- 0:04Eshra film BIA Ewal More Salin Habib Alamin Abbas Zahra
- 0:10Mohammed Mohammed Salam Alaikum and welcome back to another
- 0:17episode on the Aftermath podcast.
- 0:20It's been a number of weeks since I last sat on this chair,
- 0:22so I miss our conversations and I truly am excited to be here
- 0:26today. If you haven't subscribed
- 0:28already, smash that subscribe button in love of Rasoolallah
- 0:31Muhammad Salallahu Ali Hawali wasalam.
- 0:34And he's a personality that we are going to inshallah explore
- 0:37on today's discussion. Now before I begin, as always, I
- 0:41can't have these conversations alone.
- 0:43I'm joined by a backbone on this episode and every episode, in
- 0:47fact, a partner in my Ziara in my recent Arbain Ziara that we
- 0:52did in Karbala. And that's none other than my
- 0:54amazing Co host Ahmed Gokul Salaam Alaikum
- 1:10Ashman Shafak Habibi. I love you home.
- 1:15How you doing? I love the yeah, yeah yeah.
- 1:22You and it's been like a really emotional few weeks, months.
- 1:29And now we are now in the month of Rabel Awal and we are at the
- 1:35time of release. I think if I'm not mistaken, it
- 1:37will be a couple of days before Milad and Nabi and Shah Allah,
- 1:41which of course for the for the AL Al Shiya are celebrating on
- 1:47the 17th. But the after son of Ajama I
- 1:49celebrate on the 12th of Rabel Awal.
- 1:51But of course, for all Muslims around the world, this is a week
- 1:55of celebration, a week of joy, a week of veneration.
- 1:59And really, yeah, it's an amazing opportunity to to get
- 2:04more into the life and the honour of Rasulullah Muhammad
- 2:07Salallahu Alayhi Salah. Inshallah indeed, you're
- 2:09absolutely right. And you know, just not not long
- 2:13ago we were commemorating his death.
- 2:15Yes, and now Inshallah we will be celebrating his birth and you
- 2:20know, being Rabi al Owen, we've come out from the months of
- 2:22Muharram come out from the sorrowful months of Safar as
- 2:25well. I'm excited to not wear black
- 2:27today, Like I feel different. I, I actually feel happy, like
- 2:31it's changed my my mood. I've I've I'm looking forward to
- 2:35celebrating the the auspicious occasions of the What do.
- 2:38You do on on milad and ABI. I probably asked you this last.
- 2:42Year I definitely don't have a Christmas tree.
- 2:45Why would you have a Christmas? I've seen like a new trend with
- 2:48people celebrating more than Nebu where they actually have
- 2:51bring trees. No, they don't call it a
- 2:53Christmas tree, but I think it's the same.
- 2:55Are you serious? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 2:56Where have you seen that? On Instagram.
- 2:57Oh. My God, that's definitely.
- 3:00What do you think about that? I I think that's it's no, I've
- 3:05never heard of that man. No.
- 3:07And ultimately I think it's it's always occasions, it's always I.
- 3:09Like the, the, the sentiment makes sense of doing something
- 3:13which brings the family together.
- 3:15It's the, it's the happiest, arguably one of the happiest
- 3:18occasions in the Islamic calendar.
- 3:20And I understand, especially for Western Muslims, like in a world
- 3:24where Christmas is like such a big deal when you want to put
- 3:26something in your home and get the family to celebrate
- 3:28together, I get it. Like I get where it comes from,
- 3:31but it's not obviously it's not got tradition to.
- 3:34It has a lot of history. But mainly I think for me, I
- 3:37think since I was a little kid, like it has to be you go to the
- 3:40mosque, you go to the messenger, you go to the hosseini and bro,
- 3:44you just celebrate. You celebrate his life, you
- 3:46celebrate the rahmadahallah instilled on this earth.
- 3:49Yeah. Anyway, Ahmed sallallahu alaihi
- 3:51wasallam Habib, he's not like an ordinary, ordinary individual
- 3:55and he's not some random guy or someone who can be compared with
- 3:59any living man on this earth because, you know, we know him
- 4:03as Rahmat, the mercy to mankind, Sahay, the seal of prophet
- 4:08chosen by Allah, the divine Khatima Lambia.
- 4:12So if you ask like who is Muhammad?
- 4:14Pro Muhammad is everything that's good, everything that's
- 4:17yeah, yeah, yeah. Nabil Rahman like there's
- 4:21nothing that we can get from any of the adebate Allahu Salaam,
- 4:25which does not come from Salaam, Muhammad Salaam and everything
- 4:29which we see. And you know, obviously the
- 4:31tradition of modern and Nabi, it has been celebrated for hundreds
- 4:36and years, hundreds of years. Of course, the, the, the sad
- 4:40part, the unfortunate part is that in parts of the world
- 4:42today, it's considered a bit, it's considered an innovation
- 4:45which we dismiss. If I'm not mistaken, I believe
- 4:48the majority of Muslims dismiss. It's only in the last couple of
- 4:51100 years really where you've had a very strong push and
- 4:56propaganda from literalist, fundamentalist Wahhabism, which
- 5:01has tried to downplay the landmark event of Milad Nabi
- 5:08Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. And I think it's, it's ironic
- 5:11because if you look at the early Islamic literature, Sunni or
- 5:14Shia, So if you look at, for example, in Shia books, Sheikh
- 5:17Al Mofid has a book Milad and Nabi Asfiya, well, Aussiya, it's
- 5:23translated by Najashi. Or for example, the Sunni school
- 5:26of thought has Jalaladina Soyotte has a book talking about
- 5:30the qualities, the birth and the qualities of Allah Muhammad.
- 5:33These are books which are historic classical books, Sunni
- 5:36and Shia. You look at, for example,
- 5:38earlier dates in history, there were treaties which were signed
- 5:42on Milad Nabi as a day where of recognition, where Muslims
- 5:46celebrate peace and where we celebrate the qualities, the
- 5:49ideals that Rasul Allah brought and he brank.
- 5:52So I think it's very, very hypocritical for Muslims around
- 5:56the world when they read the Holy Quran and they read, for
- 5:58example, Swift Mariam where Allah says that Salaam Salaam on
- 6:04the day of of the birth of Yahya, which is amazing
- 6:08Subhanallah. Like if you're going to look at,
- 6:09oh, is is is the birth of any prophet mentioned anywhere in
- 6:13the Quran? You don't look at hadith first.
- 6:14Look at the Quran first. Of course.
- 6:15Yeah, the birth of Yahya has talked about Surat Amarian and
- 6:19then later in Sotomayam Nabi Isa, Alayhi Salaam says Salaam
- 6:22on the day I was born. So you have a lasting Salaam on
- 6:25the day Yahya was born, Alayhi Salaam and Salaam on the day Isa
- 6:29was born, Alayhi Salaam, which is mentioned by Isa himself in
- 6:31the Holy Quran. So these are just occasions
- 6:34which are proofs that this of course and all, obviously it
- 6:38goes without saying in Sunni traditions, although we have a
- 6:41difference in the day he was born.
