  Do
• 1:15
  we
• 1:15
  lose
• 1:15
  if
• 1:16
  Freddie
• 1:16
  or
• 1:16
  Jason
• 1:16
  wins,
• 1:17
  we're
• 1:17
  gonna
• 1:17
  be
• 1:17
  asking
• 1:18
  this
• 1:18
  question
• 1:18
  a
• 1:18
  lot
• 1:18
  more
• 1:19
  on
• 1:19
  today's
• 1:19
  episode
• 1:19
  of
• 1:19
  Cismic
• 1:20
  Ecology.
• 1:20
  We
• 1:20
  are
• 1:21
  the
• 1:21
  Priests
• 1:21
  of
• 1:21
  the
• 1:21
  Geeks.
• 1:21
  I'm
• 1:22
  your
• 1:22
  host,
• 1:22
  Christian
• 1:22
  Ashley,
• 1:23
  joined
• 1:24
  for
• 1:24
  the
• 1:24
  first
• 1:25
  time
• 1:25
  as
• 1:25
  a
• 1:25
  host.
• 1:26
  I
• 1:26
  get
• 1:26
  to
• 1:26
  officially
• 1:27
  introduce
• 1:27
  to
• 1:27
  you
• 1:28
  Dr.
• 1:28
  Leah
• 1:28
  Robinson.
• 1:29
  How's
• 1:29
  it
• 1:29
  going,
• 1:29
  Leah?
• 1:30
  It's
• 1:31
  going
• 1:31
  well.
• 1:31
  It's
• 1:32
  going
• 1:32
  well.
• 1:32
  And
• 1:33
  thank
• 1:33
  you
• 1:33
  so
• 1:33
  much
• 1:34
  to
• 1:34
  all
• 1:34
  the
• 1:34
  geeks
• 1:35
  for
• 1:35
  allowing
• 1:35
  me
• 1:36
  to
• 1:36
  not
• 1:36
  only
• 1:37
  be
• 1:37
  a
• 1:37
  priest
• 1:37
  to
• 1:37
  the
• 1:37
  people,
• 1:38
  but
• 1:38
  a
• 1:38
  priest
• 1:38
  to
• 1:38
  the
• 1:38
  geeks
• 1:39
  now.
• 1:40
  I
• 1:40
  appreciate
• 1:40
  it.
• 1:41
  Yeah.
• 1:42
  This
• 1:42
  is
• 1:42
  the
• 1:42
  last
• 1:43
  Drive
• 1:43
  in
• 1:44
  episode
• 1:44
  we're
• 1:44
  doing
• 1:45
  for
• 1:46
  the
• 1:46
  spooky
• 1:47
  season.
• 1:47
  So
• 1:47
  we
• 1:47
  also
• 1:48
  get
• 1:48
  to
• 1:48
  be
• 1:48
  the
• 1:48
  last
• 1:49
  ones
• 1:49
  to
• 1:49
  do
• 1:49
  that.
• 1:50
  Hit
• 1:50
  some
• 1:50
  milestones
• 1:51
  there
• 1:51
  together.
• 1:53
  So,
• 1:53
  Leah,
• 1:54
  today
• 1:54
  we're
• 1:55
  discussing.
• 1:55
  Of
• 1:56
  course,
• 1:56
  you
• 1:56
  know,
• 1:57
  we've
• 1:57
  gone
• 1:57
  through
• 1:58
  multiple
• 1:58
  things.
• 1:58
  You
• 1:58
  got
• 1:59
  to
• 1:59
  do
• 1:59
  Aliens.
• 2:01
  I
• 2:01
  just
• 2:01
  did
• 2:02
  Godzilla
• 2:02
  versus
• 2:02
  Kong
• 2:03
  with
• 2:03
  tj.
• 2:04
  But
• 2:04
  we're
• 2:04
  moving
• 2:04
  on
• 2:04
  to
• 2:05
  Freddy
• 2:05
  versus
• 2:06
  Jason.
• 2:06
  What
• 2:06
  better
• 2:07
  way
• 2:07
  to
• 2:08
  cap
• 2:08
  off
• 2:08
  this
• 2:08
  with
• 2:09
  one
• 2:09
  of
• 2:10
  the,
• 2:11
  not
• 2:11
  going
• 2:11
  to
• 2:11
  say
• 2:11
  greatest,
• 2:12
  one
• 2:12
  of
• 2:12
  the
• 2:12
  crossovers
• 2:13
  of
• 2:13
  all
• 2:13
  time
• 2:14
  between
• 2:15
  the
• 2:15
  two.
• 2:15
  So
• 2:16
  you
• 2:16
  ready
• 2:16
  for
• 2:16
  this
• 2:16
  one?
• 2:17
  I'm
• 2:17
  so
• 2:17
  ready.
• 2:18
  And
• 2:18
  I
• 2:18
  will
• 2:18
  say
• 2:18
  two
• 2:18
  of
• 2:19
  the
• 2:19
  most
• 2:19
  iconic.
• 2:20
  I
• 2:20
  mean,
• 2:20
  yes,
• 2:21
  maybe,
• 2:22
  perhaps
• 2:22
  their
• 2:23
  crossover
• 2:23
  was
• 2:23
  not
• 2:24
  as
• 2:24
  iconic,
• 2:25
  but
• 2:25
  indeed
• 2:25
  them
• 2:26
  as
• 2:26
  separate
• 2:26
  entities.
• 2:27
  Let's
• 2:27
  be
• 2:27
  real.
• 2:28
  If
• 2:28
  you
• 2:28
  start
• 2:28
  naming
• 2:29
  horror
• 2:29
  film,
• 2:29
  people
• 2:30
  like
• 2:30
  Freddy
• 2:30
  and
• 2:30
  Jason
• 2:31
  are
• 2:31
  way
• 2:32
  up
• 2:32
  there.
• 2:32
  Yeah.
• 2:33
  This
• 2:33
  was
• 2:33
  something
• 2:34
  that
• 2:34
  was
• 2:34
  kind
• 2:34
  of
• 2:34
  just
• 2:34
  kind
• 2:34
  of
• 2:35
  destined
• 2:35
  to
• 2:35
  happen
• 2:36
  in
• 2:36
  some
• 2:37
  way,
• 2:37
  shape
• 2:37
  or
• 2:37
  form.
• 2:38
  Is
• 2:38
  the
• 2:38
  final
• 2:39
  product
• 2:39
  the
• 2:39
  greatest.
• 2:39
  You
• 2:39
  know
• 2:40
  what,
• 2:40
  we'll
• 2:40
  talk
• 2:40
  about
• 2:40
  that,
• 2:41
  but
• 2:41
  we
• 2:42
  get
• 2:42
  to
• 2:42
  enjoy
• 2:42
  it.
• 2:43
  So,
• 2:43
  Leah,
• 2:44
  we
• 2:44
  have
• 2:44
  just
• 2:44
  watched
• 2:44
  this
• 2:45
  at
• 2:45
  the
• 2:45
  drive
• 2:45
  in
• 2:46
  for
• 2:46
  the
• 2:46
  first
• 2:46
  time.
• 2:47
  What's
• 2:47
  your
• 2:47
  first
• 2:48
  reaction
• 2:48
  and
• 2:48
  the
• 2:48
  first
• 2:49
  thing
• 2:49
  you
• 2:49
  want
• 2:49
  to
• 2:49
  say
• 2:49
  after
• 2:49
  seeing
• 2:50
  this
• 2:50
  movie?
• 2:51
  Well,
• 2:51
  I'm
• 2:52
  much
• 2:52
  kinder
• 2:52
  about
• 2:52
  this
• 2:53
  one
• 2:53
  than
• 2:53
  I
• 2:53
  was
• 2:53
  about
• 2:54
  the
• 2:54
  Aliens
• 2:54
  vs.
• 2:55
  Predator,
• 2:55
  which
• 2:55
  I
• 2:56
  said,
• 2:56
  I'll
• 2:56
  never
• 2:57
  get
• 2:57
  that
• 2:57
  hour
• 2:57
  and
• 2:57
  a
• 2:57
  half
• 2:58
  back.
• 2:58
  But
• 2:59
  the
• 2:59
  first
• 2:59
  thing
• 2:59
  that
• 2:59
  I'm
• 3:00
  going
• 3:00
  to
• 3:00
  say
• 3:00
  leaving
• 3:01
  the
• 3:01
  theater
• 3:01
  is
• 3:02
  because
• 3:03
  of
• 3:03
  the
• 3:03
  last
• 3:04
  scene,
• 3:04
  which
• 3:04
  we'll
• 3:05
  talk
• 3:05
  about.
• 3:06
  I
• 3:06
  would
• 3:06
  turn
• 3:06
  to
• 3:07
  you
• 3:07
  and
• 3:07
  say,
• 3:07
  what
• 3:08
  did
• 3:08
  they
• 3:08
  expect
• 3:08
  to
• 3:09
  happen?
• 3:10
  They're
• 3:10
  both
• 3:10
  ghosts,
• 3:12
  right?
• 3:13
  Like,
• 3:14
  who
• 3:14
  was
• 3:14
  going
• 3:14
  to
• 3:15
  win
• 3:15
  with
• 3:15
  two
• 3:15
  ghosts?
• 3:18
  I
• 3:18
  mean,
• 3:19
  you've
• 3:19
  got
• 3:19
  your.
• 3:20
  Your
• 3:20
  nightmare
• 3:21
  demon
• 3:22
  figure,
• 3:22
  your.
• 3:23
  Your
• 3:24
  Alp,
• 3:26
  you
• 3:26
  know,
• 3:26
  what
• 3:26
  have
• 3:27
  you
• 3:27
  and
• 3:28
  Freddy.
• 3:28
  Then
• 3:28
  you've
• 3:29
  got
• 3:29
  your
• 3:29
  revenant
• 3:30
  zombie
• 3:31
  in
• 3:31
  Jason.
• 3:32
  You
• 3:33
  got
• 3:33
  to
• 3:33
  find
• 3:33
  some
• 3:33
  way
• 3:33
  for
• 3:34
  him
• 3:34
  to
• 3:34
  fight.
• 3:34
  And
• 3:34
  this
• 3:35
  is
• 3:35
  the
• 3:35
  best
• 3:35
  they
• 3:35
  threw
• 3:36
  out.
• 3:37
  My
• 3:37
  reaction
• 3:37
  to
• 3:38
  this
• 3:38
  is,
• 3:38
  okay,
• 3:39
  I'm
• 3:39
  glad
• 3:39
  I
• 3:39
  watched
• 3:40
  it.
• 3:41
  I
• 3:41
  think.
• 3:41
  I
• 3:41
  don't
• 3:42
  know
• 3:42
  how
• 3:42
  I
• 3:42
  would
• 3:42
  fix
• 3:42
  it.
• 3:43
  I'VE
• 3:43
  had
• 3:43
  years
• 3:43
  to
• 3:43
  think
• 3:44
  about
• 3:44
  that,
• 3:44
  but
• 3:44
  I
• 3:44
  haven't
• 3:44
  actually
• 3:45
  sat
• 3:45
  down
• 3:45
  and
• 3:45
  said
• 3:46
  how
• 3:46
  would
• 3:46
  I
• 3:46
  would
• 3:46
  do
• 3:46
  it.
• 3:47
  But
• 3:47
  you
• 3:47
  know
• 3:47
  what?
• 3:47
  It
• 3:48
  was
• 3:48
  fun.
• 3:48
  It
• 3:48
  was
• 3:49
  an
• 3:49
  okay
• 3:49
  time.
• 3:50
  Money
• 3:50
  was
• 3:50
  not
• 3:50
  wasted.
• 3:51
  I
• 3:51
  saw
• 3:51
  it
• 3:52
  in
• 3:52
  the
• 3:52
  theater,
• 3:52
  actually,
• 3:52
  in
• 3:53
  college.
• 3:54
  I
• 3:54
  went.
• 3:54
  I
• 3:54
  know
• 3:55
  I
• 3:55
  paid
• 3:56
  money.
• 3:56
  Money
• 3:57
  that
• 3:57
  I
• 3:57
  did
• 3:57
  not
• 3:57
  have
• 3:58
  to
• 3:58
  go
• 3:58
  see
• 3:58
  this
• 3:59
  film
• 3:59
  in
• 3:59
  college.
• 4:01
  Very
• 4:02
  nice.
• 4:02
  Yeah,
• 4:03
  I
• 4:03
  got
• 4:03
  into
• 4:03
  this
• 4:04
  relatively.
• 4:04
  Not
• 4:05
  late,
• 4:05
  but
• 4:07
  growing
• 4:07
  up.
• 4:08
  Guys,
• 4:08
  if
• 4:08
  you've
• 4:09
  been
• 4:09
  listening
• 4:09
  to
• 4:09
  show,
• 4:09
  you
• 4:09
  probably
• 4:10
  have
• 4:10
  heard
• 4:10
  us
• 4:10
  already.
• 4:10
  But
• 4:11
  just
• 4:11
  for
• 4:11
  the
• 4:12
  new
• 4:12
  listeners,
• 4:13
  I
• 4:14
  was
• 4:15
  not
• 4:15
  a
• 4:15
  horror
• 4:15
  aficionado
• 4:16
  growing
• 4:17
  up.
• 4:17
  Got
• 4:18
  into
• 4:18
  horror
• 4:19
  in
• 4:19
  high
• 4:19
  school
• 4:20
  after
• 4:21
  years
• 4:21
  of
• 4:21
  being,
• 4:23
  let's
• 4:23
  say,
• 4:23
  a
• 4:23
  scaredy
• 4:24
  cat.
• 4:24
  Very
• 4:25
  much
• 4:25
  so.
• 4:26
  And
• 4:26
  they
• 4:27
  finally
• 4:27
  just
• 4:27
  got
• 4:27
  to
• 4:27
  the
• 4:27
  point
• 4:28
  where
• 4:28
  I
• 4:28
  said,
• 4:28
  look,
• 4:28
  I'm
• 4:29
  done
• 4:29
  with
• 4:29
  this.
• 4:29
  I'm
• 4:30
  going
• 4:30
  to
• 4:30
  get
• 4:30
  into
• 4:30
  the
• 4:30
  genre.
• 4:31
  I'm
• 4:31
  going
• 4:31
  to
• 4:32
  force
• 4:32
  myself
• 4:32
  to
• 4:32
  love
• 4:32
  it.
• 4:33
  And
• 4:33
  you're
• 4:33
  right.
• 4:33
  And
• 4:33
  have
• 4:33
  to
• 4:34
  force
• 4:34
  myself.
• 4:35
  It
• 4:35
  ended
• 4:35
  up
• 4:35
  being
• 4:36
  fun.
• 4:36
  So
• 4:36
  part
• 4:37
  of
• 4:37
  this
• 4:37
  growth
• 4:37
  was
• 4:37
  getting
• 4:37
  into
• 4:38
  both
• 4:38
  franchises.
• 4:39
  And
• 4:40
  I
• 4:40
  saw
• 4:41
  this
• 4:41
  probably
• 4:41
  on
• 4:41
  like
• 4:42
  an
• 4:42
  AMC
• 4:42
  or
• 4:43
  something
• 4:43
  like
• 4:43
  that
• 4:43
  when
• 4:43
  they
• 4:44
  were
• 4:44
  doing
• 4:44
  one
• 4:44
  of
• 4:44
  their
• 4:44
  marathons
• 4:45
  of
• 4:45
  the
• 4:46
  franchise.
• 4:47
  And
• 4:47
  you
• 4:47
  know
• 4:48
  what?
• 4:48
  I
• 4:48
  was
• 4:48
  happy
• 4:49
  with
• 4:49
  it.
• 4:50
  Yeah.
• 4:50
  And
• 4:50
  I
• 4:50
  don't
• 4:50
  think
• 4:51
  all
• 4:51
  horrors
• 4:52
  for,
• 4:52
  like,
• 4:53
  I
• 4:53
  don't
• 4:53
  do.
• 4:55
  I
• 4:55
  don't
• 4:55
  watch
• 4:55
  it
• 4:56
  all,
• 4:56
  like
• 4:56
  the
• 4:57
  gore
• 4:57
  porn
• 4:57
  stuff
• 4:58
  or
• 4:58
  invasion
• 4:59
  stuff
• 5:00
  that
• 5:01
  is
• 5:01
  completely
• 5:02
  outside
• 5:02
  the
• 5:02
  realm.
• 5:03
  The
• 5:04
  stuff
• 5:04
  that
• 5:04
  I
• 5:05
  do
• 5:05
  watch
• 5:05
  that
• 5:06
  actually
• 5:06
  scares
• 5:06
  me
• 5:06
  the
• 5:07
  most
• 5:07
  is
• 5:07
  what
• 5:07
  took
• 5:07
  me
• 5:08
  a
• 5:08
  long
• 5:08
  time
• 5:08
  to
• 5:08
  get
• 5:08
  into,
• 5:09
  which
• 5:09
  is
• 5:10
  like
• 5:10
  the
• 5:10
  Poltergeist
• 5:12
  conjuring
• 5:12
  ghosty
• 5:13
  things.
• 5:14
  Like
• 5:14
  if
• 5:15
  there's
• 5:15
  like
• 5:15
  a
• 5:16
  ghosty
• 5:16
  or
• 5:17
  like
• 5:17
  the
• 5:17
  Babadook
• 5:18
  or
• 5:18
  something
• 5:18
  that's
• 5:18
  like
• 5:19
  hanging
• 5:19
  out
• 5:20
  in
• 5:20
  a
• 5:20
  corner
• 5:20
  somewhere.
• 5:22
  Like
• 5:22
  that
• 5:22
  to
• 5:22
  me
• 5:22
  is
• 5:23
  terrifying.
• 5:23
  Give
• 5:24
  me
• 5:24
  a
• 5:24
  Jason
• 5:25
  who
• 5:25
  can't
• 5:26
  walk
• 5:26
  above
• 5:27
  one
• 5:27
  mile
• 5:27
  an
• 5:27
  hour,
• 5:28
  or
• 5:29
  Freddie
• 5:29
  who,
• 5:30
  you
• 5:30
  know,
• 5:31
  it's.
• 5:31
  He
• 5:32
  seems
• 5:32
  really
• 5:32
  purposefully
• 5:33
  placed
• 5:33
  on
• 5:34
  Elm
• 5:34
  Street.
• 5:35
  So
• 5:36
  if
• 5:36
  I
• 5:37
  can
• 5:37
  geographically
• 5:38
  stay
• 5:38
  away
• 5:38
  from
• 5:39
  them
• 5:39
  via
• 5:39
  Camp
• 5:39
  Crystal
• 5:40
  Lake
• 5:40
  or
• 5:40
  Elm
• 5:41
  Street,
• 5:41
  I
• 5:41
  feel
• 5:42
  infinitely
• 5:42
  better
• 5:43
  about
• 5:43
  that
• 5:44
  situation.
• 5:45
  But,
• 5:45
  yeah,
• 5:46
  I
• 5:46
  get
• 5:46
  it.
• 5:47
  That's
• 5:48
  fair.
• 5:48
  Not
• 5:49
  every.
• 5:49
  You're
• 5:49
  not
• 5:49
  supposed
• 5:49
  to
• 5:50
  like
• 5:50
  everything.
• 5:51
  It's
• 5:51
  fine.
• 5:52
  I'm
• 5:52
  not
• 5:52
  a
• 5:52
  big,
• 5:53
  like
• 5:53
  super
• 5:54
  duper
• 5:54
  body
• 5:54
  whore.
• 5:55
  Not
• 5:55
  that
• 5:55
  it
• 5:55
  can't
• 5:55
  be
• 5:55
  in
• 5:56
  a
• 5:56
  film,
• 5:56
  but
• 5:56
  if
• 5:56
  it's
• 5:57
  like
• 5:57
  the
• 5:57
  main
• 5:57
  focus,
• 5:58
  I'm
• 5:58
  done.
• 5:59
  I'm
• 5:59
  also
• 6:00
  not
• 6:00
  big
• 6:00
  on
• 6:02
  rape
• 6:02
  and
• 6:02
  revenge
• 6:03
  horror
• 6:03
  films.
• 6:04
  It.
• 6:04
  That
• 6:05
  just
• 6:05
  unsettles
• 6:06
  me
• 6:06
  immensely.
• 6:06
  And
• 6:06
  I
• 6:06
  know
• 6:07
  it's
• 6:07
  an
• 6:07
  important
• 6:07
  subject
• 6:08
  matter
• 6:08
  to
• 6:08
  discuss.
• 6:08
  I'm
• 6:08
  not
• 6:09
  against
• 6:09
  discussing
• 6:09
  it.
• 6:10
  It's
• 6:10
  just
• 6:10
  I
• 6:10
  don't
• 6:11
  want
• 6:11
  to
• 6:11
  see
• 6:11
  that
• 6:11
  on
• 6:11
  screen.
• 6:12
  And
• 6:12
  some
• 6:12
  of
• 6:13
  those
• 6:13
  go
• 6:13
  way
• 6:13
  too
• 6:13
  far.
• 6:14
  The
• 6:14
  Saws
• 6:15
  and
• 6:15
  all
• 6:15
  of
• 6:15
  that.
• 6:16
  Like,
• 6:16
  I
• 6:16
  don't
• 6:16
  y.
• 6:17
  The
• 6:17
  torture
• 6:17
  porn.
• 6:18
  No,
• 6:20
  yeah,
• 6:21
  that's
• 6:21
  fine.
• 6:22
  They're
• 6:22
  smart,
• 6:22
  they're
• 6:22
  chopping
• 6:23
  hands
• 6:23
  off.
• 6:24
  I
• 6:24
  don't
• 6:24
  care.
• 6:27
  But,
• 6:27
  like,
• 6:27
  conversely,
• 6:28
  I
• 6:28
  can
• 6:28
  take
• 6:28
  a
• 6:28
  slasher.
• 6:29
  I
• 6:29
  can
• 6:30
  take,
• 6:30
  you
• 6:30
  know,
• 6:30
  some
• 6:30
  of
• 6:31
  the
• 6:31
  gruesome
• 6:31
  things
• 6:31
  that
• 6:31
  happen.
• 6:32
  Because,
• 6:32
  yeah,
• 6:32
  there's
• 6:33
  going
• 6:33
  to
• 6:33
  be
• 6:33
  some
• 6:33
  gory
• 6:33
  scenes
• 6:34
  depending
• 6:34
  on
• 6:34
  what
• 6:34
  franchise
• 6:35
  you're
• 6:35
  watching,
• 6:35
  but
• 6:35
  it's
• 6:35
  not
• 6:36
  like
• 6:36
  the
• 6:36
  main
• 6:36
  focus,
• 6:38
  so
• 6:38
  you
• 6:38
  can
• 6:39
  move
• 6:39
  on
• 6:39
  to
• 6:39
  something
• 6:39
  else.
• 6:40
  Right.
• 6:40
  And
• 6:40
  it
• 6:40
  feels
• 6:41
  less.
• 6:41
  This
• 6:42
  sounds
• 6:42
  weird.
• 6:43
  I
• 6:43
  haven't
• 6:43
  really
• 6:43
  thought
• 6:43
  about.
• 6:44
  It
• 6:44
  feels
• 6:44
  less
• 6:45
  malicious.
• 6:46
  It's
• 6:47
  like
• 6:47
  an
• 6:47
  alien
• 6:48
  or
• 6:48
  Jason
• 6:49
  or
• 6:49
  Freddie.
• 6:49
  Like,
• 6:49
  you're
• 6:50
  right.
• 6:50
  It's
• 6:50
  not
• 6:50
  just
• 6:51
  like
• 6:51
  perpetual.
• 6:53
  Just
• 6:54
  gross
• 6:54
  for
• 6:55
  gross.
• 6:55
  Like
• 6:55
  they're
• 6:55
  going
• 6:56
  to
• 6:56
  kill
• 6:56
  people.
• 6:56
  Yeah.
• 6:57
  I
• 6:57
  mean,
• 6:58
  yeah,
• 6:58
  but,
• 6:59
  like,
• 6:59
  and.
• 6:59
  But
• 7:00
  you've
• 7:00
  almost
• 7:00
  prepared
• 7:01
  yourself
• 7:01
  for
• 7:01
  that.
• 7:02
  Like,
• 7:02
  I
• 7:02
  feel
• 7:02
  like
• 7:02
  there's
• 7:03
  a
• 7:03
  rhythm
• 7:03
  to
• 7:04
  some
• 7:04
  of
• 7:04
  these,
• 7:04
  like,
• 7:05
  slasher
• 7:05
  films
• 7:06
  where
• 7:06
  you're
• 7:07
  like,
• 7:07
  okay.
