- 0:09Speaker 1: Welcome to the Favorites Podcast. I am Chad Mollman of
- 0:14Speaker 1: the Action Network. It is Wednesday, which means I am
- 0:19Speaker 1: joined by my favorite person might be maybe my favorite
- 0:26Speaker 1: person in the world. There's like, this is someone who
- 0:31Speaker 1: has never offended me, has has given me millions of laughs,
- 0:36Speaker 1: has never talked back to me, has never been angry
- 0:40Speaker 1: at me, laughs at my jokes, and has given me
- 0:45Speaker 1: more joy and a lifetime worth of material like Honest
- 0:49Speaker 1: to God, I keep even saying about my kids. Jesus
- 0:53Speaker 1: that those that's high praise. Man. This is Mr Bob Scucci,
- 0:58Speaker 1: bookmaker at the Orleans and all the Boyd Gaming books
- 1:02Speaker 1: in the state of Nevada. Here we go. Now we're ready.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Now we're ready. I gotta I've got to get used
- 1:25Speaker 1: to that just elaborate setup. I'm just not used to such,
- 1:28Speaker 1: you know, introductions. How beautiful is that? I love it?
- 1:33Speaker 1: Oh my god, it's so good. I forget it's the
- 1:35Speaker 1: blood pumping. I actually forget how good it is every
- 1:37Speaker 1: single time I sit down and then I'm ready for it,
- 1:40Speaker 1: and I just it's magical. I forget that it's even
- 1:44Speaker 1: gonna be played obviously. Yeah, clearly you're not helping the
- 1:48Speaker 1: production of your podcast. No, hey, um, something I want
- 1:54Speaker 1: to talk about getting the best of the number? Bear.
- 2:00Speaker 1: I wrote about this so important, right, you've actually taught
- 2:04Speaker 1: me about this? Uh. I wrote about this in Millman's
- 2:09Speaker 1: Red Zone Diaries that you can read on Action network
- 2:11Speaker 1: dot com and in the app, because I felt like
- 2:15Speaker 1: on Sunday I did not get the best of the
- 2:17Speaker 1: number in a couple of spots, and like, I'll go
- 2:19Speaker 1: on Sports Center on Sunday mornings and talk about games
- 2:22Speaker 1: that I like, and I love the Patriots. On Sunday night,
- 2:25Speaker 1: I bet him at three. Early in the week, I
- 2:28Speaker 1: went on Sports Center. I still liked him at three
- 2:29Speaker 1: and a half. That kind of came back to haunt me. Um,
- 2:33Speaker 1: the Redskins line moved from Skins I think minus one
- 2:37Speaker 1: two Skins I think plus one and a half. I
- 2:40Speaker 1: still won that game. I was on the Redskins and
- 2:42Speaker 1: minus one. But that game easily could have ended Panthers
- 2:47Speaker 1: twenty four Skins twenty three, and I would have been
- 2:49Speaker 1: killing myself that I didn't have Skins plus one and
- 2:51Speaker 1: a half. You got fish hooked on your scooch roulette pick.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Tell me what you did? Oh, because we talked about it,
- 3:00Speaker 1: and and we even talked about that specific game, laying
- 3:04Speaker 1: three as opposed to laying three and a half and
- 3:08Speaker 1: Patriots Chiefs. Yeah, and uh, you know, when we were
- 3:11Speaker 1: hanging that line, I knew at plus three and a
- 3:14Speaker 1: half we'd get a lot of Chiefs money, and I
- 3:15Speaker 1: knew it minus three we'd get some Patriots money. And
- 3:18Speaker 1: it's just the difference of a half a point. And
- 3:21Speaker 1: that's why it's critical, those little little moves, and on
- 3:24Speaker 1: both on both sides of the counter, on the bookmaking
- 3:26Speaker 1: side when we're hanging the lines, and then obviously on
- 3:29Speaker 1: the betting side. I liked them too, and I tried
- 3:31Speaker 1: to be on the high side and made them three
- 3:33Speaker 1: and a half. And that came back to haunt me
- 3:35Speaker 1: in two ways, on the bookmaking side and then also
- 3:38Speaker 1: on my Scoots Roulet pick because I picked the Patriots
- 3:41Speaker 1: minus three and a half. How did you explain yourself
- 3:44Speaker 1: to your bosses when you got hooked like that as
- 3:47Speaker 1: a bookmaker? Fortunately, we had such a good day that
- 3:51Speaker 1: Miami Bears game, Uh got so big that it really
- 3:56Speaker 1: carried the day, so I didn't really have to do
- 3:58Speaker 1: much explaining, you know, and you win money you don't
- 4:00Speaker 1: have to explain too much. Yeah, man, how about that
- 4:06Speaker 1: game that was just as a UM as a Bears fan,
- 4:13Speaker 1: it was crushing, really crushing. And you know, obviously I
- 4:17Speaker 1: text during the games with my best friend Matt, who's
- 4:19Speaker 1: also a massive Bears fan. And I also was texting
- 4:22Speaker 1: with my buddy, a good friend of mine who I
- 4:25Speaker 1: had on the ESPN podcast years ago, named Sam Walker.
- 4:28Speaker 1: He wrote a book called I Don't know if I
- 4:30Speaker 1: talked about this in the last podcast. He wrote a
- 4:32Speaker 1: book called The Captain Class, which became this big best seller,
- 4:35Speaker 1: and it's all about um sort of using the attributes
- 4:40Speaker 1: that leaders in sports uh all have in common to
- 4:46Speaker 1: figure out like what leadership looks like overall. And so
- 4:48Speaker 1: he looked at everybody from like people who played for
- 4:51Speaker 1: the New Zealand all Blacks, to Derek Jeter to you know,
- 4:55Speaker 1: I can't remember. I think like um Bill Cartwright, like
- 4:59Speaker 1: you know, leaders of teams that were sort of legendary teams.
- 5:03Speaker 1: And you know, because it's a brilliant idea, it's now
- 5:07Speaker 1: spawned into Like he does speaking gigs and he was
- 5:10Speaker 1: an editor of the Wall Street Journal. He has started
- 5:12Speaker 1: as a writer then became an editor and now he
- 5:14Speaker 1: liked as a column on leadership two times a week,
- 5:16Speaker 1: and he's actually consultant for the Bears as a sort
- 5:20Speaker 1: of leadership consultant, right, And the Bears read his book,
- 5:23Speaker 1: like the guys who aread the Bears read his book,
- 5:25Speaker 1: and um, the GM gave it to everyone of the staff.
- 5:28Speaker 1: And he's also been working a lot with Mitch Mitch Robinsky.
- 5:31Speaker 1: And I'm not revealing anything here. There was a big
- 5:33Speaker 1: story about it in the Shuk in the Chicago Tribune.
