- 1:00Speaker 5: listening to this, whether it's a podcast, just feel free
- 1:02Speaker 5: to drop a comment, had a review if you don't mind.
- 1:04Speaker 5: And who remembers when Jesus said who amongst us without sin,
- 1:08Speaker 5: let him cast the first stone. Of course, that was
- 1:11Speaker 5: a passage from the Bible and catches Mary Magdalene and
- 1:14Speaker 5: an act of ill repute. Everybody was about to stone
- 1:17Speaker 5: her to death, and his words, he who is without sin,
- 1:22Speaker 5: let him cast the first stone. I feel like that's
- 1:25Speaker 5: where we are today. I would contend that we've abandoned
- 1:28Speaker 5: the Christian principle of forgiveness, and too many of us
- 1:31Speaker 5: have doubled down on this unattainable accountability. In fact, it's
- 1:35Speaker 5: a level of justice and accountability that we've honestly never
- 1:38Speaker 5: experienced in this planet or in our lifetimes. I'll say
- 1:42Speaker 5: to you this, whoever's lived a life and you've noticed
- 1:46Speaker 5: how government works, We've never had a system of government
- 1:49Speaker 5: that's devoid of corruption. Right, They've never gotten every last
- 1:53Speaker 5: deep state swamp creature. There's never been a time where
- 1:56Speaker 5: there wasn't corruption. So what we we had was a
- 2:00Speaker 5: time where we were distracted by phishing and sports and
- 2:05Speaker 5: TV networks, Hollywood, other types of entertainment, the media, those
- 2:10Speaker 5: types of things, and we love those things. We love
- 2:12Speaker 5: these illusions, right, We love that Ronald Reagan and Temple
- 2:16Speaker 5: O'Neill were like best friends and bipartisanship was somehow sacrosanct.
- 2:21Speaker 5: It was holier than now. But now the tables have turned.
- 2:24Speaker 5: We feel like we've been awakened, so to speak. We're
- 2:27Speaker 5: trying to wake up others that are still asleep. But
- 2:30Speaker 5: the circumstances remain the same, even though what we see
- 2:35Speaker 5: is a little different. So I'm going to ask you
- 2:37Speaker 5: who amongst us has lived in a world that's free
- 2:40Speaker 5: of corruption, where governments don't fall victim to the plague
- 2:43Speaker 5: of self dealing, self interested, a depraved heart. Just like
- 2:46Speaker 5: every person in our society and every other walk of life,
- 2:50Speaker 5: none of us has lived that way. We should always
- 2:52Speaker 5: seek and fight for the truth, and we should never
- 2:55Speaker 5: abandon the pursuit for justice or accountability. But we shouldn't
- 2:59Speaker 5: fixate ourselves on fabrications of fiction, deluding ourselves into thinking
- 3:04Speaker 5: that corruption can disappear from this life or from this earth. That,
- 3:08Speaker 5: my friends, can only happen in the second coming of Christ.
- 3:11Speaker 5: And until then, we live each day the best we can.
- 3:16Speaker 5: Right with God, God bless Donaldus Magnus, God Bless the
- 3:21Speaker 5: men and women in our armed forces. God bless our
- 3:24Speaker 5: first responders, God bless America. How rich Vael does I
- 3:27Speaker 5: approve this message right? It sounds like a campaign speech,
- 3:30Speaker 5: but I wanted to bring that up because we want
- 3:34Speaker 5: something that we can't have and we still see all
- 3:37Speaker 5: sorts of depravity and then people feel like, hey, but
- 3:40Speaker 5: I thought, but I thought, I thought we voted against that.
- 3:43Speaker 5: We did, but it doesn't mean it's the end. Now
- 3:46Speaker 5: I want to talk to you about a guy named
- 3:48Speaker 5: Gerald Eddie Brown, Junior. This guy's a retired Air Force
- 3:50Speaker 5: officer with twenty four years of experience. He was arrested
- 3:54Speaker 5: in Jeffersonville, Indiana, on federal charges that include providing and
- 3:58Speaker 5: conspiring to provide unauthorized defense services to the Chinese military. Brown,
- 4:04Speaker 5: who's a major retired major, was training pilots of the
- 4:08Speaker 5: People's Liberation Army Air Force without obtaining a state department license,
- 4:13Speaker 5: which is a violation of the Arms Export Control Act
- 4:16Speaker 5: AECA for those who know, and some other international trade regulations.
- 4:23Speaker 5: We're going to get to that in the moment. Plus
- 4:25Speaker 5: Hillary Clinton testified today behind closed doors. I got some
- 4:28Speaker 5: of the scoop on that we're going to get to that.
- 4:30Speaker 5: Cuba has killed a boat filled with Americans, six of
- 4:34Speaker 5: them on there for them are dead.
- 4:36Speaker 6: By Cuban authorities of an incident off the coast to Cuba.
- 4:40Speaker 6: We immediately began to look into it. As it stands now,
- 4:44Speaker 6: the Department of Homeland Security, the Coast Guard, others are involved.
- 4:48Speaker 6: The majority of the information was still possessed. Is what
- 4:50Speaker 6: Cuban authorities are providing both the public and.
- 4:53Speaker 5: The US government.
- 4:55Speaker 6: We have our embassy on the ground in Havana working
- 4:57Speaker 6: this as we speak, asking for access to the people
- 5:01Speaker 6: that were on those vessels, if they were American citizens
- 5:03Speaker 6: or permanent residents. According to the Cuban regime, a vote
- 5:08Speaker 6: was registered in Florida. We're tracking that down. We won't
- 5:11Speaker 6: know shortly, and we won't quickly many more facts about
- 5:15Speaker 6: this incident than we know right the majority of.
- 5:18Speaker 7: The facts.
- 5:22Speaker 6: Cubans. We will verify that independently and well. As we
- 5:26Speaker 6: gather more information, then we'll be prepared to respond. According
- 5:30Speaker 6: to me, I'm not going to speculate. I'm not going
- 5:33Speaker 6: to pine on what I don't know, but we're going
- 5:36Speaker 6: to find out exactly what happened here, and then we'll respond,
- 5:39Speaker 6: according to.
- 5:40Speaker 5: Me, Mom, Donnie's in the White House lobbying Trump to
- 5:43Speaker 5: let go of a hamas terrast sympathizer. Guess what he won?
- 5:47Speaker 5: Trump said, you got it. He let her go, and
- 5:50Speaker 5: all that is coming up straight ahead. Retired Air Force
- 5:53Speaker 5: General Blaine Holt joins us, don't go anywhere. I'm Rich Valdez.
- 5:58Speaker 1: This is America. This is America.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Bara in Glace or Prims Barah richmald Is e s
- 6:13Speaker 3: Dous America Awara.
- 6:20Speaker 8: Cuba's government says four people on a speedboat registered in
- 6:24Speaker 8: the United States have been shot and killed.
- 6:26Speaker 9: Cuba's Interior ministry says the boat was intercepted in Cuban waters.
- 6:30Speaker 8: NBC News correspondent George Solisi's tracking this one, now, George,
- 6:34Speaker 8: what more have we learned about this incident?
- 6:37Speaker 10: Hey guys, this is a very fluid situation. As you mentioned,
- 6:39Speaker 10: the Cuban government announcing that four people were killed as
- 6:43Speaker 10: a result of this boat attack and six others were injured.
- 6:46Speaker 10: From the Ministry of the Interior there, what we're learning
- 6:48Speaker 10: is they're saying of the morning this morning today they
- 6:51Speaker 10: detected an illegal speedboat there off the northern coast of Cuba.
- 6:55Speaker 10: They're saying their own officials approached this boat and there
- 7:00Speaker 10: was an ensuing gunfight and during this gunfight. They're saying
- 7:04Speaker 10: that four of these people on board this boat, we
- 7:06Speaker 10: don't know what they were doing there, we don't know
- 7:08Speaker 10: what their purpose was, were reportedly killed, and these six
- 7:12Speaker 10: others were injured. They were then transported. We're not sure
- 7:15Speaker 10: we're at this hour. Cuba is saying that as the
- 7:17Speaker 10: consequence of this, they are trying to protect their waters.
- 7:22Speaker 2: In their words, the.
- 7:23Speaker 10: Cuban state is safeguarding its sovereignty and stability in the region.
- 7:27Speaker 10: Right now, we are starting to get some reaction from lawmakers,
- 7:30Speaker 10: specifically Representative Carlos Semenez here in Florida, who x posted
- 7:35Speaker 10: a little bit ago saying, quote, the dictatorship in Cuba
- 7:37Speaker 10: has just attacked a boat from Florida and murdered those
- 7:41Speaker 10: on board. Those are his words, saying, this regimen, regime,
- 7:44Speaker 10: excuse me, must be regulated to the dust bin of
- 7:47Speaker 10: history right now. And of course we are out to
- 7:49Speaker 10: other officials as well to learn more about this incident.
- 7:52Speaker 10: We do know as far as this vessel it was
- 7:54Speaker 10: registered here to Florida, but again what it may have
- 7:59Speaker 10: been doing there and this part of Cuba when this
- 8:01Speaker 10: attack happened still remains unclear.
