- 2:18Speaker 2: check in with the after hours voicemail. I know there's
- 2:22Speaker 2: a bunch of animal news. There is an abundance of
- 2:25Speaker 2: news when it comes to coyotes. It seems like everybody
- 2:28Speaker 2: has a story about coyotes.
- 2:30Speaker 4: A personal thing. I don't know, but I said, let's
- 2:33Speaker 4: do coyote news. So I have some stuff. Maybe we
- 2:36Speaker 4: can go through.
- 2:36Speaker 5: Let's do news everybody.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Talk about how okay? So that.
- 2:52Speaker 4: I used. What happened was the prompts. It just took
- 3:00Speaker 4: what I wrote in the prompt and then made a
- 3:02Speaker 4: song out of the prompt. And I'm just saying I wrote,
- 3:06Speaker 4: make a song about coyotes always being in the news.
- 3:09Speaker 4: In Trouble No Bass and Taking Over America talked.
- 3:18Speaker 2: About how coyote is a.
- 3:26Speaker 4: Patriot tells you exactly what it is. Yeah, explains it
- 3:30Speaker 4: all right, Cody News. Let's go the first story. The
- 3:33Speaker 4: first story is a man who was in his backyard
- 3:36Speaker 4: with his chihuahua. He was in South Carolina, and the
- 3:40Speaker 4: chihuahua ran after the coyote. And this is what happened.
- 3:44Speaker 6: He knew that unless he fought off the animal, Roxy
- 3:47Speaker 6: was a gonner. The animal fights back, biting snipes multiple times.
- 3:52Speaker 6: So he grabs the coyote by the tail, snipes, carries
- 3:57Speaker 6: him over to a garbage bin and drops him in
- 4:00Speaker 6: side like trash.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Well.
- 4:02Speaker 6: Look you can see the lid of the bin moving
- 4:05Speaker 6: as the coyote tries to escape.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Yeah. So this guy, this guy just ran after the
- 4:11Speaker 4: coyote attacking the shihuhala, grabs the tail and lifts it
- 4:15Speaker 4: up in the air and then the thing trash flame. Yeah,
- 4:18Speaker 4: and just dumps in the trash and then like sat
- 4:21Speaker 4: on the lid until the animal control came by and
- 4:25Speaker 4: picked it up.
- 4:25Speaker 2: And Roxy survived. And Roxy lived.
- 4:29Speaker 4: Now to keep Roxy saved this is what he's gonna do.
- 4:32Speaker 6: All right, Snipe is taking no chances. From now on,
- 4:36Speaker 6: Roxy will be wearing this spiky harness that will make
- 4:40Speaker 6: any coyote thing twice before trying to chomp down on
- 4:44Speaker 6: this feisty little goal.
- 4:47Speaker 5: Yeah, but it's ready for the gay bar now. Yeah.
- 4:49Speaker 3: So those horses are like they're like little plasticky rubber spikes. Yeah,
- 4:53Speaker 3: so if something tries to bite them, bike on the string.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Yeah you're talking about I thought we were talking to
- 4:57Speaker 2: those like a black leather cuffs to have like the
- 4:59Speaker 2: still No.
- 5:01Speaker 4: It's like that. Yeah, it's rubber eighties wrustler. Yeah, it's like, yeah,
- 5:06Speaker 4: it's very tall, spiky stuff.
- 5:08Speaker 7: Metal dogs in rural areas that are meant to wrangle
- 5:11Speaker 7: the sheep and keep them all together. They wear these
- 5:14Speaker 7: gigantic spiked collars to protect against wildlife.
- 5:16Speaker 2: I haven't seen the gigantic spike ones, you know, the
- 5:18Speaker 2: ones I'm talking about, Like they're like a little tiny, like.
- 5:21Speaker 8: Silver Yeah, like little punk collar do.
- 5:24Speaker 5: You wear back in the nineties.
- 5:26Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, it's a mixture of that. Yeah. Okay, cool,
- 5:29Speaker 4: So that is going to look good now. That happened
- 5:33Speaker 4: in South Carolina. But what's happening in Dallas. Well, let's
- 5:36Speaker 4: find out.
- 5:37Speaker 9: Authorities are investigating whether a vigilante is shooting coyotes in
- 5:40Speaker 9: a Dallas neighborhood.
- 5:42Speaker 10: Dallas Animal Services says it's investigating three coyote deaths since August,
- 5:46Speaker 10: two of them shot right now.
- 5:48Speaker 4: Authorities don't know who's doing it.
- 5:50Speaker 11: Emily Levine is still left disturbed at the dead coyote
- 5:54Speaker 11: found in her front yard last week.
- 5:56Speaker 6: People walk their dogs all times of day, there are
- 5:59Speaker 6: kids everywhere.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Don't bring that to our neighborhood.
- 6:03Speaker 2: It's too nice of a place for that.
- 6:04Speaker 4: Okay, yes, too nice to shoot coyotes up in here,
- 6:08Speaker 4: you know, Yeah, if you do. I mean apparently it
- 6:12Speaker 4: wasn't illegal though.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Just pick it up, yeah, shoot it, put it in
- 6:15Speaker 2: back through the trash, and let just leave it there
- 6:16Speaker 2: by the way. I was always surprised about how much
- 6:19Speaker 2: smaller coyotes are in real life, Yeah, compared to then
- 6:23Speaker 2: if you've never seen one and you just hear about
- 6:26Speaker 2: coyotes and what you're picturing like these giants, Yeah, almost
- 6:29Speaker 2: like a like a German shepherd, the very bigger, and
- 6:32Speaker 2: it's not they're like these big little scrawnye up forty pounds.
- 6:36Speaker 4: Yeah, you can kick them if you had to, if
- 6:40Speaker 4: you had to self defense. All right, met, this is
- 6:42Speaker 4: coyote now now coyotes in Philly. Yes, it's it's a
- 6:47Speaker 4: there's in Philly, in Philly. Get out.
- 6:49Speaker 12: Oh god, it's a sight Tamara totally never expected to
- 6:53Speaker 12: see near her home A.
- 6:54Speaker 8: For a rescue.
- 6:55Speaker 12: I thought the fire when it was really nice, I said,
- 6:57Speaker 12: almost a cute little fox, I said.
- 6:59Speaker 8: I was not a fox over this.
- 7:01Speaker 12: It was during the late night run for food Tuesday night.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, look at her.
- 7:05Speaker 12: That's a wolf, when she spotted what she later learned
- 7:07Speaker 12: was a coyote. It seems that coyotes are making themselves
- 7:10Speaker 12: more visible and more at home across many parts of
- 7:13Speaker 12: the Delaware Valley. Just this week, Marple Township police posted
- 7:16Speaker 12: a photo of this coyote they captured and relocated after
- 7:19Speaker 12: it snatched up a terrier dog and brought daylight.
- 7:21Speaker 2: No, no, now, fox, A fox is real, small way
- 7:27Speaker 2: smaller ye dinosaurs. She obviously didn't know it.
- 7:32Speaker 4: She was in all right, coyote news. Okay, not too
- 7:36Speaker 4: far away in Pittsburgh. They're noticing what I'm noticing that
- 7:41Speaker 4: there's all these damn coyotes coming out of nowhere.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Coyotes everywhere.
- 7:44Speaker 13: Well, the social media posts keep popping up, and so
- 7:47Speaker 13: do the coyotes.
- 7:48Speaker 2: But are more coyotes actually moving in or are we
- 7:51Speaker 2: just more aware of them? Yeah, we've all seen the
- 7:53Speaker 2: post saying there's so many coyotes out here because it's
- 7:56Speaker 2: mating season.
- 7:57Speaker 4: Hide your kids, hydra dogs.
- 7:59Speaker 13: Dude, sre It's our lowest point for any wildlife species,
- 8:02Speaker 13: coyotes included.
- 8:04Speaker 11: So coyotes might expand the range to find food, and
- 8:07Speaker 11: your neighbors could be committing a big no no that's
- 8:10Speaker 11: attracting them.
- 8:11Speaker 13: They leave that food out overnight for these critters, and
- 8:13Speaker 13: they're well intentioned, But every raccoon, every possum, every ratt
- 8:18Speaker 13: and mouse in the neighborhood is going to come to
- 8:19Speaker 13: that food source, the next predator of the lines of coyote.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm on the hide your kids, had your wife?
- 8:27Speaker 4: I check that out. So don't leave food out for animals,
- 8:32Speaker 4: is what they're saying. Coyote news, coyoti news. Now they
- 8:37Speaker 4: see it increase in. So does Las Vegas.
- 8:40Speaker 9: Now seeing more coyotes than ever before. We talked to
- 8:44Speaker 9: one homeowner who has lived in Calico Ridge for more
- 8:47Speaker 9: than two decades. On why they are now coyote proofing
- 8:51Speaker 9: their backyards.
- 8:52Speaker 14: Gail Smith is a lifetime dog lover for home decorated
- 8:56Speaker 14: with Schnauzer decorum for dog Roxy more than a few
- 9:00Speaker 14: steps behind her. But in July, it was her other
- 9:03Speaker 14: dog Bell that was snatched by a coyote. Here remains
- 9:07Speaker 14: found in a neighbor's yard later that day.
- 9:10Speaker 4: Yeah, how do you coyote proof your back fences?
- 9:14Speaker 2: Well, check this out. Oh, there's a whole special company
- 9:18Speaker 2: they'll do it.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Well, this is what she did.
- 9:20Speaker 14: Okay, Ultimately she paid fifteen thousand dollars, so every inch
- 9:24Speaker 14: of the block wall is blocked off with iron fencing.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Well she got what kind of decre she had, Snaunger,
- 9:33Speaker 2: and now the metal gates all. Yeah, fifteen thousand dollars
- 9:37Speaker 2: worth of fencing and the fencing looks super classic, which
- 9:40Speaker 2: is because coyotes can jump mega high jump. Now, I mean, Greg,
- 9:45Speaker 2: I mean, I mean, how tacky can you get if
- 9:47Speaker 2: you have like Schnauzer de core. They're just a small Okay,
- 9:52Speaker 2: let's just say, just for the sense of argument, sake
- 9:54Speaker 2: of argument, didn't you kinda like it? Wouldn't totally suck,
- 9:58Speaker 2: Like if a coyote got Schnauzer, it would suck.
- 10:02Speaker 7: It would Oh yeah, it would, but it wouldn't just
- 10:07Speaker 7: it wouldn't suck enough to destroy the Look at your backyard.
- 10:11Speaker 14: She paid fifteen thousand dollars so every inch of the
- 10:14Speaker 14: block wall is blocked off with iron fencing spikes on top.
- 10:19Speaker 14: Willing to pay and do whatever it takes to protect
- 10:23Speaker 14: her for babies.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Yeah, imagine that fence. I'm not a picture of the fence,
- 10:30Speaker 2: but it's got spikes and stuff on. Why don't you
- 10:35Speaker 2: have like bar the barbed wire exactly and do it
- 10:37Speaker 2: over the yard too.
- 10:38Speaker 4: Well, let's go back across the country to Florida, all right, Now,
- 10:43Speaker 4: where would you fly? Now? Where would you find coyotes
- 10:46Speaker 4: in Florida?
- 10:47Speaker 8: Where?
- 10:48Speaker 4: Well, let's find out, all right.
- 10:50Speaker 15: As cam Coral Walmart shoppers stunked up on groceries, one
- 10:54Speaker 15: coyote chose the parking lot as it's lunch spot and
- 10:58Speaker 15: duck as its main meal.
- 11:00Speaker 11: What's really striking about seeing this animal is the time of.
- 11:03Speaker 16: Day time A day for the photograph is actually maybe
- 11:07Speaker 16: the most surprising because when they are in urban areas,
- 11:11Speaker 16: they tend to avoid people.
- 11:13Speaker 11: If you see a coyote like this, the most important
- 11:15Speaker 11: thing to do is keep your distance.
- 11:18Speaker 17: Or really.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Eating a duck outside of a Walmart on So you know,
- 11:26Speaker 2: if you happen to see a wild animal like a coyote.
- 11:29Speaker 5: You don't walk up to it, you don't pay, you
- 11:31Speaker 5: don't pet it.
- 11:32Speaker 4: Oh yeah, really you don't do that. So what do
- 11:35Speaker 4: you think? Guys? Enough stories out there to have coyote news.
- 11:39Speaker 2: I'm gonna let the listeners aside one alight there, So
- 11:43Speaker 2: are you guys feeling coyote news? This is something Menace

- 13:40Speaker 4: Oh I love him. You know what I'm talking about?
- 13:42Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, So you can find him on Instagram at
- 13:45Speaker 2: mister Underscore Phil Lindsay Underscore sped so like special education,
- 13:53Speaker 2: so it's like Phil and then Lindsay altogether. But look
- 13:57Speaker 2: him up on Instagram.
- 13:59Speaker 4: Like a mullet, and he's like the cool teacher, No,
- 14:02Speaker 4: none of them all.
