🇺🇲 DON'T MISS OUT! 🇺🇲 - World SILVER Price FRENZY News - (Gold Price Too!) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

• 0:00
A silver rush, and you do not want to miss out.
• 0:03
Sure, you've heard of the silver squeeze, but what about the big
• 0:07
silver rush going on right now? We're going to talk about that
• 0:10
in this video, but also we're going to talk about the mystery
• 0:14
metal one you've probably never heard of, which is just as
• 0:18
critical to the future of the world.
• 0:21
  Energy transition, Technology transition.
• 0:28
It's time for us to believe 2024 could definitely be the year for
• 0:34
big, big silver moves. Look no further than our friends
• 0:38
in India who imported during the first quarter of this year more
• 0:42
silver than they imported during the entire year of 2023 / 120
• 0:50
million ounces of silver, which equates to like 18% of the
• 0:55
entire mine output for the entire year.
• 0:58
But take a look at this. It's going to continue to grow.
• 1:02
Indian solar installations increased by over 400% in the
• 1:06
first quarter of 2024 to the highest quarterly deployment
• 1:11
levels in history. And it's even crazier when we go
• 1:16
to China. This excellent piece of research
• 1:19
by Laurent Morrow on thegoldbroker.com website talks
• 1:23
about a silver rush. Now we're going to talk about
• 1:26
gold briefly first, because gold is the Mama bear of the precious
• 1:31
  metals. He says here.
• 1:33
China remains the main driver in the gold frenzy.
• 1:37
Trading volumes on the Shanghai market have exploded in recent
• 1:41
days. Look at the volume of trading
• 1:45
going on on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
• 1:48
Unbelievable. I believe that's referred to as
• 1:51
a hockey stick. The feverish outburst is now
• 1:55
largely accompanied by a record number of open long positions in
• 2:00
the futures market. This shows the Shanghai Futures
• 2:03
Exchange volume. And I mean, look at this volume.
• 2:06
We were nearly, what, 100,000 contracts?
• 2:10
Now we're pushing up to 300,000 contracts.
• 2:14
What's behind all this? Gold has been the asset of
• 2:17
choice for the Chinese since the stock market underperformed and
• 2:22
the property market fell. And in fact, in recent weeks,
• 2:26
the Chinese real estate market has fall has accelerated.
• 2:30
This shows right the average home prices dropping and
• 2:33
dropping. The Chinese love silver and
• 2:36
we're going to get to the silver rush side of this in just one
• 2:39
second. But they love gold just as much.
• 2:43
And when their stock market went down as their real estate market
• 2:46
went down, as they don't trust the banks, they're going to the
• 2:50
metals that have been ingrained in their society for thousands
• 2:55
of years, silver and gold. One thing we want to mention
• 2:59
about copper is the copper is at all time high price levels.
• 3:03
Gold as it is at all time high price levels.
• 3:08
Guys, silver sits right in the middle.
• 3:10
It's the half brother of both copper on the industrial side
• 3:15
and gold on the monetary side, right?
• 3:18
Silver has a split personality. Don't you find it interesting
• 3:22
that those two halves of silver, gold On the monetary side, all
• 3:26
time high prices, copper on the industrial side, all time high
• 3:31
prices. Copper actually had a squeeze.
• 3:34
Silver sitting there right in the middle with better
• 3:37
fundamentals than either of those metals in my opinion, and
• 3:41
probably your opinion as well. But silver is still far, far
• 3:46
from its all time highs. Another metal has taken a giant
• 3:49
leap forward in the space of just a few weeks.
• 3:53
Silver, OK, he says. He published a bulletin last
• 3:56
week talking about a silver short squeeze.
• 3:59
We're hearing more and more about an impending potential
• 4:04
silver short squeeze. Silver prices quoted in the in
• 4:08
Shanghai continue to break records, while premiums between
• 4:11
the Chinese and London markets are also at historic high
• 4:16
levels. This chart shows the difference
• 4:18
in price for silver on the LBMA. The white line in the Shanghai
• 4:23
price, the gold mine as you can see significantly higher.
• 4:27
If we look at this chart, it shows the premium.
• 4:30
This is how much more per oz an ounce of silver cost in Shanghai
• 4:35
versus the LBMA. And if we look here, that number
• 4:39
has skyrocketed to over $4.00 per oz.
