🚨 It's STARTING! 🚨 Prepare for the Precious Metals BIG Change... (Gold and Silver Price NEWS) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

• 0:01
$100 silver. Who said it and why?
• 0:05
We're going to talk about that, but can you feel it?
• 0:08
Isn't it getting really crazy out there right now?
• 0:12
Look, we're going to talk about from the Grand Bazaar all the
• 0:15
way to Bullion Star, a mad scramble appears to potentially
• 0:21
be breaking out for silver and gold.
• 0:24
People wanting to get their hands on physical metal all
• 0:27
around the world. I'll bring you the latest on
• 0:29
that as well. We got a lot more to talk about
• 0:31
fraud, a state here in the United States that's now buying
• 0:35
gold and silver to keep in their own vault in their state.
• 0:39
And will the Fed be raising rates?
• 0:41
But without further ado, let's jump right into this hot
• 0:44
subject, which is when is silver going to get to $100 again?
• 0:49
And a lot of the top analysts are calling for the potential of
• 0:53
a very fast rebound. But there's one guy who I
• 0:56
respect the most in the upper echelon of people in the silver
• 1:01
  sector, and that's Keith Newmeyer.
• 1:03
Keith Newmeyer coined the phrase triple digit silver, and he
• 1:07
doesn't make a lot of public statements, but he said
• 1:10
something yesterday on X that caught my attention.
• 1:14
Let's go take a look at that right now.
• 1:16
Mr. Keith Newmeyer said this and there we go.
• 1:22
He said it'll be back to triple digit silver.
• 1:26
Give it a few months. Do you think we can wait that
• 1:28
long, guys? I think we'll be OK.
• 1:31
New highs are coming, all right? He said earlier I was right
• 1:35
about about $100 silver. The rally being driven by
• 1:39
physical demand and that's the big key.
• 1:42
That's something that Keith has been driving home.
• 1:45
That's something that we've been talking about for, gosh, years
• 1:49
and years. But in over 2025 that this rally
• 1:54
that we experienced from $30 to $120.00 was not a speculative
• 2:00
rally. Maybe the last little section of
• 2:03
it was John Lee from Silver Elephant was on a week ago
• 2:06
explaining that to us. Hold on one second here, guys
• 2:10
explaining that to us that, that maybe that last little part from
• 2:14
around 100 to 120 was speculative paper driven, but
• 2:19
this has been a physical driven rally.
• 2:22
Keith Neumeyer, right, the founder, Chief Executive Officer
• 2:26
of First Majestic Silver, no silver better than anybody and I
• 2:30
happen to agree with them. We've got people like Michael
• 2:33
Oliver, we all everybody, and we're going to look at some
• 2:35
charts in a little bit, especially when it comes to the
• 2:39
silver to gold ratio that show us we could be in for some very
• 2:42
good at times. What about China?
• 2:45
All right, let's talk about the the scramble for metals around
• 2:48
the world. Let's dig into that because it
• 2:50
gets fun and interesting. The Oriental Ghost shares this
• 2:54
with us and he says that the gold price has plummeted and
• 3:00
China has seen a big wave of buying gold.
• 3:04
Major banks are out of stock for gold bars weighing less than 50
• 3:09
grams. That's like what, a little over
• 3:12
  1 1/2 oz? That's like 1 2/3 oz.
• 3:15
Purchasing gold bars at major gold stores in Beijing requires
• 3:20
an appointment and does not guarantee supply.
• 3:24
March 24th, data as follows, and I can't read Mandarin, but we
• 3:28
can read this. This is the latest report from
• 3:31
the Shanghai Gold Exchange, and I want to point out something
• 3:34
interesting. Of course, we'll look at the
• 3:37
spot price of silver in China, which is now at $77 per oz and a
• 3:44
  little backward dated. That's interesting.
• 3:47
This is the Shanghai Gold Exchange.
• 3:49
That's their physical market. Let's look at their futures
• 3:52
market where the price is a little bit lower.
• 3:57
This price, the futures price and a normal market that's in
• 4:01
the state of contango should be higher and it's actually a tad
• 4:05
bit lower, which for China is unusual.
