Decomposed Body Found During Hotel Demolition | Lafayette Louisiana News
Demolition crews tearing down the old La Quinta Inn on NE Evangeline Thruway stumbled upon human remains — a severely decomposed man whose death likely predates the demolition. Police say the body was found Thursday evening, and while the hotel had been a known spot for homeless individuals, the cause and identity of the victim remain unknown pending autopsy results. The site also recently experienced a fire, and investigators are actively seeking public tips to help solve this chilling discovery.
