- 0:02Speaker 1: What's up and welcome. This is the Rogue Recap and
- 0:06Speaker 1: you are here with your host, Linda McLaughlin. She is pissed, off, outraged,
- 0:11Speaker 1: and has zero patience with what seems to be an
- 0:14Speaker 1: epidemic of entitlement and stupidity. Here we talk about all
- 0:19Speaker 1: the things the other shows just don't or won't touch.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Make sure to like and subscribe to her podcast so
- 0:25Speaker 1: you never miss an episode.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Welcome to the Rogue Recap, everybody. It is Tuesday, January thirteenth,
- 0:32Speaker 2: and today was the day that the Supreme Court of
- 0:36Speaker 2: the United States got to talk about how you're a
- 0:40Speaker 2: boy or a girl. Yes, that is a full and
- 0:43Speaker 2: complete sentence. I am not confused, I am not stuttering.
- 0:47Speaker 2: The highest court in the land is hearing testimony from
- 0:52Speaker 2: people who practice law for their living. This is how
- 0:56Speaker 2: they pay their mortgage on defining the difference between men
- 1:02Speaker 2: and women. Because grown ups on the left are now
- 1:06Speaker 2: realizing that this mental illness called trans and people now
- 1:15Speaker 2: that believe that they are the gender that they were
- 1:17Speaker 2: quote unquote wait for it, assigned at birth. I'm like assigned.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Today we had a trans athlete who went up against
- 1:27Speaker 2: the state and it's happening in several states. So there
- 1:31Speaker 2: were two cases that were heard today. One was the
- 1:34Speaker 2: state of West Virginia versus this person who goes by
- 1:39Speaker 2: Becky Pepper, this is a boy pretending to be a girl.
- 1:44Speaker 2: And then there is the Idaho case which is little
- 1:47Speaker 2: versus he Cocks. So I think the larger concept here
- 1:52Speaker 2: that we are trying to cover in this show is
- 1:57Speaker 2: that we as a society need to stop allowing the
- 2:04Speaker 2: mutilation and the pervasive and sick and twisted ideology of
- 2:10Speaker 2: messing with kids' heads when they are at their youngest
- 2:13Speaker 2: and most vulnerable stages of life. They don't need to
- 2:17Speaker 2: be confused and told you know, somebody messed up when
- 2:21Speaker 2: they made you, and you weren't supposed to be a boy,
- 2:24Speaker 2: You're supposed to be a girl. So here, we're going
- 2:26Speaker 2: to give you experimental transition drugs. We're going to give
- 2:29Speaker 2: you surgeries, and we're going to turn your dick into
- 2:33Speaker 2: a vagina. We're going to turn your vagina into a dick.
- 2:36Speaker 2: We're going to cut your breasts off. And by the way,
- 2:39Speaker 2: as we do this, it is completely irreversible. We can't
- 2:44Speaker 2: fix it once we do it. So let's just say
- 2:47Speaker 2: if you do this when you're oh, I don't know,
- 2:49Speaker 2: nine to ten, because your parents have decided that they
- 2:53Speaker 2: are going to bask in the glory of having a
- 2:56Speaker 2: child that instead of excelling in school or being a
- 2:59Speaker 2: great athlete or a wonderful poet or an amazing musician
- 3:03Speaker 2: or a terrific artist, you're going to be trans and
- 3:06Speaker 2: you're going to stick out, and you're going to need
- 3:08Speaker 2: to ask for specialness and special that every single day
- 3:11Speaker 2: of your life for the rest of your life. And
- 3:14Speaker 2: your parents, for some reason, love the idea of a
- 3:17Speaker 2: lifetime of martyrdom, so they're going to enjoy every minute
- 3:20Speaker 2: of it at your expense. That's exactly what's happening. And
- 3:24Speaker 2: so there are entire groups of kids who were let
- 3:27Speaker 2: as stray or went the wrong way, whether because their
- 3:31Speaker 2: parents allowed them to or they had parents that actually cared.
