Latest / Turley Talks / Ep. 3980 Pelosi Made MILLIONS…But THIS Soldier Gets Prison?
Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_02]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_02]: Dr. Steve Turley, join me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_03]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_02]: Hey gang, it's me, Dr. Steve, and we got a story today that perfectly captures everything broken about power in Washington, D.C.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_02]: So a U.S. special forces soldier, Ganon Van Dyke, was reportedly involved in a covert operation targeting Nicholas Maduro.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_02]: And now I kid you not.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_02]: Now he's facing decades in prison.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not talking Maduro.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_02]: I'm talking about this special operation agent here now, not for the mission obviously, but because prosecutors say he used classified information to place bets on the outcome of that mission and he ended up making $400,000.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_02]: So federal prosecutors are claiming that he placed those wagers through prediction markets before the news became public and now he could actually be looking at up to 60 years behind bars.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: Now we have a clip of this take a look.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_01]: A story just came out before the show came on about one of the guys they sent in to grab Maduro out of Venezuela actually bet on that.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: and made $400,000 in the DOJ has now arrested him.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_01]: One of the guys that went into Venezuela to do that operation back in December.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so again, the reason I wanted to talk about that is because here you have an example of the DOJ saying, you know, this is not fair, we're going to go and we're going to throw the book at this guy, right?
- 1:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not necessarily saying what he did is right.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_00]: However, every single day in Congress, you have multiple members of Congress that are engaging in insider trading.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: We had an actual ban on this that we pressured leadership to bring to the floor and we're going to get on vote on it.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_00]: But hockey and Jeffries, okay.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_00]: When it told the Democrats not to support this ban and we were receiving own pressure from our leadership on pushing this forward.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_00]: And yet you have a member who went on this raid, which by the way, our military members don't get paid a lot.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_00]: But the member goes on this raid, places a bet, and yet he's facing up to 50 or 60 years in prison.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: So there is no double standard of justice, or there is no fair justice in this country if you have members of Congress getting away with it, and this guy doing it every day.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_00]: So on an unpopular take, I'm going to be asking for him to be pardoned.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to ask that he have to, or they discord his profits.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_00]: and that he basically go back to the military because at the end of the day, again, we have proof of this happening every day.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: Nancy Pelosi, he's 17,000 percent returns on her stock investments.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_00]: She's not going to jail.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_00]: I totally agree.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_01]: Democrats are Republicans, 600 percent, not jail.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: And that list, when they show that list of the most corrupt, everybody is making a fortune.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: That's a very, that's a most colored list.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's red and it's blue.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, any, to any one party.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_01]: Now, just a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit
- 3:06[SPEAKER_02]: Just to be clear, you know, in fairness, if there was wrong doing here, if he used classified information to make money, then fine, you know, of course investigate, prosecute, apply the law.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_02]: But if you think about it literally for just a few seconds, the utter hypocrisy surrounding this is astonishing.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm going to show you an image in a moment that's going to blow your mind because while one soldier is getting the book thrown at him for allegedly making 400 grand off information, the public didn't have,
- 3:41[SPEAKER_02]: members of Congress have been doing their own version of this for years.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_02]: They sit and close door briefings.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_02]: They sit on defense committees.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_02]: They draft federal budgets.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_02]: All the while trading stocks in the very companies that are directly affected by their actions.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_02]: Seriously, it's insane.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_02]: Members of Congress routinely outperform Wall Street every year, and not by a little, I mean, take a look at this.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_02]: This is the most recent congressional trading report.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_02]: These are the returns of members of Congress in 2025.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_02]: If you're listening by way of our 20 million podcast downloads, it's a list of congressman after congressman center after senator who've each outperformed war war in Buffett.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_02]: They've outperformed hedge funds.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_02]: They've outperformed professional money managers, basically everyone on Wall Street and the craziest part.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_02]: Nothing ever happens to them.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_02]: No fines, no prison.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_02]: Not even a slap on the wrist.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_02]: They face zero consequences.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_02]: Joining me now is my good friend Ross Givins.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_02]: Ross is a 20 year market veteran.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_02]: He's worked as a broker, fun manager, and vice president of investment management for JP Morgan Chase.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_02]: He's also one of the leading authorities on insider trading.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_02]: Congressional trading and how regular Americans can legally follow these money trails to profit themselves.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_02]: And we're also hosting a free live training for my audience.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_02]: This there's a May 28th, 3 p.m. Eastern, where he's going to show you how these insiders do it, where the trades are reported,
- 5:26[SPEAKER_02]: and how regular people can legally and ethically piggyback on these moves.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_02]: Make sure to click the link in the description below or go to TURLITAUX InsiderTrading.com to register.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_02]: It's a free online event that you're not.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_02]: Good to want to miss.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_02]: Ross, my friend, welcome back great to see you as always.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_02]: Same doctor Steve, always good to see you.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, so it's good.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_02]: Like I say to you, every time I chat with you, I partially mean that.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_02]: The other part of me, my blood pressure goes up.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_02]: You get me really upset, but you always make me feel better at the end because you turn the lemons in the lemonade.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_02]: I gotta tell you that.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_02]: That's what makes you so awesome.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_02]: I did want to talk with you because you are the expert on this stuff.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_02]: You've been tracking their trades for years.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_02]: What are your thoughts on this soldier's alleged bet?
