- 0:19Speaker 3: sports shot show with Wayne Gandy.
- 0:23Speaker 4: You may began jo.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Comes, comes, it comes to moth?
- 0:33Speaker 2: Is it just I'm a doing? Yeah, I'm gonna go
- 0:40Speaker 2: on the way.
- 0:40Speaker 3: You may be welcome, Welcome, Welcome, And you're listening to
- 0:47Speaker 3: the Sports Shock Show.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I am the Sports Shock Wayne Gandy.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Good morning to you out there in listening land, and
- 0:54Speaker 3: Happy Thanksgiving to you. For you that still celebrate Thanksgiving.
- 1:00Speaker 3: I know some of you have turned it into friends
- 1:02Speaker 3: Giving or just have drawn a line through it completely
- 1:06Speaker 3: and moved on to Christmas. But for us few traditional
- 1:12Speaker 3: people that still observe Thanksgiving, and I guess in times past,
- 1:20Speaker 3: for a lot of people, Thanksgiving was one of those
- 1:23Speaker 3: times where you really had a four day weekend. Now
- 1:30Speaker 3: with all the lawsuits and court cases, companies have been
- 1:36Speaker 3: sued to where you got to get a week off
- 1:39Speaker 3: for your pet. Missing people got more time off. They're
- 1:46Speaker 3: in more control of their schedule. They can push all
- 1:49Speaker 3: their sick days into a bundle, and things like that.
- 1:54Speaker 3: From what I hear from my corporate American friends, they're
- 1:58Speaker 3: able to do that kind of switching out, so people,
- 2:02Speaker 3: I think that's some of it. And people used to
- 2:04Speaker 3: wait until the holiday season to do a vast amount
- 2:09Speaker 3: of their traveling. But now here in twenty twenty five,
- 2:14Speaker 3: if you give someone an extra twelve hours off, they.
- 2:17Speaker 5: Can almost find somewhere to.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Go now So holidays and the Black Friday thing that
- 2:23Speaker 3: would be tonight starts two days before Halloween, which has
- 2:29Speaker 3: kind of spoiled the whole anticipation of twelve midnight tonight,
- 2:35Speaker 3: which that's how a Black Friday started. It was one
- 2:38Speaker 3: of those things you sneak out in the middle of
- 2:40Speaker 3: the night stand in some line, kind of how twenty
- 2:43Speaker 3: years ago when the Jordan used to drop and people
- 2:47Speaker 3: would vacation outside of the store. That's kind of how
- 2:52Speaker 3: Black Friday. But now with ordering online six weeks before
- 2:57Speaker 3: Black Friday, a lot of traditions falling to the wayside,
- 3:03Speaker 3: and people get mad when you try to stick to
- 3:05Speaker 3: a little tradition. That's what's so funny. I match you, Greg,
- 3:08Speaker 3: Big Kenny Bad Producer all in the building whip me today.
- 3:11Speaker 3: One of the things that is funny that you can
- 3:13Speaker 3: get stoned for trying to have a tradition in this country.
- 3:19Speaker 3: But the tradition that's been around a long time is
- 3:22Speaker 3: Thursday football. Now with the money bag owners in the NFL,
- 3:27Speaker 3: the Shield, over the last handful of years, we've expanded
- 3:31Speaker 3: it to three games. It was one game when it
- 3:36Speaker 3: initially started. That folded into two games where they split
- 3:39Speaker 3: the Lions and the Cowboys and they let them have
- 3:43Speaker 3: home games and sent them opponents. And now in the
- 3:48Speaker 3: Martin Age there is a third game. So at one
- 3:50Speaker 3: o'clock Green Bay. The Packers in all these games line
- 3:54Speaker 3: up and usually they don't to have some significance or
- 3:59Speaker 3: very entertain hating people. Green Bay at the Lions. Two
- 4:04Speaker 3: teams that still feel like they can win their division.
- 4:07Speaker 3: That's at one. The Chiefs and the Cowboys. Cowboys are desperate,
- 4:13Speaker 3: but when you watch the Chiefs, they're not the Chiefs
- 4:16Speaker 3: from three years ago. That's at four point thirty, and
- 4:19Speaker 3: then the night cap and maybe cool Joe Burrow may
- 4:24Speaker 3: show up tonight. He's been out since what week two
- 4:30Speaker 3: something like that. He got hurt, so he is back.
- 4:33Speaker 3: As week twelve thirteen, the Bengals taking on the Ravens.
- 4:38Speaker 3: The Ravens and the Stellers are six and five tied
- 4:41Speaker 3: for that AFC North, So Ravens with Lamar Jackson back
- 4:46Speaker 3: trying to pick up the pace. And then just so
- 4:50Speaker 3: if you're still eating some leftovers, tomorrow at three o'clock,
- 4:55Speaker 3: the Bears will take on Philly.
- 5:00Speaker 5: I think that's officially the Black Friday game.
- 5:03Speaker 2: So wait wait wait, wait wait wait, like that officially
- 5:07Speaker 2: officially Black Friday game, Like there were like other Black
- 5:11Speaker 2: Friday games that they had rolled.
- 5:14Speaker 6: That they put a label on it, a name on it,
- 5:18Speaker 6: the Black Friday.
- 5:19Speaker 5: Because how many games did they used play? Well they
- 5:21Speaker 5: should have did the Raiders the Black Hole.
- 5:23Speaker 2: But if you're.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Taken, But what makes it black Friday now other than
- 5:27Speaker 3: you calling it Black Friday?
- 5:30Speaker 5: Mm hmm, yeah, because you got the cyber Monday. Qui quick,
- 5:33Speaker 5: qui quick, qui quick, quick, quick quick.
- 5:34Speaker 3: No, not not saying what you call what I'm saying.
- 5:36Speaker 3: It's really just a question I'm posing out there.
- 5:38Speaker 5: Because it's on Friday, and it's yeah.
- 5:41Speaker 3: You got rid of the tradition of Black Friday.
- 5:45Speaker 5: Right because it's earlier.
- 5:47Speaker 3: You want to leave the moniker of it, but not
- 5:49Speaker 3: actually deal with it, like this Black Friday, all right,
- 5:53Speaker 3: but this is the real Black Friday.
- 5:55Speaker 5: Okay, I like it because he was still got it.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Chicago Philly is just a Friday now it is. It's
- 6:03Speaker 3: just Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. You spoiled all the
- 6:07Speaker 3: things that made it Black Friday. So I know the
- 6:11Speaker 3: bad producer coup with that. But I like things to
- 6:13Speaker 3: be what they are, not just because you call it.
- 6:18Speaker 3: I tell people all the time, it's time to rename
- 6:21Speaker 3: the Auburn Alabama game, which is this weekend. It is
- 6:23Speaker 3: really not the Iron Bowl. But made it the Iron
- 6:27Speaker 3: Bowl that it was played in Birmingham, and on you
- 6:31Speaker 3: when you moved it from Birmingham, it stopped. It ceased
- 6:35Speaker 3: being the Iron Bowl. It's Auburn versus Alabama, and you
- 6:41Speaker 3: can brand it to be something else. But in a
- 6:45Speaker 3: generation people will be questioning why is it called Iron Bowl?
- 6:50Speaker 5: And then they give them the history of that the
- 6:52Speaker 5: Iron that Birmingham is the Iron City. Yes, right, yes,
- 6:56Speaker 5: but it's not playing Birmingham.
- 6:57Speaker 2: That's the point, and the history lesson is lost and
- 7:04Speaker 2: the fact that it is now moved and they still
- 7:06Speaker 2: play here.
- 7:07Speaker 3: Here's the kicker, guys. It hasn't been played in Birmingham
- 7:12Speaker 3: since I was a senior. That's how long, which about
- 7:18Speaker 3: three decades. Three decades. You're just calling it the Iron Bowl.
- 7:25Speaker 3: My senior year, that's when they broke the contract. My
- 7:28Speaker 3: junior year we played in Birmingham, the Iron Bowl Alabama.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Remember that team, that defense? Raise your hand if you
- 7:39Speaker 3: want some, because we only give up six points.
- 7:41Speaker 2: A game, so you RAI you had real load though.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Remember they would be in people eight to six. You
- 7:47Speaker 3: was just hoping again, it was just it was you know,
- 7:50Speaker 3: some people argue the greatest college that was ninety two.
- 7:53Speaker 3: In ninety three, they came to Auburn. My senior year
- 7:57Speaker 3: we beat them. That was the last time thirty two
- 8:02Speaker 3: years ago.
- 8:03Speaker 2: But it just sounds so good and advertising the Iron Bowl.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Well, it's just a trip to Auburn at this point.
- 8:11Speaker 2: What would it call What would they call it now
- 8:12Speaker 2: if you had to give it a new name?
- 8:16Speaker 3: Something now, something I guess maybe is popular for the
- 8:20Speaker 3: state of Alabama.
- 8:21Speaker 5: What would that be, I don't know their.
- 8:23Speaker 2: National something that would be popular for the state of
- 8:25Speaker 2: Alabama as far as a bird or oh you were
- 8:29Speaker 2: asking questions, something other?
- 8:31Speaker 3: You know, the pie of the state. I don't know
- 8:33Speaker 3: what what what is? Does do we have? Like does
- 8:37Speaker 3: Georgia have a state?
- 8:38Speaker 7: Pie?
- 8:39Speaker 5: What is our?
- 8:40Speaker 2: I would think that, I think everyone because didn't we
- 8:42Speaker 2: just didn't we just adopt Brunswick stew as the official state.
- 8:47Speaker 3: I think I think Georgia. I would imagine it's either
- 8:49Speaker 3: Pecan or Peach.
- 8:52Speaker 5: It should be Peacan Pecan.
- 8:55Speaker 3: What do people like to get in that battle? You
- 8:57Speaker 3: said one way, I said the other.
- 9:01Speaker 2: It's just the reason some people don't celebrate Thanksgiving because
- 9:05Speaker 2: it's always one at the table. Want to just you know,
- 9:08Speaker 2: come on, man, you really have to get into that
- 9:11Speaker 2: right now.
- 9:12Speaker 3: It's just how it is. But that is going on
- 9:15Speaker 3: on Saturday, a lot of rivalry games. The season is
- 9:18Speaker 3: coming to a conclusion for college as far as the
- 9:20Speaker 3: regular season. Some of those games are today, Tomorrow and Saturday.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Just a weekend full of sports, as typically it is
- 9:29Speaker 3: around this time of year, Thanksgiving, a lot of people
- 9:32Speaker 3: off work, a lot of entertainment. One game I want
- 9:35Speaker 3: to advertise, I'm calling the game. I'm the color analyst
- 9:38Speaker 3: for GPB because it's the biggest game as far as
- 9:42Speaker 3: rankings I have called since I've been working on the
- 9:45Speaker 3: high school circuit. Hear in Georgia, and as I boldly
- 9:49Speaker 3: tell people on the game broadcast, when you're watching, you're
- 9:54Speaker 3: watching a lot of nflers and you're talking about Georgia football.
