Scripture: Matthew 27:15 In chapter 27 of the book of Matthew, the trial of Jesus before Pilate is not a surprise to us. It doesn't surprise us that this Roman emperor would look at Jesus and find him guilty of the charges against him, or would be willing to crucify Jesus, even if he didn't think he was guilty because of the political pressures on him, because of the circumstance that he was faced with. So we see Pilate, and we see here's a man who's politically motivated, and he's probably willing to do whatever needs ...