• 4:08
Anytime a market is in this state, which is called
• 4:11
backwardation, that is unusual and typically indicates that
• 4:17
there's concern. People are willing to pay a
• 4:19
premium basically to get the metal right now as opposed to
• 4:23
waiting to the future where it should be more expensive.
• 4:26
So very interesting. But what's even more interesting
• 4:29
is down here, people are noticing that the vault at the
• 4:33
vaults at the Shanghai Futures Exchange, that level has been
• 4:37
going up still traditionally very, very low.
• 4:42
And as he said, there is a scramble for physical metal in
• 4:47
China right now. Now, next, let's go to Singapore
• 4:50
because we're getting reports and we'll go to Singapore next.
• 4:53
Hold on one more pertinent point about the vaults.
• 4:57
Eric Yong, King Kong 9888 shares with us.
• 5:00
I think global physical silver drain accelerated while the
• 5:05
  silver price was nuclear slammed.
• 5:08
And this is a chart that shows the inventory levels at the
• 5:12
Shanghai Gold Exchange and the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
• 5:16
You can see 2020 right there. Look how high those levels were,
• 5:21
with the pink being the futures exchange and the Gray being the
• 5:25
gold exchange. Look at this guys.
• 5:28
I mean, yeah, sure, they may have popped up a little bit here
• 5:31
in the last in the last week or so.
• 5:34
But as you can see, right, it's not just the COMEX where there's
• 5:38
definitely stress. I'm hearing like 78,000,000
• 5:41
ounces in the COMEX registered vault right now, but it's
• 5:45
happening in China as well. Make sure I hit all the points
• 5:49
  on that. OK?
• 5:50
Now, how you doing? Hey, thank you for joining us
• 5:53
down here in the basement on behalf of myself and my lovely
• 5:56
Co host upstairs, Susie, we appreciate you being here.
• 5:59
Please. It's free for you to subscribe
• 6:02

• 6:08
Give the video a thumbs up. Super chat, super thanks.
• 6:11
  Never expected, always appreciated.
• 6:13
And most importantly, you got a good head on your shoulders,
• 6:17
right? You are smarter than the average
• 6:18
bear. We want to hear from you.
• 6:20
Leave a comment in the comment section, right?
• 6:23
That's how we learn is from each other.
• 6:25
Now, let's go on, but we're going to talk.
• 6:28
What about this scramble for physical metal around the world?
• 6:31
We're going to go from the Grand Bazaar all the way to Bullion
• 6:35
Star. And why don't we start with
• 6:37
Bullion Star for their latest update because it's becoming
• 6:41
more and more critical and boom, wrong 1.
• 6:47
Hold on here. Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh.
• 6:53
I screwed up. Bear with me, guys here.
• 6:55
I'm going to let you look at this chart for one more second
• 6:59
while I go out here. Get.
• 7:02
  Hold on. Stay with me.
• 7:05
We're going to get there. Hold on.
• 7:11
Uh oh. Hopefully you guys can see me
• 7:15
and hear me. I think we're having some tech
• 7:16
  issues. Hold on.
• 7:23
Yep, here we go. I got it.
• 7:24
  Now. I think we're back.
• 7:31
Hold on, guys. And things are going off the
• 7:34
rails here. We're having some tech issues
• 7:36
with the streaming software. Hopefully, you can see me and
• 7:38
hear me. We're going to go now to Bullion
• 7:40
Star in Singapore, one of the biggest bullion dealers and get
• 7:44
up like up to the hour update in terms of what they are seeing.
• 7:49
And here it is right here on your screen.
• 7:51
Bullion Star says we're seeing a clear uptick in physical demand
• 7:57
around 3 times our normal daily sales yesterday.
• 8:02
Prices dip, but buying actually surged.
