- 0:25Here's Pastor Ed to take us into our study.
- 0:30Amen. Amen.
- 0:32Take those Bibles of yours and open them to Luke chapter 24.
- 0:36Luke chapter 24. As we celebrate Easter today,
- 0:41God is doing something new in our day.
- 0:44He's pouring out His Spirit in a fresh new way.
- 0:48And it's our responsibility as sons and daughters to wake up
- 0:51and pay attention to what God is doing and to get involved with
- 0:56this movement on the earth today.
- 0:58And here we are celebrating another Easter.
- 1:01We come together to worship and celebrate life in its fullest.
- 1:05It's one of those happy days, one of those days of great
- 1:08celebration. But it is important that we step
- 1:12back and ask what is Easter all about anyway?
- 1:16I mean, what's it about? Is it about family and eggs and
- 1:22big bunnies and chocolate getting together with friends?
- 1:25I mean, that does surround a lot of our festivities today for
- 1:28sure. But when we ask the question
- 1:31about Easter, what is it about anyway?
- 1:33We have to mention the issues of life and death.
- 1:38We come face to face again with the issues of life and death.
- 1:42I mean, here we are today celebrating the resurrection of
- 1:45Jesus Christ, that he is alive. But before the resurrection was
- 1:49a torturous death. Jesus paid the full price of the
- 1:54wrath of God upon your sin and mine.
- 1:57And Easter can be a profoundly sad day for many as we once
- 2:00again come face to face with the issue of death.
- 2:04So many of us have lost loved ones and missed them terribly.
- 2:08I mean, I've been a pastor now for many, many years and I have
- 2:11stayed. I have stood at the graveside of
- 2:14so many. I stood at the graveside as a
- 2:17pastor, as a dad, as a son, a friend.
- 2:23I mean, it's hard, isn't it? Death can be so crushing, so
- 2:27harsh, so final. That is the scene of the cross.
- 2:33The scene of the cross is crushing, harsh, and final.
- 2:39Jesus is torturously dying and his followers have deserted him
- 2:44and it's over. And they're wrestling with all
- 2:46the emotions. They're wrestling with all of
- 2:49the reality that their life is forever changed.
- 2:53Now we know that they've come to the wrong conclusion, but the
- 2:55feelings are still the same. They're looking at the at at
- 2:59their friend. It wasn't merely a savior on the
- 3:02cross for them. Jesus was their friend.
- 3:05He committed, They committed their lives to following him,
- 3:08believing what he taught, spent time with him, ate with him,
- 3:12hung out with him, laughed with him.
- 3:16And there he is dying and all hope is gone.
- 3:19And you might say, well, pastor, how do you know that?
- 3:22How can you say that about the cross?
- 3:24It's a good question. You know, the Bible gives us a
- 3:27lot of insight from different angles of what happened at the
- 3:29cross. You weren't there, I wasn't
- 3:32there. But we have eyewitnesses
- 3:33accounts of exactly what happened and and how some
- 3:38believed and some felt as they walked away from the cross.
- 3:43In Luke chapter 24. I want to introduce you to a
- 3:46couple of men. We know the name of one of them
- 3:50and a couple of men that are leaving Jerusalem after the
- 3:53death of their friend. And notice what we learn in
- 3:56verse 13 of Luke 24. Now behold, 2 of them were
- 4:01traveling that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was
- 4:057 miles from Jerusalem. And they talked together of all
- 4:10these things which had happened. And so it was while they
- 4:13conversed and reasoned that Jesus Himself drew near and went
- 4:19with them. But their eyes were restrained
- 4:22so that they did not know Him. We learned very quickly here
- 4:27that Jesus is drawn to the hurting.
- 4:32There's a lot of people he could have met on the road.
- 4:34The Luke 24 could have described Jesus meeting all sorts of
- 4:38people. But we have reserved for us
- 4:40these two men that are coming home from Jerusalem, talking
- 4:43about what happened, wondering what's going on, concerned about
- 4:47what they thought and what's going on.
- 4:49And notice Jesus tells us in verse 17.
- 4:52What kind of conversation is this that you have with one
- 4:55another, that with one another as you walk and are sad?
- 5:02So we know they're sad. There's a lot of emotions
- 5:05surrounding the death of Jesus Christ and they're sad.
