Speaker 1: All right, so we'll trying to get ready for school.
• 0:01
Speaker 1: It's Romeo, and we got that school drop off. We
• 0:04
Speaker 1: talked a little bit about that, and then of course
• 0:05
Speaker 1: what it cost you man, all the things that cost
• 0:08
Speaker 1: you to get ready for school starts in a few days.
• 0:12
Speaker 1: Let me get to this text message. This guy's been
• 0:14
Speaker 1: sending it to me. Hey, good morning, Romeo. I think
• 0:16
Speaker 1: I made a mistake. So I've been dating my girlfriend
• 0:19
Speaker 1: for five years. We took our relationship to the next level.
• 0:22
Speaker 1: She moved into my place from her parents. After my
• 0:25
Speaker 1: girlfriend moved in her demeanor change. She has told me
• 0:27
Speaker 1: that she's no longer cooking for me. She's no longer
• 0:30
Speaker 1: doing wifely duties until we get married. While she was
• 0:34
Speaker 1: living at her parents' house, she always cooked for me,
• 0:35
Speaker 1: always made my lunch. She would sometimes take me lunch
• 0:38
Speaker 1: at work as well. When there would be straight stains
• 0:42
Speaker 1: on my work shirts. She would even insist that I
• 0:44
Speaker 1: leave my clothes at her house so she can wash
• 0:47
Speaker 1: them properly. I also have a dog, and he is
• 0:50
Speaker 1: an inside dog, and she doesn't want him inside because
• 0:54
Speaker 1: he sheds a lot. But since she moved in, I've
• 0:56
Speaker 1: been the one cleaning the house. Cleaning the dishes, making
• 0:59
Speaker 1: the food. I thought moving in it would make my
• 1:01
Speaker 1: life easier, but it's like I'm raising a child, Romeo.
• 1:05
Speaker 1: This is the third time I mentioned it to her
• 1:07
Speaker 1: in four months. My girlfriend only works sixteen hours a
• 1:09
Speaker 1: week part time. I understand that I make more money
• 1:12
Speaker 1: than my girlfriend, but I do pay for everything, rome
• 1:14
Speaker 1: her needs, shopping, nails, hair, her car insurance. The only
• 1:18
Speaker 1: thing I don't pay for is her car pay. Besides that,
• 1:22
Speaker 1: I pay for everything. Honestly, Romeo, should I just kick
• 1:24
Speaker 1: this woman out and just move on from this relationship? Yeah?
• 1:31
Speaker 1: I mean I would have kicked her out because of
• 1:33
Speaker 1: the dog situation. Because your dog has lived there long
• 1:36
Speaker 1: before she has. She has no right to kick your
• 1:38
Speaker 1: dog outside. So yeah, I would leave the relationship just
• 1:42
Speaker 1: because of the dog, you know, because of the dog situation.
• 1:46
Speaker 1: But the idea that she did all these stereotypical wifely
• 1:51
Speaker 1: duties for you, then moves in with you and stops
• 1:55
Speaker 1: doing them until you get married. She's thrown down the
• 1:58
Speaker 1: gauntlet and giving you an ultimate that you know what,
• 2:01
Speaker 1: this is what I want, and so you need to
• 2:05
Speaker 1: put up her shut up, which is fair to do
• 2:12
Speaker 1: if you're not treating her well. See, that's the thing.
• 2:17
Speaker 1: She set a precedent in your relationship by doing all
• 2:22
Speaker 1: of these quote unquote wifely things for you. Right, you
• 2:26
Speaker 1: said it, So she said a precedent of doing these
• 2:29
Speaker 1: things for you. And now she's basically giving you an
• 2:32
Speaker 1: ultimatum if you don't marry her, she's not gonna do
• 2:35
Speaker 1: it anymore. Why didn't she give you that ultimatum while
• 2:39
Speaker 1: she still lived in her mom and dad's house. Why
• 2:41
Speaker 1: did she wait to move in with you to say this?
• 2:46
Speaker 1: Because she has more leverage, and now she's playing her cards.
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: I think that's a punk move. Now. I'm not saying
• 2:55
Speaker 1: she needs to do all the dishes. I'm not saying
• 2:57
Speaker 1: she needs to be the only one cleaning the house
• 2:59
Speaker 1: or make your lunch or cooking. You can help in
• 3:02
Speaker 1: all of those things. You guys can do it together
• 3:04
Speaker 1: or equally, right, But for her to give you an
• 3:08
Speaker 1: ultimatum like that after she got into your house, that's
• 3:13
Speaker 1: the red flag. Yeah, because then once you marry her,
• 3:17
Speaker 1: what other ultimatums is she going to give you or
• 3:20
Speaker 1: keep from you until you do this. The worst thing
• 3:23
Speaker 1: you can have in a relationship is a tit for
• 3:25
Speaker 1: tat relationship. If you don't do this, I won't do that. Okay,
• 3:30
Speaker 1: So five years is a long time though, five years
• 3:33
Speaker 1: a long time. But she stuck it out to get
• 3:36
Speaker 1: in your house. I don't know how you kick her out.
• 3:41
Speaker 1: You got to go through the eviction process now because
• 3:43
Speaker 1: she lives there. But it doesn't sound like this is
• 3:47
Speaker 1: the right person, you know, just because it's a it's not.
• 3:52
Speaker 1: She's not doing things out of the kindness of her heart.
• 3:55
Speaker 1: She's doing things because she expects something in return. That's
• 3:58
Speaker 1: at least what it sounds like to me. Let me
• 4:00
Speaker 1: get to this text message. This guy's been sending it
• 4:03
Speaker 1: to me. Hey, good morning, Romeo. I think I made
• 4:04
Speaker 1: a mistake. So I've been dating my girlfriend for five years.

• 4:59
Speaker 1: that I'm make more money than my girlfriend, but I
• 5:01
Speaker 1: do pay for everything, rome her needs, shopping, nails, hair,
• 5:05
Speaker 1: her car insurance. The only thing I don't pay for
• 5:08
Speaker 1: is her car pay. Besides that, I pay for everything. Honestly, Romeo,
• 5:12
Speaker 1: should I just kick this woman out and just move
• 5:14
Speaker 1: on from this relationship?
• 5:17
Speaker 2: What's up counts in the house?
• 5:20
  Speaker 1: What's up? Then?
• 5:22
Speaker 3: Man? I've been a little bit retired, man, but I
• 5:24
Speaker 3: got tired of bar Rescue reruns, George Judy reruns all that.
• 5:28
Speaker 3: You know what I mean.
• 5:30
Speaker 2: So, actually, I'm on my way to Bakersfield.
• 5:32
Speaker 3: I'm radio almost here.
• 5:33
Speaker 2: We're just doing a little bit of part time driving.
• 5:35
Speaker 1: Okay, what's up, vill Ain't not much?
• 5:37
Speaker 2: Yeah, they you know what that dude that that with
• 5:40
Speaker 2: that chick and all that stuff he met the whole
• 5:43
Speaker 2: program broke those The commercial was his dog and this
• 5:46
Speaker 2: guy live and complaining about dog putting the refrigerator and
• 5:51
Speaker 2: he got she kicked him out.
• 5:55
Speaker 3: You know what I'm talking about.
• 5:57
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, he said, seen that commercial off.
• 6:03
Speaker 3: But anyways, I'm in the house.
• 6:05
  Speaker 4: I talk.
• 6:08
Speaker 1: Good to hear from you man later. Yeah, let's go
• 6:11
Speaker 1: from so Cal. He's a truck driver. He used to
• 6:13
Speaker 1: come over from La all the time delivering stuff. Now
• 6:15
Speaker 1: he's retired, apparently working part time now. Hey, Romeo always
• 6:19
Speaker 1: to CALLI here. Yeah, I don't know, man, I would say,
• 6:22
Speaker 1: kick her to the curb. Imagine once they get married,
• 6:25
Speaker 1: she's probably not gonna be as catering. If they do
• 6:28
Speaker 1: get married. Make sure he's hit with uh, make sure
• 6:32
Speaker 1: he hits her with the prenup. Yeah. The president that
• 6:35
Speaker 1: she's trying to set right now is I'll give you
• 6:39
Speaker 1: this if you give me that. And yeah, you don't
• 6:43
Speaker 1: want to marry that person. You don't want to marry
• 6:45
Speaker 1: you don't want to be in that type of relationship
• 6:47
Speaker 1: already four two, five, four, seven to seven. Let me
• 6:49
Speaker 1: get to this text message. This guy's been sending it
• 6:52
Speaker 1: to me. Hey, good morning, Romeo. I think I made
• 6:53
Speaker 1: a mistake. So I've been dating my girlfriend for five years.
• 6:58
Speaker 1: We took our relationship to the next level. She moved
• 7:00
Speaker 1: into my place from her parents. After my girlfriend moved
• 7:03
Speaker 1: in her demeanor change. She has told me that she's
• 7:05
Speaker 1: no longer cooking for me. She's no longer doing wifely
• 7:08
Speaker 1: duties until we get married. While she was living at
• 7:11
Speaker 1: her parents' house, she always cooked for me, always made
• 7:13
Speaker 1: my lunch. She would sometimes take me lunch at work
• 7:15
Speaker 1: as well. When there would be stray stains on my
• 7:19
Speaker 1: work shirts. She would even insist that I leave my
• 7:22
Speaker 1: clothes at her house so she can wash them properly.
• 7:25
Speaker 1: I also have a dog, and he is an inside dog,
• 7:28
Speaker 1: and she doesn't want him inside because he sheds a lot.
• 7:32
Speaker 1: But since she moved in, I've been the one cleaning
• 7:35
Speaker 1: the house, cleaning the dishes, making the food. I thought
• 7:37
Speaker 1: moving in would make my life easier, but it's like
• 7:40
Speaker 1: I'm raising a child. Romeo. This is the third time
• 7:44
Speaker 1: I mentioned it to her in four months. My girlfriend
• 7:46
Speaker 1: only works sixteen hours a week part time. I understand
• 7:48
Speaker 1: that I make more money than my girlfriend, but I
• 7:50
Speaker 1: do pay for everything rome Her needs, shopping, nails, hair,
• 7:54
Speaker 1: her car insurance. The only thing I don't pay for
• 7:57
Speaker 1: is her car pain. Besides that, I pay for for everything. Honestly, Romeo,
• 8:01
Speaker 1: should I just kick this woman out and just move
• 8:03
Speaker 1: on from this relationship already? Four two, five, four, seven
• 8:06
Speaker 1: to seven? What do you guys think, Hey, rome he
• 8:09
Speaker 1: needs to kick that girl to the curb. Okay, okay, Oh,
• 8:13
Speaker 1: Pauline is here. Let's see what Pauline asked to say. Hey,
• 8:15
Speaker 1: good morning, Romeo. Is Pauline? Honestly, with this woman, he
• 8:19
Speaker 1: should have kicked her out when she said something about
• 8:21
Speaker 1: the dog, Romeo, tell this man she's a lost cause. Yeah,
• 8:28
Speaker 1: I would have said something about the dog. Animals are
• 8:30
Speaker 1: a big deal. By the way, that would have been
• 8:31
Speaker 1: one of the That would have been the first thing.
• 8:33
Speaker 1: You're right, Pauline about the dog. Get the dog. If
• 8:35
Speaker 1: you want my dog out, then no, my dog lives here. Hey,
• 8:40
Speaker 1: rom we had a huge argument with my Oh this
• 8:42
Speaker 1: is the guy he texted me again. Hey Ron, we
• 8:44
Speaker 1: had a huge argument with my dog and she just
• 8:47
Speaker 1: dealt with him. My dog still lives inside Rome. For me,
• 8:50
  Speaker 1: I don't mind sharing the chores, I really don't mind.