- 8:04Speaker 5: Guys, welcome back America. Rich Valdez keeping your company tonight,
- 8:07Speaker 5: and I want to bring in an official official, like
- 8:10Speaker 5: a referee with a whistle. General Blaine Holt retired United
- 8:14Speaker 5: States Air Force General. He was the deputy representative for
- 8:20Speaker 5: NATO for the United States and he's one of the
- 8:24Speaker 5: best out there. You've seen him on Newsmax. I've heard
- 8:26Speaker 5: him on my show a bunch of times, and he's
- 8:28Speaker 5: with us now. General, welcome, what's great to be with you.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Thanks for having me on you bet now.
- 8:34Speaker 5: General, I know that you were in an undisclosed location,
- 8:37Speaker 5: which is why we can't see your face, but we
- 8:39Speaker 5: do know that you were on the phone with us,
- 8:41Speaker 5: and I want to know from your perspective. You know,
- 8:44Speaker 5: I like to make a joke out of everything, but
- 8:45Speaker 5: this doesn't seem like a joking matter. I'm going to
- 8:48Speaker 5: toss this to you, and I really want you to
- 8:49Speaker 5: take the ball and run with it because it seems
- 8:52Speaker 5: like the Cubans have shot a boat out of the
- 8:55Speaker 5: water filled with Americans. Tell us what's going on?
- 8:59Speaker 2: Yeah, So all we know so far is the Cuban
- 9:02Speaker 2: government released their side of the story. They say they
- 9:07Speaker 2: were fired upon, then they dropped and killed. I think
- 9:11Speaker 2: four so far that we know of others injured. Six
- 9:14Speaker 2: Americans taken prisoner. They are in detention now getting medical
- 9:20Speaker 2: care as well. Is what the Cuban government is relaying,
- 9:24Speaker 2: and we're told that these are Cuban Americans that found
- 9:28Speaker 2: their way into the territorial waters of Cuba. So we
- 9:32Speaker 2: haven't really heard too much from our government yet except
- 9:35Speaker 2: the usual starting story, which is, look, we're going to
- 9:38Speaker 2: do everything in our power to get them out of there.
- 9:41Speaker 2: But a whole lot of this story does not add up,
- 9:43Speaker 2: and it's a very very serious thing, especially when you
- 9:46Speaker 2: think of the pressure we're applying to Cuba right now
- 9:49Speaker 2: the Castro government and what it would look like for
- 9:53Speaker 2: Americans to be in a detention situation. There no word
- 9:57Speaker 2: on whether this was some sort of clandestine op from
- 9:59Speaker 2: the United S state. It's no word on any of that,
- 10:03Speaker 2: But hopefully the US government will have a statement here
- 10:07Speaker 2: before too long to kind of shed some light on this.
- 10:09Speaker 2: It's very serious, yeah.
- 10:10Speaker 5: It seems that way. And again I know that there
- 10:13Speaker 5: are clandestine operations that are obviously clandestine right their secret
- 10:17Speaker 5: they're top secret, they're oftentimes not sanctioned by the country
- 10:21Speaker 5: per se. They are you know, happening outside of the
- 10:25Speaker 5: realm of official conduct. What's the I don't want to
- 10:30Speaker 5: say likelihood, but I guess probability possibility based on your
- 10:34Speaker 5: experience when you hear about a bunch of Americans and
- 10:37Speaker 5: getting caught in the outskirts of some country. I would
- 10:41Speaker 5: feel like if this were a bunch of guys that
- 10:44Speaker 5: were fishing and got lost off of Key West, that
- 10:47Speaker 5: the White House or others would be saying, Hey, we're
- 10:49Speaker 5: taking this really seriously, what's going on? How dare you?
- 10:52Speaker 5: And I don't seem to be hearing any of that
- 10:54Speaker 5: coming out of Washington.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Yeah, that's exactly right. And it's kind of another tell.
- 11:00Speaker 2: And let's you know, the likelihood that a random fishing
- 11:03Speaker 2: boat from Key West got wildly off course and then
- 11:06Speaker 2: all of a sudden, the crew of ten is well
- 11:08Speaker 2: armed with a bunch of weapons. Ah, we're probably looking
- 11:13Speaker 2: at some operation that didn't go so well. Or you
- 11:16Speaker 2: could be looking at private security contractors like you know,
- 11:21Speaker 2: in the old days we had Blackwater. There are several
- 11:23Speaker 2: like them, but they get paid an extensive amount of
- 11:26Speaker 2: money to do extractions or to go in and get
- 11:28Speaker 2: something done, and if they get discovered this is the
- 11:31Speaker 2: thing that it could be, So it could We can't
- 11:33Speaker 2: roll that out either.
- 11:35Speaker 5: Right, Well, let's talk about that a little bit. And again,
- 11:37Speaker 5: because I think this is an interesting area. Right, let
- 11:40Speaker 5: us say you know, you are someone with significant means,
- 11:43Speaker 5: You've got your mansion in Miami, You've done really well
- 11:45Speaker 5: for yourself, you have some family that are back on
- 11:48Speaker 5: the island in Cuba, and you say, you know what,
- 11:50Speaker 5: I'm going to send some guys to get you. I
- 11:52Speaker 5: was at a great shindig at mar A Lago just
- 11:55Speaker 5: saying making this up, and I met a guy who
- 11:58Speaker 5: runs the private security companies. Guys are all former seals,
- 12:02Speaker 5: former CIA, black ops guys, and they said, for this much,
- 12:07Speaker 5: we can go get your family member, make sure we
- 12:09Speaker 5: get them home safely, and they get hired for this.
- 12:13Speaker 5: This has nothing to do with the government, right, And
- 12:15Speaker 5: you're saying something like that could also be the case.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Yeah, it could be the case. I know firsthand that
- 12:21Speaker 2: these things happen around the world for very very high
- 12:24Speaker 2: sums of money. And if you recall, during the Fall
- 12:28Speaker 2: of Kabble, it was many of these organizations that stopped
- 12:32Speaker 2: their profit part of their company and applied themselves to
- 12:35Speaker 2: getting as many of the interpreters and the families of
- 12:38Speaker 2: the interpreters that helped us through Afghanistan to get out
- 12:40Speaker 2: of there. And so I have, in my own work
- 12:43Speaker 2: to try to get friends of America out of Afghanistan,
- 12:46Speaker 2: come into contact with several of these folks. But if
- 12:49Speaker 2: they are not paid in significant amounts of money to
- 12:52Speaker 2: go do this type of work, it's very dangerous. And
- 12:55Speaker 2: the reason they bring the weapons because if they get discovered,
- 12:57Speaker 2: they intend to use them. And I'm not saying that's
- 12:59Speaker 2: what happened here. I'm saying maybe this was a clandestine thing.
- 13:02Speaker 2: There is a very strong Cuban American organization and presence
- 13:07Speaker 2: down in southern Florida. Maybe maybe they came up with
- 13:11Speaker 2: something that they wanted to do on their own. You know,
- 13:13Speaker 2: we're all anticipating that eventually the government in Cuba is
- 13:17Speaker 2: going to fall. They're largely blockaded right now, and as
- 13:22Speaker 2: that heat gets turned up, we're wondering, well, will the
- 13:26Speaker 2: Cubans take their own liberation into their own hands. We
- 13:30Speaker 2: won't know for a while, but as that falls, can't
- 13:34Speaker 2: you see or imagine that the Cuban American contingent down
- 13:39Speaker 2: in South Florida that would really love to see a
- 13:43Speaker 2: free Cuba and see it flourish, that they would they
- 13:47Speaker 2: would take up matters like these to get influence operations
- 13:51Speaker 2: going in ahead of any new government in general.
- 13:55Speaker 5: A couple of years ago, there was this big scandal
- 13:59Speaker 5: that came out that the United States Federal Law Enforcement
- 14:05Speaker 5: I think it was the FBI in particular, was purchasing
- 14:09Speaker 5: consumer data from a very large tech company. And it
- 14:14Speaker 5: was scandalous because this was information the government should not have,
- 14:19Speaker 5: but they were able to buy from a private company
- 14:22Speaker 5: that could supply it. The company was Twitter, and the
- 14:25Speaker 5: government was under Joe Biden, and they were buying Geodata,
- 14:30Speaker 5: and they're tracking data on where people were by way
- 14:34Speaker 5: of their cell phones. And in effect, the argument was
- 14:37Speaker 5: made that this is the federal government, without a warrant,
- 14:40Speaker 5: without any legal right, surveilling the American people. And their
- 14:48Speaker 5: argument was no, no, we were just buying marketing data,
- 14:50Speaker 5: just like any other company can do. And it was problematic.