• 7:07
  And
• 7:08
  even
• 7:08
  Jason.
• 7:08
  I
• 7:08
  told
• 7:09
  my
• 7:09
  podcast
• 7:10
  Christie
• 7:10
  this
• 7:11
  because
• 7:11
  she
• 7:11
  hates
• 7:12
  horror.
• 7:12
  And
• 7:12
  I'm
• 7:13
  like,
• 7:13
  look,
• 7:13
  you
• 7:14
  always
• 7:14
  know
• 7:14
  when
• 7:14
  Jason's
• 7:15
  about
• 7:15
  to
• 7:15
  kill
• 7:15
  somebody,
• 7:15
  he's
• 7:16
  got
• 7:16
  his
• 7:16
  own
• 7:16
  theme
• 7:16
  music.
• 7:17
  If
• 7:18
  you
• 7:18
  hear
• 7:18
  that
• 7:20
  in
• 7:20
  the
• 7:20
  background,
• 7:21
  just
• 7:22
  fast
• 7:22
  forward,
• 7:24
  like
• 7:24
  they're
• 7:25
  warning
• 7:25
  you.
• 7:25
  It's.
• 7:26
  It's
• 7:26
  about
• 7:26
  to
• 7:26
  happen.
• 7:28
  Yeah.
• 7:28
  So
• 7:29
  what
• 7:29
  do
• 7:29
  you
• 7:29
  say?
• 7:29
  Why
• 7:29
  don't
• 7:29
  we
• 7:30
  break
• 7:30
  down
• 7:30
  the
• 7:31
  film?
• 7:31
  What
• 7:31
  happens
• 7:32
  in
• 7:32
  Freddy
• 7:32
  vs.
• 7:33
  Jason?
• 7:35
  Well,
• 7:35
  it
• 7:36
  was
• 7:36
  very
• 7:36
  much.
• 7:36
  It
• 7:37
  feels
• 7:37
  like
• 7:37
  a
• 7:37
  fever
• 7:38
  with
• 7:38
  some
• 7:38
  of
• 7:38
  these
• 7:38
  crossovers,
• 7:39
  like
• 7:39
  when
• 7:39
  you
• 7:40
  describe
• 7:40
  the
• 7:40
  plot.
• 7:41
  So
• 7:41
  I
• 7:41
  was
• 7:41
  describing
• 7:41
  the
• 7:42
  plot
• 7:42
  to
• 7:42
  A.L.I.E.
• 7:43
  versus
• 7:43
  Predator,
• 7:44
  and
• 7:44
  at
• 7:44
  one
• 7:45
  stage
• 7:45
  I
• 7:45
  just
• 7:45
  started
• 7:45
  laughing
• 7:46
  because
• 7:46
  I
• 7:46
  was
• 7:46
  like,
• 7:46
  this
• 7:47
  sounds
• 7:47
  so
• 7:47
  insane.
• 7:49
  Because
• 7:49
  it
• 7:49
  is.
• 7:51
  I
• 7:51
  was
• 7:51
  like,
• 7:53
  for
• 7:53
  reasons.
• 7:53
  Anyway,
• 7:54
  so
• 7:56
  right
• 7:56
  there.
• 7:57
  Whatever.
• 7:58
  So
• 7:58
  the
• 7:59
  Freddy
• 8:00
  versus
• 8:00
  Jason,
• 8:00
  essentially.
• 8:02
  Well,
• 8:02
  I
• 8:03
  rewatched
• 8:03
  it
• 8:03
  fairly
• 8:04
  recently,
• 8:04
  I
• 8:05
  think
• 8:05
  last
• 8:05
  year,
• 8:05
  but
• 8:06
  I.
• 8:06
  I
• 8:06
  reviewed
• 8:07
  it.
• 8:07
  But
• 8:07
  essentially
• 8:08
  it.
• 8:09
  They
• 8:09
  have
• 8:09
  to
• 8:09
  make
• 8:09
  a
• 8:10
  world
• 8:10
  where
• 8:10
  both
• 8:10
  of
• 8:10
  them
• 8:11
  exist.
• 8:11
  And
• 8:12
  I
• 8:12
  sort
• 8:12
  of
• 8:12
  looked
• 8:12
  at
• 8:13
  the
• 8:13
  timeline
• 8:13
  and
• 8:13
  I
• 8:14
  think
• 8:14
  at
• 8:14
  this
• 8:14
  stage
• 8:15
  we're
• 8:15
  very
• 8:16
  much
• 8:16
  in
• 8:16
  at
• 8:17
  least.
• 8:18
  And
• 8:18
  the
• 8:18
  timelines
• 8:19
  for
• 8:19
  Freddie
• 8:19
  and
• 8:20
  Jason
• 8:20
  get.
• 8:20
  Are
• 8:21
  far
• 8:21
  less
• 8:22
  congruent
• 8:22
  than
• 8:22
  even
• 8:23
  Alien.
• 8:24
  But
• 8:24
  I
• 8:25
  think
• 8:25
  Jason's
• 8:26
  gone
• 8:26
  to
• 8:26
  hell
• 8:26
  at
• 8:26
  this
• 8:26
  stage.
• 8:28
  Yes.
• 8:28
  He's
• 8:28
  also
• 8:29
  gone
• 8:29
  to
• 8:29
  space.
• 8:29
  I
• 8:30
  think
• 8:30
  that.
• 8:30
  Yeah,
• 8:31
  I'm
• 8:31
  pretty
• 8:31
  sure
• 8:31
  that
• 8:31
  happened
• 8:32
  before
• 8:32
  this
• 8:32
  one.
• 8:34
  It's
• 8:34
  so
• 8:34
  insane.
• 8:35
  Okay,
• 8:35
  so
• 8:35
  Jason's
• 8:36
  in
• 8:36
  Hill.
• 8:37
  So
• 8:37
  Freddy
• 8:39
  is
• 8:39
  essentially
• 8:41
  part
• 8:41
  of
• 8:41
  Freddy's
• 8:42
  power
• 8:42
  comes
• 8:42
  from
• 8:42
  people
• 8:43
  being
• 8:43
  afraid
• 8:43
  of
• 8:43
  them.
• 8:44
  And
• 8:44
  that's
• 8:44
  very
• 8:44
  much
• 8:45
  established
• 8:45
  in
• 8:46
  the
• 8:46
  movies.
• 8:46
  And
• 8:47
  so
• 8:47
  he
• 8:48
  is
• 8:49
  basically
• 8:50
  Elm
• 8:50
  street
• 8:51
  has.
• 8:52
  Well,
• 8:52
  in
• 8:52
  this
• 8:53
  area
• 8:53
  where
• 8:53
  he
• 8:53
  terrorized,
• 8:55
  has
• 8:55
  essentially
• 8:55
  taken
• 8:56
  anyone
• 8:56
  who
• 8:56
  had
• 8:57
  ever
• 8:57
  encountered
• 8:58
  Freddy
• 8:59
  and
• 8:59
  put
• 8:59
  them
• 8:59
  in
• 9:00
  this
• 9:00
  sort
• 9:00
  of,
• 9:01
  guess,
• 9:01
  an
• 9:01
  insane
• 9:01
  asylum
• 9:02
  and
• 9:02
  pump
• 9:03
  them
• 9:03
  full
• 9:03
  of
• 9:03
  this
• 9:04
  drug
• 9:04
  where
• 9:05
  they
• 9:05
  basically
• 9:06
  wouldn't.
• 9:06
  I
• 9:06
  guess
• 9:07
  they'd
• 9:07
  have
• 9:07
  sleep,
• 9:08
  dreamless
• 9:08
  sleep,
• 9:09
  so
• 9:09
  they
• 9:09
  couldn't.
• 9:10
  Or
• 9:10
  that
• 9:10
  kind
• 9:10
  of
• 9:11
  thing.
• 9:11
  So.
• 9:11
  So
• 9:12
  they're
• 9:12
  trying
• 9:12
  to
• 9:12
  wipe
• 9:13
  out
• 9:13
  the
• 9:13
  memory
• 9:13
  of
• 9:13
  him,
• 9:14
  essentially,
• 9:15
  because
• 9:15
  they
• 9:15
  figured
• 9:15
  this
• 9:16
  all,
• 9:19
  you
• 9:19
  know,
• 9:20
  he.
• 9:20
  He's
• 9:20
  not
• 9:21
  into
• 9:21
  that.
• 9:22
  He
• 9:22
  wants
• 9:22
  his
• 9:22
  power
• 9:23
  back.
• 9:24
  So
• 9:24
  he
• 9:24
  decides
• 9:25
  to
• 9:27
  resurrect
• 9:27
  Jason.
• 9:28
  Hell,
• 9:30
  it's
• 9:30
  a
• 9:30
  lot
• 9:30
  of
• 9:30
  theological
• 9:32
  mind
• 9:32
  turns
• 9:33
  that
• 9:33
  we're
• 9:33
  doing
• 9:33
  here
• 9:35
  and
• 9:35
  to
• 9:35
  bring
• 9:35
  him
• 9:36
  back
• 9:37
  so
• 9:37
  that
• 9:37
  Freddie
• 9:38
  can
• 9:38
  essentially
• 9:38
  gain
• 9:39
  back
• 9:39
  power
• 9:39
  through
• 9:40
  fear
• 9:40
  that
• 9:41
  Jason
• 9:41
  would
• 9:42
  enact.
• 9:43
  And
• 9:43
  again,
• 9:43
  you
• 9:43
  can
• 9:43
  correct
• 9:44
  me,
• 9:44
  it's
• 9:44
  been
• 9:44
  a
• 9:44
  minute,
• 9:44
  but
• 9:45
  so
• 9:45
  Jason.
• 9:46
  This
• 9:46
  is
• 9:46
  going
• 9:46
  to
• 9:46
  come
• 9:46
  as
• 9:46
  a
• 9:47
  shock
• 9:47
  to
• 9:47
  no
• 9:47
  one.
• 9:47
  Jason
• 9:48
  does,
• 9:48
  in
• 9:48
  fact,
• 9:48
  get
• 9:49
  brought
• 9:50
  back
• 9:50
  to
• 9:50
  Earth
• 9:51
  and
• 9:51
  he
• 9:51
  doesn't
• 9:52
  do
• 9:52
  what
• 9:52
  Freddy
• 9:53
  tells
• 9:53
  him
• 9:53
  to
• 9:53
  do.
• 9:54
  Imagine
• 9:54
  that,
• 9:55
  because
• 9:55
  he's
• 9:55
  Jason
• 9:57
  now,
• 9:58
  he
• 9:58
  does
• 9:58
  start
• 9:58
  terrorizing
• 9:59
  people.
• 10:00
  There's
• 10:00
  a
• 10:00
  real
• 10:01
  scary
• 10:02
  sort
• 10:02
  of
• 10:02
  scene
• 10:03
  of
• 10:03
  him
• 10:03
  in
• 10:03
  a
• 10:03
  cornfield
• 10:04
  at
• 10:04
  this,
• 10:04
  like,
• 10:04
  party
• 10:05
  outside
• 10:05
  party,
• 10:06
  and
• 10:07
  he's
• 10:07
  going
• 10:07
  nuts
• 10:08
  to
• 10:08
  all
• 10:08
  these,
• 10:08
  like,
• 10:08
  high
• 10:09
  school
• 10:09
  kids.
• 10:09
  So
• 10:10
  essentially
• 10:13
  that
• 10:13
  Jason
• 10:13
  is,
• 10:13
  like,
• 10:14
  out
• 10:14
  of
• 10:14
  control.
• 10:15
  And
• 10:15
  he
• 10:16
  thinks
• 10:16
  if
• 10:16
  he
• 10:17
  can
• 10:17
  get
• 10:17
  him
• 10:17
  back
• 10:17
  to
• 10:18
  Camp
• 10:18
  Crystal
• 10:18
  Lake,
• 10:19
  that
• 10:19
  there's
• 10:19
  some
• 10:19
  way
• 10:19
  that
• 10:20
  he
• 10:20
  can
• 10:20
  sort
• 10:20
  of,
• 10:21
  I
• 10:21
  guess,
• 10:22
  drag
• 10:22
  him
• 10:22
  back
• 10:22
  to
• 10:23
  hell
• 10:23
  to
• 10:23
  use
• 10:23
  another
• 10:24
  horror
• 10:24
  film.
• 10:25
  And
• 10:25
  so
• 10:25
  he
• 10:25
  takes
• 10:25
  him
• 10:26
  to
• 10:26
  Camp
• 10:26
  Crystal
• 10:26
  Lake.
• 10:28
  And
• 10:28
  I
• 10:28
  should
• 10:29
  say,
• 10:29
  alongside
• 10:29
  of
• 10:30
  this,
• 10:30
  of
• 10:30
  course,
• 10:30
  there's
• 10:30
  a
• 10:31
  merry
• 10:31
  band
• 10:31
  of
• 10:31
  people
• 10:32
  that
• 10:32
  are
• 10:32
  trying
• 10:32
  to.
• 10:33
  To
• 10:33
  stay
• 10:33
  alive,
• 10:34
  and
• 10:34
  Freddy's
• 10:35
  terrorizing
• 10:36
  them
• 10:36
  and
• 10:36
  Jason's
• 10:37
  terrorizing
• 10:37
  them,
• 10:37
  and
• 10:38
  they're
• 10:38
  trying
• 10:38
  to
• 10:38
  figure
• 10:38
  all
• 10:39
  this
• 10:39
  out.
• 10:40
  They
• 10:40
  go
• 10:40
  to
• 10:40
  the
• 10:41
  insane
• 10:41
  asylum
• 10:41
  to
• 10:42
  get
• 10:42
  the
• 10:42
  serum
• 10:43
  and
• 10:44
  Freddy
• 10:44
  destroys
• 10:45
  it,
• 10:45
  and
• 10:46
  et
• 10:46
  cetera,
• 10:46
  et
• 10:47
  cetera.
• 10:47
  So
• 10:47
  it
• 10:47
  all
• 10:48
  culminates
• 10:48
  Camp
• 10:48
  Crystal
• 10:49
  Lake,
• 10:49
  where
• 10:50
  there
• 10:50
  is
• 10:50
  a
• 10:50
  final
• 10:50
  boss
• 10:51
  battle
• 10:51
  between
• 10:51
  Freddy
• 10:52
  and
• 10:52
  Jason.
• 10:53
  And
• 10:53
  I
• 10:53
  don't
• 10:54
  know
• 10:54
  if
• 10:54
  you
• 10:54
  want
• 10:54
  me
• 10:54
  to
• 10:54
  say
• 10:55
  the
• 10:55
  end,
• 10:55
  but,
• 10:56
  I.
• 10:56
  Mean,
• 10:56
  it's
• 10:57
  been
• 10:57
  out
• 10:57
  for
• 10:57
  over
• 10:57
  20
• 10:57
  years.
• 10:58
  Okay,
• 11:00
  spoiler
• 11:00
  alert.
• 11:00
  There
• 11:01
  are
• 11:01
  two
• 11:02
  ghosts.
• 11:03
  They
• 11:04
  do
• 11:04
  this
• 11:04
  battle,
• 11:05
  and
• 11:05
  it's
• 11:05
  very,
• 11:05
  like,
• 11:05
  battle
• 11:06
  rific
• 11:06
  and
• 11:06
  very
• 11:07
  satisfying
• 11:07
  in
• 11:08
  a
• 11:08
  sense.
• 11:08
  And
• 11:09
  they
• 11:09
  fall
• 11:09
  in
• 11:09
  the
• 11:09
  water
• 11:10
  because
• 11:10
  Jason's
• 11:10
  deathly
• 11:11
  afraid
• 11:11
  of
• 11:11
  the
• 11:11
  water
• 11:11
  because
• 11:12
  of
• 11:12
  drowning
• 11:14
  as
• 11:14
  a
• 11:14
  child.
• 11:15
  And
• 11:17
  essentially,
• 11:18
  Freddie
• 11:18
  gets,
• 11:18
  like,
• 11:19
  his
• 11:19
  hand
• 11:19
  cut
• 11:19
  off
• 11:20
  and,
• 11:20
  like,
• 11:20
  Jason's
• 11:21
  using
• 11:21
  the
• 11:21
  hand
• 11:22
  to,
• 11:22
  like,
• 11:22
  get
• 11:23
  Freddy.
• 11:24
  And
• 11:24
  then
• 11:25
  the
• 11:25
  end
• 11:25
  sort
• 11:26
  of
• 11:26
  scene
• 11:26
  is
• 11:26
  Jason
• 11:27
  coming
• 11:27
  out
• 11:27
  of
• 11:27
  the
• 11:27
  water
• 11:28
  with
• 11:28
  Freddy's
• 11:28
  head.
• 11:29
  And
• 11:29
  then
• 11:30
  you're
• 11:30
  like,
• 11:30
  oh,
• 11:31
  so
• 11:31
  Jason
• 11:31
  won,
• 11:32
  like,
• 11:32
  well
• 11:32
  done,
• 11:33
  home
• 11:33
  turf
• 11:34
  advantage.
• 11:34
  But
• 11:35
  Freddy
• 11:36
  winks
• 11:36
  at
• 11:37
  the
• 11:37
  camera
• 11:37
  at
• 11:37
  the
• 11:38
  end
• 11:38
  and.
• 11:39
  Yeah,
• 11:40
  that's
• 11:40
  the
• 11:40
  end.
• 11:43
  And
• 11:44
  well
• 11:44
  said,
• 11:44
  by
• 11:45
  the
• 11:45
  way,
• 11:45
  in
• 11:46
  one
• 11:46
  proposed
• 11:48
  ending
• 11:49
  they
• 11:50
  would
• 11:50
  have
• 11:50
  been
• 11:50
  drawn
• 11:51
  back
• 11:51
  down
• 11:51
  to
• 11:51
  hell
• 11:52
  and
• 11:52
  Pinhead
• 11:53
  would
• 11:53
  have
• 11:53
  been
• 11:53
  there.
• 11:55
  The
• 11:56
  Hellraiser
• 11:56
  films.
• 11:57
  And
• 11:57
  that's
• 11:57
  another
• 11:57
  film
• 11:58
  franchise
• 11:59
  I'm
• 11:59
  not
• 11:59
  into.
• 11:59
  It
• 11:59
  just
• 12:00
  doesn't
• 12:00
  work
• 12:00
  for
• 12:00
  me.
• 12:01
  But
• 12:01
  you
• 12:01
  know
• 12:01
  what
• 12:02
  if
• 12:02
  they
• 12:02
  wanted
• 12:02
  to
• 12:02
  do
• 12:02
  that?
• 12:03
  Sure,
• 12:04
  but
• 12:04
  that's
• 12:05
  not
• 12:05
  what
• 12:05
  we
• 12:05
  got.
• 12:05
  In
• 12:06
  the
• 12:06
  first
• 12:06
  one.
• 12:06
  And
• 12:06
  it
• 12:06
  would
• 12:07
  have
• 12:07
  been
• 12:07
  like
• 12:07
  a
• 12:07
  decade
• 12:08
  ago.
• 12:08
  It
• 12:08
  didn't
• 12:08
  make
• 12:08
  an
• 12:09
  impression.
• 12:09
  But
• 12:09
  like
• 12:10
  just
• 12:11
  because
• 12:12
  this
• 12:12
  film
• 12:12
  is
• 12:12
  clearly
• 12:13
  fan
• 12:13
  service,
• 12:14
  which
• 12:14
  is
• 12:14
  a
• 12:14
  lot
• 12:14
  of.
• 12:15
  But
• 12:16
  like
• 12:16
  just
• 12:16
  to
• 12:17
  even
• 12:17
  have
• 12:17
  the
• 12:17
  figure
• 12:18
  of
• 12:18
  Pinhead
• 12:19
  down
• 12:19
  there,
• 12:19
  I
• 12:20
  think
• 12:20
  would
• 12:20
  like
• 12:20
  make
• 12:21
  the
• 12:21
  horror
• 12:22
  people
• 12:22
  be
• 12:22
  excited.
• 12:23
  There
• 12:23
  were
• 12:24
  also
• 12:24
  plans
• 12:24
  to
• 12:24
  include
• 12:24
  the
• 12:25
  Necronomicon,
• 12:25
  obviously
• 12:26
  from
• 12:26
  Evil
• 12:26
  Dead.
• 12:28
  Oh
• 12:28
  yeah.
• 12:29
  I
• 12:29
  don't
• 12:29
  think
• 12:30
  rights
• 12:30
  weren't
• 12:31
  established
• 12:31
  to
• 12:31
  be
• 12:31
  able
• 12:31
  to
• 12:32
  do
• 12:32
  it
• 12:32
  or
• 12:32
  something
• 12:32
  like
• 12:32
  that.
• 12:33
  So
• 12:33
  this
• 12:34
  is
• 12:34
  what
• 12:34
  we
• 12:34
  got.
• 12:35
  So
• 12:36
  before
• 12:36
  we
• 12:36
  actually
• 12:36
  had
• 12:37
  that
• 12:37
  way.
• 12:37
  Let's
• 12:38
  talk
• 12:38
  about
• 12:38
  what
• 12:38
  you
• 12:38
  love,
• 12:38
  what
• 12:39
  we
• 12:39
  don't
• 12:39
  love
• 12:39
  about
• 12:39
  the
• 12:39
  movie.
• 12:40
  Why
• 12:40
  don't
• 12:40
  you
• 12:40
  go
• 12:40
  ahead
• 12:40
  and
• 12:40
  take
• 12:40
  it
• 12:41
  away?
• 12:41
  Yeah,
• 12:41
  absolutely.
• 12:42
  Well,
• 12:42
  I
• 12:42
  love.
• 12:43
  Because
• 12:44
  I
• 12:44
  love
• 12:44
  both
• 12:45
  those
• 12:45
  franchises
• 12:46
  like
• 12:46
  Nightmare.
• 12:47
  I'm
• 12:47
  big
• 12:47
  into
• 12:47
  slasher.
• 12:48
  The
• 12:48
  slasher
• 12:49
  films
• 12:49
  like
• 12:49
  Scream
• 12:50
  is
• 12:50
  my
• 12:50
  all
• 12:50
  time
• 12:50
  favorite,
• 12:51
  as
• 12:51
  I've
• 12:51
  said
• 12:51
  before.
• 12:52
  So
• 12:52
  these
• 12:53
  films
• 12:53
  are
• 12:53
  like
• 12:54
  to
• 12:54
  me
• 12:55
  in
• 12:55
  Halloween.
• 12:56
  I
• 12:56
  watch
• 12:56
  every
• 12:57
  single
• 12:57
  Halloween.
• 12:58
  There's
• 12:58
  something
• 12:59
  about
• 12:59
  those
• 13:00
  films
• 13:00
  that
• 13:02
  hit
• 13:02
  a
• 13:02
  nostalgia
• 13:03
  for
• 13:03
  me,
• 13:03
  which
• 13:03
  we
• 13:03
  can.
• 13:04
  We
• 13:05
  probably
• 13:05
  need
• 13:05
  to
• 13:05
  go
• 13:05
  to
• 13:05
  therapy
• 13:06
  about
• 13:06
  that.
• 13:06
  But
• 13:06
  they
• 13:06
  do
• 13:07
  and,
• 13:08
  and
• 13:09
  they're.
• 13:09
  I
• 13:09
  find
• 13:09
  them
• 13:10
  easy
• 13:10
  to
• 13:10
  watch
• 13:11
  like,
• 13:12
  because
• 13:13
  their
• 13:13
  lore
• 13:14
  is
• 13:14
  not
• 13:14
  that
• 13:14
  complicated.
• 13:15
  Like
• 13:15
  it's
• 13:16
  not
• 13:16
  necessarily
• 13:17
  like,
• 13:17
  you
• 13:18
  know,
• 13:18
  you
• 13:18
  don't
• 13:19
  have
• 13:19
  to
• 13:19
  think
• 13:20
  too
• 13:20
  hard
• 13:21
  about
• 13:21
  it.
• 13:22
  And
• 13:22
  like
• 13:22
  at
• 13:23
  the
• 13:23
  same
• 13:23
  time
• 13:23
  you
• 13:24
  can
• 13:24
  be
• 13:24
  very
• 13:25
  scared.
• 13:26
  Which
• 13:26
  is
• 13:26
  fun
• 13:26
  too
• 13:27
  because
• 13:29
  most
• 13:29
  of
• 13:29
  the
• 13:29
  kills
• 13:29
  are
• 13:30
  fairly
• 13:30
  predictable.