- 5:36Speaker 1: So it actually like Sam's a close friend and and
- 5:39Speaker 1: like we talked about the Bears, and like, now at
- 5:41Speaker 1: this point, all I want to do is ask him
- 5:43Speaker 1: about the Bears and like talk about like what's going
- 5:46Speaker 1: on with the Bears and like and if the Bears
- 5:48Speaker 1: do badly, I basically just criticize him and send text
- 5:50Speaker 1: to be like the Bears could really use a leader
- 5:52Speaker 1: right now. And so on Sunday, true Bisky was so
- 5:57Speaker 1: good in the first half, and I was just like
- 6:00Speaker 1: like praising Sam, like, oh my god, what you have
- 6:04Speaker 1: done with this guy. It's amazing. He's such a good quarterback,
- 6:06Speaker 1: like the poise, the effort, and then the coach left
- 6:11Speaker 1: it up, like he just took the ball out of
- 6:13Speaker 1: Trubisky's hands at the end of the game, when in
- 6:16Speaker 1: the world is like fifty three yards enough, you're close
- 6:21Speaker 1: enough for a field goal, Like why do you stop
- 6:23Speaker 1: trying to get closer at the thirty five yard line?
- 6:27Speaker 1: I mean, from someone on the other side that needed
- 6:29Speaker 1: the Dolphins, I was actually happy that they were just
- 6:31Speaker 1: running the ball up the middle, trying to trying to
- 6:34Speaker 1: just run the clock and try to kick the field goal.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I mean, that was just great. It was idiotic, totally idiotic.
- 6:40Speaker 1: I watched that game and I'm like, wow, this makes
- 6:43Speaker 1: no sense. But it made no sense. You're gonna take
- 6:47Speaker 1: the ball out of the guy's hand. Trubisky had a
- 6:49Speaker 1: great game, Like he was finally accurate on deep balls.
- 6:52Speaker 1: He looked comfortable. You're really not gonna try to get
- 6:54Speaker 1: him to throw the ball down the middle of the
- 6:56Speaker 1: field for ten more yards, making that much easier of
- 6:58Speaker 1: a field goal. Like there is a bad kicking epidemic
- 7:02Speaker 1: right now, everybody is infected. You're really going to trust
- 7:05Speaker 1: your guy to kick a field goal? I know. But
- 7:10Speaker 1: that point that you just made about changing your what
- 7:12Speaker 1: what's working for you as a coach and then changing
- 7:15Speaker 1: it at the end of the game. I think that
- 7:17Speaker 1: factor is why I've hated watching the Patriots over the
- 7:21Speaker 1: years as a as a bookmaker and having them beat
- 7:24Speaker 1: us every game because from somebody that's just rooting for
- 7:27Speaker 1: the teams to cover, Belichick and Brady would never change
- 7:31Speaker 1: up the end that they could be, you know, have
- 7:34Speaker 1: a comfortable lead, but they're never getting out of their
- 7:36Speaker 1: game plan. Even to the very last second of the game.
- 7:39Speaker 1: You can still picture Brady just drop him back and
- 7:42Speaker 1: throwing a twenty yard pass and that and used to
- 7:44Speaker 1: frustrate me always rooting for underdogs that are catching like
- 7:48Speaker 1: maybe seven, seven and a half points, and I was
- 7:50Speaker 1: just like, please just run the clock, you know. But
- 7:53Speaker 1: that's exactly what Brady did in that game, right, Like
- 7:55Speaker 1: on a third and one he goes deep to Chris
- 7:58Speaker 1: Hogan from deep in his own deep in his own territory,
- 8:01Speaker 1: and then the deep past the Groundkowski like, I wish
- 8:04Speaker 1: the Chiefs guy had let him score. So yeah, me too,
- 8:07Speaker 1: I hate doing that. The Gamblers math, like in the
- 8:11Speaker 1: last three minutes of a game is exhausting. You know
- 8:14Speaker 1: how the scenario was going to play out, and there's
- 8:17Speaker 1: you're just begging and praying for like something flukey, for
- 8:23Speaker 1: someone to do something against the percentages. I love the
- 8:27Speaker 1: mindset of the end of a game from a betting perspective.
- 8:31Speaker 1: So the people in the book that had the Cincinnati
- 8:35Speaker 1: Bengals against the Pittsburgh Steelers were actually rooting for, at
- 8:39Speaker 1: one point the game, UH for Cincinnati to score the
- 8:43Speaker 1: touchdown that put him UH down by one or what
- 8:47Speaker 1: was it. They wanted Cincinnati to miss the extra point
- 8:51Speaker 1: so that the game would go into overtime and then
- 8:53Speaker 1: Cincinnati would have a chance to cover the two and
- 8:55Speaker 1: a half points. So you're rooting, You're rooting for a
- 8:58Speaker 1: touchdown and a extra point to try and send the
- 9:01Speaker 1: game into overtime because winning by one is no good.
- 9:04Speaker 1: We need them to win by three. I'll tell you
- 9:06Speaker 1: what I was rooting for there. I was, you know,
- 9:09Speaker 1: it was really the series before that, the Patriots the
- 9:12Speaker 1: Steelers were driving. I was rooting for the Steelers just
- 9:16Speaker 1: scored a touchdown, because if they scored a touchdown, they're up,
- 9:21Speaker 1: and then I'm rooting for, Okay, the Bengals drive down,
- 9:25Speaker 1: score a touchdown, kick the onside kick, score another touchdown,
- 9:30Speaker 1: they win, and I covered my bet. That's what I
- 9:33Speaker 1: was rooting for. See, that's the gamblers math. Like I'm
- 9:35Speaker 1: thinking in impossibilities at that point, like because I had
- 9:38Speaker 1: done the math, Like if they scored the field goal,
- 9:41Speaker 1: the Bengals drive down, they can win the game, but
- 9:43Speaker 1: I'm not gonna win my bet. It's another example, by
- 9:45Speaker 1: the way, not getting the best of the number. I
- 9:47Speaker 1: bet that game at two and a half, it closed
- 9:49Speaker 1: at one, and like, while it didn't matter at the
- 9:52Speaker 1: end of the game because the Steelers still won, if
- 9:55Speaker 1: they hadn't have scored that touchdown, at least I would
- 9:57Speaker 1: have pushed. Yeah, it's crazy. I love how you know
- 10:01Speaker 1: you're rooting for one side the entire game, and then
- 10:04Speaker 1: as long as you're covering the spread, and then the
- 10:06Speaker 1: other team has the ball, now you're rooting for them
- 10:08Speaker 1: to just make a first down to kill the clock.
