Teachers across Texas are quietly spending hundreds of millions of their own dollars on classroom supplies—more than any other state. Now, the United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County is launching the Write Start Project to help, delivering tens of thousands of dollars worth of essentials directly to educators in the North East Independent School District.