- 5:09They're really going through it. They are going home wrestling
- 5:15with the reality, the new reality of their life as Jesus
- 5:19is no longer a part of it. Notice in verse 18 it says then
- 5:23one of those whose name was Cleopas answered and said to
- 5:27him, are you the only stranger in Jerusalem?
- 5:30And have you not known the things which happened there in
- 5:33these days? Now this is funny, isn't it?
- 5:36They're going down, they're going home, Jesus comes.
- 5:39They don't quite know it's Jesus and they're asking Jesus, don't
- 5:42you know what just happened to you?
- 5:44Don't you understand? They don't know who he is.
- 5:49They're wrestling and deep in their heart.
- 5:51And by the way, you pregnant ladies out there, if you're
- 5:53looking for a name for your future son, Cleopas is right
- 5:57here. It's a Bible name.
- 5:59It's a Bible name. Verse 19, Jesus, and I love this
- 6:04about Jesus because he draws out.
- 6:07He loves to draw out what's inside of you, what you're
- 6:11carrying. You know, perhaps nobody knows
- 6:14the depth of the weight of emotion that you carry or the
- 6:17issues of your life, but the Lord knows.
- 6:20And so carefully He draws out with these guided questions.
- 6:24And notice what He says. He says to them what things so
- 6:27they said to him. Verse 19, the things concerning
- 6:30Jesus of Nazareth who was a prophet, mighty and deed and
- 6:34word before God and all the people, and how the chief
- 6:37priests and the rulers delivered him to be condemned to death and
- 6:40crucified him. But we were hoping, mark that
- 6:45phrase, not only are they sad, but they've lost all hope.
- 6:50I mean, these are heavy words here, that they have lost all
- 6:53hope, which tells me that they put their hope in Christ and
- 6:58everything that he said, but from everything that they see,
- 7:01they've lost all hope that happens to us.
- 7:05We can see things and experience things.
- 7:07We can feel the weight of things and come to the wrong conclusion
- 7:12because we don't quite see it the way God sees it.
- 7:14We don't quite understand it the way God understands it.
- 7:17That's where these guys are. They're leaving with all this
- 7:20heavyweight. Jesus comes to them and they say
- 7:22in verse 21, we were hoping that it was he who is going to redeem
- 7:26Israel. Indeed.
- 7:28Besides all this, today is the third day since these things
- 7:31happened. Yes, certain men of our company
- 7:34who arrived at the tomb early astonished us when they did not
- 7:38find his body. They came saying that they had
- 7:40also seen a vision of angels who said he was alive.
- 7:43And certain of those who were with us went to the tomb and
- 7:46found it, just as the women had said.
- 7:48But him they did not see. They have all the right
- 7:52information, but they're coming to the wrong conclusion.
- 7:56You know, experiencing deep hurt and pain and trauma will do that
- 8:00to a person. You lose your balance, you lose
- 8:04your equilibrium. You know, the best thing I can
- 8:06describe it is if you've ever been punched in the gut, you
- 8:09know what I'm talking about. You can't breathe.
- 8:11Nothing ever. Nothing else really matters.
- 8:14You know, you get punched in the gut.
- 8:15You have one thought. Breathe, breathe.
- 8:17I just need to breathe. I just want to catch a breath.
- 8:20You're not worried about the mortgage.
- 8:21You're not worried about putting gas in the car.
- 8:24You have one singular thing. And here they are, one singular
- 8:28thing. What's going on with my future?
- 8:32And yet they have all the right facts.
- 8:34Jesus is alive. The angels, the women came back
- 8:37and said, an Angel told us that he's alive and we can't find
- 8:41him. And all the evidence is there.
- 8:43You know, death and loss will do that to you.
- 8:46Jesus experienced the pain of death and loss in a friend with
- 8:49a friend. We know him as Lazarus.
- 8:52He was called to the city by Lazarus's sisters while he was
- 8:56still sick and Jesus was asked to go to help his sick friend
- 9:01and by the time he arrived, Lazarus had already died.
- 9:05And you know what the Bible says?
- 9:06Jesus wept. Why?
- 9:10Why did Jesus, the Son of God, the King of Kings, cry?
- 9:15I believe he was aching at the consequences of death.
- 9:19Jesus knew it wasn't part of God's original plan.
- 9:23He knew that others pain, He experienced others pain as if it
- 9:28was his own. Jesus wept because his heart was
- 9:32broken and crushed just like these two men.