- 14:55Speaker 5: And I bring all of that up to say, sometimes
- 14:58Speaker 5: the government does things this way. I'm not saying this
- 15:01Speaker 5: government is doing that. But it's also possible that the
- 15:06Speaker 5: government hired these mercenary private security company to do X,
- 15:11Speaker 5: Y and Z.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Right. No, you've got it exactly right. It's possible, and
- 15:16Speaker 2: it's a slippery slope because if you have you know,
- 15:19Speaker 2: we've had intelligence agencies just basically rape the piggybank in
- 15:25Speaker 2: clandestine operations, but they didn't commit to them. They basically
- 15:29Speaker 2: funneled all the money into NGOs who went and did
- 15:32Speaker 2: their bidding, and then it's off book, off budget. You
- 15:35Speaker 2: can't see what it is and can't be asked questions
- 15:38Speaker 2: about it in Congress either. So, but getting back to
- 15:41Speaker 2: the central point that you are making, Yeah, I think
- 15:44Speaker 2: we're on this path to a very very bad place
- 15:47Speaker 2: if we don't hit the emergency brake and really start
- 15:50Speaker 2: to review the different indirect ways that the government can
- 15:55Speaker 2: usurp our rights and freedoms. If you find a third
- 15:59Speaker 2: party to go ahead and take separat us from our freedoms,
- 16:03Speaker 2: Like I don't want to be surveiled today, well we're
- 16:05Speaker 2: going to do that through a company called flock. They're
- 16:07Speaker 2: the ones doing the surveiling. Or like the Twitter thing,
- 16:10Speaker 2: we're going to curtail your First Amendment rights. It's not
- 16:13Speaker 2: us doing it, it's the Twitter guys. But in effect,
- 16:16Speaker 2: in effect, it's just a game, and it's just semantics,
- 16:19Speaker 2: and it's lawyer lawfare. They're usurping the constitution. Not only
- 16:24Speaker 2: should we hold that up to the light, but the
- 16:28Speaker 2: folks that engage in this type of behavior need to
- 16:30Speaker 2: be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The
- 16:34Speaker 2: Constitution needs to be a vengeful document that that offending
- 16:38Speaker 2: the Constitution should cause the Constitution itself to be a vengeful.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Document from the Commander in Chief's desk.
- 16:45Speaker 5: Yeah, listen, I'm with you on that one. I don't
- 16:48Speaker 5: know that I believe it'll happen. Most of the time.
- 16:50Speaker 5: Oftentimes I hate being right, but I say that's not
- 16:54Speaker 5: going to happen, and then I'm right. You know, It's
- 16:56Speaker 5: like James call me right, I said, Ah, if he
- 16:58Speaker 5: gets locked up, I don't think anything will happen. He
- 17:00Speaker 5: got locked up, nothing happened. Right. This isn't me rooting
- 17:03Speaker 5: for the bad guys. This is me just you know,
- 17:06Speaker 5: while you're out there fighting wars and flying four or
- 17:08Speaker 5: five thousand hours as an Air Force pilot in general,
- 17:12Speaker 5: I've been observing politics from from the sidelines and sometimes
- 17:15Speaker 5: from the inside, and I've seen how this stuff gets
- 17:18Speaker 5: so swampy, and right and wrong really don't exist. Oftentimes
- 17:22Speaker 5: it's who's got power that's usually what exists. And it's
- 17:25Speaker 5: a sad thing. But one thing I could say is
- 17:28Speaker 5: I've seen that trend change and the pendulum is swinging
- 17:31Speaker 5: back towards we the people with the election of Donald Trump,
- 17:35Speaker 5: thank God for that. Has it gone enough? I don't know,
- 17:39Speaker 5: all right, I wanted to. I wanted to piggyback on
- 17:44Speaker 5: something you said on a different topic, because I was
- 17:47Speaker 5: talking with a journalist a couple of days ago, you know,
- 17:50Speaker 5: left of center journalists that covers the border and cartels,
- 17:54Speaker 5: and the one area we agreed was the CIA and
- 17:57Speaker 5: how he was saying the CIA has got in the
- 18:00Speaker 5: way of the quote unquote war on drugs since he's
- 18:03Speaker 5: been down at the border, and he's been down there
- 18:04Speaker 5: for thirty years, and I agreed with him. I figured,
- 18:08Speaker 5: you know, I remember President Obama, right, that's the president
- 18:11Speaker 5: of the United States sending guns to the cartels, and
- 18:14Speaker 5: that's it. No, we didn't do it, Harrik Holder said, right,
- 18:17Speaker 5: fast and furious, But that happened, right, and so then
- 18:20Speaker 5: we wonder when these cartels are killing one another, and
- 18:23Speaker 5: we didn't just do it there. I mean we did
- 18:25Speaker 5: it with bin Ladin. It's been a thing, right the
- 18:27Speaker 5: enemy of my enemy is my friend, and we've used
- 18:29Speaker 5: these Macavelian concepts throughout history and sometimes they bite us
- 18:34Speaker 5: in the butt. But with respect to this, we were
- 18:38Speaker 5: talking about how there's been some sightings of military or
- 18:44Speaker 5: at least militia with Ukrainian emblems in Mexico, and the
- 18:51Speaker 5: explanation was that these guys are hired guns, and they
- 18:55Speaker 5: were working in Ukraine on behalf of the Ukrainians and
- 18:59Speaker 5: now they're working on behalf of the cartels, and that
- 19:02Speaker 5: they are these same guys that we're talking about, right,
- 19:05Speaker 5: like Wagner group and others. There's a lot of these
- 19:07Speaker 5: groups out there, So tell me what you know about that,
- 19:10Speaker 5: just I know that you have experience in that area.
- 19:13Speaker 5: With respect to Mexico, how much of these cartel militia
- 19:18Speaker 5: are just hired guns and how many of them do
- 19:21Speaker 5: you think are exclusive to the cartel like their own
- 19:23Speaker 5: private army.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Well, I think, unfortunately a great deal of them are
- 19:27Speaker 2: exclusive to the cartels. So this gets to where I
- 19:31Speaker 2: think the mainstream media really has to start to depart
- 19:35Speaker 2: from the way that they cover wars around the world.
- 19:38Speaker 2: And what I mean by that is, right now, today's news,
- 19:40Speaker 2: we're talking about Iran. When are we going to start
- 19:42Speaker 2: dropping bombs? And then that's that story, and it's not
- 19:45Speaker 2: like any other story, and we don't relate it to
- 19:47Speaker 2: any other story. Those days are over. Iran is linked
- 19:52Speaker 2: to the cartels, the cars are linked in Mexico. But
- 19:57Speaker 2: you've got the Russia Ukraine war. Wait a minute, all
- 19:59Speaker 2: that money, all those weapons flowing in there. A lot
- 20:02Speaker 2: of the black market weapons got into the hands of
- 20:04Speaker 2: the cartels too. We know that stingers got into the
- 20:07Speaker 2: hand and javelins got into the hands of the cineloas.
- 20:10Speaker 2: So now wait a minute, it gets worse. The IRGC,
- 20:13Speaker 2: the Iranians have terror camps where they train militarily the cartels.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Then the cartels want to go get combat experience. Where
- 20:21Speaker 2: are they going to go get that? Well, there's a
- 20:23Speaker 2: hop and war over there in Europe. So they go
- 20:24Speaker 2: on over to Europe. They get themselves on the front,
- 20:27Speaker 2: some of them get killed, but they come back with
- 20:31Speaker 2: combat experience. Training from Iran. The black marketing weapons, money
- 20:35Speaker 2: laundering all over the place. And so that you've heard
- 20:38Speaker 2: me say it before. That's why the president's war on
- 20:40Speaker 2: the cartels is the number one thing we're doing. But
- 20:44Speaker 2: then when people get this bloodlust, like Lindsey Graham, they
- 20:47Speaker 2: want to see bombs dropping on Iran right away, It's like,
- 20:49Speaker 2: not so fast. We've got four years of open borders here.
- 20:53Speaker 2: So we've got cartels and Iranian terror cells right here
- 20:56Speaker 2: at the ready on Main Street, ready to go. Have
- 20:59Speaker 2: you figured that part of this out yet, because you
- 21:02Speaker 2: may find very quickly that your foreign war becomes a
- 21:04Speaker 2: domestic one here at home, because all these puzzle piece
- 21:07Speaker 2: is rich interlock.
- 21:09Speaker 5: You know. That was the point that we came up
- 21:12Speaker 5: with with the journalist that was down there, that the
- 21:16Speaker 5: money that Iran funnels to has Bella, they also funnel
- 21:19Speaker 5: to the cartels, and that these cartels, in fact have
- 21:22Speaker 5: either they are one and the same or they're operating
- 21:25Speaker 5: as one and the same. These Iranian sleeper cells are
- 21:29Speaker 5: the cartels, or at least are being brought into the
- 21:31Speaker 5: country by the cartels. So yeah, how are we going
- 21:34Speaker 5: to go drop a bahma on Iran or take out
- 21:37Speaker 5: the Ayatola or whatever the move is in Iran before
- 21:40Speaker 5: we shore things up at home. I think that makes
- 21:42Speaker 5: all the sense in the world, but it's an interesting
- 21:44Speaker 5: geopolitical puzzle piece that I think a lot of people
- 21:47Speaker 5: were missing, and in particular, as you mentioned, the mainstream media.
- 21:52Speaker 5: All right, so that puts a pin in that conversation.
- 21:55Speaker 5: I want to pause right here, and we're going to
- 21:57Speaker 5: come right back. We're going to continue with Brigadier General Blaine.
- 22:00Speaker 5: He's retired from the United States Air Force, and the
- 22:02Speaker 5: Air Force making some headlines yesterday also breaking news, why well,
- 22:06Speaker 5: because they found an Air Force pilot that was training
- 22:11Speaker 5: the Chinese. Now we're going to talk about how the
- 22:13Speaker 5: Chinese fit into this more in our geopolitical conversation with
- 22:16Speaker 5: General Blaine Holt. Straight ahead, I'm Rich Faldez.
