morning with a preview. Good friend of the program Chad Lawler, executive director
• 0:31
with the Madison Area Builders Association. Chad, how are you doing this morning?
• 0:36
I'm doing well. We're just finishing the final prep for the expo this
• 0:40
weekend, which would be a great times. It's becoming I know it's the
• 0:43
second year you guys have done this and the Builder Model ex Bow and I
• 0:47
don't know if it's the time of year or what it is, but it's
• 0:49
become kind of a must see event, a great thing for folks. Here
• 0:54
a lot of buzz people talking about getting out and doing it. Let's talk
• 0:56
about what's all featured at the expo for folks that maybe maybe new to hearing
• 1:00
about the Build Remodel Expo. What are folks going to encounter this weekend?
• 1:06
Yeah? Absolutely so. This might be our second year with the Building Remodel
• 1:10
Expo, but this is kind of a growth off of Nari of Madison's Home
• 1:15
Expo remodeling show that they've had for several years, and then the Medisonary Builders
• 1:19
Association we had a show for thirty plus years as well, but just combining
• 1:23
our forces because we wanted to be the local show with local experts, and
• 1:27
that's really what you're gonna find. You're going to see different products, You're
• 1:32
going to meet local experts who can help you on any build remodel type project
• 1:38
that you're going to have in the future, be it this year or down
• 1:41
the road. So it's just a great opportunity to see the new products,
• 1:44
do the new trends, and meet the new or excuse me, the local
• 1:49
experts. The website build remodelxpo dot com. That's build Remodel Expo dot com.
• 1:55
All the details there online and Chad, you get a number of folks
• 1:57
who say, you know what, maybe we're not necessarily looking right now to
• 2:01
maybe build that dream home or or do any remodeling. We're just kind of
• 2:05
looking for ideas. I have a feeling like a lot of people, it's
• 2:07
a fun way to spend an afternoon and check things out and also get inspired.
• 2:14
Where I think sometimes maybe that perspective changes once people start to see all
• 2:17
the great things that can be either either designed into a brand new home or
• 2:22
some of the new construction some of the really neat things you're able to do
• 2:24
when it comes to remodeling remodeling homes. Correct. I think this is very
• 2:30
similar to our Prey to Homes events where you might not be looking to do
• 2:34
something right away, but it might spark that interest or that idea. And
• 2:38
sometimes it's not, you know, a full house build or a major renovation.
• 2:43
It could be just something you know, like what do I want my
• 2:46
office to look like? And what are the new colors? What are some
• 2:49
new products that I could add there that helps, you know, me live
• 2:53
the best life that I want in my own home. And it's not only
• 2:57
a great chance to get to know those builders and those designs. Also you
• 3:00
guys have seminars as well, running throughout the weekend, don't you correct.
• 3:06
It's packed the seminars. They're free for attendees to attend. Every fifteen minutes
• 3:12
a new one begins. It's just ongoing and it's anything from how do you
• 3:15
pick your builder or remodel or what are new products ways for healthy homes.
• 3:21
So there's a lot of different ways to learn about, you know, not
• 3:24
only the construction process and who to meet, but also how to live best
• 3:30
in your own home, you know, from that healthy perspective as well.
• 3:32
Got more information as well as ticket information and learn about those seminars and exhibitors

helping put this whole thing together, aren't they. Chad correct, Jess.
• 4:09
This is the first year that James Hardy is going to be our event sponsor,