- 10:10Speaker 1: So you're rooting for them, sometimes sometimes against them. Sometimes
- 10:14Speaker 1: it changes even on on one drive who you're rooting for. Scooch.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Let's get into some gamblers math right now, because the
- 10:21Speaker 1: Thursday night game is awesome, and if I were to bet, allegedly,
- 10:31Speaker 1: I would bet this one right now because it's in
- 10:34Speaker 1: my Wheelhouse, Denver Broncos two and a half point favorites
- 10:38Speaker 1: over the Arizona Cardinals at home Thursday night, road favorite
- 10:45Speaker 1: of less than a field goal. Yeah, you know where
- 10:48Speaker 1: I'm going here. I do. But you know, we've gotten
- 10:51Speaker 1: so much action on both sides on this one. And
- 10:53Speaker 1: did you ever just look at the game? You know,
- 10:55Speaker 1: we hang all the lines, and you're trying to go
- 10:56Speaker 1: through as many games as you can and kind of
- 10:59Speaker 1: get into each game, and then one of them just
- 11:01Speaker 1: stands out. And we hung one and a half on
- 11:04Speaker 1: this game, uh, you know, Sunday night, and then after
- 11:08Speaker 1: going through all the games, it just didn't look it
- 11:11Speaker 1: looked too short. I mean, I just we know we're
- 11:13Speaker 1: gonna get Broncos money. So we moved it to two
- 11:16Speaker 1: and a half, and uh, they laid the two and
- 11:18Speaker 1: a half. Uh, some some pretty big bets came in
- 11:22Speaker 1: at minus the two and a half. I actually went
- 11:24Speaker 1: to three and then took a sharp bed plus three.
- 11:28Speaker 1: So I've been going back and forth on this one
- 11:31Speaker 1: since we hung the line. The public really wants no
- 11:34Speaker 1: part of the Cardinals. I know that's a it's a
- 11:36Speaker 1: strong play in terms of a number, and we know
- 11:38Speaker 1: that the home Dogs. The last two weeks have just
- 11:41Speaker 1: been a tremendous play. Uh. Percentage wise, the home Dogs
- 11:44Speaker 1: have really been coming in. Uh. And here's another one.
- 11:47Speaker 1: And you have to figure out a high profile, you know,
- 11:49Speaker 1: one off game like this on a Thursday night game.
- 11:52Speaker 1: If the Cardinals are gonna you know, put together a game,
- 11:54Speaker 1: this is the one. But the Cardinals have the worst
- 11:57Speaker 1: offense statistically in the NFL right now, so you know
- 12:01Speaker 1: the betting public just really wants no part of them. Um,
- 12:05Speaker 1: but they did. Uh, you know, going up against a
- 12:07Speaker 1: tough Minnesota team, kind of surprised a lot of people
- 12:11Speaker 1: kept the game close. And depending on the number again,
- 12:14Speaker 1: whether you laid nine and a half with Minnesota in
- 12:16Speaker 1: Arizona last week or something got it plus ten and
- 12:18Speaker 1: a half with Arizona, there's another game fell right on
- 12:21Speaker 1: the number. Um. To go back to your point on
- 12:24Speaker 1: how how important shopping is. This game will get to
- 12:27Speaker 1: three again. Yeah, I think it closes three. It's a
- 12:30Speaker 1: Thursday night game. The public is already on the Broncos
- 12:33Speaker 1: at about a three to one ratio. Uh, when it's
- 12:36Speaker 1: the only big football game of the night. Uh, you
- 12:39Speaker 1: know we're going to get a ton of Bronco money.
- 12:42Speaker 1: So if you're looking, if you're looking about the Cardinals,
- 12:46Speaker 1: you should be able to get a three. Sometime. I'm
- 12:50Speaker 1: gonna wait to allegedly make my bed, do you know why?
- 12:55Speaker 1: Because I want to get the best of the number.
- 12:56Speaker 1: That's what I do. You have to professional way to go.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Here's another interesting one. My Chicago Bears plus three against
- 13:04Speaker 1: the New England Patriots. A lot of money coming into
- 13:07Speaker 1: New England. How do I not pet the Bears here
- 13:11Speaker 1: at plus? So the look aheadline, you know, you you
- 13:14Speaker 1: make the lines before the games are being played on
- 13:17Speaker 1: on Sunday, and this line was Patriots three, and the
- 13:23Speaker 1: the adjustments made were based on the Bears losing to
- 13:27Speaker 1: Miami and the Patriots even though they didn't cover beating
- 13:31Speaker 1: a good Kansas City team, So the adjustment was a
- 13:34Speaker 1: half a point, also accounting for we know the general
- 13:38Speaker 1: public is going to be on the Patriots, so three
- 13:40Speaker 1: and a half. All the values on the Bears here.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Even at three, I think the value would be on
- 13:45Speaker 1: the Bears. It's tough to bet against the Patriots, and
- 13:48Speaker 1: we talked about it all the time, but again, all
- 13:51Speaker 1: these all these home dogs, it's a really strong play
- 13:54Speaker 1: and and you mentioned Trabinsky, and I like the way
- 13:57Speaker 1: this offense plays despite some of the mistakes they made
- 14:00Speaker 1: last week. I think this is a strong play with
- 14:03Speaker 1: with the Bears, you think especially with this you know
- 14:05Speaker 1: the short week with uh with New England as as well.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Do you think this game gets to three and a half?
- 14:14Speaker 1: Does it get where to three and a half? To wait,
- 14:17Speaker 1: you said you were at three and a half? I
- 14:18Speaker 1: knew we're at three and a half. I'm not getting
- 14:21Speaker 1: that at it. If I allegedly wanted to make a bet,
- 14:26Speaker 1: I'm not getting that option. You need an allegedly new
- 14:29Speaker 1: place to wager. Maybe I do get a friend from you.
- 14:35Speaker 1: I think most places in Vegas are at three and
- 14:37Speaker 1: a half. Wow, well, I will not be betting on
- 14:41Speaker 1: my alleged place right now. Um. Interesting, All right, So
- 14:46Speaker 1: that's two games. I'm gonna keep an eye in here. Yeah, uh, alright,
- 14:52Speaker 1: So this one I believe is in London, right the
- 14:55Speaker 1: Tennessee Titans and the Los Angeles Chargers. Chargers six and
- 14:59Speaker 1: a half point favorites. Yeah. I feel like the bloom
- 15:02Speaker 1: was a little bit off the rose on the Titans,
- 15:04Speaker 1: and I played the Titans this past weekend at plus
- 15:06Speaker 1: two and a half against the Ravens. And I've just
- 15:10Speaker 1: been impressed with sort of their defense a couple of
- 15:12Speaker 1: weeks and They're defense still played really well against the Ravens.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Their offense is just so pitiful, And I think the
- 15:17Speaker 1: Chargers are becoming one of those teams that does not
- 15:19Speaker 1: choke against bad teams. This Chargers team is sneakily increasing
- 15:26Speaker 1: up the power ranking scale each week. So four and
- 15:29Speaker 1: two team, if you go back, you know there are
- 15:31Speaker 1: two losses were uh against the uh, the Rams and
- 15:35Speaker 1: the Chiefs. That's not a bad resume. I mean, those
- 15:38Speaker 1: aren't bad losses to lose against, you know, the best
- 15:40Speaker 1: team in the n f C, in the best team
- 15:42Speaker 1: in the NFC, and uh, you know sneakily that their
- 15:46Speaker 1: offense is right up there in the top ten statistically
- 15:48Speaker 1: in the NFL. Uh, they've got a real good defense.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Uh So they've they've kind of flown under the radar
- 15:56Speaker 1: a little bit just because they haven't been a high
- 15:58Speaker 1: profile team over the years. But uh, and to go
- 16:01Speaker 1: back to your point about the Titans, Yeah, they've completely
- 16:04Speaker 1: lost their bloom. Their offense is just anemic. So we
- 16:08Speaker 1: went on the high side here. I actually before the
- 16:10Speaker 1: podcast went to seven on the game, seven even money,
- 16:13Speaker 1: and I haven't taken a bet on the Titans yet,
- 16:15Speaker 1: even at plus seven, So that's kind of telling. Yeah. Yeah,
- 16:19Speaker 1: so this game, if you look, if you are looking
- 16:22Speaker 1: to bet the underdog in this one, uh, you should
- 16:25Speaker 1: easily be able to get a seven somewhere to stay
- 16:27Speaker 1: away from me or stay away Yeah, I don't know why, Like,
- 16:32Speaker 1: what reason do I have to not want to bet
- 16:33Speaker 1: the Chargers? Right? Yeah? Right, Well, you cast in on
- 16:37Speaker 1: the Chargers last week. You don't go to the well
- 16:39Speaker 1: too often. Don't get greedy, I would say, don't get greedy.
