you in the plaintiff ever have physical relations?
- 8:43And he says, yes, was that everything everything? Basically it sounds
- 8:50like something you'd say when you don't know what to say. You know,
- 8:54everything's in front, everything's in front. I don't know what to tell you.
- 8:58Uh, did you and the plaintiff had physical relations? And he says
- 9:03yes. She says more than once and he said yes, and she said
- 9:09more than ten times and he says and he says no, okay, and
- 9:15she says, well, so five to ten times and he is like,
- 9:18more like four, So we narrowed that down to the number of times everything
- 9:30was in front, so profit nonchalant. Uh and then she says, uh,
- 9:35okay. So you paid her four hundred ninety one dollars for a rental
- 9:41car which you destroyed, and he says, by accident. I love that,
- 9:48yeah, and she says by accident this says you were doing You got
- 9:54a rental car and you were doing tricks with it, and he says,
- 9:56now, your honor, I was using it for a music video. I
- 10:01had learned some new stuff, was showing that off and the break, you
- 10:05know, the break didn't work in time. I hit a wall. I
- 10:09accept accountability for that, and that's no secret. So he says he wasn't
- 10:13doing tricks. He had learned some new stuff, hit the break, the
- 10:16break didn't work in time, and he accepts accountability for that. Okay,
- 10:22not responsibility, accountability for them. And Judy was like, okay, so
- 10:28tell me about the credit card. We get to the credit card. Erica
- 10:31says he had a credit card in his name and he and Kashawn immediately goes
- 10:37no. So then she says, who's the authorized account holder? Erica says,
- 10:41I'm the authorized account holder based on the agreement that we had and the
- 10:46empathy that I had for him, I gave him a credit card in his
- 10:48own name. So, judge, would you ever give someone get someone a
- 10:54credit card? Technically you have a credit card that is on my credit thinking
- 11:01that is accurate, So yes, I would. Yeah, I have a
- 11:05cell phone on your credit So it's you know, it's a it's a given.
- 11:09Take over here at the bramble jam um. So then Judy goes,
- 11:11so, you ranted a car for this guy three times, you gave him
- 11:16a credit card, you bought plane tickets for him, during which time you're
- 11:20having intimate relations with him. He didn't take this relationship as seriously as you
- 11:26did. Uh, women are supposed to be smarter than that. What what
- 11:30do you have to say for your So then Erica pipes up with some bad
- 11:33grammar and says, we only had intimacy twice three times. What she said,
- 11:41we only had into me see twice three times. I can't tell if
- 11:46that's two to three times or like two sessions. It was a it was
- 11:54a double double double day, but three separate times and three times of a
- 11:58double that would or two threes or three twos. But that would be six,
- 12:03not four. So it would be six not four. That's exactly.
- 12:07I do want to get that on the rest for sure. This is a
- 12:09bramble Jim plus of gavel where we get a little bit more salty either way,
- 12:13though, that's not four. So whether it's two or three or six,
- 12:18yeah, and there's we can go further into that, but I don't
- 12:20think we will. And here's the thing. She says, we had indifacy
- 12:24twice three times, but I wasn't attracted to him in that way. I
- 12:26got him a credit card so he could be self sufficient. He would emotionally
- 12:31abuse me. He would tell me that no one cares about him and he
- 12:35needed help. He's a really big manipulator. Uh. And Judge, Judy's
- 12:39like, yes, tell but telling somebody that no one cares about them is
- 12:45not like me telling you, hey, no one cares about me. Is
- 12:50not emotionally abusive to you. Yeah, it is manipulative, but it's not
- 12:54like I'm not like so, Judy, I'm not telling you that no one
- 12:58cares about you. That's right, which is true. Yeah, Judge,
- 13:01thank you, buddy. I appreciate that for the hard honesty. Uh yes,
- 13:07um, yeah, mclass. He Judge Judy's like, he played you.
- 13:11He played you like, I don't know how else to say this.
- 13:15You got played. However, I am curious about the second rental because you
- 13:18say in your statement you were asking for the keys to the car multiple times,
- 13:22and if he refused to give that to you, we've got something here.