- 3:35Speaker 2: But there were entire institutions like I don't know school
- 3:38Speaker 2: that told them, know, your parents are wrong, they don't
- 3:41Speaker 2: understand you. So we feel that you should come with
- 3:44Speaker 2: us and will help you find out who the real
- 3:47Speaker 2: you is. Let's just, as a high level for a moment,
- 3:51Speaker 2: talk about the fact that nobody knows who the hell
- 3:54Speaker 2: they are most of the time. I don't think anybody
- 3:58Speaker 2: really has a clue what they want want to do
- 4:00Speaker 2: until they're at least I don't know, and they're like
- 4:02Speaker 2: twenty to mid twenties. Right, Let's just say you're a
- 4:05Speaker 2: young person and you're like, I would love to be
- 4:07Speaker 2: a famous musician. I would love to be a football player.
- 4:09Speaker 2: I would love to be a basketball player. I would
- 4:12Speaker 2: love to be a NASCAR driver. Okay, fine, All of
- 4:15Speaker 2: those things are sort of, you know, those low lofty ideas,
- 4:18Speaker 2: and some people achieve them and some people don't. But
- 4:21Speaker 2: they're more of like those wow, shoot for the stars
- 4:23Speaker 2: kind of goals I'm talking about. Like you get in
- 4:25Speaker 2: your twenties, you're like, hmm, I thought I was going
- 4:28Speaker 2: to go into marketing, but I think instead I'm going
- 4:30Speaker 2: to do real estate. Or I thought I loved, you know,
- 4:33Speaker 2: doing computer science, but I actually think I want to be,
- 4:36Speaker 2: you know, an electrician, actual everyday jobs that you sort
- 4:40Speaker 2: of make decisions about once you get into the real world.
- 4:43Speaker 2: You're out of high school, you're out of college. Okay, fine,
- 4:46Speaker 2: these people are expecting kids, sometimes as young as seven
- 4:50Speaker 2: and eight, to know, to understand and to decide who
- 4:55Speaker 2: they are, what they are, and what they should be
- 4:58Speaker 2: for the rest of their lives. And they have absolutely
- 5:01Speaker 2: no way of giving them a path back. It's just
- 5:06Speaker 2: this way forward and that's it. Not to mention. They
- 5:11Speaker 2: make everything sound like it's so wonderful. You're going to
- 5:14Speaker 2: be a part of this group and everybody is so
- 5:17Speaker 2: accepting and so loving and you can be whatever you
- 5:20Speaker 2: want to be. And no, that's not what it is.
- 5:23Speaker 2: It's a cult. It's be exactly like us. Be different
- 5:28Speaker 2: is not different. Different is cutting off your body parts,
- 5:33Speaker 2: injecting SSRIs and other types of experimental drugs that are
- 5:37Speaker 2: going to mess with your mind, mess with your hormones,
- 5:40Speaker 2: and mess with your body. You're going to feel sick,
- 5:42Speaker 2: You're going to feel depressed, You're going to feel things
- 5:45Speaker 2: that you've never felt. Do you know why, Because your
- 5:47Speaker 2: body is not supposed to be doing what you're doing
- 5:50Speaker 2: to it. We should treat trans people and people who
- 5:55Speaker 2: go as far as the full surgeries, and people who
- 5:58Speaker 2: actually do this to their children. We should treat it
- 6:01Speaker 2: as an addiction, as somebody who has a problem to
- 6:06Speaker 2: the point that they are unable to see clearly enough
- 6:08Speaker 2: that this is child abuse. That this is an entire
- 6:12Speaker 2: industry that is now profiting off of your I guess
- 6:16Speaker 2: disinterest and your willingness to be a part of something,
- 6:20Speaker 2: even if that something is hurting you, but you're so
- 6:23Speaker 2: addicted to the attention that you can't help it. Like
- 6:26Speaker 2: I look at this person's mom as they're doing these
- 6:30Speaker 2: these interviews leading up to the Scotus case, and it
- 6:33Speaker 2: is sick. She's sitting next to this young boy who
- 6:37Speaker 2: now has you know, long blonde hair, and you know
- 6:41Speaker 2: she wants to be considered, you know, trans girl, and
- 6:45Speaker 2: she should be able to play and wants to, you know,
- 6:48Speaker 2: be on the field with the other girls. Okay, that's fine,
- 6:52Speaker 2: except you're a boy. It's I don't care how many
- 6:57Speaker 2: drugs you take, how long your hair gets, or how
- 7:00Speaker 2: many dresses you buy. You are a boy. Your mother
- 7:04Speaker 2: is a child abuser. The two of you are now
- 7:07Speaker 2: unfortunately spending valuable time of our Supreme Court talking about
- 7:12Speaker 2: the fact that you want to be a girl, but
- 7:15Speaker 2: you're not a girl. You're a boy. Maybe you would
- 7:19Speaker 2: have been a very feminine boy, maybe you would have
- 7:22Speaker 2: been a gay boy, but you're not a girl. And
- 7:26Speaker 2: no amount of drugs and operations and dresses and makeup
- 7:30Speaker 2: is ever going to make you a girl, period, end
- 7:32Speaker 2: of sentence. And the type of girl that you think
- 7:36Speaker 2: you are is one with boy's hormones and boy's abilities
- 7:41Speaker 2: and boy's broad shoulders and boy's hips. And that changes
- 7:46Speaker 2: the way that you compete. So how is that fair
- 7:50Speaker 2: to young women who were born young women. You don't
- 7:54Speaker 2: see young women going out and trying out for the NFL.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Do you know why? Because there's small shoulders, and they're
- 8:02Speaker 2: small hips, and they're smaller bones would be crushed in moments.