- 6:43The Sunnis say that Sullalam Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi
- 6:46Salaam was born on a Monday. And in their traditions, they
- 6:48say he fasted every single Monday to honour that.
- 6:51In the same way, for example, Jemaah is on a Friday because
- 6:54that's the birth of Nabi Adam Alayhi Salaam.
- 6:56So there's so many things to, to take note of here.
- 6:58And I, I first want to get that out of the way because there are
- 7:01just like a plethora of people online who dismiss this huge
- 7:06occasion with just brainless, mindless propaganda and just,
- 7:11you know, accepting what in their minds may make sense.
- 7:14Or they see a so-called imam spewing this nonsense and they
- 7:18just accept it mindlessly. Well, I don't think they've, I
- 7:21think fully understood what their celebration is about.
- 7:26They, yeah, I don't understand. How can you not celebrate the
- 7:29life and be joyous about the life of Rasoolallah Muhammad
- 7:33sallallahu alayhi Salaam, when he represented the best of the
- 7:36very best. And if we want to look at the
- 7:39best of character, we find it in Muhammad.
- 7:42The best of speech we find in Muhammad.
- 7:44The best of Ahlah we find in Muhammad.
- 7:48Yeah, yeah, you're right. My point is like if you claim
- 7:52you love Rasoolallah and he is the best of creation, how can
- 7:58you say celebrating his auspicious birth is a bit?
- 8:02It's not a conversation on. Again, it's been had hundreds of
- 8:06times. I, I don't think we even need to
- 8:08have those discussions. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 8:10Actually, I, we're comfortable where we are.
- 8:11We know what we're doing is legit.
- 8:13It's within, you know what? Looks like the positive state to
- 8:16take from it bro. Like Eitel or Montalvi said that
- 8:20this is a week of unity between the Sunni and the Shia.
- 8:22And of course we've said many times before that it's an
- 8:26opportunity for us to all come together and look, historically
- 8:28speaking, what do you do on bin Laden?
- 8:29It be of course you celebrate this, that, but we reflect on
- 8:32the origins of the holy prophets.
- 8:35Noor, like the Noor that existed before his appearance on this
- 8:40earth in a physical form. Do you know what I mean?
- 8:42And that Noor is something which makes up, of course, from Shia.
- 8:46I believe it is when we see Rahmatullah Alameen, which you
- 8:49mentioned very rightly, it goes beyond the mercy that he said
- 8:53through his words and his conduct, that it's beyond that.
- 8:55It's Rahmatullah Alameen that Allah, Allah created the heavens
- 8:59and the earth for the love of Muhammad, Ali, Muhammad, you
- 9:01know what I mean? And that's something which is so
- 9:03important for us to bear in mind because we owe our existence, we
- 9:07owe our religion, we owe our purpose, our Dean, our, our
- 9:11whole priority system, you know, the, the consciousness of where
- 9:16we came from and where we're going to came from the
- 9:19revelation that came to Habib Allah.
- 9:22Do you know what I mean? And that is something that's so
- 9:24important to us. So if we, if we fail to
- 9:27recognise especially that concept of Nord in this week, I
- 9:30feel like we've, we've really missed a massive opportunity.
- 9:33Do you know what I mean? Like I understand, but I think
- 9:36let's, let's dig a bit deeper, Ahmed.
- 9:37I think like, you know, if we aspire and want to live up to
- 9:40certain standards as Muslims and share Allah, I mean, we have to
- 9:44take life lessons from his life, you know, from his Serie, from
- 9:47his Sunnah. And we can look at, for example,
- 9:50how he was with marriages, how he was with the people, with the
- 9:54community, with non-Muslims. Like he he has a significant
- 9:58role of how we can best implement our lives to live the
- 10:01best Muslims, right. And you know, something for me
- 10:05that stands out is for example, him being a Sadiq Al Amin.
- 10:08And perhaps I can get into that in a little in a, in a short
- 10:11way. What does?
- 10:11That mean for people who don't know.
- 10:12Sadiq al Amin means the most trusted, 1 truthful and the most
- 10:18truthful 1 so Sadiq the truthful, 1 Al Amin the
- 10:22trustworthy. Can I just say sorry, we should
- 10:23have mentioned it earlier But of course this is also the week we
- 10:26celebrate the birth of Imam Jaffa Lasali.
- 10:28Can't say that. Also born on 17th or below, as
- 10:31was, I believe it or not, 17th beautiful, which is why I'm
- 10:34called Ahmed. So I have to mention that.
- 10:37But yeah. Sorry bro, that's amazing.
- 10:38Not that it's important we're talking about.
- 10:41This is vital. Muhammad, Muhammad, Muhammad.
- 10:51And that's the beauty of the like.
- 10:53Even when you look at them from from the first imam to the
- 10:58Sharif, they all go back to Rasulullah.
- 11:00So coming back to the point of him being given the title Assad
- 11:04al Amin, which we said Assad means the truthful 1, Al Amin
- 11:08means the trustworthy 1. And this was a title that was
- 11:12attributed to him before he even announced his prophethood, which
- 11:16is shocking, surprising. And it's and, and it's not a
- 11:19lesson that we can learn from that.
- 11:21Rasulullah Sallallahu al Hawaii said before he even taught
- 11:23Islam, had these principles, had these morals, had these
- 11:26attributes. What makes you a good man?
- 11:29There's something we can look into.
- 11:30And what I like about this title being Assad the Columbian, by
- 11:34the way, is that Rasul Allah was someone Sallallahu alaihi
- 11:39wasallam that even his enemies, even those that didn't like him,
- 11:43even those that I didn't like, who this Muhammad was, you know,
- 11:46changing the House of people in Mecca, for example.
- 11:49Yeah, they would throw out the billah, sometimes stones and
- 11:53rocks at him. They will still trust their
- 11:55amanat and their goods with Rasul Allah, knowing full well
- 11:59that we can anger him, we can disrespect him, but leave our
- 12:03goods with him and know full well that when we come back
- 12:05we'll receive everything the same way that we gave it to him.
- 12:08It comes back to us. And that's bro, that's something
- 12:10unique, that's something we have to think about.
- 12:12And when we say Asad, I mean that means we also have to be
- 12:15Sadiq. We also have to be truthful in
- 12:17our lives. We also have to be trustworthy
- 12:19in our lives. I mean, when we deep it and
- 12:22think about it, the way we live our lives, I think is far away
- 12:28from what Rasol Allah to us. Of course.
- 12:30I mean, if we say he was a Sadiq, that means he didn't lie,
- 12:34that means he doesn't lie and lying doesn't exist in the
- 12:37encyclopedia of any Muslim Andy and Bahir left, right and
- 12:41centre, where we're lying to our family members, we're lying to
- 12:44our circle of friends, we're lying to community members.
- 12:47People go as far as lying to governments people, you know,
- 12:50cheating well, cheating the benefit system for financial
- 12:53gain. But all of this this Hassab and
- 12:54gets up for if we say we are the lovers of Rasool Allah and the
- 12:58Shia of Ali and Nabi Talib, Emir al Nomini, well, we're far away
- 13:01from this lovers of Rasool Allah and the Shia.
