- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, guys, what's going on and we'll be here. Just
- 0:02Speaker 1: want to give you guys a quick heads up and
- 0:04Speaker 1: an apology. I do have a new computer that I
- 0:06Speaker 1: am not testing out like this is my new computer.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Just I forgot to do.
- 0:11Speaker 2: A handful of things, meaning.
- 0:13Speaker 1: That the audio quality isn't quite where it should be.
- 0:18Speaker 1: So that's that's on me. Hopefully next week the audio
- 0:22Speaker 1: qualities back to where it normally is. I just I
- 0:25Speaker 1: forgot a lot of my presets. And I had that
- 0:27Speaker 1: computer for almost eight years, I want to say, so
- 0:33Speaker 1: I had a lot of presets in there that were
- 0:34Speaker 1: pre built in and I lost all those once I
- 0:38Speaker 1: transferred over and forgot to transfer them with me. So
- 0:41Speaker 1: hopefully everything goes back next week. Thank you all for listening,
- 0:44Speaker 1: and we'll talk to you later. Fun what food science
- 1:06Speaker 1: are we doing this week? Do we have any I
- 1:09Speaker 1: don't know, but I have a buddy who doesn't like treeting,
- 1:13Speaker 1: so you can ask about what your favorite what's your
- 1:16Speaker 1: favorite sugar treat candy is? Well, everybody knows it's you've got.
- 1:23Speaker 1: You've got three options when it comes down a trig
- 1:24Speaker 1: or treat candy. Okay, it is kit cats or recent
- 1:32Speaker 1: peanut butter cups. And I'm drawing a blank. And what
- 1:35Speaker 1: the third one is? I had it in my hand,
- 1:40Speaker 1: my choice. I like, I thought you were gonna say,
- 1:46Speaker 1: like three musketeers, which no, no, no no, but which
- 1:49Speaker 1: is like musketeer? I think I am the one, the
- 1:53Speaker 1: only the w o okay, I eat joined here by
- 1:56Speaker 1: the well. We have the normal cast of misfits. And
- 1:59Speaker 1: then I went back to being a princess. You think
- 2:03Speaker 1: he wears a crown. I think he wears like four
- 2:06Speaker 1: of them, four crowns. That's crazy. But we have almost
- 2:10Speaker 1: a normal cast cast a best fits straight out of Madrid.
- 2:14Speaker 1: We have the PhD of key Forge, doctor sheep, oh lah,
- 2:19Speaker 1: and we got the choke show dress Corps back to normal.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I didn't want you to feel too out of the norm. Yeah,
- 2:27Speaker 1: KFC is coming up, plenty of opportunities to choke it away. Thanks,
- 2:32Speaker 1: no problem. I'm gonna be ready for it. Yep, you're
- 2:35Speaker 1: gonna choke an.
- 2:35Speaker 2: All four events.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I don't know remember how there actually are. There's a bunch.
- 2:43Speaker 1: It's it's gonna be busy weekend. Yeah, and that's mentioned
- 2:47Speaker 1: the partying, partying, all the stuff and the shredding and
- 2:52Speaker 1: the shredding I'll be giving Should I give away the
- 2:55Speaker 1: shutter belt this year?
- 2:58Speaker 2: I mean, I'm tired of get carried. Let's know, how
- 3:02Speaker 2: to lug it around.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I'm tired of carrying it around. So maybe for Shredder
- 3:07Speaker 1: Worlds this year, you you can walk home with a
- 3:10Speaker 1: Archives Quarter Shredder title belt. It's like pretty sweet. I
- 3:14Speaker 1: don't know if you guys have it. Is it is awesome,
- 3:18Speaker 1: but but it's legit sheep. How is Madrid?
- 3:22Speaker 2: Madrid was pretty fantastic?
- 3:25Speaker 1: Yeah, how did you do?
- 3:28Speaker 2: I thought I was going to talk about going to Madrid?
- 3:31Speaker 1: Oh God?
- 3:31Speaker 2: I mean, I mean I made the food, the weather,
- 3:36Speaker 2: the people, all of Madrid was pretty exceptional. It's a
- 3:42Speaker 2: little weird because the city, you know, which I had
- 3:44Speaker 2: to learn history well as there that was. That was
- 3:47Speaker 2: brutal having to learn it all. But pretty much everything
- 3:51Speaker 2: major in that city has been built since the mid
- 3:53Speaker 2: fifteen hundreds, so there isn't a lot of really old
- 3:56Speaker 2: architecture there. It's all a little more modern and so
- 4:00Speaker 2: no night sentry castles or anything. But what they have
- 4:04Speaker 2: is excellent. I said, the food fantastic, And then I
- 4:08Speaker 2: went and played Keyford two. It was just outside of
- 4:11Speaker 2: town and what was a little more of like a
- 4:15Speaker 2: standard retail center, just a bunch of big box style stores.
- 4:19Speaker 2: So that was not so exciting as a tourist being
- 4:22Speaker 2: in that area.
- 4:23Speaker 1: What were you in? It looked multily. Was it a mall?
- 4:28Speaker 2: It was a mall with like an outdoor walking court
- 4:31Speaker 2: to get to any of the stores. And then there
- 4:34Speaker 2: was this overhang portion of the mall and we were
- 4:39Speaker 2: under that but it was outside like there were no doors,
- 4:43Speaker 2: there are no windows. It's just we're just like playing
- 4:46Speaker 2: in a big overhang.
- 4:50Speaker 1: So breeze came along Sagras fraud Like.
- 4:54Speaker 2: No, there was really no problem with wind because it
- 4:57Speaker 2: was the way it was tucked around the corner, the
- 5:01Speaker 2: way the mall was built. Wind was not a problem
- 5:04Speaker 2: at all. But going into day two, started the day
- 5:12Speaker 2: like it was fifty two degrees fahrenheit. So' and you're outside.
- 5:22Speaker 2: So when we went to start playing some finals and stuff,
- 5:25Speaker 2: it was prettyuly and since.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Celsius you were cooking. Yeah, no, wow.
- 5:33Speaker 2: But they hadn't They had good numbers. They had eighty
- 5:36Speaker 2: six tickets sold and set when you say seventy four
- 5:40Speaker 2: played an ARCon sixty six was played and sealed.
- 5:43Speaker 1: How many Alliance.
- 5:45Speaker 2: There was forty? But they did a little bit of
- 5:47Speaker 2: a weird thing. They ran like two and a half
- 5:50Speaker 2: rounds of ARCon before Alliance started, so you could drop
- 5:54Speaker 2: from ARCon and go join an Alliance. So a lot
- 5:58Speaker 2: of people went out or one one, and there's even
- 6:01Speaker 2: a few people who were two oh in ARCon and
- 6:05Speaker 2: dropped to go over and play Alliance, because yeah, that
- 6:08Speaker 2: was always their intent was to play Alliance. But like,
- 6:11Speaker 2: what else am I gonna do for the next two
- 6:12Speaker 2: hours except people's ARCon days.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Sounds like an Arcons corner thing to do.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Yeah, and I had a really good Alliance deck with
- 6:27Speaker 2: me to play that I had borrowed from Sydney. Uh
- 6:32Speaker 2: also had Fraud, but with gear Song winning in Italy,
- 6:35Speaker 2: I had to take the chance of fraud winning another
- 6:38Speaker 2: vault tour too, you know, continue to stack the what
- 6:43Speaker 2: deck has the most fault tours?
- 6:45Speaker 1: So did you win?
- 6:46Speaker 2: Still has the most fault I did not win. I
- 6:49Speaker 2: took second, and the deck I lost to is some
- 6:53Speaker 2: g R bull crap.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Yay, g R bull crap double abduction double wins.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Yeah, and lots of ways to make it happen. And
- 7:07Speaker 2: it was like, it's like, I think the DC is
- 7:10Speaker 2: winning on an average of like turn six or seven
- 7:14Speaker 2: or something, and it is. It's just brutal.
- 7:19Speaker 1: So you're two or two one.
- 7:22Speaker 2: In the finals. In the finals, I was, I was
- 7:26Speaker 2: real close on one game, but no, I lost two
- 7:29Speaker 2: games in a row. No.
- 7:32Speaker 1: No, he didn't get asked. He got grd. You got
- 7:38Speaker 1: I got gerd by a pastor's ass. Oh wow, interesting, Yeah,
- 7:45Speaker 1: all right, good times. Well, congratulations to one doctor Sheep
- 7:49Speaker 1: taking second in a vault tour. We're gonna call you.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Can we call you Lilsey? Could be your name now
- 7:57Speaker 1: because you are like one of two people was traveled
- 8:00Speaker 1: overseas for a vault tour. I'm just saying you're like
- 8:07Speaker 1: one of two people we know. I think Chase Soden.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Yeah. Maybe. So congratulations to Harmed who won ARCon with
- 8:16Speaker 2: pastor ass, which that deck has a little bit of
- 8:19Speaker 2: story because it was opened and sealed at Florence and
- 8:25Speaker 2: at once sealed and then it got played in ARCon
- 8:31Speaker 2: and took top four in ARCN with a different player,
- 8:35Speaker 2: and then it's pod got used an alliance and made
- 8:38Speaker 2: top cut an alliance that we can do, I believe,
- 8:42Speaker 2: and then they brought it here to Madrid and it
- 8:45Speaker 2: won in Madrid. So this like this deck has only
- 8:48Speaker 2: been open for a little while and it's almost that
- 8:50Speaker 2: deck I talked about where it's like one deck to
- 8:52Speaker 2: rule them all, wins every format. It's a monster. And
- 8:59Speaker 2: then actually Harm's good friend who was traveling with, which
- 9:02Speaker 2: was Lord Judo, he won sealed, so the Netherlands. They're
- 9:06Speaker 2: both from the Netherlands. They came down and they conquered Spain.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Nice.
- 9:11Speaker 2: But Adrian, who's running a triple battle fleet, doubled in
- 9:17Speaker 2: the pen Seed style deck, which is actually what I'd
- 9:20Speaker 2: brought with me as well one alliance, and he was
- 9:24Speaker 2: with Team beer Forge, which if you come on the
- 9:26Speaker 2: discords and stuff, they made some beer Forge tokens amber
- 9:29Speaker 2: tillions with beer. Yeah, they're really really.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Nice, really cool they are.
