- 0:21Speaker 3: What the fuck?
- 0:23Speaker 2: Every month?
- 0:24Speaker 1: This?
- 0:24Speaker 2: No? This is not well. We're a quarter of the
- 0:27Speaker 2: way through the year. I know, whoa I know? Yep, scary.
- 0:35Speaker 2: This month marks the last month of your twenties, I know,
- 0:39Speaker 2: the last thirty days of being twenty.
- 0:41Speaker 3: I gotta be we feel and sick.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Honestly, I know like ten years is a long time,
- 0:46Speaker 2: but it felt like a really long time. I would
- 0:48Speaker 2: not say my twenties went quickly. Yeah, it is a
- 0:51Speaker 2: long time. Like when you think about when you were,
- 0:53Speaker 2: you know, nineteen.
- 0:54Speaker 3: I don't even remember what I was doing when I
- 0:56Speaker 3: was twenty. I don't, I truly don't remember. Ow Like okay,
- 1:03Speaker 3: but yeah, so that'd be fun. Yeah.
- 1:07Speaker 2: But before we get into our monthly favorites, do you
- 1:11Speaker 2: want to share your life lesson of the week. My
- 1:13Speaker 2: life lesson of the week is don't.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Get changed in your car.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Oh why what happened. I got a new shirt today
- 1:23Speaker 2: at the post office, and so I went to the
- 1:26Speaker 2: post office and picked it up because I wanted to
- 1:27Speaker 2: wear that shirt today, which is the one I wearing
- 1:29Speaker 2: right now, and it.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Had been in the post office for a while.
- 1:31Speaker 2: So I got in the car and I just went
- 1:33Speaker 2: to do a quick little change, and then knocking on
- 1:34Speaker 2: my window was the postman from the post office. I
- 1:38Speaker 2: had my tits out in my car, and he realized
- 1:45Speaker 2: way too late. And he realized and I realized, and
- 1:48Speaker 2: I was like clutching myself. We wearing a bra yes, because
- 1:51Speaker 2: isn't really that good. It doesn't leave mighty imagination. It
- 1:55Speaker 2: featured shit, a featuring artist knocking on your window because
- 2:00Speaker 2: I had more packages and I'm just in the car going, no,
- 2:04Speaker 2: what did he do?
- 2:05Speaker 3: And then he's like.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Realized, like he didn't realize straight away, and then he
- 2:08Speaker 2: like kind of looked down and then he was like, oh, sorry,
- 2:11Speaker 2: oh no, the poor So anyway, I've got to change
- 2:13Speaker 2: the post office now. Yeah, she will have to change
- 2:15Speaker 2: the PO box. I always get changed in my car,
- 2:17Speaker 2: like I always.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Do, like a quick wardrobe change in my car.
- 2:20Speaker 2: But who doesn't, Yeah, maybe don't do it when you're
- 2:24Speaker 2: parked on a curb, But where else are you supposed
- 2:27Speaker 2: to do it? I was trying to be road safe.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Maybe should have waited to wait till on the highway.
- 2:32Speaker 2: You could have waited till you got here in our
- 2:34Speaker 2: private car park underneath the building. Nalie, we're not looking
- 2:38Speaker 2: for logic right now. Okay, I was naked and afraid.
- 2:42Speaker 2: He was afraid you were naked. He was afraid. You
- 2:44Speaker 2: think I scarred the poor car. The amount of times
- 2:48Speaker 2: like I've been topless and not meaning to me is
- 2:52Speaker 2: not okay.
- 2:53Speaker 3: So that's my life lesson a week.
- 2:55Speaker 2: I don't know that there's that many people that will
- 2:58Speaker 2: relate to that. No, I think it's a really I
- 3:00Speaker 2: feel like I was too excited.
- 3:02Speaker 3: I want to put my new shirt.
- 3:04Speaker 2: On every girl's car access half vehicle to get from
- 3:08Speaker 2: A to B and half wardrobe. Like if I'm half covered,
- 3:11Speaker 2: I don't really care if people walk past and they
- 3:12Speaker 2: see me changing, if there's like some decorm. I was
- 3:15Speaker 2: changing in the car when Rob and I were going
- 3:18Speaker 2: to like we were at a party and then we
- 3:20Speaker 2: had to go to an engagement party. But they were
- 3:22Speaker 2: both two very different vibes and so then I was
- 3:25Speaker 2: getting changed in the back of the uber, and like
- 3:28Speaker 2: I had a couple babies at this point, so I
- 3:31Speaker 2: was just like whatever, I need to care. And there
- 3:32Speaker 2: was no way I could like get my like do
- 3:35Speaker 2: like the hook arm chicken wing out through it, like
- 3:38Speaker 2: where you do that change, And so I was like whatever.
- 3:40Speaker 2: At this point, I didn't have a bra, So I
- 3:42Speaker 2: just went to change and Rob like literally boomeranged my
- 3:46Speaker 2: full country road duffel bag across my chest. And I
- 3:51Speaker 2: looked at him like the betrayal, and he was like,
- 3:53Speaker 2: there's a dash cam shit with the dash care And
- 4:03Speaker 2: I was like, oh shit, Wow, that's a good reminder
- 4:06Speaker 2: for her. I mean, everyone should be acting, not saying
- 4:09Speaker 2: that this was disrespect. I was just trying to recreate
- 4:11Speaker 2: that scene in twenty seven Dresses.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's an iconic scene.