- 9:35Their heart is broken and they're crushed and they're
- 9:37trying to talk it out. Jesus says in verse 25, Oh
- 9:41foolish ones, slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets
- 9:47have spoken. Ought not the Christ to have
- 9:49suffered these things, and to enter into His glory?
- 9:52And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He expounded to
- 9:56them, and all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.
- 10:01Then they drew near to the village where they were going,
- 10:04and He indicated that He would have gone farther, but they
- 10:06constrained Him. Abide with us, for it is toward
- 10:11evening, and the day is far spent.
- 10:13And He went in to stay with them.
- 10:16And it came to pass, as He sat at the table with Him, that He
- 10:19took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.
- 10:24Then look at verse 31. Then their eyes were opened and
- 10:27they knew him, and he vanished from their sight.
- 10:31It has been my prayer for some time and many on our team, we
- 10:34have been praying that today your eyes would be open, that
- 10:38you would have a fresh understanding and vision of
- 10:40exactly who Jesus is, especially in his powerful resurrection.
- 10:45For some of you, you're far from God.
- 10:48You haven't been in church in a long time.
- 10:49Maybe this is one of the first times you've been in church.
- 10:51And I, I commend you. I know somebody might have
- 10:54bribed you with a pie or a lunch, but I'm glad you're here.
- 10:57You know, take the lunch, get double, you know, you go to
- 11:00Chipotle, just get double of everything.
- 11:02It's good that you're here. It's good that you're here
- 11:05because you're so close. And we've been praying that your
- 11:08eyes would open and that you wouldn't be slow of heart to
- 11:12believe. Some of you have been away for a
- 11:15long time. We, you know the phrase, you've
- 11:17been a prodigal. You have been wandering for a
- 11:20very long time. And it is time to come home and
- 11:25open your eyes. Open your eyes to the reality of
- 11:29Jesus love for you. And what a privilege it is today
- 11:32for me as a pastor to share with you that he alone, Jesus Christ,
- 11:38is the only way to a right relationship with God.
- 11:42And he is alive in this moment, speaking to you, drawing you,
- 11:47and even bringing a sense of conviction of sin in your life.
- 11:53And that's a hard word to receive, isn't it sin?
- 11:56It's a Bible word, but it's a powerful word that describes
- 12:00every problem in the world today.
- 12:03Every difficulty and problem can be tied to this issue of sin.
- 12:08And the Bible is very clear about sin.
- 12:10You know, a couple of things to know about sin as we talk about
- 12:14it. First of all, the Bible says
- 12:16this, for we have all sinned and fallen short of God's
- 12:20perfection. So there's not an innocent one
- 12:22among us. Every single one of us has to
- 12:25deal with this issue of sin. And the Bible says that there's
- 12:30a penalty for sin, that the wages of sin is death,
- 12:36separation. It's a very serious matter.
- 12:39Perhaps sin is quite offensive to you at the beginning.
- 12:43Let's take one step back and let's talk about something
- 12:46perhaps a little less offensive, and that is mistakes.
- 12:50I mean, if I ask, and I'm not going to, but if I ask, hey
- 12:53guys, how many of you have made a mistake in the last hour?
- 12:57It's like we, me, me, me, me, we all make mistakes.
- 13:00That's much easier to admit as we look at our life and we go,
- 13:03OK, yeah, OK. I've made a few mistakes, and
- 13:06some of them big, some of them small, some of them recent, some
- 13:09of them, you know, distant, whatever they may be.
- 13:13You see, the ability to recognize your imperfection is
- 13:16very, very important because the Bible is crystal clear.
- 13:20Nothing imperfect makes it to heaven.
- 13:24Nothing imperfect makes it to heaven.
- 13:27Only that which is perfect can be in the presence of God, can
- 13:31live for eternity with God. So when you think through the
- 13:35reality of making mistakes, understand that sin is a much
- 13:39more serious mistake, if you will, because it is against your
- 13:45Creator, the one who loves you. Do you know that the Bible says
- 13:50that God loved you and me so much that He sent His only
- 13:53begotten Son, that whosoever would believe in him would not
- 13:57perish, but have everlasting life?
- 13:59Sin is a very serious matter, and many have gone to great
- 14:03lengths to try to deal with their sin.
- 14:05I think of those perhaps that have run away to alcohol because
- 14:09of sin. It's like you just can't feel
- 14:12the weight of it, so you run the alcohol.
- 14:13And what you didn't know when you ran to alcohol is that it
- 14:16would own your life and it would begin to destroy your life and
- 14:21it would begin to permeate within your life to bring you to
- 14:24the place where you almost lost everything.