- 16:44Speaker 1: But a couple of weeks ago, I like have been
- 16:46Speaker 1: on the Cards three weeks in a row. I saw
- 16:48Speaker 1: them beating up in the Niners. I saw the Vikings
- 16:51Speaker 1: beating the Eagles. I knew they were playing the next week.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I knew the line would open double digits, and I
- 16:56Speaker 1: had a feeling that Cardinals will be able to cover.
- 16:58Speaker 1: I said to myself, I'm way to get the best
- 17:00Speaker 1: of the number. I'm not betting this until it's a
- 17:02Speaker 1: ten and a half. It got to ten and a half,
- 17:04Speaker 1: I still didn't pull the trigger and they cut and
- 17:06Speaker 1: they they would have covered. Yep, I had two choices.
- 17:11Speaker 1: On Sunday morning, I was thinking about I was thinking about, uh,
- 17:15Speaker 1: the cowboys and the jags and the cards and the vikings,
- 17:17Speaker 1: and then the cowboys got to three and a half
- 17:19Speaker 1: at home, and I want the cowboys turned to be okay,
- 17:22Speaker 1: too sharp? Ye sharp mooney Millman, that's Millman, the Milliminator.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Scoochs will come back to the betting in a second,
- 17:34Speaker 1: but first I need to tell you about our friends
- 17:38Speaker 1: at Keenland. Scooch You are a huge fan of the
- 17:40Speaker 1: horse racing. Keiland is an idyllic horse racing track right
- 17:43Speaker 1: in the heart of thoroughbred country in Lexington, Kentucky that

- 18:36Speaker 1: Scooch loves horse racing. Brother, Let's get back to it.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Tampa Bay minus three over the Cleveland Browns. This turned
- 18:44Speaker 1: into like a ship game. It's kind of sad. Yeah,
- 18:48Speaker 1: you know, I'm I'm kind of kicking myself for not
- 18:50Speaker 1: just being a little bit higher on Tampa Bay and
- 18:53Speaker 1: this one. You know, we've kind of adjusted a little
- 18:56Speaker 1: bit on the Browns each week, and and the brown
- 18:58Speaker 1: has got us a lot of good covers. But you know,
- 19:01Speaker 1: at some point you start over adjusting a little too
- 19:05Speaker 1: much one way and a little too much the other way,
- 19:07Speaker 1: and uh, we're buried on the Buccaneers. And I could see,
- 19:12Speaker 1: I could see why I'm looking at this game, and
- 19:16Speaker 1: it's one of those even though they're laying three, I
- 19:19Speaker 1: think I would have to lean more Buccaneers than Browns.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Buccaneers have the best passing offense statistically in the NFL.
- 19:26Speaker 1: A lot of that was Fitzgerald, but Winston looked pretty
- 19:29Speaker 1: effective last week too, So, um, this is gonna be
- 19:32Speaker 1: a tough one for us to to fade. You know,
- 19:34Speaker 1: we're gonna We're gonna need the Browns in a big way.
- 19:36Speaker 1: It's gonna be one of the biggest morning games. And
- 19:39Speaker 1: I could easily see this game going all three and
- 19:41Speaker 1: a half, maybe even four. I believe they call him Fitzpatrick.
- 19:46Speaker 1: What did I call him? Gerald? Fitz So we've got
- 19:51Speaker 1: a casino here for many years in in Vegas. Anytime
- 19:54Speaker 1: I start with the word fits it usually ends in
- 19:57Speaker 1: Fitzgerald's because just the casino that's just in reigned in
- 20:00Speaker 1: my mind downtown for many years. I don't know if
- 20:03Speaker 1: you remember the Fitzgerald I don't. I do remember time.
- 20:07Speaker 1: It was before my time. I do remember in college
- 20:12Speaker 1: I dated a girl whose last name was Fitzgerald. Ah,
- 20:17Speaker 1: do you remember now? I don't know if you want
- 20:20Speaker 1: to go further with that college story, I don't know.
- 20:22Speaker 1: She was great. I liked her a lot. She's very nice.
- 20:25Speaker 1: There was at one point there were two players in
- 20:27Speaker 1: the league. One Patrick Fitzgerald and one Gerald Fitzpatrick. I
- 20:30Speaker 1: don't know if you remember that. I'm just gonna go
- 20:34Speaker 1: to the next game. Jacksonville Jaguars minus five over the Texans.
- 20:40Speaker 1: This game all of a sudden became way super interesting,
- 20:45Speaker 1: like wowser interesting, massive ramifications, huge implications. Two teams struggling
- 20:55Speaker 1: to figure out who they are testing each other on
- 20:58Speaker 1: the field of play on a Sunday afternoon for a
- 21:02Speaker 1: f C South supremacy and dark helmets. I can't tell
- 21:11Speaker 1: if you're sarcastic or not really, because I'm laying it
- 21:14Speaker 1: on pretty thick. Yeah, we don't. We don't have that
- 21:17Speaker 1: much interest in this game so far. You know, I'm
- 21:20Speaker 1: just looking at the I mean, it seems like there
- 21:22Speaker 1: would be in terms of trying to find out who
- 21:25Speaker 1: who these teams are. Houston has kind of been a
- 21:29Speaker 1: mystery most of the year. And uh and Jacksonville, you know,
- 21:33Speaker 1: have still have one of the best defenses in the NFL,
- 21:36Speaker 1: and how do they just get annihilated by a team
- 21:39Speaker 1: like Dallas that has no no offense to speak of
- 21:43Speaker 1: up to last week? Uh? And you know, looking back
- 21:47Speaker 1: even a game further, when when Jacksonville played the Chiefs
- 21:51Speaker 1: and uh, they let up a ton and and couldn't
- 21:54Speaker 1: score against the Chiefs. And I can't figure out this
- 21:57Speaker 1: Jacksonville team, you know they I agree with you. I
- 22:01Speaker 1: think I find it intriguing, but I find that the
- 22:03Speaker 1: public isn't going to have much interest in this one.
