- 0:22Speaker 2: Andrew, how are you doing this morning?
- 0:25Speaker 3: It's a beautiful day.
- 0:26Speaker 2: It's a fantastic day.
- 0:27Speaker 3: It's a beautiful day. I think it's here. I think
- 0:29Speaker 3: spring's really here. We're ready.
- 0:31Speaker 2: We are super ready and super excited.
- 0:33Speaker 1: And speaking of exciting things, I'm playing, uh said the
- 0:36Speaker 1: go Gos?
- 0:37Speaker 2: We got the beat? They say, well, I'm playing the
- 0:38Speaker 2: go Gos. Two letters in there go.
- 0:42Speaker 3: You know I tried you, my friend are a professional.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I at least make an attempt.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Now you and I have Yeah, Yeah, we get to
- 0:53Speaker 1: We get to chat a bit before the show each week.
- 0:55Speaker 1: And and you had mentioned to me a new word
- 1:00Speaker 1: that I hadn't heard before, and I said.
- 1:01Speaker 3: What, but it doesn't know. Sean will usually hit me
- 1:05Speaker 3: up about six seven o'clock, Hey, what are we going
- 1:09Speaker 3: to talk about today? Yes. I gave him a word
- 1:12Speaker 3: that he's never heard of, and he sends me back
- 1:13Speaker 3: question mark, and I said, wouldn't you like to know? Yes,
- 1:16Speaker 3: and find out just way everybody else.
- 1:20Speaker 2: What is that word, Andrew? And why is it? Why
- 1:22Speaker 2: is it something we're going to talk about?
- 1:23Speaker 3: All right? So I've been wanting to talk about this
- 1:25Speaker 3: for the longest time, but needed to make sure that
- 1:30Speaker 3: the deal was done and our territory was secured. But
- 1:35Speaker 3: I wanted to talk about a product called go Nano.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Doesn't sound like anything that probably anyone's ever heard of. Yeah,
- 1:43Speaker 3: maybe sounds like a I don't even know, like a
- 1:45Speaker 3: robot or something like a Pokemon. There you go, yeah, Pokemon,
- 1:51Speaker 3: But it's not, so give you a little backstory. So
- 1:53Speaker 3: probably over the past I would say five or six years,
- 1:58Speaker 3: roof Coatings AS and Coatings co A, T I NG
- 2:03Speaker 3: have become more started becoming more popular, and there's another
- 2:08Speaker 3: there's a few different brands. They've probably been around longer
- 2:12Speaker 3: than I've noticed, but I'd say i've been five or
- 2:14Speaker 3: six years. I've really started paying attention to them. And
- 2:17Speaker 3: a couple of years ago I was at something called
- 2:19Speaker 3: IRA and it is the International Roofing Expo, and it's
- 2:24Speaker 3: basically where roofers from all over North America and the
- 2:28Speaker 3: world come to showcase their products, new products, innovation, what
- 2:33Speaker 3: you know, new things, right, Believe it or not, Roofing
- 2:35Speaker 3: is a big deal because what have I said before,
- 2:37Speaker 3: Everything we live in, sleep in, store, stuff in, do
- 2:40Speaker 3: business in. Everything needs a roof, and everything needs a
- 2:42Speaker 3: roof that is good. So I found this product called
- 2:45Speaker 3: Gonano and this was yeah, like three years ago. They
- 2:50Speaker 3: were brand new. I just thought, hey, it's another roof coating.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Like I knew what most of the roof coatings were.
- 2:56Speaker 3: They're basically like water and bio oils, which not a
- 3:01Speaker 3: bad thing. They're not bad. What they do is, you know,
- 3:04Speaker 3: our roofs get brittle, and they crack and they start
- 3:06Speaker 3: to lose granules, and then they get and then you know,
- 3:09Speaker 3: and then at some point it's time for a new roof,
- 3:11Speaker 3: usually somewhere between twelve and twenty years, depending on the shingles,
- 3:16Speaker 3: depending on the way everything was installed. So what roof
- 3:18Speaker 3: coatings will do are kind of rejuvenate the roof a
- 3:23Speaker 3: little bit. They bring it's almost like a almost like
- 3:27Speaker 3: a lotion and a sunscreen that makes sense, like it
- 3:30Speaker 3: kind of soaks in. It'll bring some color back to
- 3:32Speaker 3: the roof. It will bring some it will moisturize the roof.