- 4:15Speaker 4: You know.
- 4:15Speaker 2: She's like changing between the two weddings, which is trying
- 4:18Speaker 2: to be the bridesmaid, and she gives him like one
- 4:19Speaker 2: hundred bucks to drive her that whole night and not look. Yeah,
- 4:23Speaker 2: and every time we look, she deducts like twenty bucks.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Love that. And then like they get to the end
- 4:29Speaker 2: and she goes and she's like here go like sixty
- 4:31Speaker 2: bucks and she goes I saw them and he's like,
- 4:33Speaker 2: oh oh my god.
- 4:35Speaker 3: But anyway, so yeah, don't get changed any car.
- 4:37Speaker 2: That's a good love.
- 4:39Speaker 3: But no the consequences.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Yeah, your postman post that was.
- 4:43Speaker 3: It was really horrible.
- 4:44Speaker 1: It was really and I.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Was just going no, no, no, and he was like sorry,
- 4:49Speaker 2: sorry shit anyway, Yeah, wow, Okay, solid life lesson. I
- 4:54Speaker 2: like it. I like it.
- 4:56Speaker 3: What about you? My life lesson of the way anything
- 4:58Speaker 3: to do with you boobs?
- 5:00Speaker 2: No, damn, same old, same on. Hang it. No, okay,
- 5:06Speaker 2: My life lesson of the week is that your annoying
- 5:08Speaker 2: boss is aging you faster. Yeah. So I saw a
- 5:14Speaker 2: twenty twenty six study that found that having difficult people
- 5:18Speaker 2: in your life may accelerate biological aging. And the researchers
- 5:22Speaker 2: call them hasslers. Yeah, so these are people in your network.
- 5:29Speaker 2: It could be like a mother in law, It could
- 5:31Speaker 2: be your boss, it could be a sibling, it could
- 5:34Speaker 2: be anyone. A mother in laws always get the bad rap.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Why not the dad in law? Yeah, true, annoying father
- 5:42Speaker 2: in law or like pesky uncle. But this this report
- 5:47Speaker 2: found that each additional hassler in your life is linked
- 5:51Speaker 2: to about one point five percent of aging faster. I
- 5:55Speaker 2: thought you were gonna say one point five years and
- 5:56Speaker 2: I was really scared. No, but still that if you
- 5:59Speaker 2: have mold hasslers in your life's a compounding interest of stress.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Stressful people in your life are literally aging you. Yeah,
- 6:07Speaker 2: and it's because the increased stress and the increased quartersole
- 6:11Speaker 2: levels ate you. Well yeah, which this is wild. We're
- 6:19Speaker 2: gonna send send some old managers my botox bill, right,
- 6:23Speaker 2: we excuse me, crows feet need to get done here
- 6:26Speaker 2: and go. Yeah, work that into like your promotion a
- 6:29Speaker 2: ris package. Yeah, seriously, this therapy, this massage that I
- 6:34Speaker 2: had to get botox.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:36Speaker 2: I've read a headline the other day and it said
- 6:39Speaker 2: that leaving a toxic workplace can heal your nervous system
- 6:43Speaker 2: faster than therapy, and I was like, I believe that,
- 6:46Speaker 2: m I believe it.
- 6:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:48Speaker 2: So if you've been thinking about quitting your job, I
- 6:51Speaker 2: think this is the sign.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Yeah, get a new job. It's always fine.
- 6:56Speaker 2: It's like starting a new day school. Yeah, and I
- 6:59Speaker 2: think it was. May is also one of the times
- 7:02Speaker 2: when people are hiring.
- 7:03Speaker 3: The most true.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Sign refresh the LinkedIn hunt. I feel like we need
- 7:09Speaker 2: to bring back the emotional quitting, like everyone's true responsible Yeah,
- 7:16Speaker 2: be like, I cool wit Yeah, and someone you can't
- 7:20Speaker 2: fire me? I yeah, been like and you know what,
- 7:23Speaker 2: fuck you Todd. And he's just like standing near the
- 7:25Speaker 2: printer being like, why is fully Yeah? Been like? Then
- 7:29Speaker 2: this bread is stale? Yeah? Exactly, Yeah. And I spit
- 7:33Speaker 2: in every one of your coffees. Yes, yes, let's bring
- 7:37Speaker 2: that back.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Someone do that this week and then tell us how one.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Yeah, we'd love to know. All right, should we get
- 7:41Speaker 2: you a favorite?