• 8:53
Speaker 1: I just don't want to come to the house with
• 8:55
Speaker 1: her laying in bed and the house a mess. Well,
• 8:59
Speaker 1: I mean there's not that is what it is. Okay,
• 9:05
Speaker 1: sometimes the house's going to be in messed. Sometimes it's not.
• 9:07
Speaker 1: Sharing the chores is fine. But when she gives you
• 9:09
Speaker 1: the ultimately it's the problem is the dog and the ultimatum.
• 9:14
Speaker 1: After she moved in, she told me that she's no
• 9:17
Speaker 1: longer cooking for me, You're no longer doing wifely duties
• 9:21
Speaker 1: until we get married. That's an ultimatum. Why didn't she
• 9:25
Speaker 1: give you that ultimatum when she lived at home? That's
• 9:27
Speaker 1: my question. Why did she wait to move in with
• 9:30
Speaker 1: you before she told you that? Why didn't she tell
• 9:33
Speaker 1: you that before she moved in with you, which means
• 9:36
Speaker 1: she was she was making a power play, And you
• 9:39
Speaker 1: don't want to be in a relationship like that. I mean,
• 9:41
Speaker 1: nobody's happy in a relationship where it's one of those
• 9:46
Speaker 1: things where you have to buy me something for you
• 9:48
Speaker 1: to get this, or you know, when people aren't doing
• 9:51
Speaker 1: stuff for each other out of the fact that they
• 9:54
Speaker 1: love each other and want to do things for each other. Instead,
• 9:57
Speaker 1: it's more of a transactional thing. You don't want to
• 10:00
Speaker 1: be in that relationship already four two, five, four or
• 10:03
Speaker 1: seven to seven. Let me get to this text message
• 10:05
Speaker 1: this guy's been sending it to me. Hey, good morning, Romeo.
• 10:08
  Speaker 1: I think I made a mistake. So I've been dating
• 10:10
Speaker 1: my girlfriend for five years. We took our relationship to
• 10:13
Speaker 1: the next level. She moved into my place from her parents.
• 10:17
Speaker 1: After my girlfriend moved in her demeanor change. She has
• 10:19
Speaker 1: told me that she's no longer cooking for me. She's
• 10:22
Speaker 1: no longer doing wifely duties until we get married. While
• 10:25
Speaker 1: she was living at her parents' house, she always cooked
• 10:27
Speaker 1: for me, always made my lunch. She would sometimes take
• 10:29
Speaker 1: me lunch at work as well. When there would be
• 10:33
Speaker 1: stray stains on my work shirts. She would even insist
• 10:36
Speaker 1: that I leave my clothes at her house so she
• 10:38
Speaker 1: can wash them properly. I also have a dog, and
• 10:41
Speaker 1: he is an inside dog, and she doesn't want him
• 10:43
Speaker 1: inside because he sheds a lot. But since she moved in,
• 10:48
Speaker 1: I've been the one cleaning the house, cleaning the dishes,
• 10:51
Speaker 1: making the food. I thought moving in would make my
• 10:53
Speaker 1: life easier. But it's like I'm raising a child, Romeo.
• 10:57
Speaker 1: This is the third time I mentioned it to her informa.
• 11:00
Speaker 1: It's my girlfriend only works sixteen hours a week part time.
• 11:02
Speaker 1: I understand that I make more money than my girlfriend,
• 11:05
Speaker 1: but I do pay for everything. Rome Her needs, shopping, nails, hair,
• 11:09
Speaker 1: her car insurance. The only thing I don't pay for
• 11:12
Speaker 1: is her car payment. Besides that, I pay for everything. Honestly, Romeo,
• 11:16
Speaker 1: should I just kick this woman out and just move
• 11:18
Speaker 1: on from this relationship already? Four two, five, four, seven
• 11:21
Speaker 1: to seven. Hey, Romeo, that guy just needs to marry
• 11:24
Speaker 1: or it's been five years. My question is not so
• 11:28
Speaker 1: much why she's made that given him that ultimatum, it's
• 11:32
Speaker 1: why hasn't he decided to marry her yet? Why did
• 11:35
Speaker 1: he let her move in before marrying her? Those are
• 11:39
Speaker 1: all things that you need to think about. And it
• 11:41
Speaker 1: does kind of sound like he just wants a maid,
• 11:44
Speaker 1: not a wife. Well, he did say he has no
• 11:49
Speaker 1: problem sharing the chores and maybe, but I mean moving
• 11:53
Speaker 1: in is the next is all people should live together
• 11:58
Speaker 1: before they get married. That way you kind of learn
• 12:00
Speaker 1: each other's idio secrecies and learn how each other wants
• 12:03
Speaker 1: to live, because that could be a major problem, you know,
• 12:06
  Speaker 1: if one's a clean person and one's a dirty person,
• 12:09
Speaker 1: or you know, the way you handle chores, the way
• 12:11
Speaker 1: you handle money, the way you handle you know, things
• 12:14
Speaker 1: like that. So I don't disagree with him moving in
• 12:16
Speaker 1: first before marrying her. Five years is a long time
• 12:21
Speaker 1: to not pop the question, though, so maybe maybe you're right.
• 12:25
Speaker 1: I just think that the dog situation of saying the
• 12:28
Speaker 1: dog was an inside dog, but now you need to
• 12:30
Speaker 1: kick the dog out is I wouldn't say that's bad.
• 12:34
Speaker 1: That's a red flag. And the fact that she gave
• 12:37
Speaker 1: you an ultimatum, I'm not doing wifely duties until I'm
• 12:41
Speaker 1: a wife, so I in turn, she did all of
• 12:44
Speaker 1: these things for him to get him, like cook and
• 12:48
Speaker 1: clean and take care of his laundry things like that,
• 12:52
Speaker 1: but once she got him, which is basically living together,
• 12:55
Speaker 1: she decided to stop it all until she gets married.
• 12:57
Speaker 1: So now she gave him a ultimatum if you want this,
• 13:00
Speaker 1: I want that. That to me is where the real
• 13:02
Speaker 1: problem is. That's a big red flag as well. Let
• 13:05
Speaker 1: me get to this text message. This guy's been sending
• 13:07
Speaker 1: it to me. Hey, good Warner, Romeo, I think I
• 13:09
Speaker 1: made a mistake. So I've been dating my girlfriend for
• 13:12
Speaker 1: five years. We took our relationship to the next level.
• 13:15
Speaker 1: She moved into my place from her parents. After my
• 13:18
Speaker 1: girlfriend moved in, her demeanor change. She has told me
• 13:20
Speaker 1: that she's no longer cooking for me. She's no longer
• 13:23
Speaker 1: doing wifely duties until we get married. While she was
• 13:26
Speaker 1: living at her parents' house, she always cooked for me,
• 13:28
Speaker 1: always made my lunch. She would sometimes take me lunch
• 13:31
Speaker 1: at work as well. When there would be stray stains
• 13:35
Speaker 1: on my work shirts. She would even insist that I
• 13:37
Speaker 1: leave my clothes at her house so she can wash
• 13:40
Speaker 1: them properly. I also have a dog, and he is
• 13:42
Speaker 1: an inside dog, and she doesn't want him inside because
• 13:47
Speaker 1: he sheds a lot. But since she moved in, I've
• 13:49
Speaker 1: been the one cleaning the house, cleaning the dishes, making
• 13:52
Speaker 1: the food. I thought moving in would make my life easier,
• 13:55
Speaker 1: but it's like I'm raising a child, Romeo. This is
• 13:58
Speaker 1: the third time I mentioned it too. Were in four months.
• 14:00
Speaker 1: My girlfriend only works sixteen hours a week part time.
• 14:03
Speaker 1: I understand that I make more money than my girlfriend,
• 14:05
Speaker 1: but I do pay for everything. Rome Her needs shopping, nails, hair,
• 14:10
Speaker 1: her car insurance. The only thing I don't pay for
• 14:12
Speaker 1: is her car pain. Besides that, I pay for everything. Honestly, Romeo,
• 14:16
Speaker 1: should I just kick this woman out and just move
• 14:19
Speaker 1: on from this relationship? Already four two five four seven
• 14:22
  Speaker 1: to seven year?
• 14:23
  Speaker 3: Rome?
• 14:23
Speaker 1: That guy needs to run? Well, maybe he does, maybe
• 14:27
Speaker 1: he does. Five years a long time to be with somebody, though,
• 14:32
Speaker 1: already four two five four seven to seven year Room.
• 14:36
Speaker 1: What's the difference from her doing stuff for him at
• 14:39
Speaker 1: her parents than at their home? That's stupid. Well, the
• 14:44
Speaker 1: difference is now she's in right, you know, like I'll
• 14:50
Speaker 1: be honest with the difference is now she's in the home.
• 14:53
Speaker 1: He can't just kick her out. She actually has to
• 14:55
Speaker 1: do a victor now if you really want to go,
• 14:57
Speaker 1: let her the law. And maybe she thought she'd have
• 15:00
Speaker 1: more power and control now that she actually got in
• 15:03
Speaker 1: the door. So there is a difference, Gomorny, How what's
• 15:07
  Speaker 1: going on?
• 15:09
  Speaker 3: Hey?
• 15:09
  Speaker 5: What's going on?
• 15:10
  Speaker 3: Ro road?
• 15:10
  Speaker 5: What I man?
• 15:12
Speaker 4: Hey, let me tell you something.
• 15:15
Speaker 2: Get my girl been together for about thirteen years and
• 15:18
  Speaker 2: we love.
• 15:18
Speaker 4: Each other and we ain't married.
• 15:19
Speaker 1: Okay, so she could get talking about.
• 15:26
Speaker 6: Well, given the ultimate points more to the point to
• 15:30
Speaker 6: where it's like, hey, like we love each other so much,
• 15:33
Speaker 6: Like why get the state.
• 15:34
Speaker 3: The state of California in bolt you know what I'm saying.
• 15:37
Speaker 1: Well, maybe, hey, that's on you guys. I don't call
• 15:40
Speaker 1: now you just called a brag. I mean it does.
• 15:50
Speaker 1: The dynamic does change once she moves in, So she did.
• 15:56
Speaker 1: To me. My perspective is she did all of these
• 15:58
Speaker 1: things for the last five years for him, which we
• 16:01
Speaker 1: which quote unquote you would call a wifely dudey, She's
• 16:03
Speaker 1: done all of these things for him while she lived
• 16:06
Speaker 1: at her parents' house. That got her in the door
• 16:09
Speaker 1: of his house. Now it's harder for him in her mind,
• 16:15
Speaker 1: I'm guessing it's harder for him to get rid of her.
• 16:19
Speaker 1: When she still lived at her parents' house, it was
• 16:21
Speaker 1: easy for him to walk away. She might be smart
• 16:24
Speaker 1: enough to know that already. Four two five, four seven
• 16:27
Speaker 1: to seven Rome. Her next step is to have a
• 16:30
Speaker 1: kid room. She has, she has a goal in mind,
• 16:33
Speaker 1: and he's got her in and he's got her on
• 16:37
Speaker 1: a probation period, especially to kick the dog out. Hell no,
• 16:40
Speaker 1: that's the fam The dog stays inside. Well, he did
• 16:43
Speaker 1: say that they've been arguing about it. The dog still
• 16:45
Speaker 1: lives inside. I'm gonna tell you right now, if I
• 16:49
Speaker 1: was you, I'd go get another dog dead have two
• 16:51
Speaker 1: inside dogs. A couple of things right now, Well I
• 16:58
Speaker 1: did rhythm of the Vow Romeo. A couple of things
• 17:01
Speaker 1: right now? What was I gonna tell you? Hey, everybody
• 17:05
Speaker 1: that won the backpacks and came out to reading and
• 17:08
Speaker 1: cinemas yesterday, thank you very much. We had a great time.
• 17:10
Speaker 1: At least I had a great time. I hope you
• 17:11
Speaker 1: guys did too as well. We give out some laptops,
• 17:14
Speaker 1: some iPads, We gave out some tablets. We gave out
• 17:16
Speaker 1: some air pods. We gave out some uh tmu AirPods
• 17:21
Speaker 1: or what are they? What are they called? Air pods?