- 3:36Speaker 3: It sounds really weird, but it's what it does. So
- 3:38Speaker 3: it kind of stops that cracking and brings more life
- 3:41Speaker 3: to the roof. Now go nano is different because I
- 3:44Speaker 3: was like, Okay, great, so I'm gonna spray some oil
- 3:46Speaker 3: on the roof, and like, is it really gonna do anything?
- 3:48Speaker 3: I wasn't really bought into it. Well, then when I
- 3:50Speaker 3: found go nano, it does some of the same things,
- 3:54Speaker 3: but it actually soaks into the asphalt and the fibers
- 3:58Speaker 3: of the shingle at a nano or at a nano level,
- 4:03Speaker 3: so a level that we can't see. That's why it's
- 4:06Speaker 3: called go nano. And it actually changes the molecular makeup
- 4:11Speaker 3: of a shingle. I am not a scientist. I know
- 4:14Speaker 3: that sounded really smart, but that's what it does. And
- 4:18Speaker 3: the reason I know that is because I've seen it
- 4:20Speaker 3: up close. I've seen the studies. What people are probably going, well,
- 4:24Speaker 3: who cares. Here's why it matters. Not only will it
- 4:28Speaker 3: heal cracking and drying of your shingles, it actually changes
- 4:33Speaker 3: the molecular make up the shingle, making it more elastic
- 4:37Speaker 3: interest And you might be saying, well, who cares. Here's
- 4:41Speaker 3: why it matters. It essentially makes your roof more resistant
- 4:46Speaker 3: to hail. So we sell a lot of hail resistance.
- 4:51Speaker 3: I can't even I probably shouldn't even use that term.
- 4:53Speaker 3: So we use a lot of Class four impact rated shingles,
- 4:57Speaker 3: meaning we always want to do what's best for the customer.
- 5:00Speaker 3: We know that we kind of have this throwaway mindset
- 5:04Speaker 3: when it comes to residential roofing in the United States.
- 5:07Speaker 3: It's you know, you put a roof on, it's good
- 5:08Speaker 3: for fifteen years, and you replace it. But what we
- 5:14Speaker 3: like to do is offer shingles that aren't going to
- 5:16Speaker 3: get wrecked from hal or have a much better chance
- 5:19Speaker 3: of not getting wrecked. And nothing's perfect. If you get
- 5:22Speaker 3: hit by one hundred mile an hour WINS and two
- 5:24Speaker 3: and a half or three inch hal, guess what put
- 5:27Speaker 3: a helmet on RH that's bad. But with most normal hail,
- 5:31Speaker 3: our class four impact rated shingles are going to resist that,
- 5:34Speaker 3: whether it is our GAF armor shield shingle or even
- 5:38Speaker 3: better F wave. I mean, I don't care what you
- 5:40Speaker 3: throw at that, it's not going to hurt it. This
- 5:42Speaker 3: is going to make your shingles more resistant to that.
- 5:44Speaker 3: So the reason why it's so perfect I told you
- 5:47Speaker 3: a couple of years ago. Well really last year we
- 5:49Speaker 3: really started our restore program. People need a repair, but
- 5:54Speaker 3: we feel like it's more of a restore. We want
- 5:57Speaker 3: to make sure that we fix everything up there because
- 5:59Speaker 3: most a lot I can say most of the time,
- 6:01Speaker 3: but a lot of times we get on a roof
- 6:03Speaker 3: and the shingles aren't bad, but they've got a leak.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Well that's just because something some things weren't done right
- 6:08Speaker 3: when the roof got installed originally. So now we're getting
- 6:11Speaker 3: up there after six or eight years and we're you know,
- 6:14Speaker 3: spent now a homeowner spending a couple thousand dollars to
- 6:16Speaker 3: get a good fix because the shingles are still still good.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Now we can take a close look at that roof
- 6:21Speaker 3: and go, okay, you're eight years old. We just restored it.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Now let's revive it. So one of the products through
- 6:28Speaker 3: go Nano is actually called Revive. So now that is
- 6:31Speaker 3: specifically made for those roofs that are like eight to
- 6:34Speaker 3: twelve years old to give you five more years of life.