- 9:34Speaker 2: They are actually Team beer Forge is a Spanish team.
- 9:37Speaker 2: They're all great. All the people there were really fantastic.
- 9:41Speaker 2: It was good to see them take one of their formats.
- 9:43Speaker 1: And we had a wild e walk up here. Communities
- 9:50Speaker 1: all right here he is, so all the misfits are
- 9:53Speaker 1: out on the Simons, I mean, sheep and I just
- 9:56Speaker 1: keep getting disconnected.
- 9:57Speaker 2: He was over a Madrid so and I am halloweening
- 10:05Speaker 2: it up?
- 10:08Speaker 1: Is it? Is it still hurricaning? No, I don't know what.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I don't know what the verb for hurricane would be.
- 10:18Speaker 1: I mean that was enough.
- 10:20Speaker 2: It's warm.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I mean it's nine thirty nine forty at nights and
- 10:24Speaker 1: it's still sitting at roughly eighty seven degrees.
- 10:27Speaker 2: So it's.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Does go to the east coast time zone, doesn't it? Yeah? Yeah,
- 10:33Speaker 1: it's east coast yep. Alrighty, Well, with that being said,
- 10:37Speaker 1: it's time to go through some of these cards, a
- 10:41Speaker 1: handful of cards to go through to well, I mean cheap.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Everything that we said last week was perfect and correct,
- 10:49Speaker 1: right in terms of our reading. Absolutely.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Now, as it turns out, you guys are really bad
- 10:54Speaker 2: at this.
- 10:55Speaker 1: What are you talking about?
- 10:55Speaker 2: And need help?
- 10:57Speaker 1: We're amazing, amazing. You're not gonna be like one of
- 11:02Speaker 1: those folks coming on the discord trying to defend dat.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Are you?
- 11:06Speaker 2: Now? Now? That card is mid?
- 11:09Speaker 1: Yeah? Mid, I think being generous.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Yeah, well, you know, my kids teaching me new words
- 11:18Speaker 2: using using these words.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Mid. Mid means like middle, like middle of the road.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Yeah, because it's like a three.
- 11:26Speaker 1: They're trying to connect with the youth there three.
- 11:28Speaker 2: The efficiency that the card has with the Amber pip
- 11:32Speaker 2: is better than you guys are giving it credit for.
- 11:35Speaker 2: But it is not a great card.
- 11:38Speaker 1: So two like it only gives you one card worth
- 11:42Speaker 1: the efficiency.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Which is quite a bit because it's efficiency in every house, right,
- 11:49Speaker 2: it doesn't matter, like when it's in your hand, you
- 11:51Speaker 2: just get to get rid of it and then play
- 11:53Speaker 2: everything else.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Fine, fine, it's right, it's what it's what.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Yeah. Otherwise, to follow up on your stuff, you guys
- 12:07Speaker 2: gave a Slayer a two in like that was it
- 12:09Speaker 2: was abysmal. That card is absolutely abysmal. It's a one
- 12:14Speaker 2: zero zero kind of card. It's it's terrible because you
- 12:19Speaker 2: can't play at turn one, you can't play it against
- 12:21Speaker 2: empty board. It's just trash. It's my opinion of Slayer.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Right.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Well, then Wookie doesn't like anything but clipped the one
- 12:32Speaker 2: where you're in a purging a card, yeah, or messing
- 12:35Speaker 2: with there. That is that is a five in current
- 12:38Speaker 2: meta for sure. That is that is what card you're like,
- 12:44Speaker 2: it's a two, it's a three. It's still good. Yeah, Yeah,
- 12:53Speaker 2: and vapor imp after having played that card. That card's
- 12:58Speaker 2: pretty strong. Uh so, I say that's like a four,
- 13:00Speaker 2: and you guys were in like the twos and threes
- 13:02Speaker 2: on it, and Bookie again was going on about, oh,
- 13:05Speaker 2: it's a reep effect. It's too slow. But if it
- 13:08Speaker 2: lands and with a rise, like with a rise you
- 13:13Speaker 2: can stay in dis forever with babys and and to
- 13:17Speaker 2: lock them out of stuff, it's pretty amazing. It works
- 13:21Speaker 2: quite well.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I go four on that says here, I put four,
- 13:28Speaker 1: ID it.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Doesn't It doesn't matter that it's random. It's most likely
- 13:32Speaker 2: Thei're hitting Creature or Action and taking either one of
- 13:35Speaker 2: those away are two of the strongest effects on this game. Scrambler,
- 13:39Speaker 2: Storm and lifeboard are too amazingly strong effects, and this
- 13:44Speaker 2: card is doing them and possibly doing both, which is
- 13:47Speaker 2: just basically turn locking. Okay, it's really strong.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Okay, I don't see it surviving, but okay.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Well, let's if you can deal with it multiple turns
- 14:01Speaker 2: in a role and I arise it and then I'm
- 14:03Speaker 2: blocking you by not letting you play cards. It's plenty strong,
- 14:08Speaker 2: all right.
- 14:08Speaker 1: I think the discard pips elevate it, so the type
- 14:12Speaker 1: keep trying to push forward, push forward, all right, go
- 14:16Speaker 1: into the sticky Ikey of the Ikey of the equadon.
- 14:20Speaker 1: All right, and we're going to start out as we
- 14:22Speaker 1: normally do with our raars, Banter and games. It's an
- 14:27Speaker 1: action play. Each player reveals a random card from their
- 14:31Speaker 1: hand or archives. Each player gains one umber for each
- 14:35Speaker 1: bonus icon on the revealed card, Destroy each creature that
- 14:39Speaker 1: shares a house with at least one of the revealed cards.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Discard the revealed cards. It is barter in games, and
- 14:50Speaker 1: it's it's for each ember bonus icon, not not any
- 14:54Speaker 1: bonus yicon. This is.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Of a lot of words.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Yeah, it really is. I'm like tired of reading by
- 15:03Speaker 1: the time I get to the end of it. And
- 15:04Speaker 1: it's a lot. So we're going to reveal a card
- 15:08Speaker 1: from our hand or archives at random. Uh huh random?
- 15:13Speaker 2: Okay, yeah that's normal.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Well, I mean so we got a little bit of
- 15:18Speaker 1: unknown here. All right.
- 15:19Speaker 2: This card is immediately going to get played wrong by
- 15:23Speaker 2: many players because it says each player reveals and like
- 15:27Speaker 2: the non active player just the way.
- 15:30Speaker 1: The side right, nor the active player the active player gets,
- 15:36Speaker 1: but just the way this card reads. It's like the
- 15:39Speaker 1: non active player is going to decide if it's their
- 15:41Speaker 1: hand or their archives, right, That's that's just.
- 15:44Speaker 2: The way the card natively reads. Like if you didn't
- 15:47Speaker 2: understand the core concept of keyboards where the active player
- 15:52Speaker 2: makes all decisions, and you just read this, you would
- 15:56Speaker 2: think that each player is going to make the decision
- 15:59Speaker 2: and people are going to play this wrong because people
- 16:02Speaker 2: get this stuff wrong in keyfod all the time. Yep,
- 16:05Speaker 2: all at the time. But yeah, so this discard's medium
- 16:10Speaker 2: strength archive. Hey, right, and you know you often know
- 16:14Speaker 2: what went into the archives, so the way that it
- 16:17Speaker 2: destroys creatures you kind of know if you want to
- 16:19Speaker 2: go there or not. And because it does discard the card,
- 16:22Speaker 2: it's a lot of words and then you've got to
- 16:24Speaker 2: remember to discard it at the bottom.
- 16:27Speaker 1: It's awkward, like sometimes you're like, well, but I don't
- 16:31Speaker 1: want to kill my own guys, right, so I can't
- 16:36Speaker 1: play it or.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's you know what the the other thing
- 16:40Speaker 2: is thinking with this is like the way the flow
- 16:44Speaker 2: of the game and keyfod draphmorks is like I play
- 16:46Speaker 2: a four card dis turn or whatever. I put down
- 16:48Speaker 2: my two vapor MPs, I glare at Wookie, going how
- 16:52Speaker 2: I'm going to lock you out, and then he goes
- 16:53Speaker 2: and plays harder and games going like, I hope I
- 16:57Speaker 2: hit a discard, But because I just played discs, it's unlikely,
- 17:01Speaker 2: you know, it's less likely I have a bunch of
- 17:02Speaker 2: dis in my hand and.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Your ever be playing bartering games because Wookie will not
- 17:08Speaker 1: be playing a deck that comes remembrous. Guys, However, what
- 17:13Speaker 1: not in a tournament unless it's sealed? We don't know yet,
- 17:20Speaker 1: but yeah, let's let's let's keep going, all right, So
- 17:24Speaker 1: then we both gain ember for each ball? Are we
- 17:26Speaker 1: both gaining ember for each bonus ember icon on on
- 17:30Speaker 1: the revealed card from their revealed card their revealed card?
- 17:37Speaker 1: And then we destroy each creature that shares a house
- 17:39Speaker 1: with at least one of the revealed cards, and we
- 17:44Speaker 1: just card the cards revealed.
- 17:48Speaker 2: This is like there's like three other cards all slammed together.
- 17:53Speaker 1: What is the one? I can't remember? It's a it's
- 17:55Speaker 1: a star.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Yes, the war Yeah, has the end of the warp
- 18:00Speaker 2: style effect. Okay, well, rating this thing, it's luck, a
- 18:06Speaker 2: little bit of luck base, but it can impact like I'm.
- 18:11Speaker 1: This is not I'm gonna too because you can't count
- 18:15Speaker 1: on it, right, You can't count on it to do
- 18:17Speaker 1: the thing you need to do, unless you're like, they
- 18:19Speaker 1: have one card in their archive and I really need
- 18:22Speaker 1: to get rid of it. Yeah, I think I hear you,
- 18:25Speaker 1: but I think competitively this might be a one like
- 18:28Speaker 1: I don't think I actually.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Want this in my deck. Yeah, because there you're right,
- 18:34Speaker 2: there are gonna be turns where it's like I already
- 18:35Speaker 2: have my brob guard board established and I'm taking an
- 18:39Speaker 2: echo don turn because I just have to turn cards
- 18:41Speaker 2: where it's like I have brobnarn hands, so I can't
- 18:45Speaker 2: play this. I don't have archives. I suppose there is
- 18:51Speaker 2: the choice on this card to always pick your empty archives,
- 18:56Speaker 2: like I'm going to reveal an archive card, Oh, I
- 18:59Speaker 2: don't have any. Don't reveal anything.