• 13:31
  Like
• 13:31
  there's
• 13:32
  still
• 13:32
  elements
• 13:32
  of
• 13:32
  like,
• 13:33
  will
• 13:33
  they
• 13:33
  get
• 13:33
  away?
• 13:33
  Well,
• 13:34
  won't
• 13:34
  they?
• 13:34
  You
• 13:35
  know,
• 13:35
  that
• 13:35
  kind
• 13:35
  of
• 13:35
  thing.
• 13:36
  So
• 13:36
  I
• 13:37
  like
• 13:37
  the
• 13:37
  two
• 13:37
  genres
• 13:38
  they
• 13:38
  tried.
• 13:39
  They
• 13:39
  redid
• 13:40
  Nightmare
• 13:40
  on
• 13:40
  Elm
• 13:41
  Street.
• 13:41
  I
• 13:41
  don't
• 13:41
  know
• 13:41
  if
• 13:41
  you
• 13:41
  saw
• 13:42
  the
• 13:42
  remake
• 13:42
  that
• 13:42
  they
• 13:42
  did.
• 13:43
  Yes,
• 13:43
  with
• 13:44
  Haley
• 13:45
  as
• 13:46
  Freddy
• 13:46
  or
• 13:47
  whatever
• 13:47
  his
• 13:47
  name
• 13:47
  is.
• 13:48
  England,
• 13:49
  I
• 13:49
  don't
• 13:49
  think
• 13:49
  any.
• 13:50
  Or
• 13:50
  is
• 13:50
  that
• 13:51
  Robert
• 13:51
  England?
• 13:51
  Robert
• 13:52
  England,
• 13:52
  that's
• 13:53
  right.
• 13:53
  That's.
• 13:54
  He's
• 13:54
  got.
• 13:54
  He's
• 13:54
  a
• 13:55
  three
• 13:55
  name
• 13:55
  actor,
• 13:55
  whatever
• 13:56
  his
• 13:56
  name
• 13:56
  is.
• 13:56
  Like
• 13:56
  Jackie
• 13:57
  Haley
• 13:58
  or
• 13:58
  something
• 13:58
  like
• 13:58
  that.
• 13:58
  I
• 13:59
  can't
• 13:59
  remember
• 13:59
  but
• 14:00
  it
• 14:00
  was.
• 14:01
  They
• 14:02
  redid
• 14:02
  it
• 14:02
  and
• 14:02
  essentially
• 14:03
  I'm
• 14:03
  gonna
• 14:03
  call
• 14:04
  it
• 14:04
  the
• 14:04
  Ridley
• 14:05
  Scott
• 14:05
  Makeover.
• 14:06
  They
• 14:06
  really
• 14:06
  tried
• 14:07
  to
• 14:07
  give
• 14:07
  Freddy
• 14:08
  like
• 14:09
  story
• 14:10
  because
• 14:10
  you
• 14:10
  get
• 14:10
  it
• 14:11
  sprinkled
• 14:11
  in
• 14:11
  that
• 14:12
  he's
• 14:12
  done
• 14:13
  throughout
• 14:13
  the
• 14:13
  original.
• 14:14
  It's
• 14:15
  implied
• 14:16
  that
• 14:16
  he
• 14:16
  said
• 14:16
  quite
• 14:17
  out
• 14:17
  loud
• 14:18
  right
• 14:18
  I
• 14:18
  mean,
• 14:18
  there's,
• 14:19
  like,
• 14:19
  little
• 14:19
  kids
• 14:19
  stuff
• 14:20
  and.
• 14:20
  And
• 14:21
  he's
• 14:21
  been
• 14:21
  burnt
• 14:22
  alive.
• 14:23
  And
• 14:23
  it's.
• 14:23
  There's
• 14:23
  a
• 14:24
  lot
• 14:24
  of,
• 14:24
  like,
• 14:24
  hinting
• 14:25
  that
• 14:25
  he
• 14:25
  has
• 14:25
  done
• 14:25
  something
• 14:26
  very
• 14:26
  nefarious
• 14:27
  to
• 14:27
  young
• 14:27
  children
• 14:28
  and
• 14:28
  that
• 14:30
  the
• 14:30
  townspeople,
• 14:31
  like,
• 14:31
  rebelled
• 14:32
  against
• 14:32
  that.
• 14:32
  These
• 14:33
  original
• 14:33
  movies
• 14:33
  really
• 14:34
  are
• 14:34
  those.
• 14:34
  The
• 14:35
  new
• 14:35
  movies
• 14:35
  really
• 14:36
  tried
• 14:36
  to
• 14:37
  really
• 14:37
  explain
• 14:37
  the
• 14:38
  lore.
• 14:38
  Like,
• 14:38
  they
• 14:38
  made
• 14:39
  him
• 14:39
  like
• 14:39
  a
• 14:39
  janitor.
• 14:40
  Like,
• 14:40
  they
• 14:40
  brought
• 14:41
  it
• 14:41
  all
• 14:41
  out,
• 14:41
  like,
• 14:42
  did
• 14:42
  all
• 14:42
  of
• 14:42
  this
• 14:42
  stuff.
• 14:43
  And
• 14:43
  so
• 14:43
  I
• 14:44
  think
• 14:44
  they
• 14:44
  were
• 14:44
  good.
• 14:45
  I
• 14:45
  like
• 14:45
  them,
• 14:45
  but
• 14:46
  I
• 14:46
  don't
• 14:46
  necessarily
• 14:46
  think
• 14:47
  they
• 14:47
  were
• 14:47
  necessary.
• 14:48
  Like,
• 14:48
  in
• 14:49
  a
• 14:49
  sense
• 14:49
  that
• 14:50
  I
• 14:50
  liked
• 14:50
  the
• 14:50
  aliens
• 14:51
  having
• 14:51
  the
• 14:51
  Ridley
• 14:52
  Scott
• 14:52
  effect
• 14:52
  of
• 14:53
  getting
• 14:53
  that
• 14:53
  background.
• 14:54
  Like,
• 14:54
  Jason,
• 14:55
  you
• 14:55
  never
• 14:55
  really
• 14:55
  get
• 14:56
  that
• 14:57
  he
• 14:58
  just
• 14:59
  drowns
• 14:59
  because
• 15:00
  his
• 15:00
  camp
• 15:00
  counselors
• 15:01
  were
• 15:02
  having
• 15:02
  sex
• 15:02
  and
• 15:03
  drinking.
• 15:04
  And
• 15:04
  then,
• 15:05
  you
• 15:05
  know,
• 15:05
  he's
• 15:06
  now
• 15:06
  been
• 15:06
  on
• 15:06
  this
• 15:06
  revenge
• 15:07
  tour
• 15:07
  ever
• 15:08
  since.
• 15:08
  I
• 15:08
  don't
• 15:09
  know
• 15:09
  that
• 15:09
  there's
• 15:09
  much
• 15:09
  more
• 15:10
  to
• 15:10
  it
• 15:10
  than
• 15:10
  that.
• 15:11
  He
• 15:11
  like
• 15:12
  his.
• 15:13
  His
• 15:13
  mom
• 15:13
  in
• 15:14
  the
• 15:14
  first
• 15:14
  film.
• 15:14
  He
• 15:15
  doesn't
• 15:15
  get
• 15:15
  the
• 15:15
  mask
• 15:15
  until
• 15:16
  the
• 15:16
  third
• 15:16
  film.
• 15:18
  He
• 15:19
  just
• 15:19
  whatever
• 15:19
  serves
• 15:19
  the
• 15:19
  plot.
• 15:20
  That's
• 15:20
  what
• 15:20
  Jason
• 15:20
  is.
• 15:21
  He's
• 15:21
  a
• 15:22
  slow
• 15:22
  mover.
• 15:22
  You
• 15:23
  can
• 15:23
  Usually
• 15:24
  you.
• 15:25
  The
• 15:25
  problem
• 15:25
  is
• 15:26
  when
• 15:26
  you.
• 15:26
  This
• 15:27
  sounds
• 15:28
  ridiculous,
• 15:28
  but
• 15:29
  the
• 15:29
  problem
• 15:29
  is
• 15:29
  when
• 15:29
  you
• 15:29
  stop
• 15:30
  to
• 15:30
  drink
• 15:30
  or
• 15:31
  have
• 15:31
  sex,
• 15:31
  you
• 15:32
  see
• 15:32
  your
• 15:32
  body
• 15:32
  quits
• 15:33
  moving
• 15:33
  in
• 15:33
  a
• 15:33
  forward
• 15:34
  motion.
• 15:34
  Unless
• 15:35
  you're
• 15:35
  just
• 15:35
  a
• 15:35
  very
• 15:36
  active
• 15:36
  drinker,
• 15:38
  like
• 15:38
  a
• 15:38
  jogger
• 15:39
  while
• 15:39
  you
• 15:39
  drink.
• 15:40
  Because
• 15:40
  you
• 15:40
  really
• 15:41
  just
• 15:41
  need
• 15:41
  to
• 15:41
  have
• 15:41
  a
• 15:42
  solid
• 15:42
  pace,
• 15:44
  just
• 15:44
  a
• 15:45
  solid
• 15:45
  forward
• 15:45
  pace.
• 15:46
  But
• 15:46
  he
• 15:46
  always
• 15:47
  gets
• 15:47
  them,
• 15:48
  you
• 15:48
  know,
• 15:49
  because
• 15:49
  they.
• 15:50
  I
• 15:50
  imagine
• 15:50
  them
• 15:51
  being
• 15:51
  like,
• 15:51
  well,
• 15:51
  there's
• 15:51
  a
• 15:51
  killer
• 15:52
  here,
• 15:52
  but
• 15:53
  you're
• 15:53
  attractive
• 15:54
  and
• 15:54
  there's
• 15:54
  beer.
• 15:56
  So
• 15:56
  we're
• 15:56
  gonna
• 15:57
  have
• 15:57
  to
• 15:57
  stop
• 15:57
  and
• 15:58
  take
• 15:58
  a
• 15:58
  break,
• 15:59
  you
• 15:59
  know,
• 15:59
  and
• 15:59
  make
• 15:59
  poor
• 16:00
  decisions
• 16:01
  and
• 16:01
  make
• 16:01
  poor
• 16:02
  choices.
• 16:02
  And
• 16:03
  that,
• 16:03
  of
• 16:03
  course,
• 16:03
  is
• 16:03
  where
• 16:03
  you
• 16:04
  get
• 16:04
  the
• 16:04
  rules.
• 16:05
  Which
• 16:05
  I
• 16:05
  always
• 16:05
  love
• 16:06
  from
• 16:06
  Scream
• 16:06
  is
• 16:07
  whenever
• 16:07
  he's
• 16:08
  saying
• 16:08
  there's
• 16:09
  rules,
• 16:09
  you.
• 16:09
  You
• 16:09
  know,
• 16:10
  there's
• 16:10
  rules.
• 16:10
  Like,
• 16:11
  these
• 16:11
  are
• 16:11
  the
• 16:12
  rules
• 16:12
  to
• 16:12
  stay
• 16:12
  alive.
• 16:13
  And
• 16:13
  one
• 16:13
  of
• 16:13
  them
• 16:14
  is
• 16:14
  you
• 16:14
  don't
• 16:14
  drink
• 16:14
  and
• 16:14
  you
• 16:15
  don't
• 16:15
  have
• 16:15
  sex.
• 16:15
  And
• 16:15
  I
• 16:16
  love
• 16:16
  that
• 16:16
  is
• 16:16
  because
• 16:16
  they're.
• 16:17
  I
• 16:17
  mean,
• 16:17
  they're
• 16:18
  fun.
• 16:18
  Don't
• 16:18
  say,
• 16:18
  I'll
• 16:18
  be
• 16:18
  right
• 16:19
  back,
• 16:19
  because
• 16:19
  you
• 16:19
  won't,
• 16:21
  you
• 16:21
  know.
• 16:22
  But
• 16:22
  those
• 16:22
  first
• 16:22
  two
• 16:23
  are
• 16:23
  very
• 16:23
  much
• 16:24
  akin
• 16:24
  to
• 16:25
  the
• 16:25
  genres
• 16:25
  where
• 16:26
  it
• 16:26
  just
• 16:26
  seems
• 16:26
  like
• 16:27
  that
• 16:27
  there's
• 16:27
  some
• 16:28
  sort
• 16:28
  of
• 16:28
  moral
• 16:28
  agenda
• 16:29
  happening
• 16:29
  underneath
• 16:30
  as
• 16:30
  well.
• 16:31
  But,
• 16:32
  yeah,
• 16:32
  so
• 16:32
  I
• 16:32
  think
• 16:32
  they're
• 16:33
  just
• 16:33
  fun,
• 16:33
  nostalgic
• 16:34
  films.
• 16:36
  And
• 16:36
  they
• 16:36
  don't
• 16:36
  require
• 16:37
  a
• 16:37
  lot
• 16:37
  of,
• 16:37
  like,
• 16:37
  in
• 16:38
  depth.
• 16:38
  Which
• 16:38
  for
• 16:38
  me
• 16:39
  is
• 16:39
  weird
• 16:39
  because
• 16:39
  usually
• 16:40
  I'm
• 16:40
  like,
• 16:40
  I
• 16:40
  want
• 16:40
  them.
• 16:41
  I
• 16:41
  want
• 16:41
  the
• 16:41
  in
• 16:41
  depth.
• 16:42
  I
• 16:42
  want
• 16:42
  the
• 16:42
  history.
• 16:43
  I
• 16:43
  don't
• 16:44
  need
• 16:44
  it.
• 16:44
  Jason
• 16:45
  can
• 16:45
  Just
• 16:45
  be
• 16:45
  Jason
• 16:46
  sometimes.
• 16:47
  That's
• 16:47
  fine.
• 16:48
  I
• 16:48
  am.
• 16:49
  I
• 16:49
  prefer
• 16:49
  my
• 16:49
  absolutes.
• 16:50
  I
• 16:50
  prefer
• 16:50
  my
• 16:51
  backstories
• 16:51
  and
• 16:52
  everything.
• 16:53
  But
• 16:53
  you
• 16:53
  know
• 16:53
  what?
• 16:53
  I
• 16:53
  don't
• 16:53
  need
• 16:54
  to
• 16:54
  know
• 16:54
  where
• 16:54
  the
• 16:54
  Joker
• 16:54
  came
• 16:55
  from.
• 16:55
  I
• 16:55
  don't
• 16:55
  need
• 16:56
  to
• 16:56
  know
• 16:56
  why
• 16:56
  Jason
• 16:56
  can
• 16:57
  come
• 16:57
  back
• 16:57
  to
• 16:57
  life
• 16:57
  after
• 16:57
  being.
• 16:58
  Being
• 16:58
  beheaded
• 16:59
  in
• 16:59
  the
• 16:59
  last
• 16:59
  film
• 16:59
  that
• 17:00
  happened.
• 17:00
  You
• 17:00
  know
• 17:00
  what?
• 17:00
  It's
• 17:00
  fine.
• 17:00
  I
• 17:01
  want
• 17:01
  to
• 17:01
  see
• 17:01
  Jason
• 17:01
  killing
• 17:01
  people.
• 17:02
  You
• 17:02
  know,
• 17:03
  I
• 17:03
  want
• 17:03
  to
• 17:03
  see
• 17:03
  the
• 17:03
  joke.
• 17:04
  There's
• 17:04
  a
• 17:04
  comfort
• 17:05
  to
• 17:05
  knowing
• 17:05
  that
• 17:05
  they'll
• 17:06
  always
• 17:06
  be
• 17:06
  back.
• 17:07
  Yes,
• 17:08
  we're.
• 17:09
  There's
• 17:09
  a
• 17:09
  weird
• 17:09
  comfort,
• 17:10
  but
• 17:10
  it's
• 17:10
  like.
• 17:10
  So
• 17:11
  the
• 17:11
  kind
• 17:11
  of
• 17:11
  anxiety
• 17:12
  that
• 17:12
  I
• 17:12
  have
• 17:13
  right
• 17:13
  now
• 17:13
  with
• 17:14
  my
• 17:15
  slasher
• 17:15
  films
• 17:16
  is
• 17:16
  with
• 17:16
  Halloween,
• 17:17
  because
• 17:17
  Jamie
• 17:17
  Lee
• 17:18
  Curtis
• 17:18
  is
• 17:18
  a
• 17:19
  person
• 17:19
  who
• 17:20
  we
• 17:20
  can
• 17:20
  see
• 17:20
  getting
• 17:20
  older.
• 17:21
  And
• 17:22
  they've
• 17:22
  established
• 17:22
  Mike
• 17:23
  Myers
• 17:23
  is
• 17:23
  not
• 17:24
  supernatural,
• 17:25
  like,
• 17:25
  at
• 17:25
  least
• 17:26
  in
• 17:26
  the
• 17:26
  canon
• 17:27
  today.
• 17:27
  And
• 17:27
  the
• 17:27
  newest
• 17:27
  ones.
• 17:28
  Yes.
• 17:29
  Yeah.
• 17:29
  But
• 17:29
  even
• 17:30
  in
• 17:30
  the
• 17:30
  older
• 17:30
  ones,
• 17:30
  I
• 17:31
  mean,
• 17:31
  he
• 17:31
  can
• 17:31
  get
• 17:31
  stabbed
• 17:32
  a
• 17:32
  lot
• 17:32
  of
• 17:32
  times,
• 17:32
  but,
• 17:33
  like,
• 17:33
  he
• 17:33
  was
• 17:33
  that
• 17:34
  human
• 17:34
  child
• 17:35
  that
• 17:35
  got
• 17:35
  older.
• 17:36
  But
• 17:36
  the
• 17:37
  issue
• 17:37
  is
• 17:37
  that
• 17:38
  he's
• 17:38
  old
• 17:39
  now.
• 17:42
  So
• 17:42
  I
• 17:42
  am
• 17:42
  very
• 17:43
  interested
• 17:44
  in
• 17:44
  how
• 17:44
  they're
• 17:44
  gonna.
• 17:44
  Because
• 17:45
  there's
• 17:45
  no
• 17:45
  way
• 17:45
  they're
• 17:45
  gonna
• 17:46
  let
• 17:46
  go
• 17:46
  of
• 17:46
  that
• 17:46
  genre.
• 17:47
  But
• 17:47
  it'll
• 17:47
  be
• 17:47
  interesting,
• 17:48
  see
• 17:48
  what
• 17:49
  they
• 17:49
  do.
• 17:49
  There'll
• 17:49
  be
• 17:49
  another
• 17:50
  reboot,
• 17:50
  another
• 17:50
  remake
• 17:51
  along
• 17:51
  the
• 17:51
  way,
• 17:51
  and
• 17:51
  they'll
• 17:52
  probably
• 17:52
  just
• 17:52
  have
• 17:52
  to
• 17:53
  start
• 17:53
  over
• 17:53
  instead
• 17:53
  of
• 17:54
  doing
• 17:54
  the
• 17:54
  70s.
• 17:54
  Or
• 17:55
  maybe
• 17:55
  they
• 17:56
  could
• 17:56
  just
• 17:56
  do
• 17:56
  that
• 17:56
  there
• 17:57
  and
• 17:57
  make
• 17:58
  a
• 17:58
  franchise
• 17:58
  at
• 17:58
  that
• 17:58
  point.
• 17:59
  Or
• 17:59
  do
• 17:59
  it
• 17:59
  in
• 18:00
  a
• 18:00
  present.
• 18:00
  Yeah,
• 18:00
  yeah.
• 18:02
  It
• 18:02
  just
• 18:03
  works.
• 18:03
  They'll
• 18:04
  find
• 18:04
  the
• 18:04
  way
• 18:04
  to
• 18:04
  make
• 18:05
  money.
• 18:05
  Oh,
• 18:05
  yeah.
• 18:06
  And
• 18:06
  I'll
• 18:06
  find
• 18:06
  a
• 18:06
  way
• 18:07
  to
• 18:07
  watch
• 18:07
  it.
• 18:09
  So
• 18:09
  is
• 18:10
  there
• 18:10
  anything
• 18:10
  in
• 18:10
  particular
• 18:10
  you're
• 18:11
  not
• 18:11
  big
• 18:11
  on
• 18:12
  in
• 18:12
  the
• 18:12
  film?
• 18:14
  I.
• 18:15
  I
• 18:15
  have
• 18:15
  always
• 18:16
  liked
• 18:16
  Jason
• 18:16
  more
• 18:17
  than
• 18:17
  Freddie.
• 18:17
  Freddie
• 18:18
  always
• 18:18
  kind
• 18:18
  of
• 18:18
  was
• 18:19
  a
• 18:19
  bit
• 18:19
  too
• 18:19
  late.
• 18:21
  Someone
• 18:21
  who
• 18:21
  loves
• 18:22
  Rocky
• 18:22
  Horror
• 18:22
  Picture
• 18:23
  show
• 18:23
  was
• 18:23
  a
• 18:23
  little
• 18:24
  too
• 18:24
  over
• 18:24
  the
• 18:24
  top
• 18:24
  for
• 18:25
  me.
• 18:26
  Like,
• 18:26
  is
• 18:26
  he.
• 18:27
  He
• 18:27
  like.
• 18:28
  He's
• 18:28
  like,
• 18:29
  jokes,
• 18:29
  jokes,
• 18:30
  jokes,
• 18:31
  and
• 18:31
  then,
• 18:31
  Ah,
• 18:33
  let
• 18:33
  me
• 18:33
  call
• 18:33
  you
• 18:34
  a
• 18:34
  female
• 18:34
  dog.
• 18:35
  Right.
• 18:35
  I
• 18:35
  like
• 18:35
  the
• 18:36
  premise
• 18:36
  of
• 18:36
  having
• 18:37
  to
• 18:37
  fall
• 18:37
  asleep
• 18:38
  because
• 18:38
  I
• 18:38
  think
• 18:39
  there
• 18:39
  is
• 18:39
  that
• 18:39
  thing
• 18:40
  that
• 18:40
  we
• 18:40
  all.
• 18:40
  You
• 18:41
  can't
• 18:41
  prevent
• 18:41
  it.
• 18:42
  And
• 18:42
  all
• 18:42
  the
• 18:42
  ways
• 18:42
  they
• 18:43
  try
• 18:43
  to
• 18:43
  prevent
• 18:43
  it
• 18:44
  is
• 18:45
  very
• 18:45
  scary.
• 18:45
  And
• 18:46
  that
• 18:46
  you're
• 18:46
  so
• 18:46
  vulnerable
• 18:47
  when
• 18:47
  you
• 18:47
  sleep,
• 18:47
  I
• 18:48
  think
• 18:48
  is
• 18:48
  really
• 18:49
  interesting.
• 18:50
  But
• 18:52
  I've.
• 18:52
  Every
• 18:53
  time
• 18:53
  the
• 18:53
  Freddy
• 18:53
  scenes
• 18:54
  would
• 18:54
  come
• 18:54
  on,
• 18:54
  I
• 18:55
  would
• 18:55
  find
• 18:55
  myself
• 18:55
  a
• 18:56
  little
• 18:56
  less
• 18:57
  interested
• 18:57
  in
• 18:58
  it
• 18:59
  because
• 18:59
  there
• 19:00
  it.
• 19:00
  It's
• 19:00
  almost.
• 19:00
  I
• 19:01
  think
• 19:01
  I
• 19:01
  said
• 19:01
  in
• 19:01
  the
• 19:02
  first
• 19:02
  one,
• 19:03
  she,
• 19:04
  like,
• 19:04
  befriends
• 19:05
  the
• 19:05
  Predator
• 19:06
  and
• 19:06
  Alien
• 19:07
  versus
• 19:07
  Predator,
• 19:07
  and
• 19:08
  there's
• 19:08
  something
• 19:08
  about
• 19:09
  that
• 19:10
  that
• 19:10
  means
• 19:10
  that
• 19:10
  the
• 19:11
  Predator
• 19:11
  is
• 19:11
  not
• 19:11
  as
• 19:11
  scary
• 19:12
  anymore
• 19:13
  because,
• 19:13
  like,
• 19:13
  all
• 19:13
  of
• 19:14
  a
• 19:14
  sudden,
• 19:14
  he's,
• 19:14
  like,
• 19:14
  helping
• 19:15
  you,
• 19:15
  or
• 19:16
  they
• 19:16
  are
• 19:16
  helping
• 19:17
  you.
• 19:18
  And
• 19:19
  I
• 19:19
  think
• 19:19
  it's
• 19:19
  with
• 19:19
  Freddie
• 19:20
  is.