- 22:06Speaker 1: We hung the Jaguars a four and a half point favorite. Um,
- 22:10Speaker 1: I think they're confusing the public enough to where they
- 22:13Speaker 1: don't know which team they're gonna get, So they're a
- 22:17Speaker 1: little leery, and they probably feel like there's some better
- 22:19Speaker 1: games on the board to bet. I do feel like
- 22:22Speaker 1: it is a big game, like and two really interesting teams,
- 22:24Speaker 1: sort of a Texas team that certainly a lot of
- 22:27Speaker 1: people who are sharp named Millman thought would do really
- 22:31Speaker 1: well and b super Bowl tickets futures for them, uh,
- 22:34Speaker 1: and they're just now like their defense is just getting
- 22:37Speaker 1: into a rhythm, their offense is kind of figuring out
- 22:40Speaker 1: who they are. The Jags defense is amazing, but boys
- 22:43Speaker 1: Blake Borders like just regressed in the past two weeks.
- 22:47Speaker 1: And so it's a really interesting game to me between
- 22:50Speaker 1: two teams that I think are ascendant generally in terms
- 22:53Speaker 1: of organization and where they're gonna be the next few years.
- 22:56Speaker 1: I can see why there's not a lot of activity
- 22:58Speaker 1: because look, uh, um a, there's a Southeastern anti bias.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Uh b um. No one can really feel from a
- 23:08Speaker 1: betting perspective. No one can figure out these teams. Yeah,
- 23:12Speaker 1: I'm going to have to hold you up one second
- 23:14Speaker 1: because I'm getting some money on the vikings right now,
- 23:18Speaker 1: and I'm actually changing the line there, and I'm going,
- 23:21Speaker 1: I don't know if we're gonna get to that game quick,
- 23:23Speaker 1: but I've got some bets coming in. Just a little
- 23:25Speaker 1: move on the vikings here it's the next So there
- 23:29Speaker 1: it goes. I just went to three and a half
- 23:30Speaker 1: on the vikings from three. Well, I'll tell you what,
- 23:35Speaker 1: uh should we do? Some lyne change music is that
- 23:38Speaker 1: we want to do? Yeah? Someone saying, because I just
- 23:41Speaker 1: went nice, I love it nice. Uh that game just
- 23:50Speaker 1: popped from three and a half to four in another book. Um,
- 23:53Speaker 1: so clearly somebody was hitting that. That's really interesting. It's
- 23:57Speaker 1: twelve Eastern on Tuesday afternoon, and um, somebody hit Minnesota
- 24:06Speaker 1: at three and three and a half multiple times. They're
- 24:09Speaker 1: now favored by uh three and a half or four?
- 24:15Speaker 1: Give me the j E. T. S Jets, Jets, Jets
- 24:17Speaker 1: at plus four. My friend, Yeah, it's another one, a
- 24:22Speaker 1: tough one to nothing tough about nothing tough about it
- 24:25Speaker 1: like that is the side. Yeah, uh, you definitely just
- 24:32Speaker 1: have to take the home dog again here. But it
- 24:37Speaker 1: scares me a little bit because the you know, the
- 24:40Speaker 1: Vikings still are you know, one of the teams to
- 24:43Speaker 1: beat in the in the NFC. It's a it's a
- 24:45Speaker 1: tough road game. But well, I just I know the
- 24:49Speaker 1: Jets look pretty good against the Colts, but the Colts
- 24:52Speaker 1: just have no defense. And I think still as great
- 24:56Speaker 1: as Sam Donald looks, he's gonna be going up against
- 24:58Speaker 1: a little bit tougher defense, uh, in the Vikings. I hope.
- 25:04Speaker 1: I hope the Jets win it because obviously we've got
- 25:06Speaker 1: a lot of money on the Vikings. But this is
- 25:08Speaker 1: gonna be a tough one to watch. This is a
- 25:11Speaker 1: no brainer to me. Yeah, if you're a professional, you
- 25:16Speaker 1: go with the Jets. Are you're a professional? Are you
- 25:19Speaker 1: not right? What are you ice in your veins? Declare?
- 25:27Speaker 1: Declare yourself? You know what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah, Indianapolis
- 25:35Speaker 1: called seven and a half over Buffalo. I'm not playing
- 25:37Speaker 1: this game as long as Nathan Peterman is anywhere in
- 25:42Speaker 1: the vicinity of the Buffalo area code or the Indianapolis
- 25:45Speaker 1: Colts Areas area code, from now on, they should. They should.
- 25:48Speaker 1: I said this the other day, rename the pick six
- 25:51Speaker 1: the Peterman I'm with you there. I mean, the Colts
- 25:58Speaker 1: have no defense, like I just said, but if Nathan
- 26:01Speaker 1: Peterman is his quarterback, there's no way you can have
- 26:04Speaker 1: any part of the Bills. This line was probably going
- 26:08Speaker 1: to be about uh four with Josh Allen, so there's
- 26:12Speaker 1: about a four point adjustment. I don't think that's enough,
- 26:15Speaker 1: but it's kind of a dead number. I could easily
- 26:18Speaker 1: go to eight and a half and probably not affect
- 26:20Speaker 1: anything right now. Uh, but I agree with you. I mean,
- 26:24Speaker 1: the Bills played such a good game against Houston last week,
- 26:28Speaker 1: and just what a difference when Peterman came in the
- 26:31Speaker 1: game and just just everything the whole dynamic changed. And uh,
- 26:36Speaker 1: and I've just seen it so many times, and but
- 26:39Speaker 1: I agree with you there. Nathan Peterman has thrown seventy
- 26:45Speaker 1: nine career passes. We talked about this and the favorites
- 26:48Speaker 1: on Monday with Jeff Schwartz and Paul Duca. Seventy nine
- 26:52Speaker 1: career passes nine interceptions. Eleven percent of his passes have
- 26:59Speaker 1: been interceptions. It's got to be a record. It's not
- 27:03Speaker 1: the one you want. I'm Peter, Peter. I love that
- 27:07Speaker 1: it's the Peterman I can't believe I'm the first one
- 27:11Speaker 1: to think of that. I should trademark that we can
- 27:14Speaker 1: do the Peterman catalog and it just be pictures of
- 27:16Speaker 1: all the bad plays that Peterman has and we can
- 27:18Speaker 1: get it narrated by the dude who played j Peterman
- 27:21Speaker 1: in Seinfeld. I was thinking of that. How funny would
- 27:25Speaker 1: that be? Oh my god. I am a content genius
- 27:33Speaker 1: for sure. I gotta get someone on that. I like
- 27:36Speaker 1: to have the ideas and then I like to give
- 27:39Speaker 1: them to people to do. That's my m oh. I'm
- 27:42Speaker 1: an idea man. To shoot him out there. You know,
- 27:44Speaker 1: people gotta figure it out. But I'm generally just a
- 27:47Speaker 1: big idea guy. Yeah, it's the best job there is.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Just be a big idea guy Detroit, Miami. It's not
- 27:53Speaker 1: on the board. Yeah, so obviously, uh, Ryan Tannehill. That's
- 28:00Speaker 1: to make a make a big difference in this one.