• 4:43
And trading volume and silver contracts also reached a peak on
• 4:48
the Chinese futures market. The influx of long contracts
• 4:52
even forced the Chinese authorities to raise margin
• 4:56
levels to calm speculation. This shows here call volume on
• 5:00
the Shanghai Futures Exchange. See the green, That's very, very
• 5:05
encouraging in terms of what people believe in China
• 5:08
regarding the future price of silver.
• 5:12
And this is the call volume chart as well, the light blue
• 5:16
  line. Just unbelievable silver frenzy
• 5:19
going on in China right now. China's gold rush is turning
• 5:24
into a silver rush, a phenomenon still largely neglected in
• 5:29
Western countries. Think about it, in the United
• 5:32
  States, nobody's talking about silver.
• 5:34
We know the the amount of money going into the silver ETFs until
• 5:38
recently had been going down, down, down.
• 5:40
Premiums on, on silver bullion, silver coins are down.
• 5:46
That's a the biggest indicator as to retail interest in silver
• 5:51
in the United States. So all of this is going on while
• 5:55
most Americans are asleep. I know you're not part of that
• 5:59
asleep crowd, but most Americans are asleep.
• 6:01
In nominal terms, the price of silver has returned to levels
• 6:06
seen 11 years ago, but in real terms, it's still a long way
• 6:11
from the peak it reached in 2020.
• 6:15
The with the equivalent of almost $35 per oz today.
• 6:18
And what they're saying there is when you factor in the crazy
• 6:21
inflation we had since 2020, the inflation adjusted high of 2020
• 6:27
is actually closer to $35 per oz today.
• 6:30
Looking back to the 1980 peak, we can see that in real terms,
• 6:34
silver is still a long way from its value at the time.
• 6:37
In fact, adjusted for inflation, the price of silver has fallen
• 6:42
consider considerably over the last 45 years.
• 6:45
The silver inflation ratio is currently trying to breakthrough
• 6:50
a negative trend. Look at that downward trend in
• 6:53
real inflation adjusted silver. Silver's continued rise would be
• 6:58
a generational event, a silver rush.
• 7:01
Guys, are we in the early innings?
• 7:04
Ask yourself that question as it would finally mean that the
• 7:08
metal is emerging from its downtrend in real terms.
• 7:12
This is the signal many investors have been waiting for
• 7:15
to get back into mining companies.
• 7:17
And I would also add physical silver bullion in China.
• 7:21
The gold rush is now accompanied by a copper and silver rush.
• 7:26
This rush into tangible metals comes at a time when China is
• 7:30
stepping up its sales of U.S. Treasuries, dumping the dollar.
• 7:36
China has reduced its U.S. Treasuries for three consecutive
• 7:39
months, liquidating a total of 76 billion.
• 7:42
China reserves now stand at 767 billion, returning to levels
• 7:47
similar to 2009. China is selling its U.S.
• 7:52
Treasuries and stockpiling metals like silver and gold.
• 7:58
We are, I believe, in the early innings of an epic silver rush.
• 8:03
It will only get more interesting from here.
• 8:06
Next, let's talk about the mystery metal and then we're
• 8:10
gonna talk about unbelievable macro type factors that are
• 8:14
  supporting all the precious metals.
• 8:16
I want to talk to you about the sponsor of today's video, IBER,
• 8:21
American stock symbol IBRLF. Hey, we talk a lot about the
• 8:26
exploding demand for silver from the green energy and technology
• 8:32
sectors, but is there another metal, one that you've heard of
• 8:38
that could prove just as critical and profitable?
• 8:42
We're talking about 10, and I have to admit this was news to
• 8:47
me, but legendary investor Rick Rule recently called tin the
• 8:53
  forgotten energy transition material.
• 8:57
Tin is the forgotten energy transition material.
• 9:01
I I mean the tin price has done well in the last two years.
• 9:05
I think tin continues to do well.
• 9:08
To the extent that there is ever any need to slaughter anything
• 9:13
for electricity, tin will do well.
• 9:16
It's the best substance in the world.
• 9:19
Tin production is fairly constrained too.