• 19:20
  It's
• 19:20
  not
• 19:20
  like
• 19:20
  Freddie's
• 19:21
  your
• 19:21
  friend,
• 19:22
  but,
• 19:22
  like,
• 19:23
  Jason
• 19:23
  doesn't
• 19:24
  talk.
• 19:24
  Like,
• 19:25
  Jason's
• 19:25
  just,
• 19:26
  like,
• 19:26
  killing,
• 19:26
  and
• 19:27
  there's
• 19:28
  no
• 19:28
  motivation.
• 19:29
  There's
• 19:29
  no,
• 19:29
  like,
• 19:30
  here's
• 19:30
  my
• 19:30
  plan.
• 19:31
  It's
• 19:32
  just
• 19:32
  like,
• 19:32
  you
• 19:33
  get
• 19:33
  in
• 19:33
  my
• 19:33
  way,
• 19:34
  you're
• 19:34
  getting
• 19:34
  mowed
• 19:35
  down,
• 19:35
  you
• 19:36
  know?
• 19:36
  Yes.
• 19:36
  And
• 19:37
  I
• 19:37
  feel
• 19:37
  like
• 19:37
  with
• 19:37
  Freddie,
• 19:37
  it's
• 19:38
  just
• 19:38
  a
• 19:38
  little
• 19:38
  too,
• 19:38
  like,
• 19:39
  I
• 19:39
  don't
• 19:39
  need
• 19:39
  you
• 19:39
  to.
• 19:40
  I
• 19:40
  feel
• 19:40
  like
• 19:40
  I'm
• 19:40
  a.
• 19:41
  I'm
• 19:41
  a
• 19:41
  creep
• 19:41
  on
• 19:41
  a
• 19:42
  date
• 19:42
  right
• 19:42
  now,
• 19:42
  but
• 19:42
  I
• 19:42
  don't
• 19:43
  need
• 19:43
  you
• 19:43
  to
• 19:43
  talk.
• 19:43
  Like,
• 19:44
  just.
• 19:44
  Just
• 19:45
  do
• 19:45
  your
• 19:45
  thing,
• 19:46
  you
• 19:46
  know,
• 19:47
  like,
• 19:47
  go
• 19:47
  on.
• 19:49
  But,
• 19:49
  yeah,
• 19:49
  so
• 19:50
  I
• 19:50
  think
• 19:50
  with
• 19:50
  Freddie,
• 19:50
  it's
• 19:51
  just
• 19:51
  a
• 19:51
  little
• 19:51
  too.
• 19:51
  A
• 19:52
  little
• 19:52
  too
• 19:52
  cheese
• 19:53
  for
• 19:53
  me.
• 19:53
  But
• 19:54
  still
• 19:54
  scary.
• 19:55
  The
• 19:55
  premise
• 19:55
  is
• 19:55
  still
• 19:56
  scary.
• 19:56
  What
• 19:56
  about
• 19:56
  you?
• 19:57
  That's.
• 19:57
  That's
• 19:57
  fine.
• 19:58
  Yeah.
• 19:59
  As
• 19:59
  far
• 20:00
  as
• 20:00
  what
• 20:00
  I
• 20:00
  would
• 20:00
  personally
• 20:01
  be
• 20:01
  more
• 20:01
  afraid
• 20:02
  of.
• 20:02
  Yeah.
• 20:03
  I'd
• 20:03
  be
• 20:03
  afraid
• 20:03
  of
• 20:03
  Freddy
• 20:04
  Moore.
• 20:04
  Even
• 20:05
  as
• 20:05
  someone
• 20:05
  who
• 20:05
  doesn't
• 20:06
  remember
• 20:06
  his
• 20:06
  dreams,
• 20:07
  if
• 20:07
  he
• 20:07
  dreams
• 20:08
  at
• 20:08
  all,
• 20:08
  I
• 20:08
  assume
• 20:09
  I
• 20:09
  do.
• 20:09
  I
• 20:09
  just
• 20:09
  don't.
• 20:10
  When
• 20:10
  I
• 20:10
  wake
• 20:10
  up,
• 20:11
  recall
• 20:11
  them.
• 20:11
  That
• 20:12
  doesn't
• 20:12
  mean
• 20:12
  that
• 20:13
  I
• 20:13
  have
• 20:13
  some
• 20:13
  superpower
• 20:14
  against
• 20:14
  them.
• 20:14
  He
• 20:15
  probably
• 20:15
  could
• 20:15
  use
• 20:15
  that
• 20:16
  against
• 20:16
  me
• 20:17
  in
• 20:17
  some
• 20:17
  way
• 20:17
  and
• 20:17
  maybe
• 20:18
  even
• 20:18
  activate
• 20:18
  my
• 20:18
  REM
• 20:19
  sleep.
• 20:20
  And
• 20:20
  that's
• 20:20
  terrifying
• 20:21
  because
• 20:21
  you
• 20:21
  are
• 20:21
  helpless
• 20:22
  because
• 20:22
  your
• 20:22
  body
• 20:23
  for
• 20:24
  normal
• 20:24
  people
• 20:24
  are
• 20:25
  about
• 20:25
  eight
• 20:25
  hours.
• 20:25
  Other
• 20:26
  people
• 20:26
  are
• 20:26
  less
• 20:26
  like
• 20:27
  me.
• 20:27
  But
• 20:28
  for
• 20:28
  that
• 20:28
  amount
• 20:28
  of
• 20:28
  time,
• 20:29
  you're
• 20:29
  helpless.
• 20:30
  You
• 20:31
  have
• 20:31
  no
• 20:31
  defenses.
• 20:32
  You
• 20:32
  can't
• 20:33
  do
• 20:33
  anything.
• 20:34
  And
• 20:34
  God
• 20:34
  forbid
• 20:35
  someone
• 20:35
  have
• 20:35
  sleep
• 20:35
  paralysis,
• 20:36
  which
• 20:36
  thank
• 20:36
  God,
• 20:37
  I
• 20:37
  have
• 20:37
  never
• 20:37
  had.
• 20:38
  But
• 20:38
  I
• 20:38
  have
• 20:38
  heard
• 20:38
  horror
• 20:39
  stories
• 20:39
  from
• 20:39
  people
• 20:39
  who
• 20:40
  have.
• 20:40
  But
• 20:40
  you're
• 20:41
  awake,
• 20:41
  but
• 20:42
  you
• 20:42
  can't
• 20:42
  move
• 20:42
  your
• 20:42
  body,
• 20:43
  so
• 20:43
  you're
• 20:43
  completely
• 20:44
  and
• 20:44
  utterly
• 20:44
  helpless.
• 20:45
  And
• 20:45
  you're
• 20:45
  aware
• 20:45
  that
• 20:45
  you're
• 20:46
  helpless.
• 20:47
  That's
• 20:47
  something
• 20:47
  that
• 20:47
  Freddy
• 20:48
  could
• 20:48
  take
• 20:48
  advantage
• 20:48
  of.
• 20:50
  And
• 20:50
  you
• 20:50
  can't
• 20:50
  wake
• 20:51
  yourself
• 20:51
  up,
• 20:51
  which
• 20:52
  is.
• 20:52
  They're
• 20:52
  always
• 20:53
  trying
• 20:53
  to
• 20:53
  wake
• 20:53
  themselves
• 20:54
  up.
• 20:55
  I
• 20:55
  don't
• 20:55
  have
• 20:55
  that
• 20:55
  superpower.
• 20:56
  I
• 20:56
  can't
• 20:56
  Lucid
• 20:56
  dream.
• 20:57
  I'd
• 20:57
  have
• 20:57
  to
• 20:57
  be
• 20:58
  able
• 20:58
  to
• 20:58
  remember
• 20:58
  I
• 20:58
  dreamed
• 20:59
  in
• 20:59
  the
• 20:59
  first
• 20:59
  place
• 20:59
  to
• 20:59
  do
• 21:00
  that
• 21:00
  then.
• 21:01
  As
• 21:02
  opposed
• 21:02
  to
• 21:02
  Jason.
• 21:02
  Yeah,
• 21:02
  he's
• 21:03
  a
• 21:03
  hulking,
• 21:03
  menacing
• 21:03
  figure,
• 21:04
  and
• 21:04
  he's
• 21:04
  going
• 21:04
  to
• 21:04
  keep
• 21:04
  coming
• 21:05
  back
• 21:05
  no
• 21:05
  matter
• 21:05
  how
• 21:05
  many
• 21:05
  times
• 21:05
  you
• 21:06
  kill
• 21:06
  him.
• 21:06
  That's
• 21:06
  scary.
• 21:07
  But
• 21:07
  there's
• 21:07
  a
• 21:07
  difference.
• 21:08
  But
• 21:08
  as
• 21:08
  far
• 21:08
  as,
• 21:08
  like,
• 21:08
  whose
• 21:09
  side
• 21:09
  I'm
• 21:09
  on.
• 21:09
  Yeah,
• 21:10
  I'm
• 21:11
  on
• 21:11
  Jason's
• 21:12
  side.
• 21:12
  Compared
• 21:13
  to
• 21:13
  the.
• 21:14
  In
• 21:14
  this
• 21:14
  part
• 21:14
  of
• 21:14
  the
• 21:15
  franchise,
• 21:15
  alleged
• 21:15
  pedophile.
• 21:16
  Then
• 21:16
  in
• 21:17
  the
• 21:17
  remake,
• 21:17
  actual
• 21:18
  physical
• 21:19
  pedophile.
• 21:20
  And,
• 21:20
  well,
• 21:20
  he's
• 21:20
  not
• 21:20
  really
• 21:21
  Great
• 21:21
  in
• 21:21
  this
• 21:21
  film
• 21:21
  either,
• 21:22
  as
• 21:22
  far
• 21:22
  as
• 21:22
  how
• 21:23
  he
• 21:23
  treats
• 21:24
  young
• 21:24
  teenagers,
• 21:25
  shall
• 21:25
  we
• 21:25
  say.
• 21:27
  So
• 21:28
  I
• 21:28
  guess
• 21:29
  if
• 21:29
  my
• 21:29
  choice
• 21:29
  is
• 21:29
  an
• 21:29
  undead
• 21:30
  abomination
• 21:31
  or
• 21:31
  the
• 21:32
  pedophilic
• 21:33
  dream
• 21:33
  murderer,
• 21:34
  I
• 21:34
  guess
• 21:34
  I'm
• 21:34
  with
• 21:34
  the
• 21:34
  undead
• 21:35
  abomination.
• 21:36
  You
• 21:36
  know,
• 21:36
  I
• 21:36
  think
• 21:36
  that's
• 21:37
  a
• 21:37
  good
• 21:37
  summary
• 21:38
  of
• 21:38
  it,
• 21:38
  to
• 21:38
  be
• 21:38
  fair.
• 21:40
  I
• 21:40
  think
• 21:40
  that's
• 21:40
  maybe
• 21:41
  what
• 21:41
  clouds
• 21:41
  my
• 21:41
  judgment,
• 21:42
  too,
• 21:42
  of
• 21:43
  the
• 21:43
  cheesiness.
• 21:44
  I'm
• 21:44
  like,
• 21:44
  you
• 21:44
  have
• 21:45
  no
• 21:45
  right
• 21:45
  to
• 21:45
  be
• 21:45
  cheesy.
• 21:46
  You
• 21:46
  were
• 21:46
  bad,
• 21:47
  bad.
• 21:47
  At
• 21:47
  least
• 21:48
  Jason
• 21:48
  just
• 21:48
  drowned.
• 21:49
  He
• 21:49
  didn't
• 21:49
  want
• 21:49
  to.
• 21:50
  I
• 21:50
  mean,
• 21:51
  but
• 21:52
  as
• 21:52
  far
• 21:52
  as,
• 21:52
  like,
• 21:52
  things
• 21:53
  that
• 21:53
  I
• 21:53
  like,
• 21:53
  I
• 21:53
  mean,
• 21:54
  for
• 21:54
  what
• 21:54
  they're
• 21:55
  doing,
• 21:55
  it's
• 21:55
  fine.
• 21:56
  Of
• 21:56
  bringing
• 21:57
  the
• 21:57
  two
• 21:57
  together.
• 21:58
  The
• 21:58
  idea
• 21:58
  of,
• 21:59
  hey,
• 22:00
  we
• 22:00
  know
• 22:00
  how
• 22:00
  Freddy
• 22:01
  works.
• 22:01
  He's
• 22:02
  essentially
• 22:02
  become
• 22:02
  this
• 22:03
  Tulpa,
• 22:03
  and
• 22:04
  the
• 22:04
  more.
• 22:04
  Do
• 22:04
  you
• 22:04
  believe
• 22:05
  in
• 22:05
  it,
• 22:06
  the
• 22:06
  more
• 22:07
  power
• 22:07
  he
• 22:07
  has.
• 22:09
  So
• 22:09
  let's
• 22:10
  remove
• 22:10
  that
• 22:10
  and
• 22:10
  we
• 22:11
  can
• 22:11
  get
• 22:11
  into
• 22:11
  the
• 22:11
  ethics
• 22:12
  of
• 22:12
  that
• 22:12
  in
• 22:12
  a
• 22:12
  bit.
• 22:13
  But
• 22:14
  that's
• 22:14
  a
• 22:14
  smart
• 22:14
  decision,
• 22:15
  at
• 22:15
  least
• 22:15
  the
• 22:15
  idea
• 22:16
  of
• 22:16
  it.
• 22:17
  Then,
• 22:17
  of
• 22:17
  course,
• 22:18
  Freddy
• 22:18
  being
• 22:18
  Freddy,
• 22:18
  he
• 22:18
  has
• 22:19
  to
• 22:19
  find
• 22:19
  a
• 22:19
  way
• 22:19
  to
• 22:19
  come
• 22:19
  back.
• 22:19
  So
• 22:20
  what
• 22:20
  does
• 22:20
  he
• 22:20
  do?
• 22:20
  Well,
• 22:21
  we're
• 22:21
  in
• 22:21
  a
• 22:21
  crossover
• 22:22
  franchise
• 22:22
  now.
• 22:23
  We're
• 22:23
  going
• 22:23
  to
• 22:23
  bring
• 22:23
  Jason
• 22:24
  into
• 22:24
  it,
• 22:24
  and
• 22:24
  he
• 22:25
  starts
• 22:25
  slaughtering
• 22:25
  people
• 22:25
  because
• 22:26
  that's
• 22:26
  what
• 22:26
  Jason
• 22:26
  does,
• 22:26
  and
• 22:27
  he
• 22:27
  tries
• 22:27
  to
• 22:27
  manipulate
• 22:27
  him
• 22:28
  by
• 22:28
  being
• 22:28
  Pamela
• 22:28
  Voorhees,
• 22:29
  pretending
• 22:29
  to
• 22:29
  be
• 22:29
  her.
• 22:30
  But
• 22:30
  that
• 22:31
  can
• 22:31
  only
• 22:31
  go
• 22:31
  so
• 22:31
  far.
• 22:32
  And
• 22:33
  that's
• 22:33
  true
• 22:33
  because
• 22:33
  in
• 22:34
  other
• 22:34
  films,
• 22:34
  some
• 22:34
  women
• 22:35
  have
• 22:35
  pretended
• 22:35
  to
• 22:35
  be
• 22:35
  her,
• 22:35
  and
• 22:36
  it's
• 22:36
  only
• 22:36
  led
• 22:36
  to
• 22:37
  so
• 22:37
  far
• 22:37
  what
• 22:38
  they
• 22:38
  could
• 22:38
  do
• 22:38
  to
• 22:38
  Manipul.
• 22:40
  So,
• 22:40
  yeah,
• 22:41
  that
• 22:41
  works
• 22:41
  for
• 22:41
  me.
• 22:42
  But
• 22:43
  as
• 22:43
  far
• 22:43
  as
• 22:43
  not
• 22:43
  liking.
• 22:44
  It's.
• 22:45
  This
• 22:45
  is
• 22:46
  kind
• 22:46
  of
• 22:46
  a
• 22:46
  criticism
• 22:47
  of
• 22:47
  slashers
• 22:47
  in
• 22:47
  general
• 22:48
  outside
• 22:48
  of,
• 22:48
  you
• 22:48
  know,
• 22:49
  franchises
• 22:49
  like
• 22:49
  Scream,
• 22:50
  for
• 22:50
  the
• 22:50
  most
• 22:50
  part,
• 22:50
  I
• 22:50
  do.
• 22:50
  Well,
• 22:51
  I
• 22:52
  don't
• 22:52
  know
• 22:52
  who
• 22:52
  these
• 22:52
  people
• 22:53
  are.
• 22:54
  I.
• 22:54
  I
• 22:54
  couldn't
• 22:55
  name
• 22:55
  a
• 22:55
  single
• 22:55
  one
• 22:56
  of
• 22:56
  them.
• 22:57
  I
• 22:57
  think
• 22:58
  the
• 22:59
  final
• 22:59
  girl
• 23:00
  is
• 23:00
  Lori.
• 23:04
  Laurie
• 23:04
  Strode,
• 23:05
  a
• 23:05
  little
• 23:05
  bit.
• 23:06
  Yeah,
• 23:07
  something.
• 23:07
  Yeah,
• 23:07
  it
• 23:08
  was
• 23:08
  something
• 23:08
  or
• 23:08
  Lauren
• 23:09
  or
• 23:09
  something
• 23:09
  like
• 23:10
  that.
• 23:10
  And
• 23:11
  I
• 23:11
  just
• 23:11
  rewatched
• 23:11
  the
• 23:12
  film
• 23:12
  not
• 23:12
  that
• 23:12
  long
• 23:12
  ago,
• 23:12
  and
• 23:13
  I
• 23:13
  don't
• 23:13
  have
• 23:13
  the
• 23:13
  best
• 23:13
  memory
• 23:14
  in
• 23:14
  the
• 23:14
  world
• 23:14
  to
• 23:14
  begin
• 23:14
  with,
• 23:15
  but
• 23:16
  they
• 23:16
  don't
• 23:16
  really
• 23:17
  give
• 23:17
  them
• 23:17
  personality.
• 23:18
  They
• 23:18
  kind
• 23:18
  of
• 23:19
  exist
• 23:19
  to
• 23:19
  die.
• 23:20
  They
• 23:20
  do
• 23:21
  some
• 23:21
  to
• 23:22
  survive
• 23:22
  eventually.
• 23:23
  So
• 23:24
  that's.
• 23:24
  That's
• 23:25
  kind
• 23:25
  of
• 23:25
  where
• 23:25
  I'm
• 23:25
  at.
• 23:26
  So
• 23:26
  this
• 23:26
  has
• 23:27
  been
• 23:27
  something
• 23:27
  that
• 23:27
  kind
• 23:27
  of
• 23:28
  was
• 23:28
  built
• 23:28
  up
• 23:29
  after
• 23:30
  20
• 23:31
  or
• 23:31
  so
• 23:31
  years
• 23:32
  of
• 23:32
  both
• 23:32
  franchises
• 23:33
  being
• 23:33
  along.
• 23:35
  Both
• 23:35
  of
• 23:35
  them,
• 23:36
  Nightmare
• 23:36
  at
• 23:36
  this
• 23:36
  point
• 23:37
  in
• 23:37
  time,
• 23:37
  had
• 23:38
  slightly
• 23:39
  less
• 23:39
  staying
• 23:40
  power
• 23:40
  than
• 23:41
  Friday
• 23:42
  the
• 23:42
  13th.
• 23:42
  But
• 23:43
  at
• 23:43
  the
• 23:43
  same
• 23:43
  time,
• 23:44
  Friday
• 23:44
  the
• 23:44
  13th,
• 23:44
  the
• 23:45
  franchise
• 23:45
  was
• 23:45
  dying
• 23:46
  to
• 23:46
  an
• 23:46
  extent.
• 23:47
  No,
• 23:47
  it's
• 23:47
  going
• 23:48
  to
• 23:48
  different
• 23:48
  media
• 23:49
  companies
• 23:49
  in
• 23:49
  charge
• 23:50
  and
• 23:51
  diminishing
• 23:52
  returns
• 23:52
  in
• 23:52
  the
• 23:52
  box
• 23:53
  office.
• 23:53
  So
• 23:53
  they
• 23:53
  decide
• 23:54
  what
• 23:54
  did
• 23:54
  they
• 23:54
  do?
• 23:54
  Crossover,
• 23:55
  have
• 23:56
  them
• 23:56
  fight
• 23:56
  each
• 23:56
  other.
• 23:56
  The
• 23:56
  fans
• 23:57
  have
• 23:57
  wanted
• 23:57
  it
• 23:57
  because
• 23:57
  what
• 23:58
  do
• 23:58
  fans
• 23:58
  do?
• 23:58
  They
• 23:58
  like
• 23:58
  comparing.
• 23:59
  Contrasting
• 23:59
  and
• 24:00
  saying
• 24:00
  who
• 24:00
  would
• 24:00
  win
• 24:00
  in
• 24:00
  the
• 24:00
  fight.
• 24:01
  Yeah.
• 24:01
  So
• 24:02
  let's
• 24:02
  throw
• 24:02
  it
• 24:02
  on
• 24:02
  film.
• 24:03
  So
• 24:03
  to
• 24:04
  you,
• 24:04
  Leah,
• 24:04
  does
• 24:04
  this
• 24:05
  film
• 24:05
  live
• 24:05
  up
• 24:05
  to
• 24:05
  the
• 24:05
  hype
• 24:06
  of
• 24:06
  crossing
• 24:06
  the
• 24:06
  franchises?
• 24:09
  I
• 24:10
  don't
• 24:11
  think
• 24:11
  so.
• 24:11
  I
• 24:12
  don't
• 24:12
  think
• 24:12
  that
• 24:12
  it
• 24:12
  does.
• 24:13
  I
• 24:13
  don't.
• 24:13
  I.
• 24:13
  But
• 24:14
  here's
• 24:14
  the
• 24:14
  reason
• 24:14
  why
• 24:15
  the
• 24:15
  film
• 24:16
  itself
• 24:16
  operates
• 24:17
  in
• 24:17
  much
• 24:17
  the
• 24:18
  same.
• 24:19
  I'm
• 24:19
  actually
• 24:19
  going
• 24:19
  to
• 24:20
  feed
• 24:20
  off
• 24:20
  of
• 24:20
  your
• 24:20
  ideas
• 24:21
  because
• 24:21
  I
• 24:21
  think
• 24:21
  what
• 24:22
  you
• 24:22
  said
• 24:22
  is
• 24:22
  a
• 24:22
  real
• 24:23
  key
• 24:23
  bit
• 24:23
  of
• 24:23
  why
• 24:24
  I
• 24:24
  don't
• 24:25
  love
• 24:25
  it
• 24:25
  at
• 24:26
  like
• 24:26
  the
• 24:26
  level
• 24:26
  I
• 24:27
  should
• 24:27
  because
• 24:27
  of
• 24:27
  loving
• 24:28
  these
• 24:28
  two
• 24:28
  genres
• 24:29
  or
• 24:29
  these
• 24:29
  two
• 24:30
  fandoms.
• 24:31
  You
• 24:31
  need
• 24:32
  a
• 24:32
  Eleanor
• 24:33
  Ripley.
• 24:33
  You
• 24:34
  need
• 24:34
  a
• 24:34
  Laurie
• 24:35
  Strode.
• 24:35
  You
• 24:35
  need
• 24:37
  a.
• 24:37
  You
• 24:37
  need
• 24:38
  someone
• 24:38
  that
• 24:38
  you
• 24:38
  can
• 24:39
  root
• 24:39
  for
• 24:39
  that
• 24:39
  transcends
• 24:40
  each.
• 24:40
  You
• 24:41
  need
• 24:41
  a
• 24:41
  Nev
• 24:41
  Campbell.
• 24:42
  Like,
• 24:43
  do
• 24:43
  you
• 24:43
  notice
• 24:44
  when
• 24:44
  they're
• 24:44
  not
• 24:45
  in
• 24:45
  a
• 24:45
  film,
• 24:45
  which
• 24:46
  is
• 24:46
  why
• 24:46
  they
• 24:46
  always
• 24:47
  bring
• 24:47
  them
• 24:47
  back.
• 24:47
  Nev
• 24:48
  Campbell
• 24:48
  took
• 24:49
  out
• 24:49
  like,
• 24:50
  was
• 24:50
  it
• 24:50
  not
• 24:50
  in
• 24:50
  there
• 24:50
  for
• 24:51
  like
• 24:51
  three
• 24:51
  movies
• 24:51
  because
• 24:52
  the
• 24:52
  pay.