- 14:02Speaker 2: He's he's a he's got a beard, but he posts
- 14:06Speaker 2: all the time. The latest slang that the kids are
- 14:08Speaker 2: using in his class decodes and apparently because I've even
- 14:14Speaker 2: heard it from some other kids, like they don't like
- 14:16Speaker 2: this because it really is decoding for the parents who
- 14:19Speaker 2: don't know exactly what's going on and they know to
- 14:23Speaker 2: use it against them. I used clanker with my son
- 14:26Speaker 2: the other day. Do you know about the.
- 14:30Speaker 3: That's a term from a movie, right, Well, it's just
- 14:32Speaker 3: like Star Wars and the Droids, you know, the clanker,
- 14:36Speaker 3: Like there was like an insult between two.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Droids and like why you blah blah blah blah blah clanker.
- 14:40Speaker 4: That was one of the Star Wars movies.
- 14:42Speaker 5: So anyway, so.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Here is mister Lindsay and back to school time, and
- 14:46Speaker 2: already he has the most popular Words of the week.
- 14:49Speaker 19: Is a weekly update on the words that kids are
- 14:50Speaker 19: using most this week. Then I wrote down all the
- 14:53Speaker 19: words I heard most in the classroom this week. I
- 14:55Speaker 19: didn't know, are you hearing the same ones? Different ones?
- 14:57Speaker 19: Which one of these do you need me to define
- 15:00Speaker 19: for you? So coming in at number one, it is
- 15:02Speaker 19: a trending meme and the acronym is s d I
- 15:06Speaker 19: y b T.
- 15:07Speaker 4: You know what that is, uh, something to do with
- 15:11Speaker 4: like picking your butt?
- 15:12Speaker 2: All right. I brought in dumbass Tyler because I was
- 15:14Speaker 2: listening to this clip in the office and he knew
- 15:17Speaker 2: all of these. By the way, s T I why
- 15:21Speaker 2: d I y b T?
- 15:23Speaker 4: Something like digging in your butts for us?
- 15:26Speaker 2: Start digging in your butt twin?
- 15:28Speaker 19: Start yeah, yeah, but it's sands force start digging in
- 15:33Speaker 19: your butt twin and they sing it start digging in
- 15:35Speaker 19: your butt twin.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Yeah. So the phrase originated from an edited clip of
- 15:40Speaker 2: SpongeBob Square Parts, where this robot resembling SpongeBob tells Plankton
- 15:45Speaker 2: to start digging in your butt twin, making Plankton angry.
- 15:50Speaker 2: So when somebody says something that's been seen as like
- 15:52Speaker 2: naive or overly seriously or over just a little silly,
- 15:57Speaker 2: you start, hey, start digging in your butt twins, uses
- 15:59Speaker 2: like a lighthearted way to dismiss or poke fun at
- 16:03Speaker 2: their comment.
- 16:03Speaker 20: Okay, and SpongeBob like, I mean, I think I was
- 16:06Speaker 20: too old for that. But I was at a bar
- 16:08Speaker 20: mitzvah recently and at the party they started playing like
- 16:12Speaker 20: the SpongeBob.
- 16:12Speaker 8: Theme and everyone went crazy. So is that like a
- 16:15Speaker 8: thing sponge everything?
- 16:16Speaker 4: That's absolutely mass.
- 16:18Speaker 5: I don't know if SpongeBob ever went away.
- 16:19Speaker 8: Oh I didn't know. I mean I was too old
- 16:22Speaker 8: for it.
- 16:23Speaker 2: All right, So back to mister Lindsay, So s d
- 16:25Speaker 2: I y b t start digging in your butt twin
- 16:28Speaker 2: didn't see that comment, and it's just.
- 16:29Speaker 19: Something that they are repeating incessantly. Number two is chopped chopped.
- 16:35Speaker 4: Chopped chopped is.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Like ugly.
- 16:40Speaker 5: Yeah, it means that something was ruined, messed up, or.
- 16:44Speaker 4: Dead, or they've watched the TV show chopped on it
- 16:48Speaker 4: like those Oh.
- 16:48Speaker 8: That girl looks chopped today.
- 16:50Speaker 19: Number two is chopped. Everything is chopped right now. This
- 16:54Speaker 19: was high number one last week. It is still very
- 16:57Speaker 19: close and number two this week. Number three Aura is
- 17:00Speaker 19: making a comeback. I have heard more references to positive
- 17:03Speaker 19: aura and negative aura than I have in the last year,
- 17:07Speaker 19: so that one's making a comeback.
- 17:08Speaker 4: And then of course we have six seven.
- 17:10Speaker 19: Now it's starting to die down a little bit, but
- 17:12Speaker 19: unfortunately there's another number that's replacing it, which is forty one,
- 17:16Speaker 19: so that is also coming into life. The forty one
- 17:19Speaker 19: meme is starting to get in front of more kids.
- 17:22Speaker 4: And then we have some honorable mentions. What he's starting
- 17:25Speaker 4: any of these things?
- 17:25Speaker 2: Yeah, so aura, we knew that right, Yeah, some positive
- 17:28Speaker 2: or negative aura vibrats big seven. So that started with
- 17:32Speaker 2: a drill rap song. And it's a way to quickly
- 17:35Speaker 2: dismiss someone or something. Often means to abruptly leave or
- 17:39Speaker 2: reject someone, kind of like tell them to go away.
- 17:42Speaker 2: It's a way of dismissing someone or something, often used
- 17:45Speaker 2: like in a in a casual or playful way. You
- 17:47Speaker 2: want to give us an example, dumbas tyler, I guess,
- 17:49Speaker 2: like if you don't like something, just what was it
- 17:52Speaker 2: six seven out of.
- 17:53Speaker 21: The way, get it out of here, like eighty six. Yeah,
- 17:55Speaker 21: that's what I don't get. I don't get why you
- 17:57Speaker 21: wouldn't use eighty six, but you say it, but you
- 17:59Speaker 21: say it in a certain way.
- 17:59Speaker 2: You're just goes six seven, right, Yeah, that's what the
- 18:02Speaker 2: case said, like six seven, get out of here.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Six is for old people. So here's the origin. So
- 18:08Speaker 3: this is from again drill rapper Scrilla from his song
- 18:11Speaker 3: Dute Dute. He's representing sixty seventh Street in Chicago. D
- 18:18Speaker 3: bro better put put belt on right, they know behind
- 18:21Speaker 3: the way to switch bent. No, he dies six seven.
- 18:23Speaker 3: So I think that means like, if you're on sixty
- 18:25Speaker 3: seventh Street and you're not representing yourself, you're gonna get
- 18:28Speaker 3: popped by a cap.
- 18:30Speaker 5: Again to abruptly leave or reject someone.
- 18:32Speaker 20: Go away and one also started in a rap song
- 18:37Speaker 20: Lizzie Boy.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Yeah, so the artist says he's forty one years old
- 18:41Speaker 2: and has forty one of everything. So now kids are
- 18:43Speaker 2: using to talk about how much they have. I have
- 18:46Speaker 2: a lot of something like I have forty one.
- 18:48Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Also fun fact twenty century Mexico, the number forty one
- 18:52Speaker 2: became a negative and derogatory slang term referring to homosexual men.
- 18:57Speaker 2: So yeah, there you go, little cool fun fact. Yeah
- 19:02Speaker 2: all right, so back to uh, mister Lindsay.
- 19:04Speaker 4: Coming into life.
- 19:05Speaker 19: The forty one meme is starting to get in front
- 19:07Speaker 19: of more kids. And then we have some honorable mentions.
- 19:10Speaker 19: Chat crash out and op are still a regular part
- 19:13Speaker 19: of their daily vernacular. Let me know what you're hearing
- 19:16Speaker 19: in the comment.
- 19:18Speaker 8: Is saying chat chat chat is hilarious.
- 19:21Speaker 2: So I don't know why it's used as a term
- 19:23Speaker 2: of address to similar like you know.
- 19:26Speaker 4: Hey guys, or a dude, what's up?
- 19:27Speaker 2: Chat to refer to a group of people, or even
- 19:30Speaker 2: just like a single comes from streaming they're.
- 19:33Speaker 20: Pretending they're live streaming. Yeah, the kids are like.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Hate chat, can't even So could you swap that out
- 19:40Speaker 2: for fam? Yeah, so the way that people use hey fam. Yeah,
- 19:44Speaker 2: but all these hey chat, all these young kids are
- 19:46Speaker 2: watching stuff on kick and Twitch and then so there
- 19:50Speaker 2: the streamers are using chat to address all the people
- 19:52Speaker 2: in the chat. So the honorable mentions from mister Lindsay,
- 19:55Speaker 2: chat crash out, which we've heard before, yeah, just means
- 19:58Speaker 2: to act reckless or sell destructive, overreacting to something out
- 20:02Speaker 2: of it, either anger or something dumb like dude, dude
- 20:06Speaker 2: crashed out, Okay, like he just flicked freaked out, and
- 20:10Speaker 2: an OP it's your opposition opponent or opposition rivals, enemies
- 20:16Speaker 2: or anyone on the other side. That's an old one.
- 20:18Speaker 4: Yeah, he's the OPS, Like I'm going to.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Crash out on my OP chat.
- 20:21Speaker 4: That's what's gonna happen, dumb ass Tyler.
- 20:27Speaker 21: Yeah a yeah, some of these, I will admit I
- 20:30Speaker 21: do use a couple like the chat one is funny,
- 20:33Speaker 21: and I play enough video games with my friends to
- 20:35Speaker 21: whard we still all get its twelve and he has
- 20:38Speaker 21: four younger brothers. Yeah, I have five younger brothers and
- 20:41Speaker 21: you're still bald. So whatever the.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Text, someone said, the emphasis is on the seven and
- 20:48Speaker 2: six seven. Greg. Yeah, I'm taking notes feverishly.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Because this one all changed next week.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it'll change six nine.
- 21:00Speaker 16: Nice.
- 21:00Speaker 2: There are some kids who will tell you that you're
- 21:02Speaker 2: wrong about these and you don't have the right definition
- 21:05Speaker 2: of it, and that is a technique that they're using
- 21:07Speaker 2: to throw people off, because then you say to them,
- 21:11Speaker 2: you go, all right, well then what does it mean?
- 21:12Speaker 2: And they well they weren't prepared for the follow up
- 21:15Speaker 2: that smart, they'relating us. You're you're the one who's wrong. Yeah,
- 21:20Speaker 2: I do have this this other speaking of slang, and
- 21:23Speaker 2: I know, Seabas, you hate all this stuff well.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Because like I just said, and even the teacher just said,
- 21:27Speaker 3: it's it's it's week by week, so it's not meaningful.
- 21:31Speaker 3: It's just kids being stupid. Kids on God, Ye, gods
- 21:37Speaker 3: dead ass on God is what I hear a lot
- 21:40Speaker 3: on God, but some thing. But that's the problem is
- 21:43Speaker 3: that people everybody uses them immediately and they use them
- 21:45Speaker 3: all the time for everything.
- 21:47Speaker 5: My daughter still uses big bag a lot.
- 21:50Speaker 2: I do.
- 21:50Speaker 3: I do like that one because it's accurate and funny,
- 21:53Speaker 3: but I think it's.
- 21:53Speaker 5: More like my son. I don't hear him saying it,
- 21:56Speaker 5: but like my daughter.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Yeah, my daughter will use it. And then main character
- 21:59Speaker 2: energy is also thrown in there. But you see that
- 22:01Speaker 2: more online my household. Instead of big back, we say
- 22:04Speaker 2: torta torta yeah, fat sandwich. Okay, all right, he's not fast, Sam,
- 22:11Speaker 2: But anyway, I have on the other side, almost like
- 22:14Speaker 2: a way to support the argument for slang. This guy
- 22:19Speaker 2: made the speech to a bunch of kids and got
- 22:22Speaker 2: them to understand something the bigger point, the bigger picture
- 22:24Speaker 2: of something by using and pointing to slang yeah, like
- 22:30Speaker 2: the gen Z slang yeah, which we all have time
- 22:32Speaker 2: right now. I'm gonna take the break and then we'll
- 22:34Speaker 2: come back and I'll have that for you next. And
- 22:35Speaker 2: you can see, you can see a few agree with me.
- 22:37Speaker 2: If he if he made you know what I'm talking about,
- 22:38Speaker 2: because I yeah, yeah, even dumbass Tyler understood. He's like, dude,
- 22:44Speaker 2: this is what they should be doing to get these
- 22:46Speaker 2: kids to understand different things. Because they did. This guy
- 22:49Speaker 2: did a really good job of a painting the picture.
- 22:52Speaker 2: But I'll I'll play that for you next. You're on
- 22:54Speaker 2: the Woody Show. Hang on show.
- 22:59Speaker 5: All right, So here we go.
- 23:00Speaker 2: This is this guy Ari Smith, and he is a YouTuber.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Shamanasi I think is a it's a X.
- 23:12Speaker 4: I A O M A, but it's a.
- 23:14Speaker 2: It's it's putnounced shamanasi C n y C shaman n
- 23:19Speaker 2: y C assuming anyway, So he's a practicing polygot. So
- 23:26Speaker 2: those are polyglots. Forget forget everything I said.
- 23:32Speaker 4: He's a guy.
- 23:32Speaker 5: Yeah, he speaks a lot of languages fluently.