- 28:02Speaker 1: I think I'll tell you what. I was a pretty
- 28:07Speaker 1: big Oswilder fan guess what he came through for me. Yeah,
- 28:10Speaker 1: you were an Osweller fan. But he only beats the Bears.
- 28:13Speaker 1: His like, the first game he ever had for the
- 28:15Speaker 1: Broncos beat the Bears, first game for the Texans beat
- 28:19Speaker 1: the Bears, first game for the Dolphins beat the Bears.
- 28:25Speaker 1: I did hear that they were saying that he we
- 28:27Speaker 1: got his whole contract based on the Bears. Should actually
- 28:30Speaker 1: pay his his salary because he's earned every penny of
- 28:33Speaker 1: it against the Bears. You should pay the Bears. Yeah,
- 28:39Speaker 1: But so the Lions will be anywhere from two one
- 28:43Speaker 1: and a half two with Tannehill and probably about five
- 28:47Speaker 1: and a half six without Tannehill. So just when we
- 28:51Speaker 1: do put up that line, but currently off the board,
- 28:56Speaker 1: mm hmm, it's gotta neat in in on that. I
- 29:01Speaker 1: would take the Lillians. You gotta take the home dog, right,
- 29:04Speaker 1: I know. But no matter whose quarterback screw you, scooch,
- 29:11Speaker 1: uh huh, don't throw mine, don't throw those back in
- 29:16Speaker 1: my face exactly. It's like what my kids say. I'll say,
- 29:20Speaker 1: I'll say something. I'm like, I'm like, hey, you guys
- 29:23Speaker 1: will make me. You guys want me to make dinner.
- 29:25Speaker 1: They'll be like, your face wants me to make dinner.
- 29:27Speaker 1: I'm like, that doesn't even make any sense. Are you
- 29:29Speaker 1: burning me right now? What is what is happening like?
- 29:33Speaker 1: And they're like, your face is burning me. I'm like,
- 29:36Speaker 1: I can't even have a conversation with you. And they'll
- 29:39Speaker 1: be like, well that's when you know when you're getting
- 29:41Speaker 1: old and you don't even know if you're being insulted,
- 29:43Speaker 1: and like they're like, I can't have a conversation with
- 29:45Speaker 1: your face. I'm like, I know you can't have a
- 29:47Speaker 1: conversation with my face because my face doesn't want to
- 29:51Speaker 1: have a conversation with you. Do you want any fucking
- 29:54Speaker 1: dinner or not? You just want to like sit there
- 29:56Speaker 1: and starve. Oh that's great. Kids got a lot uh
- 30:07Speaker 1: Philadelphia minus five against Carolina. I liked it better when
- 30:14Speaker 1: it was lower. I don't like it here. Well were
- 30:17Speaker 1: we went to four? So um yeah, so I don't
- 30:21Speaker 1: know if you like it at four? Get some wise
- 30:23Speaker 1: guy money. We we got a little bit. I think
- 30:27Speaker 1: the Eagles are are kind of hitting their Strida took them.
- 30:30Speaker 1: They had their slow start and you know, maybe the
- 30:33Speaker 1: Super Bowl hangover, but there, um, they're starting to draw
- 30:37Speaker 1: a lot of public action. And you know, when they
- 30:39Speaker 1: start covering, that's usually bad for us because now it's
- 30:42Speaker 1: just gonna be like a steam roller effect the Uh
- 30:46Speaker 1: the ticket counts about five to one with us right
- 30:48Speaker 1: now equals to Panthers. Uh. Panthers kind of laid an
- 30:52Speaker 1: egg last week against the Redskins. And I mean they
- 30:55Speaker 1: came within a one play of of tying the game
- 30:59Speaker 1: and pass really winning the game. But but still they
- 31:02Speaker 1: were down seventeen nothing early to the Redskins. And and uh,
- 31:07Speaker 1: I think of of the two teams, the Panthers are
- 31:09Speaker 1: more on the decline in terms of who the betting
- 31:12Speaker 1: public likes and uh, and the Eagles are obviously on
- 31:16Speaker 1: the on the rise, having disappointed a few betters earlier
- 31:19Speaker 1: in the year, but now kind of get like I said,
- 31:22Speaker 1: hitting their stride again. Yeah, I'm passing in this game.
- 31:27Speaker 1: That's a tough one. Um. I mean it's a lot
- 31:30Speaker 1: of points to lay, even for the Eagles at home.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Panthers usually keep the games pretty close. That's a tough one.
- 31:36Speaker 1: I tell you what, I'm not passing on. What's what
- 31:40Speaker 1: Baltimore Ravens down to two at home against the Saints.
- 31:46Speaker 1: To me, this is one of the most intriguing games
- 31:49Speaker 1: on the board. The Saints coming off the bye week,
- 31:51Speaker 1: pretty good offense and the top five in the NFL
- 31:54Speaker 1: with their offense, and going up against the number one
- 31:58Speaker 1: ranked defense right now. Uh so this is kind of
- 32:02Speaker 1: like where the rubber hits the road with these two teams.