• 17:24
Speaker 1: Is a brand name? What is the what is the
• 17:26
Speaker 1: generic name for? Uh gosh? I can't even think of
• 17:30
Speaker 1: it right now. But anyway, we give out some stuff.
• 17:33
Speaker 1: We give about a bunch of gift cards to Walmart,
• 17:35
Speaker 1: to Target, to Cohle's, to Famous Footwear. MV two we
• 17:41
Speaker 1: had some gift cards for m V two. We had
• 17:43
Speaker 1: some gift cards for the boulevard, so we actually and
• 17:47
Speaker 1: then of course the school supplies and all that stuff.
• 17:49
Speaker 1: So I hope everybody had a good time. Unfortunately, not
• 17:53
Speaker 1: everybody can win the grand prizes, but hey, you know,
• 17:56
Speaker 1: it's a look of the jaw. But yeah, I appreciate
• 17:59
Speaker 1: everybody share reading cinema, letting just come out there and
• 18:01
Speaker 1: use their theater to do it. It really was a
• 18:05
Speaker 1: It was pretty exciting. Man. There was a lot of people.
• 18:07
Speaker 1: There are a lot more. I think that might be
• 18:09
Speaker 1: the most people we've ever had show up to pick
• 18:11
Speaker 1: up their backpacks. And yeah, it was a good time,
• 18:16
Speaker 1: all right, So I guess we'll wait till next year.
• 18:18
  Speaker 3: Right.
• 18:18
Speaker 1: School starts on Wednesday. Today's Monday. We'll deal with h
• 18:21
Speaker 1: We got to talk about school today as a matter
• 18:24
Speaker 1: of fact. But I do have a question because a
• 18:25
Speaker 1: friend of mine was telling me, and I know a
• 18:27
Speaker 1: guy Julio, but I don't know so. Julio is our
• 18:31
Speaker 1: local trash collector. He does that as well as fifteen
• 18:38
Speaker 1: other businesses. He asked, but he, my buddy, was telling
• 18:41
Speaker 1: me that the trash trucks now have cameras in them
• 18:49
Speaker 1: so that they can tell when they dump your trash
• 18:52
Speaker 1: if you put the wrong thing in the wrong trash.
• 18:55
Speaker 1: Can Is that true, Julio? I hope you're listening. Is
• 18:59
Speaker 1: that true that if you put like your waist, your
• 19:03
Speaker 1: h like your grass in your just in your in
• 19:06
Speaker 1: your blue trash can, which is the recyclables, that they'll
• 19:10
  Speaker 1: they'll know. I don't know. I was just curious. Somebody
• 19:14
Speaker 1: told me that on Saturday that they want they have
• 19:18
Speaker 1: cameras now to see what they're dumping out of your
• 19:20
Speaker 1: trash cans to make sure you're not putting you're putting
• 19:23
Speaker 1: the right stuff in the right can. I don't know
• 19:25
Speaker 1: if it's true or not, but somebody, anybody know already
• 19:30
Speaker 1: fourteen five, four or seven to seven? Oh what they
• 19:32
Speaker 1: send me here? Oh the little guys? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
• 19:36
Speaker 1: this was funny. So uh, somebody just sent me a
• 19:39
Speaker 1: text message about the backpack you wade, how they had fun,
• 19:43
Speaker 1: And they sent me a picture of their two little ones,
• 19:46
Speaker 1: uh standing by the hot van over at reading cinema.
• 19:49
Speaker 1: It was hilarious because these two little kids, so they
• 19:52
Speaker 1: could be like, I don't know, they're both like two
• 19:53
Speaker 1: foot tall and they both a brother and sister. The
• 19:59
Speaker 1: little girl come up, opens a backpack. Mom let him
• 20:02
Speaker 1: come up by themselves. Logo opens a backpack, starts to
• 20:06
Speaker 1: take everything out of it. Then I think they want
• 20:09
Speaker 1: a gift card or something like that. She grabs the
• 20:11
Speaker 1: gift cards and then puts the stuff back in the backpack.
• 20:16
Speaker 1: As she's walking away, tells her little brother, grab the backpack,
• 20:20
Speaker 1: let's go. That's the funniest thing. Oh, it was so
• 20:25
Speaker 1: much fun. Yeah, it was a good time. We got
• 20:29
Speaker 1: to talk about school though, because I know I saw
• 20:32
Speaker 1: a lot of you guys had kids that had multiple
• 20:36
Speaker 1: multiple kids, you know, so that one backpack is not
• 20:39
Speaker 1: going to solve everybody's problem. I don't know what what
• 20:42
Speaker 1: school costs you so far, but we'll get into that
• 20:44
Speaker 1: a little bit later on this morning. But yeah, it
• 20:47
Speaker 1: was a good time. It was a good time. I'm
• 20:48
Speaker 1: glad everybody participated. It was really fun. Friday, I went
• 20:52
Speaker 1: to Writing Cinema to watch Spider Man in there. What
• 20:57
Speaker 1: was it the Lucks something tightened Lucks Titan Luck Theater.
• 21:00
Speaker 1: I didn't know. Somebody told me that to go watch
• 21:02
Speaker 1: Spider Man and Imax, but apparently they didn't have it
• 21:06
Speaker 1: in Imax, or they didn't make it an Imax or whatever.
• 21:08
Speaker 1: So I went to their Titan Lux and the seats
• 21:14
Speaker 1: were absolutely amazing. Now I haven't been to Reading in
• 21:20
Speaker 1: a while, actually, because I haven't been to the movies
• 21:22
Speaker 1: in a while. This is probably the first time I've
• 21:24
Speaker 1: actually gone to a theater to watch a movie, and
• 21:27
Speaker 1: well probably at least four or five years, yeah, probably
• 21:32
Speaker 1: that long. So I don't know how you don't fall
• 21:36
Speaker 1: asleep in these things. How does anybody watch a movie nowadays?
• 21:40
Speaker 1: I mean, those seats were so comfortable, was unbelievable. And
• 21:45
Speaker 1: then I've heard rumors around that all the theaters have
• 21:49
Speaker 1: comfortable seats. I don't know what theater you think has
• 21:51
Speaker 1: the most comfortable seats, because this Titan Lux theater at
• 21:56
Speaker 1: Reading Cinema. I don't know how I did not fall
• 22:00
Speaker 1: Spider Man must have been that good of a movie
• 22:02
Speaker 1: to keep me awake and not fall asleep. It was
• 22:05
Speaker 1: insane how comfortable they were. It was crazy. Hey man,
• 22:10
Speaker 1: all right? E four two, five, four, seven to seven.
• 22:14
Speaker 1: What do we got here? Rader Rob Rader Rob actually
• 22:17
Speaker 1: won a laptop, believe it or not, at the backpack,
• 22:21
Speaker 1: gave away Rome. We had a blast. My daughter's friend
• 22:25
Speaker 1: in the Red Shirt didn't have a laptop, so Raider
• 22:27
Speaker 1: Rob gave her the laptop. Did my good deed of
• 22:30
Speaker 1: the day. Plus we have four of them. Have a
• 22:33
Speaker 1: good day, buddy, that's awesome. Oh there is Raider. Rob
• 22:37
Speaker 1: took his photo with his kids and his lap day. Yeah,
• 22:39
Speaker 1: Rad to Rob, wont a laptop. That's insane.
• 22:43
  Speaker 3: Rader.
• 22:43
Speaker 1: Rob's the luckiest dude I know. By the way, I
• 22:46
Speaker 1: don't know if it's good vibes or what it is,
• 22:48
Speaker 1: but he is the luckiest dude. But talking about pet peeves,
• 22:51
Speaker 1: last week sometime and with school starting on Wednesday, a
• 22:57
Speaker 1: lady was talking about the school drop off, how annoying
• 23:01
Speaker 1: and how it drives her crazy about school drop off.
• 23:04
Speaker 1: And I got to tell you, some of the most
• 23:07
Speaker 1: the most disrespectful people on the planet are these parents
• 23:12
Speaker 1: who drop their kids off at school. There's no rules.
• 23:15
Speaker 1: They don't care about anybody else all that. They're just
• 23:18
Speaker 1: a bunch of selfish jackass that only care about themselves.
• 23:22
Speaker 1: They don't care if you got to get if you're
• 23:24
Speaker 1: doing it properly, for all the people that are actually
• 23:26
Speaker 1: doing school drop off properly, not blocking, not double parking,
• 23:31
Speaker 1: not you know, I don't get it. Get your ass
• 23:33
Speaker 1: out of the car, stop being lazy park you know
• 23:36
Speaker 1: I don't. So we're talking about that. Some lady was
• 23:39
Speaker 1: telling me how annoying it was. Well, then somebody sent
• 23:43
Speaker 1: me a TikTok or an Instagram reel or something of
• 23:48
Speaker 1: this mom telling you the rules of school drop off.
• 23:52
Speaker 1: So listen, listen what this mom said.
• 23:54
Speaker 7: And this is coming from a seasoned mom of four.
• 23:56
Speaker 7: I've been a mom for fifteen years. My oldest is
• 23:58
Speaker 7: in the tenth grade. The pickup and drop off lane
• 24:02
Speaker 7: are for the parents and the kids that move like this.
• 24:04
Speaker 7: If the backpack is in the trunk, park, if your
• 24:07
Speaker 7: kid needs help getting out of the seatbelt, park, you
• 24:10
Speaker 7: are the type of parent that needs to watch your
• 24:12
Speaker 7: kid go inside the building. Park the water bottle rolled
• 24:16
Speaker 7: under the seat park. The car should not go on
• 24:20
Speaker 7: park in the pick up lane for no reason at all.
• 24:24
Speaker 7: A matter of fact, the car should not even stop
• 24:27
Speaker 7: moving at all. Your kids should be able to open
• 24:30
Speaker 7: the door and just like kind of roll out.
• 24:33
Speaker 1: Don't hit the brake.
• 24:34
Speaker 7: The pickup lane is for the parents that are in
• 24:37
Speaker 7: and out. Got it?
• 24:40
Speaker 1: Thank you? Seven Hey rol, you were talking about the
• 24:45
Speaker 1: school drop off or the school pickup. You're absolutely right.
• 24:48
Speaker 1: These people act like it's a free for all and
• 24:50
Speaker 1: do not care about other people. Have you noticed, though,
• 24:54
  Speaker 1: I think it's just a bunch of Okay, I think
• 25:00
Speaker 1: it's well, what do you I don't want to say
• 25:04
Speaker 1: it the way he said. Bigger lazy moms is what
• 25:07
  Speaker 1: he said. Okay, I don't may You're right, there's a
• 25:14
Speaker 1: lot of bigger lazy moms that don't want to you know.
• 25:17
Speaker 1: But I've also seen some entitled, some entitled you know,
• 25:22
Speaker 1: entitled moms doing it as well. Not normally the dads,
• 25:25
Speaker 1: you know, the amazing thing about it, not normally men. Normally,
• 25:30
Speaker 1: the dads have much more respect for everybody than the
• 25:34
Speaker 1: as you put it, bigger moms or entitled moms. I'll say,
• 25:37
Speaker 1: because you see that a lot. Also, I don't know
• 25:40
Speaker 1: if they're lazy as well, but yeah, it's not. It's yeah,
• 25:45
Speaker 1: not normally the dad's. Dads usually have a lot of
• 25:47
Speaker 1: respect for what's going on around around the schools. Not
• 25:50
Speaker 1: so much the moms. Okay, it's not a four point
• 25:56
Speaker 1: one as you moms and dads. No. One of the
• 25:58
Speaker 1: most biggest pain in the ass of the world is
• 26:02
Speaker 1: dropping your kid off for school or picking your kid
• 26:03
  Speaker 1: off from school.