• 24:53
  And
• 24:53
  now
• 24:53
  they're
• 24:53
  bringing
• 24:54
  her
• 24:54
  back
• 24:54
  because
• 24:54
  they
• 24:55
  are
• 24:55
  like,
• 24:55
  we
• 24:55
  need
• 24:56
  someone
• 24:56
  to
• 24:56
  root
• 24:57
  for.
• 24:57
  And
• 24:57
  I
• 24:58
  think
• 24:58
  that's
• 24:58
  the
• 24:58
  thing
• 24:58
  is
• 24:59
  like,
• 24:59
  I
• 24:59
  remember
• 25:00
  Kelly
• 25:00
  Rowland
• 25:00
  was
• 25:01
  in
• 25:01
  that
• 25:01
  film
• 25:01
  of
• 25:01
  Destiny's
• 25:02
  Child
• 25:02
  fame.
• 25:03
  She's.
• 25:03
  But
• 25:04
  she,
• 25:04
  she
• 25:04
  dies
• 25:05
  eventually.
• 25:07
  She's
• 25:07
  not
• 25:07
  the
• 25:07
  last
• 25:07
  girl.
• 25:08
  But
• 25:08
  like,
• 25:08
  that's
• 25:09
  who
• 25:09
  I
• 25:09
  remember
• 25:10
  out
• 25:10
  of
• 25:11
  all
• 25:11
  of
• 25:11
  them.
• 25:12
  And
• 25:12
  I
• 25:12
  only
• 25:12
  remember
• 25:13
  it
• 25:13
  because
• 25:13
  she
• 25:13
  was
• 25:13
  in
• 25:14
  a
• 25:14
  girl.
• 25:14
  Girl
• 25:15
  band.
• 25:15
  Like
• 25:16
  that
• 25:16
  tells
• 25:17
  you
• 25:17
  something.
• 25:18
  Like,
• 25:18
  you,
• 25:19
  you're
• 25:19
  supposed
• 25:19
  to
• 25:19
  be
• 25:20
  rooting
• 25:20
  for
• 25:20
  these
• 25:20
  people.
• 25:21
  And
• 25:21
  instead
• 25:21
  I'm
• 25:22
  just
• 25:22
  sitting
• 25:22
  here
• 25:22
  thinking
• 25:23
  like,
• 25:24
  well,
• 25:24
  I
• 25:24
  wonder
• 25:24
  which
• 25:24
  one
• 25:24
  of
• 25:25
  these
• 25:25
  idiots
• 25:25
  is
• 25:26
  going
• 25:26
  to
• 25:26
  die
• 25:26
  next.
• 25:26
  And
• 25:27
  I
• 25:27
  think
• 25:27
  part
• 25:28
  of
• 25:28
  the
• 25:28
  slasher
• 25:28
  thing
• 25:29
  is
• 25:29
  you're
• 25:29
  supposed
• 25:30
  to
• 25:30
  root
• 25:30
  for
• 25:30
  humanity.
• 25:32
  And
• 25:32
  I
• 25:33
  found
• 25:33
  in
• 25:33
  this
• 25:34
  film
• 25:34
  I
• 25:34
  just
• 25:34
  was
• 25:35
  like,
• 25:35
  I
• 25:35
  don't
• 25:36
  care
• 25:37
  what,
• 25:38
  what
• 25:38
  happens
• 25:39
  to
• 25:39
  you.
• 25:39
  Even
• 25:40
  in
• 25:40
  Nightmare
• 25:40
  on
• 25:40
  Elm
• 25:40
  street,
• 25:41
  you
• 25:41
  had.
• 25:41
  And
• 25:41
  I,
• 25:41
  I
• 25:42
  don't
• 25:42
  have
• 25:42
  her
• 25:42
  name,
• 25:43
  but
• 25:43
  the
• 25:43
  curly
• 25:44
  headed
• 25:45
  80s
• 25:45
  girl,
• 25:45
  she
• 25:46
  was
• 25:46
  in
• 25:46
  quite
• 25:46
  a
• 25:46
  few
• 25:47
  of
• 25:47
  them,
• 25:47
  I
• 25:47
  think,
• 25:48
  wasn't
• 25:48
  she?
• 25:49
  In
• 25:49
  the
• 25:49
  beginning?
• 25:50
  I
• 25:50
  can't
• 25:51
  think
• 25:51
  so.
• 25:52
  And
• 25:52
  then
• 25:53
  Jason,
• 25:53
  you
• 25:54
  don't
• 25:54
  really
• 25:54
  have
• 25:54
  a
• 25:54
  comp.
• 25:54
  Kevin
• 25:55
  Bacon
• 25:55
  dies
• 25:56
  real
• 25:56
  quick
• 25:59
  because
• 26:00
  guess
• 26:00
  what
• 26:00
  he
• 26:00
  did.
• 26:01
  He
• 26:01
  stopped
• 26:02
  moving.
• 26:03
  He
• 26:04
  was
• 26:04
  moving
• 26:04
  for
• 26:05
  reasons.
• 26:05
  But
• 26:07
  yeah.
• 26:07
  So
• 26:07
  I
• 26:07
  think,
• 26:08
  I
• 26:08
  think
• 26:08
  that's
• 26:08
  why
• 26:09
  it
• 26:09
  doesn't
• 26:09
  live
• 26:09
  up,
• 26:09
  is
• 26:10
  that
• 26:10
  I'm
• 26:11
  now
• 26:11
  reflecting
• 26:11
  as
• 26:12
  you
• 26:12
  were
• 26:12
  talking
• 26:12
  about
• 26:13
  the
• 26:13
  ones
• 26:13
  that
• 26:13
  I
• 26:13
  really
• 26:14
  like,
• 26:14
  which
• 26:14
  is
• 26:14
  where
• 26:15
  the.
• 26:16
  It
• 26:16
  doesn't
• 26:16
  even
• 26:16
  have
• 26:17
  to
• 26:17
  be
• 26:17
  the
• 26:17
  last
• 26:17
  girl,
• 26:17
  but
• 26:18
  it's
• 26:18
  the
• 26:18
  last.
• 26:19
  You
• 26:19
  know,
• 26:19
  in
• 26:19
  Scream,
• 26:20
  you
• 26:20
  have
• 26:20
  a
• 26:21
  cluster
• 26:22
  of
• 26:22
  them
• 26:22
  that
• 26:22
  survive.
• 26:23
  You
• 26:23
  know,
• 26:23
  you
• 26:23
  get
• 26:24
  Courtney
• 26:24
  Cox,
• 26:24
  you
• 26:25
  get
• 26:25
  David
• 26:26
  Arquette,
• 26:26
  you
• 26:26
  get
• 26:28
  several
• 26:28
  of
• 26:28
  them
• 26:28
  that
• 26:28
  keep
• 26:29
  going
• 26:29
  and
• 26:29
  you
• 26:30
  keep
• 26:30
  rooting
• 26:31
  for
• 26:31
  them
• 26:31
  because
• 26:31
  they
• 26:32
  keep
• 26:32
  coming
• 26:32
  back
• 26:32
  and
• 26:33
  you're
• 26:33
  like,
• 26:33
  yes,
• 26:34
  you
• 26:34
  know,
• 26:34
  please
• 26:35
  survive.
• 26:36
  So
• 26:36
  I
• 26:36
  think
• 26:36
  that
• 26:36
  you've
• 26:37
  got
• 26:37
  to
• 26:37
  have
• 26:37
  some
• 26:37
  of
• 26:38
  that.
• 26:38
  And
• 26:38
  I
• 26:38
  don't
• 26:38
  think
• 26:38
  it
• 26:39
  had
• 26:39
  that.
• 26:39
  So
• 26:39
  the
• 26:39
  investment
• 26:40
  in
• 26:40
  the
• 26:40
  humans
• 26:41
  were.
• 26:41
  Was
• 26:41
  at
• 26:41
  a
• 26:42
  minimum
• 26:42
  for
• 26:42
  me.
• 26:42
  So
• 26:43
  I
• 26:43
  think
• 26:43
  that.
• 26:43
  That
• 26:44
  heard
• 26:44
  it
• 26:44
  a
• 26:44
  little
• 26:44
  bit.
• 26:45
  Yeah.
• 26:46
  A
• 26:46
  part
• 26:46
  of
• 26:47
  what
• 26:47
  you
• 26:47
  said
• 26:48
  reminded
• 26:48
  me
• 26:48
  of
• 26:48
  a
• 26:48
  phrase
• 26:49
  I
• 26:49
  had
• 26:49
  read
• 26:49
  on
• 26:49
  TV
• 26:49
  tropes.
• 26:50
  And
• 26:50
  don't
• 26:50
  go
• 26:50
  there
• 26:51
  if
• 26:51
  you
• 26:51
  don't
• 26:51
  want
• 26:51
  to
• 26:51
  ruin
• 26:51
  your
• 26:51
  life.
• 26:53
  But
• 26:53
  it's.
• 26:54
  It's
• 26:54
  a
• 26:54
  coin,
• 26:55
  a
• 26:55
  phrase
• 26:55
  coined
• 26:55
  by,
• 26:56
  I
• 26:56
  believe
• 26:56
  she's
• 26:57
  a
• 26:57
  sci
• 26:57
  fi
• 26:57
  author.
• 26:59
  Dorothy
• 27:00
  Jones.
• 27:00
  Hate
• 27:01
  H,
• 27:02
  H,
• 27:02
  E,
• 27:02
  Y,
• 27:02
  D,
• 27:03
  T.
• 27:03
  How
• 27:03
  the
• 27:04
  heck
• 27:04
  you
• 27:04
  pronounce
• 27:04
  that?
• 27:04
  Sorry,
• 27:05
  if
• 27:05
  you're
• 27:05
  listening.
• 27:07
  And
• 27:07
  the
• 27:07
  phrase
• 27:08
  she
• 27:08
  said
• 27:08
  are
• 27:08
  the
• 27:08
  eight
• 27:09
  deadly
• 27:09
  words.
• 27:10
  I
• 27:11
  don't
• 27:11
  care
• 27:11
  what
• 27:12
  happens
• 27:12
  to
• 27:12
  these
• 27:13
  people.
• 27:14
  Oh,
• 27:14
  no.
• 27:15
  And
• 27:16
  as
• 27:17
  in
• 27:17
  like
• 27:17
  discussing,
• 27:18
  like
• 27:18
  watching
• 27:19
  a
• 27:19
  film
• 27:19
  or
• 27:19
  reading
• 27:20
  a
• 27:20
  book,
• 27:20
  and
• 27:20
  you
• 27:20
  go,
• 27:21
  and
• 27:21
  I
• 27:21
  don't
• 27:21
  care
• 27:21
  what
• 27:22
  happens
• 27:22
  to
• 27:22
  these
• 27:22
  people
• 27:22
  is
• 27:23
  kind
• 27:23
  of
• 27:23
  like
• 27:23
  the
• 27:23
  death
• 27:23
  of
• 27:24
  your
• 27:24
  interest
• 27:25
  in
• 27:26
  something
• 27:27
  you're
• 27:28
  watching,
• 27:28
  reading,
• 27:28
  what
• 27:28
  have
• 27:29
  you
• 27:29
  playing.
• 27:30
  And
• 27:30
  that's
• 27:31
  very
• 27:31
  condemning.
• 27:31
  And
• 27:32
  I
• 27:32
  think
• 27:32
  this
• 27:32
  is
• 27:33
  a
• 27:33
  condemnation
• 27:33
  you
• 27:34
  can
• 27:34
  definitely
• 27:34
  throw
• 27:34
  at
• 27:34
  this
• 27:34
  film.
• 27:35
  And
• 27:35
  I'm
• 27:35
  right
• 27:35
  there
• 27:35
  with
• 27:35
  you.
• 27:37
  It
• 27:37
  doesn't
• 27:38
  live
• 27:38
  up
• 27:38
  to
• 27:38
  the
• 27:38
  hype
• 27:38
  because
• 27:40
  we.
• 27:40
  We
• 27:41
  have
• 27:41
  in
• 27:42
  the
• 27:42
  first
• 27:42
  film.
• 27:43
  Was
• 27:43
  Alice
• 27:44
  is
• 27:44
  the
• 27:44
  first
• 27:44
  final
• 27:44
  girl
• 27:45
  or
• 27:46
  I.
• 27:46
  I
• 27:47
  can't
• 27:47
  remember
• 27:47
  from
• 27:47
  Friday.
• 27:48
  I'm
• 27:48
  bad
• 27:48
  at
• 27:49
  proper
• 27:50
  nouns
• 27:50
  now
• 27:50
  that
• 27:50
  I'm
• 27:50
  getting
• 27:51
  older.
• 27:51
  Oh,
• 27:51
  yeah,
• 27:51
  There's.
• 27:52
  There's
• 27:52
  the.
• 27:52
  The
• 27:52
  girl.
• 27:53
  She's.
• 27:53
  She
• 27:53
  gets
• 27:54
  on
• 27:54
  the
• 27:54
  boat
• 27:54
  and
• 27:55
  she.
• 27:55
  But
• 27:55
  she
• 27:55
  does
• 27:55
  survive.
• 27:57
  There's
• 27:57
  something
• 27:57
  to
• 27:57
  it
• 27:57
  when
• 27:58
  she's
• 27:58
  brought
• 27:58
  by
• 27:58
  the
• 27:58
  second
• 27:59
  film.
• 27:59
  And
• 27:59
  what
• 27:59
  happens
• 27:59
  to
• 28:00
  her
• 28:00
  there
• 28:00
  when
• 28:00
  Jason
• 28:00
  comes
• 28:01
  to
• 28:01
  kill
• 28:01
  her?
• 28:01
  Like,
• 28:01
  you
• 28:02
  feel
• 28:02
  a
• 28:02
  little
• 28:02
  something.
• 28:04
  And
• 28:04
  then
• 28:05
  Nancy
• 28:06
  in
• 28:06
  Nightmare.
• 28:07
  That's
• 28:07
  right.
• 28:08
  Yes.
• 28:08
  Okay.
• 28:09
  You
• 28:09
  feel
• 28:09
  something
• 28:10
  for
• 28:10
  her
• 28:10
  and
• 28:10
  her
• 28:10
  group
• 28:10
  of
• 28:11
  friends
• 28:11
  and,
• 28:11
  you
• 28:11
  know,
• 28:11
  when
• 28:12
  Johnny
• 28:12
  Depp,
• 28:12
  I
• 28:13
  assume
• 28:13
  he
• 28:13
  had
• 28:13
  a
• 28:13
  character
• 28:13
  name
• 28:14
  when
• 28:14
  he
• 28:14
  dies,
• 28:16
  you
• 28:16
  feel
• 28:16
  a
• 28:16
  little
• 28:16
  something
• 28:17
  because
• 28:17
  of
• 28:17
  her
• 28:18
  reaction
• 28:18
  to
• 28:18
  it
• 28:18
  because
• 28:18
  you
• 28:18
  care
• 28:19
  about
• 28:19
  what
• 28:19
  happens
• 28:19
  to
• 28:19
  her.
• 28:20
  We
• 28:21
  don't
• 28:21
  have
• 28:21
  that
• 28:21
  in
• 28:21
  this
• 28:21
  film.
• 28:22
  I'm
• 28:23
  not
• 28:23
  saying
• 28:23
  they're
• 28:23
  complete
• 28:23
  and
• 28:24
  utter,
• 28:24
  just
• 28:24
  cardboard
• 28:24
  cutouts
• 28:25
  with
• 28:25
  no
• 28:26
  substance
• 28:26
  at
• 28:26
  all
• 28:27
  to
• 28:27
  them.
• 28:28
  But
• 28:28
  this
• 28:29
  is
• 28:29
  definitely
• 28:29
  first
• 28:29
  draft
• 28:31
  as
• 28:31
  far
• 28:31
  as
• 28:32
  making
• 28:32
  me
• 28:32
  care.
• 28:32
  And
• 28:33
  I
• 28:33
  would
• 28:33
  agree.
• 28:34
  I
• 28:34
  don't
• 28:34
  care
• 28:34
  what
• 28:34
  happens
• 28:35
  to
• 28:35
  these
• 28:35
  people.
• 28:36
  I
• 28:37
  think
• 28:37
  we
• 28:37
  Leaned
• 28:37
  into
• 28:38
  the
• 28:38
  fact
• 28:38
  that
• 28:39
  we
• 28:39
  watch
• 28:39
  the
• 28:40
  slashers
• 28:40
  for
• 28:41
  the
• 28:42
  murderous
• 28:42
  villains,
• 28:43
  which
• 28:44
  we
• 28:44
  do
• 28:44
  to
• 28:45
  an
• 28:45
  extent.
• 28:45
  But
• 28:45
  you
• 28:46
  have
• 28:46
  to
• 28:46
  have
• 28:47
  some
• 28:47
  sort
• 28:47
  of
• 28:49
  reason
• 28:49
  why
• 28:49
  it's
• 28:50
  important
• 28:50
  that
• 28:51
  they're
• 28:51
  killing.
• 28:52
  There
• 28:53
  has
• 28:53
  to
• 28:53
  be
• 28:53
  some
• 28:53
  sort
• 28:54
  of
• 28:55
  concern
• 28:56
  that
• 28:56
  draws
• 28:56
  you
• 28:57
  in
• 28:57
  and
• 28:57
  says,
• 28:58
  oh,
• 28:58
  my
• 28:58
  God,
• 28:58
  there's
• 28:58
  a
• 28:58
  risk
• 28:59
  here.
• 28:59
  You
• 28:59
  know?
• 29:00
  And
• 29:01
  I
• 29:01
  think
• 29:01
  for
• 29:01
  them,
• 29:01
  they
• 29:02
  focused.
• 29:02
  They
• 29:03
  spent
• 29:03
  most
• 29:03
  of
• 29:04
  their
• 29:04
  budget
• 29:04
  on
• 29:05
  these
• 29:05
  two
• 29:05
  monsters
• 29:07
  and
• 29:07
  maybe
• 29:08
  not
• 29:08
  enough
• 29:08
  on
• 29:08
  casting
• 29:09
  people
• 29:09
  that
• 29:09
  we
• 29:10
  would
• 29:10
  be
• 29:10
  like.
• 29:10
  Or
• 29:11
  they
• 29:11
  just
• 29:11
  assumed
• 29:11
  we
• 29:12
  wouldn't,
• 29:13
  you
• 29:13
  know,
• 29:13
  that
• 29:13
  that
• 29:13
  would
• 29:14
  be
• 29:14
  enough.
• 29:14
  And
• 29:14
  I
• 29:14
  think
• 29:15
  they
• 29:15
  underestimated
• 29:16
  the
• 29:16
  audience
• 29:17
  in
• 29:17
  that
• 29:17
  sense
• 29:17
  of,
• 29:18
  like,
• 29:18
  you
• 29:18
  know,
• 29:19
  there
• 29:19
  has
• 29:19
  to
• 29:19
  be
• 29:19
  consequences
• 29:20
  for
• 29:21
  us
• 29:21
  to.
• 29:21
  To
• 29:22
  be
• 29:22
  invested
• 29:22
  in
• 29:22
  this.
• 29:23
  Yeah,
• 29:24
  I
• 29:24
  agree.
• 29:25
  But,
• 29:25
  like,
• 29:26
  I'm
• 29:26
  still
• 29:27
  happy
• 29:28
  ultimately
• 29:28
  with
• 29:29
  what
• 29:29
  happens
• 29:29
  here
• 29:30
  in
• 29:30
  that,
• 29:30
  you
• 29:31
  know,
• 29:31
  they
• 29:31
  fight.
• 29:32
  That
• 29:32
  is
• 29:32
  part.
• 29:32
  I
• 29:33
  do
• 29:33
  want
• 29:33
  to
• 29:33
  just
• 29:33
  see
• 29:33
  them
• 29:34
  fight
• 29:34
  and
• 29:34
  turn
• 29:34
  my
• 29:34
  brain
• 29:34
  off
• 29:35
  and
• 29:35
  watch
• 29:35
  them
• 29:35
  fight.
• 29:36
  That's
• 29:36
  fine.
• 29:37
  It
• 29:37
  doesn't
• 29:37
  have
• 29:37
  to
• 29:38
  be
• 29:38
  the
• 29:38
  whole
• 29:38
  film.
• 29:38
  I
• 29:38
  don't
• 29:38
  want
• 29:39
  to
• 29:39
  turn
• 29:39
  my
• 29:39
  brain
• 29:39
  off
• 29:39
  for
• 29:39
  the
• 29:39
  entire
• 29:40
  film,
• 29:40
  but
• 29:41
  for
• 29:41
  what's
• 29:41
  going
• 29:41
  on
• 29:42
  there,
• 29:42
  sure.
• 29:42
  Yeah.
• 29:42
  I
• 29:42
  want
• 29:43
  to
• 29:43
  care
• 29:43
  about
• 29:44
  the
• 29:44
  characters
• 29:44
  and
• 29:44
  them
• 29:45
  dying.
• 29:45
  I
• 29:45
  should
• 29:45
  feel
• 29:45
  something
• 29:46
  when
• 29:46
  they
• 29:46
  die.
• 29:47
  But
• 29:47
  when
• 29:48
  I
• 29:48
  see
• 29:48
  Jason
• 29:48
  and
• 29:48
  Freddy
• 29:49
  fighting
• 29:49
  on
• 29:49
  each
• 29:49
  other,
• 29:49
  you
• 29:50
  know
• 29:50
  what
• 29:50
  I
• 29:50
  feel?
• 29:51
  Happy,
• 29:51
  Joyful.
• 29:52
  Because
• 29:52
  I've
• 29:52
  wanted
• 29:53
  to
• 29:53
  see
• 29:53
  this.
• 29:53
  That
• 29:54
  isn't
• 29:54
  handled
• 29:54
  the
• 29:55
  best.
• 29:55
  No,
• 29:56
  but
• 29:56
  it's
• 29:56
  good
• 29:57
  enough.
• 29:58
  Where
• 29:58
  I
• 29:58
  don't
• 29:58
  feel
• 29:59
  like
• 29:59
  this
• 29:59
  is
• 29:59
  a
• 30:00
  total
• 30:01
  failure
• 30:01
  of
• 30:02
  a
• 30:02
  film,
• 30:02
  but
• 30:02
  it's
• 30:03
  never
• 30:03
  going
• 30:03
  to
• 30:03
  enter
• 30:04
  my
• 30:04
  top
• 30:05
  500
• 30:05
  or
• 30:06
  whatever
• 30:06
  horror
• 30:07
  films
• 30:07
  I've
• 30:07
  ever
• 30:07
  watched.
• 30:08
  And
• 30:08
  they
• 30:08
  save
• 30:09
  it
• 30:09
  pretty
• 30:09
  late
• 30:09
  for
• 30:09
  that
• 30:10
  fight.
• 30:10
  And
• 30:10
  it's
• 30:10
  not
• 30:11
  very
• 30:11
  long.
• 30:12
  Like,
• 30:12
  it's
• 30:12
  a.
• 30:13
  It's
• 30:13
  fairly
• 30:14
  brief
• 30:14
  because
• 30:14
  I
• 30:14
  don't
• 30:15
  think
• 30:15
  they
• 30:15
  fight
• 30:15
  up
• 30:15
  until
• 30:16
  the
• 30:16
  very
• 30:16
  end,
• 30:16
  right
• 30:17
  from
• 30:17
  what
• 30:17
  I
• 30:17
  remember.
• 30:18
  Yes,
• 30:20
  I
• 30:20
  want
• 30:20
  to
• 30:20
  say
• 30:20
  that's
• 30:21
  right,
• 30:21
  because
• 30:22
  it's
• 30:22
  more
• 30:22
  like
• 30:22
  Freddy
• 30:22
  getting
• 30:23
  frustrated
• 30:23
  and
• 30:24
  then
• 30:25
  him
• 30:25
  fighting
• 30:25
  against
• 30:26
  the
• 30:26
  kids
• 30:26
  more.
• 30:27
  And
• 30:28
  Jason
• 30:28
  just
• 30:29
  being
• 30:29
  the
• 30:29
  relentless,
• 30:30
  sociopathic
• 30:31
  monster
• 30:31
  that
• 30:32
  he
• 30:32
  is,
• 30:32
  just
• 30:33
  chopping
• 30:33
  and
• 30:33
  slicing
• 30:34
  as
• 30:34
  he
• 30:34
  does
• 30:34
  best.
• 30:35
  And
• 30:35
  then
• 30:36
  eventually
• 30:36
  they
• 30:36
  fight
• 30:36
  when
• 30:36
  they.