- 13:24So asked me to like what happened there, and she said, well,
- 13:28I asked for the keys back, and I've been trying to get the
- 13:30vehicle back for a while. Well, he came to my house that morning
- 13:33and I was working from home on a zoom call and outside someone came to
- 13:37the house. They were having a fight and was driving me nuts. So
- 13:41I went outside and asked for the keys. And she says, wait a
- 13:43minute, did somebody stay the night? I mean, did somebody somebody just
- 13:46showed up? And she said, yeah, they must have been tracking his
- 13:48phone. And she said, did he stay the night at your house that
- 13:52night? And and Erica Fulger says, yes, yes he did. And
- 13:56so Judge Judy says, I can see what's happening now. He spent the
- 13:58night your house, your bed, and then got upset. There's another girl
- 14:01out front. So you asked to give the keys back. And then she
- 14:05says he wouldn't give me the keys back unless I gave him five hundred dollars
- 14:09because he thought he had already gaven me money. He doesn't know how to
- 14:13do math. Now, that is the last sentence. She says, he
- 14:18thought he had already gaven me money because he doesn't know how to do math.
- 14:24There's a lot there. There's a lot there. Just soak it in.
- 14:28So all right, So there's there's a couple of things that play here.
- 14:33Yeah, there's a rental car. There's two rental cars. We know
- 14:35how long they've had these cars. No, it's five thousand dollars total,
- 14:39which is the max. She has credit card receipts. He's not paid back
- 14:41five thousand rental car that he damaged insurance claim like all this stuff, it
- 14:46took five thousand. She's capped at five thousand. It maxed out. That's
- 14:50what she's suing. Keyshwan Holmes for Judy ready to make her ruling. I
- 14:56have no idea because here's the thing, Like she willingly did all of this,
- 15:03right, she will did all this suh. Yeah, But like she
- 15:11willingly did all this. Everything was upfront. Everything was up front. That's
- 15:13what I'm trying to say. Two two times three four four. I uh,
- 15:20I'm I'm gonna give her no money. You and Judy are gonna be
- 15:24in the same boat. Claim dismissed. No money for Erica. You got
- 15:30played. You should be smarter than that. Sucks to suck. That's exactly
- 15:33right. Gabble, gabble. We did it. That's a good case.
- 15:37That's a great case. It's very fun. It is joy Keishaw made it
- 15:41worth watching for man to man. There's a lot there. There's a lot
- 15:45there. How much do we know how much? Like five thousand was the
- 15:46max? But do we know like how much total? She She was like,
- 15:50no, we don't know that information, but we do know it was
- 15:52transactional and everything was in front, not up front in front. Everything was
- 15:56in front. Yeah, well it has to be. We're gonna carry on
- 16:00over to Judge Faith please here, um, I want to introduce you to
- 16:04a couple of people, one being Denise Bailey. Denise Denise Bailey is suing
- 16:11Claudette Burke for five thousand dollars. Okay, we got a good five boys.
- 16:18I don't know what the max is un judged faith as five thousand for
- 16:22rent. Denise issuing Claudette for five thousand dollars for rent and damages. Claudette
- 16:30is countersuing six hundred and twenty dollars for a TV and an electric bill.
- 16:33All right, okay, let's dive in. Uh. Denise met Claudette through
- 16:40a mutual friend one night at a bar. Okay um she see. Denise
- 16:45thinks that Claudette seems fun. Okay, which she is fun. She still
- 16:51think that currently present day thoughts okay. Upon meeting her, I think she's
- 16:57fun. Um. So she she finds out that Claudet's needing a place to
- 17:02stay. She has a room, and so she does her homework. She
- 17:06hangs starts to hang out with Claudettes some more gets to know her, and
- 17:10she gets to feeling the vibe. She's responsible, so let's do this thing.
- 17:15They get together a rent agreement. She was going to pay rent.
- 17:21They signed an agreement. Claudette has a job, and so everything seems good.
