- 0:02Speaker 1: Things that must go on the radio from hell show.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Things that must go. Things that are just bugging you.
- 0:11Speaker 2: You don't want them in your life anymore. Finally, you said,
- 0:14Speaker 2: I can't stands no more. And you, I know what
- 0:17Speaker 2: I'll do. I'll send my thing that must go to
- 0:18Speaker 2: radio from hell. If they read it on the air,
- 0:20Speaker 2: it'll make me feel better maybe. And sometimes we're told
- 0:22Speaker 2: that these things do magically disappear when they are processed
- 0:26Speaker 2: through the radio from hell show. So send your must-goes
- 0:30Speaker 2: to radiofromhell.com. At x96. com, put must go in the subject line.
- 0:35Speaker 2: I'll begin today. I have one of my own. It's
- 0:39Speaker 2: automatic flush toilets. Now, don't get me wrong. I think
- 0:44Speaker 2: that they are a great thing, really, because often people
- 0:49Speaker 2: in public restrooms, I've noticed they sometimes forget to flush
- 0:53Speaker 2: the toilet. And that's not good. But what I don't
- 0:57Speaker 2: like about the automatic flush toilet is the one, particularly
- 1:01Speaker 2: our restroom here, it's become ultra-sensitive. And when I sit down,
- 1:06Speaker 2: it flushes. This is not fun because it splashes water
- 1:11Speaker 2: on my sensitive parts. And I don't care for that.
- 1:15Speaker 2: So the maladjusted automatic flush toilet must go. This one says,
- 1:22Speaker 2: good morning, Lords of Radio. Road work barrels, cones, and
- 1:26Speaker 2: barricading far, far, far in advance before the road work
- 1:30Speaker 2: begins or not planned for the weekend. There's just no
- 1:34Speaker 2: need to slow the flow of traffic to find nothing's happening.
- 1:38Speaker 2: This one's a little odd. See if you can, I
- 1:40Speaker 2: figured it out finally. It's full-dressed motorcycle lane splitting. Full-dressed motorcycle,
- 1:45Speaker 2: so a big one. Lane splitting, where they go between
- 1:48Speaker 2: the cars.
- 1:48Speaker 3: I hate the lane splitting.
- 1:50Speaker 2: I'm always worried when that happens. They've made it legal
- 1:53Speaker 2: to do that. If one needs to negotiate through all
- 1:55Speaker 2: the rear-view mirrors, there isn't enough time to make it
- 1:58Speaker 2: to the front of the line. Let's just all stay
- 2:01Speaker 2: safe on the Salt Lake Annapolis Raceway. And last of all,
- 2:05Speaker 2: the price of gas coming out of peak summer. Gas
- 2:07Speaker 2: prices should come down. No, don't count on the Venezuelan
- 2:10Speaker 2: low crude oil dropping prices. I must go. It must go.
- 2:14Speaker 2: I'm working on lowering my blood pressure best. Tom of
- 2:17Speaker 2: Salt Lake. This one says, Hello, Lords. Feel free to
- 2:20Speaker 2: use my name. This is Kelly of Eagle Mountain. Here
- 2:22Speaker 2: are a few things that must go. Clouds during the
- 2:24Speaker 2: lunar eclipse. Clouds during anything cool happening in the sky
- 2:29Speaker 2: should go. YouTube ads that are longer than a minute,
- 2:32Speaker 2: especially when they are 30-minute podcasts for something I don't
- 2:36Speaker 2: care to listen to. And easy peel stickers. They're not
- 2:40Speaker 2: easy to peel, so stop calling them that. Thanks for
- 2:42Speaker 2: letting me listen. And finally this. Hello, feel free to
- 2:46Speaker 2: use my name. Things that must go. I broke my toe.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Not the big one, the second toe, which can't really
- 2:52Speaker 2: be treated besides buddy taping the toe and just sucking
- 2:55Speaker 2: it up, which is funny because the week I broke it, Dr.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Cobble was on and another listener asked about a broken
- 3:00Speaker 2: toe and he said as much. It is bad enough
- 3:03Speaker 2: breaking a toe, but in my case, it's my driving foot.
- 3:06Speaker 2: So my foot feels like it's on fire a few
- 3:09Speaker 2: hours into my day and there's only so much I
- 3:11Speaker 2: can do as long as icing it During work every day.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Not just that, but thanks to that... I can't say that.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I tripped and fell pretty hard at work because of
- 3:23Speaker 2: the broken toe. I tripped and fell pretty hard at
- 3:26Speaker 2: work and skinned the knee that's attached to the stupid foot.
- 3:29Speaker 2: So now I'm dealing with healing that on top of
- 3:32Speaker 2: having a broken toe. So far, I haven't cut the
- 3:35Speaker 2: toe off, but it's been tempting... And so very, very painful. Also,
- 3:38Speaker 2: I have a cat that has no sense of boundaries
- 3:41Speaker 2: and walks all over my broken toe. Not helping, Peanut. Peanut.
- 3:46Speaker 2: And speaking of cats, finding cat puke with my bare
- 3:50Speaker 2: foot must go.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Yuck. And my big girl cat that insists on walking
- 3:54Speaker 2: on me and laying on me during my morning alarms
- 3:58Speaker 2: and bringing... biting at me when I don't give her
- 4:01Speaker 2: enough pets. Madam, I am trying to sleep between alarms,
- 4:04Speaker 2: and I know y'all will eat me if I die
- 4:06Speaker 2: at home. Quit it, Scrap Lady Chelsea.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Hey, that's my driving tow.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Gina?