- 10:00Speaker 3: It is a lot of names, a lot of brand
- 10:02Speaker 3: names that are in the NFL. And this Friday, seven
- 10:09Speaker 3: thirty gp B, you can catch the number one ranked
- 10:14Speaker 3: team in about three publications USA Today, Max Prep. Which
- 10:20Speaker 3: is so odd because those two.
- 10:23Speaker 8: Have it.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Grayson number one, but the Georgia ranking has them number three.
- 10:30Speaker 3: It's the crazyest thing, but they're not ranked number one. Carrollton,
- 10:37Speaker 3: the former home of Juju Lewis, I'm sorry to tell
- 10:42Speaker 3: you there's another kid, bick Kenny, I've been, I've been
- 10:45Speaker 3: forgetting to tell you they got another freshman. His name
- 10:49Speaker 3: is CJ. Seipher the Cipher. Yeah, and where we don't
- 10:56Speaker 3: know what Coach King is finding these guys, but he
- 10:59Speaker 3: don't went and found him, uh taller, bigger Juju. And
- 11:04Speaker 3: so look for CJ. Sidher here on your radar. Colleges
- 11:08Speaker 3: in a.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Minute, and Carrollton's taking on Grayson. Grayson and Rams will
- 11:12Speaker 2: take on Calton. What now Grayson is number one and
- 11:18Speaker 2: in a lot of national in the country and Carrollton's
- 11:21Speaker 2: number eleven eleven. Now, how is it that they because
- 11:26Speaker 2: we know the power of marketing and and the big
- 11:30Speaker 2: draw that sports is. How is this that GPB was
- 11:33Speaker 2: able to hold onto this game? Did they not know
- 11:36Speaker 2: that these ranks?
- 11:36Speaker 3: Well, it's the third round of the playoffs and GPB
- 11:39Speaker 3: has playoffs locked.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Yeah, it is because otherwise you know, espny man, listen, man,
- 11:48Speaker 2: don't got you, let me let me.
- 11:53Speaker 9: Not.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Don't be like that, don't be like just you know,
- 11:58Speaker 2: just tune into the game me.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Uh if you Grayson's linebacker, Tyler Atkinson.
- 12:04Speaker 10: Uh.
- 12:04Speaker 3: He he's the best football player I have seen since
- 12:07Speaker 3: Travis Hunter in the state of Georgia. And you see
- 12:12Speaker 3: where Travis Hunter is now. Wow, So since Travis Hunter,
- 12:16Speaker 3: this young man he plays linebacker. He's headed the Texas Uh.
- 12:20Speaker 3: He is the real, uh deal at the linebacker spot.
- 12:25Speaker 3: We'll be back with more to Sports Jock Show right after.
- 12:27Speaker 4: This man at his craft. But then his number came
- 12:31Speaker 4: up and he was gone with the draft. He's in
- 12:33Speaker 4: the army. Now I'm blowing Revelle. He's the Bogey Woge
- 12:37Speaker 4: Bugle Bara Company. They made him blow his uncle Sam
- 12:41Speaker 4: and it really brought him down because he couldn't jam
- 12:44Speaker 4: the cathazine to understand.
- 12:48Speaker 11: John Boy, Wayne Board of the Sports John Show with
- 12:51Speaker 11: Wayne Ganti is coming up next.

- 15:44Speaker 2: Completely different level this year.
- 15:46Speaker 12: Where we highlight an accolade that has taken their game
- 15:49Speaker 12: to the next level.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Welcome back to thiswe Shock Show. I'm the Spy Shock
- 16:07Speaker 3: Wayne Gandy. Good morning to you out there listening land,
- 16:11Speaker 3: Happy Thanksgiving. UAB offensive lineman accused of stabbing two teammates
- 16:18Speaker 3: before Saturday's game. This was last Saturday, made his first
- 16:21Speaker 3: appearance appearance before a judge Monday via zoom from the
- 16:27Speaker 3: Jefferson County Jail. Twenty year old red Shirt freshman Daniel
- 16:32Speaker 3: Menzi is charged with attempted murder joh Zeer Peterson and
- 16:38Speaker 3: with first degree assault of Josh under Wood. According to
- 16:43Speaker 3: the court records, at judge set Minzi's bond at ninety
- 16:49Speaker 3: thousand dollars. And that's one of the parts of it
- 16:53Speaker 3: that stood out to me. There hasn't been a story
- 16:57Speaker 3: that I have read that has brought a lot of
- 17:00Speaker 3: light to what brought Daniel Mintsey to twenty year old
- 17:03Speaker 3: to stab these gentlemen, but attempted murder for one, first
- 17:09Speaker 3: degree of assault for the other. So that's facing a
- 17:12Speaker 3: lot of time. It was like ten in the morning
- 17:15Speaker 3: when this happened, so you feel like, if you you know,
- 17:20Speaker 3: something must have happened the night before, but until we
- 17:24Speaker 3: get a little more clarity of what happened, and it
- 17:26Speaker 3: just was a, you know, one of those things that
- 17:29Speaker 3: spoiled over to the next morning. I don't know how
- 17:32Speaker 3: you woke up with stabbing somebody, but maybe they had
- 17:35Speaker 3: an argument, but first degree attempted murder or a twenty
- 17:38Speaker 3: year old and first degree assault. Now the bond part
- 17:41Speaker 3: is something interesting. I wanted to ask you guys last
- 17:44Speaker 3: show we had because Patrick Beverley, the former NBA point guard,
- 17:53Speaker 3: got into an altercation it seems with his sister. A
- 17:57Speaker 3: lot of spotty details about that walk. Maybe he was
- 18:01Speaker 3: trying and felt like he was trying to protect her
- 18:03Speaker 3: in a sense, but something happened where they got into
- 18:06Speaker 3: a fight. She alleged that he choked. He got arrested.
- 18:10Speaker 3: His bell was forty thousand dollars for assault. Antonio brown
- 18:19Speaker 3: To what was that about? Ten days ago? Two weeks ago?
- 18:23Speaker 3: His bell was only twenty five thousand dollars and he
- 18:28Speaker 3: was charged with first to tempted. So the tree in
- 18:35Speaker 3: this situation of bond cost it kind of confused me
- 18:41Speaker 3: how someone Michael Patrick Beverley for a salt was forty
- 18:50Speaker 3: but and Tonio was twenty five for first degree murdered
- 18:59Speaker 3: attempted murder would think that in that situation would be
- 19:03Speaker 3: at least reverse right or how does that sometimes work?
- 19:07Speaker 3: If any of you have that understanding.
- 19:09Speaker 5: It's the broken system. It's a broken here.
- 19:13Speaker 3: The is it based on stated?
- 19:16Speaker 2: I believe it's based on state and your your district attorney,
- 19:21Speaker 2: and all of those A lot of times. From what
- 19:25Speaker 2: I understand also is that a great many of those
- 19:31Speaker 2: things are already put into law, so you can't switch
- 19:36Speaker 2: it up when it becomes a situation where well, he
- 19:40Speaker 2: only did this, you know what I mean, the crime
- 19:44Speaker 2: that's listed, the bond that's listed under this crime will
- 19:47Speaker 2: cost you this much. So if until a state votes
- 19:52Speaker 2: that to be different, or they change the law, it's
- 19:54Speaker 2: going to always be. I don't think there's a floating
- 19:57Speaker 2: scale for.
- 19:57Speaker 5: Bond, now, would you?
- 20:00Speaker 3: Tempted murder doesn't really seem like something you should be
- 20:03Speaker 3: able to get bonned for?
- 20:05Speaker 5: Is it give you a second shot?
- 20:06Speaker 2: No? I literally give you another. I mean, you know,
- 20:12Speaker 2: tempted murder means I lucked up and got away, and
- 20:15Speaker 2: now you're finna let him out to get another chance
- 20:18Speaker 2: at maybe getting me.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Yeah, bab command, you do you think that a tempted
- 20:24Speaker 3: murder could be something you get bonned for?
- 20:28Speaker 6: It's got to be higher than said twenty five thousand. Yeah,
- 20:32Speaker 6: that's what I thought.
- 20:33Speaker 5: I meant higher than that.
- 20:37Speaker 3: I jump over this table at you and I try
- 20:39Speaker 3: to kill you, and they come and get me. Should
- 20:44Speaker 3: I be able to bond out. Would you as the
- 20:47Speaker 3: person mean improving if would you as a person that
- 20:51Speaker 3: just got uh, someone just tried to kill you? I
- 20:56Speaker 3: feel like I should be able to bond out innocent
- 21:02Speaker 3: to proven guilty and the producer for one for for
- 21:07Speaker 3: for just a segment that's not We're none of us
- 21:09Speaker 3: are Richard Pryor Okay, so just for like one minute,
- 21:15Speaker 3: no jokes, just really, I jump across this table with
- 21:18Speaker 3: a knife, I go to try to kill you. Do
- 21:24Speaker 3: you think you know? And I know and you see
- 21:29Speaker 3: me I'm trying to kill you. Do you think I
- 21:32Speaker 3: should be able to get bonned?
- 21:38Speaker 2: Hmm?
- 21:38Speaker 6: I would say, well, no, no, no.
- 21:43Speaker 2: No, you just stabbed me at ten o'clock in the morning.
- 21:47Speaker 2: What come on, mar but god man stop. But and
- 21:52Speaker 2: then after all of that, after me, and then you
- 21:55Speaker 2: went and stabbed him and checked him up too, and
- 21:58Speaker 2: then there go trying to kill them both. Well, how
- 22:01Speaker 2: much you want to give him ninety thousand has nine g's?
- 22:05Speaker 2: You got that, you got nine g's, throw that at
- 22:08Speaker 2: him and you back out. You can have Thanksgiving dinner
- 22:11Speaker 2: at the house tonight. And I'm sitting up somewhere stitched
- 22:15Speaker 2: up with maybe. Uh, now, you shouldn't be allowed to
- 22:19Speaker 2: bond out, but you can.
- 22:22Speaker 5: You should I.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Be able to bond out?
- 22:26Speaker 2: You shouldn't.
- 22:27Speaker 3: But because I ask for the butt, I.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Just asked for yes or no for one time in
- 22:32Speaker 2: the show because.
- 22:34Speaker 20: I just want to make sure yes, you should be
- 22:36Speaker 20: able to start.
- 22:37Speaker 3: This segment, you said something wrong with the system. Yeah, right,
- 22:40Speaker 3: what's wrong with the system is that we put the
- 22:43Speaker 3: butt down.