- 19:01Speaker 1: That is a question. If I don't have an archive,
- 19:03Speaker 1: can I choose an archive?
- 19:04Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you can absolutely choose the non effective part
- 19:08Speaker 2: of a choice. So I guess it could be a
- 19:12Speaker 2: little better and that it helps it out a little bit,
- 19:14Speaker 2: but it's still just I don't like it, and it's
- 19:16Speaker 2: another place where players will not play it as effectively
- 19:20Speaker 2: because they won't because.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Don't forget you can choose your own empty archive.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Yeah, because it's just not a natural way to think
- 19:29Speaker 2: about this card. Yeah, but yeah, one or two whatever,
- 19:33Speaker 2: it's it's not it is way too.
- 19:37Speaker 1: I was at a one and then I went to
- 19:39Speaker 1: a two, and then I went back down to a one. Yeah,
- 19:43Speaker 1: I'm I'm I'm on the fence. So I think we
- 19:46Speaker 1: can give it a one for now. That's fine.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Like, we like giving cards and as ones, so it's
- 19:54Speaker 2: one of my.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Favorite things to do. Game Changer, he's a three power,
- 19:59Speaker 1: get a rook and lists. He will enhance your deck
- 20:02Speaker 1: with two sticky pips.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Sticky.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Now, it didn't didn't work, Okay, Each friendly equn creature
- 20:16Speaker 1: cannot reap and gains action steal one. So we love
- 20:25Speaker 1: giving to pips, right, that's great.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Those are fine.
- 20:31Speaker 1: The yeah you can. So anytime you see cannot reap,
- 20:38Speaker 1: you should see flashing danger lights. But it is action
- 20:42Speaker 1: steal one. However, Action steal one's pretty good. If my
- 20:46Speaker 1: opponent does not have any pips or any Ember to
- 20:51Speaker 1: speak of, he's a disc card, right, or do I
- 20:54Speaker 1: get myselff done, play him and hope for the best. Yeah,
- 20:58Speaker 1: I mean, if they have Ember, when you play it,
- 21:02Speaker 1: you action steal comes back around to you. They have no, Ember,
- 21:07Speaker 1: Now I got to kill them. You fight to kill
- 21:10Speaker 1: them three Sometimes Hey, I always discard it, but you
- 21:16Speaker 1: know that's a.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Oh oh nice. He's got a a Vader quote on him.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Does he have altered the game? Pray don't know to
- 21:29Speaker 1: let further. Oh yeah, he sure does. I was thinking
- 21:32Speaker 1: about that at work the other day. I was like,
- 21:33Speaker 1: I should just use this quote.
- 21:38Speaker 2: I don't know, I'm not there.
- 21:41Speaker 1: There's another artifact we're gonna hit on a little later
- 21:44Speaker 1: that has a similar effect, and I'm I'm not in
- 21:46Speaker 1: love with this.
- 21:51Speaker 2: So you're paying for the house enhancements. That's the only thing.
- 21:55Speaker 2: We're giving points for it.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Because two house enhancements pretty good and.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Full of actions. Steal one at the right time of
- 22:02Speaker 2: the game is going to be really strong. But you're, yeah,
- 22:05Speaker 2: same thing. There will be points where it's just bad,
- 22:07Speaker 2: which you to play well, or it just forces you
- 22:11Speaker 2: to play your other house and you can't play board
- 22:13Speaker 2: as effectively, which is bad. So I think.
- 22:18Speaker 1: It's I was gonna give it as three. No, I
- 22:22Speaker 1: give it a four because like double enhans and just
- 22:26Speaker 1: discard it half the time is still a four value
- 22:28Speaker 1: to me.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Really, I think it's a three as well.
- 22:33Speaker 1: It just seems very middle of the road. I mean,
- 22:36Speaker 1: I mean it's pretty powerful effect sometimes negatively, like double
- 22:40Speaker 1: one Hants is cool at all, but double one Hans
- 22:42Speaker 1: I look at it many times. I'm like, I'm not
- 22:45Speaker 1: playing him.
- 22:47Speaker 2: I don't think it's gonna be that much.
- 22:49Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, you can always play him at
- 22:52Speaker 1: the end, right, so I can then play the game changer, yep,
- 22:58Speaker 1: which isn't really what you want, right. What you want
- 23:01Speaker 1: to have is slap them down steal four, right, I mean, honestly, Yeah,
- 23:09Speaker 1: his upside is pretty decent.
- 23:13Speaker 2: I just already and use an equinn I.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Don't believe so I don't remember now.
- 23:21Speaker 2: I could see it becoming four value, but it would
- 23:25Speaker 2: take games.
- 23:28Speaker 1: I mean, there there is a world where he just
- 23:31Speaker 1: dies too. I mean, a double enhanced blank action is
- 23:40Speaker 1: pretty solid, and it can just be that. I'm cool
- 23:45Speaker 1: with the three for now. I just I can't get
- 23:49Speaker 1: to four, like I just by default four to six automatically.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Damn has had way more success playing decks with enhancements
- 23:59Speaker 2: because the house enhanced. But that I've been playing with
- 24:01Speaker 2: a Damn near meaningless.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm like, you need a little momentum so I
- 24:07Speaker 1: think I think it rams like.
- 24:10Speaker 2: I haven't played enough as to feel like the house
- 24:13Speaker 2: enhancements are making a difference.
- 24:16Speaker 1: And I think the biggest thing too is house enhancement
- 24:19Speaker 1: is there's so few of them. Getting a deck with
- 24:24Speaker 1: them in there is hitting that's not that hard. There's
- 24:28Speaker 1: so few cards on the set. It's not that hard.
- 24:30Speaker 1: But like most I mean, I've only opened a handful
- 24:34Speaker 1: of as at this point and played a handful of as,
- 24:36Speaker 1: and at the same time, like every deck I've gotten
- 24:39Speaker 1: is like, oh it has one and like you know
- 24:42Speaker 1: what I mean, Like this is.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Also true for me.
- 24:46Speaker 1: I haven't hit a critical number to to do anything. See,
- 24:54Speaker 1: but you're talking it's two cards now like house enhancement, Arise,
- 24:58Speaker 1: House ENHANSO, Crystal Hive, Like that could be fine, you
- 25:02Speaker 1: can also not. I mean, I've gotten one of the
- 25:05Speaker 1: that I've been messing with. I've got enhancement on the
- 25:10Speaker 1: de Escalate, which is really helpful to have a board
- 25:13Speaker 1: clear in two houses. I feel like the start to
- 25:16Speaker 1: compete with Grim Reminders really needed more cards with house enhancements,
- 25:21Speaker 1: But then it just becomes a whole play, your entire
- 25:23Speaker 1: play everything. Well, I mean, yeah, so so if you
- 25:27Speaker 1: put too many in then I don't long to card
- 25:31Speaker 1: per houses enough. Well maybe I just there is some
- 25:37Speaker 1: point at which on the long tail where you get
- 25:40Speaker 1: double are.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Like, I just can always play six cards.
- 25:45Speaker 1: JM. We don't go in halves, We've it's got to
- 25:49Speaker 1: be a whole number. Yeah, smart enough for we did
- 25:55Speaker 1: not set the sessions. So yeah, sculling PhD is not
- 26:02Speaker 1: in fractions. No, he's a PhD in bullshit, I am
- 26:06Speaker 1: coughingly crazy sculling Buzz. He has a five power beast
- 26:13Speaker 1: play slash. After reap, you may put a creature from
- 26:16Speaker 1: your hand face up under scull and buzz destroyed. Put
- 26:21Speaker 1: each creature under scull and buzz into play under your control.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Put sculling Buzz at the top of your neck, kind
- 26:30Speaker 1: of like a jar, Google type ass type feel like
- 26:34Speaker 1: a less good dark Google.
- 26:36Speaker 2: How is this a beast and not a vehicle?
- 26:40Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 26:42Speaker 2: This is a freaking dune ornithopt Yeah.
- 26:46Speaker 1: I mean, don't all of your bugs have seats in
- 26:49Speaker 1: the back? Oh? Yeah they do. You're right, fort totally right.
- 26:53Speaker 1: I don't know. Wasn't in charge because even his eyes
- 26:58Speaker 1: look like they're big enough to be cockpit pods.
- 27:02Speaker 2: What did you give dabt?
- 27:05Speaker 1: Wait? What what what did sheep give dat d a
- 27:09Speaker 1: t DBT three? You gave it a three? So this
- 27:12Speaker 1: is an automatic three? Right?
- 27:14Speaker 2: This is better than a three this cards, I know.
- 27:16Speaker 1: I'm just saying it's an automatic three, right, like period,
- 27:19Speaker 1: like we can go up from here, but it's automatic three. Sure, Okay,
- 27:24Speaker 1: just wondering.
- 27:27Speaker 2: The hand efficiency thing is always really great.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Creature from hand right automatically, So I'm automatically getting efficiency
- 27:35Speaker 1: out of it. It is a big creature. It is meaty, yeah,
- 27:42Speaker 1: but doesn't quite kill brio. No. No, it's important. So
- 27:49Speaker 1: it does turn it does turn off play effects for
- 27:52Speaker 1: the creatures you're putting under it.
- 27:53Speaker 2: But I still think that's yeah, efficiency that can return.
- 28:00Speaker 2: The worst part is that it goes to the top
- 28:02Speaker 2: of your deck sometimes that's probably a little frustrating.
- 28:07Speaker 1: It probably depends on if you If you want to
- 28:10Speaker 1: keep going into Equaron, then it's actually good. If you don't,
- 28:15Speaker 1: then it's it's not. So it's kind of deck tendent.