- 7:42Speaker 3: All right, let's do it.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Okay, what's your first favorite? L Okay? My first favorite
- 7:52Speaker 2: is a new skincare launch that is all over TikTok
- 7:57Speaker 2: and I tried it this week and last week, and
- 8:02Speaker 2: holy guacamole, what is it? It's the BioMA bi Collagen
- 8:07Speaker 2: Radiance facial mask. This is why we need to exchange notes,
- 8:12Speaker 2: because it was only because it's on my list too,
- 8:14Speaker 2: And honestly, I think that's a good recommendation. All right,
- 8:17Speaker 2: taught me through your experience, I'll do the same. So
- 8:20Speaker 2: there have been so many creators talking about this Jilly
- 8:23Speaker 2: Clark dom and like, you went to an event and
- 8:28Speaker 2: tried it and basically this mask is like if I
- 8:33Speaker 2: could put you know, the movie Flobber. Yeah, it reminds
- 8:36Speaker 2: me of like a pink flobber, yeah, fully yeah, And
- 8:39Speaker 2: it's like this gooey mask that you then paint onto
- 8:42Speaker 2: your skin, leave it on for twenty to thirty minutes,
- 8:45Speaker 2: and it then becomes like appeal off sheet mask, which,
- 8:50Speaker 2: oh that feels good. And when I tell you, my
- 8:53Speaker 2: skin has never looked like glass skin so much in
- 8:55Speaker 2: my life. And I don't really like using marketing terms
- 8:58Speaker 2: like that as well, because I think it's a little
- 8:59Speaker 2: bit less oh goo. But truly, honestly, it's so good.
- 9:05Speaker 2: And the fact that it's thirty three dollars is wild.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Like I was so impressed with how affordable I kind
- 9:13Speaker 2: of thought this mask was because I wouldn't have been
- 9:15Speaker 2: surprised if it costs fifty six upwards. Yeah, from any
- 9:19Speaker 2: other brand. I honestly think that's probably where the price
- 9:22Speaker 2: point would see it. And that's why I do really
- 9:24Speaker 2: like BioMA as well, because when they launched in Australia
- 9:28Speaker 2: last year, they've been viral in other markets prior to that.
- 9:32Speaker 2: But the amazing thing about it is that they're probably
- 9:35Speaker 2: one of the most affordable brands that you can shop
- 9:37Speaker 2: at Sephora one thousand percent and their brand is fully
- 9:40Speaker 2: focused on enhancing and building your skin barrier, so they're
- 9:46Speaker 2: really good for your skin's health in terms of not
- 9:49Speaker 2: being too harsh. If you've got sensitive skin, they're a
- 9:51Speaker 2: great brand for it, which I do. Yeah, And I've
- 9:55Speaker 2: found that a lot of like face masks like that
- 9:58Speaker 2: to get an instant kind of result, which a lot
- 10:02Speaker 2: of these products do promise, sometimes they are a little
- 10:04Speaker 2: bit more intense, whereas this is super gentle. Yeah. And
- 10:08Speaker 2: literally I went to this event and was you know,
- 10:11Speaker 2: went for the facial lovely experience and then peeled the
- 10:14Speaker 2: mask off and was like, holy shit, like my skin
- 10:18Speaker 2: really did look instantly hydrated. Yeah, And I do think
- 10:22Speaker 2: we have fallen into this thing where, especially with skincare,
- 10:26Speaker 2: we want to see instant results, and a lot of
- 10:30Speaker 2: products do need, you know, a minimum of twelve weeks
- 10:33Speaker 2: to see those results. And I think that's fine, but
- 10:36Speaker 2: like you said, to be able to see results that
- 10:38Speaker 2: if you have an event, like if you have an
- 10:40Speaker 2: event that day you're going out or whatever it is,
- 10:44Speaker 2: whack that bad boy on. So good, so good, and
- 10:48Speaker 2: the feeling of peeling it off is so satisfying. Yeah,
- 10:53Speaker 2: like if you're one of those little freaks like us
- 10:56Speaker 2: who love to like pop a pimple or like he's
- 11:00Speaker 2: your eye, and I feel like I feel like.
- 11:01Speaker 3: That guy in Austin Powers, Like that's.
- 11:08Speaker 2: A good one, like when we gold Member, Yes, when
- 11:11Speaker 2: we did get good one. It's it's like that, but
- 11:17Speaker 2: a thousand times milky. It was fucking crazy when I
- 11:20Speaker 2: saw you take your foot off with your sock that
- 11:22Speaker 2: one time. That was intense. That was like I need
- 11:25Speaker 2: to do it again.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I have it with you.
- 11:30Speaker 2: I felt like the bottom of Chris's feet the other
- 11:33Speaker 2: day and they were so like soft and supple, and
- 11:36Speaker 2: then he felt the bottom of mine. It was like,
- 11:38Speaker 2: I think you need to get a pedicure. I was
- 11:41Speaker 2: like shit from wearing cowboy boots all the time, but
- 11:46Speaker 2: the ball of my foot is Yeah, I'd love to
- 11:49Speaker 2: see those soft supples feet in a heel exact. We
- 11:52Speaker 2: got coulesses for a reason.
- 11:53Speaker 3: We're doing hard work.