• 8:04
More customers are stepping in on weakness instead of waiting
• 8:09
on the sidelines. Lower prices aren't pushing them
• 8:11
away, they're pulling them in. That tells you everything about
• 8:15
where conviction sits right now. So that is Bullion Star, which
• 8:20
is the biggest boat sing, Singapore's premier gold and
• 8:24
silver bullion dealer now operating in the United States
• 8:27
and New Zealand. But Bullion Star also guys, but
• 8:31
it's important to understand Singapore is a very wealthy
• 8:34
  country with sophisticated investors.
• 8:36
So next, I apologize for the tech issues.
• 8:42
We are doing the best we can. I know some of you get
• 8:44
frustrated. Well, we're a one man band.
• 8:46
Literally. I'm in the basement connecting
• 8:48
with you. So thank you for your
• 8:50
understanding. But we went to Singapore now all
• 8:53
the way together from wherever you are and me in the basement.
• 8:56
Let's go to the Grand Bazaar in Turkey because we're getting
• 9:00
some crazy pictures coming from Turkey about demand for silver
• 9:06
and gold. This comes from the Silver Wolf.
• 9:10
Turkish people are lined up to get their hands on gold and gold
• 9:16
on. So it's on fire sale.
• 9:18
Sorry about that. Look at that, lines of people.
• 9:20
OK, now then we come down here. Silverwoof shows the Grand
• 9:25
Bazaar in Istanbul. People are lining up there as
• 9:29
well. All right, this is According to
• 9:31
him, these people are lined up for gold and silver.
• 9:34
But then another one from Silverwoof people lined up in
• 9:38
front of bold bullion shops in the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul.
• 9:44
Hold on here, Make sure we got the right screen.
• 9:48
Yeah, there we go. That looks like a cool place
• 9:52
that'd be. You know, that would be a fun
• 9:54
field trip for us basement dwellers to go on together.
• 9:57
OK, Now on top of that, when we're talking about physical
• 10:00
metal, let's beg the question, because more and more people are
• 10:04
bringing this up, is the Comex indeed dying at this point?
• 10:09
Because we got some stunning data from Friday about the level
• 10:13
of activity at the COMEX, and it's actually not good.
• 10:18
OK, TF Metals reports the final numbers for Friday confirm this
• 10:23
  at 1000. I'm sorry, 111,000 contracts
• 10:27
total. COMEX Silver open interest was
• 10:30
the lowest seen in 14 years. OK, read between the lines,
• 10:37
right? Open interest activity at the
• 10:39
COMEX. A lot of people are pointing to
• 10:41
this as speculation that it shows that the the Western paper
• 10:47
markets are losing quite a bit of their control over the actual
• 10:53
silver price. So we're going to keep a close
• 10:55
eye on that. Now let's go to some charts.
• 10:57
Let's go to the long term. Here's a new one for us to look
• 11:00
at from the Happy Hawaiian. Zooming out to see 100 years.
• 11:06
This is the silver to gold ratio.
• 11:09
So this if you take the silver price and divide it by the gold
• 11:13
price, you'll get this ratio. It broke out and is now
• 11:18
retesting said breakout. The reason that we're looking at
• 11:21
this and talking about this is this potential for a fast
• 11:26
rebound in the silver price in particular.
• 11:29
We are rooting for gold, no doubt about it.
• 11:32
But as the silver to gold ratio right as we can see broke out on
• 11:37
this long term chart going back several decades, that could
• 11:41
provide us with the slingshot move that you hear people like
• 11:46
Michael Oliver talk about other top leaders in the silver and
• 11:50
gold sector. And let's go to the next chart
• 11:53
we have free. Hold on a minute, wrong 1.
• 11:57
  Hold on here. OK.
• 12:00
Oh, shoot, hold on, boy, oh boy. Right.
• 12:03
The the the tech is going crazy. We'll come back, we'll come back
• 12:06
to this one in one second before we do that.
• 12:12
It's been a it's been a boring three months in the silver
• 12:15
market, hasn't it? Think back over the last three
• 12:18
months, right? Everything that's happened in
• 12:20
the silver market, but the reality is really shocking when
• 12:25
you look at this Our our great friend make gold great again
• 12:29
  points this one out and it's a it's a it's a it's enlightening
• 12:33
for us to realize this. He says it's been a boring three
• 12:36
months in silver. We're only down 1%.