- 28:21Speaker 1: I think. Well, so, I so I was trying to
- 28:25Speaker 1: figure out, like is there some combo, like is there
- 28:28Speaker 1: some card some creature where you know you can put
- 28:34Speaker 1: it under hair and you can like get an outsized
- 28:38Speaker 1: good impact for this uh destroyed effect. Are you trying
- 28:42Speaker 1: to like have a beat in the play. Yeah, that's
- 28:45Speaker 1: what I was trying to figure out. Not options except
- 28:49Speaker 1: all the crappy sky ships, the and the you don't
- 28:53Speaker 1: have to exalt them. Yeah, you don't do exalt the
- 28:56Speaker 1: sky ships. There you go. So there's that. So that
- 29:00Speaker 1: makes them I guess like you might actually put that
- 29:05Speaker 1: has a bad put into play. So I think Ben
- 29:11Speaker 1: the monkey is going to be pumped because he's like
- 29:19Speaker 1: I got zero or boom dragon. That's not that's not
- 29:23Speaker 1: bad cross cross house double? Where we are?
- 29:27Speaker 2: But what is it? How strong is it? I think yeah?
- 29:31Speaker 2: The four?
- 29:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I think four. I think for hand efficiency, uh
- 29:36Speaker 1: there should be you know, if we were still on
- 29:41Speaker 1: achievement tracker days, I would have said, put a Khalifi
- 29:44Speaker 1: dragon into play. When you have no Ember with the
- 29:47Speaker 1: skull and buzz and you're putting all sorts of like
- 29:50Speaker 1: stipulate like you have to also have no Ember, I
- 29:53Speaker 1: would just say, I don't know, how about less than
- 29:57Speaker 1: seven when you couldn't wise legally play it? Now, all right,
- 30:03Speaker 1: let's go to three sheets to the wind. It's an
- 30:07Speaker 1: as the wind three sheeps in the wind. I see
- 30:11Speaker 1: no sheeps in this art. Play your opponent draws three cards,
- 30:17Speaker 1: discard a random card from their hand, put a random
- 30:20Speaker 1: card from their hand on the top of their deck,
- 30:22Speaker 1: and purge a random card from their hand. Ah, here's
- 30:30Speaker 1: a herd.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, weird anti handcrafting card.
- 30:36Speaker 1: This is hand disruption. But but you draw first, which
- 30:41Speaker 1: is right. You do draw the three first, so like however,
- 30:44Speaker 1: combo decks. I mean, this is a lot of luck, right,
- 30:48Speaker 1: but I am taking three cards at random from your hand.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Functionally, it's a weird purge one.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I mean it is a random purge which
- 31:01Speaker 1: can cripple a deck. No.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Actually, kind of sad not to have an amber fifth here.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't see anywhere where you I don't know
- 31:13Speaker 1: many I can't think of many effects in this game
- 31:15Speaker 1: where you wouldn't play this, right, but like the purge, well,
- 31:24Speaker 1: the purge, the discard, and the one to the top.
- 31:30Speaker 1: So it's a.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Little bit like Reckless though, where sometimes you might just
- 31:35Speaker 2: make their hand better.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, but it doesn't comble break as much as Reckless,
- 31:41Speaker 1: and it doesn't have the ember and it doesn't let
- 31:43Speaker 1: you cycle into more brobnar or more equoed on here.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Oh no, it is definitely not don't. I don't like
- 31:49Speaker 2: this card much.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like a one in nine chance to purge
- 31:53Speaker 1: the card that you want to purge.
- 31:57Speaker 2: I like this better than barter and game games, but
- 32:00Speaker 2: not much. I could. I could see making this garbage one.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I had those. Is worse than burding games. I
- 32:11Speaker 1: guess it's a purge for it's a one or a two.
- 32:15Speaker 2: I mean, well, like we like clipped wings, but it
- 32:17Speaker 2: also has an amber pip and flexibility. This is just random.
- 32:21Speaker 2: This purge one card from hand, which is a random yeah, like, yeah,
- 32:27Speaker 2: well that's all purge guards generally, So you know, two
- 32:30Speaker 2: is fine, but.
- 32:33Speaker 1: It's probably a two. I like it better at one.
- 32:39Speaker 1: I could easily go that way. The only thing that's
- 32:46Speaker 1: holding me back from saying one is like, I don't
- 32:49Speaker 1: like sheep said, I don't see a situation where I
- 32:50Speaker 1: don't play this. Yeah, just just to see what happens, right, Yeah,
- 32:57Speaker 1: it's fair so one all right, Emberwind now speaking of
- 33:06Speaker 1: no go ahead number wind five power ship, I mean
- 33:11Speaker 1: ship yeap elusive verse. Its all play you're gonna exalt
- 33:17Speaker 1: it three times? Who did this? Like? Who hurt? Whoever
- 33:21Speaker 1: designed this card? All right, after reap, we'll move one
- 33:25Speaker 1: umber from ember Wind to your pool.
- 33:30Speaker 2: This and this is gonna be linked to too bad upgrades.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Oh yes, I'm sorry. Maybe good, I'm sorry. I forget
- 33:37Speaker 1: that each ship is linked to too So this is
- 33:40Speaker 1: linked to suggestion box and requisition writ. Right, so Requisition
- 33:47Speaker 1: writ this creature gains after rep pay your opponent Ember.
- 33:50Speaker 1: If you do take control of an enemy creature and
- 33:54Speaker 1: then suggestion box, this creature gains after reap. Look at
- 33:57Speaker 1: the top five five cards of your deck. Add one
- 34:01Speaker 1: to your hand, discard the others.
- 34:04Speaker 2: Those are actually both okay cards.
- 34:06Speaker 1: I don't mind the suggestion box.
- 34:09Speaker 2: No amber pips on either of them.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Requisition were writ in the right moment. It's fine, But
- 34:19Speaker 1: there are there's going to be times where you cannot
- 34:22Speaker 1: use the creature that this is attached to.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Oh no, there are going to be times when your
- 34:26Speaker 2: opponent doesn't have a creature.
- 34:29Speaker 1: And you pay him, and you pay them one umber
- 34:32Speaker 1: for nothing. Oh so that card is one.
- 34:40Speaker 2: No, No, I mean taking control creatures is still pretty strong.
- 34:44Speaker 2: That card's probably a two or three suggestion boxes, probably
- 34:48Speaker 2: a three.
- 34:49Speaker 1: I don't mind suggestion three on suggestion box. I think
- 34:53Speaker 1: it comes at the ship. Does it not get down
- 34:55Speaker 1: to a two? No, I don't want to ship, and
- 34:58Speaker 1: I don't want to ship down to the ships.
- 35:00Speaker 2: I want as a combo. This is a set of
- 35:03Speaker 2: two to two value cards.
- 35:06Speaker 1: I mean the ship itself was a zero, right because
- 35:08Speaker 1: you always discarded? Can we give that.
- 35:14Speaker 2: You put it out of your skull and buzz sure
- 35:19Speaker 2: were back?
- 35:20Speaker 1: Yeah? Why not?
- 35:21Speaker 2: Like now it sucks? Yeah, they're like one to two value.
- 35:26Speaker 2: I mean, like the fact that you have to have
- 35:27Speaker 2: this junk to get the mediocre to sort of good
- 35:32Speaker 2: upgrades that then have to land on a creature and
- 35:36Speaker 2: to be used. And you know how all action based
- 35:40Speaker 2: or re based upgrades go. Like it turns creatures into
- 35:43Speaker 2: witches and they get toasted for it.
- 35:45Speaker 1: So yeah, JM wants us to give the ship of
- 35:48Speaker 1: minus one. I don't think we do negative numbers. Yeah,
- 35:52Speaker 1: we don't know what those are. The uh I have
- 35:58Speaker 1: a theory. By the way, So play exalt ever win
- 36:06Speaker 1: three times? Right, exalt this card three times. I think
- 36:11Speaker 1: that was the original text of Strato Flight, and they
- 36:16Speaker 1: just like it's too complicated. We'll just write play exalt
- 36:19Speaker 1: three times flight. Nobody knows, Okay.
- 36:30Speaker 2: It always not not enjoyed, not enjoyed or over enjoyed.
- 36:34Speaker 2: That they had to take it away from us.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Taken away, that's what it was. So I think strato
- 36:40Speaker 1: flight is exalt your card three times. I think that's
- 36:43Speaker 1: what the.
- 36:45Speaker 2: There's a bunch of cards with that garbage on it.
- 36:47Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I'm going with.
- 36:49Speaker 2: Yeah, And the fact that the ship is versatile and
- 36:53Speaker 2: elusive makes it actually a little bit sick and tempting.
- 36:58Speaker 1: But damn which is which is a trap? But I
- 37:05Speaker 1: could reap with that next turd and still be uh negative.
- 37:09Speaker 1: It's that maybe if I go again to the positive. Like,
- 37:16Speaker 1: I don't know again, all the ships, I don't know
- 37:18Speaker 1: how often you get any of the umber off of them.
- 37:21Speaker 1: I just don't, all, right, change agent four power one armor,
- 37:28Speaker 1: get a rook merchant after fight after reap, for each
- 37:32Speaker 1: card in your opport hand in excess of five, they
- 37:35Speaker 1: lose one. So often just after fight after rape, lose one.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Occasionally lose a bunch. This is an uncommon for one
- 37:49Speaker 1: real with the marsh Shenanigans, even though most of the Marsh, Shenanigans.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Well, and the Winds of Death hold your hands, Shenanigans.
- 37:57Speaker 2: It doesn't. Actually, what's the key abduction from?
- 38:00Speaker 1: Nobody playing with Winds of Death is actually looking to
- 38:03Speaker 1: win via just board and we're just fort m right.
- 38:08Speaker 1: I'm just looking to key abduct four times. Please. Well,
- 38:14Speaker 1: I mean I don't.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Show card mostly just reads as.
- 38:27Speaker 1: A after fight after re option, and so it's a three.
- 38:34Speaker 2: What is a groc of three?
- 38:37Speaker 1: Four? No, really, I don't know I made that up.
- 38:43Speaker 2: I mean this is a three or four? I don't.
- 38:48Speaker 1: I mean it is at least after fight or after
- 38:51Speaker 1: reap lose one. It's not an after fight. It's an
- 38:55Speaker 1: after reap. You have the option, so after I gained,
- 39:02Speaker 1: and that's a two member swing.
