- 0:08Speaker 1: and how this is going.
- 0:09Speaker 2: To play out.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Is it starting to near it's in. We'll break it down.

- 0:40Speaker 2: It's cool.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Let's go over to a couple of points I want
- 0:43Speaker 1: to start with here, and this is a line list
- 0:46Speaker 1: of all the companies that hold bitcoin in their treasury.
- 0:50Speaker 1: No not I guess it's probably not all, but it's
- 0:52Speaker 1: the companies that are most noted. And these are the
- 0:55Speaker 1: top public bitcoin treasury companies. And you can see micro
- 0:57Speaker 1: Strategy right there in the top there, of course is
- 1:00Speaker 1: Mara Holdings, a minor, and then of course you've got
- 1:04Speaker 1: twenty one Riot Path Platforms Galaxy and you can kind
- 1:08Speaker 1: of see then you've got pro Cap GameStop all of
- 1:10Speaker 1: that starting to line up. And remember Papliano's group that
- 1:14Speaker 1: has just recently started to go in this point being
- 1:17Speaker 1: is there isn't anybody on here that is a household
- 1:21Speaker 1: name just yet. So the question is is why isn't
- 1:24Speaker 1: there Why aren't we seeing companies that are like the
- 1:27Speaker 1: mag seven or even major s and P five hundred
- 1:30Speaker 1: that would be going in this direction. I want to
- 1:32Speaker 1: go in and play a clip of Kathy Wood explaining that.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 1:38Speaker 3: As as an investor, I get a lot of advisors
- 1:42Speaker 3: asking what do you think about micro strategy here? You know,
- 1:45Speaker 3: is this our way, our leverage way to play bitcoin?
- 1:49Speaker 3: And it is very hard for me to say yes,
- 1:52Speaker 3: you should, because I you know, anyone who had the
- 1:55Speaker 3: experience with GBTC knows that premia can go it discounts certainly,
- 2:02Speaker 3: as more and more companies add bitcoin to their balance sheets,
- 2:07Speaker 3: microstrategies premium should go away.
- 2:11Speaker 1: That is a huge statement by Kathy Woods stating that
- 2:14Speaker 1: microstrategies premium could go away here and based on what
- 2:17Speaker 1: we've seen in the history of where bitcoin is played
- 2:20Speaker 1: in this from the ETF side, it's an interesting narrative
- 2:23Speaker 1: that I think might be picking up some steam. You
- 2:25Speaker 1: have to also look at the position of ethereum, which
- 2:29Speaker 1: is just now starting to enter that narrative, meaning ethereum
- 2:34Speaker 1: as a treasury position. One point I want to look
- 2:37Speaker 1: at is, of course, what's holding it back. Well, much
- 2:40Speaker 1: of it is being as you guys know, there's these
- 2:42Speaker 1: factions within crypto right now. It still exists out there,
- 2:46Speaker 1: and there are a lot of Bitcoin maxis that do
- 2:48Speaker 1: not necessarily win if Ethereum wins, or at least that's
- 2:52Speaker 1: their belief. Institutions, though, are the ones that are probably
- 2:56Speaker 1: going to be the ones that start to adapt into
- 2:59Speaker 1: the next generation of crypto. I believe that's probably going
- 3:01Speaker 1: to be in the ethereum camp more so than most.
- 3:05Speaker 1: One other thing I want to get at is what
- 3:07Speaker 1: are the companies that are starting to move in this direction.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Well, here's a good example.
- 3:10Speaker 1: This is a bit Digital, which was a former bitcoin
- 3:13Speaker 1: company that is doing a strategic transition to become a
- 3:16Speaker 1: pure play ethereum staking and treasury company.
- 3:19Speaker 2: This I think might be.
- 3:21Speaker 1: The very beginning of that tsunami, and as we start
- 3:24Speaker 1: to see ETH playing into this meaning as a treasury
- 3:28Speaker 1: position could get very interesting with the market. I want
- 3:32Speaker 1: to go to a clip here because this is getting
- 3:33Speaker 1: into the btcs. This is an interesting clip and I'll
- 3:37Speaker 1: explain a little bit more about this right after.