- 32:04Speaker 1: But I'll tell you that the Saints, man, they've got
- 32:07Speaker 1: a brutal, brutal schedule. I think they have to win
- 32:11Speaker 1: this one. Uh you know when you say kind of
- 32:13Speaker 1: must win games and key games, Uh, you know, And
- 32:17Speaker 1: there's no guarantee obviously, but um, after after Baltimore they
- 32:22Speaker 1: play at Minnesota and then they play the Rams that
- 32:25Speaker 1: they play the Eagles of foul Because I mean, they've
- 32:27Speaker 1: got a brutal schedule schedule ahead of them and coming
- 32:30Speaker 1: off a bye week, I think they really probably want
- 32:34Speaker 1: to get this game. The betting public seems to like
- 32:37Speaker 1: them the sharp guys. Um Uh No, I wouldn't say
- 32:42Speaker 1: they came in heavy on them. They're just kind of
- 32:44Speaker 1: a taste because the line did go down a little bit.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Um but uh and I don't know how much you
- 32:50Speaker 1: can take in from just the Ravens beating a really
- 32:54Speaker 1: bad offense with Tennessee last week. But this is a
- 32:56Speaker 1: real intriguing game, and it might be the exception when
- 33:00Speaker 1: you don't lay that short home favorite. Oh, I was
- 33:07Speaker 1: thinking the opposite. You were thinking of taking the dog. No,
- 33:11Speaker 1: thinking of laying the short home favorite. Okay, alright, I think, like,
- 33:17Speaker 1: I don't know, man, the Ravens minus two, great defense,
- 33:22Speaker 1: serviceable offense, at home, hyped up crowd like feeling like
- 33:29Speaker 1: they are world leaders right now. And I know that's
- 33:31Speaker 1: sort of not necessarily a great scenario. But I don't
- 33:35Speaker 1: think this. I think this defense is this defense is
- 33:39Speaker 1: historically good. Yeah, they really are. That's why I said
- 33:43Speaker 1: it's where the rubber hits the road here with with
- 33:46Speaker 1: you know, the best defense. I think the Saints are
- 33:48Speaker 1: ranked three on their offense, third in the NFL, so
- 33:53Speaker 1: really kind of uh to me, the most interesting game
- 33:57Speaker 1: on the board. I have four games. I'm starting to
- 33:58Speaker 1: get really excited about five. Six. We're gonna get to
- 34:04Speaker 1: the next two. I'm in Baltimore here, scooch, I'm going
- 34:07Speaker 1: against the wise guys. I don't blame it. Washington minus
- 34:12Speaker 1: one and a half over Dallas. I did not get
- 34:16Speaker 1: the best of the line here. I missed a half
- 34:19Speaker 1: point value here, and I wanted about the Redskins. Yeah,
- 34:25Speaker 1: the Cowboys finally put together, you know, their best game
- 34:28Speaker 1: of the year, and don't care. Regression regression, don't It's
- 34:34Speaker 1: like that great story. I don't it's true, not, but
- 34:38Speaker 1: I'll ship it if he wants, assuming he can. Like
- 34:41Speaker 1: of Jay Cutler. You know, I grew up in Chicago
- 34:44Speaker 1: and Jay Cutler, uh, like, was somewhere like in a
- 34:49Speaker 1: year and all or something in a bar and he's
- 34:52Speaker 1: pissing next to some dude and like the guy was like, Hey,
- 34:55Speaker 1: Jake Cutler, I went to Vanderbilt too, and Jake Culor
- 34:58Speaker 1: just stares at the ceiling goes, don't care. Really, I
- 35:06Speaker 1: don't know if it's true or not, but it sounds
- 35:08Speaker 1: like something that would happen. Yeah, I've heard worse about him,
- 35:12Speaker 1: so I'm I'm assuming that was true. Um, don't care,
- 35:20Speaker 1: don't care, but tell me, tell me you're thinking about
- 35:25Speaker 1: the Cowboys, and I'll I'll interrupt rudely. Well, I mean, obviously,
- 35:31Speaker 1: the history of this rivalry kind of changes a lot
- 35:34Speaker 1: of things. So what you would normally put in a
- 35:36Speaker 1: point spread statistically, don't care. I don't care about your face.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Your face doesn't care. Yeah, what are your fifteen? Your
- 35:57Speaker 1: face is fifteen? That was so good, That was awesome,
- 36:06Speaker 1: so so really, I mean, the betting in this game
- 36:09Speaker 1: is split right down the middle. I can't even I mean,
- 36:12Speaker 1: and I think it's gonna stay that way right until
- 36:15Speaker 1: game time. With the line one one and a half,
- 36:18Speaker 1: even if it goes to pick, even if it goes
- 36:19Speaker 1: to two, it's not enough to really sway anyone to say, oh,
- 36:23Speaker 1: let me take the points with the dog. Uh, it's
- 36:25Speaker 1: just you're picking who's gonna win the game. And um,
- 36:29Speaker 1: right now, both teams looked pretty good, uh last you know, recently,
- 36:33Speaker 1: so there you can't have like a recency bias and bias.
- 36:38Speaker 1: So um uh, this one's split right down the middle.
- 36:41Speaker 1: I think we got the number pretty good and I don't.
- 36:43Speaker 1: I don't think we'll see much movement on it. And
- 36:46Speaker 1: Ben the Ridskins, although you're on the Redskins, I got you.
- 36:50Speaker 1: I will be. I haven't done it yet, but I
- 36:53Speaker 1: will be this next one. Yeah, As my very close
- 37:04Speaker 1: personal friend Keith Jackson used to say, kidding, we're not friends.
- 37:10Speaker 1: I've never met him. Whoa Nelly Rams? Where do they add,
- 37:17Speaker 1: I've seen nine and a half on the road, third
- 37:20Speaker 1: week in a row at the Niners on a short
- 37:24Speaker 1: week after a crushing loss last night, that might have
- 37:32Speaker 1: been the game. That might have been the game for
- 37:35Speaker 1: CJ be third. I might be getting the best of
- 37:37Speaker 1: the number at nine and a half in some places
- 37:40Speaker 1: on the Rams. You know, I don't want to bet
- 37:42Speaker 1: against the home dog like Project double digits, but I
- 37:46Speaker 1: think last night's was a crushing loss, and I don't
- 37:50Speaker 1: think that the Niners defense plays that well. Again, Yeah,
- 37:55Speaker 1: that it's really hard to to rebound so quickly if
- 38:00Speaker 1: or a game that you felt like was yours and
- 38:02Speaker 1: you lost, and I mean emotionally, it's hard to get
- 38:05Speaker 1: back up. Um, had it been any any other week
- 38:09Speaker 1: other than coming off of that, you know, crushing loss,
- 38:12Speaker 1: I'd say you automatically have to take the ten points.
- 38:14Speaker 1: And I still think it. You just have to take
- 38:17Speaker 1: the Yeah, you have to take the ten points. But
- 38:19Speaker 1: but I agree with you. But on the other side,
- 38:22Speaker 1: we've also said that, you know, you had to bet
- 38:24Speaker 1: Seattle at home getting seven points against the Rams a
- 38:27Speaker 1: couple of weeks ago. Um, you had to take the
- 38:30Speaker 1: Broncos against the Rams getting seven points last week and
- 38:35Speaker 1: uh so third third week in a row. The rams
- 38:37Speaker 1: around the road laying real big numbers they haven't covered
- 38:41Speaker 1: once yet, and on the road laying those big numbers.
- 38:44Speaker 1: And this is the biggest number yet. So um, the
- 38:48Speaker 1: professionals will be on on thet is. You'll see this
- 38:51Speaker 1: line come down. Uh just you know, just like you
- 38:54Speaker 1: saw the line come down last night. The Packers were
- 38:57Speaker 1: were as high as ten and in some places it
- 39:00Speaker 1: it down to eight and a half. So the sharp
- 39:01Speaker 1: guys are a late move on the on the dog.
- 39:04Speaker 1: The late move is the correct move, Yes it is.