• 9:24
It was the best performing base metal during the first quarter
• 9:27
of 2024 for good reason. It's the glue that holds all the
• 9:32
other metals together, an essential component of the
• 9:36
solder that's used in making things like semiconductors,
• 9:39
electric cars, solar panels, and much, much more.
• 9:43
Pretty much anything electronic demands the use of 10.
• 9:48
As the world is demanding more and more of this critical metal,
• 9:52
the supply sources are plagued by political and production
• 9:56
instability. This cast an air of uncertainty
• 10:00
over future supplies, and further complicating matters,
• 10:04
China produces most of the world's ten, but they consume
• 10:08
even more. Iber American is in the final
• 10:12
stages of acquiring one of the only large 10 mines located in a
• 10:16
first world country, the Pinata Mine in northern Spain, a
• 10:21
familiar region for the company where they've already been
• 10:24
exploring for lithium. From an investment perspective,
• 10:28
there are very few options to gain exposure to the 10 market,
• 10:32
and even fewer in first world jurisdictions.
• 10:36
Iber American is offering us that opportunity right now.
• 10:40
They're acquiring the Pinata Mine, which had 10s of millions
• 10:44
spent on it over the previous years, and they're paying just
• 10:47
6,000,000 Canadian dollars. The previous operator had a peak
• 10:52
market capitalization of $78 million and until they ran into
• 10:58
operational issues, were producing large amounts of 10.
• 11:03
Once the acquisition is approved and permits are worked out, this
• 11:06
could prove to be a massive cash cow for Iber American.
• 11:11
The CEO, Campbell Betcher, has an engineering team ready to go
• 11:16
to get the mine running in an efficient manner, and his
• 11:19
experience includes having founded Byron Capital Markets,
• 11:23
an investment bank focused on the electric metals sector.
• 11:27
It's also important to note that one of the company's directors,
• 11:30
David T Young, is a previous principal at The Carlyle Group,
• 11:35
a private equity firm with over 300 billion in assets, where he
• 11:40
was part of a leadership team managing over $4 billion in
• 11:45
natural resource investments. Tin is a critical metal to the
• 11:50
energy and technological revolution sweeping the world.
• 11:55
With an erratic supply source, it's no wonder tin was the best
• 11:58
performing base metal in the first quarter of 2024.
• 12:03
Iber American offers investors the potential for big profits as
• 12:08
it opportunistically picks up one of the world's best tin
• 12:12
mines in one of the world's best jurisdictions.
• 12:16
You can learn more about Iber American at the website below.
• 12:20
In the stock trades with the symbol IBRLF.
• 12:25
Do you believe we're in the beginning phases of an epic bull
• 12:29
run in silver and gold? Now let's look at some of the
• 12:32
big picture reasons why I believe we are silver is in a
• 12:38
new era. Look at this chart.
• 12:40
One year, just three months ago, we were at $22.00 per oz on
• 12:45
silver. Do you remember those days?
• 12:47
They were rather dark, but we rallied over $10 all the way to
• 12:52
$32 per oz. We pulled back a little, which
• 12:55
is normal for a bull market, but the important thing to see on
• 13:00
this chart is the fact that for a long period of time, the
• 13:04
preceding nine months, we were in a tight range.
• 13:07
Very unusual behavior for silver, which is always a very
• 13:13
volatile metal. And as a matter of fact, if we
• 13:16
go back even a few years earlier, we had a similar
• 13:19
circumstance. We need to throw out the last
• 13:23
three years of the silver chart. It really doesn't matter anymore
• 13:28
because we have broken out and we have blue skies ahead.
• 13:33
And this is probably the biggest, best chart in the
• 13:35
history of any precious metal, the 45 year cup and handle
• 13:40
pattern on silver dating all the way back to 1980.
• 13:45
But what's so interesting about this is if we look at the
• 13:49
handle, which is where we are right now in this powerful chart
• 13:54
pattern, there's actually another cup and handle embedded
• 13:58
in the handle of the primary cup and handle.
• 14:02
And wait, there's more within that handle.
• 14:05
There's also an inverse head and shoulders pattern, which is
• 14:08
very, very bullish for the price of silver.
• 14:11
And on top of that, the silver price has recently broke out of
• 14:17
a wedge pattern, another bullish signal we've got like the quad
• 14:22
Vecta of positive technical patterns in the silver price.