- 14:26Why? Because you were trying to deal
- 14:28with sin. Some don't run to alcohol or
- 14:30drugs. They run the relationship,
- 14:32relationship after relationship. I mean, this one will appease
- 14:36me. This one will appease me.
- 14:37And what have you found out? If we interviewed some of those,
- 14:40some of you that have run from relationship to relationship,
- 14:43you would tell us this, hey, I ran a lot, but there was
- 14:46something I couldn't outrun. Well, what is it myself?
- 14:50Because everywhere you go, you bring yourself with you.
- 14:54You see, God has provided a remedy for the issues of life
- 14:57that uneasy. So you may have never really
- 15:00even recognized sin in your life, but this is what you you
- 15:03have recognized this and uneasy conscience.
- 15:05Isn't it amazing how God created us intrinsically?
- 15:10We can tell the difference between right and wrong without
- 15:12anybody ever telling us it's right or wrong.
- 15:14We just know. We know internally that maybe
- 15:18something we said something, we did something.
- 15:21That is it. You could see it on someone
- 15:23else's face. Have you ever said something?
- 15:25And as the words are coming out of your mouth, you wanted to
- 15:27reel them back in and you're like, oh, no, I don't know.
- 15:30And you see how those words hit the ears of the person in front
- 15:34of you. And you know, they don't even
- 15:36need to say anything. You can see it on their face
- 15:39that you've wounded them or you've hurt them or you've
- 15:43scared them. How is that possible?
- 15:46Because God has created us all with an intrinsic ability to
- 15:49know right and wrong. And many try to run away from a
- 15:53guilty conscience. But that shouldn't surprise us.
- 15:56Some even try to run to a, you know, a religious system.
- 16:00They they don't choose to follow Jesus Christ.
- 16:02But there are all sorts of religions out there, man made
- 16:05religions. I mean, there's a popular phrase
- 16:07today. Maybe you hold to this phrase.
- 16:09And if you do, I respect you. But I'm also asking you to
- 16:11reconsider it. But there's a lot of people that
- 16:13will say this. Well, you know, pastor, all
- 16:15roads lead to God. All roads lead to God.
- 16:18And you know, you're a pastor. You have to say that stuff about
- 16:20Jesus. But you know, oh, I took a class
- 16:23in college. All roads lead to God.
- 16:25Now some of you might be surprised by my response to
- 16:28that. I actually agree that all roads
- 16:32lead to God. I agree with that statement.
- 16:34Now before you leave and declare me a the doors are locked anyway
- 16:37so you can't leave. But before you leave, before you
- 16:40guys try to run out downstairs, I believe I agree with that
- 16:44statement, but probably not the way you think.
- 16:47You see, all roads do lead to God.
- 16:50You choose a different religion, you choose a different
- 16:52philosophy of life. It will get you to God.
- 16:55You will end up in the presence of God.
- 16:59You decide. Perhaps even today you say,
- 17:01well, I don't even none of this religion stuff for me.
- 17:03I'm an atheist. Atheism is a road that will lead
- 17:07you to God. Here's what I think about this
- 17:09phrase. While all roads lead to God,
- 17:13every human being will have to give an account for their life
- 17:17and what they've done with the gift of life that God has given
- 17:19you. While all roads lead to God, not
- 17:23all roads lead to life or salvation.
- 17:28Jesus made it very clear that he alone, John 14, six, he alone is
- 17:33the way, the truth and the life, and no one can come to the
- 17:37Father except through him. You might even hear me today and
- 17:42go, wait a minute, you know, I'm a good person.
- 17:44I'm a good person. And again, I would agree with
- 17:48you. I'm sure you are, and I'm
- 17:50thankful that you're good. We need more good people doing
- 17:53more good deeds in a very difficult world that we live in.
- 17:56And I'm grateful that you're a good person.
- 17:59You may say to me, but Pastor I, I've been raised in the church.
- 18:03I've been in the church my whole life.
- 18:04I've done everything the church has told me to do.
- 18:08I was baptized, I was confirmed, I, I took my first communion.
- 18:13I was married in the church. My life is filled with good
- 18:16deeds. I've helped others.
- 18:17I've given money to the church. I've even sacrificed.
- 18:20Doesn't not count for anything. Indeed, it does count for a lot.
- 18:25We we need goodness in the world today.