- 11:54Speaker 2: You man, you man, You're stupid, stupid man. But yeah,
- 11:58Speaker 2: I love that we both had that pit because we
- 12:01Speaker 2: hadn't spoken about it. It's so good and it's pink
- 12:04Speaker 2: and it's pink. And that's how you know when it's
- 12:06Speaker 2: ready to peel off, because it turns clear.
- 12:08Speaker 3: And face which also love that too. Anyway, it's an
- 12:11Speaker 3: out of ten.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Yeah, well it's your favorite, gorgeous. My first favorite. Is
- 12:16Speaker 2: a new pop star to add to your rotation?
- 12:19Speaker 3: Is it Cody Simpson?
- 12:20Speaker 2: No, but we can talk about that, okay. Cody Simpson
- 12:23Speaker 2: is so back.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Cody's back.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Cody Simpson's new song sounds like the male Olivia Dean. Fully,
- 12:32Speaker 2: it's giving. I'm popping down the street on the way
- 12:36Speaker 2: to work. I'm the main character. The sun is shining,
- 12:41Speaker 2: my jacket is jacketing. Yes, it's also giving. I'm on
- 12:45Speaker 2: holidays and i just spent the day at the beach
- 12:48Speaker 2: and I've just had life.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Just read.
- 12:55Speaker 2: I think she makes a holiday. I think I just like, Wow,
- 12:59Speaker 2: I was READI you sounded like in Harry Potter when
- 13:02Speaker 2: like the Dementors suck the soul out of serious.
- 13:04Speaker 6: And he's like, but it's like the rever So the
- 13:07Speaker 6: Demensions spat it back and they went, don't want that
- 13:10Speaker 6: your take backsies, please, no exchange, just no refund. So
- 13:13Speaker 6: that is I'm really excited, Cody go on Drop It
- 13:19Speaker 6: Drop here. He's really been aging us with just that
- 13:22Speaker 6: intro and it sounds so good, sounds so amazing.
- 13:27Speaker 2: I can't wait for it to be in like my
- 13:29Speaker 2: top five wrapped.
- 13:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going to log that song like there's no tomorrow. Yeah.
- 13:34Speaker 2: If you see me bopping down the street, don't worry,
- 13:37Speaker 2: because just Cody. Do you know what, It's just Cody's
- 13:42Speaker 2: It's just courdy. It's just Cody. Put that ship on
- 13:45Speaker 2: a shirt that is giving Hey, it's you. It's just Cody.
- 13:51Speaker 2: It's just you'll see me bup it. Don't worry, It's
- 13:56Speaker 2: just Cody. I love that honestly, because the female pop
- 14:02Speaker 2: stars have been pulling all the way. Yes, so we
- 14:06Speaker 2: need the boys. Cody came to SVE he did like this,
- 14:10Speaker 2: not a yeah yeah yeah, because he knows his target demographic.
- 14:16Speaker 2: He does. And it's the girly it really is, and
- 14:19Speaker 2: like love that you've had your side quest into Olympic
- 14:23Speaker 2: swimming and all of that. Amazing, but bring it back.
- 14:26Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 14:27Speaker 2: I like it because it sounds like music does It
- 14:29Speaker 2: sounds like it was made on a soundboard yea or
- 14:32Speaker 2: in garage band with like do it's not a crazy frog. Okay,
- 14:38Speaker 2: Like I I this is just amazing, but like I
- 14:43Speaker 2: really don't like how synthetic music has become, and so
- 14:47Speaker 2: I'm like, this just feels so fun. Watch maybe an idiot,
- 14:51Speaker 2: like probably the whole thing was made on a soundboard
- 14:53Speaker 2: or something done like that. But it has a nostalgic
- 14:55Speaker 2: feeling though it sounds like it would have come out
- 14:57Speaker 2: in the eighties. It sounds like do you know what
- 14:59Speaker 2: I mean? It's like songs that you can hear it
- 15:03Speaker 2: at any point in time and it'll put you back
- 15:05Speaker 2: to that place. It's like any song with a violin
- 15:08Speaker 2: brief like the Cause, the Climb the Cranberries, like anything
- 15:16Speaker 2: with a violin or like a string moment in it,
- 15:19Speaker 2: I'm gonna throw up, it's so good. Have you listened
- 15:21Speaker 2: to comments will spit back immediately? Have you listened to
- 15:24Speaker 2: Coming Up Roses by Harry Styles?
- 15:27Speaker 3: Is that in the new one?
- 15:28Speaker 2: Yeah? And it has the most beautiful violin bridge that
- 15:34Speaker 2: literally I could ascend really and I listened to it
- 15:37Speaker 2: like that. I was in my living room when I
- 15:38Speaker 2: saw Jesus thing. Yeah, it's fully that And if you
- 15:42Speaker 2: listen to it in the shower flow state, let's not
- 15:47Speaker 2: ask questions you don't want to answer to anyway.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Anyway, I know that water pressure you've gone that exactly,
- 15:54Speaker 3: that's strong. Anyway, what's your new.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Yeah, my new pop prints to add to your rotation
- 16:01Speaker 2: is Holly Humberstone. What her fucking name?
- 16:05Speaker 1: Right?
- 16:06Speaker 2: The alliteration you meant to be a pop star? Holy shit?