- 4:12Speaker 3: It says stick a piece of toilet paper over the
- 4:15Speaker 3: sensor before you sit down.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Oh, okay. Oh, all right.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Let's see. These are a few from Woodworker Willie. Mm-hmm.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Number one, chronic pain. I have had chronic pain in
- 4:25Speaker 1: my neck and shoulder for 30 years after surgery, spinal injections,
- 4:29Speaker 1: physical therapy, mountains of every pain med known to man.
- 4:32Speaker 1: It still won't go away. People who leave their car
- 4:36Speaker 1: or truck running while they run into the gas station,
- 4:38Speaker 1: making me feel like I'm walking through a cloud of
- 4:40Speaker 1: unnecessary pollution. My asthma hates you so much. You know
- 4:43Speaker 1: who you are, person with the Texas license plates. And finally,
- 4:47Speaker 1: drive through anything. I believe this has to be one
- 4:50Speaker 1: of our biggest sources of pollution we have. If you
- 4:52Speaker 1: need a McMeal every day, you can't park, turn off
- 4:55Speaker 1: your car, and walk in. You probably don't need it.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Thank you for letting me listen, Woodworker Willie. Let's see this.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Bi-weekly work meetings where I'm the only woman. Lots of
- 5:05Speaker 1: asking my opinions, not much listening. This is from Sid.
- 5:11Speaker 1: People who use Bluetooth speakers in public, I feel like
- 5:14Speaker 1: I'm being held hostage. This is especially egregious when this
- 5:18Speaker 1: occurs during a hike. I hope you get eaten by
- 5:20Speaker 1: a mountain lion.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Love, Sid. Let's see.
- 5:24Speaker 2: And finally this.
- 5:26Speaker 1: When an app updates and it has a new image
- 5:29Speaker 1: and now you can't find it because you don't know
- 5:32Speaker 1: what the image is.
- 5:34Speaker 3: I got it.
- 5:34Speaker 2: I've had that happen.
- 5:35Speaker 1: The one date that still has a pit in a
- 5:37Speaker 1: container of pitted dates. I almost broke my tooth on
- 5:40Speaker 1: that thing. And the a-hole wasps that are harassing hummingbirds
- 5:45Speaker 1: are just trying to get a drink at the hummingbird
- 5:47Speaker 1: feeder outside my office window. No one likes you.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Go away. Well, the wasps want some of that precious
- 5:52Speaker 3: sugar water, too. All right. This one from Cresha. My
- 5:59Speaker 3: list of things that must go. Water running down my
- 6:02Speaker 3: arms when I wash my face. dripping off my elbows,
- 6:07Speaker 3: making a mess all over the side of my bathroom sink.
- 6:10Speaker 1: You know what you need to do? And I just
- 6:12Speaker 1: got some of these. They're little scrunchies that you put
- 6:17Speaker 1: on your wrists when you're washing your face. They're wonderful.
- 6:22Speaker 1: They catch the water so it doesn't run down your arms.
- 6:26Speaker 1: They're great.
- 6:27Speaker 2: I seem to manage to wash my face without water
- 6:30Speaker 2: running down my arms.
- 6:32Speaker 3: You're not doing a very good job, though.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Why don't you come over and watch me do it?
- 6:42Speaker 3: Goat heads. There is no need for any explanation on
- 6:45Speaker 3: this one. Just ouch. And the rule of I before E.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Why does the English language have to make things so complicated?
- 6:54Speaker 3: Why not make it simple with a double E in
- 6:57Speaker 3: every word that has a long E sound?
- 6:59Speaker 2: Sure.
- 6:59Speaker 3: The frustration in correcting my spelling every day has got
- 7:03Speaker 3: to go.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Like chief, C-H-E-E-F, chief.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Yeah, makes sense.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Let's see this one from Tony, Things That Must Go. DNA,
- 7:13Speaker 3: a trio of sisters, opening the Eurovision Song Contest Asia-Philippine
- 7:19Speaker 3: Selection Night with a tune about reaching for the stars.
- 7:23Speaker 3: They were really pitchy and off-key and wearing outfits that
- 7:26Speaker 3: looked like they were made from factory scraps in a hurry.
- 7:30Speaker 3: especially that one sister who may have fallen in glitter. Wow.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Very specific.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Rare, Tony. The person who stole the memorial flowers and
- 7:42Speaker 3: scratched Dolly Parton's Hollywood star. How could they?
- 7:46Speaker 2: Really?
- 7:46Speaker 3: Didn't know that happened. Let's see. Ruby says things that
- 7:53Speaker 3: must go. Freaking allergies. I know you can't do anything
- 7:58Speaker 3: about it, but it's still annoying. Kids at my school
- 8:02Speaker 3: standing in the middle of the stairs while I'm trying
- 8:05Speaker 3: to get to class. I have five minutes. Start walking.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Good.
- 8:09Speaker 3: When the bell rings and my teacher says, the bell
- 8:13Speaker 3: doesn't dismiss you, I do. It's quite annoying.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Things that. Things that must go.
- 8:23Speaker 2: On the radio.
- 8:26Speaker 3: From Hell Show.