- 39:04Speaker 2: I don't. I don't think this is farking games. I
- 39:07Speaker 2: think it's a three.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's got the armor which continuously regenerates three
- 39:14Speaker 1: point five. It is cog Miller. This guy's interesting three
- 39:21Speaker 1: power for armor robot. After fight, you may destroying artifact
- 39:25Speaker 1: if you do. Its owner archives a random card from
- 39:29Speaker 1: their hand. M I mean he's likely to live, it
- 39:37Speaker 1: is It is a may effact has a slight downside.
- 39:44Speaker 2: This is basically more or less the exact same value
- 39:48Speaker 2: as russ Nor, except it's more likely to actually hit
- 39:51Speaker 2: right because died a lot and then didn't get to
- 39:55Speaker 2: destroy an artifact.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Russ Nar was a two. I think this is I
- 40:01Speaker 1: think this is a little better.
- 40:03Speaker 2: It's very sticky. You can read three four a little
- 40:07Speaker 2: a little hard to crack. Yeah, like, but I don't
- 40:10Speaker 2: know if it's actually that much better than a rust.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Now, I'll take it over the Rustnar for sure.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Hm, I would believe. I would just mark it the
- 40:21Speaker 2: same as a rust. Now.
- 40:23Speaker 1: I'm kind of in the same boat because I get
- 40:28Speaker 1: the I get the big because it is you can
- 40:31Speaker 1: destroy an artifact. But if you do, you're giving your
- 40:33Speaker 1: opponent efficiency. I mean it is random, I guess, but
- 40:38Speaker 1: you walk like everything.
- 40:39Speaker 2: He's got this as a four. He had changed a four.
- 40:44Speaker 1: I could see a four. It's a two ember swing right.
- 40:49Speaker 1: It is after freaking It's not gro grok. You're only
- 40:56Speaker 1: going to get one Ember off of more times than
- 40:59Speaker 1: not because he's an after fight where change agent is
- 41:02Speaker 1: after reap, so you can you can get multiple ember
- 41:07Speaker 1: off this guy. All right, it's a seven. You're right,
- 41:09Speaker 1: it's not a seven calm calm down dress card.
- 41:14Speaker 2: So look at this next wall of text.
- 41:16Speaker 1: All right, high street churn play, Oh gosh, choose the
- 41:20Speaker 1: house on your opponent's identity card. I like where this
- 41:23Speaker 1: is going. Your opponent discards a random card from their
- 41:27Speaker 1: hand until they discard a card of the chosen house
- 41:30Speaker 1: or run out of cards. They refill their hand as
- 41:33Speaker 1: if it were their draw steps this card was like,
- 41:39Speaker 1: oh my gosh, this is amazing, and then redraw. Oh yeah,
- 41:46Speaker 1: if you just discards up right, Yeah, it's like it's
- 41:49Speaker 1: just discards some number of cards and then redraw. So
- 41:53Speaker 1: again it's an attempt to it's hand disruption. It's an
- 41:57Speaker 1: attempt to hand disrupt again. And if there there's a
- 42:01Speaker 1: lot of stuff. A equoed on that extra punishment for
- 42:04Speaker 1: being over six cards, because here like if you had
- 42:08Speaker 1: nine cards and I picked some house and you discard
- 42:10Speaker 1: down to one, you only draw.
- 42:11Speaker 2: Back to six, right, you don't. You're not redrawing the
- 42:15Speaker 2: original hand size. So it's more for big hand.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it takes care take care of It also burns
- 42:26Speaker 1: a chain. It also takes care of wins sort of well,
- 42:33Speaker 1: I mean if they just wins I mean again, you're
- 42:35Speaker 1: you're talking like, okay, they wins a card until they wins.
- 42:40Speaker 2: And then not get value. I mean like they already
- 42:43Speaker 2: got value because they replayed one house off of wins,
- 42:46Speaker 2: so that doesn't fix wins. Like often after you play
- 42:50Speaker 2: Wins of Death and you play the first house the
- 42:53Speaker 2: rest of your hand, you're sitting there going like this
- 42:56Speaker 2: sucks because I have a bunch of creatures and two
- 42:58Speaker 2: more houses that I don't want to play mm hm,
- 43:00Speaker 2: So I'm just gonna sit here and reap with the
- 43:02Speaker 2: house I played, so that this actually probably fixes that.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Like that's yeah, wins without the key abduction or you
- 43:13Speaker 2: know something. The crazy absolutely crazy on Tame Turns is
- 43:18Speaker 2: not as broken as as yeah, you make it out
- 43:24Speaker 2: to be.
- 43:25Speaker 1: So there's another card, Plunder, which is kind of similar
- 43:30Speaker 1: but just better.
- 43:31Speaker 2: In every way because they don't redraw afterwards.
- 43:34Speaker 1: I don't draw, you get to decide, and there's a
- 43:37Speaker 1: number pip I don't.
- 43:40Speaker 2: I just don't like this card, and I'm like, this
- 43:43Speaker 2: is a low value disruption card. I kind of want
- 43:47Speaker 2: to give it another one because I don't really want
- 43:49Speaker 2: it in my deck.
- 43:50Speaker 1: I think I don't want it to make but it's
- 43:54Speaker 1: probably to like all the other junk. It's fine. It's
- 43:57Speaker 1: not great, but it's fine. No, I mean I can
- 44:03Speaker 1: tell fraud no frauding. Maybe so or no.
- 44:08Speaker 2: I mean you say Mars and then I the first
- 44:11Speaker 2: card to reveal is one of the creatures and I
- 44:13Speaker 2: just drawn another car and go okay. I mean that's
- 44:17Speaker 2: not a big deal.
- 44:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it's possible.
- 44:22Speaker 2: What you actually do to stop frauding is when you
- 44:26Speaker 2: know I've not played Mars a long time, you then say, like, whatever,
- 44:31Speaker 2: I played the previous turn. Like if I just played
- 44:33Speaker 2: the shadows and you say shadows and you make me discard.
- 44:36Speaker 1: The whole hand, right, that was kind of my thought, yeah,
- 44:39Speaker 1: which is it's okay, but I don't I don't know.
- 44:44Speaker 1: I'm fine.
- 44:45Speaker 2: It's like these cars where they refill their hands after
- 44:49Speaker 2: after Like, I rarely care about people playing reckless on me.
- 44:54Speaker 2: I feel like when you're playing a good deck with
- 44:57Speaker 2: all high value cards whatever, like make me discard three
- 45:00Speaker 2: draw three different cards. I don't care all my cards
- 45:02Speaker 2: a deck because it doesn't suck.
- 45:04Speaker 1: I mean in a heavy combo deck pre gr it
- 45:09Speaker 1: was probably a bigger deal now that you could just
- 45:12Speaker 1: oh great, it's in my discard pile, so I could
- 45:14Speaker 1: just archive here. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't even worry
- 45:20Speaker 1: that much about recklessnesses with fraud though, and that's you know,
- 45:23Speaker 1: like wants to hand craft. It just doesn't it personally,
- 45:30Speaker 1: it doesn't scare.
- 45:31Speaker 2: Me that much. The way I end up playing the game,
- 45:33Speaker 2: this card doesn't doesn't scare me too much. But yes,
- 45:39Speaker 2: like if they know you're holding your IG or something,
- 45:42Speaker 2: this card can be used to name, you know, a
- 45:46Speaker 2: house where they think they can make you discard most
- 45:47Speaker 2: of your hand.
- 45:48Speaker 1: It has value it being so random, like you can
- 45:52Speaker 1: also hit you know, I, okay, you just played Shadows.
- 45:56Speaker 1: I mean there's still the possibility you drew into another
- 45:59Speaker 1: Shadows card and it's random. So I hit that Shadows card,
- 46:02Speaker 1: so now I do nothing, like just I don't know
- 46:08Speaker 1: it if they did this card until you hit this
- 46:12Speaker 1: card another one of those cards in their hand where
- 46:14Speaker 1: you're like, this needed an ember pit.
- 46:18Speaker 2: I don't know if it's actually how did they not
- 46:19Speaker 2: make a card equedont or in and unfathomable called go
- 46:25Speaker 2: fish where you name a card and if your opponent
- 46:27Speaker 2: has it in your hand, you get to play it.
- 46:30Speaker 1: Uh, wouldn't that be in the fish house? Yeah, that's
- 46:35Speaker 1: what I thought you said.
- 46:37Speaker 2: How did they not put well? Yeah, I stumbled at first, But.
- 46:40Speaker 1: I mean, if you chat Luke right now, it may happen.
- 46:45Speaker 1: I feel like that's the best idea I've ever heard.
- 46:47Speaker 1: Nothing it's happening. I'm fine with this being a two.
- 46:53Speaker 1: I feel like it's giving your opponent efficiency. Possibly. I
- 46:58Speaker 1: feel like it's like the double edged sword, right, like,
- 47:00Speaker 1: I don't I don't know if it's good. If it
- 47:02Speaker 1: has an umber pip, I feel better. That's sort of
- 47:04Speaker 1: real dull. Yeah, Like again, it's another card. I feel
- 47:08Speaker 1: like needed an Ember pip. Like if it's an Ember pip, okay,
- 47:12Speaker 1: it's fine. But without the umber pip, it's like, uh,
- 47:17Speaker 1: there's no feel good. Yeah all right, So we're gonna
- 47:20Speaker 1: Moonlight Moonlight Special Pip a Vember. Every time you play it,
- 47:23Speaker 1: I feel like that's the first time I've said it,
- 47:25Speaker 1: this time, this whole Yeah it is.
- 47:27Speaker 2: This car's name got changed.
- 47:30Speaker 1: It might have. But when you play it's an action card.
- 47:32Speaker 1: Play discard a random card from your hand if you
- 47:34Speaker 1: do gain one. I like that. We like I like
- 47:42Speaker 1: this set of four.
- 47:43Speaker 2: Yeah, we like terrible teammates and this like like terrible
- 47:48Speaker 2: teammates in sum regard and this.
- 47:49Speaker 1: I get too Ember four.