- 8:08Speaker 2: But for some reason, this argument never gets brought up.
- 8:12Speaker 2: It's left to the wayside, and we just look at
- 8:14Speaker 2: these men who are competing against biological women. And yes,
- 8:20Speaker 2: biology is a real thing. And although Supreme Court Justice
- 8:24Speaker 2: Katanji Jackson Brown seems to be completely and utterly confused,
- 8:27Speaker 2: and we're going to play a clip from her in
- 8:28Speaker 2: a minute, there is a real thing. It's called being
- 8:31Speaker 2: born as a boy or a girl. It's not oh, well,
- 8:34Speaker 2: this is what I was when I was born, and
- 8:35Speaker 2: this is what I am now. No, you are what
- 8:39Speaker 2: you are all the time for the rest of your life,
- 8:43Speaker 2: and the rest of us do not have to become
- 8:46Speaker 2: a part of whatever this strange play is that you
- 8:49Speaker 2: are performing in your mind. It is very, very disappointing
- 8:56Speaker 2: that this kid, pepper Jackson, I mean, what the hell
- 8:58Speaker 2: kind of name is this that you look this up
- 9:00Speaker 2: out of like the worst possible names? Are you planning
- 9:03Speaker 2: on getting on the stripper pole? I mean, just stop?
- 9:06Speaker 2: It's embarrassing and at pepper Jackson. I think it's something
- 9:10Speaker 2: that needs to be done. It's something I'm here to do.
- 9:14Speaker 2: It's important to me and it's important to other people.
- 9:15Speaker 2: So I'm here for it.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Are you?
- 9:17Speaker 2: Are you here for it? Because you know what? You
- 9:19Speaker 2: look like, an entitled, spoiled bratt whose mom, for whatever reason,
- 9:23Speaker 2: has so many problems that, instead of standing by her son,
- 9:26Speaker 2: turned him into a chick. And that's a really, really
- 9:30Speaker 2: sad thing. It's a really sad thing. This gender affirming
- 9:35Speaker 2: medical treatment is a lifelong addiction. You will never be
- 9:40Speaker 2: off of these drugs for the rest of your life.
- 9:42Speaker 2: You will have problems because that whole idea of I
- 9:45Speaker 2: feel like I'm living in somebody else's body. Now you actually?
- 9:48Speaker 4: Are? You?
- 9:50Speaker 2: Actually are? I have a feeling that someday, not too
- 9:54Speaker 2: long from now, we're going to look back at this
- 9:57Speaker 2: generation of humans and say, like, what the hell happened?
- 10:02Speaker 2: Was it in the water, was it in the COVID shots?
- 10:05Speaker 2: Was it in the air? What is wrong with these people?
- 10:09Speaker 2: It's so I just look at people and they're so
- 10:12Speaker 2: as backwards that I can't even make sense of it.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Because not only are they giving the kids SSRIs and
- 10:19Speaker 2: hormones to become one, they're putting puberty blockers in for
- 10:24Speaker 2: the other side. So it's like we're blocking one and
- 10:28Speaker 2: this Pepper Jacks, I mean, they've been doing this to
- 10:30Speaker 2: her since she was in the third grade. So this
- 10:33Speaker 2: little boy, when he was eight decides, oh, yes, you know,
- 10:38Speaker 2: I am a successful little boy at sports, and now
- 10:42Speaker 2: I want to be a girl. And now he's like, yeah,
- 10:45Speaker 2: I want to be a girl and I want to
- 10:46Speaker 2: play against other girls. What it's not. This is not
- 10:50Speaker 2: a real thing. This is It is so frustrating to
- 10:55Speaker 2: me as a mother who has four kids, and if
- 10:58Speaker 2: a girl competed against my son, and if a boy
- 11:01Speaker 2: competed against my daughter, I would be out of my mind.