- 23:34Speaker 22: He's a polyglot a glot anyway, so they had him
- 23:38Speaker 22: dresses this nerdy professor, and he addressed to students at
- 23:42Speaker 22: Westown High School is in Westchester, Pennsylvania, and he delivered
- 23:46Speaker 22: a talk on the importance of learning languages entirely in
- 23:51Speaker 22: jen alpha slang.
- 23:53Speaker 2: So, in other words, like it's important to learn other
- 23:55Speaker 2: languages right the language week at the school.
- 23:59Speaker 5: And so he did this.
- 24:00Speaker 2: By explaining it to them using jen alphis lang. Let's
- 24:06Speaker 2: see how much of this greg gory actually I can
- 24:07Speaker 2: understand here.
- 24:08Speaker 17: Yet I'm going to deliver the rest of this speech
- 24:10Speaker 17: in your very own native tongue. It's low key a
- 24:13Speaker 17: huge w to be vibing here at Westbound High School
- 24:16Speaker 17: for language this week.
- 24:19Speaker 4: Who Chad, let's walk in or pay prepare.
- 24:24Speaker 17: Now, I know it's getting d lulu for this is
- 24:26Speaker 17: shoogie to speak in such skinny brain rod, But if
- 24:31Speaker 17: feel better with me, I'll put the fries in the
- 24:34Speaker 17: bag in Jeff.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Is said, I do actually have a message year no cap.
- 24:42Speaker 13: I was dead as pressed about understanding this.
- 24:45Speaker 17: Language, but I had to absorb the drip so I
- 24:48Speaker 17: wouldn't get aired by your generation. High key people think
- 24:53Speaker 17: jen alpha slang is just memes and brain rod, but
- 24:56Speaker 17: on God, it's giving a linguistic glove core happening irls.
- 25:01Speaker 17: Every time you drop a yacht or a hiding you
- 25:06Speaker 17: are legit patching the English language DLC with fresh updates,
- 25:10Speaker 17: literally shifting the English meta language evolves because you're constantly
- 25:16Speaker 17: cooking new.
- 25:16Speaker 4: Ways to pass the bye check.
- 25:18Speaker 17: And honestly, your memes today finite hit as the textbook
- 25:22Speaker 17: vocab of tomorrow, that is, and this is exactly why
- 25:27Speaker 17: learning languages hits different. Just like how your casual pooky
- 25:32Speaker 17: talk could soon be the dictionary definition, picking up another
- 25:35Speaker 17: language gives you front row seats to how people around
- 25:38Speaker 17: the world give the deeds. It's like unlocking infinite drip,
- 25:43Speaker 17: allowing you to catch doves across cultures, connect deeper with
- 25:47Speaker 17: the squad, and stand new perspectives that would otherwise leave
- 25:51Speaker 17: you ghosted. Languages aren't just sus grammar rules spam. They're
- 25:57Speaker 17: the ultimate riz for becoming a real one. Every Where
- 26:00Speaker 17: you pull up it's the gigachad energy for me. So
- 26:06Speaker 17: knowing languages isn't mid, but it's not just a flex either.
- 26:11Speaker 2: It's an infinite money glitch that slaps.
- 26:15Speaker 17: People Finna get pressed, saying languages are chopped or too hard.
- 26:19Speaker 17: Don't listen, Bestie, they're just salty because their language game
- 26:23Speaker 17: is dog water. Being multi lingual is o D letting
- 26:29Speaker 17: you stand culture's vibe with international fam and utterly mob
- 26:34Speaker 17: your career. No cap speaking another language lets you go off,
- 26:39Speaker 17: turning you into an absolute conversational wrizzlord.
- 26:43Speaker 4: So yet, Chad, that's the sauce.
- 26:46Speaker 17: Keep cooking, stay goaded, never be mid and fr study
- 26:51Speaker 17: hard and go riz up that knowledge.
- 26:55Speaker 2: So he had them by the end, making a point
- 26:59Speaker 2: of why it would be important to maybe understand other
- 27:02Speaker 2: language culture that other generations don't necessarily understand.
- 27:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I thought it was pretty cool.
- 27:08Speaker 8: That was funny, Woody Show.
- 27:13Speaker 2: We are into another new hour of insensitivity training for
- 27:17Speaker 2: a politically correct world. Yeah, we got some after hours
- 27:21Speaker 2: voicemails we could share here for you. We've also got
- 27:25Speaker 2: a couple of emails I would like to I would
- 27:28Speaker 2: like to bring up okay cool, here's an after hours
- 27:32Speaker 2: voicemail that came into eight seven seven forty four Woodie.
- 27:34Speaker 10: God damn it, Sammy, I love you. You're aw some
- 27:38Speaker 10: on the show. I don't know what the hell are
- 27:40Speaker 10: you fall man. You're a good looking girl. Je's christ
- 27:44Speaker 10: even your crochet and stuff, I can get you. You're
- 27:47Speaker 10: not that you just you are all around about just
- 27:53Speaker 10: something that the guy would want. But I just listened
- 27:56Speaker 10: to a podcast. You freaking not if you struggling to eat
- 28:00Speaker 10: two pieces of bacon, I hope you're never going to
- 28:04Speaker 10: find a goddamn man a lesbian. And I'm saying this
- 28:10Speaker 10: as a helpful tip because if I wasn't Mary, I
- 28:15Speaker 10: try to hit on you. I really would, even though
- 28:18Speaker 10: you and your freaking bacon, whatever the hell your phobia
- 28:22Speaker 10: is about it, But oh jeesus, man, just trying to
- 28:26Speaker 10: work on it. Please, God will be so much better.
- 28:30Speaker 10: Love you guys, oh y'all, including Sammy.
- 28:35Speaker 2: All right.
- 28:37Speaker 23: I was wondering where he was going with that, and
- 28:39Speaker 23: I mean, I appreciate it.
- 28:40Speaker 11: I guess I'll look into that.
- 28:42Speaker 4: Yeah, I agree with the sentiments under everyone's very concerned
- 28:45Speaker 4: with your love life, Sammy.
- 28:46Speaker 11: Well, apparently hate of bacon to be lonely.
- 28:50Speaker 8: You know that's why you're not with a man.
- 28:52Speaker 11: Right, No, yeah, that is yeah, thank you for pointing
- 28:55Speaker 11: that out.
- 28:56Speaker 2: I was wondering, Sammy eight four Woodie. I guess this
- 29:03Speaker 2: person was going through the podcast. We were talking about
- 29:05Speaker 2: what's the pettiest thing you've done? Oh yeah, you know,
- 29:07Speaker 2: because we enjoyed pettiest that's funny.
- 29:10Speaker 5: Yeah, And so we got this after hours voicemail on that.
- 29:12Speaker 16: Hey, what's up, guys, I was calling for the petty story.
- 29:16Speaker 16: My ex girlfriend cheated on me with one of my
- 29:18Speaker 16: best friends. This was like when I was eighteen years old.
- 29:22Speaker 16: Long story short. I found out from her friends that
- 29:25Speaker 16: this happened. So that night, I went with two of
- 29:28Speaker 16: her friends to my friend's brand new truck, took a
- 29:32Speaker 16: dump in the back of his truck, wiped my ass,
- 29:34Speaker 16: and then I wiped it on his door handles, peed
- 29:37Speaker 16: all over his windshields, egged it, and I threw baloney
- 29:41Speaker 16: all over his truck. That's my petty story.
- 29:45Speaker 2: All right, he wins. Well, we just had that story
- 29:49Speaker 2: about the girl that was Matt. She said she was
- 29:51Speaker 2: just agitated from being pregnant. I guess. And the glitter
- 29:54Speaker 2: and total twelve thousand dollars worth of damage or something.
- 29:59Speaker 7: I wouldn't even file this under petty I would find
- 30:01Speaker 7: it just under plane vandalism.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:03Speaker 4: Yeah, but it also is outside of the car not
- 30:06Speaker 4: really a big deal to holds it off.
- 30:08Speaker 8: Well, you said both right.
- 30:10Speaker 2: After hours voicemail.
- 30:14Speaker 5: Woody.
- 30:14Speaker 24: Yeah, Hey, this messages for Woody. I heard you talking
- 30:18Speaker 24: about the smoker more than once, and I'm just telling
- 30:21Speaker 24: you it's kind of a waste of time. It's fun
- 30:23Speaker 24: at first. I got a huge, like Texas style restaurant smoker,
- 30:28Speaker 24: and it was fun.
- 30:30Speaker 10: It was for like the first year, and.
- 30:31Speaker 24: Then now it just sits in my backyard and I
- 30:34Speaker 24: have a cover over it and it just sits there.
- 30:36Speaker 24: You get tired of that smoky taste after a while.
- 30:39Speaker 24: Like I said, the first year, you'll smoke everything. You'll
- 30:42Speaker 24: smoke peppers, cheese, ribs, everything, and then that smell starts
- 30:47Speaker 24: to bother. Yet it makes you want a puke to
- 30:49Speaker 24: where you can't even stand it anymore.
- 30:51Speaker 2: So think about it.
- 30:52Speaker 24: Maybe when you want to smoke something or you want
- 30:54Speaker 24: to eat something smoke, just go to a nice barbecue place.
- 30:57Speaker 24: That's it, man, love the show, all right?
- 30:59Speaker 2: Thanks man?
- 31:00Speaker 8: Tip, Yeah, you get burned out on that. It's the best.
- 31:03Speaker 2: I think too much of any thing an one thing, right,
- 31:06Speaker 2: you can you can overdo it.
- 31:07Speaker 4: You become addicted and then.
- 31:09Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, I got something for Greg that that
- 31:12Speaker 2: came in.
- 31:13Speaker 5: It's an email. They want you to rate their reno. Oh,
- 31:18Speaker 5: they did a.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Renovation, and I'm gonna post I'm gonna post the photos
- 31:22Speaker 2: too on our Instagram and that way you guys can
- 31:24Speaker 2: see and you can also rate their reno. Awesome. It's
- 31:28Speaker 2: kind of like rate or judge my baby because it's
- 31:31Speaker 2: from a listener and she wants to know how they did. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:35Speaker 2: all right, so that'll be next year on The Woody
- 31:36Speaker 2: Show eight seven seven forty four. What he text us
- 31:39Speaker 2: over to two to nine eight seven A bit?
- 31:44Speaker 4: Who am I the Woody Show? All right?
- 31:48Speaker 2: So you know we do judge my baby here on
- 31:52Speaker 2: the show where listeners send in pictures of their kid
- 31:55Speaker 2: because they don't want to be going around showing off
- 31:57Speaker 2: pictures of their kid if their kids really ugly and
- 31:59Speaker 2: they don't realize it, right, So it's a public service
- 32:01Speaker 2: that we offer. And so we got this other email.
- 32:05Speaker 2: This is from Kelsey who sends us an email. It says,
- 32:08Speaker 2: dear Woody Show, we recently had a leak in our
- 32:11Speaker 2: master Oh I'm sorry, primary bathroom. Yeah. If you watch
- 32:15Speaker 2: hgv TV now, they don't say master bedroom they say
- 32:19Speaker 2: primary because you know, on a slavery sometimes that's what
- 32:23Speaker 2: everybody was thinking.
- 32:25Speaker 5: Anyway, So leak in.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Our primary bathroom that dripped into our living room downstairs.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Long story short, we decided to remodel the whole bathroom
- 32:32Speaker 2: instead of just fix the leaking shower. Please rate my renovation.
- 32:36Speaker 2: Be really interested to get Greg's opinion on this. Old
- 32:39Speaker 2: bathroom had a big tub that we never used to
- 32:42Speaker 2: shower stall, no privacy for the toilet, ugly tile. Yeah, so,
- 32:48Speaker 2: and they hadn't chose they didn't choose any of that,
- 32:50Speaker 2: but they have the pictures that they send over. If
- 32:53Speaker 2: you want to see, it's on our instagram right now.
- 32:56Speaker 2: You can go there at the Woody Show. You'll see
- 32:58Speaker 2: it's our most recent post, says rate my renovation. Then
- 33:01Speaker 2: you can go through. So the first one is the
- 33:03Speaker 2: original shower stall, and then the next picture would be
- 33:07Speaker 2: what the shower looks like now it's a big walk
- 33:08Speaker 2: in shower and and yes, your feedback and you can
- 33:12Speaker 2: take well, you could take a look at it. And
- 33:14Speaker 2: then while Greg's taking a look at that, I have
- 33:18Speaker 2: another thing here. An interior designer, his name is Nicholas Fairford.
- 33:23Speaker 2: So these are his five ugly things that you shouldn't
- 33:26Speaker 2: have in your home, but you probably do. And again,
- 33:28Speaker 2: a lot of people think the list is ridiculous, But
- 33:30Speaker 2: let's see what you think. Agreer disagree, and then you
- 33:33Speaker 2: know we can get Greg's opinion on the renovation from
- 33:36Speaker 2: the listener. Again, you could see it on our Instagram
- 33:38Speaker 2: right now at the Woody Show. But here's here's Nicholas.