- 47:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 47:52Speaker 1: Most of the time it's two Ember and a discard
- 47:56Speaker 1: from your hand. So efficiency, that's pretty good. It's not May,
- 48:02Speaker 1: it's not May. It has discard a random card from
- 48:04Speaker 1: your hand. But that's fine. I'm gonna play all my
- 48:05Speaker 1: equod On cards and this will be my last equodn
- 48:08Speaker 1: card to be played.
- 48:09Speaker 2: Yeah, you're just playing Geistoid, so you're gonna get him
- 48:12Speaker 2: back anyways.
- 48:13Speaker 1: Yeah, so I am perfectly fine giving this a four.
- 48:18Speaker 1: I like, I'm okay with that for Yeah, I guess yeah, yeah,
- 48:23Speaker 1: it's pretty solid.
- 48:24Speaker 2: I'll come on, you're right there.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Oh what did he give it six?
- 48:30Speaker 2: Oh no, he's got it. He's got a four for No,
- 48:32Speaker 2: let's go.
- 48:32Speaker 1: On to our niche market November. Every time you play
- 48:36Speaker 1: it for an artifact, each creature with the lowest power
- 48:39Speaker 1: games actions steal one. Mm hmm. This is a one. Yeah,
- 48:47Speaker 1: like this is no, this is not a one. This
- 48:50Speaker 1: is a negative one hundred. Oh well this might be
- 48:54Speaker 1: a zero. I think, Oh it's right, we can go
- 48:56Speaker 1: to zero. Like it's a trap, right, remember how is
- 49:02Speaker 1: that not a card in the fish deck. There's not
- 49:08Speaker 1: like the Aquaedion creatures are too big, like if there
- 49:10Speaker 1: was a bunch of common ones, like.
- 49:12Speaker 2: Maybe playing the token sets. The thing is just wretched, wretched, wretched.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Ah, I just want to I've never played the car
- 49:23Speaker 1: if it exists in but how is it?
- 49:26Speaker 2: Let's just go off on that tante. It does still exist.
- 49:31Speaker 2: You can get multiple copies of Niche Market too.
- 49:36Speaker 1: Well, they don't stack.
- 49:40Speaker 2: Think about having two cards you have to discard every cycle.
- 49:46Speaker 1: No creature gains action steel one Action steel one.
- 49:51Speaker 2: Despise this card with an un bridled faction. I absolutely so.
- 49:58Speaker 2: We absolutely this and even even the way you play
- 50:02Speaker 2: this card often your opponents getting first opportunity to interact
- 50:08Speaker 2: with it. It's awful. This like when I was saying earlier,
- 50:15Speaker 2: we were talking about whether we liked the double Amber
- 50:18Speaker 2: Pip and we didn't even like that we're putting an
- 50:20Speaker 2: action steel. But I was thinking about that card and
- 50:24Speaker 2: having to put action steel on things versus this card.
- 50:28Speaker 1: I'm fine with the zero rating.
- 50:30Speaker 2: He had three situational can be really good.
- 50:33Speaker 1: And I'm like, no, I mean I had put one,
- 50:40Speaker 1: but like, did you also forget we can go to
- 50:42Speaker 1: zero because coming around to zero zero, that's right. We
- 50:51Speaker 1: never played it.
- 50:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I've only seen it played and then it used
- 50:57Speaker 2: against the player who played it. That's all I've ever
- 50:59Speaker 2: seen it do.
- 51:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I I And if you get this and sealed,
- 51:03Speaker 1: you cannot play it, right, Yeah, no you can't. No,
- 51:07Speaker 1: you just can't.
- 51:07Speaker 2: Yeah, you can't play this card.
- 51:08Speaker 1: This card is unplayable even for the pip. Awful all right,
- 51:14Speaker 1: that way, I'm glad we all agree. Reap the wild
- 51:18Speaker 1: Wind pip a Vember every time you play it action
- 51:23Speaker 1: it is enhanced with three Ember pips. Good start, Yeah, right,
- 51:28Speaker 1: play for this card, yeah, yeah, play. Each player reveals
- 51:33Speaker 1: a random card from their hand and gains one for
- 51:35Speaker 1: each bonus Ember icon on this revealed card. This is
- 51:41Speaker 1: this is.
- 51:42Speaker 2: Even semi controllable, right, Like you play down, you play
- 51:46Speaker 2: down all your on Amber enhanced as much on Amber
- 51:49Speaker 2: enhanced stuff as you can. Then you play this card,
- 51:52Speaker 2: increasing the chance that you're gonna get more pips. Plus
- 51:55Speaker 2: you already have more enhancement pips. This card seems every
- 51:59Speaker 2: once in a while would be a place where you're like, oh,
- 52:01Speaker 2: it could put them on check to win the game.
- 52:04Speaker 2: Mm hm, so it's gotta go. But mostly this seems
- 52:09Speaker 2: like very strong push.
- 52:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't get the I'm giving my opponent Ember
- 52:15Speaker 1: off turn, and that always seems like a bad idea.
- 52:19Speaker 1: Always always seems like a terrible idea to give my
- 52:23Speaker 1: opponent Ember off turn. I mean, if they're not going
- 52:26Speaker 1: to forge off of it, especially in a set that
- 52:29Speaker 1: has so little Ember control. I mean, I feel like
- 52:36Speaker 1: there is some but this set feels like it has
- 52:40Speaker 1: little to know, like so little and most of it
- 52:45Speaker 1: and most of its capture there's a bunch of steel
- 52:49Speaker 1: in in. Uh, there's some bunch I think is generous,
- 52:55Speaker 1: but like I don't know, Like I just this card
- 53:00Speaker 1: rubs me the wrong way. I understand what everybody's saying.
- 53:04Speaker 1: The enhance is super cool and super good. Just I
- 53:07Speaker 1: get freaked out every time I'm like, I'm going to
- 53:09Speaker 1: give my opponent Umber on their turn. What you gotta
- 53:13Speaker 1: just go for it, and I don't know what I'm hitting.
- 53:17Speaker 1: I feel like this is a risk it for the
- 53:19Speaker 1: biscuit card, and every time I say that, I end
- 53:22Speaker 1: up eating the biscuit. Right, all right, well, what do
- 53:25Speaker 1: you what are you giving?
- 53:26Speaker 2: I'm giving it there's the disccard that does something sort
- 53:30Speaker 2: of similar, something game where like you reveal a card
- 53:35Speaker 2: on the top of your deck and you get a
- 53:36Speaker 2: number for each card that's the same house in your hand.
- 53:39Speaker 1: Ye, opponent better, this is better?
- 53:43Speaker 2: Yes, And that card I've never I don't think I've
- 53:45Speaker 2: ever not played that.
- 53:46Speaker 1: Card because people are going to get all angry about it.
- 53:53Speaker 1: Five not five four or five five?
- 53:58Speaker 2: Can you can you get multiple of these?
- 54:01Speaker 1: I have? It's so good a fair Yeah, okay, yeah,
- 54:09Speaker 1: I could go five. This seems strong. Let me, uh
- 54:17Speaker 1: think of a deck.
- 54:18Speaker 2: With three of these and you just go to town.
- 54:21Speaker 1: I mean that is nine extra ember pips.
- 54:24Speaker 2: So and and they did reprint the curse toom so
- 54:27Speaker 2: you could get even more stacked.
- 54:30Speaker 1: Yeah, in in the deck with I have two of them.
- 54:33Speaker 1: I've got uh, two cards in the deck with three
- 54:37Speaker 1: ember pips on them because they got double hands. I
- 54:41Speaker 1: got a card that gotten hands to have two Umber
- 54:45Speaker 1: pips on it, and then I got twenty printed umber
- 54:49Speaker 1: in the deck. But this isn't right. It's not even
- 54:52Speaker 1: a random them so good?
- 54:57Speaker 2: What are you on your perch juice?
- 55:00Speaker 1: Each player revealed, oh it is random. I thought it wasn't.
- 55:03Speaker 2: Remember opponents never choose anything. Ever, there's basically a non
- 55:14Speaker 2: existent I thought.
- 55:15Speaker 1: K was in set. I'm saying Chris Tom's not in set.
- 55:20Speaker 2: Maybe that one made it to talk and not this.
- 55:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's changed. I don't think I'm having
- 55:27Speaker 1: trouble remembering what reprints are and what reprints set right now? Wait,
- 55:32Speaker 1: Ritual of Talk, nat in it rich right there? Yeah?
- 55:39Speaker 1: Aniwho five?
- 55:44Speaker 2: All right?
- 55:44Speaker 1: Ace Jonathan Ace Jonavan for each ember on Ace Jonavan
- 55:50Speaker 1: keys cost plus one play capture one.
- 55:53Speaker 2: This is two sided.
- 55:55Speaker 1: Yep, yeah, which I got This card.
- 55:58Speaker 2: Read good until it was too until it didn't. And
- 56:02Speaker 2: then it's like you're also like, so this comes down
- 56:06Speaker 2: and starts capturing Amber Amber to your opponent camp.
- 56:09Speaker 1: For but you also so you cannot yes.
- 56:12Speaker 2: And now you can't kill it because your opponent four just.
- 56:15Speaker 1: First, Yeah, they can't kill it.
- 56:19Speaker 2: Yeah, so this is like the freaking key am I
- 56:22Speaker 2: hated the theory of this card.
- 56:24Speaker 1: Yeah? This what did we give dinosaur paint your boy dinosaur? Yeah?
- 56:34Speaker 1: It makes it makes your keys plus one for each
- 56:37Speaker 1: creature with Ember on it. Are you talking about Faust? Yeah?
- 56:43Speaker 1: Faust is great, I know, but I'm drawing an analogy, sir.
- 56:49Speaker 2: Bus has got to be a four.
- 56:51Speaker 1: Bous is a four. I believe this is at least
- 56:54Speaker 1: one step down. This is like a lot of steps down.
- 56:57Speaker 1: If not two umber control, it is key cost control.
- 57:04Speaker 2: I capture one, so it's like and in another regard,
- 57:08Speaker 2: it's kind of.
- 57:09Speaker 1: Like a capture one plus one of the key costs
- 57:12Speaker 1: immediately half of them are moog if those more key
- 57:18Speaker 1: sheets in set, are there any kill and then cheat?
- 57:22Speaker 1: There are a couple, but not all.