- 11:05Speaker 2: It is so wrong, it is so shortsighted, and it
- 11:09Speaker 2: is so egotistical and self centered. These people when everything
- 11:15Speaker 2: changed for them. I have an idea, all of the
- 11:18Speaker 2: trans people and trans people's supporters, start your own leagues.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Please have at it. Create your own leagues and do
- 11:26Speaker 2: your own stuff. And I think that would be great.
- 11:29Speaker 2: And you guys can all compete against each other and
- 11:31Speaker 2: talk about how cool it was when you used to be.
- 11:34Speaker 2: You know, the way you were when you were born,
- 11:35Speaker 2: and how you are when you're now. Good for you,
- 11:38Speaker 2: go for it. I think that the point that they made.
- 11:44Speaker 2: You know, the ag from West Virginia made this quote.
- 11:47Speaker 2: He said, there are immutable physical and biological characteristic differences
- 11:52Speaker 2: between men and women that make men bigger, stronger, and
- 11:56Speaker 2: faster than women. If we allow biological males to play
- 12:00Speaker 2: sports against biological females, those differences erode the ability and
- 12:06Speaker 2: the places for women in these sports, which we have
- 12:08Speaker 2: fought so hard for over the last fifty years. He's
- 12:14Speaker 2: one hundred percent right. That's the problem. Everything he just
- 12:19Speaker 2: said is true. So now this little dude who decides
- 12:22Speaker 2: he wants to be a girl and his mom starts
- 12:25Speaker 2: giving him puberty blockers when he's in the third grade,
- 12:29Speaker 2: I mean that is child abuse. You're in rural West Virginia.
- 12:34Speaker 2: If you are that bored, find a hobby, take up knitting.
- 12:38Speaker 2: What is wrong with you to do this to your child.
- 12:43Speaker 2: So today, now that I'm done with that Brant, today
- 12:48Speaker 2: we get to hear from all of the Supreme Court justices.
- 12:53Speaker 2: So we have Kavanaugh, we have Roberts, we have Alito,
- 12:55Speaker 2: we have Thomas. You know, we've got Sodo, Mayor, Katanji
- 12:58Speaker 2: Jackson Brown, Amy Cony Barrett very disappointed in Amy Coney Barrett.
- 13:04Speaker 2: This woman's out there telling us all I'm a Christian
- 13:06Speaker 2: and i have children, and I'm with Trump, and I
- 13:10Speaker 2: believe you're so full of shit. You are such a letdown.
- 13:14Speaker 2: You have been a letdown from the moment you got there.
- 13:18Speaker 2: I cannot believe that we wasted a seat on you.
- 13:21Speaker 2: What a shame you are. If you wanted to be
- 13:24Speaker 2: a Democrat, just say I want to be a democrat.
- 13:27Speaker 2: I want to be a democrat. You're not fair, you're
- 13:30Speaker 2: not equitable, and today you showed us that you are
- 13:32Speaker 2: clearly in need of glasses and perhaps a science book
- 13:36Speaker 2: because you don't know the difference between men and women
- 13:41Speaker 2: and use the term trans girls. There are no trans girls.
- 13:45Speaker 2: It's men and women. If you are a Christian and
- 13:48Speaker 2: you believe in Jesus Christ, that is all there is.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Jesus Christ is the Michelangelo of this world. You don't
- 13:56Speaker 2: get to tell him what his painting is supposed to be.
- 13:59Speaker 2: It just is. Sorry, ACB. Oh, take a listener.
- 14:05Speaker 5: You're just drawing the line based on biological sex and
- 14:08Speaker 5: saying that transit girls can't be on the girls team
- 14:10Speaker 5: in an age group that's prepubescent.
- 14:15Speaker 6: The record in this case does not support the notion
- 14:17Speaker 6: that males lack an athletic advantage. At six years old.