- 22:19Speaker 1: This is America. This is America.
- 22:36Speaker 5: President Tim.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Take your up, mister President.
- 22:38Speaker 5: Welcome to the program.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Sir well, thank you, Rich, and thank you for everything.
- 22:42Speaker 3: I know you very well and I have I listened,
- 22:44Speaker 3: but I have a lot of people that listen and
- 22:47Speaker 3: they love your show and I appreciate it very much.
- 22:50Speaker 11: And a former US Air Force pilot has been arrested
- 22:53Speaker 11: for allegedly providing defense services to the Chinese military.
- 22:58Speaker 12: Federal officials say sixty five year old Gerar Gerald Eddie
- 23:02Speaker 12: Brown Junior. He was taken into custody in Indiana. The
- 23:05Speaker 12: former F thirty five instructor pilot was charged with violating
- 23:08Speaker 12: the Arms Export Control Act.
- 23:11Speaker 11: Prosecutors alleged Brown conspired to train pilots with China's People's
- 23:15Speaker 11: Liberation Army without this required State Department license. According to
- 23:21Speaker 11: the complaint, Brown traveled to China in late twenty twenty three.
- 23:25Speaker 11: He allegedly provided combat aircraft instruction there after coordinating the
- 23:30Speaker 11: foreign nationals.
- 23:31Speaker 12: One of those individuals was a previously convicted Chinese hacker
- 23:35Speaker 12: tied to military espionage now the Justice Department, said the FBI,
- 23:40Speaker 12: saying that the case underscores growing efforts by Beijing to
- 23:44Speaker 12: exploit former US military expertise. They vowed to hold anyone
- 23:48Speaker 12: who assists America's adversaries accountable.
- 23:51Speaker 5: All right, America, welcome back, Rich Valdesk, keeping the company tonight.
- 23:54Speaker 5: I'm here with Brigadier General Blainholt joining us on the
- 23:57Speaker 5: phone from an undisclosed location somewhere where the water is
- 24:01Speaker 5: very pretty. That's all I can say. And in general,
- 24:04Speaker 5: we're having a conversation about a lot of things geopolitically
- 24:08Speaker 5: and headlines are coming in. We just saw a little
- 24:10Speaker 5: update on that Air Force pilot retired from the United
- 24:14Speaker 5: States Air Force working with the Chinese to train the Chinese.
- 24:18Speaker 5: Sounds like somebody sleeping with the enemy. What's going on here?
- 24:23Speaker 2: It's just awful news. And as an airman, it breaks
- 24:25Speaker 2: my heart to have our good name and our reputation
- 24:29Speaker 2: besmirched by someone who would not only disgrace us and
- 24:33Speaker 2: our reputation, but do so in a treacherous way with
- 24:37Speaker 2: arguably our number one adversary on the globe. Is this
- 24:42Speaker 2: officer wasn't a very accomplished officer in his career. How
- 24:46Speaker 2: do I know that? Well, he went twenty four years,
- 24:48Speaker 2: got to retirement day, and he was a major. Should
- 24:51Speaker 2: have been at least a lieutenant colonel by that point
- 24:53Speaker 2: in time, So that's an indicator. Then he goes into
- 24:57Speaker 2: flying heavies and cargo ships. Doesn't work out for him.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Then he spends his later days he apparently he's sixty five,
- 25:05Speaker 2: flying as a contract simulator instructor in the F thirty five.
- 25:09Speaker 2: And then with all that knowledge, he decides, well, what
- 25:11Speaker 2: I'm probably pretty valuable in China. I bet I could
- 25:14Speaker 2: make a lot of money there, and he goes to
- 25:15Speaker 2: China in twenty twenty three and he stays and we
- 25:20Speaker 2: we bet this is the thing. We have to start
- 25:23Speaker 2: holding people accountable for this crap in the country. And so, yes,
- 25:27Speaker 2: today's day was a bad day for our air force.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Just walk around the swamp in DC and think about
- 25:33Speaker 2: all of those elected officials, all the staffers, all of
- 25:36Speaker 2: the cubicle dwellers who in some fashion or form are
- 25:39Speaker 2: either compromised, extorted, blackmailed, and we don't put a paw
- 25:43Speaker 2: on them. You know, Swallwell with his girlfriend Fang Fang,
- 25:46Speaker 2: and he still gets to sit on the Intel Committee.
- 25:49Speaker 2: And so this is the thing. If the swamp is
- 25:52Speaker 2: going to just become this unaccountable place where there's two
- 25:55Speaker 2: sets of rules to sets of justice systems, then you
- 26:00Speaker 2: could easily see failed pilots or failed military professionals say well,
- 26:05Speaker 2: I mean listen, if the top tier is going to
- 26:07Speaker 2: do it, why wouldn't I go make a bug? And
- 26:09Speaker 2: it's sad because he should have thought about his creator,
- 26:11Speaker 2: and he should have thought about his constitution in his
- 26:13Speaker 2: country before he did any of those things.
- 26:16Speaker 5: You mentioned the creator, you mentioned the constitution, you mentioned
- 26:19Speaker 5: the career and a word with a T trader this
- 26:23Speaker 5: is treason, and legitimately, I would say this is probably
- 26:26Speaker 5: the realest sense of the word treason. I know that
- 26:29Speaker 5: we throw it around a lot because it feels treasonous
- 26:32Speaker 5: a lot of the things that we see, but from
- 26:34Speaker 5: the United States Code Statue, right, a country that we're
- 26:38Speaker 5: actively engaged in some sort of hostility with, and that's
- 26:42Speaker 5: China for sure, right, I say, they're our biggest enemy.
- 26:45Speaker 5: So I'm with you one hundred percent on this stuff.
- 26:49Speaker 5: I say, you know, hang them high. But how do
- 26:52Speaker 5: we fix that? How do we go about it? I
- 26:54Speaker 5: remember a couple of years ago they caught a few
- 26:56Speaker 5: people in the Pentagon, some chief of staff there that
- 26:59Speaker 5: during the Biden days that was compromised by the Iranians,
- 27:02Speaker 5: and they disappeared. That was it. It was like, oh wow, great,
- 27:07Speaker 5: how do we stop that? Because I think you're right,
- 27:11Speaker 5: you know, and you said, walk around Foggy Bottom, walk
- 27:13Speaker 5: around wherever in DC. You're going to find a lot
- 27:16Speaker 5: of places that where the enemy wants to find people
- 27:19Speaker 5: that they can compromise. And I'm sure in many instances
- 27:21Speaker 5: or some instances, they have. What's the counter to that?
- 27:26Speaker 2: The counter is so at the micro scale with some
- 27:30Speaker 2: clown like this one we're talking about, who's done a
- 27:32Speaker 2: lot of damage to us. By the way, the counter
- 27:35Speaker 2: to him is make an example out of him. He
- 27:38Speaker 2: needs to be at the highest sentencing that can be
- 27:42Speaker 2: levied against what could be proven in a court. Yes,
- 27:44Speaker 2: have your due process, but then justice should be swift
- 27:48Speaker 2: and it should be meaningful. The second part, the bigger issue,
- 27:52Speaker 2: is the president at some point is going to have
- 27:55Speaker 2: to review both sides of the so called aisle that
- 27:58Speaker 2: doesn't exist in my book, I think they are just
- 28:00Speaker 2: one big mess. And then what needs to happen is
- 28:05Speaker 2: the president needs to take a serious evaluation about whether
- 28:08Speaker 2: our government is incapacitated or not. Do we even have
- 28:13Speaker 2: the ability to prosecute treason in our government? Or is everybody,
- 28:17Speaker 2: in some facet or form in some form of compromise
- 28:21Speaker 2: and the breadcrumbs are there to go look for the
- 28:24Speaker 2: compromise when you see someone pulling for drug dealers that
- 28:28Speaker 2: have sunk to the bottom of the ocean from an
- 28:30Speaker 2: American missile and you're pulling for them, when you decry
- 28:35Speaker 2: terrible things about this ice operation to try to save
- 28:40Speaker 2: the next lake and Riley incident from happening. You probably
- 28:44Speaker 2: can make a reasonable assessment that they're getting their influence
- 28:46Speaker 2: from somewhere other than the United States and their constituency.
- 28:51Speaker 5: So we need to deal with that. I agree, I
- 28:54Speaker 5: just don't know what the remedy to that is. It
- 28:56Speaker 5: seems like we have a lot of lobbyists for the cartels,
- 28:59Speaker 5: we have lobbyists for straight up criminals, we have lobbyists
- 29:02Speaker 5: for mogadishue. It seems like everybody's lobbying for everybody else
- 29:06Speaker 5: and everything else except for what's good, what's holy, and
- 29:09Speaker 5: what's American right.
- 29:11Speaker 2: So, in my view, if you can make an assessment
- 29:14Speaker 2: about how much of the government, DC, the cubicle dwellers,
- 29:18Speaker 2: the defense industrial base, that think tanks, how much of
- 29:21Speaker 2: that is ethically unsound and at its worst treasonous through
- 29:28Speaker 2: compromist blackmail, whatever, you have to make an assessment about
- 29:33Speaker 2: do we have a standing, functional government, Do we have
- 29:35Speaker 2: a duly elected government under the constitution? And if we don't,
- 29:40Speaker 2: then I think the president should strongly consider, as tough
- 29:43Speaker 2: as the medicine is, strongly consider declaring that the government
- 29:48Speaker 2: is incapacitated under the constitution and bring in the military
- 29:52Speaker 2: to hold down the fort while all this stuff gets adjudicated.