- 13:03They don't lie. The lovers of Rasulallah and the
- 13:05Shia, they don't cheat. The lovers of Rasulallah and
- 13:09Alib Nabiq Talib. What do they do, brother?
- 13:12Far away from that which is Haram.
- 13:14They don't eat, they don't watch, they don't consume, they
- 13:16don't listen to Haram. Are we doing this?
- 13:19That's I think. I think when we say aside the
- 13:21kalami and we just throw it out there, that's something we need
- 13:24to. Yeah, No, it goes without
- 13:25saying. Yeah, there's so many, there's
- 13:27so many things. And we've talked a lot in the
- 13:28past about the, the, the Makkaramalakhla purpose and
- 13:31that, that, that was the USP for Islam, ironically, in a world
- 13:37and at a time which lacked morals and which lacked respect,
- 13:42I think for, for people. And they, they saw this man and
- 13:46he was raised in a desert. He was raised as an orphan.
- 13:51His father died while his mother was pregnant.
- 13:53His mother died when he was a child.
- 13:56He was raised by his nurse in, in, in outside the city and he
- 14:01comes back and the other schools of Islam say that he was on me
- 14:05in the sense that he was illiterate, which of course we
- 14:08disagree with. And, and that is something which
- 14:11I understand from a like a human perspective that they see this
- 14:15guy come and he has the best of Akhlaq.
- 14:18He has knowledge beyond understanding.
- 14:19He has strength, he has speech qualities.
- 14:22He has all of these amazing attributes which we find in the
- 14:26stories of the prior prophets, all of the attributes, you know,
- 14:29the, the strength, the forbearers, the patience, the,
- 14:31the leadership skills. And then he comes out and he,
- 14:36he, he publicly declares his revelation.
- 14:40Now, of course, the key differences here are we believe
- 14:44as the Shihad that the Holy Prophet was born a prophet.
- 14:48He was prophet before he was born and that he was aware of
- 14:50this and it was just a time and a place where he waited for the
- 14:54command for the instruction from the last pond to Allah.
- 14:56When the Holy Quran and and the first revelation was given to
- 15:00him, he then publicly declared this.
- 15:02And then obviously there was a strategic and, and divine,
- 15:06what's the word plan in terms of how he came about doing this.
- 15:09But everything he did was done with the intent of etiquette,
- 15:14which is completely true in terms of what you're saying.
- 15:17So I think that is the ultimate reasoning as to why Islam spread
- 15:22so vastly in the first however many years when he was in Mecca,
- 15:29he he only amassed 100 or 150 companions before the Hitler.
- 15:34And you think that Subhanallah, that is not a massive number,
- 15:37you know, but the quality of, of the majority of those companions
- 15:41who were second to none. And, and that is because they
- 15:44saw his sincerity. And then of course, when he
- 15:48migrated, he managed to reach a larger number of people.
- 15:51So it's very important for us to think about these.
- 15:53There's a lot of, I think from, from what I want to mention,
- 15:56there's so many distinctions between our perspective on the
- 16:03Holy Prophet Muhammad and the other schools of thought.
- 16:06And ultimately, like I said, we all obviously Revere the Holy
- 16:10Prophet Muhammad. He is of course, the the pillar
- 16:13of our entire faith and in in our Muslim believe he's the
- 16:16pillar of the whole of existence.
- 16:18But it's a very important discussion to have here.
- 16:21Definitely is indeed and you mentioned that point of him
- 16:24being illiterate all the Allah, you know stuff for Allah for
- 16:27anyone who comes with this false accusation and claim and I and I
- 16:32and I think it's. It's a misinterpretation.
- 16:34Of thought it is a misinterpretation because like
- 16:36if we go back to our literature, our hadiths in the Shia school
- 16:41of thought school of Adelaide, we have Imam Jawad Alihd Salaam,
- 16:46Imam al Baker Alihair Salaam, where they speak about this,
- 16:49this term of Rasoolallah Salallahu alayhi Salaam being
- 16:52umm, being illiterate, where they just announce this and they
- 16:55say, no, this is this means he has an an nesbi to Umm al Qura,
- 17:02which means that what Umi means is that he is basically a Mecca.
- 17:06You know, he's from the land of Mecca.
- 17:08And anyone who claims that Rasul Allah was illiterate is cursed.
- 17:12And that's something we need to factor in that how can Rasul
- 17:16Allah be illiterate if revelation was sent down to him?
- 17:19How can Rasul Allah Salah al Hawaii Salim be illiterate of
- 17:22the book of Allah? The Quran was given to him and
- 17:25on top of that he'd he'd read treaties, he'd signed treaties.
- 17:30Logically speaking, come on. It doesn't make sense and I
- 17:32think it's a disrespect. The dictation, of course it's
- 17:34disrespect. There's dictation of the holy of
- 17:36Quran dictated the Quran to his companions of including the
- 17:40middle of Manin. Ali Salam we believe was the 1st
- 17:42and most prominent of those who were present and and ascribed
- 17:46the holy of Quran. And something important to note
- 17:49is how would that of course, we believe in middle of Manin was
- 17:51infallible, but for anyone else, how would the Holy Prophet be
- 17:54able to Fact Check this? Do you know what I mean?
- 17:56In the same way the treaties and and all of the the letters and
- 17:59all of these things which we talk about are Hadid.
- 18:01They wouldn't make sense if he was going to be able to read or
- 18:03write. There's even a narration where
- 18:05Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam was with Abu Baker and
- 18:09UDA Omar, for example, and he was going over the verse, and
- 18:14that's an hopefully a little bad.
- 18:16And he wrote it with his hands in the sands.
- 18:18And so you're telling me that means what?
- 18:19That's a good point. I mean, there's a lot of things
- 18:23to ponder on. I think about that, You know,
- 18:24when we open up our literature, be it Sunni or Shiite works,
- 18:28whatever it is, you know. Well, if it doesn't make sense,
- 18:31how can you? Yeah, I mean, my, my point is if
- 18:36God is telling you he's the best of creation, what makes you
- 18:39think that he has an iota of something of law of law and
- 18:44he'll handle a Shia in the school of albeit a Shia Muslims,
- 18:47we are proud to say Rasul Allah is Masul Mutlak.
- 18:51He is. Level of.
- 18:52Infallibility. Infallibility made no mistake
- 18:58and the sad reality is that even though this was apparent, like
- 19:01people know that Borasul Allah is Salallahu Ali while he was
- 19:05selling them, there's no flow. You can't find any flow even a
- 19:07little bit Ali with Salaam. Find me one place where you can
- 19:11find flow. I'm not talking about distorted
- 19:13Islamic history. Sometimes you can open up for
- 19:15example the books of Bukhari and you see Rasul Allah was
- 19:18bewitched stuff for Allah. You open up Bukhari and see
- 19:21Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi. Salaam was inflicted by black
- 19:24magic bro bro. And so, I mean, the sad thing is
- 19:29where in Shia, in Shia books, there's there's attempts of it,
- 19:32but it never reached the Holy Prophet because of obviously
- 19:34it's divine protection. But even like you're saying, in
- 19:37Bukhari, we talked about this essay on the group chat that the
- 19:41number of times narrated by Ayesha that he would be very
- 19:45close to, as an hadith says, throwing himself off a Cliff.