• 26:04
  Speaker 3: Right.
• 26:04
Speaker 1: Nobody cares, nobody pays attention, nobody gives the damn about
• 26:08
Speaker 1: following proper rules. And it's just man, there's a lot
• 26:12
Speaker 1: of jackasses out there. Good morning. Now what's going on?
• 26:15
Speaker 3: Row meo? Stealing time? Road?
• 26:18
  Speaker 8: Hello?
• 26:18
  Speaker 1: Hello?
• 26:20
  Speaker 3: Give me?
• 26:20
  Speaker 5: What's up?
• 26:21
  Speaker 3: Is that?
• 26:21
  Speaker 2: Man?
• 26:22
  Speaker 4: Roll?
• 26:22
  Speaker 3: What's up? Bro?
• 26:23
  Speaker 1: Whatever?
• 26:24
  Speaker 5: What's going on?
• 26:25
Speaker 3: Man? My pickup lane? Story? Man?
• 26:27
Speaker 5: Okay, check me out.
• 26:29
  Speaker 3: Man, I thought I was because I was in a
• 26:31
Speaker 3: big truck. Okay, I blocked the lane. This little bitty
• 26:36
Speaker 3: lady in the bobo came and rain it to me. Bro. No,
• 26:42
Speaker 3: she she, she gave it to me.
• 26:44
Speaker 6: She gave me the she gave me the business being
• 26:48
Speaker 6: in the parking lane and what I should do.
• 26:51
Speaker 3: Just because you got a big truck don't mean that
• 26:54
Speaker 3: you could take over the whole stage. And oh my good.
• 26:57
Speaker 6: Hey bro, hey, you're talking about him out your head
• 27:01
Speaker 6: down when you know how the dog bound.
• 27:03
Speaker 3: When you know he's wrong. Oh yeah, yeah.
• 27:05
Speaker 6: I couldn't do nothing but just pull out. Thank you, ma'am.
• 27:09
Speaker 6: I'm sorry, hey, be leave it after that. I got
• 27:15
Speaker 6: it right every time.
• 27:16
Speaker 1: All right, good, I got it.
• 27:18
  Speaker 3: Right every time.
• 27:18
Speaker 6: Like you said, don't even put it in kids, make
• 27:21
Speaker 6: sure you got your backpack everything, get out the car.
• 27:24
Speaker 3: Sorry, this little lady in the bonmo coming here, she
• 27:27
  Speaker 3: might kid me.
• 27:28
Speaker 1: Oh, that's awesome, thanks you going. I'm telling you, man,
• 27:33
Speaker 1: the school drop off is no joke. I mean those
• 27:35
Speaker 1: people are rude. Those people are Yeah. I got a
• 27:41
Speaker 1: funny school drop off story. It's happened a couple of
• 27:43
Speaker 1: years ago when one of my friends asked me to
• 27:45
Speaker 1: go pick up their kid. And yeah, i'll tell you
• 27:48
Speaker 1: in a minute, the school drop off right last, I'll
• 27:51
Speaker 1: tell you what happened. To mean, this is when I
• 27:54
Speaker 1: realized these people are a bunch of jackasses that don't
• 27:56
Speaker 1: care about other people when they're in these drop off
• 27:59
Speaker 1: lines or picking up their kids. I was last year
• 28:03
Speaker 1: some time friend of mine goes, hey, can you go
• 28:04
Speaker 1: grab my kid? And we're like for work, not gonna
• 28:06
Speaker 1: be home. I said, sure, you know, and I'm not
• 28:09
Speaker 1: doing anything. So I go to pick them up and
• 28:14
Speaker 1: I pull into the parking lot. It's two lanes where
• 28:17
Speaker 1: I'm pulling in right some woman who is coming head
• 28:21
Speaker 1: on my way because she's trying to I don't know
• 28:25
Speaker 1: what she's trying to do, just coming straight on head on.
• 28:30
Speaker 1: So she got out of whatever line to come and
• 28:33
Speaker 1: I just so I stopped and she had the audacity
• 28:38
Speaker 1: to try and yell at me for not moving. You're
• 28:43
Speaker 1: in the wrong lane, going the wrong way, and you
• 28:47
Speaker 1: have the audacity to try to tell So I just
• 28:49
Speaker 1: sat there until she backed up. I mean, she had
• 28:55
Speaker 1: no other option. I wasn't gonna move. I was doing
• 28:57
Speaker 1: everything right. Yeah, So she ended up backing up. I
• 29:02
Speaker 1: think she ended up scraping her car though, because she
• 29:04
Speaker 1: didn't know how to back up very well. So she
• 29:05
Speaker 1: scraped her car against the uh the it was kind
• 29:09
Speaker 1: of a what was there was kind of a pole
• 29:13
Speaker 1: area she had to back it was a turn, so
• 29:15
Speaker 1: she had to back around a turn and she ended
• 29:17
Speaker 1: up scraping her car. That was kind of funny. Good morning, Now,
• 29:20
  Speaker 1: what's going on?
• 29:20
Speaker 4: You know, Romeo? Not in these women's defense, but I
• 29:24
Speaker 4: think it takes them longer to wake up in the morning.
• 29:28
Speaker 1: Okay, so what does that mean? Well, I'm not sure
• 29:31
Speaker 1: what you're talking about.
• 29:32
Speaker 4: I think we were grumpy us man. We wake up
• 29:36
Speaker 4: and we're ready to go. Women take a little bit longer.
• 29:38
Speaker 4: They got to get the hair there and makeup done.
• 29:40
Speaker 4: So you'll see these women commonly out there dropping their
• 29:45
Speaker 4: kids off and their moon moves.
• 29:46
Speaker 1: So what does that have to do with them being
• 29:49
Speaker 1: lazy and blocking traffic and not parking and not caring
• 29:53
Speaker 1: about somebody else who's actually following the rules and doing
• 29:56
Speaker 1: what is what is supposed to be the right way.
• 29:59
  Speaker 3: To do it.
• 30:00
  Speaker 4: It doesn't, it doesn't. I'm just saying that's going to
• 30:02
Speaker 4: be their excuse why they're running later, why they're inconsiderate,
• 30:06
Speaker 4: and why they're taking up two lanes ships so you
• 30:09
Speaker 4: know their kids can get Oh no.
• 30:11
  Speaker 1: I think they're just they're just lazy. I think they're
• 30:13
Speaker 1: just lazy people, lazy selfish people. There's no other that's
• 30:16
Speaker 1: not because they woke up later or whatever. They're just lazy,
• 30:18
  Speaker 1: selfish people.
• 30:20
Speaker 4: That's one thing I do hate, though, is dropping off
• 30:22
Speaker 4: my daughter at school because it is a jungle.
• 30:26
Speaker 1: Right already parts you pop for or seven to seven,
• 30:30
Speaker 1: that's just uh yeah, the school. It is probably one
• 30:34
Speaker 1: of the worst things you'll have to do, is a
• 30:37
Speaker 1: school drop off or pickup. It's just awful. Already ports
• 30:40
Speaker 1: you pop for seven to seven. Hey, Romeo, I just
• 30:44
Speaker 1: wanted to let you know I walk my kids to
• 30:46
Speaker 1: school every day and walk to pick them up because
• 30:50
Speaker 1: we live. We live close enough so I don't have
• 30:53
Speaker 1: to deal with all that nonsense with the school drop off.
• 30:55
Speaker 1: But I will tell you I have seen some things
• 30:58
Speaker 1: that just amaze me how inconsiderate people can be inconsiderate.
• 31:05
Speaker 1: Like all women, right, it's all women are the ones
• 31:07
Speaker 1: that are inconsiderate. Everything I've ever seen from a school
• 31:10
Speaker 1: drop off, the guys are always the considerate ones. They
• 31:13
Speaker 1: look out, they don't they're not jackasses for some reason.
• 31:17
Speaker 1: Dads are usually ones that are pretty pretty understanding about
• 31:21
Speaker 1: everything and know how to follow the rules. I guess.
• 31:26
  Speaker 3: Oh.
• 31:26
Speaker 1: But anyway, she says, so I've seen some things. Rom
• 31:29
Speaker 1: I'm surprised that you don't see more videos online on
• 31:34
Speaker 1: social media people complaining about what happened in the school
• 31:37
  Speaker 1: drop offs. Yeah, I don't. Uh, well I don't. I
• 31:40
Speaker 1: don't really look at that many videos online, but I mean, uh,
• 31:45
Speaker 1: there's a lot of nons. I'm surprised there's not more fights,
• 31:48
Speaker 1: to be honest with you, Maybe if you're too lazy
• 31:50
Speaker 1: to follow the rules and let your and at school
• 31:54
Speaker 1: drop off, you're too lazy to get out and fight.
• 31:55
  Speaker 1: I guess, I don't know. It's just it's absolutely absurd.
• 31:58
Speaker 1: I mean, it really is. All any of you that
• 32:00
Speaker 1: lived by a school. My parents lived by a school,
• 32:03
Speaker 1: and it's absolutely absurd the way that these parents act
• 32:07
Speaker 1: when they drop pick their kids up and drop them off.
• 32:09
  Speaker 3: It is on.
• 32:10
  Speaker 1: It's just I can't believe the cops aren't there giving
• 32:13
Speaker 1: more tickets. To be honest with you, well you sent
• 32:16
Speaker 1: me here, Romeo, good morning. Did Seawk Lou really show
• 32:19
Speaker 1: up late to the backpack giveaway? Yeah, sea Hawk Lou
• 32:24
Speaker 1: showed up. Well, we were we were actually packing up,
• 32:27
Speaker 1: we were done, we were packing up, getting ready to go,
• 32:30
Speaker 1: and Seahawk Lou shows up. Yeah, he was late for that,
• 32:35
Speaker 1: all right? Eighty four two five four seven seven. What
• 32:38
Speaker 1: do you expect from Seahawk cleu though, Hey, good morning, Romeo.
• 32:42
Speaker 1: Let me ask you about this. So my son, he's
• 32:46
Speaker 1: starting in high school this year. He's gonna be a freshman.
• 32:49
Speaker 1: He told me that he wants me to drop him
• 32:52
Speaker 1: off at least a block away so he can walk
• 32:56
Speaker 1: to school from there. I asked him if he's in
• 32:59
Speaker 1: very to me. He said no, he just doesn't think
• 33:02
Speaker 1: it's cool to get dropped off by your mom the
• 33:04
Speaker 1: first day of school. He's a freshman. Nothing he does
• 33:13
Speaker 1: is gonna be cool. What that's he might be a
• 33:17
Speaker 1: little delusional about going into high school, right if he
• 33:20
Speaker 1: thinks about I mean, yeah, what does he think's gonna happen.
• 33:25
Speaker 1: He's gonna walk on campus as a freshman and everybody's
• 33:28
Speaker 1: just gonna talk about how cool he is, and everybody's
• 33:30
Speaker 1: gonna want to be his for now. No, what is
• 33:32
Speaker 1: wrong with that kid? No, we'll do it. But instead
• 33:36
Speaker 1: of dropping him off a block him a block away,
• 33:38
Speaker 1: drop him off six blocks away. Make his ass really
• 33:40
Speaker 1: walk to school. You know, I know that's just funny.
• 33:44
Speaker 1: I don't know. Kids are so stupid. Sometimes their logic
• 33:47
Speaker 1: is just so such nonsense. I don't understand what he
• 33:51
Speaker 1: thinks is gonna have why he thinks as a freshman
• 33:55
Speaker 1: getting dropped off at school by his mom is embarrassing.
• 34:00
Speaker 1: I heard you earlier say that you and saw The
• 34:02
Speaker 1: New Spider Man. Was it good?
• 34:05
  Speaker 3: Yeah?