- 29:54Speaker 2: But we're going to that place. It may sound really
- 29:57Speaker 2: incredible and incredible right now to even talk this way,
- 30:01Speaker 2: but the more Epstein stuff that drops, the more things
- 30:04Speaker 2: you can read about people who did terrible things to
- 30:07Speaker 2: their country, kids and trafficking and laundering and all of
- 30:10Speaker 2: this stuff on both sides of the aisle, the more
- 30:13Speaker 2: you have to ask these very serious questions, and they
- 30:15Speaker 2: are serious questions.
- 30:18Speaker 5: Sounds like a page out of the Q and on
- 30:21Speaker 5: playbook general this crazy stuff, it really is. It's wild
- 30:25Speaker 5: to see what's going on now moving forward with this guy.
- 30:31Speaker 5: What's the remedy here? Do we get him from China?
- 30:34Speaker 5: We got him, what happens to him now? What does
- 30:37Speaker 5: the consequence look like?
- 30:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know what his physical disposition is right now,
- 30:42Speaker 2: whether he's in China or in US hands. Maybe he's
- 30:46Speaker 2: in our embassy, not really quite sure. I guess we're
- 30:48Speaker 2: going to find that out in the coming days. But
- 30:51Speaker 2: then what will happen is we will bring him back
- 30:53Speaker 2: and we will probably try him in a military court.
- 30:57Speaker 2: But I will tell you I'm the weakest person to
- 30:59Speaker 2: tell how they're gonna legally maneuver that to get him
- 31:03Speaker 2: back on duty active duty because he was such a
- 31:05Speaker 2: low ranking officer. So well, but but he will face
- 31:09Speaker 2: justice and it should be for treason. And what you're
- 31:12Speaker 2: gonna hear on the TV is all these talking heads going, oh,
- 31:15Speaker 2: I don't think they can prove treason, even though in
- 31:18Speaker 2: the light of day here they are training. They already
- 31:21Speaker 2: stole our F thirty five plans, good thing that there
- 31:24Speaker 2: is a real maintenance mess. And so here he is
- 31:28Speaker 2: trying to create J thirty five pilots as good as
- 31:31Speaker 2: F thirty five pilots. That that's that's not a that's
- 31:35Speaker 2: not a harmless thing. And as a major, he was
- 31:37Speaker 2: taught better than that, and he did know better.
- 31:39Speaker 5: They were able to prove seditious conspiracy for people involved
- 31:42Speaker 5: in January sixth.
- 31:44Speaker 7: They did.
- 31:45Speaker 5: I'm hoping that they could get some at a minimum
- 31:48Speaker 5: seditious conspiracy in a criminal court. Okay, so watch this,
- 31:52Speaker 5: so watch this.
- 31:52Speaker 2: So so when this thing starts to evolve and develop,
- 31:56Speaker 2: if we start seeing them take a velvet hammer to
- 31:58Speaker 2: this guy, you can bet your bippy that the Chinese
- 32:02Speaker 2: government called in a lot of political favors that they
- 32:05Speaker 2: are owed in DC you can bet that that's the case.
- 32:08Speaker 5: What about if if they say, all right, we're gonna
- 32:11Speaker 5: take it easy on this guy him seven years for
- 32:13Speaker 5: whatever being a bad guy, and you're like, what seven years?
- 32:16Speaker 5: This guy's Benedic Darnold, And it's not that he's being
- 32:22Speaker 5: protected by his spy handlers in Beijing, but that he
- 32:26Speaker 5: has given up his spy handlers and now we have
- 32:28Speaker 5: a handle on how they're infiltrating. Is that a possibility.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Oh, that's a possibility. I'll give you that, that's an
- 32:34Speaker 2: absolute possibility.
- 32:35Speaker 5: I'm optimistic. I'm just I'm always looking for the way.
- 32:38Speaker 2: I do love your optimism. Just from the pictures that
- 32:42Speaker 2: I've seen of him, I'm not sure he's that clever,
- 32:45Speaker 2: and I'm not sure the Chinese have really armed him
- 32:47Speaker 2: with anything of use for us, But yes, if he
- 32:51Speaker 2: has some compelling information or he brought us back the
- 32:55Speaker 2: gonculator that the Chinese uses as a secret weapon in everything,
- 33:00Speaker 2: maybe it's okay. I don't know, but I but I
- 33:03Speaker 2: I'm gonna I'm gonna tell you that I think he's
- 33:05Speaker 2: in a whole lot of trouble.
- 33:07Speaker 5: Yeah, General Holt, I always appreciate your time Politically speaking,
- 33:11Speaker 5: and I don't bring you on to get your political
- 33:13Speaker 5: take because I have too much respect for you. And
- 33:16Speaker 5: generals are so good, they really are good at staying
- 33:18Speaker 5: above the fray in politics. But the President gave what
- 33:22Speaker 5: I considered to be a unifying state of the Union,
- 33:26Speaker 5: where he used the the platform to allow the Democrats,
- 33:34Speaker 5: certain Democrats to put themselves out there as as the
- 33:39Speaker 5: enemies of American values, so to speak, by not standing
- 33:44Speaker 5: up for things that were normal, right, they weren't political,
- 33:48Speaker 5: so to speak. Do you think this resonates in your
- 33:53Speaker 5: in your world, you know, with your retired military brass
- 33:57Speaker 5: type of people. What's it looking like? What have you
- 34:00Speaker 5: been hearing?
- 34:01Speaker 2: Yeah? So I think it's good hard cold medicine to
- 34:07Speaker 2: some of those military folks who are still longing for
- 34:10Speaker 2: the old DEI woke days. I think it's a nice
- 34:13Speaker 2: slap in the face to go and look at the
- 34:16Speaker 2: people that you've aligned yourselves with. They won't even stand
- 34:20Speaker 2: for a CW five, one of the most rarest of
- 34:23Speaker 2: ranks you could obtain in the army, and they won't
- 34:25Speaker 2: even stand for him because he can barely stand for
- 34:27Speaker 2: himself after he got shot up going down to Maduro
- 34:30Speaker 2: mission and he is there to receive the Medal of Honor.
- 34:33Speaker 2: And I just the President has a great way of saying, well,
- 34:37Speaker 2: here we are, let's look at who's who. And if
- 34:40Speaker 2: you won't stand for this, gentleman, if you won't stand
- 34:43Speaker 2: for Lake and Riley, you won't stand for the angel parents,
- 34:46Speaker 2: you're certainly not standing with America. And we can see you.
- 34:49Speaker 2: And I hope that there's a lot of these previous
- 34:51Speaker 2: Wokesters who were drinking that kool aid during the Biden administration.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Whether they're in uniform or in a suit, doesn't matter,
- 34:58Speaker 2: that are going to art seriously considering what side of
- 35:03Speaker 2: this am I on? Am I just nothing more than
- 35:06Speaker 2: a glorified Bolshevik, because that's exactly what they are.
- 35:10Speaker 5: Sir Edmund Burke often used the quote used by others,
- 35:13Speaker 5: if you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything, and
- 35:17Speaker 5: this is a clear example of that. In my opinion, general,
- 35:20Speaker 5: I want you to let everybody know how they can
- 35:22Speaker 5: find you, where they can get your commentaries, your podcast,
- 35:26Speaker 5: your blog, all of it.
- 35:30Speaker 2: So please come to Dangerous Intellectuals dot com podcast. We
- 35:35Speaker 2: had a great one on Monday. It was with doctor
- 35:37Speaker 2: Emily Brailey. She is the wisest on all things corruption
- 35:42Speaker 2: and international aid, and she's such an optimistic person. And
- 35:45Speaker 2: then I've just wrote an article for Newsmas on why
- 35:48Speaker 2: logistics and our fragile logistics systems in the United States
- 35:52Speaker 2: could bring us to a very bad place and we
- 35:54Speaker 2: need to look at that. And that's at newsmax dot
- 35:56Speaker 2: com and you can always see me there and I
- 35:58Speaker 2: always enjoy my chance to get to talk to you.
- 36:00Speaker 5: I appreciate it, brother, more than you know. Check him
- 36:03Speaker 5: out on the Newsmax Insiders page. He always has an
- 36:06Speaker 5: amazing column there. Check out Dangerous Intellectuals. Give them the
- 36:09Speaker 5: handle so they could follow you on that.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Yep. If you come to Twitter, you can get me
- 36:14Speaker 2: at danger Thinking or you can just come to the
- 36:16Speaker 2: website Dangerous Intellectuals dot com and pick your favorite platform
- 36:20Speaker 2: and then give me some comments. Let me know how
- 36:23Speaker 2: we're doing. But what we've been having some great.
- 36:26Speaker 5: Discussions outstanding general. You always bring on really good guests
- 36:29Speaker 5: that are very thought provoking. It's very very stimulating stuff
- 36:32Speaker 5: deep dive, a lot of meat there to chew. So
- 36:35Speaker 5: I appreciate your podcast and thanks for being on this one.
- 36:38Speaker 5: I mean to go someone right back. I'm Rich Valdez.