- 33:41Speaker 18: Number one a TV. Everybody places their furniture to face
- 33:44Speaker 18: that ugly black box, and I don't want it in
- 33:47Speaker 18: my house to disturb the beauty. Number two a microwave
- 33:50Speaker 18: similar to the TV. I'm somebody who cooks every day
- 33:53Speaker 18: and I never need to use a microwave. Three is
- 33:56Speaker 18: laundry drying all over the house. It just kills the vibe.
- 33:59Speaker 18: Four is overhead lighting. It makes everybody look a lot
- 34:02Speaker 18: less attractive. The best thing to do is have lamps
- 34:05Speaker 18: all around the room. Five is unused candles. They're light
- 34:08Speaker 18: them just for an hour or so. It looks used.
- 34:10Speaker 18: It looks a lot better, all right.
- 34:11Speaker 5: So let's go down the list, gregor do you agree
- 34:13Speaker 5: or disagree?
- 34:14Speaker 7: I agree, TV totally disagree. I mean I get what
- 34:18Speaker 7: he His point is it's not attractive per se, but
- 34:22Speaker 7: how are you going to live with that?
- 34:24Speaker 4: So I have a family member that builds luxury homes
- 34:27Speaker 4: from the ground up. She's very anti TV, but I mean,
- 34:31Speaker 4: but her client, her clients want them.
- 34:33Speaker 20: Of course, people are watching shows, what about the ones
- 34:36Speaker 20: that show the artwork?
- 34:37Speaker 2: So it's like, oh, is that the frame? The Samsung frame?
- 34:40Speaker 2: Those are very We've got a couple of those. That's
- 34:43Speaker 2: but you'd rather have like things that keep them hidden.
- 34:46Speaker 2: And then they I mean ultimately, yes, I guess what
- 34:49Speaker 2: they're talking about. Like he's more talking about how like
- 34:51Speaker 2: the whole room than is like focused. Yeah, it's like
- 34:54Speaker 2: that's the center of the room. Yeah, you know, as
- 34:57Speaker 2: opposed to it's there like if you want to watch
- 34:59Speaker 2: it or whatever, but the the whole room doesn't revolve
- 35:01Speaker 2: around the TV. I disagree with that one microwave disagree
- 35:05Speaker 2: I mean again with nothing's wrong with the microwave.
- 35:08Speaker 24: Number three.
- 35:09Speaker 5: I know you agree with laundry drying all of the house.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Who would do that?
- 35:13Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 35:14Speaker 7: Overhead lighting, one hundred percent agree, And that, I will
- 35:19Speaker 7: say is a gay cliche. Gay's love lamps and they
- 35:23Speaker 7: hate right overhead lighting, And I totally agree with that one.
- 35:27Speaker 7: No overhead lights, Okay, awful.
- 35:29Speaker 2: And then what about unused candles, Like somebody went out
- 35:32Speaker 2: and bought a bunch of candles. They're they're not burned
- 35:34Speaker 2: like they're they're brand new, but they're they're like sitting
- 35:37Speaker 2: out around the house and they're just unburned. Yeah, I
- 35:39Speaker 2: kind of agree with that.
- 35:41Speaker 4: They look kind of odd.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Yeah, just light a few times. That goes with anything
- 35:46Speaker 2: that you have that has like words on it on
- 35:48Speaker 2: a sign either and says it has no place in
- 35:52Speaker 2: your home, the kitchens, a sign that says, yeah, take
- 35:57Speaker 2: a look at the at the renovation that was done.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Kelsey sent us the email, and then take a look
- 36:03Speaker 2: at it. And then what we want you to do
- 36:04Speaker 2: is go on our Instagram, look at those photos and
- 36:07Speaker 2: then rate their reno. We help, we're helping them out.
- 36:11Speaker 2: You may not care about this at all, don't look,
- 36:13Speaker 2: but we're trying to help out another listener here. They're
- 36:15Speaker 2: helping us. They listen, and so we're gonna return the favor.
- 36:18Speaker 2: And I look, the HGTV stuff is super popular. I
- 36:21Speaker 2: know you guys like looking. You want to look at
- 36:23Speaker 2: other people's windows when you're walking through the neighborhood. We
- 36:26Speaker 2: know your nosy pricks, So go ahead and take a
- 36:29Speaker 2: look at the photos and then give us your thoughts
- 36:31Speaker 2: on our Instagram right now at the Woody Show check
- 36:33Speaker 2: it out, and then we'll get Greg's thoughts, his official thoughts,
- 36:36Speaker 2: because Greg is very picky. I forget what he said
- 36:39Speaker 2: the other day that you guys were talking about some
- 36:44Speaker 2: kind of thing, uh, a renovation, and you said, like people, Oh,
- 36:50Speaker 2: I know what it was. Gina was asking about barn
- 36:52Speaker 2: doors doors.
- 36:53Speaker 8: Yeah, so where do they belong.
- 36:57Speaker 4: They think about that a lot.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Yeah, super popular they are.
- 37:01Speaker 8: I should not have a choice.
- 37:03Speaker 2: I mean my wife and I we have one set
- 37:05Speaker 2: in our master I'm sorry, primary bedroom, and I know why.
- 37:08Speaker 8: Because none of those houses were bill doors.
- 37:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:11Speaker 2: Like so we have like a big master bath, primary bath,
- 37:16Speaker 2: but there's no Yeah, it's a big arched entrance to it.
- 37:20Speaker 2: And when I get up in the middle of the
- 37:21Speaker 2: night before I come into work, I can't do anything.
- 37:23Speaker 2: And so we put these like barn doors on there.
- 37:26Speaker 2: I think it looks good. I like it, like Greg
- 37:27Speaker 2: would make that choice, but I do like the look.
- 37:29Speaker 4: In the style of like a sliding barn door.
- 37:32Speaker 2: Yeah, it's from either side. They kind of pull and
- 37:35Speaker 2: close together and there like a track on this it's
- 37:39Speaker 2: a black wrought iron track, and then it's like darker
- 37:42Speaker 2: gray doors with a like dark metal like.
- 37:45Speaker 8: I just want the one door that's literally a barn door.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Yeah. So check check out our listeners renovation on our
- 37:53Speaker 2: Instagram right now, and then we'll get Greg's official thoughts
- 37:55Speaker 2: next year on The Woody Show. Hang on.
- 37:59Speaker 4: Hit far Instagram.
- 38:01Speaker 2: It's pinned right to the top of our page.
- 38:04Speaker 4: You can see.
- 38:04Speaker 5: It's a much like.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Judge My Baby, the emails that we get from listeners
- 38:08Speaker 2: asking us take a look at their kid, and hey,
- 38:10Speaker 2: please help me figure out what we're showing around pictures
- 38:13Speaker 2: of an ugly baby.
- 38:13Speaker 5: Just don't realize that.
- 38:16Speaker 2: Nobody dislikes their own brand, you know exactly.
- 38:19Speaker 4: Yeah, So at the Woodie Show you can see it there.
- 38:21Speaker 2: It's our listener. Kelsey said they had a leak in
- 38:24Speaker 2: their primary bathroom dripped down to the living room, so
- 38:27Speaker 2: rather than just fix the leak in the shower, they
- 38:30Speaker 2: decided to rent it me the bathroom wanted to get
- 38:33Speaker 2: Greg's opinion on it. Greg has an expert eye when
- 38:36Speaker 2: it comes to these things, so he likes to believe.
- 38:38Speaker 4: We predict, Yeah, can we predict what he's gonna say? Sure,
- 38:42Speaker 4: I predict that. You're gonna say that patterns are too busy.
- 38:45Speaker 4: There's there there's too many different patterns.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Yeah, you're not wrong.
- 38:50Speaker 20: I'm going to predict there's one key element that's screwing
- 38:54Speaker 20: everything up. And I don't want to give away which
- 38:56Speaker 20: one it is, but element well, well, say overall, the
- 39:02Speaker 20: floor is really killing the vibe.
- 39:05Speaker 2: Wait, the floor in the bathroom itself to the shower.
- 39:09Speaker 20: Well, I think if there was a more plain piece
- 39:13Speaker 20: in the middle, you know, for the floor, it would
- 39:14Speaker 20: make more sense.
- 39:15Speaker 2: I like the floor of the shower, it's kind of
- 39:17Speaker 2: like this uh, pebble rock kind of thing because it's darker.
- 39:20Speaker 2: It's more like in the grays and the blacks. It's
- 39:23Speaker 2: going to be easier to cover up any kind of dirt.
- 39:24Speaker 2: So if you don't like to clean, you know what
- 39:26Speaker 2: I mean, Like, it's not going to look as dirty
- 39:29Speaker 2: as fast as some of the other things that you
- 39:30Speaker 2: could put down in there.
- 39:32Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 39:32Speaker 7: I don't mind that, especially for a shower. I don't
- 39:34Speaker 7: mind has that look. It's supposed to look like river rock,
- 39:36Speaker 7: but it's actually like what they used to call it
- 39:39Speaker 7: penny round. This is more like quarter round that and
- 39:43Speaker 7: I don't.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Let's listen to Greg get really gay here.
- 39:47Speaker 7: Okay, ready, okay, So build, burn, build, right? Is that
- 39:50Speaker 7: how they're saying, that's what manager are supposed to do. So, hey,
- 39:52Speaker 7: we've called you in here. First of all, I think
- 39:54Speaker 7: they last week you did a great job on that presentation.
- 39:57Speaker 7: I did want to talk to you though about blah
- 39:58Speaker 7: blah blah blah blah, and yeah that's where they burn
- 40:00Speaker 7: and then they build you back up. But hey, you
- 40:02Speaker 7: know what, again, great job in the presentation last week. Also,
- 40:05Speaker 7: I meant to tell you that I got a really
- 40:07Speaker 7: nice compliment from so and so on sales about how
- 40:09Speaker 7: and then that's wrapped up and then that's comp Yes, exactly,
- 40:13Speaker 7: So kudo's on doing the renovation. That's awesome. I totally support.
- 40:18Speaker 7: And you know, a real estate agent would say, don't
- 40:20Speaker 7: get rid of a bathtub because people like it for
- 40:23Speaker 7: their kids. I support that. Who needs a bathtub? Shower
- 40:26Speaker 7: way better idea. I love that it's a walk in
- 40:29Speaker 7: without a door or a curtain. I have one of
- 40:31Speaker 7: those at home. I love it. I know some people
- 40:33Speaker 7: in the comments say they don't like that. But here's
- 40:36Speaker 7: the issue that I have. The floor. You're completely right,
- 40:40Speaker 7: menace it. I call that Christina tile from Christina on
- 40:44Speaker 7: the Coast. She popularized. Its way too busy.
- 40:49Speaker 8: The shower of the floor, the floor floor of.
- 40:52Speaker 7: The main floor, the star shapes. It's it's kind of retro,
- 40:56Speaker 7: and I understand it's very popular. But something more muted,
- 40:59Speaker 7: more new troll would have been more long lasting. This
- 41:02Speaker 7: is something that you're going to get tired of in
- 41:03Speaker 7: about a year.
- 41:05Speaker 5: Uh.
- 41:05Speaker 7: The sconces over the mirrors. I would have done something
- 41:11Speaker 7: a little less bulbous, a little less bright. I would
- 41:14Speaker 7: have done upright sconces flanking each mirror instead, countertop. Not bad,
- 41:20Speaker 7: I like it. What gives me Odjita is that these
- 41:24Speaker 7: sinks are off kilter. I know that's not your fault.
- 41:27Speaker 7: That wasn't your choice. But you can see the counter
- 41:29Speaker 7: to the right of the right hand sink is much
- 41:32Speaker 7: deeper than the counter to the left of the left
- 41:34Speaker 7: hand sink. It looks askew.
- 41:37Speaker 2: There's more space to the right of the sink on
- 41:40Speaker 2: the right exactly, and there is space to the left
- 41:43Speaker 2: of the sink on the left.
- 41:44Speaker 8: And don't get Greg Starr on the outlet.
- 41:45Speaker 11: I know it's off center, clearly.
- 41:47Speaker 5: One of the left is the husband's counter.
- 41:49Speaker 4: And I know you're of gold fixtures. Is that that's more?
- 41:53Speaker 13: You know?
- 41:55Speaker 7: I'm kind of coming around on the gold fixtures that's brushed.
- 41:59Speaker 7: It's not I hate it shiny.
- 42:01Speaker 2: I don't hate it. I hate those gold or whatever
- 42:03Speaker 2: they call those fixtures. It looks so tacky in eighties
- 42:06Speaker 2: to me if it's shiny, but these look a little
- 42:09Speaker 2: bit more muted. Like this comment on the instagram, how
- 42:12Speaker 2: much to fire the contractor?
- 42:13Speaker 5: Oh that's nice.
- 42:15Speaker 7: The workmanship looks fine. Yeah, it does as far as
- 42:18Speaker 7: the shower goes. I agree that they should have replaced
- 42:22Speaker 7: that before tile. It's gray and drab. But the tile
- 42:24Speaker 7: they chose isn't terrible. I'm not a fan of that
- 42:28Speaker 7: green border tile. I don't get it. It just doesn't work.
- 42:32Speaker 7: It doesn't make sense. And I'm not, unlike Woody, a
- 42:35Speaker 7: fan of the floor. I don't like those tiles at all.