- 17:26What's her job, you ask? Is it an esthetician? No,
- 17:30she's a foxy boxer. She's a foxy box She's a foxy boxer. She's
- 17:36also a bit of an entrepreneur because this is her thing. She puts together
- 17:41these nicetish Foxy boxing from what I can gather here, she puts together evenings
- 17:45where she teams up with a barkay for an evening of foxy boxing. Now,
- 17:52foxy boxing is women in bikini's boxing. I think I got that,
- 17:57so top notch entertainment there. Um. So at the time, now it
- 18:07is unknown whether or not Denise knew about the Foxy boxing like you know,
- 18:14she doesn't know, I don't know, we don't know. But seems fun
- 18:17though she does seem fun yeah, um And so at the time of signing
- 18:22the agreement, she had five shows going on every week. Um and so
- 18:29she was she was staying keeping busy. She was making a thousand dollars a
- 18:33week doing the Foxy Boxing. Um. And she paid eight hundred dollars for
- 18:37the first month, so it was eight hundred dollars monthly. Rant she's making
- 18:41a thousand dollars a week, easy, should be no problems and dollars a
- 18:44week, thousand dollars a week doing the Foxy bringing it in. She was
- 18:48bringing it in until she wasn't. Like foxy boxing tends to be. Sometimes
- 18:55sometimes there's highs and lows, and those lows are when the women get injured
- 18:57and you have to cancel it vents. So she went from five shows to
- 19:03two shows, still plenty of money. Well, I don't know. She's
- 19:07doing five shows and making five thousand dollars a month and goes to two She's
- 19:11making two thousand, still enough to pay the rim. You think so,
- 19:14but alas here we are, Um, so this is happening. She she
- 19:21did. Denise did not ask for a security deposit because she wanted to keep
- 19:23it casual. Claudete seems fine, she paid the first month, no problem.
- 19:26What I keep thinking, no need, no need to make this more
- 19:30than it is. Uh, Denise um has to go away for work for
- 19:34three weeks. Denise works on a pipeline, had to go to Alaska.
- 19:38She's a welder, okay, Um, which is pretty neat. Judge Faith
- 19:44thinks it's neat. Claudette doesn't think it's neat for a girl. She's busy,
- 19:48foxy, foxy boxing. That's what girls do. Girls. That's exactly
- 19:55right. Um so didn't didn't. Claudette also has this face that she does
- 20:00all the time where she was just like this all the time, she's just
- 20:03like it's Claudette. Um. So she goes to Alaska, and um,
- 20:11Claudette's wants it to be known that during that time, those three weeks,
- 20:18she took care of Denise's dog and that dog poops a lot. Okay,
- 20:22so no problem. So yes, So three of the five Foxy boxing shows
- 20:30get canceled while Denise is away. So money is a little bit shorter than
- 20:34it was. She did not pay rent for month number two. Okay,
- 20:38okay. Denise comes back from her trip on the Alaskan pipelines, only to
- 20:45discover that Claudette has spray painted her room with very bright colors, spray paint,
- 20:56spray painted. Now there is graffiti words on each wall. There's love,
- 21:02there's peace. Also in her room, this is her this is this
- 21:07is Claudet's rook. She's painted herself. Yes that she's or had a friend
- 21:11come in and do some graffiti work. So um. She also painted the
- 21:18um, the floor, the carpet which under her breath. Claudette says that
- 21:26was an accident. We don't get any follow up of that. Um.
- 21:30She also we see pictures in her room is just a cluttery mess. There's
- 21:37just stuff hanging from the ceiling like fabric hanging from the ceiling. She has
- 21:44she has um nailed lingerie on the walls as arts. So the paints.
- 21:52It's a nice graffiti work. I do gotta say. It does look pretty
- 21:56cool, but not maybe not for a bedroom that you're renting from somebody.
- 22:00But whatever. They're a lease signed or no, there's a lease sign now.
- 22:04Claudette says, Listen, I asked if I could paint my room,
- 22:08and Denise says, I thought regular paint, not the spray paint. So
- 22:15Denise pulls up being gone three weeks Alaskan pipeline welding, and she sees a
- 22:22bunch of bikes in front of her house. You might be thinking motorcycles,
- 22:27no bicycles. Okay. She goes inside and there are three men in her
- 22:37house smoking hookah pot fruity pot um. We do you know, Yes,
- 22:45Claudette was was smoking pot whatever whatever whatever, Listen, I was just having
- 22:52some fun. And there was also one guy just laying on the floor and
- 22:56then just laying there. So things are going well. Uh. Denise told
- 23:03her after this, no more friends, their gangbangers, their gang bangers.
- 23:07We're not going to have them here gang bang gang bangers. Do you have
- 23:11any proof of those bicycle riding? That's exactly right, um, Claude deett.