- 19:48Because of the. Weight suicidal, Yeah, because
- 19:50of the weight of revelation and the period in which he did not.
- 19:53And there was a period where he did not receive revelation.
- 19:55And according to that hadith talks about him, him feeling so
- 19:58depressed that he wanted to throw himself off a Cliff.
- 20:01And it says on numerous occasions.
- 20:03It doesn't make sense to us. Of course, it doesn't make sense
- 20:05because we just logically speaking, this is, this is the,
- 20:08the prime example we said earlier when we say that he's
- 20:13Ashraf Al Khalq, he's the most noble of creation.
- 20:16It's it's a flaw. It's completely a flaw.
- 20:18It's, it's something which denotes mental health issues.
- 20:21And that's not something we believe the Holy Prophet could
- 20:23have. And there's various other ways
- 20:26in which I believe the school of the Ahmedabad Islam revered a
- 20:28prophet unlike anyone else. That's the true When we say
- 20:33sallallahu, alayhallahu, Salaam, what do we usually do?
- 20:36Salawat. This is the only school of
- 20:40thought which does Salawat. Every time you go to the mosque,
- 20:42you hear the names not only of the Holy Prophet, but of his
- 20:45lineage and his IEM alema Salaam who preceded him or succeeded
- 20:50him rather. And those, those are, those are
- 20:52one, those are ways in which we bless the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
- 20:55Not just that, this is Milan Nabi.
- 20:57We go to his, his. Sorry bro.
- 20:59Sallallam. Sorry, go on.
- 21:00Yes, and that's another one we don't say.
- 21:06We say salallahu alayhi Salaam. So Ali's laughing.
- 21:09Why No, because we saw a video of this professor, Shia
- 21:13professor, I'm not going to say his name, but he made a very
- 21:16good point. He said that it's a disrespect
- 21:18to say salallahu alayhi wasalam as a Sunni scholar or as a Sunni
- 21:22and not to say it with proper dictation, proper Mahalich.
- 21:25Rather he says you see on YouTube.
- 21:27Rather they say the Prophet saw some like.
- 21:30Yeah, yeah. Come on bro.
- 21:31Beyond that, OK, milad and Nabi. OK, you said you go to the
- 21:33mosque or Fattah Nabi shahadat al sallallahu.
- 21:36Where are you in the? Mosque.
- 21:38All right, this is not something we see in other schools of
- 21:40thought. The infallibility we believe it
- 21:42being absolute, complete infallibility, not ex you know,
- 21:46excuses or exceptions for minor errors or difficulties or times
- 21:51where he may have done a loophole.
- 21:53Or you know, there was another hadith in Bahari which was
- 21:56mentioned last night on in our group chat that there were times
- 22:00where Rasallallah would enter the mosque, implying that he was
- 22:03in a state of Janaba, you know, which would makes no sense of
- 22:06course, or that he had impure clothes.
- 22:09And these kind of things are not, you know, they don't, they
- 22:12don't agree with us. But obviously we're not here to
- 22:14talk about the floors. We're here to talk about the the
- 22:17amazing attributes, the honors of someone who we believe came
- 22:21as Allah's, the representative of Allah's complete and final
- 22:25religion on earth. And he left us the whole toolkit
- 22:28there ready. I was, I was actually speaking
- 22:30to a brother from another school of thought a few days ago.
- 22:33He mentioned to me, he said, you're telling me that he's
- 22:36Rahmatullah Alameen. But he didn't.
- 22:40He didn't give Rahmat his companions when it came to
- 22:44successor. In my opinion, the whole
- 22:46definition of Rahmatullah al Amin is on us to accept and to
- 22:52allow it to enter our hearts. Because I refuse to accept his
- 22:56Rahma doesn't mean he's not Rahmatullah al Amin.
- 22:59Do you see what I mean? If the Holy Prophet came, he
- 23:02said he spoke and he actioned certain things.
- 23:05It's on me to accept that with a whole heart, an open heart.
- 23:08She see what I mean? So I think that there's so much
- 23:11knowledge and wisdom to gain from him, and knowledge and
- 23:14wisdom's like just the bare minimum, bro.
- 23:17We're talking about salvation and we're talking about reward,
- 23:19We're talking about intercession, we're talking
- 23:21about the Holy Prophet being amongst him in the ark.
- 23:23These are things which are far beyond our comprehension.
- 23:26Imagine being there the pool of Kafa alongside the.
- 23:29Pool of law, yeah, yeah, it's, it's it's like you can't get,
- 23:33you can't wrap your head around these things, man.
- 23:34You know, speaking about like we've referenced this so much
- 23:37now, Rahmat and Allah. I mean, Rahmat and Allah is the
- 23:41mercy to mankind. And I lost upon what Allah, I
- 23:45mean accent. But we have the best of both
- 23:48worlds. And you got the most merciful,
- 23:50Rahul, Allah, the mercy to mankind.
- 23:52And we can't be merciful with one another.
- 23:53Yeah, I need this. Like, look at the emphasis of
- 23:57the word mercy. No, it's great.
- 24:00And, and what's shocking is that we can't be merciful with our
- 24:05neighbours, We can't be merciful with our children.
- 24:07You know, there's a hadith once speaking about the mercy and
- 24:10children, Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihiwali wasallam and the
- 24:13narration, he kissed Imam al Hassan alayhi Salaam.
- 24:17And a man came to him and he was like, oh, you kissed your, your
- 24:20grandchild. I have seven sons.
- 24:22I've never kissed him. Seven sons.
- 24:23You know, Russell, Allah goes like, wow, we hope to you like,
- 24:27how can you not show any mercy? Yeah, you'll be questioned on
- 24:29this on on the day of judgement that you showed no mercy, no
- 24:32affection, no love to your children.
- 24:34Yeah. The emphasis of Rahman mercy on
- 24:37everyone we meet your family members, be it your community
- 24:41members. And I say neighbours because
- 24:45when non-Muslims look at me, when non-Muslims look at you,
- 24:49look at Said Mustaba, look at all the previous guests.
- 24:52We've had an aftermath of a podcast.
- 24:54Every single Muslim out there represent you, represent the
- 24:57mercy to mankind who is Rasul Allah, Muhammad Sallallallahu,
- 25:01and you're an ambassador to this faith, to this theme, to this
- 25:05religion, Islam. Have you heard that thing say?
- 25:07Mustafa Qazwini said. What did he say?
- 25:09I. Remember I had a lecture from
- 25:11say Mustafa Qazwini and he was mentioning how he was giving a
- 25:15conference somewhere and a brother came to him who was not
- 25:18Muslim and spoke to him like in the hotel lobby.
- 25:22Well, he didn't look Muslim like he was native.
- 25:24He was like a white American Christian looking guy.
- 25:27And he basically told her, he told her the highly problem.
- 25:30He told Mustafa, I want to convert and he said why?
- 25:34He said, well, I was I, I was at home one day and I was with my
- 25:37wife and we had a knock on the door and I had an Arab guy at my
- 25:40door with a plate of food. He goes here, have some food.