- 22:43Speaker 2: He said you should be able to bond out? He
- 22:45Speaker 2: said yes, his yes answers. Okay, so you should be
- 22:48Speaker 2: able to burn out?
- 22:49Speaker 3: Yea, yeah, okay, Yeah, Yeah, that's all I wanted to
- 22:53Speaker 3: That's all I wanted.
- 22:54Speaker 2: The law is something that can be changed daily. Yes,
- 22:58Speaker 2: that's why. So that's why that don't make it the
- 23:01Speaker 2: right law.
- 23:02Speaker 3: It doesn't. And that's all I'm saying. Should you be
- 23:04Speaker 3: able to come in my house tonight, rap my twelve
- 23:09Speaker 3: year old and bond out in the morning. And it's
- 23:15Speaker 3: the same thing. That's why I'm asking Commandie and you
- 23:18Speaker 3: personally command you go to his car. I shoot him.
- 23:24Speaker 3: I tried to kill him. I just a bad shot.
- 23:29Speaker 2: He's in icee.
- 23:30Speaker 21: You.
- 23:31Speaker 3: I'm home, eating to Durkin and watching the lion's game.
- 23:36Speaker 3: And see what I'm saying about is backwards that it
- 23:39Speaker 3: seems that the perpetrator has more rights than the victim.
- 23:44Speaker 2: But those are philosophical, moral, emotional issues.
- 23:49Speaker 3: The law.
- 23:50Speaker 2: The reality that we live in is this psychle that
- 23:53Speaker 2: can eat to Durkin tonight while I'm sitting up there
- 23:57Speaker 2: with the big smoking and you in there barely making
- 24:10Speaker 2: Hey passed me the bro America.
- 24:13Speaker 3: So you wonder the people that went to make this
- 24:16Speaker 3: law how they get to the mindset, because they must
- 24:19Speaker 3: not have used themselves as first person man. And that's
- 24:24Speaker 3: how I just right, That's how I come to decision.
- 24:27Speaker 2: First person laws made it unfair.
- 24:31Speaker 5: That's that's what they started calling that unfair.
- 24:33Speaker 3: You robbed me, okay, but when you go to try
- 24:37Speaker 3: to kill somebody, you need to sit to your trial.
- 24:41Speaker 3: This is my opinion. We'll be back more than Sports

- 26:49Speaker 10: On the Radzo.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Running Welcome back to the sword Shock Show. I'm the
- 27:20Speaker 3: swart Shock Wayne Gandy. Good morning to you out there
- 27:23Speaker 3: and listening land. Happy Thanksgiving. Uh, we had a good
- 27:26Speaker 3: topic right there. Just wanted to sometimes, you know, because
- 27:31Speaker 3: we're well, it's the law. Well you're supposed to discuss
- 27:34Speaker 3: the law. We pay a lot of people money to
- 27:37Speaker 3: just go to these capitol buildings and have a conversation.
- 27:42Speaker 3: And to me, sometimes you can't get to the route
- 27:45Speaker 3: because you don't start back at the beginning. And that's
- 27:48Speaker 3: why I tried to have each of you, gentlemen, use
- 27:51Speaker 3: yourself as the first person of it. And how would
- 27:55Speaker 3: you feel if the crime was perpetrated that somebody should
- 28:00Speaker 3: bond out that you're sitting across in court or looking
- 28:04Speaker 3: at knowing he just did that and which I am
- 28:09Speaker 3: about attempted murder. We denied beil to people in recent
- 28:13Speaker 3: years here in our country. Did he who did not
- 28:18Speaker 3: attempt murder?
- 28:19Speaker 5: No?
- 28:20Speaker 3: No, And I have no sympathy for Diddy because this
- 28:23Speaker 3: is not one of those things they did Diddy wrong. No,
- 28:25Speaker 3: I'm just saying his one is not even attempted murder,
- 28:30Speaker 3: and you denied him bond But in two of the
- 28:35Speaker 3: three cases we just spoke on you allowing people to
- 28:40Speaker 3: bond out.
- 28:41Speaker 2: I tried to kill somebody and then ran so and
- 28:46Speaker 2: then I ran far too. I ain't like run next
- 28:49Speaker 2: door or to the next town over. I was in
- 28:52Speaker 2: a whole nother luxury situation somewhere else.
- 28:55Speaker 20: And came back, being from Chicago. Asked the question, and
- 29:01Speaker 20: you've been on that other side. Now, somebody attempted to
- 29:05Speaker 20: get you, get your your one of your team members,
- 29:09Speaker 20: then they bond out. Now you tell and you find
- 29:12Speaker 20: out they bond out. What are you and your team
- 29:14Speaker 20: about to go do?
- 29:15Speaker 2: Listen, Twitter, we now, I'm saying because being serious too,
- 29:21Speaker 2: I'm what I told you earlier is we start at
- 29:25Speaker 2: the fact that wrong is wrong. Somebody try and hurt
- 29:28Speaker 2: somebody and they bond out and me go to hurt
- 29:30Speaker 2: them back. All of that was and is wrong. There
- 29:36Speaker 2: is no justifying in the eyes of the law, you
- 29:38Speaker 2: can bond out. I have hurt people, and in all
- 29:43Speaker 2: of this beef, we end up in jail together, and
- 29:45Speaker 2: the people I hurt I bond out before they get out.
- 29:49Speaker 2: I'm actually outside trying to get them bonded out, sending
- 29:53Speaker 2: my own bail bondsmen to bond these people out. All
- 29:56Speaker 2: of that is wrong. All of that. That's the point.
- 30:00Speaker 2: The law is set up that I could actually send
- 30:04Speaker 2: a bondsman to bond out someone I want to hurt.
- 30:08Speaker 2: That's wrong. That's wrong. The fact that I'm hurting people
- 30:13Speaker 2: and even out is wrong.
- 30:15Speaker 5: That's all I'm saying.
- 30:17Speaker 2: And just because it's the law didn't make it right.
- 30:20Speaker 2: I benefited from it, and in my warped state of
- 30:24Speaker 2: justification and denying my responsibility, it made sense to me
- 30:29Speaker 2: at the time. But I'm better now and I'm recognizing
- 30:35Speaker 2: that even then it was wrong. That's what I'm saying.
- 30:39Speaker 2: There is no okay, I get it. It just it
- 30:43Speaker 2: was wrong, bruh, and I was wrong And to all
- 30:46Speaker 2: them people that were affected by it, I can't make
- 30:49Speaker 2: that right with them, folks. Now, I got to live
- 30:51Speaker 2: with that. I can't make that right with myself. I
- 30:54Speaker 2: got to live with it. That's what I'm saying. We
- 30:56Speaker 2: live in in that reality that that dude shames some
- 30:59Speaker 2: people pull up and he can get bond tonight, I'm saying,
- 31:03Speaker 2: he's straight shaped up his teammates. We was cool to
- 31:06Speaker 2: about ten thirty yesterday morning. What happened me, I'm saying
- 31:12Speaker 2: twin what happened? We was cool and then all of
- 31:15Speaker 2: a sudden, you having dinner with your people and they
- 31:19Speaker 2: coming up with your defense strategy, and my folks then
- 31:24Speaker 2: lost their appetite.
- 31:27Speaker 5: And that's what I'm saying.
- 31:28Speaker 2: So you know, I don't know how to rationalize it
- 31:32Speaker 2: outside of theirs right and wrong and sometime wrong win.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Bad stuff happened to good people all the time, bro,
- 31:40Speaker 2: trust me. If anybody knows, I know, it's just as
- 31:45Speaker 2: I said. Seems that perpetrators find themselves to have more
- 31:50Speaker 2: sympathy than the victim. Yeah, in these kind of cases, yeap,
- 31:58Speaker 2: as simple as the man and that case where the
- 32:02Speaker 2: lady drowned the two kids.
- 32:05Speaker 3: About thirty years ago, Smith and the husband the last
- 32:11Speaker 3: couple of years, she gets to go before the parole board,
- 32:15Speaker 3: and the husband goes and he gives the same speech
- 32:19Speaker 3: that his pain hasn't ended, so she don't get to
- 32:23Speaker 3: get out. It's really how things should be manner, I,
- 32:29Speaker 3: as the person who got the victim, I really should
- 32:33Speaker 3: be the one dictating what happens to you. You can
- 32:39Speaker 3: set the limits, but what happened that little girl or
- 32:45Speaker 3: that little boy. She'd set the limit two years is
- 32:50Speaker 3: not enough for that little choir boy, for the bishop.
- 32:55Speaker 3: But you have come up with a system that makes
- 32:57Speaker 3: it seem like, Okay, it's been many years since that happened,
- 33:01Speaker 3: and Bishop winning fed some people what they got to
- 33:04Speaker 3: do when I was eight.
- 33:08Speaker 5: It's just one of those things.
- 33:09Speaker 2: We'll move on this Thanksgiving guys. Yes it is. So
- 33:13Speaker 2: we could be having these discussions around the Marshall folk
- 33:20Speaker 2: the Hall of Famer.
- 33:21Speaker 5: What's up, marsh marsh.
- 33:23Speaker 3: My man, we were the same draft class, good friend
- 33:26Speaker 3: of mine. He's out of New Orleans, uh, And now
- 33:30Speaker 3: it looks like he's going to go back to Southern
- 33:34Speaker 3: and take on the Reins as the head coach. He
- 33:38Speaker 3: has been the running backs coach here for Colorado this season,
- 33:42Speaker 3: and even Marshall as I was always surprised when he
- 33:45Speaker 3: went back to the sideline for Dion. Even Marshall says
- 33:50Speaker 3: the same thing I knew about him. Uh, he just
- 33:53Speaker 3: really didn't get into coaching because football had consumed so
- 33:56Speaker 3: much of his time. And he knows it takes that.
- 34:00Speaker 3: As much as we try to fight, you can shave
- 34:03Speaker 3: maybe forty five minutes a day. That's probably what they
- 34:07Speaker 3: feel is unnecessary.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Well, I'm saying, and then that's gonna torture you wondering
- 34:11Speaker 2: what you could have been getting done in that forty
- 34:13Speaker 2: five minutes. I could have, man, you know what, I
- 34:16Speaker 2: could have at least.
- 34:17Speaker 3: Just ran that one more. Yeah, I'm saying, but the
- 34:20Speaker 3: coaches aren't too far off now. We could have just
- 34:22Speaker 3: maybe you know, seit of six in the morning, we
- 34:25Speaker 3: could have got here at six thirty and still leaving
- 34:27Speaker 3: at nine thirty at night. We could have left at nine.
