Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe to the show. my lovely audience. Good morning. You made it the Friday. Doesn't that always just make ya warm and fuzzy inside, knowing that excitement of the weekend awaits? Yes. As you're listening to this, I will be hopefully having enough coffee and hand digging in the dirt. Those are my plans for the day. Yes. And hopefully have some excitement over the weekend. We will see what transpires. I've got a couple friends coming to help me out with a project that's kind of a heavy lifting project tomorrow. So hopefully everything goes smoothly. It has been a very interesting week in the political realm. And in the happenstances of everything that's taking place in the media, my brain is fried. I'm still not over the the sickness that I've got. Like it's not gone yet. And it's really making me wonder if I shouldn't take my ass to the damn urgent care or something. But it like my brain is just fried. It has become mush. So much information, so quickly, so chaotically, you cannot keep up. You know, there was there was a time in my life where I ignored. the shit out of anything in the political realm because I found it all to be a waste of energy. Then you grow up and you come to a couple of different conclusions. Conclusion one, you realize that the decisions that people are making do actually affect your daily existence, like they do. And then the second conclusion that you come to is the system is corrupt and one voice really doesn't matter anyway. So it's kind of like what what do you want to be doing? Do you want to be knowledgeable, knowledgeable about these situations and realize also at the same time that you have no voice, no power, no nothing? Or do you want to sit over here and just keep your head buried in the sand, not knowing what's coming? I I don't know. But government corruption is absolutely mind blowing. Anyway, so it's got me, I'm hoping next week will be a better week and my brain will have a reset and we'll be able to bring. Better content to the show. I ha I don't I haven't got into when we first started the show. I used to talk a lot about like what I ate for dinner the day before and things my wife made. And there hasn't been anything like overly exciting, so I haven't brought anything up. But yesterday, my wife made this soup, and it was a damn good soup. This is probably one of my new favorite soups. Like it's in the top fucking five. So she made a squash. And Italian turkey sausage soup. It was creamy, it was sweet, and it's literally pureed squash and water to get it to the right consistency with a bunch of chunks of Italian turkey sausage in it. And then to season it, salt, pepper, fennel seed, and like green onion. And the flavor profile of this soup was absolutely mind-blowing. Like It's very rare. Like, I mean, my wife's a good cook. I mean, you know, she's she's Greek. So the idea that like for me to have my mind blown by something like it like it was yesterday, like that is just amazing. So turkey sausage squash soup is now in the top five of favorite soups. I wish she would do content on her little recipe creations that she does, because I think that a lot of people would get a kick out of the things that she makes. And she could probably gain like a hell of a following between what she does at the restaurant and what she does at home and all the cooking this woman does. Yeah, I'm telling you, it would be it would be a damn good time. Anyway, so we're gonna we're gonna tear into some things tonight that are almost like we're almost again oddly predicted by the show. So hang on tight. It's gonna be Going to be some interesting things. and just a side note for my prepper people that are out there in the audience, you've got this typhoon champion set to wipe Taiwan off the map tomorrow and then to follow up the the coast of China. Okay. So for those of you out there that are the preppers, you guys know that if China halts plastic production, like do remember that plastic's made all over China, it's not in one central area. Do understand supply chains could be disrupted. If they can't get product out, if they suffer some devastation, and this is a massive fucking storm, like Taiwan essential, you know, for chipmaking and stuff like that, that's gonna fuck with the car industry. But if it takes out any mass producer of plastic packaging in China, we're gonna feel that effect in the US after probably about a month or two. So things that you typically buy in plastic packaging that you know is coming from China that has a long shelf life, maybe get them now while you can. Anyway, we'll be right back after these messages. Need a break from reality? Well sometimes I do too. And the place I go to take that break is the Beans and Weenie Show. You can find the link at lingtree.com backslash BWD crew. The Beans and Weenie Show where chaos and common sense wage war and you get a front row seat. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Doom Daily Show. I am your host, Jester Dooms, the email, Doom Daily Show at gmail dot com. Everyone on social media at Jester Dooms. Like, share, and subscribe. Okay. Trying to go back, find this article. All right. On the Epic Times. Virginia State Senator Lucas charged with drug trafficking and money laundering. Federal prosecutors unsealed charges against Democratic Virginia Senator L. Luis Lucas, the chamber's president pro tempor on October 22nd for allegedly helping lead a criminal drug trafficking and money laundering operation. A forty five page indictment that was filed in the Eastern District of Virginia charged Lucas and six others with racketeering conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute marijuana, conspiracy to launder money, conspiracy to commit honest services fraud, and maintaining a drug involved premises. A powerful Democratic senator approved the direct criminal activities to benefit her Lucas to benefit her Lucas Enterprise, according to General Audit. Odd Blanche said in a news conference announcing the charges, nothing that she also allegedly supervised the laundering of proceeds from the marijuana sales. He also said that Lucas is alleged to have used her political influence to demand and accept a bribe, demand and accept a bribe and attempt to influence Virginia legislation for the benefit of herself and her family. Also in the news conference, Blanche said that Lucas and the six other co-defendants were arrested. Or surrendered for allegedly participating in large-scale RICO drug trafficking and money laundering conspiracy, adding that they are currently in federal custody. Following the announcement of the charges, Lucas wrote in a post on X that she believes that the charges are political in nature and suggested that racial animus animise. Animis also played a role. I don't follow. Okay. I grew up under Jim Crow, she wrote, referring to a Collection of local and state laws that enforced racial segregation and ended in the mid-20th century. I've seen what happens when people in power try to silence those who stand up to them. While Lucas did not elaborate on how the charges relate to segregation, and that's kind of where my brain was at, she wrote that she will not be intimidated and will not back down. The charges were filed after the FBI in May searched Lucas' hometown office and a cannabis shop in which she had a stake. She confirmed at the time, at the time of the search, Lucas, who is a critic of President Donald Trump, characterized it as an attempt to intimidate her. A spokesperson for Lucas, Brian Wolfolk, chief counsel for the El Luis Lucas legal defense fund, told Media Outlets on October 2nd that the charges are the circus we always expected it to be, and we will wait for further details to have a more specific response. The 82-year-old Democratic lawmaker has spent decades rising through Virginia politics and has served in the United States Senate since 1992, where she is President Totempore, overseeing the chamber in the lieutenant governor's absence. She also leads the powerful Senate, the powerful state Senate finance committee through which all legislation with any budget impact must flow. An advocate of legalizing marijuana, Lucas. partnered in opening the shop, the cannabis outlet in 2021, selling hemp and cannabid oil, cannibal no no CBD, CBD products according to the local media reports. In quotes, let's talk about the pot, she wrote in a social media post on X in 2022. Yes, we legalized it. And I've even opened a cannabis outlet after we did. But the job isn't done. People are still in jail for something that is legal today. Earlier this year, Lucas re sponsored a bill SB sixty two that would create a process in which incarcerating individuals or those on community supervision for some felony offense, including marijuana related offenses, could get an automatic hearing to consider whether the sentence should be modified. While marijuana is legal to possess to to possess it in Virginia, recreational retail sales of the drug are not yet underway, though shops across the state do sell other cannabis derived products. Lucas also runs a network of companies that provide residential transportation and other services to adults with intellectual disabilities. Her biography on a state government website states FBI director Cash Patel told reporters in a news conference on the morning of October twenty second that the senator is truly in tone of hypocrisy for public office. During her time as a Virginia state senator, instead of enforcing the law, she was actually breaking the law as alleged in the indictment and And then using her position of power and public trust to defend and deflect against her own criminal enterprise, Patel said. Wolf's office and the FBI did not immediately immediately respond to an Epic Times request for comment on october twenty second. So if this all turns out to be true, that is just one level of corruption we're seeing within the government. Now, don't like, let's not forget that we had just talked about the $25 million, whatever it is, whistleblower fund that Trump put out. And remember, we were just saying there you go, you know, he he ran in his first term on we're going to drain the swamp. And I said, we are going to start seeing some crazy shit pretty freaking quickly. And wouldn't you know it? Here we are. I mean, this is like Mafioso type shit, what this woman was doing. I mean, and like let's not let's not ignore the elephant in the room here either. You're in a government position of power, okay? You make plenty of money, you have plenty of shit to do. You don't need any fucking side hustles, but you wanted to poke the fucking bear. So you go ahead and you open. This cannabis outlet place, or whatever the fuck it's called. Like that's very fucking cocky. That's very smug. Now, one would have to also assume, or just kind of wonder to yourself if this wasn't part of the plan all along. Like, I want to do this for a business. I know that there's money in it. I want to push this legislation, legislation through for my own