- 6:17[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I think you nailed it with a hypocrisy claim, right?
- 6:20[SPEAKER_03]: It's just such an incredible double standard because Congress has no problem using inside of information for their benefit.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_03]: When they're knocking down as you just showed, 70 and 80 percent annual returns in the stock market, there's nothing to see there.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_03]: It's all coincid.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_03]: It's all coincid.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_03]: But the fact that they would do this to one of our most elite warriors, a guy risking his life makes a couple bucks on the side for taking out a
- 6:47[SPEAKER_03]: And it's not that insider information is suddenly bad.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_03]: It's just bad to them when they're wrong person uses it.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, and this is I think this is what drive so many people so crazy.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think anyone believes that what he did is right, but to turn around and to have these people make him public enemy number one after, you know, authorities turn a blind eye to Pelosi and her cronies for 20 years.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's just disgusting.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_02]: Now, most people have heard about insider trading in Congress, but I don't think they actually realize.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_02]: How bad it is.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_02]: Can you can you walk us through this report?
- 7:26[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, the numbers here are undeniable as they always are.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_03]: And if you remember we talked last year, they didn't even better in 2024.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_03]: They did this in 2023, 2022.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_03]: So it's it's not even randomly got lucky last year.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_03]: They're consistently beating the market.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_03]: Pelosi as we all know is the poster job.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_03]: It's not just her.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_03]: It's it's Republicans.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_03]: It's Democrats.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_03]: It's it's you know, junior senators.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_03]: It's bipartisan.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_03]: It is the one issue they could agree on.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_03]: They love shooting the stock market.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, you look at this.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you've got members of Congress beating buffets.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_03]: You've got members doing double the market return some putting up returns better than any hedge fund in the world doctor Steve right and we're supposed to believe that we just happen to elect the best stock pickers and on earth.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_03]: Give me a break.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_03]: If you can even balance a budget, they're lawyers.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_03]: AOC is the next bartender.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_03]: And they're putting more and buff it to shame.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, it's rampant.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_03]: It's obvious.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_03]: The only silver lining is always tell you is that their traits are public record.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_03]: They are required to report them publicly.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_03]: So what we do is you know, we buy the same stocks.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_03]: We follow along.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_03]: And so I show people how to do this to take their advantage and use it for ourselves.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_02]: And this is, you know, this is not something you just discovered.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they've been doing this for years and you've been, yeah, decades.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, Pelosi, like she started back in 08, you know, doing this made what she made, 270 million dollars a stock trade.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, and they're just so perfectly time, like they're not even trying.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_03]: She bought,
- 8:59[SPEAKER_03]: uh, Nvidia call options two weeks before she passed her bill, the chips Act that gave billions of dollars to Nvidia and the other semiconductor company.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_03]: She bought Tesla right before Biden signed an executive order and a whole federal fleet turned to EVs.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_03]: Mike Rassau before 20 billion dollar army contracts like millions of millions of dollars on each one of these trades.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_03]: And again,
- 9:29[SPEAKER_03]: We see politicians and defense committees by stock in the defense companies.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_03]: They're hoarding the O.D.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_03]: contracts to people with access to policy decisions, buying the companies that directly benefit from those policies.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_03]: And when those stocks go up, they make a fortune.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's all a big coincidence.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_03]: You know, it's it's low to Chris.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_02]: It is ludicrous.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_02]: It's insane.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_02]: Can you explain what is an isn't insider trading like what's the technical definition because I don't understand how this doesn't qualify and you know how they how they're simply never prosecuted for this
- 10:12[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, well, it definitely qualifies.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_03]: They're definitely breaking a law.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_03]: It's, it's textbook inside or trading, but this is something that's very hard to prosecute, especially prosecuting a sitting member of Congress because you would have to prove that they not only knew private information, but that it was their intent to profit off of that information.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_03]: And these guys have, you know, layers of protection.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, it's my investment guy.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's whatever and, and look.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_03]: Congress is not the best and brightest, okay?