• 12:40
So when you when you pull up a three month chart of silver,
• 12:44
what you see is that almost exactly over the last three
• 12:47
months, the price has barely moved, OK from start to finish.
• 12:53
We know that in between there was obviously a massive run up,
• 12:58
you know a bunch of movement. But over that three month period
• 13:02
guys, three months ago and that's that's what I want to the
• 13:05
point I want to drive home for us.
• 13:07
And I think important for us to remember three months ago when
• 13:11
silver was at $70.00, right? If we talked about the fact that
• 13:16
three months in the future, which would be today that silver
• 13:19
would still be around $70, we probably would have been pretty
• 13:23
happy. We would have said, wow, it went
• 13:25
from 35 to 70 and it consolidated in the 70 range for
• 13:29
three months, providing a great platform from which it can go
• 13:33
higher and higher in the future. Think about it right now, we
• 13:37
know what happened over those three months and we can sit and
• 13:40
cry in our in our, you know, oh, we went to 120 and now we're
• 13:43
back to 70. But the reality is that three
• 13:46
months ago, had we known that three months later silver would
• 13:50
still be at $70, we would have been pretty darn happy.
• 13:53
And I guess it's a, you know, that volatility, that massive
• 13:57
volatility that has gone on in the last three months, it's
• 14:01
  shaking out almost anybody, right?
• 14:03
Most all the people that don't have very strong conviction for
• 14:08
the silver price. If you have strong conviction
• 14:10
for the silver price, please check out channel sponsor first
• 14:14

horse coin, which is absolutely beautiful.
• 14:48
Man, I just love nothing like picking up a nice piece of
• 14:52
  silver. Again, the websites first
• 14:54
mint.com and thank you to 1st Mint for sponsoring Ron's
• 14:58
Basement and providing such a great premium retail silver
• 15:02
buying experience to the Ron's Basement community.
• 15:06
OK, so let's go. Oh, there's all now if you heard
• 15:09
this big there's a lot of controversy going on that that
• 15:13
that that is points toward the potential speculation that there
• 15:17
was some funny business trading wise that went went on yesterday
• 15:21
morning before the big announcement that Donald Trump
• 15:25
made on true social that he was not going to commence with a
• 15:31
bombing campaign on Iran last night.
• 15:33
Ash crypto. And then we're going to hear
• 15:35
from Kobesi about this says what the heck?
• 15:38
Iran's parliament speaker says the US has used fake news of
• 15:43
peace talks with Iran to manipulate oil in financial
• 15:47
markets. Multiple reports on X claim
• 15:50
insiders made-up to 100 million today with this trade.
• 15:55
So when when that announcement was made right, Bitcoin went
• 15:58
skyrocketing, the S&P 500 went skyrocketing, the NASDAQ and of
• 16:03
course oil crash. Now Kabasi has this to say,
• 16:08
which is very interesting in regard.
• 16:11
Hold on one second. Sorry guys.
• 16:13
In regard to this speculation, it says is this the best timed
• 16:20
trade of 2026? And hold on.
• 16:25
Yep, we got you up. At 6:50 AM yesterday, 1.5
• 16:30
billion in notional value worth of S&P 500 futures contracts
• 16:34
were bought. This trade was so large that it
• 16:37
sent the entire index of .3% in that one minute.
• 16:41
Then 14 minutes later at 7 O 4:00 AM Eastern Time, President
• 16:46
Trump announced productive discussions with Iran were
• 16:49
underway. By 7:10 AM the S&P.
• 16:51
It added 2 trillion in market cap that that 1.5 billion
• 16:55
position was up $60 million in minutes.
• 17:00
Absolutely incredible. So there's some people out there
• 17:04
that are speculating that maybe there was a little bit of early
• 17:10
notice given to certain people. I don't know, but it certainly
• 17:13
  is an interesting situation, guys.
• 17:16
Now let's talk about the Fed. Everybody thinks we need lower
• 17:20
interest rates for gold and silver to continue higher from
• 17:22
here. A lot of people are very scared
• 17:25
that the Fed's going to raise rates.