- 16:09Speaker 3: Is it a stage Jame? I don't even care. Yeah,
- 16:10Speaker 3: that's a great name, right name.
- 16:12Speaker 2: So if you like Chapel Roon, Olivia Rodrigo Lord or
- 16:17Speaker 2: Gracie Abrams, you will like Holly Humberstone. And she has
- 16:21Speaker 2: been around for a while, right, but I hadn't really
- 16:23Speaker 2: heard of her, but she's about to launch her second
- 16:26Speaker 2: album and I think you would actually love it out.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Speaking of like music that sounds like real music, this
- 16:32Speaker 2: sits in that category. It's very indie pop danceable. But
- 16:37Speaker 2: also she's a singer songwriter, so lots of like very
- 16:40Speaker 2: catchy choruses, which I also think would be really really fun.
- 16:44Speaker 2: But the reason that she really caught my eye is
- 16:47Speaker 2: her new album's called Cruel World, and the lead single
- 16:51Speaker 2: off of it is the same name, and she dropped
- 16:54Speaker 2: the music video for it this week and you need
- 16:57Speaker 2: to watch this, you will actually die.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Why.
- 17:01Speaker 2: So it opens with remember in like old Disney cartoons
- 17:05Speaker 2: and they would open with the storybook cover, like the
- 17:08Speaker 2: Gilded story. So it opens with a frame like that,
- 17:12Speaker 2: and then in the music video, it's like a medieval
- 17:16Speaker 2: stage play fairy tale. It is so fucking iconic. Like
- 17:22Speaker 2: you know how medieval core is very much a trend
- 17:24Speaker 2: right now. It really taps into that, but in a
- 17:27Speaker 2: way that feels super authentic to her, like it is
- 17:30Speaker 2: so fucking core. Yeah. So the new album, crawl World,
- 17:33Speaker 2: comes out on the tenth of April, but she supported
- 17:36Speaker 2: like Taylor Swift, Lewis Capaldi, and Olivia Rodriguo as well. Yeah,
- 17:41Speaker 2: how does she She was born in nineteen ninety nine, so.
- 17:44Speaker 3: What is so she twenty seven?
- 17:47Speaker 2: But yeah, because I really do think that we like,
- 17:50Speaker 2: I listened to just so much of the music that
- 17:52Speaker 2: I used to listen to growing up. I made it
- 17:54Speaker 2: like a goal of mine to try and discover some
- 17:56Speaker 2: more artists this year. I'm all thinking of like fun
- 17:59Speaker 2: like fun goals to do in twenty twenty six, not
- 18:01Speaker 2: like drink blah blah water. I was like, I want
- 18:04Speaker 2: to listen to more Australian drink blood. Well that too,
- 18:07Speaker 2: now you know. I've been doing that plenty. And when
- 18:10Speaker 2: did we make that goal? I wasn't included in that meeting,
- 18:13Speaker 2: but I'd like to be.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:15Speaker 2: No, that was a prerequisite after I got my iron infusion.
- 18:17Speaker 2: They also send your tree vampire start drinking blood, said,
- 18:21Speaker 2: I won't eat meat, but sucking blood. Fine, I'll do it.
- 18:25Speaker 2: But yeah, so add her to your playlist. She's amazing.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Just Cody, It's just it's just Cody. It's just Cody,
- 18:32Speaker 2: Just Cody. Okay, what's your next obsession?
- 18:34Speaker 3: Okay, my next obsession?
- 18:37Speaker 2: Slash Favorite is actually a recent interview that was at
- 18:41Speaker 2: the Oscars and it just filled my heart and soul
- 18:47Speaker 2: with sparkles. And it was an interview between Amelia from
- 18:52Speaker 2: Chicken Chop Date and Ethan Hawk, and I'm going to
- 18:55Speaker 2: play it for those who haven't heard it.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Get the tissues ready, Get the tissues.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Ready, Larry har you plan your movie.
- 19:02Speaker 5: He's a full for unrequited love, I would say, but
- 19:05Speaker 5: do you have any advice for.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Someone who also has a bit of an unrequited love
- 19:09Speaker 2: theme in their life?
- 19:10Speaker 4: The one who's in love always wins. Okay, Yeah, it
- 19:14Speaker 4: doesn't matter if you get your heart broken. You're living
- 19:16Speaker 4: when you're when you're feeling, you're alive. The sun doesn't
- 19:19Speaker 4: care whether the grass appreciates its rays, right, it just
- 19:22Speaker 4: keeps on shining. That's you.
- 19:25Speaker 2: I'm going to get that tattooed. A full body chills,
- 19:29Speaker 2: full body chills. I love that. So the sun doesn't
- 19:34Speaker 2: care if the grass appreciates whether it's shining. It just
- 19:38Speaker 2: keeps on shining. And like the one who's in love
- 19:41Speaker 2: always wins. And I just think that is such a
- 19:45Speaker 2: beautiful life lesson and reminder for life, because especially with
- 19:51Speaker 2: everything that's going on in the media and in the
- 19:54Speaker 2: news and in the world, like there is so much
- 19:57Speaker 2: heaviness that you know does need attention and does need acknowledgment.
