This past Saturday, the “Shine Your Light” talent show lit up the stage at Freedom Baptist Church, celebrating the incredible talents of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through singing, dancing, and poetry — all while raising funds to bring holiday joy to families in need. Hosted by WWAY’s Tomika Jackson and organized by Pat Wiegand, the event was a vibrant tribute to courage, creativity, and community, proving that when everyone gets a chance to shine, the whole room lights up.