• 34:05
Speaker 1: The New Spider Man was good. It was a little long,
• 34:09
Speaker 1: but I mean, yeah, Spider Man was good. You know
• 34:12
Speaker 1: what was funny about the New Spider Man and is
• 34:14
Speaker 1: I thought, and it kind of made me mad. I
• 34:19
Speaker 1: thought that he that Ned and MJ were gonna remember
• 34:23
Speaker 1: him in this movie, and I thought, Okay, it's all
• 34:25
Speaker 1: gonna work out. I thought the mind Control Girl's gonna
• 34:29
Speaker 1: put all the memories back into MJ and Ned and
• 34:31
Speaker 1: everything's gonna be great, and it wasn't. I was kind
• 34:35
Speaker 1: of that kind of ruined the movie for me. A
• 34:37
Speaker 1: great movie, don't get me wrong, Spider. It was a
• 34:39
Speaker 1: great movie, but the ending, just them not getting their
• 34:42
Speaker 1: memories back and ruined it for me. So now I'm
• 34:45
Speaker 1: mad at the movie. But go see it. It's a
• 34:48
Speaker 1: great movie. It really is. But I don't know these endings.
• 34:52
  Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know. I guess I wanted
• 34:55
  Speaker 1: a happy ending. I didn't get one, or maybe I
• 34:57
Speaker 1: didn't get what I expected, So that kind of threw
• 34:59
Speaker 1: me off. But yeah, but no, it's still a good movie.
• 35:02
Speaker 1: Go check it out, all right, Broan. The backpack giveaway
• 35:05
Speaker 1: was amazing. Hey, but it was so hungover. I'm the
• 35:08
Speaker 1: one that brought my son. He was on, Oh, the
• 35:11
Speaker 1: one with the Dodger gear. Yeah, I even told you
• 35:16
Speaker 1: I needed to meet you. I was looking for one
• 35:18
Speaker 1: so bad. Yeah, this guy was funny because reading cinemas
• 35:22
Speaker 1: actually stepped up their game. You know, remember when what
• 35:26
Speaker 1: you mcacall it came into Town Studio movie grill and
• 35:30
Speaker 1: everybody was all hyped about it. So a lot of
• 35:32
Speaker 1: these other movie theaters kind of stepped up their game
• 35:35
Speaker 1: with their seating, with their food, with their drink. Now
• 35:39
Speaker 1: having drinks and raining. Cinema is just one of those theaters.
• 35:43
Speaker 1: It stepped up their game. But this guy was funny.
• 35:46
Speaker 1: He had his kid as funny as kid was all decked.
• 35:50
Speaker 1: This kid couldn't have been more than I don't know,
• 35:52
Speaker 1: two feet tall, and his kid was decked out and
• 35:54
Speaker 1: Dodger you know, Dodger hat, Dodger shirt, and the kid,
• 35:58
Speaker 1: little boy told me he didn't even like the Dodge.
• 36:00
Speaker 1: His dad's pushing the Dodgers on him, which I thought
• 36:06
Speaker 1: was funny. Yeah, that kind of sucks that they didn't
• 36:08
Speaker 1: have They don't have Michillada's at studio movie girl, I mean,
• 36:11
Speaker 1: at writing cinemas. But hey, no, it is what it is.
• 36:14
Speaker 1: What are you gonna do? Man? You can't get at
• 36:16
Speaker 1: meeta everywhere. But I'm glad you guys came out. You guys,
• 36:19
Speaker 1: we had a good time. I'm glad everybody. I'm glad
• 36:21
Speaker 1: the people that are texting me had fun. Hey, good
• 36:23
Speaker 1: one to roam. This is Seahawk Lou. I don't know why.
• 36:26
Speaker 1: I don't know who inquired about being late to the
• 36:29
Speaker 1: backpack giveaway, but I'm glad I was late because I
• 36:32
Speaker 1: met some awesome Seahawks fans from Baker's shout out to
• 36:35
Speaker 1: my boy and his girl. I believe his name was
• 36:37
Speaker 1: Hey Sush. Yeah, Hey is Hey Susan and his girl
• 36:41
Speaker 1: are actually really cool. I can't believe you don't know them.
• 36:43
Speaker 1: They're like the only other Seahawks fans in Kern County
• 36:46
Speaker 1: other than you Seahawk. They really Yeah, he does, Tony.
• 36:50
  Speaker 1: He's a total He's a tow truck driver. Actually, yeah,
• 36:53
Speaker 1: him and his wife are fun. Man. They ever get
• 36:55
Speaker 1: to hang out with him. Him and his wife are
• 36:57
Speaker 1: an absolute blast to hang out with. All righty four
• 37:00
Speaker 1: two five four. I still don't know the name of
• 37:02
Speaker 1: his Toto company though, forty three? Right now? What did
• 37:06
Speaker 1: you text me here? Yo? Rome? What was that the
• 37:09
Speaker 1: backpack giveaway? Did you guys play the New Raider song?
• 37:12
Speaker 1: I heard you talk about it. No, I did not
• 37:14
Speaker 1: play the New Raider song yet. It's actually sitting on
• 37:18
Speaker 1: a hard drive at home. I don't have it here
• 37:21
Speaker 1: with me. Well, wait, the season will start here pretty soon.
• 37:24
Speaker 1: And then we'll we'll deal with all that nonsense. People
• 37:27
Speaker 1: keep asking me every day though, room you're ready for football?
• 37:30
Speaker 1: You're ready? No, I'm not ready for football. I just
• 37:33
Speaker 1: I don't care right now already four two, five, four,
• 37:36
Speaker 1: seven to seven. Hey, good morning, Rome, it's gil Rod
• 37:40
Speaker 1: here streaming from Santa Cruz. I thought you would appreciate
• 37:44
Speaker 1: my friend's car. It was a huge Chiefs fan. Rip
• 37:48
Speaker 1: big John span Howard span Eward. Oh is that a Chiefs? Oh?
• 37:54
  Speaker 8: The red.
• 37:55
Speaker 1: That's a beautiful car. That is a beautiful car. What
• 38:01
Speaker 1: kind of car is it though? Is it a Let
• 38:03
Speaker 1: me see if I can tell. It's got to be
• 38:06
Speaker 1: a Chevy, right, What year is it? It's a beautiful car. Yeah. Well,
• 38:13
Speaker 1: gil Rod's living the life that Julio used to live.
• 38:16
Speaker 1: Send me photos of every place they're at, hanging out,
• 38:18
Speaker 1: having a great time. He's in Santa Cruz. Ah, it's
• 38:23
Speaker 1: probably pretty cool there, right, not going to be one
• 38:25
Speaker 1: hundred and ten or one hundred and nine whatever it
• 38:27
Speaker 1: is going to be to day in he're in Bakersbilt.
• 38:29
Speaker 1: So so let's talk a little bit about school. We
• 38:32
Speaker 1: were having some conversations. Obviously, we did Rodriguez Associates Reading Cinemas.
• 38:36
Speaker 1: We gave away the backpacks on Sunday yesterday. So let's
• 38:40
Speaker 1: talk about school though. Let's talk about are you ready
• 38:43
Speaker 1: for school? Because we're having a conversation with a couple
• 38:45
Speaker 1: of people talking about you know what it cost you
• 38:48
Speaker 1: to get your kids ready for school nowadays? Now we
• 38:51
Speaker 1: did the we did haircuts over on Wednesday, we did
• 38:56
Speaker 1: haircuts at Get Faded Barbering Beauty College. Save you guys
• 38:59
Speaker 1: some cash on that. I tried to save you some
• 39:03
Speaker 1: money with backpacks and school supplies, but some of you
• 39:07
Speaker 1: got multiple kids, so you got school clothes still, which
• 39:10
Speaker 1: we'll talk about tomorrow. I don't know our school supply
• 39:13
Speaker 1: is expensive. Backpacks seem to be what minimum thirty bucks.
• 39:19
Speaker 1: I'm gonna say that's if you just get the cheapest
• 39:21
Speaker 1: backpack out there, it's probably what thirty bucks I mean.
• 39:25
Speaker 1: And then I don't know how much school supplies cost,
• 39:27
Speaker 1: to be perfectly honest with you. And then you got
• 39:30
Speaker 1: school clothes, you got haircuts, you got shoes, which you
• 39:35
Speaker 1: know that no shoes are expensive too. I was just
• 39:38
Speaker 1: curious how much did you guys spend so far for
• 39:42
Speaker 1: your children, for your child and or children going back
• 39:47
  Speaker 1: to school. I mean, I don't recall needing a lot
• 39:53
Speaker 1: of school supplies when I was in school because I
• 39:55
Speaker 1: lived under reservation, and the reservation kind of school, theres
• 40:01
Speaker 1: kind of gave us almost everything. So I think I
• 40:03
  Speaker 1: needed a notebook. I didn't need a backpack. I don't
• 40:06
Speaker 1: know why I never got it. I needed a lunch
• 40:08
Speaker 1: box and a backpack, and that was about it. And
• 40:10
Speaker 1: then of course school clothes. But my school's my school
• 40:15
Speaker 1: clothes were a pair of pants and five shirts, so
• 40:17
Speaker 1: it wasn't really anything, you know, anting too much. So yeah,
• 40:22
Speaker 1: just curious, what was how much you think you spent
• 40:26
Speaker 1: for your kids to go back to school?
• 40:28
  Speaker 2: Roam?
• 40:28
Speaker 1: This is the current temperature in the car? Isn't a pala?
• 40:31
Speaker 1: I believe it's sixty seven? Oh in Santa Cruz. Gil
• 40:34
Speaker 1: Rod's telling me it's only sixty only sixty three in
• 40:39
Speaker 1: Santa Cruz right now. It's a beautiful car in beautiful weather.
• 40:43
Speaker 1: What are you going to say how much you think
• 40:45
Speaker 1: you spent on your kid slash kids, you know, to
• 40:49
Speaker 1: go back to school. School starts in a couple of days.
• 40:52
Speaker 1: You guys gotta go get your kids backpacks. You gotta
• 40:54
Speaker 1: get your kids. I don't know, do school still have walkers?
• 40:58
Speaker 1: You got to get your kids backpacks, haircut, clothes, school supplies.
• 41:02
Speaker 1: I mean, I'm surprised school I'm making you pay for
• 41:04
Speaker 1: books at this point. But hey, how much it costume?
• 41:09
Speaker 1: Alrighty four or seven seven? Good morning Romeo. So far
• 41:13
Speaker 1: I spent around eight hundred dollars for three kids. Eight
• 41:19
Speaker 1: hundred dollars for three kids, So that's what about two
• 41:22
Speaker 1: fifty a kid? Am I wrong about that? A little
• 41:25
Speaker 1: over two seventy five a kid?
• 41:28
  Speaker 3: Dah?
• 41:30
Speaker 1: That would actually be pretty good, right for school supplies, clothes, backpack, haircut,
• 41:39
Speaker 1: all the things you do? Are you said? So far?
• 41:42
Speaker 1: You're not done? You must not be done. Eight hundred
• 41:45
Speaker 1: dollars for three kids might be good. I have a
• 41:49
Speaker 1: I have a friend who's uh already spent twelve hundred
• 41:55
Speaker 1: just on school clothes for his daughter going back to school.
• 42:00
Speaker 1: I don't even know what on school supplies. So we're
• 42:03
Speaker 1: talking about school supplies, school clothes. What's the cost you
• 42:07
Speaker 1: nowadays to get your kid ready for school? Somebody said
• 42:12
Speaker 1: eight hundred for three kids, and that's two high schoolers
• 42:17
Speaker 1: and one elementary school boy. That seems like that doesn't
• 42:21
Speaker 1: seem like a lot, especially if you got high schoolers, right,
• 42:24
Speaker 1: I don't know, maybe you know, maybe it doesn't. Maybe
• 42:27
Speaker 1: it's not the same, Like, what do you got to
• 42:29
Speaker 1: buy them some pajama bottoms and some crocs? I mean
• 42:32
Speaker 1: when I went to school, kids actually dressed nice. When
• 42:35
Speaker 1: I was in school, kids, you know, they wanted to
• 42:39
Speaker 1: do They wanted to look good, especially the first day
• 42:42
  Speaker 1: of school.