- 34:30Speaker 3: But the other real the thirteen to fifteen hours was
- 34:33Speaker 3: actually what it was gonna take. Marshall didn't want it,
- 34:36Speaker 3: but now he's headed to southern out We already know
- 34:39Speaker 3: Mike Vick. How is Mike vicktt Norfolk Steak? I know
- 34:42Speaker 3: the last time I saw uh, they had only won
- 34:44Speaker 3: like maybe three games.
- 34:46Speaker 5: I don't know what their record is now. I know
- 34:49Speaker 5: Delaware State beat them with DeShawn.
- 34:53Speaker 3: Jackson, and I was gonna say, DeShawn, what is Deshawn's
- 34:55Speaker 3: and Mike record.
- 34:56Speaker 5: At Mishaw's has a better record?
- 35:00Speaker 3: Shawn Jackson, former Eagle, former Ram He is now the
- 35:04Speaker 3: Delaware State coaches his first year there. Mike Vickett, Norfolk State,
- 35:08Speaker 3: Eddie George. I saw him on a cliff. I think
- 35:12Speaker 3: he was four and eight this year at Bowling Green,
- 35:15Speaker 3: the Heisman Selcial winner. He was at Tennessee State. Norfolk
- 35:19Speaker 3: State is one and eleven. Uh Delaware State. Oh, Mike's
- 35:24Speaker 3: only won one game. One game, Listen, that's why you're
- 35:28Speaker 3: looking at like Moses, I want to.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Ask, he said. He I know, I know this probably
- 35:36Speaker 2: ain't got nothing to do with but it do kind
- 35:39Speaker 2: of a little shift to give in all of these
- 35:43Speaker 2: hir rings and these high profile coaches going to these HBCUs.
- 35:48Speaker 2: A lot of talk about the equity in sports, and
- 35:53Speaker 2: when there's in fl and the high profile coaching level,
- 35:57Speaker 2: you know, the coach shouldn't have got fired, and there's
- 35:59Speaker 2: there's always racism, and people talk about the when Dion
- 36:02Speaker 2: went out to Colorado and the high profile and how
- 36:05Speaker 2: they didn't want the I was watching TV and saw
- 36:12Speaker 2: HBCU football matchup. It was North Carolina Central, I think
- 36:17Speaker 2: against one of those of Virginia school something like that
- 36:23Speaker 2: in North Carolina Central starting quarterback as a white kid.
- 36:27Speaker 5: How come, how come no.
- 36:28Speaker 2: One has said anything about go go diversity, go go equity.
- 36:35Speaker 20: Well Central, that quarterback is a white kid. Nobody wide receivers.
- 36:41Speaker 2: And nobody said anything though, I'm saying if if, and
- 36:44Speaker 2: they own the to. They demanded the acknowledgement that Dion,
- 36:51Speaker 2: a black coach, was going to a quote white school
- 36:54Speaker 2: and becoming. They demanded that these coaches get their fair
- 36:59Speaker 2: shake at these other But when when Shador got put
- 37:03Speaker 2: behind a dude who was drafted ahead of him, it
- 37:06Speaker 2: was racism because they demanded that it's the white kid
- 37:09Speaker 2: at the h b c U starting at quarterback. And
- 37:13Speaker 2: nobody has said anything. I'm not don't say, don't say
- 37:23Speaker 2: they don't be like that, Twin.
- 37:26Speaker 5: I've been.
- 37:28Speaker 2: Asking them a damn we even sitting here with me
- 37:34Speaker 2: the whole time, Twin, I've asked you.
- 37:37Speaker 3: North Carolina, that's Kenny's the question. I think underneath all that?
- 37:44Speaker 3: Why has there been no acknowledgement?
- 37:47Speaker 2: I've asked that to whom, to the people that graduated from.
- 37:51Speaker 5: Centain we have.
- 37:52Speaker 2: We have a whole sports platform here where you can

- 40:33Speaker 3: hope you're matching the energy that we're bringing here today.
- 40:36Speaker 3: The one thing I just found out in a quick
- 40:38Speaker 3: five seconds is the bad producer wants bond, so he
- 40:41Speaker 3: can murder the person that did him wrong. So, as
- 40:48Speaker 3: I've always told you guys, I am the snitch and
- 40:52Speaker 3: I'm saying this hopefully to put it in the air
- 40:55Speaker 3: that the DA can come and get it. So when
- 40:57Speaker 3: he tries to say to keep him from going out
- 40:59Speaker 3: to somebody because he thinks it's a game where I
- 41:02Speaker 3: want the person who bonded the bond out so I
- 41:05Speaker 3: can go kill them. Not something I would recommend for
- 41:13Speaker 3: my friend.
- 41:16Speaker 2: You never been handed a witness list my brother witness list.
- 41:19Speaker 3: My brother who just walked away from a horrific moment
- 41:22Speaker 3: in his life the other day. When he sent me
- 41:25Speaker 3: the picture, I was in awe that the angel was
- 41:30Speaker 3: even able to allow him to escape that. That's why
- 41:34Speaker 3: my first questions to him was physically.
- 41:37Speaker 2: And mentally mentally, I need to know how some stars
- 41:42Speaker 2: we wear people can't see because car accidents can cause
- 41:45Speaker 2: some trauma too on the mind. Yes, they have made
- 41:49Speaker 2: people not want to drive and make people not won't
- 41:53Speaker 2: even get on the highway. I know a couple of
- 41:54Speaker 2: people will only go on the city streets.
- 41:57Speaker 3: They okay doing the extra thirty minutes getting to the
- 42:01Speaker 3: airport down Peace Tree, and you know they don't care
- 42:06Speaker 3: what ways it's saying. Yeah, so, you know, just interesting.
- 42:12Speaker 3: But I just wanted to make sure that but Big
- 42:13Speaker 3: King wants to know why. I just want to that
- 42:16Speaker 3: sometimes you have to step in for your friends, friendship
- 42:19Speaker 3: and friendship in he.
- 42:20Speaker 2: Said, like he said, like it's funny, but until you
- 42:23Speaker 2: didn't have somebody go with. These are the witnesses and
- 42:27Speaker 2: you get to be on some well, you don't really
- 42:30Speaker 2: understand what it's like. Bro, you don't really understand, and
- 42:33Speaker 2: you should never have to understand.
- 42:36Speaker 3: George Pickens of the Cowboys, the receiver formerly of the Stellers,
- 42:40Speaker 3: having a couple of you know, good games here, really
- 42:44Speaker 3: as as talented as a receiver as anyone else in
- 42:48Speaker 3: the NFL, just between the neck and the top of
- 42:52Speaker 3: his head, just like his comments about the Philly fans
- 42:58Speaker 3: using the N word and things like that.
- 43:01Speaker 2: In his post. But there was a story it said
- 43:04Speaker 2: that it was AI.
- 43:08Speaker 3: Post. George is saying he didn't make the post. I
- 43:11Speaker 3: don't know, maybe it shakes out that he did. And
- 43:15Speaker 3: there was a report that maybe AI and I was
- 43:16Speaker 3: gonna My question was not about George. It was more
- 43:19Speaker 3: about because it is this something within the rams that
- 43:24Speaker 3: AI can do are we in? I'm just putting out there.
- 43:30Speaker 3: I'm not saying George didn't do it. He could be
- 43:34Speaker 3: using that as his defense. I'm asking you, is it
- 43:37Speaker 3: something that can happen? How do I know when I'm
- 43:40Speaker 3: reading something that is actually the person.
- 43:46Speaker 2: And not AI.
- 43:48Speaker 5: It's hard, I mean, it's it's tough with the chat peet.
- 43:51Speaker 2: Hold on because y'all don't get some of this. Gregg. Look,
- 43:57Speaker 2: what does that look say?
- 43:59Speaker 5: And looks say I can bond out?
- 44:01Speaker 2: That's the look. Yeah, that's the look. I can bind
- 44:05Speaker 2: bond out, Twin I can bond out. It ain't gonna
- 44:09Speaker 2: make you feel good. It ain't gonna make nobody happy
- 44:12Speaker 2: on your side. But I got to darkin and I'm
- 44:15Speaker 2: sparking up and we spending the block tonight. That's what
- 44:19Speaker 2: it means. How you know, how you know it ain't right?
- 44:23Speaker 2: How you know it ain't wrong?
- 44:24Speaker 3: Come on, twin out, don't get mad, Tito can somebody?
- 44:27Speaker 3: Could this be somebody's ability to use AI to make
- 44:30Speaker 3: this look like it's George picking. All I was gonna
- 44:34Speaker 3: say was from what you know, it's not possible.
- 44:37Speaker 5: It's not because it would have to be someone that uh,
- 44:42Speaker 5: because this is this is this sounds like the my
- 44:45Speaker 5: Twitter got hacked. This that old someone knowing your password,
- 44:50Speaker 5: and that means you're not protecting any of your of
- 44:53Speaker 5: your accounts.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Shop that's not being stop stop just just being careless.
- 44:58Speaker 2: Tell that to Equifax. Tell that to the Department of
- 45:00Speaker 2: the Defense or the Department of War. All kinds of
- 45:05Speaker 2: is sold to Well, no, I'm saying, tell that to
- 45:07Speaker 2: Social Security Administration. All of the AT and T right
- 45:11Speaker 2: now is settling a class action lawsuit because their information
- 45:15Speaker 2: was hacked and distributed. What I'm saying is when you're
- 45:18Speaker 2: talking about AI, when you're talking about somebody hacking, we
- 45:22Speaker 2: go all the way into what they call a deep fake.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Even the AI people don't know that it's AI. It's plausible.
- 45:29Speaker 2: That's all that matters. We're talking about the law. That's
- 45:31Speaker 2: all that matters is it's a plausible deniability.
- 45:36Speaker 20: He's not protecting it. You got to run that stuff,
- 45:40Speaker 20: you gotta protect that. This can be the excuse, that's
- 45:48Speaker 20: that old excuses like when Twitter first came out, Oh
- 45:50Speaker 20: I didn't write that, that was my personal assistance.
- 45:52Speaker 5: They had my full.
- 45:53Speaker 3: AI is not advanced enough yet, not yet to make
- 45:57Speaker 3: it seem like AI is hacking you know how they
- 46:01Speaker 3: know how they know how they I told you to
- 46:05Speaker 3: say that.
- 46:06Speaker 5: Listen, let me. All you need is the excuse.
- 46:09Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying, the same way when it used
- 46:12Speaker 2: to be somebody hacked my Twitter, now it's somebody manipulated AI.
- 46:18Speaker 20: And and now there.
- 46:23Speaker 5: Because you said something so maybe you shouldn't have said so.
- 46:26Speaker 20: Now it's just now I'm blaming on AI. It's a
- 46:29Speaker 20: rental car. I don't have my personal assistance.