- 14:20Speaker 6: That's about as early as the science goes from what's
- 14:22Speaker 6: in the record, and even at that age, males have
- 14:25Speaker 6: about a five percent athletic advantage over girls in most situations.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Now, oh, burn, ACB. So you want to make the
- 14:33Speaker 2: argument now that we can have boys on girls teams
- 14:36Speaker 2: if they're pre prevessant. The problem is they're built differently.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Period end of sentence. I don't know why this is
- 14:44Speaker 2: such a hard concept for people. Just look around even
- 14:50Speaker 2: the most manly of lesbians, and there are some manly lesbians.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Just take a look at Minnesota. It is rough, but
- 14:59Speaker 2: even the most mainly they are not They don't look
- 15:03Speaker 2: like dudes. They look like lesbians dressing up like dudes.
- 15:09Speaker 2: That's it. They look like they've never seen Sephora. They
- 15:12Speaker 2: don't know what it is, nor do they care. Okay,
- 15:15Speaker 2: I don't really have an issue with that. If you
- 15:17Speaker 2: want to be a lesbian and you want to dress
- 15:19Speaker 2: like a dude, knock yourself out. I've never really understood that.
- 15:22Speaker 2: I kind of feel like, if you're a woman and
- 15:24Speaker 2: you like women, why can't you be a woman that
- 15:26Speaker 2: dresses like a woman and likes women that dress like women.
- 15:29Speaker 2: And if you're a man who likes man men, I
- 15:31Speaker 2: don't know why you can't be a man who likes
- 15:33Speaker 2: men who dressed like men. I've never understood the whole
- 15:36Speaker 2: effeminate thing. I don't have an issue with gay people.
- 15:39Speaker 2: I do feel that people are born gay, and I
- 15:42Speaker 2: do feel that they can fall in love and they
- 15:44Speaker 2: can get married and have all the problems all the
- 15:45Speaker 2: rest of us marry people have. But this whole idea
- 15:49Speaker 2: of going in for surgery and giving children as young
- 15:52Speaker 2: as six, seven and eight puberty blockers, that is not
- 15:54Speaker 2: a thing, guys. That is child abuse. And then you
- 15:57Speaker 2: have this idiot like ACP going well you think that
- 16:01Speaker 2: this still matters. Yes, have you ever seen a little
- 16:04Speaker 2: boys stand next to a little girl? Sometimes the girls
- 16:07Speaker 2: are taller, but nine times out of ten they're not
- 16:10Speaker 2: as big. It's here's Justice Alito having a conversation with
- 16:15Speaker 2: one of the attorneys on the left, trying to understand
- 16:20Speaker 2: the biology conversation girls.
- 16:24Speaker 5: Yes, your honor, If it does that, then is it
- 16:27Speaker 5: not necessary for there to be for equal protection purposes?
- 16:31Speaker 5: If that is challenged under the equal protection clause, an
- 16:35Speaker 5: understanding of what it means to be a boy or
- 16:37Speaker 5: a girl, or a man oral woman? Yes, your honor,
- 16:41Speaker 5: And what is that definition for equal protection purposes? What
- 16:44Speaker 5: does what does it mean to be a boy or
- 16:47Speaker 5: a girl, or a man or a woman?
- 16:49Speaker 7: Sorry, I misenters to your question. I think that the
- 16:50Speaker 7: underlying enactment, whatever it was, the policy, the law, the
- 16:54Speaker 7: would have to we'd have to have an understanding of
- 16:55Speaker 7: how the state or the government was just understanding that
- 16:59Speaker 7: term to figure out whether or not someone was excluded.
- 17:01Speaker 7: We do not have a definition for the court, and
- 17:04Speaker 7: we don't take issue with the We're not disputing the
- 17:06Speaker 7: definition here. What we're saying is that the way it
- 17:08Speaker 7: applies in practice is to exclude birth sex males categorically
- 17:12Speaker 7: from women's teams, and that there's a subset of those
- 17:14Speaker 7: birth sex males where it doesn't make sense to do
- 17:16Speaker 7: so according to the state's own interest.
- 17:19Speaker 5: Well, how can a court determine whether there's a discrimination
- 17:25Speaker 5: on the basis of sex without knowing what sex means
- 17:28Speaker 5: for equal protection purposes?