• 42:42
  Speaker 3: Right.
• 42:43
Speaker 1: They weren't just wearing pajama bottoms and some crocks to
• 42:46
Speaker 1: look stupid. We wanted to look good when we went
• 42:48
Speaker 1: the first day of school. I don't know, maybe that's
• 42:50
Speaker 1: maybe so maybe it doesn't cost as much to get
• 42:53
Speaker 1: your kids ready for school. Hey, good morning, Rome. This
• 42:57
Speaker 1: is the first year in twenty years. I only had
• 42:59
Speaker 1: to prepare one kid for school. Very excited about that.
• 43:03
Speaker 1: But he's so so far easiest. I spent sixty five
• 43:07
Speaker 1: dollars on pants Great Sales. He got five pants, and
• 43:11
Speaker 1: wanted a solid black and white tea. Oh, solid black
• 43:14
Speaker 1: and white teas. And I wanted to buy him a
• 43:17
Speaker 1: new underclothes. His dad got his backpack, and he's getting
• 43:20
Speaker 1: his hair cut today. So in total, we spent about
• 43:23
Speaker 1: two hundred and fifty dollars super easy. Gosh's two hundred
• 43:28
Speaker 1: and fifty dollars seems light. But then again, you're right
• 43:32
Speaker 1: if you're just going basic, I guess. I mean, these
• 43:36
Speaker 1: kids look sloppy and nasty. They don't look they don't
• 43:38
Speaker 1: look clean and ready, you know, like we used we
• 43:41
Speaker 1: used to look clean walking out the front door. Right,
• 43:44
Speaker 1: these kids today don't care how sloppy and janky they look.
• 43:49
Speaker 1: But yeah, okay, two fifty seems so light. Oh hey,
• 43:53
Speaker 1: I wonder Rome, Hey, thanks for the backpack giveaway yesterday
• 43:56
Speaker 1: to help My daughter won a Walmart gift card, but
• 43:59
Speaker 1: I spent it on my kids kids going back to
• 44:01
Speaker 1: school is easy, almost five hundred, and my son still
• 44:04
Speaker 1: needs a couple more pairs of pants. Five hundred on
• 44:07
Speaker 1: two kids. Well, that seems light to me. That just
• 44:11
  Speaker 1: I don't know why I don't. I guess I don't
• 44:14
Speaker 1: know for everything everything, Hey, good morning.
• 44:21
  Speaker 3: You know.
• 44:21
Speaker 1: I will say this though, as it pertains to school
• 44:27
Speaker 1: close shopping, just this particular school close shopping. There's so
• 44:31
Speaker 1: many more options nowadays, more fashionable options, which we will
• 44:35
Speaker 1: talk about tomorrow. But I think kids have so many
• 44:38
Speaker 1: more fashionable options when you go school clothes shopping today
• 44:42
Speaker 1: than you did back with my day, because back in
• 44:44
Speaker 1: my day I had to buy a lot of my
• 44:46
Speaker 1: clothes at Kmart because we were poor, and there was
• 44:50
Speaker 1: a couple of poor stores in Eureka outside the Reserme.
• 44:53
Speaker 1: That was the closest town I had outside the Reds.
• 44:56
Speaker 1: And we uh so, yeah, I get it. But we
• 45:01
Speaker 1: knew we're poor. We knew we looked for you know,
• 45:03
Speaker 1: it wasn't like everybody knew our our clothes came from
• 45:05
Speaker 1: Kmart if we were you know, so yeah, so I
• 45:09
  Speaker 1: get it. I guess, I guess. I just don't know
• 45:13
Speaker 1: already fourteen four seven to seven, bro, I got something good.
• 45:17
Speaker 1: I got some something good close at Ross or Burlington.
• 45:22
Speaker 1: You can know you can find some stuff at Ross
• 45:24
Speaker 1: though every once in a while if you look. I
• 45:26
  Speaker 1: don't know about Burlington. I don't think I've been there.
• 45:29
  Speaker 3: We're not.
• 45:29
  Speaker 1: It's going on.
• 45:31
Speaker 4: I spent about maybe it's out six hundred on my
• 45:34
Speaker 4: junior high student going back.
• 45:35
Speaker 1: To school, and that's everything, pretty.
• 45:40
Speaker 4: Much everything yere. She got all her The most was
• 45:43
Speaker 4: her shoes and clothes was about four hundred.
• 45:46
Speaker 1: And that just seems so light to me. But okay,
• 45:49
  Speaker 1: it is.
• 45:50
  Speaker 7: It is.
• 45:50
Speaker 4: But on the right hand, I saved about eighteen hundred's
• 45:55
Speaker 4: going back to school. Ow pg E all the fu
• 46:02
Speaker 4: So it's a weird for me. Now I can go
• 46:04
Speaker 4: home through a fire house. Oh man, I'm loving it.
• 46:07
  Speaker 1: That's funny. I don't mind, right, Gosh, that just doesn't
• 46:12
Speaker 1: seem like a lot, does it. I mean, I don't know.
• 46:15
Speaker 1: I guess, Like I said, though, you have a lot
• 46:18
Speaker 1: more options. You got Coal's, you got a Target, you
• 46:22
Speaker 1: got Walmart, who all sell a fashionable cloth, fashionable clothes
• 46:26
Speaker 1: that kids can wear without being made fun of. So yeah,
• 46:30
Speaker 1: I guess I get it. We're talking about the expense
• 46:33
Speaker 1: your kids going back to school? What does it cost you?
• 46:37
Speaker 1: It just doesn't sound like a lot. I guess with
• 46:39
Speaker 1: what you're telling me here, Good morning, How what's going on?
• 46:43
  Speaker 3: Hi?
• 46:43
Speaker 4: I'm calling about how much we spend on our kids?
• 46:45
  Speaker 1: Yeah?
• 46:46
Speaker 3: What do you got?
• 46:46
  Speaker 1: How many kids?
• 46:46
  Speaker 3: You got?
• 46:47
Speaker 6: I have five kids, okay, the different grade levels, of course,
• 46:54
Speaker 6: and I've spent about.
• 46:56
Speaker 1: Fifteen Who did you spend the most on my oldest.
• 47:00
Speaker 4: My thirteen year old? She is all about jan sport
• 47:04
Speaker 4: named brand right now.
• 47:05
Speaker 5: So I'm spending a little bit long on her right.
• 47:08
Speaker 4: Now, My boys are good. They don't care where their
• 47:11
Speaker 4: clothes come from as long as their cousins. They care
• 47:16
Speaker 4: about their jam sport back.
• 47:18
Speaker 1: Those things are expensive too. Gosh, well, I'm glad that
• 47:23
Speaker 1: at least your daughter cares about how she looks when
• 47:25
Speaker 1: she goes out in public. Right, that's good.
• 47:29
  Speaker 3: They don't care.
• 47:30
Speaker 4: Now that something decent.
• 47:35
  Speaker 1: Now, that's hilarious, that's awesome. That's still. That's still a
• 47:38
Speaker 1: good chuck of change though now.
• 47:41
Speaker 6: But I mean, you know, it's not that much because
• 47:44
Speaker 6: it's one kid's only wanting to do all the name
• 47:46
  Speaker 6: brand stuff.
• 47:47
Speaker 1: The other ones are like, oh, I'll go to DD's Burlington,
• 47:51
Speaker 1: you know, all right.
• 47:53
Speaker 6: All right, it works for my podcast.
• 47:54
Speaker 1: That's awesome, it's great. Thanks for calling. I appreciate it already.
• 48:02
Speaker 1: Fourteen four seven and seven. Yeah, somebody texted about the
• 48:05
Speaker 1: two fifty. Uh, you're right, Rome, it doesn't seem like
• 48:08
Speaker 1: a lot. My aunt bought my son's shoes one hundred dollars,
• 48:11
Speaker 1: so that would have been another that would have been
• 48:13
Speaker 1: three hundred. But yeah, back in the day, me and
• 48:15
Speaker 1: my ex husband would split everything, so we'd spend an
• 48:19
Speaker 1: easy seven to eight hundred for two kids and that school.
• 48:23
Speaker 1: By December, they already needed winter clothes.
• 48:26
  Speaker 7: New shop.
• 48:27
Speaker 1: Just yeah, well, all right, all right, how much you
• 48:30
Speaker 1: spend it on your kids? Right now? Get them into school?
• 48:33
Speaker 1: Back to school this year? How much you spend this year?
• 48:36
Speaker 1: How much have you spent so far? I mean kids,
• 48:38
Speaker 1: you got what'd you spend? How what was going on?
• 48:40
Speaker 8: Hey, room, I was calling you about going back to
• 48:43
Speaker 8: school for how much we sent on our kids I have?
• 48:47
Speaker 8: I was thinking the same thing you were like, It's
• 48:49
Speaker 8: just it seems like it's a little bit. And I
• 48:52
Speaker 8: spent about seven hundred all my thirteen year.
• 48:55
Speaker 1: Old son thirteen and they're really seven.
• 48:58
Speaker 8: With somewhat of a bread stuff and then somewhat like
• 49:01
  Speaker 8: Walmart stuff.
• 49:04
Speaker 1: Kids sit there, are so lucky you moms and dads
• 49:06
Speaker 1: and kids are so lucky you get to go to
• 49:07
Speaker 1: Walmart and Target and nobody makes fun of you.
• 49:11
Speaker 8: But you know, what's the kids nowadays? They do like
• 49:14
Speaker 8: the name brand stuff, but they also like the plane
• 49:17
Speaker 8: teys just plain dame stuff, and they like to go
• 49:21
Speaker 8: out on their shoes, their backpacks and stuff like that.
• 49:25
Speaker 1: Okay, all right, I mean that guess that makes sense.
• 49:28
Speaker 1: I guess that makes sense.
• 49:29
Speaker 8: Still like man, two fifty for two kids or three
• 49:31
Speaker 8: hundred where you go? I want to know where you were.
• 49:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, that seems kind of light to me too. All right, well,
• 49:40
Speaker 1: thanks for calling. I appreciate it.
• 49:41
  Speaker 7: Sorrybody.
• 49:43
Speaker 1: Already fourteen five for seven to seven. Hey, room, I
• 49:47
Speaker 1: spent twelve hundred on my two kids, a fourteen year
• 49:50
Speaker 1: old to nine year old, six hundred dollars for each kid,
• 49:54
Speaker 1: got one hundred dollars pair of shoes, seventy dollars backpacks,
• 49:56
Speaker 1: thirty five dollars haircuts, fifty dollars for school supplies. The
• 50:00
Speaker 1: rest went into school clothes. I see twelve hundred, six
• 50:04
Speaker 1: hundred a kid. I know a guy that spent twelve
• 50:07
Speaker 1: hundred alone on his daughter, just on school clothes, just
• 50:12
Speaker 1: on school clothes. Already fourteen five four seven to seven.
• 50:15
Speaker 1: Big boys sent me a text message. Hold on, he said,
• 50:17
Speaker 1: and let's talk about that. And to top it off,
• 50:20
Speaker 1: my thirty year old son has the audacity to say, Dad,
• 50:24
Speaker 1: I could use some new running shoes. I said, no, No,
• 50:29
Speaker 1: you could use a rent increase. Come on, come on, dad, hobby,
• 50:35
Speaker 1: what do you do?
• 50:35
  Speaker 2: Man?
• 50:36
Speaker 1: What are you gonna do?
• 50:38
  Speaker 3: Oh?
• 50:38
Speaker 1: That's awesome. I don't know what to make of this.