- 36:40Speaker 5: He's General Blaine Holt.
- 36:42Speaker 1: This is America, this is America. He's making podcasting great again.
- 37:08Speaker 1: This is America with Rich Valdez.
- 37:12Speaker 13: I never met Jeffrey Epstein, never had any connection or
- 37:18Speaker 13: communication with him. I knew Gallainne Maxwell casually as an acquaintance.
- 37:25Speaker 13: But whatever they asked me, I did my very best
- 37:28Speaker 13: to respond.
- 37:30Speaker 5: What's up, America. Welcome back Rich Valdez. And check this out.
- 37:34Speaker 5: Some breaking news. We got some footage of Hillary Clinton.
- 37:37Speaker 5: Hillary Clinton speaking outside of her deposition, which was cut short.
- 37:41Speaker 5: Why because congressom and Lauren Bobert shout out to Congressman
- 37:44Speaker 5: Lauren Bobert snapping the pick and messing up Hillary's whole
- 37:48Speaker 5: mental game. As soon as she heard of the picture
- 37:51Speaker 5: had gone viral of her inside the deposition, and you're
- 37:53Speaker 5: gonna take a look at that on screen. In a moment,
- 37:56Speaker 5: she lost it. She absolutely says, no, thank you, I
- 38:00Speaker 5: don't want I want nothing to do with this. So
- 38:03Speaker 5: Hillary Clinton freaking out in her deposition. I love that
- 38:06Speaker 5: for her. Plus the the comments, of course that you
- 38:12Speaker 5: heard from Hillary Clinton. She says she knew nothing, She
- 38:15Speaker 5: knows nothing, but she did try to throw ed Trompito
- 38:18Speaker 5: under the bus right now, ed Trumpito. He's been very
- 38:23Speaker 5: clear on this a million times. He's exonerated by one
- 38:26Speaker 5: of the victims themselves, Virginia Jeffrey. But I want to
- 38:32Speaker 5: hear from Jen Kerns on this. Jen Kerns is the
- 38:35Speaker 5: author of the real war on women. We're gonna try
- 38:37Speaker 5: and have her on tomorrow, so let's try and make
- 38:39Speaker 5: that happen. Control Ken, We thank you, and let's focus
- 38:43Speaker 5: now on what's going on in La right, because just
- 38:48Speaker 5: like we had this deposition on Hillary Clinton, there was
- 38:52Speaker 5: this raid on the superintendent of schools, Superintendent Carvaljo. Right,
- 38:57Speaker 5: Carvalo sounds like a Portuguese name. And I brought this
- 39:01Speaker 5: up yesterday, but I didn't get into any of the
- 39:03Speaker 5: clips on it because I think this is a very
- 39:05Speaker 5: interesting thing. There's a number of cases that involve sexual
- 39:09Speaker 5: assault sexual abuse that are currently being litigated, a number
- 39:14Speaker 5: like several hundred, and he himself is in a little
- 39:18Speaker 5: bit of hot water. But listen to this report about
- 39:21Speaker 5: mister Convalo. I say it right, Convalue check this out.
- 39:27Speaker 14: Breaking today, federal agents raiding the Los Angeles Unified School
- 39:31Speaker 14: District headquarters and the home of Superintendent Elberto Carvallo, the
- 39:35Speaker 14: FBI confirming that it executed search warrants, but with holding
- 39:39Speaker 14: any further detail. The superintendent has recently made headlines for
- 39:42Speaker 14: fighting with federal officials over immigration enforcement efforts in his district.
- 39:48Speaker 5: Okay, John, thank you the contract right. That's a report
- 39:50Speaker 5: from the Fox News channel. As you can see, they
- 39:52Speaker 5: are going after his home. They're going after his home
- 39:55Speaker 5: in Florida, They're going after his his office name, They're
- 40:00Speaker 5: going after him. They all believe that this is because
- 40:02Speaker 5: of an AI company that sold the district and AI
- 40:07Speaker 5: package that this tool was supposed to help with absenteeism.
- 40:13Speaker 5: What it did, I don't know, but apparently it didn't
- 40:15Speaker 5: work and they lost a few million bucks. Now the
- 40:19Speaker 5: question becomes, what did he have to do it, what
- 40:21Speaker 5: did he know and when did he know it. I
- 40:25Speaker 5: think we're going to find out from mister Carvalue what
- 40:27Speaker 5: the story is on that when he tells us more.
- 40:31Speaker 5: But he did have this to say, listen to this.
- 40:34Speaker 4: And I want to confess to you for those of
- 40:36Speaker 4: you may not know, I would be a hypocrite if
- 40:39Speaker 4: I did not fight for those who today are facing
- 40:43Speaker 4: conditions that over forty years I faced as an un
- 40:47Speaker 4: documented MIGRANTO this company. I want to repeat that I
- 40:52Speaker 4: would be the biggest hypocrite in the world in regardless
- 40:56Speaker 4: of my position today, if today I did not fight
- 40:59Speaker 4: for those who find themselves in the same predicament I
- 41:04Speaker 4: faced over forty years ago when I arrived in this
- 41:08Speaker 4: country at the age of seventeen as an undocumented immigrant.
- 41:14Speaker 4: Education made me unsaved me. I became a teacher, a principal,
- 41:19Speaker 4: a superintendent, leading the nation's largest districts, four times selected
- 41:24Speaker 4: as national Superintendent the year. Do not underestimate the power
- 41:28Speaker 4: of the immigrant child, who may very well become an
- 41:31Speaker 4: adult who does well and good by America. If I
- 41:36Speaker 4: come across with a certain degree of contempt and anger,
- 41:39Speaker 4: I am. I am because Monday Monday actions were taken
- 41:46Speaker 4: in this community that have no place in our city,
- 41:51Speaker 4: in our state, or across America. I'm still mystified as
- 41:56Speaker 4: to how a first, second, third, fourth, or sixth grader
- 42:03Speaker 4: with pose any type of risk to the national security
- 42:08Speaker 4: of our nation that would require Homeland Security to deploy
- 42:13Speaker 4: its agents to two elementary schools.
- 42:18Speaker 5: All right, So Carvalio, now speaking out of course, you know,
- 42:22Speaker 5: says he did nothing wrong. I've done nothing bad. I
- 42:25Speaker 5: did not have sex with that woman. Huh no, that's slick. Willy,
- 42:29Speaker 5: forgive me, and now we've got this.
- 42:33Speaker 9: I'm here at the Los Angeles Unified School District headquarters
- 42:36Speaker 9: were earlier today, FBI Los Angeles raided the office and
- 42:41Speaker 9: home of LAUSD Superintendent Alberto Carvallo this morning. Aerial footage
- 42:46Speaker 9: showed federal agents carrying boxes out of Carvallo's San Pedro home.
- 42:52Speaker 9: I am told he also has a home in Florida
- 42:54Speaker 9: that was raided by the FEDS. Some reports indicate recent
- 42:58Speaker 9: settlements amounting in hundreds of millions of dollars in payouts
- 43:02Speaker 9: may be tied to this raid. As part of a
- 43:04Speaker 9: larger probe into misuses of Prop twenty eight funds, LAUSD
- 43:10Speaker 9: received approximately seventy seven million dollars annually for Prop twenty
- 43:14Speaker 9: eight funds to expand arts and music education. However, a
- 43:19Speaker 9: twenty twenty five lawsuit brought forward by former superintendent Austin Buner,
- 43:23Speaker 9: who recently dropped out of the LA Mayor's race, allegis
- 43:27Speaker 9: misallocation of funds set aside to hire new teachers and staff.
- 43:32Speaker 9: An investigation into twenty one billion dollars in EDD unemployment
- 43:37Speaker 9: insurance program funds leading back to COVID era fraud may
- 43:40Speaker 9: also be playing a role in the larger scheme of things.
- 43:44Speaker 9: This could lead to a wider question, as the weather
- 43:47Speaker 9: funds were used to cherry pick settlements for lawsuit payouts
- 43:51Speaker 9: and pay existing staff. In late November twenty twenty four,
- 43:56Speaker 9: LAUSD declared itself a sanctuary district refused to cooperate with
- 44:01Speaker 9: federal immigration enforcement.
- 44:03Speaker 7: Los Angeles City Council approved an ordinance that officially makes
- 44:07Speaker 7: LA a sanctuary city. Minutes later, the Los Angeles Unified
- 44:11Speaker 7: School District Board approved a resolution also declaring itself a
- 44:16Speaker 7: sanctuary district. The resolution prohibits employees from voluntarily complying with
- 44:21Speaker 7: immigration authorities, including sharing information about a student's immigration status.
- 44:26Speaker 9: Superintendent Carvallo made statements back then saying he would intervene
- 44:31Speaker 9: and interfere with any federal operation.
- 44:35Speaker 15: I have directed our own police force to redouble their
- 44:39Speaker 15: efforts and establish perimeters of safety around graduation sites to
- 44:45Speaker 15: intervene and interfere with any federal agency.
- 44:50Speaker 9: Affidavits of today's raids are sealed and LAUSD is not
- 44:55Speaker 9: commenting at this time.
- 44:57Speaker 5: It's the latest with that. Catherine Harriet, I drag Catherine Heridge.