- 25:43He goes, who are you? I'm your neighbour.
- 25:44I've just moved here. So the guy was like, OK,
- 25:47whatever he said, he took the plate, he threw it in the bin.
- 25:49Basically after the guy gave him the food, he came, he threw it
- 25:51in the bin. He's like this this Arab guy
- 25:54thinks we're homeless so we don't have food.
- 25:56And so the next day the same thing happened.
- 25:58The same guy came back, He came this time with his father and
- 26:01they gave him food. And this American guy is like,
- 26:04why is this guy consistently giving us his food?
- 26:08I I'm not homeless this like I'm offended.
- 26:11So he said, look, we're your neighbours.
- 26:14He goes, it's our tradition. He goes, I know you're not
- 26:16because he kept saying I'm not hungry.
- 26:18I don't want your so I know you're not hungry, but it's our
- 26:20tradition to feed our neighbours.
- 26:22He said why? He said this is a month of
- 26:23Ramadan when this happened. He goes in our tradition, we
- 26:26give food to our neighbours. He says, watch what religion you
- 26:29said Islam. He goes, I want to understand
- 26:31more come in. So the guy came in with his
- 26:33father and sat down and they start talking.
- 26:35One thing led to another to the point where then he found it in
- 26:38his heart to convert. And we see This is why we have
- 26:41obviously a lot of respect for our Riva brothers sisters,
- 26:44because we see that there's a pure openness to learning,
- 26:47whether you come from another school of thought within Islam
- 26:51or even outside of the fall of Islam.
- 26:52But the the like, you know, the non biased, the non judgmental
- 26:57judgmentalism and the willingness to be open, It's
- 27:01just amazing, especially when we live in a world where everything
- 27:04is demonized when. It comes to Ali.
- 27:05Yeah, yeah. Muhammad fought with the sword
- 27:08and he spread Islam by the sword and Muhammad was this and the
- 27:11other. Can't even say some of the words
- 27:13that they say on the podcast but.
- 27:15You know, I would say Islam was spread by the sword, well, not
- 27:18the sword of Rasulullah. Anyhow, yeah, I mean, look, what
- 27:22do we see just at the beginning? We'll just say something.
- 27:25What did Osulah said? If it were not for two things,
- 27:28Islam would have perished. What was it the wealth of?
- 27:33Khadija and the Sword of Ali. Ali Salaam.
- 27:36Lal. Salah So this positive spreading
- 27:39by by by military means it's from under the leadership of.
- 27:42Rasulullah and you know you mentioned that story with the
- 27:45say Muslim Al Khazwini and this river brother that became
- 27:48Muslim. That goes to the point that I'm
- 27:49trying to tell you that if we sort of represents Rasul Allah
- 27:54and our ambassadors to Islam when they see the actions we do.
- 27:59Yeah, yeah. If we do good, they say amazing.
- 28:02If we do bad, they say this is what their prophet taught them.
- 28:05Yeah, yeah, this is what their religion tells them to do.
- 28:07How many have you ever have you ever had that situation where
- 28:09you like I had AI had a measures to my house in the arm?
- 28:13Unfortunately, you weren't there because you were not able to
- 28:16make it. I was there.
- 28:17Charlotte next year? Charlotte next year?
- 28:19No, but I remember I had to let my neighbors know.
- 28:21It's like I've got friends coming over.
- 28:23We're just going to do a small thing That's that.
- 28:25So I I posted on the WhatsApp chat for.
- 28:27The area. You know, for the area, like the
- 28:29group and my immediate next door neighbors, I know them, you
- 28:32know, both Indian brothers. I told them and they said yeah,
- 28:34that's fine. Just that people left, right and
- 28:36centre start offering their driveways.
- 28:38Beautiful. I was like wow.
- 28:40People I've never spoken to, you know, like 15 houses down saying
- 28:43if you need to park, feel free. I was like, that's so sweet.
- 28:46Like, I'm doing a medgelist for Abdullah and so these guys don't
- 28:49know what I'm doing. Yeah, yeah.
- 28:50And then in return, after the medgelist, we brought them a
- 28:53plate of food. We said thank you so much for
- 28:54this stuff. They were so grateful.
- 28:56I was thinking, Subhan Allah this is there's something
- 29:00special about the neighbor relationship.
- 29:02Do you know what there is? And there's emphasis on it
- 29:04through all the MBR, like even for example, Aisa Ali Salam, you
- 29:07know, it tells you look after your neighbours, Rasul Allah.
- 29:10Well, fathun zarah sallallahu alaihi wasallam.
- 29:11We know the very famous story of Al Jarfa Madar.
- 29:15Yeah, yeah. And it it plays a very critical
- 29:17role in terms of whether it's, you know, showing them, guiding
- 29:21them towards Islam through actions, through your ahlah free
- 29:24mannerism. And, you know, this all goes to
- 29:26show that the emphasis of being kind with your neighbours is
- 29:29seen everywhere and not just with Rasul Allah sallallahu
- 29:32alaihi wasallam. Even if we go back to the other
- 29:34prophets of God, Isa Alaihi Salaam, you know who tells you
- 29:37know, you know, be kind and love your neighbours.
- 29:40Rasulallah emphasize and even I, I think there was a narration
- 29:43actually, in fact, where as a Muslim you shouldn't just know
- 29:46your next door neighbour. You should I think it was No 7
- 29:49houses down each way. So left, right forward them
- 29:53back. And that's how much neighbour
- 29:56relations are emphasized. And even if we say we're Shia,
- 29:59we learn from the daughter of Rasulallah, Fatima.
- 30:02The Zara say that in Salam where very famously, you know, the
- 30:06stories of Al Jar from Madar and how she looked after all the
- 30:11neighbours. Like even during the months of
- 30:14Ramadan when they'll be fasting, neighbours will come in and ask
- 30:16for food and she'll give it to them.
- 30:18Would we do that? I don't think we can do that.
- 30:21We may share a bread with them, you know, perhaps we give them
- 30:25leftovers, but would we ever really give our whole family a
- 30:28meal to our needy neighbours, for example, as I was the last
- 30:31time we went to our neighbours as Muslims?
- 30:34Zien knocked on the door. I said, how you guys doing?
- 30:39Do you guys need anything? Can we assist you with anything?
- 30:42You know how much times I've had, I think especially at
- 30:45workplace, I have a good relationship with the
- 30:48neighbourhood. You know, I've been there for
- 30:50many, many years and we've had numerous interactions.
- 30:54And there's always a point where I say where I really wish they
- 30:57asked me about Islam. They don't and they love me.
- 31:01Alhamdulillah, but they love me. Why not?
- 31:04Because. Because you're you.
- 31:05Look like a good guy. No, because I, I, I, I think I
- 31:07try to be the best with them. Well, that's the best for them.
- 31:10And the fact that they're not Muslim, like even when new
- 31:12neighbours move in, they speak good of me.
- 31:15Yeah, you don't understand Hamdullah.