- 6:38Speaker 3: So now we're spending a few thousand dollars fixing our roof,
- 6:42Speaker 3: and now we know for sure that our shingles are
- 6:45Speaker 3: going to last as well. Sean, I've wanted to talk
- 6:48Speaker 3: about this for months. The problem is is that we
- 6:52Speaker 3: needed to make sure I kind of go big or
- 6:55Speaker 3: go home type of thing, and you know, we we
- 7:01Speaker 3: They basically said, you know, we do starting territories of
- 7:03Speaker 3: one hundred and fifty thousand people. And I said, you
- 7:04Speaker 3: know what, am I supposed to do the northeast side
- 7:06Speaker 3: of Madison? Like, that's not going to work for me.
- 7:09Speaker 3: So it kind of took about a year. But now
- 7:13Speaker 3: besides besides one other dealer, yeah, there is actually a
- 7:17Speaker 3: dealer already in Lacrosse that's been doing it very successfully.
- 7:22Speaker 3: We have the entire state. So now if you want
- 7:26Speaker 3: this in Wisconsin, we can do it for you. We're
- 7:29Speaker 3: going to have a lot more videos coming out on
- 7:30Speaker 3: social media up close of what it actually does and
- 7:36Speaker 3: what it can do for your roof making it lasts longer.
- 7:39Speaker 3: So again, it's not something that's super expensive, and that's
- 7:42Speaker 3: what I love about it. We can get up there
- 7:44Speaker 3: and we can cult the roof and we can restore
- 7:46Speaker 3: your roof. Now we restore, we revive. Now you know,
- 7:50Speaker 3: roof's not going to leak anymore because we fixed the leaks.
- 7:53Speaker 3: We restored it, and now we've revived the shingles. So
- 7:56Speaker 3: where you might have had six or eight years left
- 7:58Speaker 3: on your roof, now we're just adding more life to
- 8:00Speaker 3: that because now we've brought it back to original state,
- 8:03Speaker 3: in fact actually made it better than it was originally.
- 8:06Speaker 2: That is absolutely amazing. I've got to ask you to
- 8:08Speaker 2: as we talked you now, I'm talking.
- 8:10Speaker 1: This morning with our good bar buddy Andrew Larsen from
- 8:13Speaker 1: Larsenal Services. The website Larsenhomeservices dot com Larsenhome Services dot com.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Make sure you check out the website. Also follow them
- 8:19Speaker 1: on social media. A lot more information about go Nano
- 8:22Speaker 1: is good. Gonna get put up and get out there
- 8:25Speaker 1: for folks as I I, as as many of you
- 8:28Speaker 1: are just learning about this great product from Larsenal Services. Andrew,
- 8:31Speaker 1: one of the things I wonder about too is obviously
- 8:34Speaker 1: prolonging the life of your roof is is good in
- 8:37Speaker 1: so many ways. Obviously you can save you money and
- 8:40Speaker 1: uh and of course save your home. Also also keep
- 8:44Speaker 1: keep things from landfill. But the other thing I was
- 8:46Speaker 1: wondering about, what about visually? I mean, is this is
- 8:48Speaker 1: this something is that you're applying it?
- 8:50Speaker 3: Does this?
- 8:51Speaker 2: Does this make your your roof look fresh?
- 8:53Speaker 3: Look new? Look? Yeah? Sorry, So in a lot of cases, yeah,
- 8:57Speaker 3: your roof starts to get older, it starts to fade.