- 46:33Speaker 2: I don't have to believe you. Hey, look it's a
- 46:35Speaker 2: rental car. I don't know where the drugs in the
- 46:37Speaker 2: trunk came from. That's what I'm saying. I don't have
- 46:39Speaker 2: to believe you. I don't know who had the car
- 46:42Speaker 2: before me. Bro, it's a rental car. It's a rental car.
- 46:45Speaker 2: That's how the drugs go under the seat. All of that,
- 46:53Speaker 2: and and and and my kJ so I don't understand.
- 47:03Speaker 2: Oh he's crazy, this is crazy. So I'm just saying, well,
- 47:09Speaker 2: it may have been him, but to say that it
- 47:12Speaker 2: is AI because now wait, now, we just saw someone
- 47:15Speaker 2: win in a court of law about having themselves displayed
- 47:20Speaker 2: in flattering ways nudity and how they use AI to
- 47:26Speaker 2: manipulate people's images, and now they've got whole laws covering
- 47:30Speaker 2: that stuff. So for this man to have done something
- 47:33Speaker 2: unpopular and then blame it on AI is the same
- 47:36Speaker 2: as when someone misses a pass and people start going, oh,
- 47:40Speaker 2: he's betting. Maybe he's never betting in his life. But
- 47:43Speaker 2: because it exists in your mind that it's possible and
- 47:47Speaker 2: it has happened, doesn't mean it couldn't happen again.
- 47:49Speaker 5: That gives you the ability to save my bad.
- 47:52Speaker 3: We'll be right back. Were more to Sports Jock Show
- 47:55Speaker 3: right after.

- 49:04Speaker 7: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs,
- 49:07Speaker 7: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 49:10Speaker 7: It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 49:14Speaker 7: with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 49:17Speaker 7: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 49:21Speaker 7: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 49:24Speaker 7: This isn't an AD to scare you, but it is
- 49:26Speaker 7: an AD to make you think twice. Get the facts.
- 49:30Speaker 7: Go to real deal on fentanyl dot com. This message
- 49:33Speaker 7: is brought to you by the Ad Council.
- 49:37Speaker 27: And now back to the sports. John Wayne Gamby.
- 49:42Speaker 28: Center cord on sports news gossip blah blah blah blah blah.
- 50:16Speaker 3: Wake back to this what shop showing this what shock
- 50:18Speaker 3: wing cant this Thursday. It is Thanksgiving one o'clock Green
- 50:23Speaker 3: Bay versus the Lions, the great game to kick off
- 50:25Speaker 3: the day with right there, and then the Chiefs and
- 50:28Speaker 3: the Cowboys at four point thirty Bengals against Lamar Jackson.
- 50:34Speaker 3: Joe Burrow maybe a citing for him tonight in that
- 50:38Speaker 3: game for the Bengals. Only six games left in the
- 50:41Speaker 3: regular season. As I said, the college regular season coming
- 50:45Speaker 3: to it in this weekend. I know it seems like
- 50:48Speaker 3: it's you know, it's still a lot good to go.
- 50:51Speaker 3: You know, we got the twelve game playoff and blah
- 50:53Speaker 3: blah blah bol games and on how we you know,
- 50:55Speaker 3: so we still got time to go. But this is
- 50:58Speaker 3: the last weekend rivalry week were some teams. It's still
- 51:01Speaker 3: in effect. A lot of places have kind of warded
- 51:04Speaker 3: that got rid of that tradition.
- 51:06Speaker 5: They've moved that.
- 51:07Speaker 3: But fortunately enough, my Auburn Alabama rival is still intact.
- 51:12Speaker 3: I know Georgia at tact. Georgia is still intact, as well.
- 51:15Speaker 5: As still some out there state Michigan.
- 51:18Speaker 3: This some still are part of our factors of America.
- 51:22Speaker 3: Congratulations to Bernie Coshauk. He was able to receive a
- 51:26Speaker 3: liver transplant. He was doing sixty one years old, doing well.
- 51:32Speaker 3: He was in dire need. Made me think about the
- 51:36Speaker 3: did the young the not young? But did Nate Robinson
- 51:41Speaker 3: did he ever receive he needed something like that kitney?
- 51:45Speaker 3: I thought he needed a kidney. I think it was
- 51:47Speaker 3: a kidney.
- 51:47Speaker 5: Kenny has he has he ever? I haven't heard anything about.
- 51:51Speaker 3: Okay, when I saw Bernie, I thought of him as well.
- 51:54Speaker 3: I always think of Alonzo Mourning and his issue. Unfortunately,
- 52:01Speaker 3: I think the young man that went to North Carolina
- 52:04Speaker 3: he passed away one of the power forwards or something,
- 52:09Speaker 3: or was it North Carolina.
- 52:10Speaker 2: Or Due.
- 52:12Speaker 20: It was Alvin Right from waite for you're talking about
- 52:15Speaker 20: Rogers from waite Forest because he had some kidney stuff
- 52:17Speaker 20: after he got paralyzed.
- 52:19Speaker 5: I have to look it up.
- 52:20Speaker 20: Talking about somewhere in the last Eric Montreal, Yeah he
- 52:25Speaker 20: go to North Carolina.
- 52:26Speaker 5: Yeah he was Okay, yeah big mont know, I'm saying,
- 52:29Speaker 5: I'm making sure ynt Yeah, double zero. Nate Robinson did
- 52:33Speaker 5: get a kidney transplant. That it was back in February.
- 52:36Speaker 3: Okay, But Eric Montross did he or he passed away?
- 52:40Speaker 2: Yeah, he died.
- 52:41Speaker 5: He was a cancer.
- 52:42Speaker 3: Yeah, he had cancer. Had back on that.
- 52:44Speaker 5: I just knew.
- 52:45Speaker 20: Yeah, names, but there was I don't know if you
- 52:48Speaker 20: remember Alvin Rodgers who played for the Rotten Right now.
- 52:53Speaker 2: There was album Football Rottney Rogers.
- 52:54Speaker 20: Okay, that's what I thought you were talking about him
- 52:57Speaker 20: because he had kidney and paralyzed.
- 53:00Speaker 5: When he passed away a few days ago.
- 53:02Speaker 3: Okay, So some guys still here with a lot to
- 53:05Speaker 3: reflect on and be happy on. Very thankful, yes to
- 53:09Speaker 3: even see this Thanksgiving. Chris Paul, the twenty one year
- 53:14Speaker 3: old speaking of wake Force twenty one years and the
- 53:18Speaker 3: NBA is going to step down, from what reports say,
- 53:22Speaker 3: after this season. He's with the Clippers now, twenty one years,
- 53:28Speaker 3: Hall of Famer. You know, one of those guys that's
- 53:30Speaker 3: in the top five and assists and points. Never was
- 53:34Speaker 3: able to get that hand on a ring, but definitely
- 53:38Speaker 3: a guy that lived up to everything we thought he
- 53:42Speaker 3: could be. Out of Wake Force, Paul.
- 53:46Speaker 2: When you don't get the ring, and we see it
- 53:48Speaker 2: sometimes with NBA guys, I'm sure there's a point maybe
- 53:53Speaker 2: three four years after you've decided, man, I'm probably not
- 53:57Speaker 2: gonna get this ring that you continue to play and
- 54:00Speaker 2: maybe there'll be a spark and is there just a
- 54:04Speaker 2: time catches up with you and you're going, look, I
- 54:06Speaker 2: need to stop chasing this ring? Or is it because
- 54:14Speaker 2: Chris Paul seems to have at many times in his
- 54:19Speaker 2: career been in a position to grab that magic moment.
- 54:25Speaker 2: But and we see some players, in my opinion, keep
- 54:29Speaker 2: trying to go from team to team to team and
- 54:31Speaker 2: it might happen here, it didn't happen this season.
- 54:33Speaker 5: I'm gonna go over here. I didn't happen this season.
- 54:35Speaker 2: But he's just deciding is there a acceptance that makes you
- 54:40Speaker 2: walk away or what is the final.
- 54:45Speaker 3: Well Typically, in a case like older player, what happens
- 54:50Speaker 3: first and foremost is that after about ten years, the
- 54:55Speaker 3: guys that get drafted don't pay out. They allow you
- 55:02Speaker 3: to stay around, okay, because somebody has to take that spot.
- 55:06Speaker 3: But you know, this point guard didn't pan out. We
- 55:10Speaker 3: didn't to be you know, a guy. We thought he
- 55:12Speaker 3: was gonna be somebody like a Seth Curry or Marcus
- 55:16Speaker 3: t you know, just whoever came along.
- 55:19Speaker 2: They didn't pan out.
- 55:20Speaker 3: So when they don't pan out, it gives that old
- 55:22Speaker 3: veteran a little more chance the competition is not and
- 55:27Speaker 3: Chris Paul was so fundamentals. Guys that have a lot
- 55:32Speaker 3: of fundamentals, they get more longevity because they they can
- 55:40Speaker 3: you can count on fundamentals when the other physical things
- 55:44Speaker 3: start to diminish. Guys that are just playing on raw
- 55:48Speaker 3: athletic that means that when that falters, you don't have
- 55:52Speaker 3: the technique right to be able to do you know.
- 55:56Speaker 3: So Chris Paul is just in these last couple of
- 55:59Speaker 3: years a standard point guard. But the technique, the general
- 56:03Speaker 3: that kind of stuff is what made him a superstar
- 56:06Speaker 3: on top of the talent. I would imagine it's like anyone,
- 56:10Speaker 3: we're all chasing a ring when that comes into play,
- 56:15Speaker 3: because some it only comes into play late, like a
- 56:18Speaker 3: David West. I remember you saying his name was on
- 56:20Speaker 3: the list. Remember he was at the Pacers, and then
- 56:23Speaker 3: he went almost like a ninety percent pay cut to
- 56:27Speaker 3: go somewhere because he was only gonna play another year
- 56:32Speaker 3: or two and he was willing to do it at
- 56:34Speaker 3: basement price to get into I mean he I mean
- 56:38Speaker 3: he went to league minimum, like cut me and then
- 56:41Speaker 3: I'm gonna go to this other team where I might
- 56:42Speaker 3: get a ring or league minimum and.
- 56:45Speaker 6: You see some some players do that. Some players like
- 56:48Speaker 6: try to do that, but it doesn't always. There's always
- 56:51Speaker 6: like Blake Griffin went to the Nets when they had
- 56:55Speaker 6: Kevin Durant and James Harden and Kyrie that didn't work.
- 56:58Speaker 6: Then he went to the Celtics. They lost in the
- 57:02Speaker 6: conference finals. They won the championship the next year, but
- 57:04Speaker 6: he retired and then they won the championship the next year.