- 20:02Speaker 2: But I do think that is such a beautiful reminder
- 20:06Speaker 2: of like the nice things that we can have. And
- 20:10Speaker 2: you know, we also get so many dms from chicks
- 20:12Speaker 2: who are going through breakups, whether it's platonic or romantic,
- 20:16Speaker 2: with friendships or lovers and all of that that to
- 20:19Speaker 2: be a lover, to be like a lover girl or
- 20:22Speaker 2: a lover boy is always better than being hateful. Totally,
- 20:26Speaker 2: like isn't it just so much more fun to be
- 20:29Speaker 2: in love, whether that's with life, your job, your home,
- 20:35Speaker 2: your friends, and like, oh, I just loved it when
- 20:39Speaker 2: he like said that first line of like the one
- 20:42Speaker 2: who's in love always wins, I wanted to throw up.
- 20:45Speaker 2: It was amazing.
- 20:46Speaker 3: It was the best thing I've ever heard.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Yeah, because unrequited love is such a painful emotion. Yeah,
- 20:55Speaker 2: how does it feel if you, as someone who's been
- 20:57Speaker 2: in love with Harry steals a knife in the heart
- 21:01Speaker 2: every day? Okay, have you ever been in love with
- 21:07Speaker 2: someone that didn't love you back?
- 21:09Speaker 3: Yes?
- 21:09Speaker 2: And it was so painful? Yes, sa, I mean this
- 21:15Speaker 2: is so boring because I've been dating my boyfriend for
- 21:17Speaker 2: so just give me the yeah. Yeah, I mean yes.
- 21:21Speaker 2: I was definitely in high school, so all emotions are
- 21:24Speaker 2: so in that time as well. But I think my
- 21:28Speaker 2: two first like crushes before Chris were both kind of
- 21:32Speaker 2: like unrequired love of like people who would like act
- 21:37Speaker 2: like they really liked me and then take it away
- 21:39Speaker 2: and then like and you just can never let go
- 21:41Speaker 2: as well because there's no closure there and it's so
- 21:45Speaker 2: painful and you can just be like, why do I
- 21:48Speaker 2: have to like you? When you don't like me the
- 21:50Speaker 2: same way. Yeah, And it's but looking back at it
- 21:54Speaker 2: as well, and you're like, well you would. You know,
- 21:56Speaker 2: there's so many lessons to be learned from those experiences,
- 22:00Speaker 2: and being able to feel any emotion truly is a privilege,
- 22:04Speaker 2: even if it really hurts, because you learn so much
- 22:07Speaker 2: from those experiences, and then you can appreciate when you
- 22:10Speaker 2: are in a relationship with somebody who really loves you back.
- 22:15Speaker 3: Gosh, yeah, that's what I think.
- 22:17Speaker 2: I think so many, like especially years of my life
- 22:20Speaker 2: is like I had so much love that I wanted
- 22:23Speaker 2: to give to friends, but you know, I didn't really
- 22:26Speaker 2: have those people yet. I felt like I had unrequired
- 22:29Speaker 2: love in friendships, Like I wanted to love friends and
- 22:33Speaker 2: I couldn't really find my people for so long. But
- 22:36Speaker 2: now I look back on it, and I don't think
- 22:40Speaker 2: unrequired love goes anywhere.
- 22:42Speaker 3: When you have love to give, it doesn't disappear.
- 22:44Speaker 2: It just gets directed to people that will appreciate it.
- 22:49Speaker 2: So if you do love someone and they don't love
- 22:51Speaker 2: you back, whether it's a friend, a lover, or a
- 22:55Speaker 2: family member or whatever it is, don't see that as
- 22:58Speaker 2: like a waste of your love, because you will find
- 23:00Speaker 2: someone who it's worth giving to. Is like what I
- 23:04Speaker 2: took from that, And I'm getting my period and I'm
- 23:07Speaker 2: about to start crying. Go back to Courdy. I'm fully
- 23:19Speaker 2: getting my period. I also chose to watch The Notebook
- 23:21Speaker 2: this week.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Fuck.
- 23:24Speaker 2: I know that was a bad choice, but.
- 23:27Speaker 5: I was like sitting on the that movie honestly is
- 23:31Speaker 5: so so beautiful, seriously, and I just oh, I feel
- 23:36Speaker 5: that's like that goes.
- 23:37Speaker 2: In my folder. I have this like folder on my
- 23:40Speaker 2: phone of saves that I'm like the reminders, like the
- 23:45Speaker 2: reminders of things that when you're having a bad day
- 23:49Speaker 2: when something just like doesn't really go your way, when
- 23:51Speaker 2: maybe it's one of those days when nothing really bad happens,
- 23:53Speaker 2: but it's one of those days where your coffee was
- 23:57Speaker 2: a bit shit, you missed the train, and you get
- 24:00Speaker 2: into work and you've got three emails from people that
- 24:03Speaker 2: annoy you and you're just like, yeah, that like the
- 24:07Speaker 2: reminders that you know it is really special to just
- 24:11Speaker 2: be here, to love and to be the sunshine. Regardless
- 24:16Speaker 2: of whether or not the grass like appreciates your raise.