• 17:27
The Fed's going to raise rates. OK, Now we're going to go look
• 17:30
at the CME Fed watch tool and see that indeed, the Fed might
• 17:34
raise rates. But I'm going to reiterate to
• 17:36
you why that doesn't matter. And I'll make it very simple and
• 17:39
very easy for you to understand. But it is almost unbelievable
• 17:44
how much things have changed in just a few day, a few days.
• 17:48
We are here at the CME Fed Watch tool.
• 17:51
This gives us what the big money futures market is betting in
• 17:56
terms of where interest rates will be in the future.
• 17:59
So again, almost unbelievable. Hold on here, you get that.
• 18:05
Oh, shoot, that won't go away. Hold on one second.
• 18:10
There we go. OK, so this is the next meeting
• 18:15
of the Fed. I'm circling that for you in the
• 18:17
upper right, upper left corner. This is the current interest
• 18:21
rate that the Fed has set 3.5 to 3.75.
• 18:25
As you can see, there is now an 8.3% chance that the Fed is
• 18:31
actually going to raise rates at the next meeting and a 91%
• 18:36
chance that they're going to leave rates the way they are.
• 18:39
That's right there, 3.5 to 3.75. Now it gets even more
• 18:42
interesting. Then we're going to, we're going
• 18:44
to learn why this doesn't really matter.
• 18:46
Don't you worry if we go to this tab up here, we'll just go to
• 18:50
October. So what the market is indicating
• 18:55
for October, again, here is the current rate, 3.5 to 3.75.
• 19:02
They're saying that there's a 3% chance that rates could be up by
• 19:06
  .5%. Wow, unbelievable.
• 19:10
And a 24% chance that they would be up by .25%.
• 19:18
Wow, that is crazy. And a 73% chance.
• 19:24
Hold on here, 73% chance that rates will remain the same.
• 19:31
That is incredible OK, so we've moved suddenly we're in an
• 19:36
environment where instead of thinking about the Fed cutting
• 19:39
  rates significantly during 2026 every.
• 19:43
It's crazy what is going on. This is why it doesn't matter
• 19:47
the rate. The rate really doesn't matter.
• 19:49
What matters is the gap between where interest rates are right
• 19:55
and where the inflation rate is, OK?
• 19:57
So if like right now, both interest rates and inflation,
• 20:02
we're going to say are pretty much equal, around 3.5%, OK, If
• 20:06
the Fed were to lower rates now, oh, that would be great.
• 20:09
That would be great, right? Because interest rates would be
• 20:12
lower, but inflation would stay where it is, right?
• 20:16
And that would mean that we would have negative real
• 20:18
interest rates. So everybody thinks, oh, if the
• 20:21
Fed raises interest rates, that's got to be bad for gold
• 20:24
and silver, no? The Fed can raise rates and they
• 20:28
can't raise them that high because we got an unbelievable
• 20:31
debt problem this country. So even if the Fed raises rates
• 20:34
by let's say .5%, that's this hand over here goes up a little
• 20:39
bit. If inflation goes up, debt,
• 20:41
let's say 6% or 8%, The gap between inflation and interest
• 20:48
rates is what matters. If the interest rates are 4% and
• 20:52
you're making 4% on your money, but the inflation 8%, you're
• 20:58
losing 4%, that is called negative real interest rates.
• 21:02
So while the headlines and the the people that don't really
• 21:06
want to understand what's going on will say if the Fed raises
• 21:09
rates, that's bad for, for gold and silver, no, If the Fed
• 21:14
raises rates to a rate higher than the inflation rate, yes, it
• 21:18
absolutely is bad for gold and silver.
• 21:21
But they can't do that because we know inflation is going to
• 21:24
take off like crazy. The cat's out of the bag, right?
• 21:29
The ship has sailed unless it's trying to get through the Strait
• 21:32
of Hormuz. But you get my point, right?
• 21:35
The, the energy, the, the infrastructure, it's going to
• 21:38
be, it'll be 6 months to a year under the best of outcomes and
• 21:43
circumstances that oil prices will come back down, right?