- 39:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna bet the Niners. I changed my mind just
- 39:10Speaker 1: while you were talking. Wow, Okay, I'm not, but I'm
- 39:15Speaker 1: not betting your face. Your face is a lunch. I'm
- 39:20Speaker 1: not betting either of these last year games. No Kansas
- 39:24Speaker 1: City Chiefs six and a half over the Bengals. Don't
- 39:28Speaker 1: like it? Well, you know the values obviously out of
- 39:31Speaker 1: the Chiefs, we've just been increasing their their power rankings
- 39:37Speaker 1: every week. And and I'll tell you even in their
- 39:38Speaker 1: loss against the the Patriots, uh Mahomes is still as
- 39:42Speaker 1: impressive as ever. Um, you know, it's just it was
- 39:46Speaker 1: a Seesaw game, and in this one, we just know
- 39:49Speaker 1: that everyone's going to be on the chief so we
- 39:51Speaker 1: have to be as high as possible. Um, and then
- 39:54Speaker 1: we'll probably just keep inching it up until we get
- 39:57Speaker 1: some Bengals money. But I don't think it will go
- 39:59Speaker 1: as high ast seven. I think, if anything, the Sharp
- 40:02Speaker 1: guys will kind of keep it, keep it down a
- 40:04Speaker 1: little bit because the Chiefs are already inflated at minus six.
- 40:10Speaker 1: So you're saying there's value on the Bengals. I do, yeah,
- 40:14Speaker 1: I mean we've made this line about as high as
- 40:16Speaker 1: we could make it. Your face is overvalued. Oh that's good.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Here's a each list. Now you're you're just you're just mumbling,
- 40:36Speaker 1: oh my god, this last game is so bad. I'd
- 40:38Speaker 1: rather talk about your face for the next minutes. Then
- 40:42Speaker 1: in the Atlanta Falcons is six and a half point
- 40:44Speaker 1: favorites over the Giants, who are just like, both of
- 40:48Speaker 1: these teams are so bad, so bad. This is it
- 40:53Speaker 1: for the Giants. If the Giants can't produce any offense
- 40:57Speaker 1: against this Falcons team, I think you gotta go to
- 41:00Speaker 1: Tyler Loretta and say so long to Eli. Yeah. I mean,
- 41:05Speaker 1: the people have already been talking about it there. I
- 41:08Speaker 1: hear the chatter. I you know, talked to a lot
- 41:10Speaker 1: of people back east. I was actually in Philadelphia last
- 41:13Speaker 1: week and uh ran into a lot of Giants fans,
- 41:16Speaker 1: and it's always interesting to get just the casual fans
- 41:19Speaker 1: take on things, and uh yeah, that everybody's calling for
- 41:22Speaker 1: a big change and they've just had enough. And uh, like,
- 41:26Speaker 1: I agree with you if they can't that the Falcons
- 41:28Speaker 1: are at the bottom of the league and with their defense,
- 41:31Speaker 1: and I've been kind of high on this Falcons team
- 41:33Speaker 1: largely because of their offense. And uh but if the
- 41:37Speaker 1: Giants can't put up points here, uh here, people are
- 41:40Speaker 1: gonna be calling for some big changes. Lines are moving
- 41:43Speaker 1: like crazy now. The Patriots are at four. We started
- 41:47Speaker 1: the podcast, they were at three and a half. The
- 41:50Speaker 1: Broncos are now with three. We started the podcast, they
- 41:53Speaker 1: were two and a half. You said to wait on that. Uh,
- 41:56Speaker 1: Minnesota's at four. We moved at while we were on
- 41:58Speaker 1: the podcast. Um, you moved to three and a half.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Uh what is going on here? Someone is like, yeah,
- 42:05Speaker 1: someone's moving moving markets here. It's moving day, Moving day. Yeah,
- 42:14Speaker 1: we got some scoochroo let decisions to make. We do
- 42:24Speaker 1: I forgot that it's coming. There are so many games.
- 42:29Speaker 1: I like, so many games, many games, so just to
- 42:33Speaker 1: narrow it down to one so hard. Well, I won
- 42:36Speaker 1: last week. Yeah, and you know what, I want you
- 42:39Speaker 1: to go first, because you went first last week. You
- 42:42Speaker 1: stole the game that I wanted. I ended up having
- 42:45Speaker 1: to choose a different game. You got hooked. I won
- 42:51Speaker 1: because I am Also, by the way, the Jags have
- 42:54Speaker 1: moved from four and a half to from from five
- 42:57Speaker 1: to four and a half. Okay, are you moving these lines?
- 43:01Speaker 1: Two scooches, the book being what do you want to do?
- 43:08Speaker 1: You go ahead your podcast. It's really I love the
- 43:11Speaker 1: Bears and I like the Redskins. I like them both.
- 43:15Speaker 1: But but but I can't. I just can't go. I'm
- 43:19Speaker 1: staying away from Bill Belichick, whether I'm on him or
- 43:22Speaker 1: against him. So Redskins, Oh my god, oh my god.
- 43:27Speaker 1: I can't believe I let you go first, because those
- 43:31Speaker 1: were the two games I was thinking about, and I
- 43:34Speaker 1: was not going to go with the Bears for the
- 43:35Speaker 1: exact reason you just said. So now now, so now
- 43:48Speaker 1: you're not even gonna go with the Bears. Those are
- 43:50Speaker 1: the two games, and now you're you're going to your
- 43:53Speaker 1: third choice. Yeah, I think so. It's like my safety
- 43:56Speaker 1: safety school. I uh fidge foolery, dack nabbitt. I'm torn
- 44:08Speaker 1: down between the Bears and the Arizona Cardinals. I'll tell
- 44:15Speaker 1: you what. I'll tell you what. Yeah, I'm going with
- 44:19Speaker 1: the Cardinals. I think the Cardinals have a better chance
- 44:20Speaker 1: to win that game than the Bears do. And I
- 44:23Speaker 1: think like Denver is just a bad team. I think
- 44:26Speaker 1: they had their best game of the year against the Rams. Uh,
- 44:31Speaker 1: give me, give me Denver Denver minus. I mean, give
- 44:33Speaker 1: me Arizona, Arizona, Arizona plus three. Boom, and I'm the
- 44:39Speaker 1: only plus three. I don't know where you're so, yeah,
- 44:42Speaker 1: you got plus three with me? Give me the plus three. Well,
- 44:45Speaker 1: I see a plus three in my your allegedly in
- 44:48Speaker 1: my Action Network app. I only look at the Action
- 44:51Speaker 1: Network gap. Okay, but I can choose from fifty five
- 44:56Speaker 1: sports books to give me lines. I can choose a
- 44:59Speaker 1: consensus line from the Action Network, or I can choose
- 45:04Speaker 1: one of the books to give me their line. I
- 45:07Speaker 1: have chose network. Uh, you gotta go to the app store.
- 45:11Speaker 1: You gotta download Action Network. Okay, you know we could
- 45:14Speaker 1: probably get the boyd Gaming lines into the Action Network app.
- 45:18Speaker 1: They're not in here, can work on that? Yeah, why
- 45:21Speaker 1: working on it? Why don't we work on that? Deal?
- 45:24Speaker 1: Mr Bob Scucci, thank you as always for coming on
