Teen Charged After Machete Attack | Durham News
A 19-year-old man allegedly went on a violent rampage early Thursday morning, attacking a woman with a machete and pouring gasoline on her in an apparent attempt to kill her. Deputies responded to the scene on Old Homeplace Circle in Wake County around 2 AM, apprehending the suspect, Charly Banos Jimenez, who reportedly told the victim he was going to kill her. He now faces multiple charges, including assault and threats, and is scheduled for his first court appearance this afternoon.