- 42:39Speaker 7: If you're going to go for a river rock, look,
- 42:41Speaker 7: you should have just used river rock.
- 42:43Speaker 5: So what are you giving the overall renovation? Greg raat
- 42:45Speaker 5: this renna, I'm gonna give it A six. A six, Yeah,
- 42:49Speaker 5: that's better than I thought you were to give it.
- 42:50Speaker 7: Yeah, I was gonna go five, but I know you
- 42:52Speaker 7: guys hate it when I judge things of five. Yeah,
- 42:55Speaker 7: maybe maybe a fan, let's go five point five.
- 42:58Speaker 4: I say the quick fixes are get rid of the flooring.
- 43:02Speaker 5: Well that's not a quick fix. That's a brand new renovation.
- 43:07Speaker 4: Isn't that the easy fix to kind of like clean
- 43:10Speaker 4: it up a little bit? The floor?
- 43:11Speaker 7: Go with the floor first, Perhaps, I think counters might
- 43:15Speaker 7: be easier than a floor.
- 43:16Speaker 2: Really, floor is a big deal. Yeah, especially good you
- 43:20Speaker 2: got a jackhammer that out. Yeah. So here's the thing
- 43:23Speaker 2: when it comes to any renovation. I always tell people
- 43:25Speaker 2: when they hey, what do you think you're asking for
- 43:27Speaker 2: my opinion? Which I will give you, but it's how
- 43:29Speaker 2: I would do it in my home. You have a
- 43:32Speaker 2: completely different set of style, taste, whatever you like. I
- 43:35Speaker 2: tell everybody, make your house the way that you want it.
- 43:39Speaker 2: You're the one that lives there. Sure, Now, if you're
- 43:41Speaker 2: looking for advice on you know, hey, because I'm only
- 43:43Speaker 2: going to be here for a few years for resale
- 43:46Speaker 2: for whatever. But if you're just planning on being in
- 43:48Speaker 2: this house, even if for five plus years. I have
- 43:51Speaker 2: just do whatever it is that you think you like,
- 43:53Speaker 2: and who cares for anybody else? Like, you're the one
- 43:55Speaker 2: has to live with it. You're the one has to
- 43:56Speaker 2: be happy in your own home. Yeah, So you know,
- 43:59Speaker 2: I think I think what it is they're they're proud
- 44:01Speaker 2: of this renovation, right, they like it. They're looking for
- 44:04Speaker 2: great to maybe reinforce what they're already feeling. But yeah,
- 44:08Speaker 2: I kind of had a feeling that it was dangerous.
- 44:09Speaker 7: But yeah, and if you can try to stay timeless
- 44:13Speaker 7: and classic, don't go with trendy like I see some
- 44:15Speaker 7: ship lap I see the Christina floors. Those are very
- 44:18Speaker 7: trendy right now, you're gonna get tired of them.
- 44:21Speaker 2: All right, Well, check it out and you can, uh,
- 44:23Speaker 2: you can give us your opinion to help Kelsey out.
- 44:25Speaker 2: Thank you, Kelsey. I think I don't know if you
- 44:28Speaker 2: regret it, it's too late, Kelsey. Check it out. It's
- 44:30Speaker 2: on our Instagram at the Woody Show more wood he
- 44:33Speaker 2: showed next.
- 44:33Speaker 19: Hang on.
- 44:37Speaker 2: And we're into another new hour, insensitivity training for a
- 44:40Speaker 2: politically correct world. My name is Whatoy. That's great gory.
- 44:43Speaker 2: Hi Menace is right there is. We've got gena grad
- 44:47Speaker 2: Hey there. So Stammy is always good for a random question,
- 44:50Speaker 2: as is Morgan. Morgan always has a couple of good
- 44:52Speaker 2: random questions, like I remember, okay, so you had you
- 44:56Speaker 2: had one recently about peanut butter.
- 44:57Speaker 5: You bought peanut butter and the.
- 44:59Speaker 23: Sea this seal is Yeah, it always says, you know,
- 45:03Speaker 23: don't use this if the seal is broken.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Correct.
- 45:05Speaker 23: And when I opened it, the seal was stuck to
- 45:08Speaker 23: the inside top of the cap, and so there wasn't
- 45:11Speaker 23: anything that sealed that peanut butter.
- 45:14Speaker 11: And so technically it was working. But it's not like
- 45:15Speaker 11: someone stabbed.
- 45:16Speaker 5: In't you It looked perfectly smooth on this.
- 45:18Speaker 11: It was perfectly smooth on the top.
- 45:20Speaker 4: Eat it, Yeah you would.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I would totally eat that.
- 45:27Speaker 4: I'm on my sealed Well I did eat it.
- 45:29Speaker 11: I couldn't wait.
- 45:30Speaker 2: You're still here, You're okay. I mean, it's like random stuff.
- 45:33Speaker 2: It's all random stuff. This other one that she had
- 45:35Speaker 2: and she was asking, I can't give her a really
- 45:37Speaker 2: answer this. We have to go to our our is
- 45:39Speaker 2: it our official? Is it gay correspondent? We have to
- 45:43Speaker 2: we have to go to Greg goreon on this one.
- 45:45Speaker 2: And she has is this gig hear it out and
- 45:48Speaker 2: then this is gag.
- 45:50Speaker 23: So I was sitting eating with my parents at a bar,
- 45:55Speaker 23: like a kind of sushi bar right where you would
- 45:56Speaker 23: eat and also order drinks, and a guy him and
- 46:00Speaker 23: sat down, probably in his forties.
- 46:03Speaker 11: And he sat down by himself. He was with nobody else,
- 46:06Speaker 11: and he ordered a chardonnay.
- 46:09Speaker 8: Is that gay?
- 46:10Speaker 11: I mean I felt like that. But the second that.
- 46:13Speaker 4: I just saw him six questions by.
- 46:16Speaker 23: Himself and order, I was like, Oh, he's gay.
- 46:19Speaker 8: But I don't know.
- 46:19Speaker 2: I'm not even She immediately lost interest. She's like, charge
- 46:23Speaker 2: forgetting and I could answer it, but I'll go I
- 46:26Speaker 2: want to hear medicis take first? Because I have I
- 46:29Speaker 2: have my.
- 46:29Speaker 4: Answer Already's nuclear? Gay?
- 46:33Speaker 17: Is it?
- 46:33Speaker 4: I mean if you went with red wine still you
- 46:36Speaker 4: know sus? But is it like sharnay?
- 46:39Speaker 2: No?
- 46:40Speaker 8: I think that's like.
- 46:41Speaker 23: The gayest to just sit down and order for some reason.
- 46:44Speaker 11: And I don't know why drink?
- 46:48Speaker 2: No, man, it's what about some of these things that
- 46:50Speaker 2: you order? He'll order anything that comes into pineapple with anything. Yeah, yeah,
- 46:55Speaker 2: it doesn't matter what it is.
- 46:56Speaker 4: But I've been like, I mean an get a jacket,
- 46:59Speaker 4: coc and a apple. He could tropical setting. It's just
- 47:03Speaker 4: what you do. But if you're like like a hotel, yeah,
- 47:06Speaker 4: if you're solo in your charnay, I wouldn't think that,
- 47:10Speaker 4: like a glass of red wine would be red.
- 47:12Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 47:13Speaker 5: I don't know what Sara signals.
- 47:16Speaker 20: What scarer Shardnay or rose the rose for sure, just
- 47:20Speaker 20: because it's pink.
- 47:21Speaker 7: And well there's Shardnay all day, rose all day. But
- 47:25Speaker 7: my gut instinct was to say, that's girly but not gay.
- 47:30Speaker 8: Okay, okay, great, interesting.
- 47:33Speaker 2: I don't think a dude ordering a fuzzy navel right like,
- 47:36Speaker 2: it's not. I mean, I see why you would think that,
- 47:39Speaker 2: I really do. But because yeah, a man normally right,
- 47:43Speaker 2: Shardnay is a very very very woman drake.
- 47:46Speaker 8: It is.
- 47:47Speaker 23: And if you you know, if there's a bottle already
- 47:49Speaker 23: open and you're a guy and you're hanging out, they're like,
- 47:51Speaker 23: we have a bottle of Shardinay, You're like, all right,
- 47:52Speaker 23: I'll have some.
- 47:53Speaker 11: I get that, but solo alone, drink of choice.
- 47:57Speaker 8: I'm a dying for a buttery.
- 47:59Speaker 25: What did he look like? Was he manly looking or
- 48:01Speaker 25: did he already kind of look gay to you?
- 48:03Speaker 11: He didn't look gay.
- 48:04Speaker 4: That's the thing.
- 48:05Speaker 11: I didn't think that he was.
- 48:11Speaker 23: Yes, he look like it wasn't because some people you
- 48:14Speaker 23: can I feel like you can kind of tell it
- 48:16Speaker 23: wasn't anyone who you could.
- 48:17Speaker 11: Take gatar, right, yeah, right off.
- 48:19Speaker 4: The bat, look he looked was.
- 48:24Speaker 2: I think we all know what that means. Okay, So
- 48:28Speaker 2: speaking to Greg in a language he understands, all right, hey, girlfriend,
- 48:31Speaker 2: listen to this. Yeah, it's like no, so David from
- 48:35Speaker 2: my Lottery dream Home, right, you don't have.
- 48:38Speaker 4: To you don't have to hear a word.
- 48:40Speaker 5: You don't have to know anything that you look at
- 48:41Speaker 5: him and go that dude's gays.
- 48:43Speaker 2: You got some kind of pearls and some release over
- 48:46Speaker 2: the top like tattoos. No, dudet tell right, So that's right, Yeah,
- 48:53Speaker 2: I see it, like okay.
- 48:55Speaker 5: Yeah, right there exactly.
- 48:56Speaker 7: No, And that's not even the least been offensive to
- 48:59Speaker 7: say somebody looks gay, somebody that looks it's like, thanks,
- 49:04Speaker 7: for example, danvid Bromstad, the one you just mentioned, looks gay.
- 49:07Speaker 7: But when you said this guy quote didn't look gay, I.
- 49:10Speaker 25: Just meant he didn't.
- 49:11Speaker 4: It wasn't obvious, feminine or right.
- 49:14Speaker 11: Yeah, it just didn't didn't go obvious till the dream
- 49:17Speaker 11: came out. And he wasn't a super manly guy either.
- 49:19Speaker 8: He was just a guy.
- 49:21Speaker 11: I mean, it wasn't nothing went off for me.
- 49:23Speaker 2: J man, are just guys?
- 49:25Speaker 11: Well, shovel over here, I'm going to stop talking.
- 49:31Speaker 5: I think Sammy's mom was just blun right.
- 49:33Speaker 2: Did you hear that?
- 49:34Speaker 16: Right?
- 49:35Speaker 2: Gay guys, they're just guys. They're just guys.
- 49:37Speaker 8: I apologize.
- 49:38Speaker 2: It's kind of like when somebody says, no, I don't
- 49:40Speaker 2: think he's gay.
- 49:40Speaker 8: He has kids, Yeah, he's normal.
- 49:43Speaker 2: You know, Yeah, Okay, that's that would be super fun.
- 49:46Speaker 5: He's normal saying normal, But I don't.
- 49:50Speaker 7: I mean that growing up there are two kinds of
- 49:52Speaker 7: people in the world, gay and normal.
- 49:54Speaker 2: Wow. So fun to hear, just for curiosity clarification. All right,
- 49:58Speaker 2: So I agree that somebody, and I use the David
- 50:01Speaker 2: Bromstad example, my lottery dream home looks gay. So when
- 50:04Speaker 2: you say somebody looks gay, I can't say that, you know,
- 50:07Speaker 2: from I would think that would be necessarily offensive. Now,
- 50:10Speaker 2: if somebody goes, he's not gay, he's normal, that's offense
- 50:14Speaker 2: because that there's there's like, there's there's there's meaning behind that, right,
- 50:18Speaker 2: you know there there's I don't know, like like a
- 50:21Speaker 2: real like a real like a real judgment behind that
- 50:24Speaker 2: saying that I don't know, like chardonay. Somebody said, by
- 50:28Speaker 2: the way their husband calls it sharda gay. I mean,
- 50:31Speaker 2: I see why you would think that, I really do.
- 50:33Speaker 2: But like, you know, saying saying something like that, is
- 50:35Speaker 2: that offensive that as a gay person, do you find
- 50:39Speaker 2: that offensive that Sammy would like just looking?
- 50:42Speaker 3: Oh?
- 50:43Speaker 4: No, I don't think so either.
- 50:44Speaker 2: I don't think. I think it's I mean, it's it's
- 50:47Speaker 2: a it's a it's a clue.
- 50:48Speaker 7: The only well I get it. I don't even like
- 50:50Speaker 7: the word offended because I'm so rarely offended by anything.
- 50:54Speaker 7: But the only thing that I would get, let's call
- 50:56Speaker 7: it offended at is oh, that guy isn't gay, he's married,
- 51:00Speaker 7: or you know, along those lines, that guy can't be
- 51:02Speaker 7: gay he has kids. That let's use the word offender
- 51:06Speaker 7: defends me. The thing that offends me the most, and
- 51:09Speaker 7: this happens a lot through texting here at work. Any
- 51:15Speaker 7: joke in any context has got to go back to
- 51:18Speaker 7: being gay. It's so lazy, it's so ineffective, and it's
- 51:23Speaker 7: borderline offensive. We could be talking about hot dogs.