- 10:41[SPEAKER_03]: We know that.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_03]: But there's smart enough not to email their broker saying, we're about to sign a big DOD contract as Boeing by the stock.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_03]: It's getting reported Tuesday at three, right?
- 10:51[SPEAKER_03]: So that's what you would need, essentially, to to pert to prosecutors, people.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_03]: But the technical definition is using material, non-public information to profit.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_03]: And, you know, Congress really is just a tip of the iceberg.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_03]: These stories we hear about are politicians because politics is on 24, 7, but corporate insiders do it even more, the CEO, the CFOs, and they're far better at it.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_03]: You think about the advantages they have, and I know I'm not helping the crowd, the things to stop markets rigged.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_03]: think about what they've got.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you've got pharmaceutical executives that know how the drug trials are going.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_03]: They know when they're about to get an FDA approval.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_03]: You got tech insiders that know in the next AI models getting released.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_03]: Every chief financial officer of every public-y traded company knows exactly what that earnings report is going to be in advance.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_03]: because they filled out the earnings report right exactly yeah and yet they're free to buy and sell their own stock that the silver lining they're they too required to report these rates and they got to do it inside of two days so like when they're loading up on two days you see it usually wins day yeah and we just follow along we've been doing this for almost a decade I mean we bought stocks that have gone up like 20 fold just following these
- 12:09[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gang, absolutely stunning, you know, we talked about this before and I'm glad I'm so glad you're doing another one of your free training events because people should at the very least know where to find this public information, they should have the option of using it for themselves.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and that's again, that's what I love about it.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_02]: It's just when all's done and done, you're giving the information that's already out there and then consolidating it for everyone to be able to use and easily and understand and benefit from.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_02]: Now, there was, uh, to my knowledge, there was a bill to actually ban congressional stock trading, uh, representative Anna Polina Luna.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_02]: uh... very popular on this channel she she's talked about it for months like it was it looked like it was a sure thing but it seems to have stalled do you have any information on that
- 13:01[SPEAKER_03]: or it's stalling, they always do.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_03]: This is, you know, the latest bid to ban insider trading.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_03]: They're all very confident because all their colleagues are going, yeah, yeah, they get in front of a camera.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_03]: And we need to ban this, we need to ban this.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_03]: And it's time to vote.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_03]: It doesn't happen.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_03]: They never passed and ever will.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, the only one that ever passed was the stock act back in 2012, which they saw in their old mama.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but they sold this as a fix to it.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_03]: But the penalty for violating the stock
- 13:32[SPEAKER_03]: is a $200 fine.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_03]: So you make five million bucks on a suspicious trade.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_03]: That's, that's not, that's a parking ticket.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_03]: And, and when the more serious bands come up, the leadership in Congress always finds a way to slow it down, to water it down, to bury it, to attach it to some nonsense build.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_03]: No one's going to vote on.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_03]: because these people have to pass a bill banning the thing they do to make millions of dollars.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_03]: The last thing they want to do is to cut off their gravy train.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_02]: Right, right, it's a business model when all cyclone.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_02]: So one man allegedly makes 400 grand and faces decades in prison.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_02]: Congress makes literally millions.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_02]: If you're, if you're Pelosi hundreds of millions, and it gets a slap on the wrist if that, right?
- 14:23[SPEAKER_02]: Not even that, right?