benefit. And I'm gonna advocate for this because I see a profit in the future. Cause that's what the fuck it sounds like to me. But time will tell. This is this is kind of a bigger story and it's kind of just getting out there. Like I have not seen this floating around on social media yet. But I guarantee you, as some like nitty gritty details start coming out about this, it'll probably be all over your TikTok feed, Facebook Reels, everywhere. It'll probably be everywhere. So just thought that was a very interesting story. Producer Scooter, if you take us to break, we'll be right back. Hey, Producer Scooter here. First off, thank you for downloading and participating in the wide world of Jester Doo. Please be sure to check out Jestersvoice.com website. Don't forget to share the show with your friends and even with all your enemies. And now, back to the musings of Jester Doo. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Doom Daily Show. I am your host, Jester Dooms. Welcome back to the show. You know, I'm kind of stuck on this. I'm kind of hung up on this. We all know there's corruption within the government. Like, we all know this. And anybody that thinks that there's not corruption within government is absolutely crazy. And it's at every fucking level. Everything. From your local school board to your local PD, all the way up to being the commander in chief and being in the White House. There is corruption at every fucking level of government. And I'm not saying every single government worker is corrupt. And I'm not saying that every school board's corrupt. And I'm not saying that every police department is corrupt. I'm not saying those things. But just know that it is out there and it does exist. Fraudulent. Claims against people are going to start being a thing here very soon because of this $25 million whistleblower fund. A lot of people are going to throw mud at the wall just to see what will stick and what they can get away with. Now remember, when we read through that earlier in the week, we found out that that was pretty much for any corruption on any level, any fraud on any level from, you know, local government all the way up to big government and kind of everything in between. So you have to ask yourself, what are the things that we're going to see? And I think it's things like we just read in this article with Lucas that, hey, there's this operation going on. Shit's funny over here. And this individual's making a profit because of things that they did and they're hiding the money. And, you know, it's all drug related, whatever. And what's really interesting is, is there's I I don't know what the term for it is, but when people bring up When people bring up old crimes or or old things that have happened and they they they resurface and come to light again, like they resurrect these things. So I'm kind of wondering if we're not gonna see some shit come out now with this $25 million whistleblower program, if we're not gonna start seeing things come out about recent bad things that have happened in America within the last 30 years. Like, are we gonna have 9-11 whistleblowers come out and talk about companies that that benefited from the attacks on September 11th that had fraudulent things going on, right? Like insurance policies that insured things that didn't exist, things like this. I've heard some stuff about that already, but like in this fashion. Are we going to start hearing about like domestic terrorist situations where different people were paid off and people were paid paid to keep their mouths shut and people were paid to give false statements? Are we going to start seeing that come out? I mean, there's there's been a lot of things that have transpired in this nation that don't make a shit ton of sense. And this could be the thing that blows the lid off this. Now, when you talk about corruption within government, the one state that always comes to my mind is California. That is the one state when I think corruption in government, that is the one state that pops in my mind. And if you haven't done so recently, or if you haven't seen it recently, I should say, California just got in a little bit of shit. Because they found so many voting ballots from the last presidential election that were apparently linked to illegal immigrants. So illegal immigrant unregistered voters submitting ballots on a massive scale in California. And I didn't get to cover that one on the show because this came out when I was sick. But if you have been living under the rock and you haven't heard about it yet, you're hearing about it now. And I don't know all the ins and outs of this. I don't have the article in front of me, but go ahead, get on the internet, do some searching. But then shortly after that is when this whistleblower fund got released. So you might have people coming forward and talking. And that's the kind of things I'm talking about. This resurrecting of crimes past, this resurrecting of fraud, things that happened four years ago, six years ago, 10 years ago, 20 years ago. That people are gonna shed light back on that subject again and be like, this is what y'all didn't know about this happening. Now, just to reference that $25 million thing one more time, you know, you have to remember in there though that it states that, you know, when money is recovered and it states, you know, recovered funds and stuff like that. Once a crime gets so old, there's no funds to recover. You know, people spend that money. And I would I would be inclined to think that at