- 17:31Speaker 2: I think here we just knowed.
- 17:32Speaker 7: We basically know that the that they've identified, pursue into
- 17:36Speaker 7: their own statue, Lindsay qualifies as a birth sex male,
- 17:40Speaker 7: and she's being excluded categorically from the women's teams as
- 17:43Speaker 7: the statute. So we're taking the statues's definitions as we
- 17:46Speaker 7: find them, and we don't dispute them.
- 17:47Speaker 2: We're what are you saying. You're calling a dude Lindsay,
- 17:54Speaker 2: and you're saying that Lindsay is a birth sex male.
- 17:58Speaker 2: It's ridiculous, so ridiculs And you're using these Kamala Harris
- 18:04Speaker 2: word salads. I mean, you're really giving her a run
- 18:07Speaker 2: for harmoney. I mean, I thought Kamala was sort of like,
- 18:09Speaker 2: hands down, the best word salad person I ever met
- 18:12Speaker 2: in my life. But you guys are winning right now,
- 18:13Speaker 2: I must say, And you're trying to explain what the
- 18:18Speaker 2: hell Lindsay is. Lindsay is not Lindsay, Lindsay is a dude,
- 18:24Speaker 2: Lindsay is Larry. Stop. The reason that Larry cannot play
- 18:29Speaker 2: is Lindsay on a girls team is because he's Larry. Period.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Under sentence, it's enough. Leave young women alone, let them
- 18:40Speaker 2: have their sports, create your own league. You're not even
- 18:44Speaker 2: able to explain what you're saying because it doesn't make sense.
- 18:48Speaker 2: You know, sometimes when you have to work really hard
- 18:50Speaker 2: to explain something and you have to try to make
- 18:54Speaker 2: it fit, and you have to try to make it
- 18:55Speaker 2: make sense, guess what, it just doesn't. I said this
- 18:58Speaker 2: to a friend today. I was like, you're gonna know
- 19:00Speaker 2: if it's right for you, because your gut is going
- 19:02Speaker 2: to tell you. If your gut is telling you, oh
- 19:06Speaker 2: guess what. I was born with all the male parts,
- 19:10Speaker 2: and I feel like, hmm, I might want to play
- 19:14Speaker 2: girlies volleyball. Well, you know what, see you in the
- 19:16Speaker 2: next life. Sorry, not sorry. Or you can go play
- 19:20Speaker 2: in a league with a bunch of other dudes who
- 19:22Speaker 2: wish that they were named Lindsay and you guys can
- 19:25Speaker 2: all play together. How about that? How about you guys
- 19:28Speaker 2: all do that together, that'd be cool. That's kind of
- 19:31Speaker 2: where we're at right now. It's enough. These girls, these
- 19:35Speaker 2: young girls, they worked their whole lives, through all of
- 19:38Speaker 2: their academic careers to perfect whatever their athletic craft is.
- 19:44Speaker 2: And then they finally get to a spot where they
- 19:46Speaker 2: can get scholarships, they can go to college, they can
- 19:49Speaker 2: play in college, maybe some of them could go to
- 19:51Speaker 2: the Olympics or go pro. And they got some dude
- 19:55Speaker 2: wearing a scrunchy and a skirt. He's like, Ohm, a girl, No, dude,
- 19:58Speaker 2: you're not. It's offensive. And then we have people sitting
- 20:03Speaker 2: in these lifetime appointments at the Supreme Court who are saying,
- 20:07Speaker 2: I cannot define what a woman is what speaking of her?
- 20:11Speaker 2: Here's Katanji Jackson Brown.
- 20:15Speaker 8: You have the overarching classification, you know, everybody has to
- 20:20Speaker 8: be play on the team that is the same as
- 20:25Speaker 8: their sex at birth. But then you have a gender
- 20:30Speaker 8: identity definition that is operating within that meaning a distinction,
- 20:35Speaker 8: meaning that for CIS ginger girls they can play consistent
- 20:41Speaker 8: with their gender identity, for transgender girls they can't.
- 20:46Speaker 3: So I think that okay. As to the part about
- 20:50Speaker 3: your ability to pass over from boy to girl. Yes,
- 20:53Speaker 3: you can go from one way, but not the other.
- 20:55Speaker 3: I want to be clear that BBJ is not challenging
- 20:57Speaker 3: that specific classification. I think that's important to start with.
