An emu that’s been roaming North Jersey for nearly two weeks has finally been caught—thanks to apples, a clever trap, and a calm bird who walked right in for a snack. Animal Control Officer Gianna DiMatteo nabbed the five-foot-tall, 30-mph sprinter on Colby Drive in Byram, after it wandered from Budd Lake.