• 30:37
  Bring
• 30:37
  in
• 30:37
  the
• 30:39
  somehow
• 30:39
  knock
• 30:39
  out
• 30:40
  Jason
• 30:41
  with
• 30:41
  sedatives.
• 30:42
  Even
• 30:42
  though
• 30:43
  Jason
• 30:44
  is
• 30:44
  a
• 30:44
  ghost.
• 30:45
  Well,
• 30:47
  he's
• 30:48
  more
• 30:48
  the
• 30:48
  idea
• 30:48
  of
• 30:48
  the
• 30:49
  classical
• 30:49
  revenant
• 30:50
  in
• 30:50
  that
• 30:50
  he
• 30:51
  came
• 30:51
  back
• 30:51
  to
• 30:51
  life.
• 30:52
  It's
• 30:53
  a
• 30:53
  zombie
• 30:54
  who
• 30:54
  doesn't
• 30:54
  go
• 30:54
  after
• 30:54
  brains,
• 30:57
  who
• 30:57
  probably
• 30:58
  has
• 30:58
  some
• 30:58
  purpose
• 30:59
  in
• 30:59
  life
• 30:59
  that
• 30:59
  once
• 31:00
  in
• 31:00
  the
• 31:00
  classical
• 31:01
  English
• 31:01
  mythology
• 31:02
  would
• 31:02
  be.
• 31:03
  Once
• 31:03
  they
• 31:03
  fulfill
• 31:03
  that
• 31:04
  purpose,
• 31:04
  they're
• 31:04
  going
• 31:04
  to
• 31:04
  pass
• 31:05
  along
• 31:05
  for
• 31:05
  good.
• 31:06
  But
• 31:07
  we
• 31:07
  got
• 31:07
  money
• 31:07
  to
• 31:07
  make,
• 31:08
  so
• 31:08
  Jason
• 31:08
  can't
• 31:08
  do
• 31:08
  that.
• 31:09
  No.
• 31:10
  Yeah,
• 31:10
  I
• 31:10
  think
• 31:10
  he's.
• 31:11
  That's
• 31:11
  fair.
• 31:11
  I
• 31:11
  think
• 31:11
  he's
• 31:12
  answer
• 31:12
  like
• 31:13
  he's
• 31:13
  got
• 31:13
  a
• 31:13
  body.
• 31:13
  Like
• 31:14
  they've,
• 31:14
  they've.
• 31:15
  Yeah,
• 31:15
  Freddy's
• 31:16
  brought
• 31:16
  him
• 31:16
  back
• 31:16
  as
• 31:16
  a
• 31:17
  body
• 31:18
  but
• 31:19
  he.
• 31:19
  So
• 31:20
  he
• 31:20
  can
• 31:20
  apparently
• 31:21
  get
• 31:21
  knocked
• 31:22
  out
• 31:22
  unconscious.
• 31:24
  But
• 31:24
  I,
• 31:24
  I
• 31:25
  think
• 31:25
  that
• 31:26
  yeah,
• 31:26
  he'll
• 31:26
  always,
• 31:27
  he'll
• 31:27
  always
• 31:27
  come
• 31:27
  back.
• 31:28
  I
• 31:28
  mean
• 31:28
  that
• 31:29
  because
• 31:29
  he's,
• 31:30
  he
• 31:30
  is
• 31:30
  a
• 31:30
  ghosty
• 31:31
  in
• 31:31
  that
• 31:31
  sense.
• 31:31
  But
• 31:32
  I
• 31:32
  mean,
• 31:32
  yeah,
• 31:33
  I
• 31:33
  think
• 31:33
  it
• 31:33
  was
• 31:33
  like
• 31:34
  I
• 31:34
  watched
• 31:34
  it
• 31:34
  and
• 31:34
  I
• 31:35
  left
• 31:35
  and
• 31:35
  I
• 31:35
  was
• 31:36
  thoroughly
• 31:36
  entertained.
• 31:37
  Like.
• 31:38
  But
• 31:39
  I
• 31:39
  will
• 31:39
  say
• 31:39
  I'm
• 31:40
  a
• 31:40
  fan.
• 31:41
  Like
• 31:41
  my
• 31:42
  husband
• 31:42
  is
• 31:42
  Star
• 31:43
  wars
• 31:43
  guy.
• 31:44
  Just,
• 31:44
  you
• 31:44
  know,
• 31:45
  Disney
• 31:46
  could
• 31:46
  take
• 31:46
  a
• 31:47
  poop
• 31:47
  on
• 31:47
  a
• 31:47
  platter
• 31:48
  and
• 31:48
  put
• 31:48
  a
• 31:49
  Star
• 31:49
  wars
• 31:49
  flag
• 31:50
  in
• 31:50
  it
• 31:50
  and
• 31:51
  hand
• 31:51
  it
• 31:51
  to
• 31:51
  him
• 31:51
  and
• 31:52
  he
• 31:52
  would
• 31:52
  say,
• 31:53
  yes,
• 31:53
  I
• 31:54
  can't
• 31:54
  wait
• 31:54
  to
• 31:54
  consume.
• 31:55
  That
• 31:55
  sounds
• 31:55
  gross,
• 31:56
  but
• 31:56
  I
• 31:56
  can't
• 31:56
  wait
• 31:56
  to
• 31:57
  have
• 31:57
  this.
• 31:58
  It's
• 31:58
  a
• 31:58
  fitting
• 31:59
  analogy.
• 31:59
  It's.
• 32:00
  It's
• 32:00
  a.
• 32:00
  Yeah.
• 32:00
  And
• 32:01
  I
• 32:01
  needed
• 32:01
  a
• 32:01
  different
• 32:01
  one.
• 32:02
  But
• 32:03
  I
• 32:03
  do
• 32:03
  think
• 32:04
  that
• 32:05
  that's
• 32:05
  me
• 32:05
  with
• 32:06
  horror
• 32:06
  stuff
• 32:07
  is
• 32:07
  like
• 32:08
  I,
• 32:09
  I
• 32:09
  will
• 32:09
  go.
• 32:10
  Unless
• 32:10
  it
• 32:10
  falls
• 32:11
  in
• 32:11
  those
• 32:11
  categories
• 32:11
  we
• 32:11
  discussed
• 32:12
  earlier.
• 32:13
  I'm
• 32:13
  gonna
• 32:13
  consume
• 32:14
  the
• 32:14
  ever
• 32:14
  living
• 32:14
  heck
• 32:15
  out
• 32:15
  of
• 32:15
  it.
• 32:15
  So
• 32:15
  like.
• 32:16
  And
• 32:16
  I'm
• 32:16
  probably
• 32:17
  gonna
• 32:17
  enjoy
• 32:17
  myself.
• 32:18
  So
• 32:18
  I
• 32:18
  think
• 32:18
  they're
• 32:19
  really
• 32:19
  playing
• 32:19
  into
• 32:20
  that
• 32:20
  group.
• 32:22
  We're
• 32:22
  like
• 32:22
  the
• 32:22
  Star
• 32:22
  wars
• 32:23
  folk.
• 32:23
  But.
• 32:24
  But
• 32:24
  for
• 32:24
  scary.
• 32:25
  Yeah.
• 32:26
  I
• 32:26
  mean
• 32:27
  to
• 32:27
  an
• 32:27
  extent
• 32:27
  I'm
• 32:28
  kind
• 32:28
  of
• 32:28
  both.
• 32:29
  I'm
• 32:30
  not
• 32:30
  big
• 32:30
  on
• 32:30
  a
• 32:30
  sequel
• 32:30
  trilogy,
• 32:31
  but
• 32:31
  that's
• 32:31
  on
• 32:31
  separate
• 32:32
  issue
• 32:32
  and
• 32:32
  people
• 32:32
  have
• 32:32
  heard
• 32:32
  me
• 32:33
  complain
• 32:33
  about
• 32:33
  that
• 32:33
  for
• 32:33
  a
• 32:34
  while.
• 32:34
  So
• 32:34
  I'm
• 32:34
  not
• 32:34
  going
• 32:34
  to
• 32:34
  bore
• 32:34
  them
• 32:35
  again.
• 32:36
  Yeah,
• 32:37
  they
• 32:37
  knew
• 32:38
  people
• 32:38
  were
• 32:38
  going
• 32:38
  to
• 32:38
  be
• 32:39
  in
• 32:39
  the
• 32:39
  seats.
• 32:39
  Just
• 32:40
  premise
• 32:40
  alone.
• 32:41
  No
• 32:41
  trailer
• 32:42
  was
• 32:42
  ever
• 32:42
  going
• 32:42
  to
• 32:42
  convince
• 32:42
  them
• 32:43
  they
• 32:43
  knew
• 32:43
  it
• 32:43
  existed.
• 32:44
  Therefore
• 32:44
  they
• 32:44
  were
• 32:44
  going
• 32:44
  to
• 32:45
  be
• 32:45
  there.
• 32:46
  So
• 32:46
  I
• 32:46
  think
• 32:46
  there's
• 32:46
  a
• 32:46
  bit
• 32:47
  of
• 32:47
  laziness
• 32:47
  that
• 32:47
  came
• 32:48
  with
• 32:48
  that
• 32:48
  as
• 32:49
  far
• 32:49
  as
• 32:49
  script
• 32:49
  writing
• 32:50
  and
• 32:50
  everything
• 32:52
  and
• 32:53
  a
• 32:53
  desire
• 32:53
  to
• 32:53
  make
• 32:53
  money
• 32:54
  off
• 32:54
  the,
• 32:55
  you
• 32:55
  know,
• 32:55
  off
• 32:56
  the
• 32:56
  beat
• 32:56
  and
• 32:56
  rather
• 32:56
  than
• 32:56
  waiting
• 32:57
  a
• 32:57
  couple
• 32:57
  years.
• 32:57
  Now
• 32:58
  we
• 32:58
  know
• 32:58
  we
• 32:58
  have
• 32:58
  a
• 32:58
  tight
• 32:58
  script
• 32:59
  and
• 32:59
  a
• 32:59
  tight
• 32:59
  group
• 33:00
  of
• 33:00
  actors
• 33:00
  to
• 33:00
  work
• 33:01
  around
• 33:01
  this.
• 33:02
  But
• 33:02
  you
• 33:02
  know
• 33:02
  what?
• 33:03
  This
• 33:03
  is
• 33:03
  what
• 33:03
  they
• 33:03
  chose
• 33:04
  to
• 33:04
  release.
• 33:04
  This
• 33:04
  is
• 33:04
  what
• 33:05
  we
• 33:05
  have.
• 33:05
  There
• 33:05
  hasn't
• 33:06
  been
• 33:06
  a
• 33:06
  second
• 33:06
  one
• 33:06
  made.
• 33:07
  This
• 33:07
  is
• 33:07
  what
• 33:07
  we
• 33:08
  have.
• 33:08
  And
• 33:08
  I
• 33:08
  want
• 33:09
  to
• 33:09
  go
• 33:09
  see
• 33:09
  it.
• 33:09
  Theater.
• 33:10
  I
• 33:10
  want
• 33:10
  to
• 33:10
  go
• 33:10
  see
• 33:11
  it
• 33:11
  in
• 33:11
  the
• 33:11
  theater.
• 33:11
  Much
• 33:11
  like
• 33:12
  the,
• 33:12
  the
• 33:12
  Star
• 33:13
  wars
• 33:13
  peeps
• 33:13
  is
• 33:13
  that
• 33:14
  you
• 33:14
  know
• 33:14
  what?
• 33:15
  They
• 33:15
  probably
• 33:16
  didn't
• 33:16
  have
• 33:16
  to
• 33:17
  tighten
• 33:17
  a
• 33:17
  script
• 33:17
  or
• 33:18
  do
• 33:18
  extensive
• 33:19
  because
• 33:19
  I
• 33:19
  bet
• 33:19
  the
• 33:20
  same
• 33:20
  people
• 33:20
  who
• 33:20
  went
• 33:21
  to
• 33:21
  go
• 33:21
  see
• 33:21
  it
• 33:22
  are
• 33:22
  the
• 33:22
  same
• 33:22
  people
• 33:22
  that
• 33:23
  would
• 33:23
  have
• 33:23
  gone
• 33:23
  gone
• 33:24
  to
• 33:24
  see
• 33:24
  it
• 33:24
  otherwise,
• 33:25
  like
• 33:25
  now
• 33:25
  would
• 33:26
  it
• 33:26
  have
• 33:26
  hit
• 33:26
  like
• 33:26
  a
• 33:26
  cult
• 33:27
  classic
• 33:28
  if
• 33:28
  they'd
• 33:28
  done
• 33:28
  better
• 33:29
  with
• 33:29
  it
• 33:29
  maybe.
• 33:29
  But
• 33:30
  like
• 33:30
  this,
• 33:30
  the
• 33:30
  money
• 33:31
  at
• 33:31
  the
• 33:31
  box
• 33:31
  office
• 33:32
  I
• 33:32
  think
• 33:32
  would
• 33:32
  have
• 33:32
  stayed
• 33:33
  the
• 33:33
  same.
• 33:34
  Like
• 33:34
  because
• 33:35
  I
• 33:35
  think
• 33:35
  the
• 33:35
  people
• 33:36
  who
• 33:36
  are
• 33:36
  going.
• 33:36
  Were
• 33:37
  going.
• 33:37
  The
• 33:37
  people
• 33:37
  like
• 33:37
  me
• 33:38
  were
• 33:38
  going
• 33:38
  to
• 33:38
  go
• 33:39
  like
• 33:39
  regardless.
• 33:40
  With
• 33:40
  low
• 33:41
  expectations
• 33:42
  to
• 33:42
  be
• 33:43
  fair.
• 33:43
  I
• 33:44
  mean
• 33:44
  Jason
• 33:44
  did
• 33:45
  go
• 33:45
  to
• 33:45
  space,
• 33:46
  so.
• 33:46
  And
• 33:46
  you
• 33:47
  know
• 33:47
  what?
• 33:47
  You
• 33:47
  know
• 33:47
  why
• 33:47
  they
• 33:47
  call
• 33:48
  it
• 33:48
  Jason
• 33:48
  X?
• 33:49
  I
• 33:49
  don't.
• 33:49
  Was
• 33:49
  it
• 33:49
  the
• 33:50
  millennium
• 33:50
  or
• 33:50
  something
• 33:51
  or.
• 33:51
  Because
• 33:51
  it's
• 33:52
  10
• 33:52
  out
• 33:52
  of
• 33:52
  10,
• 33:52
  baby.
• 33:53
  One
• 33:53
  of
• 33:53
  the
• 33:53
  greatest
• 33:54
  movies
• 33:54
  of
• 33:54
  all
• 33:54
  time.
• 33:56
  It's
• 33:56
  so
• 33:56
  stupid.
• 33:57
  I
• 33:57
  hate
• 33:57
  it.
• 33:58
  I
• 33:59
  don't
• 33:59
  know
• 33:59
  that
• 33:59
  I've
• 33:59
  seen
• 33:59
  Jason
• 34:00
  X.
• 34:00
  Okay,
• 34:01
  well
• 34:01
  we
• 34:01
  may
• 34:01
  have
• 34:01
  to
• 34:01
  do
• 34:01
  that
• 34:01
  later
• 34:02
  on
• 34:02
  then.
• 34:03
  Does
• 34:03
  he.
• 34:03
  Does
• 34:04
  he
• 34:04
  become
• 34:04
  an
• 34:04
  MMA
• 34:05
  fighter?
• 34:05
  Like
• 34:05
  what's
• 34:06
  this?
• 34:07
  He's
• 34:07
  been
• 34:07
  to
• 34:07
  space
• 34:07
  and
• 34:08
  he's
• 34:08
  been
• 34:08
  to
• 34:08
  hell.
• 34:08
  He's
• 34:09
  really
• 34:09
  a.
• 34:09
  He's
• 34:10
  a
• 34:10
  world
• 34:10
  traveler.
• 34:11
  He's
• 34:12
  a
• 34:12
  renaissance
• 34:12
  man.
• 34:13
  He
• 34:13
  truly
• 34:13
  is.
• 34:14
  He
• 34:14
  doesn't
• 34:16
  kid
• 34:16
  from
• 34:16
  New
• 34:16
  Jersey.
• 34:19
  I
• 34:19
  love
• 34:20
  that
• 34:20
  they
• 34:20
  placed
• 34:20
  it
• 34:21
  as
• 34:21
  New
• 34:22
  Jersey
• 34:22
  because
• 34:23
  that
• 34:23
  was
• 34:23
  something
• 34:23
  I.
• 34:24
  I
• 34:24
  thought
• 34:24
  was
• 34:25
  funny
• 34:25
  because
• 34:25
  I
• 34:25
  don't.
• 34:26
  Was
• 34:26
  it
• 34:26
  placed
• 34:26
  in
• 34:27
  the
• 34:27
  previous
• 34:27
  films?
• 34:28
  Of
• 34:28
  course
• 34:28
  I
• 34:28
  haven't
• 34:28
  gone
• 34:28
  back
• 34:29
  to.
• 34:29
  Watch
• 34:29
  them,
• 34:29
  but
• 34:30
  there
• 34:30
  were
• 34:30
  just
• 34:30
  when.
• 34:31
  Sorry
• 34:31
  to
• 34:32
  interrupt
• 34:32
  you,
• 34:32
  but
• 34:33
  I'm
• 34:33
  fairly
• 34:33
  certain
• 34:34
  it's
• 34:34
  fairly
• 34:35
  early
• 34:35
  on
• 34:35
  In
• 34:36
  Friday
• 34:36
  the
• 34:36
  13th
• 34:37
  they
• 34:37
  say
• 34:37
  it's
• 34:37
  in
• 34:37
  New
• 34:38
  Jersey
• 34:39
  at
• 34:39
  least
• 34:39
  by
• 34:39
  the
• 34:39
  time
• 34:40
  of
• 34:40
  Takes
• 34:40
  Manhattan
• 34:41
  because
• 34:41
  somehow
• 34:41
  there's
• 34:41
  a
• 34:42
  cruise
• 34:42
  ship
• 34:42
  that
• 34:42
  goes
• 34:42
  from
• 34:43
  Camp
• 34:43
  Crystal
• 34:43
  Lake
• 34:44
  to
• 34:44
  Manhattan
• 34:45
  where
• 34:45
  they
• 34:45
  spend
• 34:46
  10min.
• 34:47
  See,
• 34:48
  they
• 34:48
  were,
• 34:48
  they
• 34:48
  were
• 34:48
  like,
• 34:49
  you
• 34:49
  know
• 34:49
  what?
• 34:49
  We're
• 34:49
  getting
• 34:50
  him
• 34:50
  a
• 34:50
  passport.
• 34:50
  Like
• 34:51
  we
• 34:51
  need
• 34:51
  to
• 34:51
  get
• 34:51
  him
• 34:52
  out
• 34:52
  of
• 34:52
  Camp
• 34:52
  Crystal
• 34:53
  Lake.
• 34:53
  And
• 34:53
  by
• 34:54
  passport
• 34:54
  I
• 34:54
  mean
• 34:55
  being
• 34:55
  able
• 34:56
  to
• 34:56
  leave
• 34:56
  the
• 34:56
  campgrounds
• 34:57
  and
• 34:58
  he
• 34:58
  really
• 34:58
  got
• 34:58
  to
• 34:59
  go.
• 34:59
  Yeah.
• 35:00
  Is
• 35:00
  that
• 35:01
  world
• 35:01
  traveler
• 35:01
  renaissance
• 35:02
  man
• 35:02
  Jason
• 35:02
  Voorhees?
• 35:03
  You
• 35:04
  can't
• 35:04
  say
• 35:04
  that
• 35:04
  about
• 35:04
  Freddy.
• 35:05
  What's
• 35:05
  the
• 35:05
  one,
• 35:06
  what's
• 35:06
  the
• 35:06
  poster
• 35:07
  that
• 35:07
  had
• 35:07
  the
• 35:07
  snake
• 35:07
  coming
• 35:08
  through
• 35:08
  the
• 35:08
  mask?
• 35:08
  Was
• 35:09
  that
• 35:09
  Freddy
• 35:09
  Goes
• 35:09
  to
• 35:10
  Hell
• 35:10
  or
• 35:10
  was
• 35:10
  that
• 35:10
  X?
• 35:11
  I
• 35:11
  can't
• 35:11
  remember.
• 35:12
  I
• 35:12
  want
• 35:12
  to
• 35:12
  say
• 35:12
  that
• 35:12
  was
• 35:13
  hell.
• 35:13
  I
• 35:13
  can't
• 35:14
  remember
• 35:14
  off
• 35:14
  the
• 35:14
  top
• 35:14
  of
• 35:14
  my
• 35:14
  head.
• 35:15
  I
• 35:15
  mean
• 35:15
  there.
• 35:16
  Here's
• 35:16
  the
• 35:16
  thing,
• 35:16
  if
• 35:16
  you're
• 35:17
  buy
• 35:17
  into
• 35:17
  the
• 35:17
  genre,
• 35:18
  they
• 35:18
  are
• 35:18
  like
• 35:19
  delightfully
• 35:20
  entertaining
• 35:20
  films.
• 35:21
  And
• 35:21
  I
• 35:21
  think
• 35:21
  that's
• 35:22
  the
• 35:22
  thing
• 35:22
  is
• 35:22
  like
• 35:23
  honestly
• 35:24
  it's.
• 35:24
  They
• 35:24
  are
• 35:24
  how
• 35:24
  I
• 35:25
  viewed
• 35:25
  Alien
• 35:26
  prior
• 35:26
  to
• 35:27
  Ridley
• 35:28
  Scott
• 35:28
  like
• 35:29
  make
• 35:30
  doing
• 35:31
  the
• 35:31
  prequels
• 35:31
  and
• 35:32
  now
• 35:32
  Alien
• 35:32
  Earth
• 35:33
  which
• 35:33
  is
• 35:33
  just
• 35:33
  taking
• 35:33
  it
• 35:34
  in
• 35:34
  a
• 35:35
  totally
• 35:36
  different
• 35:36
  direction
• 35:37
  which
• 35:37
  I
• 35:37
  think
• 35:37
  we're
• 35:38
  doing
• 35:38
  in
• 35:38
  Alien
• 35:38
  Earth
• 35:39
  thing
• 35:39
  at
• 35:39
  some
• 35:39
  stage.
• 35:41
  O.
• 35:41
  But
• 35:41
  yeah,
• 35:42
  I
• 35:42
  think
• 35:42
  it,
• 35:43
  it's
• 35:43
  taking
• 35:44
  that
• 35:44
  franchise
• 35:45
  in
• 35:45
  a
• 35:45
  more
• 35:46
  like.
• 35:46
  I
• 35:47
  would
• 35:47
  almost
• 35:47
  say
• 35:47
  classical
• 35:48
  sci
• 35:48
  fi
• 35:49
  realm.
• 35:49
  Like.
• 35:49
  Like
• 35:50
  the
• 35:50
  Star
• 35:50
  wars
• 35:51
  thing.
• 35:51
  It's
• 35:51
  trying
• 35:52
  to
• 35:52
  make
• 35:52
  it
• 35:53
  sort
• 35:53
  of
• 35:53
  more
• 35:53
  intellectual
• 35:54
  and,
• 35:54
  and
• 35:55
  have
• 35:55
  a
• 35:55
  history.
• 35:56
  Whereas,
• 35:56
  like,
• 35:57
  I
• 35:57
  don't
• 35:57
  think
• 35:57
  that
• 35:57
  that
• 35:58
  really
• 35:58
  exists
• 35:59
  for,
• 36:00
  at
• 36:00
  least
• 36:00
  for
• 36:00
  Jason.
• 36:01
  I
• 36:01
  think
• 36:01
  they
• 36:01
  tried
• 36:02
  it
• 36:02
  with
• 36:02
  Friday
• 36:02
  the
• 36:03
  13th,
• 36:03
  but
• 36:04
  yeah,
• 36:04
  it's.
• 36:05
  It,
• 36:06
  it's
• 36:06
  a
• 36:07
  different
• 36:07
  film.
• 36:08
  It's
• 36:08
  a
• 36:08
  very
• 36:08
  fun
• 36:09
  film.
• 36:09
  Like
• 36:09
  I
• 36:09
  said,
• 36:09
  I
• 36:10
  say
• 36:10
  10
• 36:10
  out
• 36:10
  of
• 36:10
  10.
• 36:11
  Not
• 36:11
  ironically.
• 36:12
  I
• 36:12
  do
• 36:12
  believe
• 36:12
  it's
• 36:12
  a
• 36:13
  10
• 36:13
  out
• 36:13
  of
• 36:13
  10
• 36:13
  film.