- 21:01Speaker 3: But I think, if anything, that's useful evidence as to
- 21:03Speaker 3: the lack of a transgender based discrimination, because if the
- 21:07Speaker 3: legislature were just sort of unsettled by the notion of
- 21:10Speaker 3: transgender athletes, I think the answer would have been to
- 21:12Speaker 3: then bar them from that. I appreciate that.
- 21:16Speaker 4: I appreciate that. I guess I was getting at the
- 21:19Speaker 4: what I understood the Chief Justice to be trying to discuss,
- 21:23Speaker 4: which was this notion that this is really just about
- 21:27Speaker 4: the definition of who we accept that you can separate
- 21:32Speaker 4: boys and girls, and we are now looking at the
- 21:35Speaker 4: definition of a girl and we're saying only people who
- 21:38Speaker 4: were girl assigned at birth qualify.
- 21:42Speaker 2: And what in the hell girl assigned at birth? Have
- 21:46Speaker 2: you ever heard of this stuff? I'll tell you what,
- 21:49Speaker 2: Katanji Jackson Brown. How about the young women that have
- 21:52Speaker 2: been so severely and physically hurt by dudes pretending to
- 21:58Speaker 2: be girls playing in their sport, when they're concussed, when
- 22:03Speaker 2: their bones are broken, when they're punched, in the face.
- 22:06Speaker 2: We saw that in the freaking Olympics. How about that?
- 22:10Speaker 2: Can we bring that case to you? Then? Who will
- 22:13Speaker 2: you side with?
- 22:13Speaker 4: Then?
- 22:15Speaker 2: I'm just curious, is it the cis gender? By the way,
- 22:17Speaker 2: cis gender just means that you were born a dude
- 22:20Speaker 2: and you still think you're a dude, or you were
- 22:22Speaker 2: born a girl and you still think you're a girl.
- 22:23Speaker 2: That's all it means. But they have to give it
- 22:25Speaker 2: a new title because sis is the opposite of trans
- 22:30Speaker 2: what And then this guy, the Solicitor General who's arguing
- 22:34Speaker 2: for West Virginia in there, is explaining, well, you know
- 22:37Speaker 2: that's not actually what's going on here, because you know,
- 22:39Speaker 2: Pepper Jackson is not saying that they don't even disagree
- 22:42Speaker 2: with the fact that those rules matter. What they're saying
- 22:45Speaker 2: is they still want to play on the girls team.
- 22:47Speaker 2: It's like, yeah, we get it. All You guys want exceptions,
- 22:50Speaker 2: and you want to be the exception to every rule,
- 22:52Speaker 2: and you don't want the rules to apply to you,
- 22:54Speaker 2: But then you want rules to apply to you that
- 22:55Speaker 2: allow you to break the rules. That's essentially what's happening
- 22:59Speaker 2: in a nutshell. I have to pray that the Supreme
- 23:03Speaker 2: Court votes in favor of young women and starts to
- 23:06Speaker 2: do what's right. There's got to be some sort of
- 23:08Speaker 2: common sense cloud coming over us as a nation because
- 23:13Speaker 2: this shit has gone too far, way too far. And
- 23:17Speaker 2: as a mom, as a parent, I'm done. I don't
- 23:20Speaker 2: want to talk about it. There's little kids that are
- 23:23Speaker 2: being exposed to all this crap. The only thing little
- 23:25Speaker 2: kids should be worried about is what toy they're going
- 23:28Speaker 2: to play with, and if they're old enough, what homework
- 23:30Speaker 2: they have to do, and what sports they want to
- 23:32Speaker 2: do or what movie they want to watch. That's it.
- 23:33Speaker 2: They shouldn't be worried about this crap. This is all
- 23:37Speaker 2: being pushed on them by very sick, mentally deficient adults,
- 23:42Speaker 2: and I blame them one hundred percent every day, all day. Guys.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I want to thank you for listening. This is the
- 23:47Speaker 2: Rogue Recap. I am Linda McLaughlin. Please check us out
- 23:50Speaker 2: at Lindamick at Rogue Recap, roguerecap dot com. We will
- 23:54Speaker 2: see you here at tomorrow, hopefully with fantastic news about
- 23:59Speaker 2: the Supreme Court having a clue. It would be amazing.