- 31:17So not because I'm a good person, I try to be a good
- 31:20person, but this is because I know this is the akhlaq we need
- 31:22to have of. Course 100% and when you go out
- 31:25there and you've got names like Ahmed and Ali for.
- 31:27Example. Ahmed and Ali and you're
- 31:29representing Islam. It's obvious.
- 31:31Like, you know, the guy's called Ahmed and he's got a beard and
- 31:33Ali's got a beard and you know, they, they have a certain
- 31:36mannerism about them and you know, they look in sound Muslim
- 31:38and obviously you're Muslims. You know what I mean, You know?
- 31:41Half the time that when, like, when I, well, not half the time.
- 31:43Maybe half the time that sometimes I go above and beyond
- 31:47of what I think is expected of us as Muslims.
- 31:50And someone tell me, well, Ali, why you like that?
- 31:52Like, why you're overdoing it. I'm like, not overdoing it.
- 31:55This is what we should be doing. Yeah.
- 31:57You understand, Like, if you want to be generous, don't just
- 31:59be generous. No, take it.
- 32:02Up a notch, yeah. Yeah.
- 32:03You know, like, I think like he said that he goes whatever is
- 32:06expected of you to give go above and beyond that.
- 32:09He paid his workers above what they agreed with him.
- 32:11You know, these are kind of things we should emulate.
- 32:13I just want to mention a couple of things that were sent in to
- 32:16us. We had like loads of people as
- 32:18usual. Thank you Mandem for sending
- 32:21stuff in brothers and sisters. But we had a few points sent in
- 32:25to us which I really appreciate. The 11 point which I really
- 32:28liked from a brother called Hadi I believe he mentioned, I don't
- 32:33know the reference but it's Imam Jaffar of Sadiq al Islam saying
- 32:36to his companions how the Holy Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu
- 32:38alaihi wasallam is aware of his almost private sins and gets
- 32:43anxious when they're presented to him.
- 32:44When you really think about it, his entire life is a struggle in
- 32:48the part of the last one on to Allah and when Allah takes his
- 32:50soul, which is usually the greatest gift for a believer.
- 32:53But for him, he still worries for his oma from life to death
- 32:56and until the day of judgement he's in a state of worry for his
- 32:58people. Even when he reaches the pond of
- 33:01Kothar, we inshallah will have our thirst quench from the cup
- 33:04from his hand. All he has ever done is to serve
- 33:07and worry for his people and it's outstanding how we as the
- 33:11Shia don't talk about it enough. There's some other points.
- 33:14I had a family member mentioned to me that specifically, listen,
- 33:21if you want to understand how great the Salam Hamad is,
- 33:24Salallahu Alayhi Salam, look at his daughter Fatima.
- 33:28Salam Alaya say this in salami mean we're saying what Fatima,
- 33:32what Abu Hawa Battalawa Banuha, like the whole world revolves
- 33:36around say the Fatima. And I really believe that, you
- 33:38know, it's the queen of the Yahoo debate, the name of
- 33:40Salaam, the queen of existence. The most beloved of our most
- 33:44beloved is, say, the Fatima. She's so beloved to God that
- 33:47what pleases her pleases Allah. What angers her, angers Allah.
- 33:52Bro, it's it's just mind blowing to think that this Allah loved
- 33:56her so much because the Prophet loved her right and vice versa.
- 34:01And that Allah chose her to be the the focal point of the
- 34:05lineage of, of Rasulullah. Do you know what I mean?
- 34:08Yeah, yeah, yeah. And we say now that the holy
- 34:10Prophet came from a pure lineage.
- 34:12You know, unlike other schools, they say that the lineage of the
- 34:15Holy Prophet, his parents were bushakin or kuffar.
- 34:18Come on bro, like the parents of the Holy Prophet were hadiths as
- 34:22we say you know from Adam Alay Salam when I last found to Allah
- 34:25said to Adam and this covenant which I give you there will be
- 34:28no one that follows you in your lineage which will be unjust as
- 34:32Allah says Quran Ibrahim alayhi Salaam.
- 34:35That's why I said I didn't before I met Ibrahim.
- 34:37It's very important to, to understand that when it reaches
- 34:40Rasul Allah, you've reached like the pinnacle of Dohrid, right?
- 34:44Understanding, manifesting Dohrid Muwahid in its purest
- 34:47form. And that one individual, the,
- 34:50the, the, the family tree goes like this.
- 34:54It thins and it slims down to one person who is all Allah.
- 34:57And then it continues like that. And that that point of growth
- 34:59comes from saying, you know what I mean, until the day of
- 35:03judgement, Salaam, until Muhammad Mehdi, who's named of
- 35:05course, after Salaam Muhammad. You know, like how great is
- 35:08Allah, Allah Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam that he had an
- 35:11Immaculate progeny? Yeah, a little bit Salaam that
- 35:16not just Rasul Allah, Rahmat Al Al Al Amin, but his very own
- 35:19daughter, Fatima Tzara, say that in a style Al Amin, the leader
- 35:25of the women of the world, not just that she's given the title
- 35:28of being one of the four best women on this on this earth.
- 35:33From one of the greatest. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 35:35The greatest of the four. Sorry.
- 35:37No, you're right, 100. Percent Amir Al Mutmanin Ali
- 35:40Abdullah Salati Wasalam, the Prince of Believers, The Command
- 35:43of the Faithful, His his grandchildren, Hassan Way,
- 35:46Mohammed Hussain, Say they Shababi Ehlin Jen, the masters
- 35:51of the youth of paradise. Come on bro.
- 35:53That's who the holy prophets around himself rather and if
- 35:56Allah wanted to honor the Prophet honestly would surround
- 35:58him with his with the people that he loved in immediate form
- 36:02especially and that you know there's no impurity that can
- 36:05ever reach the in inbounds the the inner circle of value
- 36:08profit. And you know that connection?
- 36:10Sorry, I haven't. You know that connection between
- 36:12Rasol Allah and his headed Bates?
- 36:14Yeah. Was so great, so immense that if
- 36:17you open up Hadith al Kasar and you read, you know what took
- 36:21place and the words of for example, lah mohom lahmi or dem
- 36:25mohom Demi, you know things like this.
- 36:27Their bloods is rasul Allah saying my halil bait that that
- 36:32you know, You know when I say hold on to the Quran and my
- 36:35halil bait, these are my halil bait.
- 36:38Their blood is my blood. Their flesh is my flesh.
- 36:42What pleases them pleases me, what angers them angers me.
- 36:47What hurts them hurts me. You know I am at war with those
- 36:52who are at war with them. When when your prophet, my
- 36:55prophet Ahmed's prophet 1.3 was a 1.2 billion Muslims around the
- 37:00world. When your prophet says I am at
- 37:02war with those who are at war with my elder bait, Explain to
- 37:05me the beginning of Sarifa, the House of Fatima, the wars of
- 37:10Safin, the wars of German Karbala, Ashura.
- 37:14Well, I think I think every Muslim should should understand
- 37:18something that what Rasul Allah says hold on to my ail Bates.
- 37:22Hold on to them bro. Why ignore him?
- 37:24He said I leave behind the Quran and the ail bait.