- 57:25Speaker 2: If you think about the card as a whole, it
- 57:27Speaker 2: is well, it's alive, it's a two amber, or it's one.
- 57:31Speaker 2: It's a one amber sort of net positive for you
- 57:33Speaker 2: because they're at eight and you play this and they
- 57:36Speaker 2: go down to go down to seven and it makes
- 57:38Speaker 2: the card costs seven where you're at seven and you
- 57:41Speaker 2: can just forge. Right.
- 57:43Speaker 1: So yeah, So like redline rotation isn't set huge scaling
- 57:51Speaker 1: Ember steel scaling ember. So like you can use cards
- 57:57Speaker 1: like this to just pump the value and then steal
- 58:01Speaker 1: a ton uh and and when you wipe the board.
- 58:06Speaker 1: So I gave it a two because there are ways
- 58:12Speaker 1: to to abuse it. But like in the sealed deck,
- 58:16Speaker 1: if this wasn't one, I would like it better.
- 58:20Speaker 2: But yeah, another this would be a four or five.
- 58:26Speaker 1: I was. I was at a two just because I
- 58:28Speaker 1: don't like it, because it's.
- 58:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm fine with a two.
- 58:32Speaker 1: Yeah, two, all right, aerial peddler three power creature, get
- 58:36Speaker 1: a rook merchant after reap take control of the least
- 58:39Speaker 1: powerful enemy creature. You may use that creature this turn.
- 58:42Speaker 1: Give control of aerial peddler to your opponent.
- 58:46Speaker 2: Okay, I gotta read that again. Reap take control of
- 58:49Speaker 2: the least powerful enemy creature.
- 58:51Speaker 1: I mean you can. You can use that creature this turn.
- 58:54Speaker 2: Okay, that's okay. Yeah, then give control of area pedal
- 58:59Speaker 2: pedler to your opponent. It so, depending on what the
- 59:03Speaker 2: effect is, you might be able to kill peddler before
- 59:05Speaker 2: you pass it over or bounce it or all kinds
- 59:08Speaker 2: of stuff.
- 59:09Speaker 1: You also and get and give it to your opponent.
- 59:17Speaker 2: Yes, that also happens. But like if you have if
- 59:21Speaker 2: you capture creatures says recapture or something, you could put
- 59:25Speaker 2: the amber on peddler and send it over like peddler.
- 59:29Speaker 2: That's something you're not thinking about on peddler is peddler
- 59:33Speaker 2: has a built in put a million amber on him
- 59:35Speaker 2: and pass him over effect. Yeah, that's that's an interesting thing.
- 59:40Speaker 2: I don't know how much huge pile captures in the set.
- 59:44Speaker 2: We haven't seen a lot.
- 59:45Speaker 1: Say how much capture is an equanon.
- 59:48Speaker 2: We have not seen much.
- 59:50Speaker 1: Jonavan didn't have any right, just no pips, so he
- 59:56Speaker 1: captures himself, is what I'm saying.
- 59:58Speaker 2: It's just another weird little mid powered car.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Feel like he's like a two three.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know if.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: His I put him out a two because like you
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: don't get much choice in terms of what you're taking.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: Yeah, when it's kind of like reap gain and amber
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: gain the control of that creature. Reap gain an amber,
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: So it's taking control of creatures is often even random
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: creatures is often strong. Yeah, giving over creatures is rarely
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: a big deal because like they don't have the same
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: houses often enough. I don't think it pushes this thing
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: to a three.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: I think it's two, like I said, I was, I
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: was in the two three range. Like, I can see
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: the benefits even before she said pile a bunch of
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: mber on them.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: Too bad it doesn't say ready and use because then
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: you could like have two aerial peddlers and rule of
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: six them. Oh right, like I reap I uh and
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: you aerial peddler, it's your least powerful creatures. Are put
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: my other area peddler and take him back. And but
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: he doesn't ready in you, so you can't move. That
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: makes the card far more fun.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: I'm fine with the two.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: Well, you are using the creature this turn.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: Yeah, but you can only use a creature that's readed right, So.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: And he's exhausted, I get him, I get him back exhausted.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: You're right, so okay, all right? Anyways two two two
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: two two excellent contract execution pip a Vember. Every time
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: you play it, it's an action card. Play for the
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: remainder of turn. Each time you play a creature, deal
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: to damage to a creature.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: So what a value is forage? Value is going to
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: be like, oh, it'll be like two and a half. Yeah,
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: but you might get four, and you might get six,
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: and you might get two, and you might get zero.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: Let's say it's it's kind of it's all over the
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: place like it does. It does have a number. Pip this.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: This is basically a reprint, right.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: This is like a bad version of the Mars card.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: I play.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Charge.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: Right, Yes, charge is almost the same thing.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Okay, I think it isn't identical. What's different?
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't think of charge as a
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: card because it's bad.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: Yeah, and this is the same charge and find it. Yeah,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: that's key charge, okay. Charge. It does also have a
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: pip of mber for the remainder turn. Each play, each
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: creature gains play deal two damage to an enemy creature.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: So actually the texts okay, charge is better because this.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: If you're playing it on an empty board. Like on
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: an empty board, you deal damage yourself, which means you
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: just play it last. So that's not really that big
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: of a deal.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: It doesn't matter, yea. So it's still a two charge.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: Charge gives play effects which can then be canceled or
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: duplicated in all kinds of things. It's a little more
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: simply texted. But whatever charges, this is the same. It's
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: it is functionally the.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: Same two perfect. I guess in theory you could kill
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: your dust imp with this, right, whereas you can't with charge.
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's not And I get.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: The destroyed value off of it at that point, right, Sure,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: I play it truth to trigger its playability. Yeah, I
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: get the playability off. All right, let's get to our
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: first six distributor two power goal two power human enhanced
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: with two pips after fight after reap, move one number
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: from a creature to another creature. You put this?
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: How come it's Janet? Of course six?
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Are we just putting it because it's Janet? So it's
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: automatic six? Heck? Yeah, what's the.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: What's the little storying creature that does the same thing?
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: Uh, Console Primis.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: Okay, So this is one better than Council Primus because
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: it has enhanced Pipsis.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: Is also a three power. Council Primis has enhancements as
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: one as one enhancement. I think this might just be
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: again Primis. Yeah, one enhance, capture, reap, move one umber
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: from a creature to another creature, and it is three power.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: Okay, so this is just Council Primus. I think it
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: can have the same score two.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: It is twice. Now I will say my distributor Janet
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: that I opened the it was actually the second deck
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: that I opened, had a disc upgrade PIP on it
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: and two ember on it. So my Janet is a six.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: And that is why yep.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: On play like to see is instead of the saying
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: employee the month forty seven months running, which is fantastic.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: But yeah, if it's like if it's that employee of
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: the month and then had like a date and then
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: they just used the algorithm and it was always just
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: generating random dates. No, it would be kind of fun, right,
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: using that, using the algorithm's ability to make the flavor
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: text and make cards even more unique, and then people
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: could go searching for their birthdays or something.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Oh, that would be fun. No fun in this game? Good, Okay,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: let's let's hoist operations. Throw up a little all right,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: pip a number every time you played. It's an action,
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: put a creature into its owner's archives, Targeted creature.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: Control, targeted creature bounce. It can both creature. Yeah, I
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: can redo your play effects or take away their amber pips,
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: make them really regret playing their their stupid they're stupid spaceships.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: Yeah, there you go, amber pip. What's like, there's able banish, right, yeah,
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: so a more flexible banished and banish was okay? Yeah,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: you didn't hate it having a banish four or five banishes,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: a two or three Spanish I just looked up.
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: So this is this is a step up from banish,
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: so three four the.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: Yeah, sure, occasionally against an empty board. You may not
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: want to archive your own.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: Creature, but it's put a creature.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: Does have creatures, you know.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you have to pick a creature if there's something.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: On the board. Yeah, is there any good I mean,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: there's got to be something in the set that has
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: a good playffact. I'm sure I would just leave it
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: at too. Definitely, I was going to put I had
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: it at four because I like it's targeted removal, right,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: But it doesn't.
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: Try hard back and then try hard again.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: That's true, you can try guard again. I do like
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: try harding, right.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: I think this is this is a three or four
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: Canada four? Wow?
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: Now all right, I could go three.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: But and the fact that what also makes it a
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: thousand times better than banished is it doesn't have to
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: target lis power creature. You can creature.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Oh I forgot that was.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: Or is banished the one that you can pick anything?
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: Because there's also the or is it destroyed the lowest
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: far creature was the other one?
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought banish put an enemy creature into its
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: opponent's archives also does have a PIP because.
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: There's that other action that's in a way dist acts.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: So this is just banish. Oh no, that's only because
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: you can do your own three three, it is three.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: I think, all right, where did I leave off? Here?
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: We are skipper hookoo four power, get a root pilot,
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: another pilot, No, okay, after rep capture one, if you
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: do exalt each enemy flank creature.
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: When you somehow get your god awful giant Mars junkie creature,
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: this pilot tend to be protected.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: Wow, I dig it. I think he's a three.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: After reap after one, if you do exalt an enemy
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: flank creature.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: Exalt each enemy flank creature, that's a good reap effect.
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: Yeah that's pretty good. Okay, Yeah, that's fine.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: Okay, Transparency report. Now we're flying action play reveal your
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: hand if it contains no cards of the active house
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: game two. I feel like this car just reads play
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: game two.
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: Except when you get multiple copies, and that says to
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: be disappointed. Is the two is this is? This is like?
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: This is a three.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: It goes down as you get more.
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: One zero yeah, zero zero zero zero.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: It is common. So you're gonna see multiples of these
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: three two, three two zero zero.
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: Now even like what's go, what does ghostly hand had?
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: Because two amber pips actually isn't even that that it's
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: not considered that.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: Good ghostly hand.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: Okay, and that has the rare chance of steel. But basically,
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: basically this is just a double pip card, right.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: Yeah, which which doesn't get hit by in furnace.
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: That is that.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: I was just about to mention that because talk not
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: that anybody remembers that card anymore. Hack definitely has a
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: furnace in it. I almost, for a quick second forgotten
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: furnace existed until I was playing some talk and cutting furnace.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: I actually didn't realize it was in there.