• 36:13
  Not
• 36:14
  for
• 36:14
  the
• 36:14
  reasons
• 36:14
  they
• 36:14
  want
• 36:14
  it
• 36:15
  to
• 36:15
  be,
• 36:16
  but
• 36:17
  that's
• 36:17
  when
• 36:17
  we
• 36:17
  talk
• 36:17
  about
• 36:18
  that
• 36:18
  later
• 36:18
  on,
• 36:19
  since
• 36:19
  we
• 36:19
  did
• 36:20
  bring
• 36:20
  it
• 36:20
  up
• 36:20
  earlier,
• 36:20
  because
• 36:20
  it
• 36:21
  kind
• 36:21
  of
• 36:21
  answered
• 36:21
  some
• 36:22
  of
• 36:22
  the
• 36:22
  other
• 36:22
  ones
• 36:22
  I
• 36:22
  had.
• 36:23
  So
• 36:24
  in
• 36:24
  your
• 36:24
  synopsis,
• 36:24
  you
• 36:25
  mentioned
• 36:25
  the
• 36:25
  idea
• 36:26
  of
• 36:26
  how
• 36:26
  they
• 36:26
  repressed
• 36:27
  knowledge
• 36:27
  of
• 36:27
  Freddie
• 36:27
  was
• 36:28
  to
• 36:28
  kind
• 36:28
  of
• 36:28
  like
• 36:28
  put
• 36:28
  people
• 36:29
  under
• 36:29
  in
• 36:29
  this
• 36:30
  state
• 36:30
  of
• 36:30
  not
• 36:30
  being
• 36:30
  able
• 36:30
  to
• 36:31
  dream
• 36:31
  and
• 36:32
  making
• 36:32
  sure
• 36:32
  only
• 36:33
  a,
• 36:33
  a
• 36:33
  finite
• 36:34
  amount
• 36:34
  of
• 36:34
  people
• 36:34
  knew
• 36:35
  who
• 36:35
  Freddie
• 36:35
  was
• 36:36
  in
• 36:36
  order
• 36:36
  to
• 36:36
  prevent
• 36:37
  him
• 36:37
  from
• 36:37
  like
• 36:37
  feeding
• 36:37
  off
• 36:38
  of
• 36:38
  them.
• 36:38
  So,
• 36:38
  like,
• 36:39
  is
• 36:39
  this
• 36:39
  a
• 36:39
  good
• 36:40
  strategy
• 36:40
  of
• 36:41
  well
• 36:41
  intentioned
• 36:41
  extremism
• 36:42
  or
• 36:42
  naive
• 36:43
  optimism?
• 36:43
  Where
• 36:43
  do
• 36:44
  you
• 36:44
  kind
• 36:44
  of
• 36:44
  fall
• 36:44
  into
• 36:44
  this?
• 36:45
  Oh,
• 36:45
  like
• 36:45
  the
• 36:46
  moral
• 36:46
  dilemma
• 36:46
  of
• 36:47
  sedating
• 36:47
  people
• 36:48
  so
• 36:48
  they
• 36:48
  don't,
• 36:49
  they
• 36:50
  don't
• 36:51
  dream.
• 36:53
  Well,
• 36:53
  they
• 36:53
  sort
• 36:54
  of
• 36:54
  kidnapped
• 36:54
  them,
• 36:55
  didn't
• 36:55
  they?
• 36:55
  I
• 36:55
  mean,
• 36:56
  in
• 36:56
  that
• 36:57
  I.
• 36:58
  Have
• 36:58
  you
• 36:59
  watched
• 36:59
  any
• 36:59
  of
• 36:59
  American
• 36:59
  Horror
• 37:00
  Story,
• 37:01
  the
• 37:01
  Asylum
• 37:02
  season,
• 37:03
  which.
• 37:03
  That
• 37:04
  was
• 37:04
  early
• 37:04
  on,
• 37:04
  right?
• 37:05
  I
• 37:05
  want
• 37:05
  to
• 37:05
  say
• 37:05
  yes.
• 37:07
  Yeah.
• 37:08
  Where
• 37:08
  she
• 37:08
  sort
• 37:09
  of
• 37:09
  tries
• 37:09
  to
• 37:09
  infiltrate
• 37:10
  the
• 37:11
  asylum
• 37:12
  and
• 37:12
  as
• 37:12
  a
• 37:12
  reporter
• 37:13
  to
• 37:13
  like
• 37:14
  talk.
• 37:14
  Nelly
• 37:15
  Bly.
• 37:15
  Yeah,
• 37:15
  yeah,
• 37:16
  that's
• 37:16
  right.
• 37:16
  And.
• 37:17
  But
• 37:17
  then
• 37:17
  they
• 37:17
  won't
• 37:18
  let
• 37:18
  her
• 37:18
  out
• 37:18
  and
• 37:18
  they
• 37:18
  do
• 37:18
  like
• 37:19
  terrible
• 37:19
  things
• 37:19
  to
• 37:20
  her.
• 37:21
  I
• 37:21
  mean,
• 37:21
  I,
• 37:22
  I
• 37:22
  have
• 37:23
  ever
• 37:23
  since
• 37:23
  then
• 37:23
  I've
• 37:24
  had
• 37:24
  this
• 37:24
  fear
• 37:25
  and
• 37:25
  my
• 37:25
  fears
• 37:26
  watching
• 37:27
  horror
• 37:27
  are
• 37:28
  very
• 37:28
  strange.
• 37:29
  But
• 37:30
  a
• 37:30
  fear
• 37:30
  that
• 37:30
  I
• 37:31
  have
• 37:31
  is
• 37:31
  that
• 37:31
  I'm
• 37:31
  going
• 37:32
  to
• 37:32
  go
• 37:32
  away
• 37:32
  to
• 37:32
  something
• 37:33
  like
• 37:33
  that
• 37:33
  and
• 37:34
  I'm
• 37:34
  going
• 37:34
  to
• 37:34
  tell
• 37:34
  everyone
• 37:35
  I'm
• 37:35
  not
• 37:35
  crazy
• 37:36
  and
• 37:36
  that
• 37:36
  they're
• 37:36
  going
• 37:37
  to
• 37:37
  say
• 37:37
  you're
• 37:37
  crazy
• 37:38
  and
• 37:38
  then
• 37:38
  just
• 37:39
  like
• 37:40
  lobotomize
• 37:40
  the
• 37:41
  heck
• 37:41
  out
• 37:41
  of
• 37:41
  me.
• 37:42
  And
• 37:43
  like
• 37:43
  there's
• 37:43
  something
• 37:43
  about
• 37:44
  pleading
• 37:44
  a
• 37:44
  case
• 37:45
  and
• 37:45
  saying
• 37:45
  I'm
• 37:45
  not
• 37:45
  crazy.
• 37:46
  So
• 37:47
  I
• 37:47
  think
• 37:47
  not
• 37:47
  being
• 37:48
  believed.
• 37:48
  Not
• 37:49
  being
• 37:49
  believed.
• 37:49
  And
• 37:50
  so
• 37:50
  clearly
• 37:50
  these
• 37:50
  people
• 37:51
  in
• 37:51
  this
• 37:51
  institution,
• 37:53
  you
• 37:53
  know,
• 37:54
  I'm
• 37:55
  telling
• 37:55
  you,
• 37:55
  like
• 37:55
  there
• 37:56
  was.
• 37:56
  But
• 37:56
  how
• 37:56
  do
• 37:56
  you
• 37:56
  explain
• 37:57
  that?
• 37:58
  And
• 37:58
  I
• 37:58
  think
• 37:58
  that,
• 37:59
  like,
• 37:59
  how
• 37:59
  do
• 37:59
  you
• 38:00
  explain
• 38:00
  that
• 38:01
  there
• 38:01
  was
• 38:01
  a
• 38:01
  guy
• 38:01
  with
• 38:01
  knives
• 38:02
  on
• 38:02
  his
• 38:02
  fingers
• 38:02
  that
• 38:03
  came
• 38:03
  and
• 38:03
  like
• 38:03
  kill
• 38:03
  people.
• 38:04
  People
• 38:04
  be
• 38:04
  like,
• 38:04
  oh,
• 38:05
  okay,
• 38:05
  cool.
• 38:06
  So
• 38:06
  I
• 38:07
  think
• 38:07
  there's
• 38:07
  a
• 38:07
  real
• 38:08
  idea
• 38:08
  here
• 38:09
  of
• 38:09
  how
• 38:09
  we
• 38:10
  listen
• 38:10
  to
• 38:10
  people
• 38:11
  and
• 38:11
  like
• 38:12
  how
• 38:12
  we
• 38:12
  deal
• 38:12
  with
• 38:12
  now,
• 38:13
  now
• 38:13
  their
• 38:13
  intentions
• 38:14
  for
• 38:14
  overreach.
• 38:14
  Clearly.
• 38:15
  I
• 38:15
  mean,
• 38:15
  you
• 38:15
  can't
• 38:16
  just
• 38:16
  like
• 38:16
  when
• 38:17
  someone's
• 38:17
  like
• 38:17
  stirring
• 38:18
  stuff
• 38:18
  up
• 38:18
  or
• 38:19
  protesting.
• 38:19
  I
• 38:19
  mean,
• 38:21
  hello,
• 38:21
  the
• 38:21
  frog
• 38:21
  in
• 38:21
  Portland.
• 38:22
  You
• 38:22
  can't
• 38:22
  just,
• 38:23
  you
• 38:23
  know,
• 38:24
  take
• 38:24
  them
• 38:24
  out
• 38:25
  and
• 38:26
  say
• 38:26
  like,
• 38:26
  you
• 38:27
  know,
• 38:27
  sweep
• 38:27
  it
• 38:27
  under
• 38:28
  the
• 38:28
  carpet.
• 38:29
  So
• 38:29
  I
• 38:29
  think
• 38:29
  that
• 38:29
  their
• 38:30
  intentions
• 38:30
  were
• 38:31
  bad.
• 38:31
  Like,
• 38:31
  I
• 38:31
  don't
• 38:32
  think
• 38:32
  that
• 38:32
  it
• 38:32
  was
• 38:33
  the
• 38:33
  way
• 38:33
  to
• 38:33
  go
• 38:33
  about
• 38:34
  it.
• 38:34
  Like,
• 38:34
  it
• 38:35
  was,
• 38:35
  instead
• 38:35
  of
• 38:35
  like
• 38:36
  facing
• 38:36
  your
• 38:36
  problem
• 38:37
  head
• 38:37
  on,
• 38:38
  it
• 38:38
  was
• 38:38
  essentially
• 38:39
  saying,
• 38:39
  you
• 38:40
  know,
• 38:40
  we're
• 38:40
  just
• 38:40
  gonna
• 38:41
  sweep
• 38:41
  you
• 38:41
  under
• 38:41
  the
• 38:41
  carpet.
• 38:42
  We're
• 38:42
  gonna
• 38:42
  put
• 38:42
  you
• 38:42
  in
• 38:42
  this
• 38:43
  asylum
• 38:43
  and
• 38:43
  no
• 38:44
  one's
• 38:44
  gonna
• 38:44
  believe
• 38:44
  you
• 38:45
  because
• 38:45
  you're
• 38:45
  talking
• 38:45
  about
• 38:45
  knife
• 38:46
  finger
• 38:46
  guy.
• 38:47
  And
• 38:47
  that's
• 38:47
  a
• 38:47
  one
• 38:48
  way
• 38:48
  ticket
• 38:48
  to
• 38:48
  never
• 38:49
  getting
• 38:49
  out.
• 38:49
  And
• 38:50
  then
• 38:50
  we're
• 38:50
  just
• 38:50
  going
• 38:50
  to
• 38:50
  sedate
• 38:51
  you
• 38:51
  forever.
• 38:53
  Now
• 38:53
  I'm.
• 38:54
  I
• 38:54
  am
• 38:54
  someone
• 38:54
  who
• 38:55
  is
• 38:55
  a
• 38:55
  strong
• 38:55
  advocate
• 38:56
  of
• 38:56
  mental
• 38:57
  health
• 38:57
  care
• 38:57
  in
• 38:58
  all
• 38:58
  of
• 38:58
  its
• 38:58
  forms.
• 38:59
  So
• 39:00
  one
• 39:00
  of
• 39:00
  the
• 39:00
  things
• 39:01
  that
• 39:01
  I
• 39:01
  will
• 39:01
  say
• 39:01
  I
• 39:02
  was
• 39:02
  pro
• 39:03
  in
• 39:03
  this
• 39:03
  film
• 39:04
  is
• 39:04
  giving
• 39:05
  people
• 39:06
  that
• 39:06
  medicine.
• 39:07
  Like,
• 39:07
  instead
• 39:08
  of
• 39:08
  taking
• 39:08
  them
• 39:08
  off
• 39:09
  to
• 39:09
  the
• 39:09
  asylum,
• 39:11
  maybe
• 39:11
  just
• 39:11
  like,
• 39:12
  let
• 39:12
  them
• 39:13
  have
• 39:13
  the
• 39:13
  medicine.
• 39:14
  This
• 39:14
  is
• 39:15
  maybe
• 39:15
  my
• 39:15
  universal
• 39:15
  health
• 39:16
  care
• 39:16
  bed.
• 39:16
  I
• 39:16
  did
• 39:16
  live
• 39:17
  in
• 39:17
  Scotland.
• 39:17
  Just
• 39:17
  let
• 39:18
  the
• 39:18
  whole
• 39:18
  of
• 39:18
  Elm
• 39:19
  street
• 39:19
  have
• 39:20
  access
• 39:21
  to
• 39:21
  the
• 39:22
  medicine.
• 39:22
  Make
• 39:23
  it
• 39:23
  a
• 39:23
  part
• 39:23
  of
• 39:23
  your
• 39:24
  daily
• 39:24
  life.
• 39:25
  Like,
• 39:26
  I
• 39:26
  have
• 39:26
  dreams.
• 39:26
  I
• 39:27
  do
• 39:27
  remember
• 39:27
  my
• 39:27
  dreams.
• 39:28
  I
• 39:29
  wish
• 39:29
  80%
• 39:30
  of
• 39:30
  the
• 39:31
  time
• 39:31
  I
• 39:31
  did
• 39:31
  it.
• 39:32
  So
• 39:32
  if
• 39:32
  you
• 39:32
  were
• 39:32
  like,
• 39:32
  hey
• 39:33
  girl,
• 39:33
  you'll
• 39:34
  still
• 39:34
  get
• 39:34
  that
• 39:34
  REM
• 39:35
  sleep
• 39:35
  and
• 39:36
  you
• 39:36
  don't
• 39:36
  have
• 39:36
  to
• 39:36
  worry
• 39:36
  about
• 39:37
  that
• 39:37
  anymore.
• 39:37
  I'd
• 39:37
  be
• 39:38
  like,
• 39:38
  sign
• 39:38
  me
• 39:39
  up.
• 39:39
  Okay,
• 39:40
  so
• 39:40
  the
• 39:41
  ethics,
• 39:42
  in
• 39:42
  summary,
• 39:42
  the
• 39:42
  ethics
• 39:43
  of
• 39:43
  taking
• 39:43
  someone
• 39:44
  and
• 39:44
  putting
• 39:44
  them
• 39:44
  away
• 39:45
  forever
• 39:46
  and
• 39:46
  not
• 39:47
  listening
• 39:47
  to
• 39:47
  them
• 39:48
  is,
• 39:48
  to
• 39:49
  me,
• 39:49
  was
• 39:49
  not
• 39:50
  the
• 39:50
  answer.
• 39:50
  I
• 39:51
  think
• 39:51
  understanding
• 39:52
  that
• 39:52
  this
• 39:52
  is
• 39:53
  the
• 39:53
  way
• 39:53
  to
• 39:53
  keep
• 39:54
  him
• 39:54
  away
• 39:54
  in
• 39:55
  a
• 39:55
  way
• 39:55
  that
• 39:55
  didn't
• 39:55
  involve
• 39:56
  that
• 39:57
  via
• 39:57
  the
• 39:57
  medicine
• 39:58
  is
• 39:58
  probably
• 39:58
  a
• 39:59
  more
• 39:59
  ethical
• 39:59
  way,
• 40:00
  in
• 40:00
  my
• 40:00
  opinion.
• 40:01
  Yeah,
• 40:01
  I'm
• 40:01
  with
• 40:01
  you.
• 40:02
  I
• 40:02
  would
• 40:03
  define
• 40:03
  this
• 40:03
  as
• 40:04
  not
• 40:04
  causing
• 40:04
  a
• 40:05
  greater
• 40:05
  good,
• 40:07
  but
• 40:08
  devil's
• 40:09
  advocate
• 40:09
  to
• 40:09
  put
• 40:09
  myself
• 40:09
  in
• 40:10
  their
• 40:10
  position.
• 40:10
  For
• 40:10
  the
• 40:10
  sake
• 40:11
  of
• 40:11
  argument,
• 40:12
  you
• 40:12
  are
• 40:12
  dealing
• 40:13
  with
• 40:13
  a
• 40:13
  being
• 40:14
  that
• 40:14
  by
• 40:14
  his
• 40:15
  very
• 40:15
  nature,
• 40:15
  if
• 40:15
  you
• 40:16
  mention
• 40:16
  him
• 40:16
  to
• 40:16
  other
• 40:17
  people,
• 40:17
  you've
• 40:18
  infected
• 40:18
  someone
• 40:19
  else
• 40:20
  with
• 40:20
  the
• 40:20
  knowledge.
• 40:22
  So
• 40:22
  how
• 40:23
  do
• 40:23
  you
• 40:23
  stop
• 40:23
  that
• 40:23
  from
• 40:23
  spreading?
• 40:24
  Especially
• 40:24
  when
• 40:25
  you
• 40:25
  get
• 40:25
  cases
• 40:26
  of
• 40:26
  people
• 40:26
  dying
• 40:27
  in
• 40:27
  their
• 40:27
  sleep
• 40:28
  in
• 40:28
  unnatural
• 40:29
  ways.
• 40:29
  Well,
• 40:30
  you
• 40:30
  can
• 40:30
  only
• 40:31
  have
• 40:31
  a
• 40:32
  gag
• 40:32
  on
• 40:32
  the
• 40:32
  media
• 40:32
  for
• 40:33
  so
• 40:33
  long
• 40:34
  before
• 40:34
  that
• 40:35
  goes
• 40:35
  elsewhere
• 40:36
  and
• 40:36
  more
• 40:36
  people
• 40:36
  learn
• 40:37
  that
• 40:37
  kind
• 40:37
  of
• 40:37
  question.
• 40:37
  Why
• 40:38
  is
• 40:38
  it
• 40:38
  only
• 40:38
  here
• 40:38
  in
• 40:38
  Elm
• 40:39
  Street?
• 40:39
  Well,
• 40:39
  in
• 40:40
  this
• 40:40
  town,
• 40:40
  why
• 40:41
  is
• 40:41
  it
• 40:41
  only
• 40:41
  happening
• 40:41
  there?
• 40:42
  So
• 40:43
  assuming
• 40:44
  they
• 40:44
  have
• 40:44
  tried
• 40:45
  literally
• 40:45
  everything
• 40:45
  else,
• 40:46
  which
• 40:46
  I
• 40:46
  don't
• 40:46
  think
• 40:47
  that
• 40:47
  they
• 40:47
  did,
• 40:48
  let
• 40:48
  me
• 40:48
  say
• 40:48
  that
• 40:49
  it
• 40:50
  makes
• 40:50
  a
• 40:51
  logical
• 40:51
  sense.
• 40:52
  Not
• 40:52
  the
• 40:52
  best
• 40:52
  logical
• 40:53
  sense,
• 40:53
  but
• 40:53
  it
• 40:53
  makes
• 40:53
  a
• 40:54
  logical
• 40:54
  sense
• 40:54
  of
• 40:56
  let's
• 40:56
  limit
• 40:56
  the
• 40:56
  number
• 40:56
  of
• 40:57
  people.
• 40:57
  Yes,
• 40:57
  this
• 40:58
  is
• 40:58
  a
• 40:58
  Very
• 40:58
  reprehensible
• 40:59
  thing.
• 40:59
  Let's
• 40:59
  put
• 41:00
  them
• 41:00
  under
• 41:00
  where
• 41:01
  they
• 41:01
  can
• 41:03
  be
• 41:03
  asleep,
• 41:03
  get
• 41:04
  the
• 41:04
  full
• 41:04
  effects
• 41:04
  of
• 41:04
  it,
• 41:04
  but
• 41:05
  not
• 41:05
  trigger
• 41:06
  Freddy's
• 41:06
  ability
• 41:07
  to
• 41:07
  go
• 41:07
  into
• 41:07
  our
• 41:07
  minds.
• 41:08
  I
• 41:08
  get
• 41:09
  it.
• 41:09
  I'm
• 41:09
  not
• 41:10
  for
• 41:10
  it,
• 41:10
  but
• 41:11
  I
• 41:11
  get
• 41:11
  it.
• 41:12
  Yeah.
• 41:12
  I
• 41:12
  mean,
• 41:12
  I.
• 41:13
  What
• 41:13
  you're
• 41:14
  saying,
• 41:14
  because
• 41:14
  you're
• 41:14
  right,
• 41:15
  the
• 41:15
  knowledge
• 41:15
  doesn't
• 41:16
  go
• 41:16
  away.
• 41:16
  It's
• 41:17
  just
• 41:17
  the.
• 41:17
  The
• 41:18
  vessel
• 41:18
  to
• 41:19
  which
• 41:19
  he
• 41:19
  accesses
• 41:20
  you.
• 41:20
  You
• 41:21
  can
• 41:21
  prevent
• 41:21
  if
• 41:22
  you
• 41:22
  have
• 41:22
  this
• 41:22
  medicine.
• 41:23
  But.
• 41:23
  And
• 41:23
  then
• 41:24
  there's
• 41:24
  like
• 41:24
  little
• 41:24
  kids.
• 41:25
  Like,
• 41:25
  are
• 41:25
  they
• 41:25
  going
• 41:26
  to
• 41:26
  take
• 41:26
  the
• 41:26
  medicine?
• 41:26
  Like,
• 41:27
  are
• 41:27
  you
• 41:27
  going
• 41:27
  to
• 41:27
  make
• 41:27
  that?
• 41:28
  Like,
• 41:28
  you
• 41:28
  know,
• 41:28
  there's
• 41:29
  a
• 41:29
  lot
• 41:29
  of
• 41:29
  regulation
• 41:30
  that
• 41:30
  would
• 41:30
  have
• 41:30
  to
• 41:30
  take
• 41:30
  place.
• 41:31
  But
• 41:31
  it
• 41:32
  does
• 41:32
  remind
• 41:32
  me
• 41:32
  of.
• 41:33
  Of
• 41:34
  had
• 41:34
  a
• 41:34
  PhD
• 41:35
  student
• 41:35
  in
• 41:35
  Scotland
• 41:36
  once
• 41:36
  that
• 41:37
  researched.
• 41:38
  They
• 41:38
  used
• 41:39
  to.
• 41:39
  When
• 41:39
  women
• 41:39
  would
• 41:40
  get
• 41:40
  pregnant,
• 41:40
  like
• 41:41
  in
• 41:41
  the
• 41:41
  1800s,
• 41:42
  they
• 41:42
  would
• 41:43
  send
• 41:43
  them
• 41:43
  to
• 41:43
  these
• 41:44
  basically
• 41:45
  places
• 41:46
  where
• 41:46
  they
• 41:46
  want
• 41:46
  to
• 41:46
  sweep
• 41:46
  you
• 41:47
  under
• 41:47
  the
• 41:47
  rug.
• 41:47
  Like,
• 41:48
  you
• 41:48
  get.
• 41:48
  You
• 41:48
  can
• 41:48
  have
• 41:49
  your
• 41:49
  baby,
• 41:49
  like,
• 41:50
  but
• 41:50
  you
• 41:51
  live
• 41:51
  there,
• 41:51
  you
• 41:52
  work
• 41:52
  there.
• 41:53
  Will
• 41:53
  take.
• 41:53
  But
• 41:53
  then
• 41:54
  you
• 41:54
  are
• 41:54
  never
• 41:54
  seen
• 41:54
  by
• 41:55
  society
• 41:55
  ever
• 41:56
  again.
• 41:56
  So
• 41:56
  it
• 41:57
  was
• 41:57
  giving
• 41:57
  me
• 41:57
  like,
• 41:57
  very
• 41:58
  much
• 41:58
  that
• 41:59
  vibe
• 41:59
  of
• 42:00
  like,
• 42:00
  this
• 42:01
  is
• 42:01
  the
• 42:01
  answer
• 42:01
  is
• 42:01
  just
• 42:02
  to
• 42:02
  make
• 42:02
  sure
• 42:02
  we.