- 8:59Speaker 3: So this is going to bring a little bit of
- 9:01Speaker 3: the richness back to your roof. I mean, I mean,
- 9:03Speaker 3: there's no guarantee that we're gonna make it's not going
- 9:05Speaker 3: to change the color of your roof, but yes, like
- 9:07Speaker 3: that is the point. It's it's going to probably darken
- 9:10Speaker 3: it up, meaning like bringing it back closer to where
- 9:13Speaker 3: it was. Hence the revive. Right, So we've taken it
- 9:17Speaker 3: and we've it's it's gonna look a little darker, a
- 9:20Speaker 3: little bit closer to where it was when we originally
- 9:22Speaker 3: put it on. It's going to start to heal up
- 9:24Speaker 3: some of that matte, that fiberglass matt cracking, which is
- 9:28Speaker 3: really the start of that roof getting just like us,
- 9:31Speaker 3: you know, lots of sun. When we start to get
- 9:35Speaker 3: wrinkles and cracks, we put lotion on. Ask my daughters.
- 9:40Speaker 3: There's like a hundred other products they put on. So
- 9:45Speaker 3: this is kind of like that for the roof, right,
- 9:47Speaker 3: it's like a facial It makes it look younger, it
- 9:50Speaker 3: makes it last, but makes it last longer, makes it
- 9:52Speaker 3: look better. So again doing what's best for the homeowner,
- 9:56Speaker 3: not getting up there and going, oh, ten year old roof,
- 9:58Speaker 3: you've got a leak, rip it off your place. No, no, no, no, no.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Let us find the leak. Let us fix that part
- 10:03Speaker 3: of the roof, because most likely the shingles. If the
- 10:06Speaker 3: shingles are bad after ten years, that's a whole nother problem.
- 10:10Speaker 3: And then we can use our gonano products and revive
- 10:13Speaker 3: it and bring life back to that roof after we've
- 10:16Speaker 3: fixed fixed up those leaks. So saving homeowners money, keeping
- 10:20Speaker 3: shingles out of landfills, it's a win win. Making your
- 10:24Speaker 3: shingles more hail resistant. Again, no guarantees that you can't
- 10:27Speaker 3: have hail damage, but it makes it more elastic. And
- 10:30Speaker 3: when we come into the home to show somebody it,
- 10:32Speaker 3: we're gonna be able to show you treated shingles and
- 10:34Speaker 3: non treated shingles and show the difference, show you that
- 10:37Speaker 3: it's more pliable, it's more elastic, and it's going to
- 10:41Speaker 3: withhold to weather events better. It's gonna hold up better.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Literally the complete package.
- 10:46Speaker 1: As we talked this morning with Andrew Larsen from lar
- 10:48Speaker 1: Stop Services, Andrew mentioned being able to show you that stuff.
- 10:51Speaker 1: It's a great day if you've got questions. Of course,
- 10:53Speaker 1: we've got some beautiful days ahead. What a great day
- 10:55Speaker 1: to get out in the yard and meet with somebody
- 10:57Speaker 1: from Larstom Services. Take a look at your roof, not
- 10:59Speaker 1: only from the outside, the look on the inside as well.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Check out your addict, make sure everything's performing well. Have
- 11:04Speaker 1: them assess your house. Take a look at it again.

- 11:32Speaker 1: bit too. You've been super excited and pumped about this.
- 11:35Speaker 1: I'm really excited for you, and I'm really excited for
- 11:37Speaker 1: the people you get to work with.
- 11:38Speaker 3: So really, I'm hoping my excitement came through the microphone.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Maybe not, but like I honestly think this is one
- 11:44Speaker 3: of the coolest things that I've ever that I've ever seen,
- 11:47Speaker 3: and people can get in at a price point that
- 11:51Speaker 3: it really really really makes sense. We don't really make sense.
- 11:54Speaker 2: We don't use the word revolutionary often enough. This is
- 11:57Speaker 2: definitely one of those.
- 11:58Speaker 3: They might be the next Amazon, This.