- 3:39Speaker 2: But this is a former bitcoin minor moving into eth.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Take a look money.
- 3:44Speaker 4: We actually started as a bitcoin minor, so twenty fourteen
- 3:47Speaker 4: we were the first public company of mind bitcoin. You know,
- 3:49Speaker 4: she's not a great business, right basically exeter all or
- 3:52Speaker 4: bitcoin and went full in on the theorym.
- 3:54Speaker 5: I think it was the end of twenty twenty we
- 3:56Speaker 5: started staking.
- 3:57Speaker 4: We have no liabilities, no depreciating assets with machines, and
- 4:01Speaker 4: we generate revenue from running those valuator notes. So we
- 4:06Speaker 4: don't really compete with an ETI right like an ETF,
- 4:08Speaker 4: even if they add staking revenue is not.
- 4:10Speaker 5: Doing what we're doing.
- 4:10Speaker 4: They're not block building, you know, to buy and hold
- 4:13Speaker 4: strategy if you want growth exposure within the network.
- 4:17Speaker 5: Right now, we're the only game in talent in public markets,
- 4:20Speaker 5: which I think is pretty cool. The downside of that
- 4:22Speaker 5: is nobody understands what we're doing.
- 4:25Speaker 2: All right.
- 4:25Speaker 1: So that is unfortunately the truth right now because it's
- 4:28Speaker 1: very early stage. But listen, if you guys are following markets,
- 4:32Speaker 1: you followed the trends in technology, the trends and mold,
- 4:35Speaker 1: the trends in AI, the trends and blockchain, you know
- 4:38Speaker 1: that the early days is when these great opportunities start
- 4:41Speaker 1: to rise. And I think maybe they're onto something here here,
- 4:44Speaker 1: of course, is a Nasdaq traded BTCS. They acquired one
- 4:48Speaker 1: thousand eh granted that's only two and a half million
- 4:50Speaker 1: worth that is done, even done through borrowing on ave,
- 4:54Speaker 1: but they are starting to.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Go into this.
- 4:55Speaker 1: What was interesting to me is that it was with
- 4:58Speaker 1: zero dilution to their share, and that's interesting because they're
- 5:01Speaker 1: generating that out of the value of what the network
- 5:05Speaker 1: generates obviously yield, etc. Poibing is that when we had
- 5:09Speaker 1: Charles on that was the guy that was on the
- 5:11Speaker 1: clip right there, almost four years ago, BTCS they were
- 5:15Speaker 1: in a process of kind of not necessarily seeing the future,
- 5:19Speaker 1: but they had some ideas of where treasuries would be going.
- 5:22Speaker 1: It's interesting to see them here at this phase now
- 5:26Speaker 1: further into this.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Remember last year.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Matthew Siegel hit on this this of course, coming in
- 5:31Speaker 1: from van X sounds to me like Microsoft is open
- 5:33Speaker 1: to an ether ETF as long as they can collect
- 5:36Speaker 1: staking income. So remember this is before we saw regulation
- 5:41Speaker 1: starting to unleash, before we saw the opportunity of possibly
- 5:45Speaker 1: staking being.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Available to ETFs. All of that.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Remember all that happened last December in the middle of
- 5:51Speaker 1: a bull run, and the opportunities around some of the
- 5:54Speaker 1: biggest companies in tech that could be going this direction.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Just to give you an example of that, the Ethereum
- 5:59Speaker 1: all Alliance, this was pretty much created by Microsoft. Let
- 6:03Speaker 1: me show you something, guys. You're going to see a
- 6:05Speaker 1: lot of the main stays within this. So as you
- 6:08Speaker 1: look further down, they are on the EEA board. These
- 6:12Speaker 1: are Fortune five hundreds right there, Microsoft, Consensus, Connecxus obviously
- 6:16Speaker 1: with JP Morgan point being is that they are all.