- 37:28He didn't say I leave behind the Quran and Bukhari for example.
- 37:31Think about it. That's all I say.
- 37:33Well, I say with the open heart. I'm not here to like, make fun
- 37:36of other people because I genuinely believe being here on
- 37:39this podcast, I don't want to ever say I'm doing that way, but
- 37:42I think it's a fool of where we try to open people's minds and
- 37:47hearts. Where we're trying to.
- 37:48To the hack I. Said.
- 37:49And all along wants us all to be on hack and he says the hackers
- 37:53with the Ali Allah Allah. And Broda, I think that, you
- 37:58know, we mentioned this and I know I don't know if it's coming
- 38:01out probably by the time this releases the next day,
- 38:03inshallah. I think there's a podcast coming
- 38:05out on Jamaat Knights, but there's a point that's mentioned
- 38:08in that podcast about the the weight of hadith in the Shia
- 38:10school of thought way more than for example, other schools of
- 38:13thought. And the reason being is that our
- 38:14hadith were fact checked. The mass mass, mass majority of
- 38:18our hadith were fact checked by that.
- 38:19I'm a Muslim UNICEB and Abdul Ahman who wrote a book of
- 38:23hadith. One of the I'm I believe it
- 38:26might have been a mammoth qadam and E Salam.
- 38:29I may be wrong, but check that book and said to me Allah bless
- 38:33Eunice from cover to cover everything surely that's written
- 38:36is from my father's. He thinks upon a lot like that
- 38:38is just nuts like our hadith and our books.
- 38:42We believe hold gravitas. Do you know what I mean?
- 38:44There's actual there's a high chance of it being legitimate
- 38:49because they were recorded and written and fact checked at the
- 38:53time of yeah debate to them. Some who we believe are
- 38:55themselves could possess divine knowledge.
- 38:57And brother, these are narrations from the very own
- 38:59people that also Allah said hold on to, Yeah.
- 39:01Yeah, bro, it's like it's one and the same, isn't it?
- 39:03So she don't get me. So I think it's I think bro is
- 39:07loss for words, man. Charlotte, like our our ultimate
- 39:11goal, our aim is to make the Holy Prophet proud to be beside
- 39:14him, to follow in his footsteps. And I think bro, from a personal
- 39:18perspective, in the last maybe a week or two, my own dot R has
- 39:23been to try and find like clarity and conviction and more
- 39:27more. I don't say always more
- 39:29certainty, but just being 1,000,000% certain that I'm
- 39:36carrying in the right direction because we only have limited
- 39:39time with this earth bro. And the idea being is that like,
- 39:42I don't want to realise like five years down the line, my
- 39:44mentality is wrong. Like, OK, fine, I might be doing
- 39:47my Amal. And you know, Imam Jawad al
- 39:49Islam has this hadith where he says along the lines of I'm
- 39:52paraphrasing that it's it's there's no point tiring yourself
- 39:57out with physical rituals. I like.
- 40:00You know, Salah and this and that and fasting when your heart
- 40:03is not open to the truth. And it's important for us to
- 40:06remember that. Like, we may be doing the right
- 40:09things ritualistically, but if our heart is not open and if
- 40:14we're not intent on finding huck, we won't get it.
- 40:17So you get to pray and we have to research.
- 40:20And you know, you know, speaking about, you know, religion is not
- 40:23all about action. I think it's also about
- 40:26reflection. And very famous Rasulallah
- 40:29sallallahu alaihi wasallam. He says an hour of reflection is
- 40:37greater than or equal to 70 years of worship.
- 40:41Any brother, at the end of the day, our prophet, our beloved
- 40:45messenger, Rasulallah sallallahu alaihi wasallam saying use your
- 40:48Akon, use your brain. Allah gave us intellect, Allah
- 40:52gave us free will. And I think we need to maximise
- 40:56on that, that for example, let's reflect on what we're doing
- 41:00everyday. Let's reflect on what we read,
- 41:02let's reflect on what we say, what we want.
- 41:04You know, the same way we plan our financial gains, for
- 41:08example, the same way we plan our future, whether it's buying
- 41:11a house where there is improving ourselves in the workplace to
- 41:15excel in our career. The same thing has to be done
- 41:17with our religion, and not just through action, but from how we
- 41:20carry our. Those two things you mentioned,
- 41:23Akal in free will are the 2 greatest gifts that Allah has
- 41:27given in Sun and which separates us from the animals.
- 41:30You know what I mean? If we don't make the most of it
- 41:33or recognise that, then we're equal to animals.
- 41:35Basically. It's simple as that.
- 41:36And you give something to someone, they, they, you know
- 41:39what I mean? You might be homeless guy, if I
- 41:41give you keys to a house, but you don't use it, you're still
- 41:43homeless. Do you know what I mean?
- 41:44It's the exact same thing. So it's it's we've it's
- 41:47pointless. Otherwise.
- 41:48We've got gifts from Allah. We've got gifts upon gifts upon
- 41:50gifts. We have Akal and and reason to
- 41:52rationalise and to reflect and to use then our free will to do
- 41:58the right things and we don't. So Shalakhe, we'll get any
- 42:02notes, anything, anything at all that you want to sit after
- 42:05Michael abuse? Because I feel like there's
- 42:07bullet points in my mind. OK.
- 42:10It's off topic in on topic. Anything I want to say as in
- 42:13relating to? That on topic, off topic.
- 42:15Perfect. PFE, you go fast I.
- 42:19Just want to say I love you guys.
- 42:20You're the best in the world. I really appreciate it if you
- 42:23subscribe. We're trying to grow the
- 42:26channel. We're trying to keep it going.
- 42:29We're nearly at 10K. When we do 10K, we're going to
- 42:32do, we're going to do a world tour Jackie now.
- 42:37But that, that would be a great, I think a great achievement in
- 42:40Charlotte when we hit 10,000 subscribers, considering where
- 42:43we start. I remember when we hit 1000
- 42:44followers on Instagram, I remember how excited that was.
- 42:47We're now just below 40, right? On 40 Instagram 40 on TikTok yes
- 42:53that's nothing. 60% of viewers have subscribed 60.
- 42:58I think it's less than 60, you know, I have to check, but it's
- 43:02definitely not like a massive amount.
- 43:04Most people will watch, don't subscribe.
- 43:07But to those who do and those who are like we had their
- 43:10certain people who week in, week out have been messaging us for
- 43:12years, like with their feedback and with their reflections on
- 43:16each episode. I love those people.
- 43:18You are like, you are like about I think.
- 43:21I think we can call them like family, like literally the the
- 43:24audience that Al Hamdulai we have built through the Barakat
- 43:27and the blessings of Allah is that it keeps me in check.
- 43:31Ahmed, I'm not even joking. Yeah, 100.
- 43:33Percent and sometimes, like if they have a question, they
- 43:35engage and share like an opinion or a suggestion or perhaps, you
- 43:39know, allude to things that we possibly said incorrectly or,
- 43:43you know, tell us what we should discuss and things.
- 43:45And that's like makes me think, bro, there is so much in this
- 43:48world. Yeah, like there's a never ends
- 43:53Islam and religion and Iman and faith.