• 42:03
  We
• 42:03
  don't.
• 42:04
  We
• 42:04
  don't
• 42:04
  kill
• 42:04
  them
• 42:05
  because
• 42:05
  it's
• 42:05
  not
• 42:06
  genocidal,
• 42:06
  but
• 42:07
  it's
• 42:07
  like
• 42:07
  we're
• 42:08
  gonna
• 42:08
  like,
• 42:08
  make
• 42:09
  sure
• 42:09
  it
• 42:09
  seem
• 42:09
  like
• 42:10
  they
• 42:10
  never
• 42:10
  existed.
• 42:11
  And.
• 42:12
  But
• 42:12
  you're
• 42:12
  quite
• 42:13
  right.
• 42:13
  The
• 42:13
  practical
• 42:14
  part
• 42:14
  of
• 42:14
  me
• 42:14
  says,
• 42:15
  what
• 42:15
  are
• 42:16
  the
• 42:16
  other
• 42:16
  options?
• 42:17
  You
• 42:17
  know,
• 42:18
  like,
• 42:18
  because
• 42:18
  at
• 42:19
  one
• 42:19
  stage
• 42:19
  you
• 42:19
  had
• 42:19
  like
• 42:19
  a
• 42:19
  dad
• 42:20
  lying
• 42:20
  to
• 42:20
  his
• 42:20
  daughter
• 42:21
  about
• 42:21
  his.
• 42:22
  The
• 42:22
  mom's
• 42:22
  murderer
• 42:23
  because
• 42:24
  it
• 42:24
  was
• 42:24
  actually
• 42:24
  Freddie
• 42:25
  that
• 42:25
  did
• 42:25
  it.
• 42:26
  And
• 42:26
  it's
• 42:26
  like,
• 42:26
  so
• 42:26
  these
• 42:27
  are
• 42:27
  the
• 42:27
  extremes
• 42:27
  these
• 42:28
  people
• 42:28
  are
• 42:28
  doing
• 42:28
  to
• 42:29
  like,
• 42:29
  not
• 42:29
  talk
• 42:30
  about
• 42:30
  it.
• 42:32
  So.
• 42:32
  But
• 42:32
  that's
• 42:33
  what
• 42:33
  makes
• 42:33
  Freddie
• 42:33
  so
• 42:34
  tricky
• 42:34
  is
• 42:35
  like,
• 42:35
  he's
• 42:35
  a
• 42:36
  tricky
• 42:36
  villain
• 42:36
  in
• 42:37
  that
• 42:37
  sense.
• 42:37
  Like,
• 42:38
  they
• 42:38
  had
• 42:38
  to
• 42:39
  send
• 42:39
  Jason
• 42:39
  to
• 42:39
  space
• 42:40
  to
• 42:40
  get
• 42:40
  his
• 42:41
  ass
• 42:41
  off
• 42:41
  the
• 42:42
  ground
• 42:43
  and
• 42:43
  out
• 42:43
  of
• 42:44
  Camp
• 42:44
  Crystal
• 42:44
  Lake.
• 42:45
  Like,
• 42:45
  he's,
• 42:46
  you
• 42:46
  know,
• 42:46
  they
• 42:47
  had
• 42:47
  to
• 42:47
  make
• 42:47
  him
• 42:47
  scared.
• 42:48
  Freddie
• 42:48
  is
• 42:48
  so
• 42:49
  squirmy.
• 42:49
  Like
• 42:49
  you,
• 42:50
  you
• 42:50
  know,
• 42:50
  he's.
• 42:51
  He's
• 42:51
  thinking,
• 42:52
  he's
• 42:52
  thinking
• 42:53
  through
• 42:53
  it
• 42:54
  and
• 42:54
  like,
• 42:54
  so
• 42:55
  I
• 42:55
  don't
• 42:55
  know.
• 42:55
  You're
• 42:55
  right.
• 42:56
  I
• 42:56
  don't
• 42:56
  know.
• 42:56
  You
• 42:57
  could
• 42:57
  solve
• 42:57
  the
• 42:57
  sleep
• 42:58
  problem
• 42:58
  or
• 42:58
  you
• 42:58
  can
• 42:58
  solve
• 42:59
  the
• 42:59
  memory
• 42:59
  problem.
• 43:00
  Like,
• 43:00
  and
• 43:01
  in
• 43:01
  that
• 43:01
  sense,
• 43:01
  I
• 43:01
  guess
• 43:01
  they
• 43:02
  did
• 43:02
  both.
• 43:03
  But,
• 43:03
  you
• 43:04
  know,
• 43:04
  it's.
• 43:05
  It's
• 43:05
  sort
• 43:05
  of
• 43:05
  the,
• 43:05
  the
• 43:06
  ethical
• 43:06
  argument.
• 43:07
  The
• 43:07
  utilitarian
• 43:08
  is
• 43:08
  the,
• 43:08
  you
• 43:09
  know,
• 43:09
  the
• 43:09
  greatest
• 43:09
  good
• 43:09
  for
• 43:10
  the
• 43:10
  greatest
• 43:10
  number
• 43:10
  is
• 43:11
  even
• 43:11
  if
• 43:12
  it's
• 43:12
  really
• 43:12
  bad,
• 43:13
  you
• 43:13
  know.
• 43:13
  Yeah.
• 43:14
  Is.
• 43:14
  Is.
• 43:15
  Is
• 43:15
  that
• 43:15
  what
• 43:15
  they
• 43:16
  did?
• 43:16
  Like
• 43:16
  the
• 43:16
  train
• 43:17
  track
• 43:18
  thing?
• 43:18
  You've
• 43:18
  got
• 43:18
  four
• 43:19
  people
• 43:19
  or
• 43:19
  two
• 43:20
  People,
• 43:20
  which
• 43:20
  way
• 43:20
  do
• 43:21
  you
• 43:21
  go?
• 43:22
  And
• 43:22
  we
• 43:23
  don't
• 43:23
  know
• 43:23
  what
• 43:23
  else
• 43:24
  they
• 43:24
  attempted
• 43:24
  because
• 43:25
  it
• 43:25
  doesn't
• 43:25
  really
• 43:25
  choose
• 43:26
  to
• 43:26
  focus
• 43:26
  on
• 43:26
  that.
• 43:27
  I
• 43:27
  don't
• 43:27
  think.
• 43:27
  I
• 43:27
  don't
• 43:27
  think
• 43:27
  they
• 43:28
  cared
• 43:28
  about
• 43:28
  it
• 43:28
  as
• 43:28
  much
• 43:28
  as
• 43:29
  we
• 43:29
  do
• 43:29
  right
• 43:29
  now.
• 43:31
  More
• 43:31
  in
• 43:32
  depth
• 43:32
  in
• 43:32
  this
• 43:32
  movie
• 43:32
  than
• 43:33
  they
• 43:33
  did
• 43:33
  in
• 43:33
  the
• 43:34
  scriptwriter's
• 43:34
  room,
• 43:35
  to
• 43:35
  be
• 43:35
  fair.
• 43:36
  But
• 43:38
  assuming
• 43:38
  that
• 43:38
  they
• 43:38
  had
• 43:39
  done
• 43:39
  literally
• 43:39
  everything
• 43:40
  else,
• 43:40
  I
• 43:40
  get
• 43:41
  that
• 43:41
  this
• 43:41
  is
• 43:41
  where
• 43:41
  they
• 43:42
  ended
• 43:42
  up
• 43:42
  at.
• 43:42
  I'm
• 43:42
  still
• 43:43
  not
• 43:43
  big
• 43:43
  on
• 43:43
  it,
• 43:43
  but
• 43:43
  I.
• 43:44
  Once
• 43:44
  again,
• 43:44
  I
• 43:44
  get
• 43:44
  it.
• 43:45
  Yeah.
• 43:46
  And
• 43:46
  I.
• 43:46
  You're
• 43:46
  right.
• 43:47
  I
• 43:47
  don't.
• 43:47
  I.
• 43:48
  I
• 43:48
  don't
• 43:49
  know
• 43:49
  what
• 43:49
  the
• 43:49
  answer
• 43:49
  about
• 43:50
  the
• 43:50
  memory
• 43:50
  thing
• 43:51
  would
• 43:51
  be,
• 43:51
  like,
• 43:51
  how
• 43:52
  you
• 43:52
  would
• 43:52
  prevent
• 43:52
  people
• 43:53
  from.
• 43:53
  From.
• 43:54
  Although,
• 43:54
  you
• 43:55
  know,
• 43:55
  there's
• 43:55
  certain
• 43:55
  things
• 43:56
  that
• 43:56
  you
• 43:57
  and
• 43:57
  I
• 43:57
  don't
• 43:57
  say
• 43:58
  or
• 43:58
  talk
• 43:58
  about
• 43:59
  that
• 43:59
  we
• 43:59
  were
• 43:59
  taught
• 44:00
  as
• 44:00
  young
• 44:00
  people
• 44:00
  not
• 44:01
  to.
• 44:03
  They
• 44:03
  could
• 44:03
  maybe,
• 44:04
  like,
• 44:04
  there's
• 44:04
  certain
• 44:05
  words
• 44:05
  we
• 44:05
  don't
• 44:06
  say
• 44:07
  as
• 44:07
  a
• 44:07
  rule.
• 44:08
  And
• 44:08
  I
• 44:08
  think
• 44:09
  maybe
• 44:09
  you
• 44:09
  could
• 44:10
  really
• 44:10
  ingrain
• 44:11
  in
• 44:11
  the
• 44:11
  children
• 44:12
  that
• 44:12
  this
• 44:13
  was
• 44:13
  one
• 44:13
  of
• 44:13
  those
• 44:14
  words.
• 44:16
  But
• 44:16
  you're
• 44:17
  right.
• 44:18
  I
• 44:18
  don't
• 44:18
  know
• 44:18
  if
• 44:18
  that's
• 44:19
  gonna
• 44:19
  work.
• 44:19
  Yeah.
• 44:20
  I
• 44:20
  mean,
• 44:20
  because
• 44:21
  essentially
• 44:21
  it's
• 44:22
  a
• 44:22
  super
• 44:22
  spreader
• 44:22
  event.
• 44:23
  If
• 44:23
  you
• 44:23
  have
• 44:24
  a
• 44:24
  situation
• 44:24
  like
• 44:24
  that,
• 44:24
  don't
• 44:25
  say
• 44:25
  this.
• 44:25
  Well,
• 44:25
  now
• 44:25
  they
• 44:26
  know
• 44:26
  the
• 44:26
  name.
• 44:27
  So
• 44:27
  even
• 44:27
  if
• 44:27
  they're
• 44:27
  not
• 44:28
  supposed
• 44:28
  to
• 44:28
  say
• 44:28
  it,
• 44:29
  they
• 44:29
  know
• 44:29
  the
• 44:29
  name.
• 44:30
  And
• 44:30
  they
• 44:30
  may
• 44:31
  know
• 44:31
  a
• 44:31
  little
• 44:31
  history
• 44:31
  about
• 44:32
  it.
• 44:32
  So
• 44:32
  does
• 44:33
  that.
• 44:33
  Is
• 44:33
  it
• 44:33
  a
• 44:33
  way
• 44:33
  of
• 44:33
  suppressing
• 44:34
  it?
• 44:34
  Would
• 44:34
  that
• 44:34
  work?
• 44:34
  Or
• 44:34
  you
• 44:35
  want
• 44:35
  to
• 44:35
  risk
• 44:35
  that?
• 44:35
  Like,
• 44:36
  who
• 44:36
  knows?
• 44:36
  Once
• 44:37
  again,
• 44:37
  they
• 44:37
  don't
• 44:37
  care.
• 44:38
  But
• 44:38
  what
• 44:39
  fans,
• 44:39
  like
• 44:40
  the
• 44:40
  little
• 44:40
  kids
• 44:41
  have
• 44:41
  the
• 44:42
  nursery
• 44:42
  rhyme.
• 44:43
  Yeah.
• 44:44
  They
• 44:44
  learn
• 44:44
  it
• 44:44
  as
• 44:44
  a
• 44:44
  nursery
• 44:45
  rhyme.
• 44:45
  Freddy's
• 44:46
  gonna
• 44:46
  get
• 44:47
  you.
• 44:48
  It's
• 44:48
  like,
• 44:48
  okay,
• 44:49
  cool.
• 44:49
  So
• 44:50
  much.
• 44:50
  Yeah.
• 44:51
  Nipping
• 44:51
  that
• 44:51
  in
• 44:51
  the
• 44:51
  bud.
• 44:53
  All
• 44:53
  right,
• 44:54
  it's
• 44:54
  time
• 44:54
  to
• 44:54
  wrap.
• 44:55
  Wrap
• 44:55
  the
• 44:55
  sucker
• 44:56
  up.
• 44:56
  Rating
• 44:56
  and
• 44:56
  Reviewing
• 44:56
  out
• 44:57
  of
• 44:57
  10.
• 44:57
  What
• 44:57
  do
• 44:57
  you
• 44:58
  think?
• 44:58
  Freddy
• 44:58
  versus
• 44:59
  Jason.
• 44:59
  Oh,
• 45:02
  for
• 45:03
  me,
• 45:03
  as
• 45:03
  a
• 45:03
  fan,
• 45:04
  I
• 45:05
  would
• 45:05
  say
• 45:05
  a
• 45:05
  solid
• 45:05
  like
• 45:06
  seven.
• 45:07
  Six.
• 45:07
  Okay.
• 45:09
  Yeah,
• 45:09
  I've
• 45:10
  watched
• 45:10
  it
• 45:10
  again,
• 45:10
  and
• 45:11
  I
• 45:11
  wouldn't
• 45:11
  feel
• 45:11
  sad
• 45:12
  about
• 45:12
  it.
• 45:12
  Yeah.
• 45:13
  I'm
• 45:13
  going
• 45:14
  five.
• 45:14
  Five.
• 45:14
  And
• 45:14
  that's
• 45:15
  not
• 45:15
  to
• 45:15
  say
• 45:15
  this
• 45:15
  is
• 45:15
  a
• 45:15
  terrible,
• 45:16
  reprehensible
• 45:16
  movie.
• 45:17
  Like,
• 45:17
  five
• 45:17
  is,
• 45:17
  like,
• 45:17
  kind
• 45:18
  of
• 45:18
  the
• 45:18
  middle
• 45:18
  of
• 45:18
  the
• 45:18
  road
• 45:18
  for
• 45:18
  me.
• 45:19
  Like,
• 45:19
  there's
• 45:19
  nothing
• 45:19
  offensive
• 45:20
  in
• 45:20
  it
• 45:20
  that
• 45:20
  I'd
• 45:21
  never
• 45:21
  consider
• 45:21
  watching
• 45:22
  it
• 45:22
  again
• 45:23
  if
• 45:23
  it.
• 45:23
  You
• 45:23
  threw
• 45:24
  it
• 45:24
  on
• 45:24
  a
• 45:24
  screen.
• 45:24
  Yeah,
• 45:25
  I'd
• 45:25
  watch
• 45:25
  the
• 45:25
  movie
• 45:26
  again,
• 45:26
  but
• 45:27
  there's
• 45:27
  a
• 45:27
  lot
• 45:27
  of
• 45:28
  potential.
• 45:28
  It
• 45:28
  has
• 45:29
  a
• 45:29
  lot
• 45:29
  of
• 45:29
  questions.
• 45:29
  It
• 45:30
  could
• 45:30
  have
• 45:30
  considered
• 45:31
  that
• 45:31
  it
• 45:31
  didn't
• 45:32
  because
• 45:32
  of
• 45:32
  rushing
• 45:33
  things
• 45:33
  and
• 45:33
  getting
• 45:33
  things
• 45:34
  done
• 45:34
  for
• 45:34
  Hollywood
• 45:35
  reasons
• 45:36
  that
• 45:36
  just
• 45:36
  don't
• 45:36
  work
• 45:36
  for
• 45:37
  me
• 45:37
  at
• 45:37
  the
• 45:37
  end
• 45:37
  I
• 45:37
  have
• 45:38
  fun
• 45:38
  with
• 45:38
  this
• 45:38
  movie.
• 45:38
  It
• 45:39
  could
• 45:39
  be
• 45:39
  better.
• 45:40
  I
• 45:40
  want
• 45:40
  better
• 45:40
  for
• 45:41
  it.
• 45:41
  I
• 45:41
  want
• 45:41
  better.
• 45:42
  I
• 45:42
  want
• 45:42
  better
• 45:43
  for
• 45:43
  my
• 45:43
  babies.
• 45:44
  Jason
• 45:44
  and
• 45:44
  Freddie.
• 45:46
  They
• 45:47
  deserve
• 45:47
  more
• 45:48
  justice
• 45:48
  for.
• 45:49
  Hashtag
• 45:49
  justice
• 45:50
  for
• 45:50
  Freddie
• 45:50
  and
• 45:50
  Jason.
• 45:54
  All
• 45:54
  right,
• 45:54
  so
• 45:54
  you've
• 45:55
  answered
• 45:55
  this
• 45:55
  question
• 45:55
  before,
• 45:56
  so
• 45:56
  we'll
• 45:57
  just
• 45:57
  open
• 45:57
  with
• 45:57
  the
• 45:57
  Wide
• 45:58
  world
• 45:58
  here.
• 45:59
  What
• 46:00
  would
• 46:00
  you
• 46:00
  design
• 46:00
  if
• 46:01
  you
• 46:01
  were
• 46:01
  in
• 46:01
  charge
• 46:02
  of
• 46:02
  making
• 46:02
  Halloween
• 46:02
  treats
• 46:03
  for
• 46:03
  the
• 46:03
  drive
• 46:03
  in?
• 46:04
  Could
• 46:04
  be
• 46:04
  related
• 46:04
  to
• 46:04
  this
• 46:05
  movie.
• 46:05
  Could
• 46:05
  be
• 46:05
  in
• 46:05
  general.
• 46:06
  What
• 46:06
  do
• 46:06
  you
• 46:06
  think,
• 46:06
  Leah?
• 46:07
  I
• 46:08
  did
• 46:08
  look
• 46:09
  at
• 46:09
  this
• 46:09
  and
• 46:09
  I
• 46:09
  thought
• 46:10
  the
• 46:10
  thing
• 46:10
  that
• 46:11
  I
• 46:11
  love
• 46:12
  most
• 46:13
  at
• 46:13
  Halloween
• 46:14
  in
• 46:14
  terms
• 46:15
  of
• 46:15
  a
• 46:15
  treat
• 46:15
  is
• 46:16
  a
• 46:16
  caramel
• 46:16
  apple.
• 46:17
  But
• 46:18
  I
• 46:18
  hate
• 46:19
  everything
• 46:19
  it
• 46:19
  does
• 46:20
  to
• 46:20
  my
• 46:20
  teeth
• 46:23
  because
• 46:23
  they
• 46:23
  are
• 46:24
  difficult
• 46:24
  in
• 46:25
  general.
• 46:26
  And
• 46:26
  they
• 46:26
  made
• 46:26
  the,
• 46:26
  like,
• 46:27
  lollipops
• 46:28
  still
• 46:28
  problematic
• 46:29
  for
• 46:30
  someone
• 46:30
  who
• 46:30
  has
• 46:31
  any
• 46:31
  kind
• 46:31
  of,
• 46:31
  like,
• 46:32
  cavity
• 46:33
  coverings.
• 46:34
  So
• 46:35
  what
• 46:35
  I
• 46:35
  would
• 46:35
  want
• 46:36
  to
• 46:36
  do
• 46:36
  is
• 46:36
  to
• 46:37
  somehow
• 46:37
  capture.
• 46:38
  And
• 46:38
  I
• 46:38
  was
• 46:38
  thinking
• 46:39
  this
• 46:39
  because
• 46:39
  my
• 46:40
  husband
• 46:40
  watches
• 46:40
  a
• 46:40
  lot
• 46:41
  of
• 46:41
  like,
• 46:41
  baking
• 46:41
  shows
• 46:42
  and
• 46:42
  know
• 46:42
  that
• 46:43
  I
• 46:43
  don't
• 46:43
  do
• 46:43
  that.
• 46:43
  But
• 46:44
  I
• 46:44
  was
• 46:44
  thinking,
• 46:45
  like,
• 46:45
  maybe
• 46:45
  do
• 46:45
  like
• 46:46
  a
• 46:46
  bag,
• 46:46
  like
• 46:46
  a
• 46:46
  popcorn
• 46:47
  bag,
• 46:47
  chop
• 46:48
  up
• 46:48
  apples
• 46:49
  and
• 46:49
  then
• 46:49
  like
• 46:50
  pour
• 46:50
  like
• 46:51
  some
• 46:51
  caramel,
• 46:51
  like
• 46:52
  sprinkles
• 46:53
  over
• 46:53
  it
• 46:53
  so
• 46:53
  it's
• 46:54
  not
• 46:54
  quite
• 46:54
  so,
• 46:55
  like
• 46:55
  intense
• 46:56
  or.
• 46:57
  Or
• 46:57
  maybe,
• 46:57
  you
• 46:58
  know,
• 46:58
  and
• 46:58
  then
• 46:59
  have
• 46:59
  yourself
• 46:59
  a
• 46:59
  little
• 46:59
  caramel
• 47:00
  apple
• 47:00
  bag.
• 47:02
  And
• 47:02
  this
• 47:02
  has
• 47:02
  probably
• 47:03
  already
• 47:04
  been
• 47:04
  done.
• 47:05
  I
• 47:05
  mean,
• 47:05
  nothing's
• 47:06
  new
• 47:06
  under
• 47:06
  the
• 47:06
  sun.
• 47:07
  Nothing
• 47:07
  new
• 47:08
  is
• 47:08
  under
• 47:08
  the
• 47:08
  sun,
• 47:08
  but
• 47:09
  that
• 47:09
  would
• 47:09
  be
• 47:09
  my
• 47:10
  drive
• 47:10
  and
• 47:11
  treat
• 47:11
  and
• 47:12
  I
• 47:12
  would
• 47:12
  just
• 47:12
  eat
• 47:12
  the
• 47:13
  heck
• 47:13
  out
• 47:13
  of
• 47:13
  that.
• 47:14
  There
• 47:14
  you
• 47:14
  go.
• 47:16
  I
• 47:16
  went
• 47:16
  more
• 47:17
  thinking
• 47:17
  of
• 47:17
  this
• 47:18
  film
• 47:18
  in
• 47:19
  particular,
• 47:19
  like
• 47:19
  if
• 47:20
  we
• 47:20
  were
• 47:20
  doing
• 47:20
  promotional
• 47:20
  items
• 47:21
  for
• 47:21
  it.
• 47:22
  I
• 47:23
  want
• 47:23
  to
• 47:23
  go
• 47:25
  either
• 47:25
  a
• 47:25
  licorice
• 47:26
  or
• 47:26
  cowtail
• 47:26
  gauntlet
• 47:27
  for
• 47:28
  Freddy.
• 47:29
  You
• 47:30
  can,
• 47:30
  you
• 47:30
  can
• 47:30
  have
• 47:30
  it,
• 47:30
  eat
• 47:31
  it
• 47:31
  off
• 47:31
  of
• 47:31
  there.
• 47:32
  And
• 47:32
  then
• 47:32
  I
• 47:33
  don't
• 47:33
  know,
• 47:33
  maybe
• 47:33
  like
• 47:33
  a
• 47:34
  chocolate
• 47:35
  machete
• 47:36
  for
• 47:36
  Jason
• 47:37
  or
• 47:37
  chocolate
• 47:38
  hockey
• 47:38
  mask.
• 47:39
  Yeah,
• 47:40
  something
• 47:40
  like
• 47:40
  that.
• 47:41
  You
• 47:41
  do
• 47:41
  like
• 47:41
  a
• 47:42
  hockey
• 47:42
  mask,
• 47:42
  like,
• 47:43
  bowl.
• 47:45
  Yeah.
• 47:46
  So
• 47:47
  we
• 47:47
  had
• 47:48
  a
• 47:48
  lot
• 47:48
  of
• 47:48
  fun
• 47:48
  with
• 47:48
  this
• 47:48
  one.
• 47:49
  We
• 47:49
  love
• 47:50
  doing
• 47:50
  our
• 47:50
  drive
• 47:50

• 47:50
  So,
• 47:51

• 47:51

• 47:52
  you
• 47:52
  for
• 47:52

  that
• 47:52
  you
• 47:53
  do.
