The Reality of God's Judgment
In this sermon from Nahum chapter 2. Nahum gives all the vivid details of the downfall of the city of Nineveh. Nahum 2 reveals that when God declares judgment, no enemy can stand and no purpose of His can fail. For God's people, this is a reminder that He will judge wickedness, keep His promises, and ultimately bring justice. Nahum's vivid picture of Nineveh's fall reminds us that God's judgment is real and certain. His patience should never be mistaken for indifference, His Word can be trusted, and those who take refuge in Christ can face the coming judgment with hope.