- 43:55And it makes your question like, for example, if we as Muslims,
- 43:59everyone can say Ilaha Allah, right?
- 44:02Everyone can, you know, say a shahada, Allah, Allah, Muhammad,
- 44:05raswallah and they can die and die a Muslim.
- 44:08But bro, we need to be dying as mutmaneen.
- 44:10We need to be dying as believers.
- 44:11And there's a difference that you can die on Islam or you can
- 44:15die on Iman. You know, last week Sadiq
- 44:17Salwani was talking about self help books.
- 44:20You don't need self help books. You've got to say I love.
- 44:23Yeah, not the way we should be. What we need The episode by love
- 44:27the money One Law was phenomenal.
- 44:28It's amazing. I learned so much and I either
- 44:31messaged them on WhatsApp and I was like, bro, you've made me
- 44:33question my life, purpose of life, you know?
- 44:36My sister messaged me. She was like, you know, you put
- 44:39that, that reel out, you guys saying that most people haven't
- 44:43found their purpose yet. She's like, I haven't have you
- 44:45found yours yet? I was like, leave me alone, bro.
- 44:50As I said the same thing. I told her I was like, we have
- 44:52to That episode is as all episodes are.
- 44:56It was it was really a catalyst. You know, there's been certain
- 44:58episodes over the like the whatever the last two years or
- 45:01so, which like really stand out to me as like I, they're deeply
- 45:05ingrained in my memory. Certain discussions we've had,
- 45:08certain guests we've had certain questions that have been asked
- 45:12or answers that have been given, which have shaped me as a
- 45:15person. Facts 100%.
- 45:18There's things that I remember, episodes I remember, which has
- 45:20shaped me as a person. And I don't think any of that
- 45:22would have come without you guys.
- 45:26So thank you. Like we are very privileged.
- 45:29We're very lucky. We're very honored.
- 45:30I think thanks to you. We've been honored to do some
- 45:32great work. We haven't actually mentioned on
- 45:34the podcast yet, but we came back obviously a few weeks ago
- 45:36now, but from the Zialet of Arbaeen, we had the opportunity
- 45:40to work with Atabal Abwasia, which of course is their
- 45:43greatest honour. I really believe to work with
- 45:46the Atabal in our field of like Shire Media is probably the
- 45:49highest it gets the. Custodians of the Shrine of An
- 45:51Abbas. Ascent yeah.
- 45:53And it's the highest honour you can get to work with the, any of
- 45:57the, the shrines and any of their media departments in our
- 46:01small little work in, you know, northwest London, in Shia media.
- 46:06It's a great honour. Obviously we, we're really
- 46:09grateful for that. So thank you everyone at home
- 46:11because you supported us. You've given us the opportunity
- 46:15to then put our work out and then serve.
- 46:18I always say thank you for trusting us and producing this
- 46:21content. And and I say that for one
- 46:24particular reason, Ahmed, and it's something I've been
- 46:26thinking about quite a lot is that, you know, there are, I'll
- 46:29handle many organisations within the Western world and the school
- 46:33of the albeit Alain Salaam, but many of them, if I can be real,
- 46:37they all have at times, perhaps agendas, at times, perhaps a
- 46:42narrative at times. You know, the thing I'm trying
- 46:47to say is that I think what after Mukharab is here about be
- 46:50at the podcast or Jumar Nights and Charlotte, all the upcoming
- 46:53shows that we produce here is that it's for every love of the
- 46:56Olympics. It's not for one particular, for
- 46:59one particular opinion, one particular viewpoint of life or
- 47:03whether you follow this guy or goes to this mosque.
- 47:07No, doesn't matter. And Sha la the Mahreb, that's
- 47:09what everyone who's a Muslim. Yeah, we don't.
- 47:12And. We are bro, like for those who
- 47:14don't know, and we said this before we say again, we're not
- 47:17funded by anyone, We're not paid by anyone.
- 47:20We're not funded by Allah, funded by Allah and with I think
- 47:25like we have to really ingrained in ourselves.
- 47:28And we're paid in the afterlife Charlotte.
- 47:30And we're just trying to do a head mark.
- 47:31And that's the important thing, Charlotte, I mean.
- 47:33We've had to so cheesy and we've had people, you know, obviously
- 47:39who've come on the podcast to have different points of view
- 47:43conference for communities and stuff.
- 47:45That's what's amazing is that we are all here together under the
- 47:48umbrella of, you know how we say humble Hussein.
- 47:52You know, the love of Hussein unites us, bro.
- 47:53The love of L Bates unites us. And that's that's something I
- 47:57think to be grateful for and thankful for.
- 47:59And I really hope, Ahmed, that we have the opportunity,
- 48:02Inshallah, to go to Medina. Go to.
- 48:07Go to Medina and visit, visit Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi.
- 48:11Want to send a message the number we and inshallah we have
- 48:13this shafa and then intercession which is for us Inshallah.
- 48:17Everyone listening out there. What else would you go to
- 48:19Medina? Tell me.
- 48:21Gentle Bucky bro, of course, especially we're talking about
- 48:24Mamja Pasan Nicholas now. I mean, we have to inshallah,
- 48:27you know, there's, there's a lot of a.
- 48:29Lot of all other animals are so oppressed.
- 48:31Not even that debate. I saw Allah himself.
- 48:34That would say, you know what? I saw Allah himself would say
- 48:37there hasn't been a prophet that's more oppressed than me.
- 48:41Yeah, yeah, Pro. Right now, Shallah, we leave
- 48:45these discussions for perhaps different episodes where we get
- 48:48into more detail about perhaps the oppression, the
- 48:51misinterpretation, the misinformation about us all,
- 48:54Allah. And I think it's a, you know,
- 48:56how similar, how Haram and stuff are we focused on like what was
- 48:59the Torahid of Imam and Hussein that sort of set the tone of all
- 49:03the episodes we did. I think there should be
- 49:05inshallah, something similar for us.
- 49:07Allah, Allah, Allah sick but forgive me, forgive everyone.
- 49:17Yes, Allah. Forgive you all honestly is your
- 49:21grandfather. No, no.
- 49:24The reason why I say forgive me, I think I've been like I've
- 49:26been. I've been no, no way you.
- 49:30Don't forgive me. I only forgive you if you
- 49:32forgive me. I don't forgive you because
- 49:34you're Hodges, are not to be on time.
- 49:38I'm not forgiving. I'm trying.
- 49:39I'm trying to predict when you're coming as an Iraqi so I
- 49:42can match you and be on time. With you, I know you tried to
- 49:43get her on time. I know.
- 49:45I know of her fact that you plan, I plan or lost the best of
- 49:47all. You know, I always what I tell
- 49:50you what I tell you who was who was the servant, the companion
- 49:53of B Fatima, right? What was she known for?
- 49:57Her tongue? Oh, she's focused.
- 49:59On. That's it, you know.
- 50:01What I. Mean you ask him anything I'm
- 50:04I'm far away from that bro how you feeling today he says that's
- 50:08how we speak all guys we live there shall we see next week
- 50:14hopefully take Kelsey then so Aliko after live.