• 50:40
Speaker 1: I'll let you guys figure it out. Hey Romeo, I
• 50:46
Speaker 1: am a single mom of two kids. Over the weekend,
• 50:52
Speaker 1: my ex husband, their baby daddy picked him up and
• 50:56
Speaker 1: I saw on his Facebook page of him with the
• 51:00
Speaker 1: acting like he bought them all of this stuff. He
• 51:03
Speaker 1: was posting with my kids getting ready for school, when
• 51:07
Speaker 1: I'm the one that paid for everything, he acting like
• 51:10
Speaker 1: he did it taking credit. Rome What do you think
• 51:12
Speaker 1: about that? I think you guys got issues, That's what
• 51:18
Speaker 1: I think about that. Does he pay child support? Are
• 51:22
Speaker 1: you taking credit that you actually went out and bought
• 51:24
Speaker 1: them the things with his child support money? Or does
• 51:28
Speaker 1: he not pay child support and you actually spent all
• 51:32
Speaker 1: the money you made for them. You're gonna have to
• 51:34
Speaker 1: be a little more specific, hey, rome Most of these
• 51:37
Speaker 1: kids nowadays going basketball shorts and playing pro club shirts.
• 51:42
Speaker 1: Even some of the high school girls are are dressing
• 51:45
Speaker 1: sloppy and lazy with pajama pants and crocs. I spent
• 51:48
Speaker 1: about eight hundred for the one in high school the
• 51:51
Speaker 1: one in elementary school. But like you said, I remember
• 51:54
Speaker 1: I was I dressed to impress when I went to school,
• 51:57
Speaker 1: never in pajamas or crocs. Yeah, pajamas and a the
• 52:00
Speaker 1: stupidest thing ever. If you let your kids go go
• 52:02
Speaker 1: out like that, it's embarrassing. Okay, you're just embarrassing. I
• 52:07
Speaker 1: remember being you had to school. Oh you had to
• 52:11
Speaker 1: look good when you went to school every day. Nowadays,
• 52:14
Speaker 1: these kids are just embarrassing the way they dressed. Already
• 52:17
Speaker 1: four four or seven seven. But hey, save your parents' money,
• 52:20
Speaker 1: so you guys probably aren't too worried about it, right, Hey, Romeo,
• 52:24
Speaker 1: it's funny what you just said about that woman that
• 52:27
Speaker 1: said her husband or her ex husband is trying to
• 52:30
Speaker 1: take credit for the school supplies with the kids, or
• 52:33
Speaker 1: the clothes shopping. I give my wife one thousand dollars
• 52:37
Speaker 1: a kid. We have two kids. Your wife, your ex wife,
• 52:40
Speaker 1: must be your ex wife. I give my ex wife
• 52:42
Speaker 1: one thousand dollars a child and child support for two kids,
• 52:47
Speaker 1: and she takes all the credit for everything that they get.
• 52:55
Speaker 1: So she's on her social media talking about her kids
• 52:57
Speaker 1: are ready for school and all of the things she
• 53:00
Speaker 1: went and got in. But she doesn't mention the fact
• 53:02
Speaker 1: that I'm the one that gives her that much money
• 53:04
Speaker 1: for the kids. Yeah, funny how that works, huh. Already
• 53:09
Speaker 1: four two, five, four, seven seven your roam. Hey, we're
• 53:13
Speaker 1: at twenty five hundred for two kids, and today I
• 53:16
Speaker 1: gotta go get all three backup shoes, right or Rob
• 53:21
Speaker 1: have a good day, Rome. Twenty five hundred is a
• 53:24
Speaker 1: good chunk of change, good chunk of change.
• 53:28
  Speaker 3: Rome.
• 53:29
Speaker 1: How many outfits are these people buying for their kids? Well,
• 53:32
Speaker 1: I don't know. You gotta get at least five outfits
• 53:34
Speaker 1: right for the first week. Isn't that a rule when
• 53:38
Speaker 1: it comes to buying kids clothes? You gotta get five
• 53:40
Speaker 1: outfits for the first week. They gotta go to school
• 53:45
Speaker 1: five days a week, so you gotta get them some
• 53:47
Speaker 1: clothes already. Four two, five, four, seven to seven, Hey, roam.
• 53:52
Speaker 1: I think kids dress a certain way depending on the
• 53:55
Speaker 1: school they go to. That's what I've noticed. Anyways, Not
• 53:59
Speaker 1: to sound super but my wife would not allow our
• 54:01
Speaker 1: kids to dress sloppy. I mean, it's not superficial. I
• 54:05
Speaker 1: kind of get with what you're saying about the schools
• 54:08
Speaker 1: and where they go, but you could still look clean,
• 54:12
Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. These kids today look sloppy,
• 54:14
Speaker 1: they look lazy, They just look they look awful. And
• 54:18
  Speaker 1: it's not a debate. It's not a going well, everybody
• 54:21
Speaker 1: dresses like that, so it's okay, no you look sloppy.
• 54:26
Speaker 1: You all do just because everybody does it. You can
• 54:29
Speaker 1: tell somebody who looks nice, fitted, dressed, ready to go,
• 54:34
Speaker 1: and you can see somebody that doesn't care. Pajama pants
• 54:38
Speaker 1: are not for outdoor use, I'm sorry, okay, just like
• 54:43
Speaker 1: yoga pants, and he's not a classy look. So you know,
• 54:50
Speaker 1: you can see when somebody looks nice, dresses right, tries
• 54:54
Speaker 1: to look clean, looks fitted, gots their haircut, things like that.
• 54:57
Speaker 1: You know, there's an obvious difference between sloppy and clean,
• 55:02
Speaker 1: regardless of where you're at. But yeah, I just it's
• 55:09
Speaker 1: it's kind of I'm kind of embarrassed for these kids.
• 55:11
Speaker 1: And that's why whenever I see a kid that looks
• 55:13
Speaker 1: clean out, I'm thinking, yeah, that kid has a little
• 55:15
Speaker 1: respect for himself, a little bit better or his mom.
• 55:17
Speaker 1: His parents do because they don't want him out here
• 55:20
Speaker 1: looking raggedy. They want him looking clean, good more to roam.
• 55:24
Speaker 1: So I have three middle schools, and I spent fifteen
• 55:28
Speaker 1: hundred on their clothes, another one hundred and fifty apiece
• 55:31
Speaker 1: on shoes, and their school supplies I got from Amazon
• 55:34
Speaker 1: because it came in a pack with a backpack and
• 55:37
Speaker 1: everything that they needed with a calculator in there. And
• 55:40
Speaker 1: then I bought extra stuff, so that was like one
• 55:43
Speaker 1: hundred and ten. And I have three grandkids that I
• 55:47
Speaker 1: helped take care of and their clothes, shoes and school supplies.
• 55:50
  Speaker 1: Twelve hundred. Damn, that's a that's a lot. That's a lot.
• 55:57
Speaker 1: But per a kid, it doesn't seem like a lot, though,
• 56:00
Speaker 1: But man, that's a lot. Hey, roam the Seahawk Lou.
• 56:02
Speaker 1: I'm a sixteen hundred dollars with back to school supplies
• 56:06
Speaker 1: on three kids, everything they want, very expensive. Can't believe
• 56:09
Speaker 1: it costs this much. Sixty Where did Seahawk Lou get
• 56:12
Speaker 1: sixteen hundred dollars? I'm full an't even got a job.
• 56:16
Speaker 1: Where'd he come up on sixteen hundred?
• 56:19
  Speaker 3: Hey? Ron?
• 56:20
Speaker 1: I spent eighteen hundred on school closed shoes for my
• 56:22
Speaker 1: eight year old son, eleven and seventeen year old daughters,
• 56:26
Speaker 1: all shopping done at the mall and ross. Overall they
• 56:29
Speaker 1: came up on a good haul. It's the shoes that
• 56:32
Speaker 1: gets us, Okay. I can see that those shoes getting
• 56:36
Speaker 1: you already. Four two point four seven The seven. Talking
• 56:39
Speaker 1: to you guys right now about how much you're spending
• 56:41
Speaker 1: on school supplies, clothes, getting you ready back to school,
• 56:44
Speaker 1: no matter whatever it is that they need. Looks like
• 56:47
Speaker 1: there's kind of a standard, an average of about two
• 56:49
Speaker 1: point fifty, about three hundred to six hundred per kid. Yeah,
• 56:53
  Speaker 1: that's not bad. I mean, I guess, I guess that's
• 56:56
Speaker 1: what as if that's what it costs today, that's what
• 56:58
Speaker 1: it costs. Seems a little light to me. But yeah,
• 57:00
Speaker 1: if that's what it cost already four two, five, four
• 57:03
Speaker 1: or seven to seven, hey roam. All these kids nowadays
• 57:06
Speaker 1: got that same haircut too, the Edgar haircut. I don't
• 57:12
Speaker 1: really mind that because kids are silly, kids are trendy,
• 57:16
Speaker 1: kids are followers. They don't really there's you know, so
• 57:19
Speaker 1: I don't really mind all that. I just would like
• 57:22
Speaker 1: to look them. I would like to see him dress
• 57:24
Speaker 1: a little better, have a little more pride in themselves,
• 57:28
Speaker 1: and go out with a little more pride in themselves. Hey,
• 57:32
Speaker 1: good morn to Rome. While we're on the top of
• 57:34
Speaker 1: a child support I just want to say I spend
• 57:36
Speaker 1: a total of thirteen hundred dollars on two kids. Shout
• 57:39
Speaker 1: out to my husband the stepfather to my children for
• 57:42
Speaker 1: stepping up and helping. Not a dime from the father
• 57:45
Speaker 1: of my girls. Five outfits each, two pairs of shoes, makeup,
• 57:50
Speaker 1: and other girl necessities. We should have chose a better
• 57:55
Speaker 1: man to have kids with, oh Man alrighty four two
• 58:01
Speaker 1: five four seven seven eighty Romeo, thank you for the
• 58:04
Speaker 1: backpack yesterday. I didn't get lucky with it like damn
• 58:07
Speaker 1: Raider Rob with his laptop, but I still appreciate the
• 58:10
Speaker 1: schools supplies. Well, I'm glad. I thank Rodriguez and associates.
• 58:15
Speaker 1: Daniel is really great when it comes to give it
• 58:17
Speaker 1: back to the community, So we try. Rome You think
• 58:21
Speaker 1: on the first day of school there's gonna be a
• 58:22
Speaker 1: lot of single baby mamas drinking mimosas after they drop
• 58:26
Speaker 1: off their kids. I'm thinking of taking the day off
• 58:28
Speaker 1: so I can go hit on them. I'm not really
• 58:34
Speaker 1: sure why you point you uh uh, you know, pointed
• 58:39
Speaker 1: out or you know, spotlighted single moms having What does
• 58:42
Speaker 1: that have to do. I think there's gonna be a
• 58:44
Speaker 1: lot of married, stay at home moms that are gonna
• 58:47
Speaker 1: be having mimosas and not why why single moms? Most
• 58:51
Speaker 1: single moms still work. So why would the single mom
• 58:55
Speaker 1: be taking their kid to school the first day of
• 58:57
Speaker 1: school and then going to hitting the mimosas. It's most
• 59:00
Speaker 1: likely that to stay at home moms are the ones
• 59:03
Speaker 1: that are gonna hit the mimosas because they're the ones
• 59:06
Speaker 1: that have had the last two and a half months
• 59:08
Speaker 1: disrupted from their daily routine. So no, no, so no,
• 59:13
Speaker 1: I think you should go to work. I'm just saying,
• 59:15
Speaker 1: all right, and one to rome I'm with you on
• 59:19
Speaker 1: pajamas and slippers, so Tacky, have a good one, brother.