- 45:00Speaker 5: She was with CBS News, she was with Fox, she
- 45:03Speaker 5: was a storied reporter. Catherine Herridge had an interview with
- 45:06Speaker 5: an attorney who says that there's three hundred and some
- 45:10Speaker 5: odd cases involving sexual abuse coming right out of California.
- 45:15Speaker 5: This is interesting because nearly all of them are teachers.
- 45:21Speaker 5: Listen to this.
- 45:22Speaker 13: What's the issue in the California public school system K
- 45:26Speaker 13: through twelve?
- 45:28Speaker 16: The main issue is is that there is an epidemic
- 45:31Speaker 16: of sexual abuse in the state, the by teachers, by coaches,
- 45:37Speaker 16: and by other school employees. It wasn't until twenty twelve
- 45:40Speaker 16: you could actually file a lawsuit, a civil lawsuit for
- 45:44Speaker 16: damages as a victim of sexual abuse in California. And
- 45:48Speaker 16: since then, our firm alone has filed dozens. Our firm
- 45:51Speaker 16: alone has discovered over three hundred and fifty or three
- 45:55Speaker 16: hundred and sixty perpetrators teachers.
- 45:57Speaker 13: Wait, three hundred and fifty, three hundred and sixty just
- 46:00Speaker 13: in California, correct, And.
- 46:02Speaker 16: We believe there's many, many more. We know there's many more,
- 46:05Speaker 16: because we certainly don't have all of the cases.
- 46:11Speaker 5: Well, well, well, would you look at that. Now, this
- 46:15Speaker 5: I find very very interesting, right interesting, because it's just wrong. Right,
- 46:21Speaker 5: what I think is wrong here is mister car value.
- 46:24Speaker 5: And again I don't want to make them guilty. I
- 46:26Speaker 5: just I think I always have a disdain for people
- 46:30Speaker 5: that work in public And I've worked for the government,
- 46:33Speaker 5: mind you, And that's why I have this disdain because
- 46:35Speaker 5: I think, man, I've worked in the private sector. I've
- 46:38Speaker 5: built businesses, my own companies, and that is so much
- 46:41Speaker 5: harder than getting a government job. Now does the government
- 46:44Speaker 5: job pay you better in the long run? Maybe for
- 46:47Speaker 5: some people. Some people really cash out quick. Aside, when
- 46:51Speaker 5: I worked in the state of New Jersey, very interesting stuff.
- 46:54Speaker 5: Check this out. In New Jersey, you can work for
- 46:58Speaker 5: your twenty years or whatever it is required for your pension.
- 47:01Speaker 5: I think you're vested after ten years. But you work
- 47:03Speaker 5: for your ten years and then guess guess what happens
- 47:06Speaker 5: ten years you work, and what happens is the following
- 47:11Speaker 5: you up until recently, until a few years ago, Christy
- 47:14Speaker 5: put an end to this, Governor Chris Christy. But at
- 47:16Speaker 5: the time you were able to do your time, do
- 47:21Speaker 5: your twenty years and say hey, you know what, By
- 47:23Speaker 5: the way, in the twenty years I've worked, I have
- 47:26Speaker 5: never ever taken a sick day. And because I haven't
- 47:30Speaker 5: taken a sick day, I want you to pay me
- 47:33Speaker 5: my pension, a secondary pension that we call a deferred compensation,
- 47:39Speaker 5: very similar to a four to ZHO three B and
- 47:45Speaker 5: a cash payout on unused sick days. Now, mind you,
- 47:50Speaker 5: most people don't aren't able to work for twenty years
- 47:54Speaker 5: and not take a sick day, But somehow, miraculously the
- 47:57Speaker 5: people in the best health ever must be all those
- 47:59Speaker 5: vaccines and the booster. Because the New Jersey people were
- 48:01Speaker 5: doing it left and right, everybody was able to take
- 48:06Speaker 5: a retirement and say, yeah, I've got two hundred and
- 48:09Speaker 5: twenty thousand dollars in six days. So imagine that pension
- 48:14Speaker 5: at sixty five or eighty percent or whatever the number
- 48:17Speaker 5: was of your pay and usually your friends help you
- 48:21Speaker 5: out along the way, so that whatever the highest grade
- 48:23Speaker 5: level or rank you can retire at, you retire at
- 48:26Speaker 5: that one pension deferred compensation to another retirement plan. It's
- 48:33Speaker 5: a secondary retirement plan like a four H three B.
- 48:37Speaker 5: Next cash payout on your sick days, which I'm gonna say,
- 48:43Speaker 5: I don't even believe all of that, Well, that was
- 48:46Speaker 5: a real thing that was going on in New Jersey
- 48:47Speaker 5: for every single person that retired from the government. And
- 48:50Speaker 5: guess what, The New Jersey Constitution is required to pay
- 48:54Speaker 5: out every last bit of what it owes in pension.
- 49:00Speaker 5: The constitution says that it has to pay the pensions.
- 49:02Speaker 5: There's a lot of other things on the books that
- 49:04Speaker 5: aren't constitutionally protected. Pensions are. So I say all that
- 49:10Speaker 5: to say, I met so many people that were really
- 49:12Speaker 5: looking out for their future, and God bless them for it.
- 49:15Speaker 5: I'm not begrudging them, per se. I'm begrudging a system,
- 49:19Speaker 5: a system that creates a dependency on government that is unrealistic.
- 49:26Speaker 5: In the private sector, it's unrealistic. There isn't another place
- 49:32Speaker 5: where you can retire like that, except for maybe being
- 49:34Speaker 5: an executive in a larger company. You know, like a
- 49:37Speaker 5: golden parachute type of deal, saying hey, when I leave here,
- 49:40Speaker 5: you know, wind loser draw, I'm taking this much, I
- 49:42Speaker 5: want this much to be able to leave. And not
- 49:44Speaker 5: everybody gets those deals. And it would be a different
- 49:49Speaker 5: story if people that worked in government were to say
- 49:51Speaker 5: things with humility and say, listen, I know that I
- 49:55Speaker 5: get paid way more than anybody would doing the same
- 49:58Speaker 5: thing in the private sector. I know that what we
- 50:01Speaker 5: have is not even competitive. It blows away anything available
- 50:05Speaker 5: in the private sector. I've told people this in the past.
- 50:07Speaker 5: I used to work in the state government and I
- 50:10Speaker 5: worked in the private sector prior to that. I went
- 50:13Speaker 5: from a job. This was many years ago, but I
- 50:15Speaker 5: was making eighty thousand dollars a year. It was two
- 50:19Speaker 5: thousand nine or ten or something like that, maybe eleven,
- 50:25Speaker 5: and I was paying eight eight hundred, almost nine thousand
- 50:29Speaker 5: dollars a year for my health insurance. That was my contribution.
- 50:34Speaker 5: The employer matched whatever they were matching. Right now, what's
- 50:39Speaker 5: fascinating about this to me is you've got me taking
- 50:46Speaker 5: a ten thousand dollars pay cut at the time to
- 50:48Speaker 5: take a job in the Christian administration. They paid me
- 50:51Speaker 5: seventy thousand dollars. I still made more money, how simple,
- 50:57Speaker 5: because I was able to pay one percent of my
- 51:01Speaker 5: salary or one point five So I paid seven hundred
- 51:03Speaker 5: and fifty dollars for a health benefit package that covered
- 51:09Speaker 5: me in the family. And listen to this. It's the
- 51:14Speaker 5: only time in my life that I was treated with
- 51:16Speaker 5: the utmost respect. The utmost respect. When I went to
- 51:21Speaker 5: visit my doctor, any doctor, any doctor I went to,
- 51:25Speaker 5: and I gave them my blue Cross blue Shield card
- 51:29Speaker 5: that said New Jersey State employee on it. No problem,
- 51:34Speaker 5: mister val does a doctor see you? I mean, you
- 51:36Speaker 5: talk about having a Cadillac health care plan. It was fantastic.
- 51:41Speaker 5: I mean, you would use it for anything you wanted,
- 51:44Speaker 5: anything you wanted. I know people that work in the union,
- 51:46Speaker 5: different unions. I'm not going to say which unions, but
- 51:48Speaker 5: some good unions in New York City. Theirs didn't compare
- 51:52Speaker 5: to mine. Nothing like the good old government. We got
- 51:55Speaker 5: the best gangsters ever government gangster. Shout out to Cash
- 51:59Speaker 5: Hotel for that one. And listen. If it were the
- 52:04Speaker 5: private sector, I'd say, hey, they built a better mouse trap.
- 52:07Speaker 5: They won in the in the marketplace of ideas, God
- 52:11Speaker 5: bless them. But no, they didn't develop anything. They didn't
- 52:15Speaker 5: create anything. There was no industriousness, there was no ingenuity.
- 52:19Speaker 5: It was just sheerly the fact that they take our
- 52:21Speaker 5: tax dollars. You make five hundred dollars or one thousand
- 52:24Speaker 5: dollars a week and you come home with three eighty
- 52:27Speaker 5: or seven hundred bucks because why because those guys are
- 52:31Speaker 5: getting great pensions and the Cadillac Plan and the deferred
- 52:35Speaker 5: compensation and the cash out on their sick days. How
- 52:39Speaker 5: is that fair to anybody? Right, it's totally unfair. It's
- 52:43Speaker 5: literally a wealth transfer. You work super hard and then
- 52:46Speaker 5: they get the benefit of that. Because it's an unreasonable benefit,
- 52:49Speaker 5: but it exists. So I noticed that in the government.