- 24:18Speaker 2: It's like, good job, Ethan. Honestly, yeah, give him the
- 24:22Speaker 2: oscar just for that.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Just for that comment.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you.
- 24:26Speaker 3: Can have the two broke chicks oscar exactly.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I really really loved that as well. God
- 24:32Speaker 2: Emerely is good.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Yeah, she's great at her job.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Yeah, she just could have charisma with a carrot. You
- 24:39Speaker 2: know what I mean. That's not a saying, no, I know,
- 24:44Speaker 2: but it should be. She could have charisma with a carrot.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Fucking hell, we do.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Have to put these in a book.
- 24:51Speaker 2: I fear, Yeah, I fear.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Yeah, but hey it's too But hey, it's too.
- 24:59Speaker 2: That was beautiful. Okay, move on to my favorite. My
- 25:02Speaker 2: next favorite and something that has truly lived rent free
- 25:06Speaker 2: in my mind for the entire month is the Chloe
- 25:09Speaker 2: Fall twenty twenty six runway. Oh did you see this? Cool?
- 25:13Speaker 2: My entire TikTok has been flooded with this runway. It
- 25:17Speaker 2: was so so beautiful. So it was shown at fashion
- 25:20Speaker 2: Week earlier in the month, but it's very much our vibe,
- 25:24Speaker 2: like billowy maxi skirts, victorian blouses with like huge dramatic
- 25:30Speaker 2: sleeves and ruffled collars like chiffon plaid skirts, and it
- 25:36Speaker 2: was just amazing. Also the styling, like the hair of
- 25:40Speaker 2: all of the models. They had really really long, like
- 25:43Speaker 2: wavy or crimped hair with like like plats in it,
- 25:47Speaker 2: and then with like little accessories like very jewelry, very whimsy,
- 25:53Speaker 2: but also very like prairie style as well, so like
- 25:56Speaker 2: a bit of a Western influence as well, which was
- 25:59Speaker 2: really cool, like embroidered knitted cardigans and like riding boots.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Like it was just so so cool, And I feel
- 26:08Speaker 2: like a really good source of inspiration as we move
- 26:11Speaker 2: into autumn and winter and are looking for like style inspo. Yeah,
- 26:15Speaker 2: because I do think that it's things that a lot
- 26:17Speaker 2: of people would be able to pull from their own
- 26:20Speaker 2: their own wardrobe or shop vintage, because like, obviously I'm
- 26:23Speaker 2: not going out and buying the Chloe collection, but I'm like, oh,
- 26:28Speaker 2: the whole thing. Literally it's you see it on the
- 26:31Speaker 2: work card. I'm like, I'm like it was research for
- 26:33Speaker 2: the episode.
- 26:34Speaker 3: I'm like, Sally meek Man, we will never financially from there.
- 26:39Speaker 3: They looks really good, gimme the Yeah.
- 26:42Speaker 2: But yeah, I'm like that like ruffled vintage blouse that
- 26:46Speaker 2: I got in London two years ago, Like I can
- 26:48Speaker 2: pull that in, or like I can do my hair
- 26:50Speaker 2: in a wavy style and put platter yeah, or like
- 26:53Speaker 2: I was at Glee Markets the other day and I
- 26:55Speaker 2: saw a few different stalls had lots of like vintage
- 26:58Speaker 2: belt buckles yeah, and I was like, that is such
- 27:02Speaker 2: a cool accessory that you could like attached to a
- 27:04Speaker 2: belt to like remix some of your accessories and stuff.
- 27:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:08Speaker 2: I love that.
- 27:09Speaker 3: I have to look at it.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Mm yeah, I'm like, I need to like do that more,
- 27:13Speaker 2: like have a look at what's coming down on the
- 27:14Speaker 2: runway and like seaways that I can pull inspo from
- 27:18Speaker 2: my own wardrobe of vinted shopping and stuff like that,
- 27:21Speaker 2: rather than like waiting for the trend to land in
- 27:23Speaker 2: a store and then buying it. Yeah, because I do
- 27:26Speaker 2: believe most of the time you can create a trend
- 27:29Speaker 2: with things that you own as well as we see
- 27:32Speaker 2: a lot of like color combo trends yeahh which I
- 27:35Speaker 2: think is really cool because I think that also allows
- 27:38Speaker 2: you to see ways that you can refresh the style
- 27:42Speaker 2: of your own wardrobe. And we know that most people
- 27:44Speaker 2: only wear ten to fifteen percent of their wardrobe, so
- 27:48Speaker 2: it's a good way to like reignite that passion that
- 27:50Speaker 2: you have for the things that you already own. Because
- 27:53Speaker 2: I find that a lot of the time as well.
- 27:54Speaker 2: It's like I'll style some two things together that I
- 27:57Speaker 2: didn't really realize I could put together, and then.
- 27:59Speaker 3: I'm like, oh shit, that's not too bad.