- 18:28But that as it relates to God, if that's your testimony, if
- 18:31that's your life, you stopped short at the church.
- 18:36You see, the call of God is not to the church.
- 18:40The call of God is to Jesus himself.
- 18:44You see, the church is not an organization.
- 18:46The church is a gathering. The Bible says the church is a
- 18:50gathering. We all come together when the
- 18:52church shows up. It's not an organization that
- 18:54you do things for. It's a place where we gather
- 18:57together to worship the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
- 19:01What what we do we do for the Lord, we do for Jesus Christ.
- 19:05He alone is worthy of our time and our attention and our
- 19:08talents. You see, even serving the church
- 19:13faithfully doesn't deal with the sin issue, only the blood of
- 19:17Jesus. Because we've all done wrong
- 19:20things and we've all said wrong things.
- 19:23And when when emotions get involved and difficulties come
- 19:26because every one of us have had hard days and hard weeks and
- 19:32hard months, hard years, hard lives, the only difference is
- 19:37how have we responded? Maybe you're like these two men
- 19:42that are going home having lost all hope.
- 19:47They just lost all hope. There's just no other remedy.
- 19:49There's no other way. You see that your eyes, verse
- 19:5231, your eyes need to be opened to the reality of the presence
- 19:57of Jesus Christ in your life. He is alive and He is the remedy
- 20:02for sin today. Because it was on the cross that
- 20:05Jesus died. For all the wrong things we've
- 20:08ever done, all the wrong places we've ever gone, all the wrong
- 20:11thoughts we've ever had, the wrong words, everything about
- 20:15our lives have been covered by the blood of Jesus Christ.
- 20:18And it shall come to pass. The Bible says that whoever
- 20:22calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- 20:26And that's my prayer for you, that you would understand your
- 20:31need before God, an answer to your Creator.
- 20:35It's amazing the stories in this room.
- 20:37You know, if I went around because I know many people in
- 20:39this room and I started pointing at the stories and I said, OK,
- 20:42maybe we'll just get 15 people that come up and give us 5
- 20:45minutes. I mean, that would be over an
- 20:47hour, by the way, 15 minutes, 515 people, 5 minutes would be
- 20:50over an hour of, of time as they come up and share their
- 20:54testimony, share their lives and as you listen to them, I'm sure
- 20:58some of the stories your response would be that's not
- 21:00true. That's no way that didn't
- 21:01happen. Jesus didn't turn her life
- 21:03around. Or you would look at them and
- 21:05they, I'm sure they would say to you, no, no, you don't
- 21:06understand. I mean, I won't even speak for
- 21:08them. I'll speak for myself.
- 21:09If I just gave you 5 minutes, the some of the worst 5 minutes
- 21:13of my life and how Jesus turned my life around, you would look
- 21:16at me and go, hey, pastor, there's no way.
- 21:17There's no way that happened in your life.
- 21:20You were born a pastor. You were born with glasses on
- 21:22and a suit. You came right out of the womb
- 21:24and there you are and you just showed up at church and you were
- 21:27always that way. And it's like, Nah, anyway,
- 21:29that's not true. I was there, I lived it.
- 21:34There is eyewitness account of the risen Christ in my life, in
- 21:38my family, and it's multiplied by thousands upon thousands.
- 21:44If you broaden the church around the world, billions of people's
- 21:47lives have been changed by Christ and even more billions of
- 21:51people have resisted. Like Jesus said, they're slew of
- 21:55heart. Today I invite you to get your
- 21:58life right with God. True spiritual life is available
- 22:02to you today. At the cross, sin was defeated.
- 22:06At the tomb, death was defeated as Jesus Christ becomes the
- 22:10first fruits of the resurrection in Jesus.
- 22:14Your life becomes undefeated, as the Bible says.
- 22:17Repent therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be
- 22:20blotted out and that times of refreshing may come from the
- 22:24presence of the Lord. And the only way to deal with
- 22:27your conscience and to cleanse your sins is to come clean with
- 22:30Jesus today, to turn your heart and life toward Him.
- 22:36We celebrate today of all the festivities and all the fun and
- 22:40happiness that we're going to experience today.
- 22:43The most important celebration is for all that Jesus has done
- 22:47and all that Jesus is doing because he is alive.
- 22:53He is alive and calls us to Himself.
- 22:56Amen. Amen.
- 22:58Father, we thank you for your word.
- 23:00We ask for a fresh outpouring of your Holy Spirit today.