- 6:19Speaker 2: In on eight.
- 6:20Speaker 1: So if we start to see this idea of eth
- 6:24Speaker 1: on treasury, now you've got a completely different lineup of
- 6:28Speaker 1: companies that could be going in that direction. That's what
- 6:31Speaker 1: I think is why we will see potentially the end
- 6:34Speaker 1: of the narrative of where Bitcoin on a treasury may
- 6:38Speaker 1: be starting to win.
- 6:39Speaker 6: Now.
- 6:39Speaker 1: I know it's very early in that process because a
- 6:41Speaker 1: lot of people may say Bitcoin is going to be winning,
- 6:43Speaker 1: and it's because of that you kind of just follow
- 6:46Speaker 1: the crumbs. Guys, look at where the big players are going.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Here's sound Pachai's eleven year old son. He's even mining eth.
- 6:54Speaker 1: And this is kind of interesting because you look at
- 6:57Speaker 1: the next generation. Where are they going. Are they going
- 7:00Speaker 1: into web three and ethereum land or are they playing
- 7:03Speaker 1: in bitcoin world? Right now, I've got under twelves and
- 7:07Speaker 1: they're all invested in non bitcoin related projects. So be
- 7:11Speaker 1: looking at that because that, I think is really when
- 7:14Speaker 1: you get into the future of where crypto is heading.
- 7:16Speaker 1: The other thing that has to compare if anybody would
- 7:19Speaker 1: be concerned about I think, especially from bitcoin standpoint, is.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Really tether gold.
- 7:24Speaker 1: And that is because we're dealing with the same kind
- 7:27Speaker 1: of situation where we start to see gold as the
- 7:30Speaker 1: narrative going forward. And if you are winning the the
- 7:34Speaker 1: battle of let's say traditional finance, traditional finance does understand gold,
- 7:40Speaker 1: they may not necessarily understand bitcoin. And if we start
- 7:44Speaker 1: to see the movement of gold and bitcoin kind of
- 7:47Speaker 1: going in the same direction, it's very possible we could
- 7:50Speaker 1: see xaut starting to be playing a bigger role in
- 7:55Speaker 1: the future. All right, So I want to go to
- 7:57Speaker 1: a clip by Kramer and he's talking about Apple.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I'll explain a little bit more after.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Take a look, Jim, I want to talk Apple because
- 8:04Speaker 1: we didn't mention it yesterday.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Yeah, and I can see how sad you're getting.
- 8:09Speaker 5: But look at your face, the pain.
- 8:10Speaker 6: Why but the seventeen may not be selling that Well,
- 8:13Speaker 6: we've got a president I don't want to say ridicule,
- 8:16Speaker 6: but had some sport with Tim Cook, who is maybe
- 8:19Speaker 6: one of the greatest of not the greatest exective of
- 8:21Speaker 6: our time.
- 8:21Speaker 5: I didn't like that.
- 8:22Speaker 6: And he does not have an AI strategy. Talking about
- 8:25Speaker 6: Tim Cook, and I wanted him to buy Perplexity a
- 8:27Speaker 6: month ago because it's simply non participat But what they
- 8:30Speaker 6: do buy, and the significantly got me down, is they
- 8:32Speaker 6: just keep buying their own stock. And I think that
- 8:34Speaker 6: from one look at the stock that's not working. It's
- 8:38Speaker 6: not working anymore. Yeah, you know, David, it's also the
- 8:40Speaker 6: twenty eight times Ares. Is that twenty times ares twenty two?
- 8:45Speaker 2: Now?
- 8:45Speaker 6: I think Apple, you know, I think is the greatest
- 8:48Speaker 6: company on earth.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Not the Come on, really, I mean, I know you're
- 8:53Speaker 1: hyperpley knows no bounds.
- 8:54Speaker 6: But really, okay, I do think in vidiots the in
- 8:57Speaker 6: vidio is the greatest.