- 57:07Speaker 6: So it's kind of like the it's trying to narrow
- 57:11Speaker 6: down that that decision to Okay, I think this team
- 57:15Speaker 6: is going to win a championship, But a lot of
- 57:17Speaker 6: times these guys they guess wrong.
- 57:20Speaker 3: And you're still because you're still counting on a team
- 57:25Speaker 3: to win for you and not you.
- 57:29Speaker 2: You could have you can be the MVP.
- 57:31Speaker 3: How many MVPs didn't win the year they won an MVP.
- 57:35Speaker 3: You can go out to have an MVP season and
- 57:38Speaker 3: come up very Coach of the Year and don't even
- 57:40Speaker 3: get to the championship. So Chris Paul, thank you for
- 57:44Speaker 3: all the likes that you gave us on the quartering.
- 57:46Speaker 3: You're still out there, so it's not like you're gone.
- 57:48Speaker 3: I'm quite sure will as the season progresses, people will
- 57:51Speaker 3: start having things to celebrate him. Twenty one years in
- 57:55Speaker 3: the NBA will be back with more than Sportshock Show
- 57:58Speaker 3: right after this.

- 1:00:52Speaker 3: twenty Tomorrow Friday's game, which is I think at three o'clock,
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: the Bears and Philly. All of these teams really outside
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: of the Bengals are in playoff contentions. I know the
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: Dallas is, you know, kind of a little tough.
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: They got to win about four.
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: Of these last six games to get in maybe, but
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: a lot of good talent here on Thanksgiving for the NFL.
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: A lot of rivalry games as well, will be played
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: today tomorrow on Saturday, big high school games seven thirty.
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: If you're not doing anything on Friday, you could pull
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: up GPB. You can actually go on YouTube and catch
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: the game as well. Grayson, the Rams right there in
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: Georgia number one, and the rankings nationally taking on the
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: national rank to Carrollton Trojans who are eleven. We talked
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: about the different coaches Eddie, George, Mike Vic, Deshaun Watson.
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: Looks like Marshall falk is going to get into action
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: at Southern some of your bitting or you forgot Marshall
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: falk Is from New Orleans is going home. We talked
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: about the UAB player that kind of led us to
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: a conversation. The UAB player Daniel Mintsei attempted murder, aggravated
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: first degree assault, stabbing two teammates on Senior Day. That's
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: the way to remember your senior year getting stabbed in
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: the locker room while you for your last game senior day,
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: two players ninety thousand dollars Bun. That was a great
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: conversation about where Bun should be in our society at
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: this point. George Pickens and Will's at Ai for his
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: comments about the cheese steaks and in word. I think
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: that's what really stood out that he used the in
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: word in describing the cheese steaks. Bernie colesall we talked
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: about the transplant, Chris Paul announcing he will retire after
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: this season as well, my former head coach with the
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: foul well one of the three. I did have three
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: head coaches here, which is at which is rare, which
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: is rare. I was here three years and had three
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: head coaches.
- 1:03:04Speaker 5: That's what I'm saying. That's all I wanted to say.
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: That's all.
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: Well, the gentleman that brought me here, Jim Mora, my man,
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: Jim Mora been he's been at Yukon here last six seven,
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: eight years. He is going to take that Colorado State job,
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: uh and be the new head coach out there. Congratulations
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: coach is Jim Mora, So congratulations to him. Interesting story
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: with Colorado. Maybe I should hold this for later and
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: let's get to some comments because I want to ask
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: you all opinion of how should it be fair that
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: a team gets to test in this situation. Juju lewis,
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: we talked about Carrollton and now they get to test
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: and see how much he can play. And now they're
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: going to save his last game now that they are
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: not going to a bowl game to let him be
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: a red shirt. It doesn't seem like he should be
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: able to play that much in them.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: But now that sounded like making up the ruleses when
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: you go, okay, that's play a game. But I'm gonna
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: be the one that with the ball. But you can't
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: touch the ball. But it's my ball all the time.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: But I'm gonna throw it to you. But if I
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: want it back, you got to give it to me.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: Is this a real?
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: Something? That's no?
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: This is real?
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: The Colorado quarterback Juju Lewis to sit fine finale to
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: preserve his red shirt year. And to me, when I
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: the red shirt used to be you dress and as
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: long as you didn't get into you had to declare
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: red shirt after your first three games. The coach used
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: to have three games start the season to see whether
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: to get a little taste of oh, we're not gonna
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: use him or wet, we'll hold him back, and then
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: you end up on the red shirt. I was red shirt,
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: So you dress out for three games, you go out.
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: But to me to be able to.
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: Linger, how many games has he been it he started.
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: Like three and he played and played another one.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: And so and just now you go, no, no, And
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: I'm like, you know, so, I'm driven the car from here.
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: To so bas basically as I keep saying, just let
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: anybody come back. Johnny Manzielle should be able to go
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: play football.
- 1:05:29Speaker 5: Why not?
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: Well, if y'all have changed the lax the rules to
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: this far, this man has been in uniform every game
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: for Colorado. He started three and he's gotten into two
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: I know of. But he's still eligible for red shirt.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: And that's all.
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: That's all.
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: If he played four games, started or not, I know.
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: I thought the max was yeah, because I was going
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: to tell you, well, he was in uniform. I thought, well,
- 1:05:58Speaker 5: this so he started three, he played in another one,
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: but he was in uniform behind all of all of them.
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: And you see that's what I was going to The
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: third quarterback at least.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: And that's James. And I'm not being trying to Oh
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: it's super old. I'm saying you had three games to declare,
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: and now you're saying I can dress you as long
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: as I don't use you.
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: Well, and that's what I let me.
- 1:06:27Speaker 20: That's been done. No, this is that question. No, why
- 1:06:29Speaker 20: I was gonna tell you just found out this year.
- 1:06:31Speaker 20: It's all across the board because one of my family member,
- 1:06:34Speaker 20: his son, he played in mckeitchrin. He went to John
- 1:06:36Speaker 20: Sixsmith for his Charlotte. He played like the first two games,
- 1:06:40Speaker 20: and then I asked him bout him. He said, well,
- 1:06:41Speaker 20: they're gonna red shirt him then like six games. Then
- 1:06:44Speaker 20: they had a big game going for the championship game
- 1:06:47Speaker 20: see Double A champions Oh, they're gonna let They're gonna
- 1:06:49Speaker 20: let him play because they needed to play.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: I thought he was gonna red shirt.
- 1:06:53Speaker 20: That's when I just found out that you can like,
- 1:06:55Speaker 20: he played the first two games, decided they're gonna red
- 1:06:57Speaker 20: shirt him, and then oh, we need him in this
- 1:06:59Speaker 20: big game like game seven eight in the year, Oh,
- 1:07:02Speaker 20: we're gonna throw him in. And I think that's the
- 1:07:03Speaker 20: same thing that what they're doing now I don't know
- 1:07:06Speaker 20: when they, Like you said, I thought the rule was
- 1:07:08Speaker 20: it had to be before the first three games, and
- 1:07:11Speaker 20: then you on the sideline the rest of the year.
- 1:07:13Speaker 20: You can practice and do everything else, but there's no
- 1:07:16Speaker 20: more dressing out, so we don't have that chance to
- 1:07:20Speaker 20: put you in the game and mess up your red shirt.
- 1:07:22Speaker 6: It's just playing for it, because it could be like
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: if if the guy you said said if he played
- 1:07:26Speaker 6: two games, it's like, okay they red shirting. Okay, we're
- 1:07:30Speaker 6: gonna bring them back for this game. Yeah that's game three.
- 1:07:32Speaker 6: Yes they wait.
- 1:07:35Speaker 20: But but like what Wayne's I'm over with sports jock saying,
- 1:07:37Speaker 20: it used to be that you had to hey, at
- 1:07:40Speaker 20: the game.
- 1:07:40Speaker 5: Number three, you ain't seeing no more suit time you over.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: There, and.
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: You could play in those three games. It's just about
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: a fourth game you had to declare whether this guy
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: was on the.
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: Roster or not the and they relaxed.
- 1:07:59Speaker 20: Then you could go in, oh I need this big body,
- 1:08:03Speaker 20: or one of my guys got hurt, my main lineman
- 1:08:05Speaker 20: got hurt.
- 1:08:06Speaker 5: Oh I got the red shirt. He got a couple
- 1:08:08Speaker 5: more players.
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: But you see the NCAA shifting gears and changing rules
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: overnight for other stuff like this gambling thing. So why
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: wouldn't they just start to it seems like rules are
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: only enforced if they benefit me. So if I can
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: come up with a red shirt rule that saves me
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: some eligibility and get me other words you saying is
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: golf is you got twenty five rules but amendments.
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: And see, I'm just saying it used to give you,
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: even as a player, understanding that almost like you're on
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: the roster. Yeah, there's no one to put in but
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: you it kind of clarified for a player, right which
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: path they were on this season. And now it seems
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: that you're just kind of manipulating the player and the
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: assistant on the system. I mean, everybody getting manful be
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: able to say, oh, okay, he ain't qualified yet, just
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: don't put him in the game.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: There ain't nothing wrong with him.
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: He's just you know, think about the NBA and the
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: NFL with the medical list. I can't just hold a
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: guy out. I gotta tell you, I gotta make a mandate.
- 1:09:22Speaker 5: You can't.
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: You know, you can't just tell a healthy player he
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: can't play. I got to give you an excuse.
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: You you have to find an injury. The other day.
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: We got some coming from our online listeners.
- 1:09:41Speaker 20: Yeah, we got romantic Romalds candy. Happy Thanksgiving guys, my

- 1:10:23Speaker 3: the system.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: This man violated me with his words.
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: Johnson, did you have a conversation about setting up see
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: his words.
- 1:10:35Speaker 20: About my words violated my probation. Ain't that sounds We

- 1:18:13Speaker 3: forty nine years old, Big Kenny, your weekend assignment is
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: Sage still so you have some fun watching sports stage
- 1:18:26Speaker 3: steal this fifty.
- 1:18:27Speaker 5: I'm gonna need to play by play years old. I'm
- 1:18:30Speaker 5: gonna need to play by play?
- 1:18:31Speaker 32: How did you?
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: Sage? Let me make sure you can get into the
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: game and bad producer your weekend assignment if you choose
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: to accept it, kind of like mission impossible?
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: Is Robin given? Sixty one? Oh I'll go with that,
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: you know, I Robin given? So those are your assignments,
- 1:18:53Speaker 3: you know?
- 1:18:53Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll do better than anddie Murphy
- 1:18:56Speaker 5: and Mike would.
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: Yeah, of course you will look at the two ends
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: of the spectrum. Eddie Murphy and Mike Tyson. If they
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: couldn't put up with it, you'll probably Yeah, it's it's
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: just the weekend.
- 1:19:11Speaker 5: Getting the game might as well.