- 14:24[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and that's why as you know, you know, I mean, this work better than anybody.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_03]: Everyone is so fed up with politics with politicians and like you said not defending using classified military intel to place no nobody's seen as the right thing to do what I'm saying is if the standard is you cannot use private government information to enrich yourself.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_03]: That should apply to everybody.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_03]: And if you're going to prosecute somebody, how about the career politician who's been living off the taxpayer for three decades, not the black ops guy risking his life to black bag of narco terrorist in middle of the right night.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_03]: So you can't just apply the rules to soldiers or to citizens or to people outside the club, it needs to apply to Congress, too.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_03]: And until politicians suddenly grow a conscience, and I'm not holding my breath on that one,
- 15:13[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just going to keep following their trades, right?
- 15:15[SPEAKER_03]: Because I think that's the least they could do.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_03]: They take 37% of you in my labor.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_03]: They give it away, they siphoned it off to themselves, throwing us a few stock tips as the absolute minimum.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_03]: I think they can do.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_03]: And if they're making money off this stuff, I'm not saying it's right, what they're doing, but what we're doing is not unethical.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_03]: We're not doing anything illegal.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_03]: We're following the publicly disclosed stock trades of our government leaders and top corporate executives.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_03]: they're making money so should you so everybody watching this join me on Thursday it's May 28th at three o'clock eastern it's an hour it's online it's 100% free I'll show you everything and had a profit off this stuff yourself
- 15:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and it's great.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_02]: I've been in a number of process trainings and they're just phenomenal, but I do, I do think that's the part to focus on right instead of just being outraged.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_02]: Don't get mad.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_02]: Get even as it were.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and look, they didn't consult me a new when they wrote these laws, right.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_03]: This is the game board.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_03]: We got set in.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_03]: We have to play by the rules of the game.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_03]: You want to stand out there on the street and hold your pick at sign.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_03]: Not yourself out.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to change anything.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_03]: Congressional trades are reported publicly.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_03]: Corporate insider trades are reported publicly.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_03]: CEO, CFOs, VPs, they all have to file with the SEC when they buy their cell stock.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_03]: You can see them almost instantly.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_03]: And when you see these just absolute obvious opportunities, the top executives, multiple board members, top politicians, all buying the same stock, out of nowhere with their own money, when half the members of the military subcommittee are all buying the same defense stock,
- 16:53[SPEAKER_03]: I had tension piggybacked their trade and that's what I'm going to show all your viewers on Thursday.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_03]: So again, click that link to register.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_03]: I forgot to mention, we are also sending out our most recent stock picked to everybody who registers, even if you can't come, you'll get it instantly over email.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_03]: So you'll see what insiders are buying, you know, how to keep risk low, what's happening with the stock.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_03]: So hopefully you make some money on it, but I want you to see what's available.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_03]: And again, you're not breaking a law, you're not getting any secret tips, you're looking public filings on federal websites that are hiding in plain sight, we're just filtering it down to the more obvious stuff.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, could, do you mind giving us just even right now, give us an example of that?
- 17:36[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so, um,
- 17:38[SPEAKER_03]: Part two when it comes to mind is a little medical company we bought we saw the CEO, the CFO, the chairman, multiple executives all started buying big like six and seven figure purchase a piece.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_03]: And so we fought a couple months later, the stock was bought out.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_03]: Like two months, it jumped 78%.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_03]: We did another one called perspective therapeutics.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_03]: Nobody's, it's a 40 cents stock.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_03]: When I'm talking about it, video.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_03]: This is like off the radar stuff.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_03]: And they're running these big drug trials.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_03]: They're expected to release the results any day.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_03]: And then suddenly, in a week, the CEO, the CFO, the VP, the board, the chief medical officer, like there's all buying it up.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_03]: And so again, we fought along.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_03]: In fact, this was one of the trades a couple of years ago.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_03]: We gave away for free to your viewers on that training event and look at this, we have a 300% time in just four months on a political side.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_03]: This was Pelosi's last trade, Tempest AI.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, we did a deep dive on this in our research.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_03]: Turns out, she used to work very closely with one of the top executives of this company.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_03]: Wow, what a coincidence that is.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_02]: Right, right, exactly.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it tripled in a month, you know, so,
- 18:50[SPEAKER_03]: Listen, there's multiple ways to skin the cat, but I think tracking insider trades is probably the closest thing to a legal cheat sheet in the stock market.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_03]: So in Thursday, May 28th at three, I'll show you everything.