- 52:52Speaker 5: I realized there's no way I could work here forever.
- 52:54Speaker 5: People they'll beat me up around here. They hear how
- 52:56Speaker 5: I really feel about this stuff. End of the story is. Look,
- 53:00Speaker 5: it's like mister Carvalio is being investigated, to say the
- 53:03Speaker 5: least because of similar Right, we don't know what his
- 53:07Speaker 5: involvement with this company was. Apparently this company did the deal,
- 53:12Speaker 5: the contract was made. They sold at minimum three million dollars.
- 53:17Speaker 5: They say the loss could be as big as six
- 53:19Speaker 5: million dollars. But they want to know where the money
- 53:22Speaker 5: went because apparently the AI that they bought never worked.
- 53:27Speaker 5: Now I can tell you I sit on a school
- 53:29Speaker 5: board now for a public charter school in Jersey City,
- 53:31Speaker 5: New Jersey. Shout out to the beloved Community Charter School
- 53:34Speaker 5: home of the Owls, Go Owls. And I've been there
- 53:38Speaker 5: since inception. It's a great one of my greatest honors.
- 53:41Speaker 5: You know, I probably don't hold my weight around there,
- 53:43Speaker 5: but I am honored to have my name on a
- 53:46Speaker 5: plaque in that building, in the first building that we purchased,
- 53:51Speaker 5: and it's it's a beautiful thing. It's a beautiful thing
- 53:55Speaker 5: to be able to provide a quality educational system in
- 53:59Speaker 5: a economically impoverished area, but one that's on the come up, right,
- 54:03Speaker 5: because you've got some really rich people just outside of
- 54:05Speaker 5: that area in Jersey City. The point I'm making here
- 54:09Speaker 5: is I deal with contracts all the time, reading contracts,
- 54:13Speaker 5: taking a look at what's going on for certain deals.
- 54:15Speaker 5: Sometimes we are able to get property for a dollar
- 54:18Speaker 5: from the county as long as we promised to build
- 54:20Speaker 5: on it because we've had a great system. We have
- 54:23Speaker 5: an amazing consultant that guided the founder's group and was himself.
- 54:28Speaker 5: That is a brainchild of his. These construction projects were
- 54:32Speaker 5: done at a fraction of what it would have cost
- 54:34Speaker 5: if the state were to do it. So think about
- 54:36Speaker 5: that delivering better education at a lower price in the
- 54:41Speaker 5: most difficult parts of the city. And that was done
- 54:43Speaker 5: intentionally because there was a belief that if you're poor,
- 54:48Speaker 5: you can't learn right. Gavin Newsom recently said something like that.
- 54:52Speaker 5: Joe Biden said some stuff like that. Kathy Hochel said
- 54:54Speaker 5: some stuff like that. Everybody's had these comments, but we
- 54:57Speaker 5: didn't believe that. We believe that just because you were,
- 55:00Speaker 5: because your parents are poor, or whatever, the indicators were
- 55:03Speaker 5: for people not to learn as effectively. Those could be
- 55:07Speaker 5: mitigated by larger classroom sizes and more one to one,
- 55:12Speaker 5: perhaps a teaching assistant and a teacher in a class
- 55:15Speaker 5: of thirty or thirty five. Things that you don't typically
- 55:18Speaker 5: hear people's are overcrowded classes. We've had great results kids
- 55:22Speaker 5: going into the ivys. We're now in our fourteenth year,
- 55:25Speaker 5: I think right. So we've graduated our first class I
- 55:28Speaker 5: think two years ago. If I'm not mistaken, our first
- 55:31Speaker 5: kindergarten class that graduated in twelfth grade. It's a huge honor. Anyway,
- 55:35Speaker 5: I'm not trying to pat myself on the back or
- 55:37Speaker 5: break my arm doing it. I'm saying this to say,
- 55:39Speaker 5: mister Carvaljo, as the superintendent, he's got to sign. I'm
- 55:46Speaker 5: sure the same stuff I've got to sign that says
- 55:49Speaker 5: if I'm buying a thousand mugs for the students in
- 55:52Speaker 5: this school. You better believe I can't own that company,
- 55:56Speaker 5: because if I own this company, then I can't sell
- 55:58Speaker 5: you the mugs stand to make a profit, and that
- 56:01Speaker 5: would be a conflict of interest. I can't create a
- 56:03Speaker 5: shell company that bottles water and then say hey, I'm
- 56:07Speaker 5: going to sell you some bottled water and then oh, well,
- 56:11Speaker 5: I'm not on the board, but my wife is, and
- 56:14Speaker 5: you can't do that, right. This is like the stuff
- 56:18Speaker 5: they were doing in Congress. But this type of self
- 56:20Speaker 5: dealing is what happens all the time. It's ever present
- 56:26Speaker 5: in government. There are people that get into government specifically
- 56:29Speaker 5: to enrich themselves. So how do you fix this? Well, hey,
- 56:34Speaker 5: that's a condition of depravity of the heart. It's human nature,
- 56:38Speaker 5: it's the flesh. It's a spiritual battle, right. The Apostle
- 56:43Speaker 5: Paul said that the spirit lusteth against the flesh, and
- 56:46Speaker 5: the flesh lusteth against the spirit. Some translations say warreth right,
- 56:50Speaker 5: So the spirit is at war with the flesh, and
- 56:52Speaker 5: the flesh is at war with the spirit. These are allegories,
- 56:57Speaker 5: if you will, for human nature. Got it check. You
- 57:02Speaker 5: can't fix that by legislating it, right, But you can
- 57:05Speaker 5: try and get people to be people of integrity. You
- 57:09Speaker 5: can get people in the selection process, one would hope
- 57:13Speaker 5: that will do the right thing. And of course, more
- 57:15Speaker 5: than anything, you have to have the safeguards in place,
- 57:18Speaker 5: make sure that two or three people have to be
- 57:20Speaker 5: signatories and that they can't be related. You know, you
- 57:23Speaker 5: can't presume that everybody's going to make a deal for
- 57:25Speaker 5: kickback somewhere. Now. I'm not imposing guilt on mister Carvalio.
- 57:29Speaker 5: I'm just saying, all too often we see these types
- 57:33Speaker 5: of problems, and if there is some sort of mouthfeasons
- 57:37Speaker 5: where the FBI is raiding his house in Florida, his
- 57:39Speaker 5: house in California and his office, I'm to be cliche.
- 57:46Speaker 5: I'll say whether smoke there's fire. I don't want to
- 57:48Speaker 5: say that because we've seen what they do with Trump. Right.
- 57:51Speaker 5: You could say, man, this guy is a guy thirty
- 57:53Speaker 5: four felon accounts, he was found guilty by a judge
- 57:57Speaker 5: of sexual sexual abuse. All these things would be factually accurate.
- 58:02Speaker 5: Yet they're all wrong. They're a fake and their phony
- 58:05Speaker 5: and their fraud. And I would say that because I'm
- 58:06Speaker 5: a Trump sycophan. I say that because just factually they're not.
- 58:10Speaker 5: These were cases that were fabricated for the purpose of
- 58:13Speaker 5: discrediting him. Right. I don't see that happening with mister
- 58:17Speaker 5: Carr value, at least not yet. I don't see somebody saying, well,
- 58:21Speaker 5: I really wanted to be the superintendent and he was
- 58:23Speaker 5: in the way. So I told the FBI that he
- 58:25Speaker 5: did this and this and that, but it wasn't really
- 58:27Speaker 5: liked it. I haven't seen that, bottom line, That type
- 58:33Speaker 5: of thing exists, and it exists everywhere in government, and
- 58:36Speaker 5: I know I'm preaching to the choir here, so I'm
- 58:39Speaker 5: interested in seeing how this turns out. I'm interested in
- 58:42Speaker 5: seeing what the next step in this process is. But
- 58:45Speaker 5: it's a fool's errand for any of us to think
- 58:49Speaker 5: that we can live in a society where people don't
- 58:52Speaker 5: do what's wrong, where people don't break the rules, where
- 58:55Speaker 5: people don't cheat, where people don't steal sadly, lamentably. The
- 59:00Speaker 5: reality is people are always going to do the wrong thing,
- 59:02Speaker 5: and that's why it's up to us individually to do
- 59:05Speaker 5: the right thing, to seek what's right, to do what's
- 59:09Speaker 5: good for the greater good, for your community, your job,
- 59:13Speaker 5: the company you work for, whatever right. It can't always
- 59:17Speaker 5: there has to be a we involved, because when it's
- 59:20Speaker 5: all about the me, these are the problems that happen.
- 59:24Speaker 5: That's all I've got for you today. I mean, he
- 59:25Speaker 5: goes astell approxima. I always say you got to stand
- 59:30Speaker 5: for something, because if you stand for nothing, you'll fall
- 59:32Speaker 5: for anything. And the only thing necessary for evil to
- 59:36Speaker 5: triumph is for good people like you to sit there
- 59:39Speaker 5: and do nothing. So do the right thing. I'm rich Chaldees,
- 59:43Speaker 5: and this is America, this is a Maria
- 1:00:00Speaker 15: At