- 23:19Month three comes along, no rent. She says, listen, I
- 23:23watched a dog I felt like I was. It was good. It was
- 23:27good. That's easy. Um. And then I gave her a TV.
- 23:33So did she ask for a TV? No, but she gave it to
- 23:36her. Um and UM. Then she's like, and I asked my sugar
- 23:41daddy to pay for the electricity. The crowd goes nuts at the sugar daddy.
- 23:47Um. And Denise pipes up and says, and that check bounce,
- 23:53So the bike riding sugar daddy. Check bounced, sugar daddy. Maybe a
- 23:57little bit more of a splendid Yeah. So month four comes once again,
- 24:03no payment. It's time to kick her out. This is not this is
- 24:08bad news. Um. She can claims that Claudette agreed to repaint the room.
- 24:15We don't get any any feedback from Claudette on that good or bad,
- 24:21but she says she agreed to paint the room. She then brings an invoice.
- 24:23There was a lot of repairs needed, such as the carpet that was
- 24:30accidentally m claudette started making her gang bangers climb out her bedroom window because she
- 24:37didn't want it. Needs to get mad that windows broken. Also, one
- 24:41of the gang bangers knocked down the door. There's holes in the wall that
- 24:45she was cut using the laundry to cover up, which she also nailed to
- 24:49the wall. She no, but we have pictures of everything, okay um.
- 24:57Denise brings an invoice saying that all these damages would cost two thousand dollars.
- 25:02Judge Faith says, do you have a receipt for do like actually doing
- 25:04the work, and she says, this is the receipt and Judge Faith is
- 25:08like, this is not a receipt. This is an end voice for what
- 25:11it would cost. It's not a receipt. Judge Faith is ready to make
- 25:14her so she hasn't done the work yet, she's work, that's what.
- 25:18Well, she's claiming she did do the work, and that's what she's a
- 25:21thousand dollars of work and three months rent is only forty four hundred dollars.
- 25:26There are there's a fifty dollars late fee per month and that's in the lease,
- 25:32and it's in the lease. Okay um, So that's another three that
- 25:36still doesn't add up. I don't know how we got to the five thousand.
- 25:38There's some missing numbers. I think she definitely gets the rent back,
- 25:42um. And I think what's interesting is is that how did you have money
- 25:48to paint if you didn't have money for rent? Like that's the thing that
- 25:51I can't get past. Maybe she was just letting a guide practice. Yeah,
- 25:55I guess. Um, I'm inclined to give her all of it.
- 25:59I don't think Faith's gonna do it. I think Faith is gonna give her,
- 26:03uh half twenty five hundred dollars, So I think Faith's gonna do Um.
- 26:07So Faith is gonna give her twenty eight hundred dollars for the rent.
- 26:12That's rent plus the late fees. Okay, so that doesn't end up or
- 26:15whatever. Um. So there was some sort of number one that's eight times
- 26:19three, it's twenty four hundred, and then there's four hundred dollars late piece.
- 26:23Apparently that's a weird number for late fees for three months. But that's
- 26:26fine. We got twenty eight hundred, and then she's gonna give her two
- 26:30hundred dollars to repaint the room. And that's it, and that's it.
- 26:33None of the other stuff for the one the other stuff. Wow. Interesting,
- 26:36Yeah, that's a wild ruling. Why why, I don't know.
- 26:37She said in voice, wasn't good enough for her, wasn't good enough for
- 26:41faith? Wasn't good enough for faith? Apparently said you should be able to
- 26:45paint the room for two hundred dollars. You can have that, man,
- 26:48That's how you can't paid a room for twenty dollars unless you're doing it yourself.
- 26:51But that's what Judge Faith wants her today. She well, will weld
- 26:53your way to it, weld your way to pipe pipeline work girl, girl,
- 27:00unbelievations, Claude. That's fun though, I'll say that much she is.
- 27:03She's fun. She's fun, foxy box, boxy box, she's intuitive,
- 27:08she's inventive. I wish you could see the pictures of this room.
- 27:14They were wild. I bet it was a wild rim. She's gabbles all
- 27:17about right there. She's great. She also at one point says that um
- 27:21uh, Denise calls her crazy, and she's like, I'm not crazy.
- 27:23I have a a h d D. So a h d D. Yeah,
- 27:30what can you do? We did? Everybody congratulation. Uh, we'll