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: Nine a year old Lee Corso says he hates retirement.
- 1:19:20Speaker 3: Corso College game Day, and I'm quite sure you do. Lee,
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: You're coach, and then you were on that show for
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: so long. I'm quite sure nothing fills that gap, especially
- 1:19:31Speaker 3: if he's still tuning into the game.
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and watching the guys put the head off.
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: And people really understand, especially when you have the job
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: you want and having a lot of fun.
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: At it, and and and and the retirement just to
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: that point just resonated with me. To have the job
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: you want, I ain't talking about a job that you
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: really like and it's it worked out. I'm about from
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: when that time you were thinking about what when infinite
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: possibilities were still real, And to be doing that thing
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: and then have to leave that thing. People can't really
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: understand that until they've done that thing. It takes the
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: first It takes the first part to understand the second part.
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: El Duncan is leaving ESPN. It looks like Netflix is
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: going to start some kind of sporting division on Netflix.
- 1:20:32Speaker 6: Well, yeah, I mean they've they've been shown, they've shown
- 1:20:34Speaker 6: a couple of NFL games, they've been having the boxing events.
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: But they look like they're maybe going to expand to
- 1:20:41Speaker 3: some type of.
- 1:20:43Speaker 6: Twenty four hours sports or El Duncan is going to.
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: Now how much sports? How many sports contracts are out there?
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: To TV deals, streaming deals are there to be made,
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: Like there's everybody now has got some sort of dreaming
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: package for the same core sports.
- 1:21:04Speaker 5: How many deals are there to be made? How because.
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: Watching the NFL on ESPN and ABC and CBS and
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: Prime and Christmas and Netflix is coming.
- 1:21:17Speaker 5: Netflix, and I think, to let me watch it one.
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: Time they've had the boxing on.
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: That I'm saying, now, so how many times when it
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: used to be the HBO And now I'm getting all
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: of these same sports, but everybody's distributing these some of the.
- 1:21:33Speaker 20: Same company Pseudo you know, Viacom and and it just
- 1:21:37Speaker 20: seemed like a lot.
- 1:21:38Speaker 3: Like I think, I think the thing that we have
- 1:21:41Speaker 3: circled the globe of life to get to a point
- 1:21:44Speaker 3: where sports rules entertainment. Yeah, fully, to the point we
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: almost wiped out the movie industry.
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: You're paying for the same games on separate services now sports.
- 1:22:02Speaker 3: You can see it even in the commercials Queen Nick
- 1:22:06Speaker 3: Saban and Dion and the Manning Brothers, it's almost it's
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: almost a face of an athlete. Derek Jeter with the
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: little commercial Patrick Mahomes selling it's almost you know, man
- 1:22:19Speaker 3: selling you, right.
- 1:22:20Speaker 20: I even like the Caitlyn Clark commercials with State Farm
- 1:22:23Speaker 20: commercials are good.
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just the pitch men and women have become
- 1:22:30Speaker 3: synonymous with athletes. Hollywood has kind of phased out. Live
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: concerts are back. Remember when they the DJ is back?
- 1:22:40Speaker 3: DJ fell off, So it's you know, but they're going
- 1:22:44Speaker 3: to give you all the sports they can. I mean
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: think about it. We've talked about them having what's the
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: thing you throw a little.
- 1:22:51Speaker 20: Bags professional and it started as.
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: On ESPN two I believe what a sports doc show
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: right after this sponsored by Bush's Baked Bean. That's that's
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: who sponsors.
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: Don't go away.
- 1:23:24Speaker 11: More of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Gazdios comming
- 1:23:27Speaker 11: up next.
- 1:23:29Speaker 33: Hurting the Game, We tough it out, feel exhausted, we
- 1:23:33Speaker 33: push on, feeling down. We pull ourselves up by the bootstraps.
- 1:23:39Speaker 33: But there are times when bootstraps aren't enough when stress
- 1:23:42Speaker 33: gets to us and we need to talk to someone
- 1:23:44Speaker 33: about what we're really going through. So we're going to
- 1:23:47Speaker 33: reach out because sometimes mental health is not.
- 1:23:50Speaker 5: A one person job.
- 1:23:52Speaker 3: Is it?

- 1:24:03Speaker 18: So we ask kids, what do you want your parents
- 1:24:07Speaker 18: to hear?
- 1:24:08Speaker 19: I feel sometimes that I'm not listening to I would
- 1:24:10Speaker 19: just want you to listen to me more often and
- 1:24:12Speaker 19: evaluate situations with me and lead me towards success.
- 1:24:17Speaker 8: We're not adults, so just just be there and like, listen.
- 1:24:22Speaker 8: I just want someone to yap too, and I just
- 1:24:24Speaker 8: be like, I'll be fine. Like if someone just hears
- 1:24:27Speaker 8: me talk and talk and talk and talk and talk
- 1:24:29Speaker 8: and talk.
- 1:24:30Speaker 5: And talk, you're doing a really good job. And I
- 1:24:32Speaker 5: don't think that.
- 1:24:33Speaker 4: I don't know, and I know sometimes we get into it.
- 1:24:37Speaker 5: It's just hard on both of us. But I'll try
- 1:24:41Speaker 5: to understand me more and I'll try to do the same.
- 1:24:45Speaker 18: Listening is a form of love. Find resources to help

- 1:25:00Speaker 23: Choosing to buy a gun was not a decision I
- 1:25:02Speaker 23: took lightly, but with everything going on, I really wanted
- 1:25:05Speaker 23: to feel like I could protect myself. I hadn't thought
- 1:25:08Speaker 23: about the danger of an unlocked gun in my own
- 1:25:10Speaker 23: home too.
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: Me aware, are your napkins not that drawer unless anyone
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: needs a gun.
- 1:25:19Speaker 23: Now, I always locked my gun to keep everyone safe.

- 1:25:34Speaker 28: Gandy Player's Lounge. I'd have been given full access to
- 1:25:42Speaker 28: the player's lounge on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:26:05Speaker 3: Start your weekday, welco back to this Shock show. IM
- 1:26:10Speaker 3: the what Shock Wing kend. Happy Thanksgiving out there to
- 1:26:16Speaker 3: all of you on this Thursday, beautiful Thursday. Here looks
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: the sun in Atlanta's coming out like it's gonna be
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: pretty date little chilly though, but a pretty day. And
- 1:26:27Speaker 3: we're all here. If you're hearing my voice means that
- 1:26:30Speaker 3: you are alive, which is a great thing lesson in itself.
- 1:26:36Speaker 3: So that means you're here with us right now.
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: If we're gonna start making a thankful list, God, let's
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: go with that one.
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: Uh And guys here on this Thanksgiving I had to
- 1:26:48Speaker 3: bring this article up. I already know where one of
- 1:26:51Speaker 3: you stands on it because the person has so much
- 1:26:55Speaker 3: influence in their daily thoughts in life. But Kendrick Perkins
- 1:27:04Speaker 3: delivered the stunning take about a powerful man here in
- 1:27:11Speaker 3: the United States.
- 1:27:16Speaker 34: Is the most powerful black man. For Sanders is the
- 1:27:24Speaker 34: most powerful black man since two thousand and nine.
- 1:27:30Speaker 5: You know what happened in two thousand.
- 1:27:31Speaker 34: And nine, that's when President Obama got elected in office.
- 1:27:36Speaker 34: He is the most powerful black man since two thousand
- 1:27:39Speaker 34: and nine. You said you were sitting there watching the
- 1:27:42Speaker 34: game in your house, and what you did You ran
- 1:27:45Speaker 34: with the TV?
- 1:27:46Speaker 5: Right what was you doing, dB?
- 1:27:49Speaker 34: You was chairing like when Shadua Sanders is on the field.
- 1:27:55Speaker 34: And when I say powerful, powerful, because it's two sides
- 1:27:58Speaker 34: of it, right, think about, Okay, you got the black community.
- 1:28:02Speaker 34: He bringing the whole black community together. I ain't ran
- 1:28:05Speaker 34: across one black person that then said one bad thing about.
- 1:28:09Speaker 5: Should do it.
- 1:28:10Speaker 34: We won't even guess what not one because he has
- 1:28:13Speaker 34: the balance. He has the balance of that. I'm arrogant,
- 1:28:17Speaker 34: but I'm humble too.
- 1:28:20Speaker 3: That is Kendrick Perkins take on your doer. Sanders says
- 1:28:23Speaker 3: your door. Sanders is the most powerful black man in
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: America since President Obama, which basically would encompass the last
- 1:28:37Speaker 3: sixteen seventeen years, two decades. Big Kenny kimanchi Greg bad Producer.
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: It seems that somebody spiked the Greg kool aid and
- 1:28:58Speaker 3: a lot of you decided that have a full cup. Now,
- 1:29:03Speaker 3: me and Big Kenny, I know we snuck out twelve
- 1:29:07Speaker 3: days ago.
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: When they start talking that a blind obedience them two
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: words stuck out in my mind and I said, he
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: sports jock. I don't know about you, bruh, but when
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: we go to the market, we just gonna keep going.
- 1:29:22Speaker 3: Uh, command you. I believe that the only reason you
- 1:29:24Speaker 3: didn't run with us because we didn't tell you what
- 1:29:26Speaker 3: day we was going we was going. I think that's
- 1:29:29Speaker 3: the only way you.
- 1:29:31Speaker 5: Was gonna tell. Yeah, you know they to crack your cold.
- 1:29:34Speaker 3: I'm just saying your your your hut was a little
- 1:29:36Speaker 3: too far away. Bad Producer was the one back there
- 1:29:43Speaker 3: spiking the kool aid with the perkis with Kendrick Perkins.
- 1:29:49Speaker 3: Where do you guys even start with some statement like
- 1:29:52Speaker 3: this in your own estimation? I can't tell Kendrick perpan
- 1:29:56Speaker 3: he's wrong for how he views like, Uh, what do
- 1:30:00Speaker 3: you guys stand? It's considering shaduor Sanders because I'm missing
- 1:30:06Speaker 3: the power of Shador Sanders.
- 1:30:08Speaker 5: Maybe well, well, I would for me.
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: Debates is what I would call this like this have
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: a pro and a con. So if you agree that
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: Shadeur is the most powerful black man in America right
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: now akin to Obama since Obama, then where's your support
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: argument for that? Is what I would like to hear first,
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: because outside of I can feel how I want to feel,
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: that is you know, that's not a that's not supporting.
- 1:30:45Speaker 3: So here's an argument. Here's a question I will throw
- 1:30:47Speaker 3: out there, were you tuning in to Jackson State or
- 1:30:57Speaker 3: Colorado game more for Dion Sanders or should Doure Sanders?