- 23:05For those that hear a very simple reminder.
- 23:08I pray specifically for those that are downstairs, especially
- 23:12those that are here in the room. I think of those watching online
- 23:16and on the radio today that there would be an outpouring of
- 23:19your Holy Spirit that you would draw as you are many to
- 23:22yourself. Like like those two men.
- 23:24You come alongside of them. You talk with us, You reason
- 23:28with us, and here we are in the moment to refresh our hearts
- 23:34towards you. But for many, they need to
- 23:36receive you choose to follow you.
- 23:38That's your will. That's that's why we're here
- 23:41today. And I would just say as the
- 23:43church is praying, if you're here today and you would say to
- 23:45me, pastor, I want to receive the forgiveness of my sins.
- 23:49I need forgiveness. I want to follow God today.
- 23:53Would you just stand to your feet?
- 23:54I would like to pray for you that today would be that day
- 23:57that you received the forgiveness of sins for your
- 24:00lives right here in this moment. Who would say here in this room,
- 24:04God bless you and you in the back over here.
- 24:06And I mean that with all sincerity.
- 24:08You guys in the back, it just reverses all around the room.
- 24:11Allow the Holy Spirit respond. You have heard the voice of God.
- 24:15It is. It's not my voice.
- 24:18It's not my voice. You have heard God.
- 24:21He has spoken beyond the words to the very heart of the matter.
- 24:26Maybe you are that prodigal son and prodigal daughter.
- 24:29You need to come home. I'm asking you, inviting you,
- 24:31come home today. Just respond.
- 24:34Stand to your feet, receive what God is offering you today.
- 24:41I met a lot of prodigal sons and daughters this last service, a
- 24:45lot that have been away for a long time.
- 24:49And you know, it's not returning to the church.
- 24:51It's not because of mom and dad really.
- 24:54You're coming back to the Lord because He loves you.
- 24:57No more wandering no more You need to make a commitment to
- 25:04Jesus. Some of you, it's a time for
- 25:06recommitment. Why don't you stand as well?
- 25:08You just sense this is it. You're you know, the holidays
- 25:12are amazing because they start they cause us to think about
- 25:14things we don't typically think about.
- 25:17And maybe it's time for a recommitment time for you to
- 25:21come back. I'm going to wait a moment.
- 25:25Anyone else? And I'm sorry I don't see you
- 25:28guys downstairs. I wish I did, but the Lord sees
- 25:32you. He does.
- 25:34This is a special moment. God's moving in the room.
- 25:38He's moving downstairs with the kiddos.
- 25:42Your life forever changed. Generational change begins now
- 25:47to receive the forgiveness of sins.
- 25:50So let me help you with a prayer.
- 25:52The Bible says that if we confess with our mouths of the
- 25:54Lord Jesus and believe in our heart that God raised him from
- 25:57the dead, you will be saved. So let me help you with a
- 26:00prayer. You ready?
- 26:01You can repeat after me. You could say, Lord Jesus, I
- 26:05know that I'm a Sinner, but I know that you're the Savior who
- 26:12died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead.
- 26:19I turn from my sins and I choose to follow you today.
- 26:25From this moment forward, I give you my life and the issues of my
- 26:35life, and from this day forward I'm following you.
- 26:43Father, I know anyone anywhere that would turn to you.
- 26:46Your word says you don't cast them out.
- 26:50And so near and far. The work of Your Holy Spirit
- 26:53among us. I pray that you would answer the
- 26:55prayers of those you know. There's a lot going on.
- 26:58It's not just my words. There's a lot going on in the
- 27:00room. There's a lot stirring.
- 27:04And let today be the beginning of something fresh and something
- 27:07new. That we as a family of believers
- 27:10would never stop praying for the lost.
- 27:12We'd never stop praying for our families, for our friends.
- 27:16And that this would be a genuine today.
- 27:19This would be a genuine turn of events and those that responded
- 27:24to you, I pray that you would save marriages.
- 27:28I pray that you would save families.
- 27:30I pray God that that you would rescue and reconcile.
- 27:34That you would restore what the enemies tried to steal.
- 27:38That you would restore love where it lacks, That you would
- 27:41restore hope where it lacks. That you would pour out your
- 27:45spirit in these last days so that we can get along with what
- 27:48you're doing. Serve others in the in your
- 27:51gracious name. So bless those that responded
- 27:54today in Jesus name, Amen, we pray.
