UNC and NC State are set to ignite the hardwood twice this season, with their first clash on December 15th in Greensboro at the First Horizon Coliseum — dubbed the Tobacco Road Classic. This neutral-site showdown, part of a planned two-year series, resurrects a historic rivalry that last met twice in their own arenas since 1919. Fans will relive the intensity of past matchups from the ’60s through the ’90s, when Greensboro hosted 14 games between the rivals.