- 28:02Speaker 2: And then I'm like, I'm like I should take a
- 28:03Speaker 2: photo of this and put in my notes because I
- 28:05Speaker 2: always forget yeah, And then I'm like, oh wait, bring
- 28:08Speaker 2: that big yeah tapes, yeah, wearing app loaded in exactly Yeah. Well.
- 28:15Speaker 2: My final favorite for March is I would say this
- 28:20Speaker 2: is a yearly favorite, comes around every year, but it's
- 28:23Speaker 2: the Uniclo knitwear.
- 28:26Speaker 3: The Unicorn nitware is the best bang for buck you.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Could ever get and outside of secondhand right and honestly,
- 28:34Speaker 2: the pieces they have are such good quality in terms
- 28:38Speaker 2: of like five or and fabric composition versus price. So
- 28:42Speaker 2: they have a one hundred percent Merino sweater for fifty
- 28:45Speaker 2: dollars forty nine ninety, so less than fifty dollars if
- 28:48Speaker 2: you want to be a dickhead, about ten cents, and
- 28:50Speaker 2: then one hundred percent Cashmere Crew next sweater for one
- 28:54Speaker 2: hundred and twenty nine ninety, which like Kashmir it stores
- 28:58Speaker 2: like I don't know cold and you know other ones
- 29:02Speaker 2: that are rich that I don't know are like a
- 29:05Speaker 2: three hundred plus y pending absolutely even higher, and then
- 29:09Speaker 2: a Lamb's wool crew neck sweater for forty nine ninety. Like,
- 29:14Speaker 2: they just have such good knitwear and the nitwear that
- 29:18Speaker 2: I have from last year, she's still kicking, like it
- 29:22Speaker 2: doesn't fall apart if you take care of it. It
- 29:25Speaker 2: lasts like it's such good And I like that they're
- 29:29Speaker 2: not really really thick. I like that they're very easy
- 29:33Speaker 2: to layer, but they still keep you warm. To me,
- 29:36Speaker 2: that's a good quality knit is one that's not ridiculously thick.
- 29:39Speaker 2: It's easy to layer, but it's got the fabric and
- 29:43Speaker 2: fib that actually keeps you warm during cooler months. Yeah,
- 29:46Speaker 2: especially in like a Sydney or Melbourne winter like where
- 29:50Speaker 2: it's doesn't know what it's doing. Yeah, it's like I'm humid,
- 29:53Speaker 2: now cold now, I'm hot, now, I'm chilly.
- 29:57Speaker 3: Now I'm snowing, now I'm raining, now I'm sunny. That's
- 30:00Speaker 3: my moods.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Yeah, seriously, my ludial face and I don't know, I
- 30:05Speaker 2: don't know what's going on. And last year they also
- 30:08Speaker 2: had incredible scarfs. Oh my god. Yeah, they had this
- 30:10Speaker 2: like chunky scarf which again still have mine ten out
- 30:13Speaker 2: of ten.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I hope.
- 30:15Speaker 2: They bring out some more colors.
- 30:16Speaker 3: We'll let you know. Yeah, head to the store exactly.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Well, that's a wrap favorites for March. Done.
- 30:25Speaker 3: The next time we'll be doing your favorites. I'll be thirty.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Oh, my thirty, flirty and through arrivings so exciting, my
- 30:31Speaker 2: baby's growing it.
- 30:32Speaker 3: Let's wrap this up, honestly.
- 30:34Speaker 2: Yeah, twenties. I wonder if my thirties will feel as
- 30:38Speaker 2: long as my twenties did. Well, time goes quicker as
- 30:41Speaker 2: you get older, so maybe it will go quicker, but
- 30:43Speaker 2: who knows what the next ten years or to behold predictions,
- 30:48Speaker 2: we should do that. We should record like a secret.
- 30:51Speaker 2: We should prediction that we then were like like a
- 30:55Speaker 2: conversation with like my twenty nine year old self and
- 30:58Speaker 2: my thirty nine year old self. Yeah, that would that
- 31:00Speaker 2: be like that Billie Eilish documentary Yay is perfect?
- 31:06Speaker 5: All right?
- 31:06Speaker 2: How crazy?
- 31:07Speaker 3: I didn't even like know you when I was nineteen.
- 31:11Speaker 2: Yeah, that's so weird because you were like twenty one
- 31:14Speaker 2: when we first met.
- 31:15Speaker 3: I think I was twenty was there twenty one? Because
- 31:18Speaker 3: we've nearly been friends for ten years, we'll do it.
- 31:22Speaker 3: Laugh later we'll figure it out.
- 31:24Speaker 2: A long long time. It's just coldy, it's just coldy.
- 31:27Speaker 2: It's just Cody checks me.
- 31:28Speaker 3: Remember that song that snippered on TikTok early after this.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Okay, Chicks, bye love you, that's a rap. Thank you
- 31:33Speaker 2: for having us in your ear holes.
- 31:35Speaker 3: Big kisses, and tell us your favorites in the comments
- 31:37Speaker 3: plot because it's fun and I'll like to be influenced.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Love your chicks, Bye bye,