- 51:26Speaker 2: Of course. God, it's so boring, Jez, Greg take a penis,
- 51:34Speaker 2: but you can't take a joke, get it? That's the
- 51:41Speaker 2: next texts coming. Yeah, sure, but no I would. I
- 51:44Speaker 2: would make a distinction. That's girly, but it's not automatically.
- 51:49Speaker 4: What about Okay, we know Greg's gatar is not the best.
- 51:52Speaker 2: It's really where and where is sea bass? By the
- 51:55Speaker 2: way here, because he's the he's the one. I always
- 51:58Speaker 2: thought it was kind of curious that he will sit down.
- 52:01Speaker 2: I remember we were on a flight somewhere, going somewhere,
- 52:03Speaker 2: and we were sitting in first class and they came
- 52:06Speaker 2: around and said, hey, can we get you anything before takeoff?
- 52:09Speaker 2: And he goes, yes, I will have a glass of champagne.
- 52:11Speaker 2: That's that's his drink of choice. So it's that curious because.
- 52:15Speaker 4: That goes back to my fruit. That's not a celebration
- 52:18Speaker 4: drinks because it's a flight. It goes back to setting
- 52:22Speaker 4: because you're in a first class setting. Yeah, that's a.
- 52:25Speaker 8: Classes thing, not a homophobic but that's.
- 52:27Speaker 5: All that I'm saying just in general. That is his
- 52:29Speaker 5: drink of choice.
- 52:30Speaker 2: Yes, we see him ordering, Yeah, we see him ordering
- 52:33Speaker 2: champagne more than anything else.
- 52:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I find that well because it's good.
- 52:36Speaker 2: I'm with Gina. It's more of a classy thing.
- 52:38Speaker 8: I have to have my champagne.
- 52:40Speaker 7: But I have a few more things on my list.
- 52:41Speaker 7: Remember when I said fountains are gay. The flags in
- 52:45Speaker 7: your in your yard that tell you what season. It
- 52:47Speaker 7: is very gay. Taking a selfie in public?
- 52:52Speaker 2: What is he doing?
- 52:52Speaker 4: I keep seeing his face try to come in with
- 52:56Speaker 4: Sammy's using against microphone.
- 52:59Speaker 11: For him to use, and now he's just pacing.
- 53:01Speaker 23: Back and he's.
- 53:03Speaker 3: Sort of sauntering towards the door because I keep seeing
- 53:05Speaker 3: his face in the window.
- 53:06Speaker 2: But like like, ah, there he is, thank you. How
- 53:09Speaker 2: I see bass he prefers his microphone well because I
- 53:12Speaker 2: see this like face in the window. And then he
- 53:13Speaker 2: disappears and I keep thinking I was, but you guys
- 53:16Speaker 2: have moved on. So I just know, oh no, no, yeah, chardonnay,
- 53:20Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, champagne.
- 53:24Speaker 4: It's either that or the man is a man who
- 53:26Speaker 4: doesn't know how to drink. Uh you think about who?
- 53:30Speaker 4: Like chardonnay is an intro drink.
- 53:32Speaker 3: It is because it's sweet and and you know, lights
- 53:35Speaker 3: and citrusy. So either he's Yeah, he's either gay or
- 53:39Speaker 3: doesn't know yet.
- 53:40Speaker 2: Yeah, he just.
- 53:43Speaker 4: Exposure.
- 53:44Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's fair.
- 53:46Speaker 8: Champagne.
- 53:46Speaker 4: Champagne your drink of choice. It's not my drink of choice,
- 53:49Speaker 4: but it is something I do enjoy from time to
- 53:51Speaker 4: time for sure.
- 53:51Speaker 20: Is it specifically something you order when you're in first
- 53:53Speaker 20: class on a plane or here?
- 53:56Speaker 3: It's what they offer you on first class, Like it's
- 53:57Speaker 3: either you get like if you're there at night, they'll
- 53:59Speaker 3: be or they'll offer you momosa's. Like that's that's the
- 54:02Speaker 3: first thing. That's like barbecue sauce at McDonald's. That's just
- 54:05Speaker 3: it's the first thing they get. Yeah, I mean I like.
- 54:07Speaker 4: It, but yes, by no means my first drinking choice.
- 54:10Speaker 24: Yeah.
- 54:10Speaker 2: By the way, Jackie Coke, right, bro b, I like
- 54:13Speaker 2: to put a word out to all the airlines they
- 54:15Speaker 2: don't have tequila on flights.
- 54:17Speaker 8: Oh I think you can get too sloppy, too quick.
- 54:20Speaker 3: Of course we'll get waste because it's difference between the
- 54:26Speaker 3: difference is you shoot tequila and that's the type of
- 54:29Speaker 3: behavior that leads to out of the.
- 54:31Speaker 8: Waist, getting zip tied to your chair.
- 54:33Speaker 4: Also like all overly sexual.
- 54:36Speaker 15: Yeah, all right, all right, that your makes your clothes pon.
- 54:41Speaker 7: Yeah, are these things gate? So taking a selfie in
- 54:43Speaker 7: PUBLICA that's just god, that's I.
- 54:48Speaker 2: Was talking about men doing the gate that's what's That's
- 54:50Speaker 2: what he's saying. So it might not be necessarily shardonnay.
- 54:53Speaker 2: But if you are falling into one of these things.
- 54:55Speaker 2: In Greg's opinion, our official correspondence, this would be yeah.
- 54:58Speaker 4: But you have to define if the it's a woman
- 55:01Speaker 4: or man.
- 55:01Speaker 7: These are all man doing this using conditioner. I think
- 55:05Speaker 7: that's very good.
- 55:06Speaker 8: That's gay.
- 55:10Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, and let's just like mixed in.
- 55:12Speaker 8: Don't you want silky hair?
- 55:15Speaker 7: Guys will use bar soap they don't care or nothing,
- 55:18Speaker 7: just water. Having a tattoo anywhere from the waist down,
- 55:22Speaker 7: especially ankle.
- 55:25Speaker 2: Nuclear give me somezes, then that's so gay.
- 55:30Speaker 3: It's so tough these days because people are tattooing everything
- 55:32Speaker 3: they get their hands on.
- 55:33Speaker 4: And the calf tattoo is.
- 55:35Speaker 8: Huge with the barbed wire, the tribal band.
- 55:39Speaker 2: Like oh I have a pizza slice and or shark
- 55:41Speaker 2: anything under the waist. Gay, I do this a lot.
- 55:45Speaker 2: Use lip bomb. I think that's gay.
- 55:48Speaker 20: Sourcemen to use lip like I'll hold you down and
- 55:52Speaker 20: like you I hate to seeing.
- 55:53Speaker 8: Those chapped lips.
- 55:54Speaker 4: Do you mean chap stick or lip bombers inclusive?
- 55:57Speaker 2: Inclusive? Gay, yeah, I mean necessary. I agree, But by
- 56:02Speaker 2: I buy something like that once every couple of years
- 56:05Speaker 2: because I'll end up being in some place where it's
- 56:07Speaker 2: like blistering cold and from you licking your lips, your
- 56:10Speaker 2: your lips get like burning chapping at her, and so like,
- 56:13Speaker 2: I buy and I buy the same thing every time.
- 56:15Speaker 2: That car MAXs makes it worse, No, it makes it
- 56:18Speaker 2: so dude, it's so good.
- 56:19Speaker 4: Car second.
- 56:21Speaker 2: Carmes like c a m a second.
- 56:25Speaker 8: It feels good. Bather you all with the aqua for
- 56:31Speaker 8: is the best looks.
- 56:32Speaker 2: It's the best snow gloves. I have that on my
- 56:38Speaker 2: learned to snow gloves gloves.
- 56:41Speaker 3: I haven't thought about snow gloves since I was like
- 56:43Speaker 3: eight years ago. They're so good because they're all at airports.
- 56:47Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, right next to the spoons. Yeah, and
- 56:52Speaker 3: shot glasses.
- 56:53Speaker 2: And then the other thing is having more than one.
- 56:55Speaker 8: Key chain, okay, like a souvenirs.
- 56:59Speaker 2: Girls do have bigger key chains totally and multi keychains.
- 57:02Speaker 2: Yeah all right, well hold let's see what, yeah, Gina,
- 57:05Speaker 2: Oh yeah, like thattle.
- 57:07Speaker 7: Trinket yeah, if that was a man's keys.
- 57:12Speaker 8: Air tag and my Pokemon thing that my kid.
- 57:14Speaker 5: Gives multiple things.
- 57:16Speaker 3: Yeah, women also have purses, men have pockets. We can't
- 57:20Speaker 3: throw Pokemon on our key chains.
- 57:21Speaker 2: If you have more than If you have more than one,
- 57:25Speaker 2: then you have a life partner. All right, Well there's
- 57:30Speaker 2: the there's your definitive answer, Sammy. Yeah, next time you
- 57:33Speaker 2: see that guy, you can make a move. Chances are
- 57:37Speaker 2: he is into it. We're gonna take a break. I
- 57:39Speaker 2: do have a confession to make. And when Sammy said
- 57:42Speaker 2: that she had is this gay question? That's what sparked my.
- 57:45Speaker 2: That reminded me like, oh, yeah, I did something for
- 57:48Speaker 2: the first time.
- 57:49Speaker 8: I can't wait.
- 57:50Speaker 2: It might and it might fall under the category Greg
- 57:53Speaker 2: that you would judge, really you would judge me. Yeah,
- 57:55Speaker 2: I'm intrigued.
- 57:56Speaker 5: The question, Am I gay?
- 57:58Speaker 2: Is the question to be? I'll tell you what I did.
- 58:00Speaker 5: That's what the show hang on.
- 58:03Speaker 2: The Woody Show.
- 58:06Speaker 4: I think there's some shenanigans going on The Woody Show
- 58:09Speaker 4: is back.
- 58:11Speaker 2: There'll be one thing if I did one of these things,
- 58:16Speaker 2: or you know what, maybe even two at the same time.
- 58:19Speaker 4: I did all.
- 58:19Speaker 2: Three of these things for the very first time. In
- 58:22Speaker 2: my life, Greg, is it gay? Any guesses? Yes, I
- 58:28Speaker 2: do have a guess.
- 58:29Speaker 4: You have a guess.
- 58:31Speaker 7: Well, looking at your face. It's not a spray tan,
- 58:34Speaker 7: which we thought you were going to do last year.
- 58:36Speaker 4: No, I've never done a spray tan.
- 58:38Speaker 2: Is it a manicure. I got a manicure, I got
- 58:45Speaker 2: a pedicure, and I got a facial nice.
- 58:50Speaker 8: Is that gay self care?
- 58:53Speaker 18: No?
- 58:54Speaker 4: Okay, I don't know.
- 58:55Speaker 5: I don't know if this has any bearing anything.
- 58:56Speaker 2: I told you. I was really excited about this place
- 58:58Speaker 2: that was opening by my house. It's called Hammer and Nail, right,
- 59:02Speaker 2: and it's basically a salon, not a salon, but like
- 59:06Speaker 2: a it's a manly salon, a manly salon. But they
- 59:09Speaker 2: because but they thank god, they waxed my ears. They'll
- 59:12Speaker 2: watch your nose, the waxed eyebrows. All that they do
- 59:15Speaker 2: straight razor shaves and linus was why the beard looked
- 59:18Speaker 2: away lined up. They'll do like the camo color haircut, manicure, pedicure, facial,
- 59:27Speaker 2: they do all kinds of stuff, right, And so my
- 59:31Speaker 2: buddy had told me about this, He's like due. This
- 59:32Speaker 2: place is awesome.
- 59:33Speaker 5: They have these I have to show you a picture
- 59:35Speaker 5: of the place, Greg, it sounds awesome.
- 59:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:37Speaker 4: So anyway, it looks like a place that you would
- 59:38Speaker 4: go to do like whiskey tasting.
- 59:41Speaker 2: You walk in, but you walk in and they hand
- 59:45Speaker 2: you your favorite drink, your drink of.
- 59:48Speaker 5: Choice, and then it's just.
- 59:51Speaker 2: So this this is where I was sitting as they
- 59:53Speaker 2: were doing the as they were doing the manicure.
- 59:56Speaker 5: Look at that place.
- 59:56Speaker 4: Oh damn, it looks very cool.
- 59:59Speaker 20: They don't call it a salon, and they call it
- 1:00:00Speaker 20: a grooming lounge, a grooming lounge for men.
- 1:00:03Speaker 25: Yeah, is it women or men doing your toes?
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: It was a woman. It was a woman. Facial facial
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: was a woman. The haircut, the straight razor, and even
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: the wax was a dude. The waxing of the ears
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: was a dude. It was great. It was great, and
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: I never done it's where it's not completely like, there's
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: still some great they say touch of gray. Okay, right yeah,
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: But anyway, so I tried it because I was like
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: why not?