• 21:47
And we already had high inflation.
• 21:49
So don't listen to this. It's a bunch of bunk.
• 21:51
Anybody who says that if the Fed raises rates, that's
• 21:54
  automatically bad. No, right.
• 21:57
If inflation is going up faster than the interest rate
• 22:00
increases, it doesn't matter. It's the gap.
• 22:03
OK, you got to mind the gap. I hope that makes sense because
• 22:06
that's true and I'll stand by that 100% right?
• 22:11
The other thing people will talk about is the dollar, the DXY
• 22:14
index, blah, blah, blah. Yeah, it's up a little bit
• 22:17
today, but it really doesn't make doesn't really mean all
• 22:22
that much. Let's talk about a state in the
• 22:24
United States that is buying gold.
• 22:27
It's a big deal going on on a state by state basis in the
• 22:31
  United States legal tender legislation.
• 22:34
The way the United States is set up, like states have certain
• 22:37
rights, things they can do independently.
• 22:40
There's been a wave of individual states in the United
• 22:43
States and acting legal tender legislation.
• 22:46
Texas, Missouri, the list goes on and on.
• 22:49
New Hampshire, all the, all the, all the smart states are doing
• 22:53
it. We're going to talk about what
• 22:54
Wyoming is doing. They're one of the latest.
• 22:57
We're going to talk about that next.
• 22:58
First, I do want to say thank you to 1st Mining Gold for
• 23:01
sponsoring Ron's basement, their development stage gold mining
• 23:05
company. They've 2 huge projects, Spring
• 23:08
Pole in Ontario and Duke Parquet located in Quebec, each of which
• 23:13
have millions of Oz of gold in the ground in Canada and they're
• 23:17
working them through the development stage.
• 23:20
The I own long before they sponsored my channel.
• 23:23
You can learn more about them at firstmininggold.com.
• 23:26
Please always remember I'm not a financial advisor.
• 23:29
Always do your own research and seek professional help if you
• 23:33
need it. OK, let's go to Wyoming and put
• 23:36
a smile on our face. Wyoming is very progressive and
• 23:40
very smart about how they handle things.
• 23:43
In this right is what's happening Wyoming's gold hedge
• 23:47
and the return of state bullion. OK, now here's what I want to
• 23:54
read to you. That's their, that's their,
• 23:57
they. They've got a big facility
• 23:59
they've built for storing gold and silver.
• 24:02
That's the Wyoming Reserve Vault building in Casper, WY, says in
• 24:07
a recent article on the Wall Street Journal.
• 24:09
Jared Mitovich documents one of the clearest examples of this
• 24:13
trend, the trend being states starting to buy gold and silver.
• 24:17
Wyoming has begun purchasing and storing gold in their in their
• 24:22
situation as part of its state investment strategy, becoming
• 24:27
one of the several states experimenting with precious
• 24:30
metals allocations as a hedge against economic instability.
• 24:35
The state's first purchase was modest in institutional terms,
• 24:40
but symbolically significant. Is that your basement?
• 24:45
How did they get a picture of your basement out there on the
• 24:48
Internet? So guys, it is happening
• 24:51
  everywhere in the world. OK?
• 24:54
Really the United States is last to catch on.
• 24:57
Canada's a little bit behind us, right?
• 24:59
The Canadian government owns like no gold or silver, but it's
• 25:04
happening all around the world. Ray Dalio said it last night.
• 25:09
I was listening to him. He was like, the world central
• 25:12
banks are buying massive amounts of gold, right?
• 25:15
Tether, one of the world's biggest crypto companies, is the
• 25:18
next biggest buyer of gold behind the world central central
• 25:21
banks. I mean the the think about the
• 25:24
level of uncertainty and distrust going on in the world
• 25:28
right now on a geopolitical level and how countries are all
• 25:32
going back to being nationalistic, but also right
• 25:36
buying gold, buying silver. This is just really absolutely
• 25:42
an incredible time to be alive. Let me run out here quickly
• 25:46
check on this uh oh, hold on a second.
• 25:49