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: Definitely, you can certainly get multiple transparency reports.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: To normal one one, Yeah, I put two. I feel
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: like one is one is a three two that's a
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: third of a key, all right? Finding two one zero?
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: How is expected a third of a key? Well, but
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: the expect now, I think it's less than two because
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: there will be moments where Okay, I'm fine with the
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: two one whatever.
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: It keeps making a date. So I'm just gonna put
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: two into that.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Worry about it, okay, high higher tula. I don't know
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: if I said that right? Three Yeah, Okay, what go back.
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: No, I'm just starting to feel like going across this
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: that all these cards are ones, because I don't really
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: feel like I want equed On right now.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: No vendor higher toola a three power get a rook
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: merchant After reap, you may destroy the vendor if you
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: do take control of an enemy artifact while under your
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: control it belongs the house.
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: Equedon and reap stealing artifacts.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: Who was touching themselves when they were like artifact control?
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: I don't know easily than cog Miller, So like I
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: had Cogmiller at a three because it Oh JM is correct.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: It is not in tokens of change in furnace is
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: not in tokens of change and more massimutation. He is Okay.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: I was gonna say I hadn't seen it yet. No,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: he is one hundred percent correct. We were playing Triple M.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: That is true, got it? Okay, that makes more sense.
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: You guys were playing Triple M.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: I was. I was playing Triple M and I played some.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: I mean, taking control of enemy artifacts and making them
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: a house is a pretty strong effect. The guy's a
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: little weak.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: But in some situations he's going to be a must kill.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: For your opponent and situations than not, you don't have
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: to worry about it at all.
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: I don't know. You almost always have an er fact
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: and you don't want to stole in. I think this
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: guy's a three.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I could say three because this is gonna yeah
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: like he he may cause your opponent to take a
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: suboptimal turn just so you can't use it. Yeah, like
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: so even if it dies, you still got an advantage.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: So okay, yep, yep, I think three. Yeah, hmm, okay, Yeah,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: we played in uh sealed yesterday. I played with the
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: ac Come play with us Wednesdays and Sundays. Uh, So
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: I was playing uh and I definitely put out my
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: my hoosiam what's it? My uh cauldron?
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: Is that.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: My hus what's it? Yeah? My cauldron and uh and
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: then yeah, they played not this card because we were
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: playing gr but they played that uncommon currency and then
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: stole my cauldron and uh it was cauldron turned one
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: and so they stole it like turn I guess turned
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: two or three and it was that's what lost me
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: the game.
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: So yeah, cauldron is a very good steal, all right, vested.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Harold, Yeah, he uh, he'll enhanced your doc with some
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: ecuaedn cards. Heck, yeah, scrap. Choose a friend. I'm sorry,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: he's far a powered diplomat recruiter, not a Gett a rook.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: By the way, even on one hundred percent is scrapped
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: because there was not enough text to make Gett getty rupe.
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: Mm hmm. Yeah, because of the recruiter line is super important.
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: Scrap.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: They're all recruiters, They all all the angle pip ones
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: are recruiters. Choose a friendly creature and an enemy creature.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: Put each chosen creatures into its owners archives.
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: Okay, so that's a scrap of fact.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Yep.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: That's another thing.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: When you got to think about this being able to
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: target any creature to go.
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: To our chives. It goes to owners archives most of
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: the time. It's like going back to the car that
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: put a creature into it into its owners always takes
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: back to owners. So it's a way to reclaim you're
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: stolen creatures, because that's becoming more and more common.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: Mm hmm. It puts your Okay, so it puts your
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: pedaler back.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: I feel like I guess I I really do hate
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: that stupid I can't reap the fact, you know, I'm
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: still not sure where it is. Like, I feel like
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: this is a three, but I know everybody else wants
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: a four.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: Oh, I mean it's got that high psyicon. And this
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: scrap effect is very good.
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: Yeah, this scrap effect is pretty good.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: Like, give me four of these guys, that's pretty good.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: But now you have no creatures because you're using them
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: off for the scrap effect.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: Right, I have because my other four cards are that.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: Yeah, and I got a whole bunch of Equodan and
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: I'm just cycling cards, archiving cards, playing them back out
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: because they're also Equedon. Right, But I.
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: Think you like it more than four, but I don't.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: It's escalating, right, So yeah, the problem is with having
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: multiples of these, you're also you also have Equaedon in
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: your deck right now. Equadon has not been great, Brabnar
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: has not been great.
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: Okay, so we only have one more card to do.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: Yep, and of change shards are back for all the
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: you shared enthusiasts.
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: Yeah, but the then news are desirable.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: Well even this card and the right deck is going
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: to be very strong, all right. It's an artifact action.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: For each friendly shard, you may swap a card from
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: your hand with a card of the same type in
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: your discard pile. This is good. Yeah, I can't see
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: the plot. So I got I got Harold, right, I
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: scrap him. I like archive something I want to archive.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: I forced my opponent to archive something they don't want archive.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: Then I pull them back to my hand and chuck
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: a card not of equad on and then I do
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: it again. Right, this is like?
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: So this is this is my favorite walk score? He
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: gave it a one and not useful most of the time.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: Is this now?
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: What?
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: I doubt because what this card reads to me is
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: like I'm not quite as good as well of memory,
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: but I'm close.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: Good? Right? The problem is is you it comes with
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: other shords? Right? No? Not necessarily, Well, it will come
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: with at least one. Can't you get this?
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: I might even has anybody seen a two shard deck
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: in this set? I might even twisted that up to
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: three because I've mostly seen three shard decks.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: Maybe this card like that would be a good move
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: just in terms of fun factor. All right, so here's
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: the deal, right, Okay, so I action it. I can
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: discard an upgrade from my hand to get an upgrade
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: from my own weight yeah, okay, I can discard an
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: action from my hand for action, I mean, I guess
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: for handcraft.
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: No, so like you can stay an equadon forever with
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: this card, well at least for two cards, for two
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: or three, but yeah established if you have board established right,
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: and then you get to use this card for two
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: cards every turn where you're like going like, okay, I
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: discard my action from my other house and I fight
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: something to do creature control, and then I discard my
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: off house creacher. I get my creature back, and I
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: get my best action, like my reap the wind, and
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: then I'm holding as the last card in my hand
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: or one of the cards in my hand my triple
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: pips something. So every time I reap the wind, there's
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: a chance I'm gaining four amber. And you just do
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: that multiple turns, it will be pretty strong.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm look, I think it's all triple now, get right.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: I'm just wondering, like, because at some point there has
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: to be a point of diminishing or turn on this
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: and how many times are you only getting one?
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: It doesn't matter, that's still a super strong effect.
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: Discard a card, get back your back at best equoedon
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: card and replay it. Like, no, it's not. That's not
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: how this card works. It is discard a card and
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: you have to go get one of the same type. Yep,
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: if you discard creatures and action. Yeah, how often do
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: you not have creatures and actions? You choose the card
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: you discard, you take the card you want back, right,
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: you don't want upgrades, so like that doesn't matter. It
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: might be harder to grab one.
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: And this is yeah, this is actually swap, so you
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: can't even do it with an upgrade if there aren't
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: upgrades in there, because it is swapping. But yes, there
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: will be there. You're right, there will be a turn
- 1:20:46Speaker 2: where you're like, I really want my action back, but
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: it happens to be I only have three other stupid
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: creatures in my hand and it can get choky. But
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: like you would take a card that says pick an
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: equoedon card from your deck and from your discard and
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: play it again, like, and that's functionally what this card
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: is doing.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: And it's the man there is great because if you
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: have three shards out and you only want to swap
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: two cards, you can, yeah, one card, two cards, even
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: if it don't.
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: Handcraft for the next turn, be like, I got three
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: brob Nark cards and two whatevers, and you're like, well,
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: let's get rid of the two evers and take my
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: my my.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: Riot back my only card.
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: Yes, yes, right, and take my riot back into my hand.
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: So next turn, I'm ready to bomb like this, lets
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: you just take your best cards and put them back
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: in your hand.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: All right, I'm increasing my car. I think this is four.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: I would go higher, but shards are slowest not yeah,
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: I mean, and they're so free four. I'm like, I'm
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: wondering because it does pull in, but you get pain. Yeah,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: that's that's the other thing that you're right, besides shards
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: being snow slow as snot is you can also get
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: this in decks with the bad Sharks, because there are
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: still bad sharks. But if you get this shard, if
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: you got this with Skyborne, the Skyborne Shard and the
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: Logo shard, you're not a sad person. Yeah. Any of
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: the new shards well, and a couple of the old ones,
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: but mostly yeah, I mean, all the new ones I
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: think are better than all the old ones. Shard of
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: Pain deal one damage for this to an enemy. Yeah, Okay,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: that's all of our new cards. That's all of them outside.
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: Of my negative.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: All right, let me we turn niche market into a
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: zero instead a negative one hundred and if I highlight everything,
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: you have a niche market in your deck. Lose the game, right, Oh?
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: Forty five thousand? Yeah, there you go. Oh did you
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: multiply them?
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: There we go fifty seven to twenty three.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: We gave equad On an average house score of two
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: point four to seven for new cards, so generally, no, thanks,
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: do we do we do? Do? We say? That's number
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: for the old for the old two.
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: The way you walk as the numbers in there? We
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: I can't do that right now?
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: Oh, because he did he played multiple numbers. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: so we'll have to Why do you put two thousand
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: and two and whatever?
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: Because it turned it into a date?
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: Oh I see, yeah, you know you know how excel is.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: Anytime you put something in a box and it can
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: turn it into a date. It's like it's a date
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: and you're like, it's not a date, but it is.
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: Yes, it's a date.
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: Now now a date? Alrighty, Well, if you guys enjoy this,

- 1:24:30Speaker 1: it's gonna be better, But I mean it's not gr guystoid.
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: Oh there are there. There are a couple of guys
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: story cards that I know are really good.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: So okay, yeah, but there are some good stuff for sure.
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: They actually have some really cool upgrades.
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: There's a card called Strato Strato Flight. I'm kidding, it's
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: called Wise but that's about as close. Mm hmm. Their
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: shard's pretty dope. I do like their shirt got a flight,