- 1:00:36Speaker 5: Because it was all included. I had to pay for
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: it separately.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: Because my buddy had told me about this place, is like, hey,
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: go in there, get this, and you can go in
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: there and get any service. That you want, so I'm like, hey,
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: I've never done it. Everybody's told me about manicure and
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: pedicure how much I love it, and I do really, dude,
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: it's so great.
- 1:00:53Speaker 8: So you go like three times a week if you
- 1:00:55Speaker 8: want to.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: I can go every day if I wanted to. They
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: sell different things, Dude, it's so good. Pedicure sounds too
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: ticklish to me.
- 1:01:05Speaker 8: I love him.
- 1:01:05Speaker 25: I don't even they feel amazing.
- 1:01:08Speaker 7: I'm a kicker, and I might be embarrassed because my
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: heels are so dry.
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: Due my feet are so soft. There have you done
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: it before?
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: Manicure pedicure.
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: I'm not against trying it, but I thought when you
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: set that up, I would have thought.
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: Oh, he was on a cruise with his family, got nothing,
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: You got nothing to know as well?
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: Did you know I would have never done it like
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: at a regular like spaspaw kind of place. Yeah, where
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: it's men and women, and I've never done that.
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: You're doing it in a manly setting, You're not doing
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: like a dry It made a different enough to give
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: me the first time.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: Now that I've tried it, I've done, I'm like, I'll
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: get him at the mall. I don't care did you.
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: Go with your buddy?
- 1:01:49Speaker 8: It was just holding hands with it.
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: Well, it was holding hands with the person that was
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: doing the man core.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:54Speaker 11: How often do you plan on going to this point?
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: It was two weeks.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: Ago that I did this, and I'm going against tomorrow.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: I'm going tomorrow. You can get a membership and go unlimited. Yes,
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: so I can get your you can get your hair
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: cut every day for fun.
- 1:02:13Speaker 20: They have a big daddy aroma therapy many petty.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: They pour whiskey into the water mix or whatever, and
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: so you have this aroma of whiskey. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: Everyone is corny and cheesy and you could throw as
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: much wood and leather and whiskey at me, but you know,
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: you just.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: Do the job.
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: It was a cool place. This place does look awesome.
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: And as you're sitting there in these big leather recliner things,
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: they have these TVs up in. Each person has their
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: own individual TV. You watch where you want noise canceling headphones,
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: and they're just like pamper and the crap out of you.
- 1:02:46Speaker 8: They kick you out if you're a lady, because I'd
- 1:02:48Speaker 8: rather know here.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: I don't know. It's called hammer and nail. They have
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: over the country.
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: On the TV. I don't care how hard it's.
- 1:02:59Speaker 5: Yeah, you can put whatever you want.
- 1:03:00Speaker 8: Camera and nails grooming.
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: Do they use the word pamper?
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: That is no.
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: I couldn't think of another. They spoil you? How about
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: that much better.
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: Show any other first come person there? I mean for
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: whatever it is in the same realm as like, uh,
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: like skincare. I started embracing skincare yeah and uh yeah,
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: and there's this I mentioned it off to Aaron lit Up.
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: Well I do. I do have those Kylie kids, but
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: like actually not ironically getting Kylie kids, like getting the
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: uh the first a beauty like this, this brand that
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: has skincare. Dude, I'm obsessed. Girlfriend. So it's like your
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: skin getting a drink of water.
- 1:03:53Speaker 24: Good?
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: And so what is it like all over things? You're
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: all over my body because we have like masty elbows
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: of dude, I'm telling you up yeah, first uh first
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: aid beauty, looking into.
- 1:04:07Speaker 11: I would target in other places. I used their shampoo,
- 1:04:10Speaker 11: but they don't make that anymore.
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: So I'm well, this is I'm kind of jealous because
- 1:04:14Speaker 7: I've never gotten a manicure or a pedicure.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: I have no interest. Dude, you'd have.
- 1:04:19Speaker 7: Done the facial and I do think the facial part
- 1:04:22Speaker 7: is gay.
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: And I also think the facials, God, strike me down.
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: They don't do anything like you don't. They really don't
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: do anything.
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: Does it glow to you?
- 1:04:33Speaker 20: I think you're blowing? I see it a dewey the beard, Yeah,
- 1:04:37Speaker 20: that's you want to have dewey glow.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: Always wanted a straight razor shape, so you go there.
- 1:04:42Speaker 8: So do they do that the straight razor?
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: Yeah, hot leather straight raised the old time is so cool.
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: Facial things like you with the facial part is the
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: hand part. You wouldn't like the manicure, right, that's the
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: that's the hand pedicure. You'd like you really like that
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: because you like to have your feet out. I do,
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: and like you know, I do have night feet. I
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: think you would like it. And then the facial thing
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: I think you would like. I do like it. But
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: I just I truly believe massage your face rules.
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: But is it like I don't know, Ladies, help me
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: out here. The facial thing is that like Mico derm abrations,
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: they actually get into your skins.
- 1:05:17Speaker 25: That's one type.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: They put like a hot talent on there and everything
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: and then they rubbed some others that you know, and
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: then they put another hot talent with the stuff they
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: just put on their fields.
- 1:05:27Speaker 8: Amazing, and you're just like awesome for.
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: The whole flights too cool.
- 1:05:31Speaker 15: I mean, whatever, did the girls have their boobies out
- 1:05:33Speaker 15: like hooters or is it just normal?
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: It's not it's not like that, it's not tilted killed.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: I'm just wondering any other first timers.
- 1:05:41Speaker 20: I'm about to be a first timer for I think
- 1:05:45Speaker 20: I just convinced my husband to take ballroom dancing classes.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: Oh god, I thought that or something.
- 1:05:57Speaker 8: I think it would be fun.
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: You got it.
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: You got to give him an out on that corot. No,
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: he won't like that.
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: This is obligation.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: Yeah, we still all right. Welcome back everybody. Ye yeah,
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: it is the way show, rolling right along this morning.
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: And I tell you why, man, we meet some interesting
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: people along the way. I mean not just professionally, but
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: out like at events and different things and uh, you know, medicine.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: I recently we went to that to that radio convention
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: whatever thing that we did in Austin, And while I
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: was there, I met somebody who works for our company
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: and has a pretty big job within our company, and
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: so I would have thought, at least at some point
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: would have met this person before it would make sense.
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: And I never met this person. And this is one
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: of the more interesting, funny people I think I've ever
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: met in my life. I put him right up there
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: with Aunt Chrissy as far as characters go. And man,
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: I I don't remember were laughing as hard as I
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: did that night when I met this guy. His name
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: is Deeke, and I actually have Deeke here on the line. Hey,
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: dee can you hear us?
- 1:07:08Speaker 18: Yeah?
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: All right, there hear me?
- 1:07:10Speaker 18: Yeah?
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: There he is. Now. Deek works for our company, and
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: he does like a lot of stuff if you listen
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: to a radio station, a lot of the things that
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: go on like between the songs or the big promotional
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: announcements with like the big voice that comes on and
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: tells you what you can win and stuff like that.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: So they have him locked away in some closet somewhere
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: and uh, and he does all this stuff for all
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: of the big like iHeartRadio country stations.
- 1:07:33Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, And how long you've been doing that job
- 1:07:38Speaker 5: with this company?
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: Seventeen years? Nice never met him before. I'm weird, but.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: I've been I've been with the company since ninety five.
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: Yeah, see this is what I'm saying.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: Man. So anyway, we figured, like his Menace meets interesting
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: people out we always get to meet the people that
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: Sea Bass runs into.
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: And so I just wanted to introduce you guys to Deeke.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: And my thought is like, at some point we got
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: to have like some kind of like Woody show party
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: with Deeke.
- 1:08:02Speaker 5: Maybe bring Aunt Chrissy in.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Because I don't know, but I'm down.
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: So what is your story? You're you're from where.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: Oh, I was born and raised in Kentucky, Kentucky, got
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: hired by the same company we're with now, and yeah,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: worked at EBN and Cincinnati and then MMS in Cleveland
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: and then.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: Stationed in Florida. And you worked for this guy, Brad.
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: So I got a lot of these stories while I
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: was sitting there that night, and I think the most
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: fascinating one, well, I mean it's hard to tell, but
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: the one of the most fascinating stories that I've been
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: fired a number of times over the years in radio.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: I think anybody's been in radio more than five minutes
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: has been fired at least once, maybe a dozen times.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: We've all been fired a lot if you haven't fired.
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: Yeah, the fact the fact that he's only been fired
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: three times is quite amazing. And there's a couple of
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: the stories that to my talent, yeah, like eventually, like
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: a couple of stories. Like how long before we could
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: tell those stories? Because I mean tell you, I'm like
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: hearing them was gold.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, don't you think we're to the point
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: where we actually call and be like, hey, this is
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: content now.
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: Yeah, but how many years ago the story I'm thinking about,
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: deeg how long twenty years ago? Twenty years ago? Something
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: he got fired for twenty years ago. He still still
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: still can't talk about it. But you know what, So
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: of the things that you can talk about, what was
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: the one thing either you got the most in trouble
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: for or that you did get fired for.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: I think the thing I got the most in trouble
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: for was some of just some random comment I said
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: on the air, but it became a big pain in
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: the ass.
- 1:09:27Speaker 5: Yeah, that happens everybody.
- 1:09:29Speaker 8: Yeah, we've all been there.
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody's been.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: I didn't know at the time though, because this was
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: the nineties and there was an international def Leopard fan
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: club and I made fun of the one arm drummer
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: for beating his wife.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: Well wait, so you got in trouble for making fun
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: of him for his wife.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: But what I said was, I guess that dumb bitch
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: didn't read the scouting rip for it said he ain't
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: coming too strong from the left, something like that. So
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: it became a on man. Those souls in the nineties,
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: I didn't even think about them. They have an international
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: fan club, like I got hate mail for a year,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: like in the mail, yeah, and there was no email.
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: Then you got in trouble at the radio station for
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: that one, probably because it was.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: The mayor, and I got in trouble for that. And
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: I don't know trouble stories.
- 1:10:18Speaker 8: My trouble.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: I stay out of trouble. That's why I'm still I
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: don't know about that.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: I mean, there's there's a twenty years there's a twenty
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: year old story. So good I can't so good. I
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: got it the better ones going back before that. I'll
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: tell you another one from back then. Well that's not
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: because it doesn't.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Even do with me. But I told you about that
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: that sidekick that I had that took the whole network
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: off the air while he was banging a stripper on
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: the roof, right, Yeah, I.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: Mean it was radio back in the day, was wild man. Yeah,
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: it was wild in fact, talk about are you allowed
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: to tell the story about it? We can leave the
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: names out of it. But there was like this one executive.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: So my my boss. Yeah, he had this party at
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: his house after this event every year, and I had
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: to work the event. It starts eight o'clock in the morning.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: By the way, that was this same day was the
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: first time I ever drove a Hummer.
- 1:11:07Speaker 5: One of the most overrated vehicles ever.
- 1:11:08Speaker 4: Oh my god.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: Yeah, things sucks. I hate him so much. Our station
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: had like a real before they were like available to
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: the public. Good call on that exact whoever you are. Anyway,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: So we work all day and then he has this
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: big after party two o'clock in the morning. His pool
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: is full of completely naked women, most of them from
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: this area strip club. And he comes out and he's
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: just wearing a towel. You know when you get like
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: super tired and you just like you'll start staring at stuff,
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: and he has his zone out. Yeah, so like he
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: walks out. I look because he walked out and I'm
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: staring and then he drops his towel. Well that's a baby.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: I'm seeing a grown man with the smallest waner I've
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: ever seen.
- 1:11:54Speaker 5: And this is like the big boss.
- 1:11:56Speaker 4: This is the boss of the Boss of the Boss of.
- 1:11:58Speaker 5: The boss, like the mean guy, the headhuncho.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: Yeah, and he's walking towards the boss man. He stops
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: right in front of me and he puts his hands
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: like waiste, like Superman. Oh yeah, he's portly, and he goes, hey, date,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: you can't tell how big a balloon is until you
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: blow on it.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: Mother, All right, that's old school. Yeah, so that's so. Yeah,
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: that's old school management. That's uh, that's how many Yeah, I.
- 1:12:28Speaker 8: Think about that now.
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: I love working for that guy.
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: I just wanted to introduce you to everybody, and it's
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: good to meet you, guys. Yeah, because I definitely think
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: we need to have you as a correspondent at least
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: from time to time on different things. Get perspective on
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: different things, obviously, for sure, like once, how long do
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: you think it's going to be this this legal thing
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: back and forth from twenty years ago with weed No, no, no,
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: like you're your other story stories, I don't Yeah, I'll
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: make a call. I just say guys, I'm telling you, like,
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: some of these stories are unbelievable, Like how did you
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: even manage that?
- 1:13:08Speaker 5: He goes, what do you need me to explain the
- 1:13:09Speaker 5: birds and the bees?
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: Okay? And I go no, no, no, no, I need to
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: explain like the situation professionally and otherwise how that even
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: happened in the first place logistically?
- 1:13:18Speaker 5: Yeah, dude, unbelievable stories I've never heard.
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: I mean, I've heard a lot of people getting fired
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: for different reason stories, but this is one of the
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: more incredible stories I've ever heard. Deep, one of the
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: more fun people I think I've ever hung out with.