some point in time. We're we are probably gonna the as the American people, we're probably gonna get a breakdown of how much fraud is actually taking place. Like once reports are being made, good statistical data of what was reported, what is expected, or not, I'm sorry, what was reported and what what they believe is the amount of fraud, right? And I would love to see those two numbers compared to see if this whole plan or program is actually going to make a difference. I want to believe it will. And with this story that we read on on today's show, it's got me thinking there's got to be a hundred more circumstances just like that. And we talk about these kind of things all the time on the on the show. It's like if, you know, it's it's this iceberg kind of theory. You know, we just see the surface of these things. We don't see how deep they really go. And answers don't come out quick enough when they affect people of power. Because you know, the governments and the media outlets know that with new bigger, badder, scarier, crazier stories and information that we as citizens of this nation forget. Like, think about it. It was, I don't know, 2021, 2020, 2021, something like that, when everything broke really bad with the Jeffrey Epstein stuff. Okay, that was five, six years ago when everything like broke bad, broke bad. And it was everywhere, all over the social media, everybody talking about it at work, like all of these things, right? And it got quieter and quieter and quieter and quieter. And then, you know, the flightless, the victimless, the statements, like all these things kind of come forward like little piece by little piece by little piece. Celebrities' names get dropped. They're still making movies. They're still doing shit. No one's being held accountable for anything. Maxwell's somewhere. She ain't talking. She knew who the clients were. She knew what was going on. And government officials are keeping things like that silent. Epstein. was not the only one. There's others. Just like Lucas, she's not the only one. There are others. There are more. Okay? These individuals working in rubbing elbows with with the people in power think that they can get away with anything. Think that they cannot be held accountable for their actions. Think that they are untouchable. And because of that mentality, their crimes continue to get more bold. They continue to become more brash people. They continue to do worse shit. I had a guy reach out to me about a year and a half or two years ago and said, Hey man, have you ever thought about growing cannabis on your property? And I said, No, why? He says, Well, I've got a friend who does CBD products. Like he has a business, he makes manufacturers and does all these things. He leases land and pays the landowners. And he says it's very simple. You sign a contract with the men, they provide, you know, with this company, they provide everything you need to get this going. And they come out, they collect the harvest, this, that, the other. Your job is pretty much just to, you know, fucking water things if they need to be watered and guarded. Like that's it. Like that's your job. And you get paid really well for it. And I forget what he said. was the payment per acre or per area. I can't remember what he said it was, but it was like really substantial. It was something like there was a yearly, there was a yearly lease for the amount of land. And it went, you know, quarter acre, half acre, full acre, something like that. I think it was in quarter increments. And each quarter was like a ridiculous amount of money. Like you're talking way more than a hunting lease, way more than, you know, growing corn or whatever. Like it was up there. And then you got a secondary payment, I believe at harvest time. And what it was was it was like a percentage of either what the value of that was or it went by weight or something. But you got so you got your lease and then you got like another piece of the pie when they would come to harvest and collect. And when I had talked to him and we, you know, we kind of ran the numbers on this. I'm like, shit, man, if I did this, I'd fuck, I could be sitting, you know, pretty pretty with this, you know, as a side hustle of money coming in. This would be great. The reason why Doom said, no, I'm not doing this, the reason why I said I'm not doing it is because the laws on this in my state are still really fuzzy, like very fuzzy, to the point where doing it may not necessarily be illegal in this fashion. However, if they decide to charge you with Any crime, they could stack this onto it or come after you for this. You get what I'm saying? And me, I'm a law abiding citizen. I'm not going to take the risk and be like, well, yeah, the laws are fuzzy. That's why everybody's getting away with doing it. Like, no, no, no. I'm not going to be that guy. I'm not going to be that one guy that says, yeah, let's do it. It seems like it's legit, and then come to find out, no, it's not. And that's, I bet, what this senator, this person was was doing. Like, yeah, we're kind of skating the edge of the law here with what we're doing, but fuck it, who cares? Who's gonna know? Well, now it's the fucking FBI. Anyway, I want to thank everybody for coming into today's show. Make sure to like, share, and subscribe. I hope you all have a lovely, fantastic weekend. Do me a favor, share this out on your Facebook page. Do that for me. Share it on Facebook. and we will be back here on Monday for another exciting episode of the Doom Daily Show.