• 14:27
And let's talk about the big picture for a second.
• 14:30
We are living right now in the biggest bubble from a credit
• 14:34
perspective, from a money printing perspective, from a
• 14:37
stock market perspective, from a real estate for every
• 14:41
perspective, everything synthetic especially, we are in
• 14:45
a massive, massive bubble right now.
• 14:48
All of that is backed up by a tiny relative amount of silver
• 14:54
and gold. As a matter of fact, it's so
• 14:56
critical for us to understand that the disconnect right now
• 15:00
between real assets, commodities in the synthetic assets are near
• 15:05
historic levels. Every time that's ever happened
• 15:09
in the past, we've had massive, massive upheaval, sometimes
• 15:13
monetary systems changing, but always a massive revaluation for
• 15:19
real assets like silver and gold.
• 15:23
Because you have something in common with silver and gold,
• 15:26
you're very intelligent. A lot of people say the silver
• 15:30
and gold markets are the smartest markets in the world.
• 15:33
They see further out into the future than any other markets.
• 15:37
And what they see right now is big, big trouble.
• 15:41
Do you sense that everywhere else in the world they're
• 15:44
embracing silver and gold right now?
• 15:48
It's happening. We also know that the world is
• 15:52
hemorrhaging that, led by the United States.
• 15:56
To wrap this idea all up, basically, the US dollar will
• 16:00
continue to go down in value, inflation will continue to go
• 16:05
higher, and there's no other end result that can happen besides
• 16:10
the price and real value of precious metals going higher and
• 16:15
higher. I have a confession to make.
• 16:17
I've learned these lessons the hard, hard way.
• 16:21
Had I learned them earlier in life and applied them, I'd
• 16:24
probably have multiples more wealth than I have right now.
• 16:28
But guys, we are in for some crazy times.
• 16:31
Being invested in silver, in gold, in the precious metal
• 16:35
mining stocks. We're gonna have wild price
• 16:39
swings, OK? And when the price goes up, it's
• 16:42
a lot of fun and exciting. But when the price pulls back,
• 16:47
corrects, consolidated a bit, it can be very, very difficult
• 16:51
emotionally to deal with. You get a lot of fear, you get a
• 16:55
lot of greed. The big key thing that you
• 16:58
always need to remember, whether you're investing in physical
• 17:01
metals or the mining stocks, is to do your best to strip
• 17:05
emotions out of your decisions. I found, and I know the research
• 17:11
has shown, that making investment decisions based off
• 17:14
our emotions typically leads to bad decisions.
• 17:19
So when things get crazy, have a plan written out.
• 17:23
Have ideas written out. Sometimes it's even smart to do
• 17:27
the opposite of what you're feeling, right?
• 17:29
If you have a stock or the price of silver goes up, up, up,
• 17:34
sometimes you can get scared, especially if you have a little
• 17:37
pull back, that you're going to lose all your gains.
• 17:40
So you say, forget it, I'm done, I'm going to sell.
• 17:43
Have you ever had that happen to you?
• 17:44
I have, because then what happens in the forthcoming weeks
• 17:48
is the price continues to skyrocket.
• 17:52
Hey look, nobody has a crystal ball and there's no perfect
• 17:55
formula for making decisions, but a good general piece of
• 17:59
investing advice that could save you 10s of thousands, possibly
• 18:04
even millions of dollars is be self aware as things are
• 18:09
unfolding and do your best to strip emotions out of your
• 18:13
decision. Always take a step back and look
• 18:16
at the decision that you're trying to make.
• 18:18
Does your thesis remain intact for the stock that you own?
• 18:22
Does your thesis remain intact for why you own physical silver
• 18:27
or physical gold? If you can get the emotions out
• 18:31
as much as possible, you're much more likely to make good
• 18:34
decisions. I appreciate you joining me
• 18:36
today here in the basement. Look, we could be in for a wild
• 18:41
silver rush. We learned about 10A fascinating
• 18:46
metal that I'd know nothing about before researching this
• 18:49
company, and we talked about the big picture reasons why I and
• 18:55
probably you believe still in the thesis for precious metals.
• 19:00
You take care of yourself and I'll look forward to seeing you
• 19:03
  next time.