• 59:23
Speaker 1: It just they look ridiculous. You just look ridiculous. It's
• 59:27
Speaker 1: sad already four two four or seven to seven. And
• 59:30
Speaker 1: Romeo is funny you talking about the kids and the
• 59:33
Speaker 1: way they dress. I like to go out, and every
• 59:36
Speaker 1: time my kids ask me to go with me, they
• 59:39
Speaker 1: have to get dressed. There is no way I would
• 59:42
Speaker 1: let them go out in pajamas and crocs. When I'm
• 59:45
Speaker 1: running around town. You just never know who we're going
• 59:48
Speaker 1: to run into, so they always have to at least
• 59:51
Speaker 1: have pants, a shirt and some shoes on. Fair enough,
• 59:57
Speaker 1: fair enough, school's going to be back in session here
• 59:59
Speaker 1: in the day or two, And somebody was talking about
• 1:00:03
Speaker 1: single moms. He's thinking about taking the day off because
• 1:00:05
Speaker 1: of the single moms, But the single moms still have
• 1:00:07
Speaker 1: to work. It's the stay at home moms that you
• 1:00:10
Speaker 1: need to be thinking about. If you're gonna go out
• 1:00:12
Speaker 1: and hit on anybody, it's got to be the stay
• 1:00:14
Speaker 1: at home moms who are going to be at the
• 1:00:16
Speaker 1: who are going to be out having mimosas and breakfast
• 1:00:19
Speaker 1: and all those things, trying to, you know, get back
• 1:00:22
Speaker 1: into their daily routine of doing nothing after their kids
• 1:00:25
Speaker 1: go to school. You got to look out for those moms. Okay, hey, wrong,
• 1:00:30
Speaker 1: You're going to be catching cougars during happy hour? Now?
• 1:00:34
Speaker 1: Why why? Why does kids going back to school? I
• 1:00:40
Speaker 1: mean cougars are going to be at happy Ron? Now
• 1:00:43
Speaker 1: what does that mean? Cougars are usually women that don't
• 1:00:48
Speaker 1: have any children and are past their expiration date and
• 1:00:53
Speaker 1: are out looking for younger guys. What does that have
• 1:00:55
Speaker 1: to do with kids going back to school? And what
• 1:00:58
  Speaker 1: up wrong?

  Speaker 3: This is?
• 1:00:59
Speaker 1: MKD appreciate the backpack man, Appreciate all you do. Thank you, ah,
• 1:01:04
Speaker 1: I appreciate you guys man for listening. It really was
• 1:01:07
Speaker 1: nice to see all the people that are still participating
• 1:01:09
Speaker 1: in the backpacks and the giveaways and the stuff we
• 1:01:11
Speaker 1: do with Rodriguez and associates in the show. So it's
• 1:01:14
Speaker 1: really uh yeah, man, appreciate you guys already four ten, five, four,
• 1:01:19
Speaker 1: seven to seven. Hey, Rome, do you think there's a
• 1:01:22
Speaker 1: lot of stay at home moms waiting for school to
• 1:01:25
Speaker 1: start up again so they can get back to their
• 1:01:27
Speaker 1: Shenan against Slash lifestyle? Yeah? Why wouldn't they. I was
• 1:01:33
Speaker 1: actually having a conversation the other day with a stay
• 1:01:36
Speaker 1: at home mom and shall stay at home moms for
• 1:01:39
Speaker 1: some reason talk about just how busy they are never
• 1:01:42
Speaker 1: they got no time for nothing. Now, I don't know
• 1:01:45
Speaker 1: how many of you guys have ever lived alone on
• 1:01:47
Speaker 1: the house and had to clean it yourself. Yeah, if
• 1:01:50
Speaker 1: you do it every day, it takes about an hour
• 1:01:52
Speaker 1: and a half. Okay maybe, So what do you do
• 1:01:55
Speaker 1: with the rest of the time these kids are in school?
• 1:01:57
Speaker 1: What all day time they get out? And yes, I
• 1:02:01
Speaker 1: do think these stay at home moms are going to
• 1:02:03
Speaker 1: get back to their lifestyle and whatever that consists of
• 1:02:06
Speaker 1: without their kids. I'm gonna be honest with you though.
• 1:02:09
Speaker 1: In Bakersfield, I think the majority of stay at home
• 1:02:12
Speaker 1: moms sixty percent love their kids to death, and they're
• 1:02:16
Speaker 1: gonna miss their kids being gone. I think you got
• 1:02:18
Speaker 1: about forty percent that are just selfish enough that they
• 1:02:23
Speaker 1: want their time back and try and we'll and we'll
• 1:02:25
Speaker 1: give you a justifiable reason why they need their time,
• 1:02:30
Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So Sancho's got to get
• 1:02:35
Speaker 1: back to work, though, I mean, he's got to clock
• 1:02:37
Speaker 1: in on Wednesday. A lot of stay at home moms
• 1:02:39
Speaker 1: waiting for Sancho to come back. Oh, I got some
• 1:02:41
Speaker 1: text messages about school because it's starting here pretty soon.
• 1:02:45
Speaker 1: I wonder let's see here. Hey, good morning, Romeo. So
• 1:02:49
Speaker 1: my daughter is starting high school. It's gonna be our
• 1:02:52
Speaker 1: freshman year this year. My wife wants me to take
• 1:02:55
Speaker 1: the day off work, but I really can't. I'm kind
• 1:02:59
Speaker 1: of busy at the office and have things to do.
• 1:03:02
Speaker 1: She thinks I'm wrong because I'm not taking the day
• 1:03:04
Speaker 1: off work to take her to school for her first
• 1:03:06
Speaker 1: day of high school. Rome what do you think about that?
• 1:03:10
Speaker 1: I'm guessing your wife's to stay at home mom, is
• 1:03:13
Speaker 1: what I'm gonna just guess. So she wants you to
• 1:03:18
Speaker 1: take your no, I think your wife's absolutely wrong. There's
• 1:03:21
Speaker 1: nothing wrong with you not you know, taking this doesn't
• 1:03:24
Speaker 1: make you a bad father because you you got work.
• 1:03:27
Speaker 1: I mean, who's paying the bills? So I just got
• 1:03:29
Speaker 1: to make sure that kid can afford all the school
• 1:03:31
Speaker 1: clothes and the backpacks, and the and the and the
• 1:03:33
Speaker 1: school supplies and the whatever comes with being in high school.
• 1:03:36
  Speaker 3: Right.
• 1:03:38
Speaker 1: No, that's ridiculous that it's ridiculous for your wife to
• 1:03:41
Speaker 1: put you in that position to make it seem like
• 1:03:43
  Speaker 1: you're a bad You're a bad dad because you got
• 1:03:46
Speaker 1: to you gotta make money. And when she's perfectly capable
• 1:03:50
Speaker 1: of taking your your daughter to school. You know, now
• 1:03:54
Speaker 1: you'd be bad parents if you made the daughter get
• 1:03:57
Speaker 1: a ride or or or something like that, or ride
• 1:03:59
Speaker 1: the bus us on the first day, or you know,
• 1:04:02
Speaker 1: something to that. You know, but no, just as long
• 1:04:05
Speaker 1: as one of you's available to take her, you know,
• 1:04:08
Speaker 1: you're not leaving her hanging. Your wife's ridiculous, She just ridiculous. Hey, Rome,
• 1:04:13
Speaker 1: you were talking about the first day of school. What
• 1:04:15
Speaker 1: about kindergarten. My husband is not taking the day off,
• 1:04:20
Speaker 1: and it's my son's first day of kindergarten, so I'll
• 1:04:23
Speaker 1: be taking them by myself. What do you think about that?
• 1:04:26
Speaker 1: I think that you're being ridiculous too. I mean, as
• 1:04:29
Speaker 1: long as one of the parents there to take the
• 1:04:31
Speaker 1: child to whatever you believe that child needs to go to.
• 1:04:35
Speaker 1: It's sometimes both parents can be there. Okay, you're a team, right,
• 1:04:40
Speaker 1: you're there, he's there, send photos, all that good stuff.
• 1:04:43
Speaker 1: It's just not you. Women are wrong to think that,
• 1:04:47
Speaker 1: you know, Rome, these kids need to go back to
• 1:04:49
Speaker 1: school already. My girl been nagging lately, and I can't
• 1:04:53
Speaker 1: go see Sancha because her kids are home and her
• 1:04:56
Speaker 1: man makes the kids go with her whenever she leaves.
• 1:05:01
Speaker 1: Who knew we'd need each other more than we knew? Okay, Rome,
• 1:05:10
Speaker 1: come on, man, she's in high school. Send her off
• 1:05:13
Speaker 1: on her own. I let my third grader go go
• 1:05:17
Speaker 1: by herself. She ain't new to the game. Well yeah,
• 1:05:21
Speaker 1: because she's third grade. You're right. There were two times
• 1:05:24
Speaker 1: that you need to take your kids to school, maybe three.
• 1:05:29
Speaker 1: The first day of kindergarten, the first day of the
• 1:05:33
Speaker 1: first day of what's the middle school if they go
• 1:05:36
Speaker 1: to a different middle school, and the first day of
• 1:05:39
Speaker 1: high school. It's only three times you need to take
• 1:05:41
Speaker 1: your kid. You don't need to get third grades. You're right,
• 1:05:43
Speaker 1: third grade is not new to the game.
• 1:05:45
  Speaker 3: Right.
• 1:05:46
Speaker 1: That's just like at the backpack giveaway, this girl says, Oh,
• 1:05:50
Speaker 1: I'm so hungover. I was out all night partying for
• 1:05:52
Speaker 1: my birthday. Oh really, how old are you? Twenty seven?
• 1:05:55
  Speaker 1: Twenty seven?
• 1:05:56
  Speaker 7: Eight?
• 1:05:56
Speaker 1: In a real birthday? Calm down, don't act like you're
• 1:05:59
Speaker 1: doing something. Seven is just another day. Third grade is
• 1:06:03
Speaker 1: just another day. But you know the first day at
• 1:06:05
Speaker 1: high school is a special day. But you know, these
• 1:06:08
Speaker 1: women got to stop trying to bring their the baby
• 1:06:11
Speaker 1: daddy down for not one for going to work instead
• 1:06:14
Speaker 1: of going to school. You know what that food don't
• 1:06:17
Speaker 1: need to take day off to go to work.
• 1:06:19
  Speaker 3: You got it.
• 1:06:20
Speaker 1: You're the mom. You're there. You can handle it. What
• 1:06:22
Speaker 1: you need a man for least, that's what you keep saying.
• 1:06:25
Speaker 5: Yo, wrong miss your boy switched?
• 1:06:27
Speaker 3: Man? How you going to do?
• 1:06:28
Speaker 1: I'm doing good, brother?
• 1:06:29
  Speaker 4: What's up?
• 1:06:31
  Speaker 1: Oh? Man?
• 1:06:31
Speaker 5: Laughing at these women talking about taking day awful work man.
• 1:06:36
Speaker 5: Then we start taking a day of work, then they're
• 1:06:38
Speaker 5: gonna be like, we need you at work, mank pre
• 1:06:50
Speaker 5: k day. But he know daddy had work taking care
• 1:06:54
  Speaker 5: of it.
• 1:06:56
Speaker 1: That's all that matters you absolutely.
• 1:07:02
  Speaker 3: Crazy morning.
• 1:07:03
Speaker 1: Oh that's awesome, brother, Thanks for calling you do all right,
• 1:07:11
Speaker 1: A four two, five, four seven to seven row. When
• 1:07:13
Speaker 1: you snitch on cheaters, absolutely, I would stitch on a
• 1:07:16
Speaker 1: cheater one without a doubt. I would snitch on one
• 1:07:21
Speaker 1: of my boys or friends, boy well whoever, if I
• 1:07:24
Speaker 1: caught them cheating. Hey, you have a cheese fan, and
• 1:07:27
Speaker 1: that's nothing. I've told you guys that for decades. Man,
• 1:07:30
Speaker 1: She's the worst thing you can do to somebody, So
• 1:07:31
Speaker 1: the hell yeah, I'd snitch on you. Hey, you have

  Speaker 8: Every morning, morning