- 1:31:10Speaker 3: Were you were you tuning in? Because I can start
- 1:31:15Speaker 3: it off and tell you Dion to me has encompassed
- 1:31:20Speaker 3: more power than his son, which which first let me say,
- 1:31:25Speaker 3: because that's why I was tuning in.
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: When you wound it back, all I caught was the
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: Sanders part, and up until you said should do I
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: swore he was talking about Dion. And then when you
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: said should doure? I wondered, how is this even a conversation? Now? Uh? Again,
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: I can't tell you how to feel, which is why
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: I'm asking for supporting information.
- 1:31:49Speaker 5: Who would you.
- 1:31:49Speaker 3: Say you tuned in first and foremost during during that time,
- 1:31:55Speaker 3: Dion Sanders was the draw for me? Okay, big Kenny Uh.
- 1:32:01Speaker 5: Dion still is the only reason people care about Shadur.
- 1:32:05Speaker 3: Bad producer prime right. So to me, right there negates
- 1:32:12Speaker 3: Chaudeur's power being over the lies. Deon hypnotized us to
- 1:32:19Speaker 3: tune in to whatever he was going to display to
- 1:32:24Speaker 3: us at the game. He was just what I'm saying.
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: He he's the one who sung the song the pipe piper. Yeah,
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: he was blowing in and everybody that all the rats
- 1:32:34Speaker 3: were coming to the pipe now on the way they
- 1:32:38Speaker 3: got to see different people. So that to me, that's
- 1:32:43Speaker 3: where I can easily be able to draw a line
- 1:32:46Speaker 3: through Shadur. I haven't tuned into a Brown's game. In
- 1:32:52Speaker 3: anticipation of Shudur saying and and and this season.
- 1:32:57Speaker 5: Well he is.
- 1:33:01Speaker 3: The first one, know what I'm saying for for to
- 1:33:04Speaker 3: to give to give credence to Kendrick Perkins. Him being
- 1:33:08Speaker 3: in Cleveland hasn't done anything but feel the airwaves. But
- 1:33:13Speaker 3: that's good with something to talk about. But he didn't
- 1:33:18Speaker 3: have any sway.
- 1:33:23Speaker 20: Well, I think when Kendrick said, and here's the thing, well,
- 1:33:29Speaker 20: and what I heard from the clip because I hadn't
- 1:33:31Speaker 20: heard the whole clip, but he was basically saying, when
- 1:33:34Speaker 20: President Obama got elected, everybody was running to the TV
- 1:33:37Speaker 20: that night. Everybody was Oprah was crying, everybody he was
- 1:33:41Speaker 20: that we knew that Chadua got his practice reps in
- 1:33:47Speaker 20: compared to the week before, we knew that he was
- 1:33:49Speaker 20: gonna be with the first team.
- 1:33:50Speaker 5: They were gonna know his voice. They knew it's gonna
- 1:33:52Speaker 5: know his cadence.
- 1:33:53Speaker 20: And we knew and we tuned in to see where
- 1:33:57Speaker 20: So the naysayers and everybody would say is always saying, well,
- 1:34:02Speaker 20: but he he went out there and he played ball
- 1:34:06Speaker 20: and and and and I don't think that he's like,
- 1:34:10Speaker 20: like you said, it's all about prime. Prime bought us
- 1:34:12Speaker 20: in there. But we've got to know she door and
- 1:34:14Speaker 20: if you watch the you knew.
- 1:34:16Speaker 3: How he was a kid to or be more powerful
- 1:34:20Speaker 3: than the person who we only tuned in to see.
- 1:34:25Speaker 20: Well, that's what you want. Any any father will want
- 1:34:28Speaker 20: their son to be better than them. So I know
- 1:34:30Speaker 20: the Prime is cheering them on. He wanted them to
- 1:34:32Speaker 20: be better and this is this is great. I mean
- 1:34:34Speaker 20: he's gonna he's gonna be He's taking over from where
- 1:34:36Speaker 20: Prime left.
- 1:34:41Speaker 5: Too far.
- 1:34:41Speaker 2: That's when that's when you're.
- 1:34:43Speaker 20: Talking about about the fan as far as the fan base,
- 1:34:48Speaker 20: the people liking him, the way people like Prime.
- 1:34:52Speaker 5: Go ahead.
- 1:34:54Speaker 2: For me, when I hear statements that like Kendrick per
- 1:35:00Speaker 2: just made it further illustrates. And he says that you know,
- 1:35:05Speaker 2: he's uniting and bringing black people together and all of
- 1:35:10Speaker 2: these things. He's attached a political effect to a sporting event.
- 1:35:16Speaker 2: I am further reminded how emotional and impressionable black people
- 1:35:23Speaker 2: are in these moments. We have actual black starting quarterbacks
- 1:35:29Speaker 2: who are leading their teams to haven't been beaten in
- 1:35:33Speaker 2: the last eight games, into unbroke rushing and passing records,
- 1:35:39Speaker 2: have made back to back Super Bowl appearances and won,
- 1:35:43Speaker 2: and were talking about Shador Sanders because he's overcoming What
- 1:35:48Speaker 2: the hell is he overcoming being drafted in the fifth round,
- 1:35:51Speaker 2: and he had a famous daddy y'all love. Oh, they
- 1:35:55Speaker 2: keeping me down, everybody about and everybody tweeting everybody, And
- 1:36:05Speaker 2: and then in a political year, in an election year,
- 1:36:08Speaker 2: you'll call that manipulating my people. As long as it's
- 1:36:12Speaker 2: on your side for your reason, you cool.
- 1:36:15Speaker 3: I think to expound on what my partner, Big Kenny,
- 1:36:19Speaker 3: is saying. Tons of young kids get labeled. It's nepotism,
- 1:36:31Speaker 3: m that is. That's been the word here the last
- 1:36:34Speaker 3: three or four years. Anybody that does anything, any parents,
- 1:36:38Speaker 3: mom or dad does anything for their kids, they label
- 1:36:41Speaker 3: that child.
- 1:36:41Speaker 2: What's the boy at Texas?
- 1:36:43Speaker 5: Right now? Arch Manny arch Manning?
- 1:36:46Speaker 2: Why is it sure? Door?
- 1:36:51Speaker 3: Hell you you said something that made me laugh inside.
- 1:36:54Speaker 3: He got something from the mud, got out the money.
- 1:36:57Speaker 3: What mud?
- 1:36:57Speaker 2: What mud?
- 1:37:00Speaker 5: The mud of the fifth round of the NFL draft,
- 1:37:02Speaker 5: dog gone right, the mud of the fifth round?
- 1:37:05Speaker 35: Now now, now when when when arch Manning, When arch Manning,
- 1:37:12Speaker 35: who has been projected, When Arch Manning, who has been
- 1:37:15Speaker 35: projected to be who he.
- 1:37:18Speaker 2: Is and and and following the line of his Hall
- 1:37:21Speaker 2: of Fame lineage, loses a game everybody. Oh see, he
- 1:37:25Speaker 2: ain't what they thought. That's what you hyping him. You
- 1:37:28Speaker 2: hyping him. When a dude who got drafted in the
- 1:37:31Speaker 2: fifth round play like he was supposed to play, then
- 1:37:34Speaker 2: all they against him. He ain't got no reps. He
- 1:37:36Speaker 2: didn't get no y'all. But when he started and got
- 1:37:41Speaker 2: his depression of your emotion, you're it's so he did
- 1:37:46Speaker 2: so what he played good, and now that brings a
- 1:37:49Speaker 2: people together. Now that now he's a representative for a
- 1:37:53Speaker 2: whole race of people because he played good in the
- 1:37:56Speaker 2: game that he's supposed to play good in. He's a

- 1:43:03Speaker 3: hmm that you're going to be on the, run like

- 1:53:10Speaker 3: Thing before you answer, That Justin field says he was

- 1:53:21Speaker 3: justin that might be why you have never gotten, better.
- 1:53:25Speaker 2: Because you have no idea that you are out there
- 1:53:27Speaker 2: playing Like boo boo.
- 1:53:31Speaker 3: And Big kenny is saying in the comedic, way but
- 1:53:33Speaker 3: as a guy that walked the halls of playing. Sports
- 1:53:38Speaker 3: self evaluation is one of the biggest keys to. Improving
- 1:53:45Speaker 3: looking in the mirror and actually seeing what's there is
- 1:53:49Speaker 3: what helps you evolve to go do something. More when
- 1:53:54Speaker 3: you act like it's not, you or you put it on,
- 1:53:56Speaker 3: somebody then you stop is to, coach, well, no you're
- 1:53:59Speaker 3: the one who needs to work on throwing the slant.
- 1:54:02Speaker 3: Better but you keep thinking it's the receiver cutting the
- 1:54:05Speaker 3: route or the coach didn't call the play because you
- 1:54:09Speaker 3: look in the mirror and tell yourself that the person
- 1:54:11Speaker 3: in the mirror is. Better and WHEN i went out
- 1:54:14Speaker 3: and WHEN i read, that it was one of the
- 1:54:15Speaker 3: things it popped for me because of some. Advice IF
- 1:54:19Speaker 3: i knew, HIM i would tell. HIM i would have
- 1:54:22Speaker 3: loved to tell him. That because for you to make
- 1:54:26Speaker 3: a statement that you didn't know that you're averaging like
- 1:54:29Speaker 3: ninety yards of game, throwing that the team is so
- 1:54:35Speaker 3: a fit scared of you throwing the ball that they
- 1:54:37Speaker 3: limit you to like twelve throw that ain't just an election. Times,
- 1:54:43Speaker 3: yeah that's not just a function of a bad. Coordinator
- 1:54:46Speaker 3: that is amen. Only so when you need, it don't
- 1:54:50Speaker 3: don't just let him throw the. Ball and for you
- 1:54:53Speaker 3: to say that like you. Was you was shocked after twelve,
- 1:54:58Speaker 3: games you really were. Shocked and for you to say,
- 1:55:01Speaker 3: it but you you actually believe.
- 1:55:06Speaker 5: It if it's third and seven and they call another run,
- 1:55:09Speaker 5: play they don't trust you to throw the.
- 1:55:11Speaker 3: Ball so that really just WHEN i read that, article like,
- 1:55:16Speaker 3: He i'm. SURPRISED i didn't know they were going in that.
- 1:55:18Speaker 3: Direction really really just that means he don't respect To Rod,
- 1:55:26Speaker 3: taylor either To rod The, jets the position of football.
- 1:55:31Speaker 3: Quarterback you, disconnected you completely. Disconnected this relationship is over

- 1:56:40Speaker 2: be in. Place you don't want me to Take we're
- 1:56:42Speaker 2: gonna divide our community. Property he don't want. To he
- 1:56:45Speaker 2: don't want to be taking my separate ways for me