- 8:58Speaker 5: I've very seen.
- 8:59Speaker 6: This makes the greatest product order, Yeah, okay, And as
- 9:02Speaker 6: long as they do that, I'm going to stick with
- 9:03Speaker 6: it for my child.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Even though when I cure you talking and you talk
- 9:06Speaker 1: about a lot of challenges.
- 9:08Speaker 6: I am going to support that company.
- 9:10Speaker 5: Okay, you support it?
- 9:13Speaker 1: And when would you start to question whether they have
- 9:15Speaker 1: the greatest product in the world.
- 9:16Speaker 6: And when Samsung takes some share away from them and
- 9:19Speaker 6: I will, then I will change. But I don't believe that.
- 9:23Speaker 6: But that's when I have to change my view. Yeah,
- 9:26Speaker 6: right now, I can't change my view with.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Okay, all right, So guys, you know, I grew up
- 9:31Speaker 1: in Silicon Valley. I worked for Microsoft, and at that
- 9:34Speaker 1: time when I started to shift out of that, I
- 9:36Speaker 1: saw the writing on the wall, and that was that
- 9:38Speaker 1: Apple would take control of the market, and they did.
- 9:40Speaker 1: For seventeen years. They've pretty much dominated the tech market.
- 9:44Speaker 1: That I think, though, has come to an end, and
- 9:47Speaker 1: Kramer hasn't just face it yet. I think we are
- 9:49Speaker 1: in a state right now where market shift and market
- 9:52Speaker 1: share is starting to happen if you just look at
- 9:54Speaker 1: Samsung right now, most shipments in twenty twenty five. Now,
- 9:57Speaker 1: granted this has happened a couple of times before, but
- 10:00Speaker 1: notice right there, Samsung taking share in twenty twenty five
- 10:04Speaker 1: versus Apple.
- 10:06Speaker 2: I'm an Apple guy.
- 10:07Speaker 1: I like the ecosystem, but I have started to transition
- 10:11Speaker 1: out of Apple ecosystem over the last year because I
- 10:13Speaker 1: think the writing is on the wall. They are not
- 10:15Speaker 1: invested in AI, they are not invested in the future
- 10:18Speaker 1: of blockchain, and I think they are going to be
- 10:20Speaker 1: a company that continues the track of just being a
- 10:23Speaker 1: cash con most likely. Now everybody will argue, well, wait, Paul,
- 10:26Speaker 1: their AirPod business is outpacing that of open Ai by
- 10:30Speaker 1: three to one.
- 10:31Speaker 2: I get it.
- 10:32Speaker 1: But the point is you have to look to the future,
- 10:35Speaker 1: and I think that's where these new investors are starting
- 10:38Speaker 1: to look.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Apples in trouble. Just watch it.
- 10:41Speaker 1: So when you think about the Apple of yesterday and
- 10:46Speaker 1: dominating the app store, really dominating the use case, dominating
- 10:51Speaker 1: the Internet, creating Apple Pay, all the things that they've
- 10:53Speaker 1: done over the last almost twenty years, now you have
- 10:57Speaker 1: to look to the future, and I think that's what
- 10:59Speaker 1: you have to compare to eth is going to be
- 11:01Speaker 1: the new app store of the next generation Internet that's
- 11:04Speaker 1: going to be controlled by cryptocurrency and the way we transact.
- 11:08Speaker 2: And some of the.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Leaders out there are guys like Marcus Browne. He's been,
- 11:11Speaker 1: of course a huge Apple fan boy, and now maybe
- 11:15Speaker 1: he might actually come over to the light side. Here's
- 11:18Speaker 1: Jessic Pollack kind of hitting on it. I think you'd
- 11:20Speaker 1: be excited about how far we'd come and the new
- 11:22Speaker 1: creator economy. Key here, creator economy we are building on base.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Let me know if you're down to chat interesting statements,
- 11:29Speaker 1: because this is the future going forward.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Guys, listen.