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: We had good time, I know, yeah it was. It
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: was a great time. And Deep, thank you for coming on.
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: We'll be checking in with you again.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: Yeah, man, you're good people.
- 1:13:39Speaker 4: All right, Well there's Deek everybody. Deep Yeah, thank you
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: for having me on. All right, Man, appreciate you.
- 1:13:46Speaker 5: He is great.
- 1:13:47Speaker 22: H o Al.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: Garbage Day, not garbage here, Pete.
- 1:13:52Speaker 22: Hey, don't forget.
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: We have trash Day, not trash weed.
- 1:13:56Speaker 7: It's not every once in a while that they leave
- 1:13:58Speaker 7: it out for an extra day.
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: It's the Woody Show.
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: Reminder me, I didn't have an email, not about being
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: an ho A hole? Am I the a hole?
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: Jared says?
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: Hoy Hoy says an email email at the wodieshow dot
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: com Hoy Avid, listener to the show for more than
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: a decade, I realized there are some parts of the
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: show that are really helpful to listeners. Guess whose gas
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: always a good laughing helpful. Hearing people freak out of
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: calling lazy bones during card arcs makes me question where
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: we're head is sidy?
- 1:14:30Speaker 5: But those are for a different time.
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: Today, I bring my case to my friends of the
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: Woody Show to ask if I am indeed the a hole.
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: My son will be turning two in a few months,
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: and my wife and I have activities planned for his birthday.
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: No party or anything like that. We're going to go
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: to a ranch where they have a hay ride and
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: you can feed some pets and animals and while you
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: ride on the wagon through the ranch. He loves animals,
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: and we have done this with him twice before and
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: he loves every minute of it. Well. Both of the
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: grandmother's on my wife's side, biological and step both made
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: plans for his birthday for other things I'm not talking
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: about plans for his birthday but for themselves. His biological
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: grandmother had planned for her friends to come visit and
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: they go out of town for a few days, with
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: her only grandchild's birthday being right in the middle of
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: those dates. His step grandmother decided to book a two
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: week trip to Italy and won't be returning until the
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: day after his birthday. One might question how long these
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: plans have been in place. My wife and I talked
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: to all the grandparents at least four months ago about
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: these plans so that they could schedule accordingly. These alternate
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: plans were made in the past one to two months.
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: My wife and I refuse to change our plans in
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: any way because then it's just not the same. We
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: don't want to set a precedent that we will conform
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: to whatever other people's plans might be despite already having
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: our plans set. We celebrate the birthday, not the week
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: or even the month. Sorry minutes, question, am I and
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: my wife the ahole for not being willing to change
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: the date of our son his birthday activities to accommodate
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: the grandmother's plans.
- 1:16:04Speaker 4: Uh, real quick, I'm sorry I missed the first part.
- 1:16:06Speaker 4: How old you said he's turning two. Oh, then yeah,
- 1:16:10Speaker 4: you're an a whole. Yeah, the kid won't remember if
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: the grandparents were there or not, but it doesn't matter.
- 1:16:16Speaker 23: And the kid also doesn't know what day is their
- 1:16:18Speaker 23: actual birthday.
- 1:16:19Speaker 11: You can move it to whatever and it would be fine.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: Yeah, it doesn't matter. I don't think they're the A hole. Yeah,
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: I think why you think they're the a hole for
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: not changing their plan? I think to accommodate the grandmother
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: like overly upset by it.
- 1:16:33Speaker 5: I don't think they're I don't think they're upset.
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: They're asking are they the A hole for not moving
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: the plan to accommodate their schedule?
- 1:16:39Speaker 8: Change it?
- 1:16:40Speaker 4: Yeah, if they're angry in some way, then yes, I
- 1:16:43Speaker 4: think they're an a whole. But yeah, because I think
- 1:16:45Speaker 4: if they shouldn't they shouldn't move the plans around if
- 1:16:47Speaker 4: they don't want.
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: To, because I think if anything, like maybe the grandmother
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: is saying, well, why don't you just move it into
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: when we're back, they're going, no, we're not doing that.
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: I don't think they're I don't think they're I don't
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: think he Jared is necessarily mad about that. I think
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: it's more like, hey, we have these plans said, yeah,
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: I'm not going to be Are we the a holes
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: for not moving the plans to accommodate whatever they decided
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: to do the laws?
- 1:17:06Speaker 20: I think And if I was the grandma, I would
- 1:17:09Speaker 20: be kind of pissed. I'd be like, look, this is
- 1:17:10Speaker 20: my chance to go to Italy with my friends. We
- 1:17:13Speaker 20: can't do the hay ride next weekend.
- 1:17:15Speaker 18: I know.
- 1:17:15Speaker 8: Like I see it the.
- 1:17:17Speaker 20: Other direction, like if everybody, if nobody wants to change
- 1:17:19Speaker 20: their plans, then everyone needs to be fine with what
- 1:17:21Speaker 20: they're doing. It'll just be the nuclear family at the
- 1:17:24Speaker 20: hay Ride. You'll have a great time and try it
- 1:17:26Speaker 20: again next year.
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:27Speaker 25: And they said they've been there multiple times, you've already
- 1:17:30Speaker 25: been old.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not a big deal because the kid is
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: too and won't remember to do.
- 1:17:35Speaker 7: The hay ride on the actual birthday and when grandmas
- 1:17:38Speaker 7: are back in town, do another little thing for the birthday. Yeah,
- 1:17:42Speaker 7: that sort of activity.
- 1:17:43Speaker 11: It seems like the grandmas have big events going on.
- 1:17:45Speaker 23: It's not like, oh, well I have dinner plans that
- 1:17:47Speaker 23: day or you know, something small.
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:50Speaker 4: Now the kid was starting ten and could realize, hey,
- 1:17:53Speaker 4: my grandparents aren't at my party, then I could see.
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: Well the grandparents issue. The grandparents would be the a
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: hole then, because the kids older and can realize. And
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: then oh, well, why isn't grandma here? Oh because she
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: decided to go out of town with their friends for
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: the weekend. Grandma, just hurry up and die so I
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: can take your stuff.
- 1:18:12Speaker 11: Is it normal for your whole family to go to
- 1:18:15Speaker 11: your birthday parties?
- 1:18:16Speaker 16: Yeah?
- 1:18:16Speaker 25: Yeah, I never had my extended family any birthday.
- 1:18:19Speaker 4: I mean, do they like you?
- 1:18:21Speaker 25: I mean that probably says Moody.
- 1:18:23Speaker 15: As a kid, I wouldn't be as a ten year old,
- 1:18:25Speaker 15: I wouldn't be mad that my grandma wasn't there.
- 1:18:27Speaker 25: You know, that's that's for you and your friends.
- 1:18:29Speaker 20: Yeah we weren't. We're the same, Morgan. But if family
- 1:18:32Speaker 20: is really important, then you'll change the date. If not,
- 1:18:34Speaker 20: just do it next year.
- 1:18:35Speaker 7: That angle, to me is a holy because what you
- 1:18:38Speaker 7: expect the two grandmas to make this kid the center
- 1:18:41Speaker 7: of their university if you're going to Italy but your
- 1:18:44Speaker 7: grandson's turning two, so exactly.
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: But I think you're looking at it the wrong way.
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: I don't.
- 1:18:49Speaker 7: I don't think that's what they're saying. No, he's asking
- 1:18:52Speaker 7: if they're a whole for not changing their plants. That
- 1:18:55Speaker 7: doesn't make him an a whole.
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: Now, No, that's what I'm saying. I don't think Jared.
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: I don't think you and your wife are the ale.
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: Like you guys are sticking to your plan. They're sticking
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: to theirs. If it's not a big deal to them,
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: it shouldn't be a big which I don't think it is,
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: because that's why you're sticking with your plans. And it's
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: a big deal. You would have changed the planet.
- 1:19:10Speaker 4: And I know it's not said in the email, but
- 1:19:12Speaker 4: if they do have any ill will towards the grandparents,
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: I do think that's a little a hole ish.
- 1:19:17Speaker 8: Yeah, everybody's holding their boundary. I'm not changing my plans.
- 1:19:20Speaker 8: I'm not changing my plans. Okay, see you next year.
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: He says, he wraps up. I love you all, even
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: Sea Bass. I guess, but we need more Morghie segments.
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: That girl brings some serious content to the show. That's
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: from Jared Jared ak Cabo.
- 1:19:39Speaker 15: Oh, like we have a two year old that was
- 1:19:47Speaker 15: that was just a made up story so that he
- 1:19:49Speaker 15: can say something about how.
- 1:19:53Speaker 25: Hey, I'll take whatever I can get.
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: Well, there's a dumb lawsuit in the news, aren't most
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: of them? This woman issuing her former employer over what
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: she calls twenty years of psychological torture. Oh do tell
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: The thing is the company literally.
- 1:20:11Speaker 5: Didn't do anything.
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: It turns out that over the last twenty years they
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: gave this woman no work to do, but she was
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: paid her full salary without having any roles, responsibilities, or
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: any really human interaction that required of any kind. This
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: is a problem, She says, that the company exactly, That's
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: what I.
- 1:20:29Speaker 4: Was thinking about it. It sounds like the dream.
- 1:20:31Speaker 5: Yeah, the company, the no show job.
- 1:20:33Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, why would they even keep Yeah?
- 1:20:36Speaker 11: How do you get this job?
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: Yeah? She said. The company sidelined her due to medical reasons,
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: and even though they still paid her, her sense of
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: purpose and dignity had declined. When the volunteer, she says
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: that being paid at home not working is not a privilege,
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: and it's very hard to bear, is it?
- 1:20:55Speaker 4: Get that the f out of here? Willing to try?
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: That is the wet dream the got here?
- 1:21:00Speaker 20: Yeah, dude, And you don't have to sit at home,
- 1:21:03Speaker 20: Like I said, go volunteer, do something with your life.
- 1:21:06Speaker 8: Just sit there and quiet about my pay check.
- 1:21:08Speaker 4: It kind of depends on like the requirements though, Like
- 1:21:11Speaker 4: if they catch you lifting some boxes or something, well
- 1:21:14Speaker 4: you're just like if you have an issue with you
- 1:21:15Speaker 4: have some kind of medical thing, they don't.
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: Who I think it's the Dodgers, the La Dodgers. They
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: keep a guy in the payroll, he's got like some
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: mental health thing. They keep him on the payroll just
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: so he can have his benefits. That's amazing, so he
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: wouldn't get cut off his benefits. It sounds like, if anything,
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: they're being super cool to this chick, like, hey, you
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: know what, you got your medical thing just you got paid.
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: They're still paying you, right, They have no expectation or responsibility.
- 1:21:41Speaker 4: And you hand it to you like just chill, what
- 1:21:44Speaker 4: are you suing for?
- 1:21:45Speaker 7: Like my dream has always been, as you know, to
- 1:21:47Speaker 7: be a housewife. Yeah, you take it to the next level.
- 1:21:51Speaker 7: You're you can be a housewife and get.
- 1:21:53Speaker 25: Paid and you don't have to sleep with someone that's gross.
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: Yeah, whatever you want.
- 1:21:57Speaker 5: I told you.
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: The greatest the greatest thing that I experienced was this
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: one time where it was kind of toward the end
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: of one of my contracts at a station that I
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: worked at years ago, and I knew that I wasn't
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: going to be staying for another contract, and so there
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: was like a back and forth and whatever, and then
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: they said, hey, so we're going to go in a
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: different direction. I go, all right, cool. I got paid
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: for the next like five months, my full salary plus benefits,
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: and I didn't have to go to work. It was
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: like I was getting paid as if I was still
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: going to work, but I wasn't going to work. And
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: because I knew I wasn't staying, I had already gotten
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: so far down the road on the next job, like
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: getting lined up. Okay, so you have the stress, and
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: that's the job. That next job, by the way, is
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: where I met Greg and Mennice. That's when I moved
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: to San Francisco and I took the job there. I
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: was already working on that job, and so I had
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: five months of doing nothing the stress, full salary and benefits,
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: five months to get my en There were there were
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: no kids at the time, I wasn't married at the time.
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: It was the ultimate untethered. It was such a great experience.
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: Do why have false memory syndrome? Is that considered? Is
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: the term for that called on the beach or on
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: the beach is just when you're you know, that's on
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: the beach, when you're getting paid to not go play, Like,
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: where's Woody? Oh he's on the beach? Mean, hay play
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: is the term in your contract. So they can they can,
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: you know, they can pay you to work or to
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: not work, but they're gonna pay. You'll be right back
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: more fun than Gonerrhea. I mean I've had gone a
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: few times and i I haven't had all Right, We're

- 1:24:21Speaker 7: it won't listen to everything you say that.
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: My wife tried to turn it into some kind of
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: like a misogyny thing. She went into the one room
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: of the house that I spend the most time in.
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: It's quiet and away from everybody. Yeah, and there's a
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: there's a device in there, and the voice on it
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: is a male voice. It's not the typical female voice.
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: And she goes, oh, you can't even listen to a
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: woman on the I'm like, what are you talking about.
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: I didn't change it.
- 1:24:51Speaker 11: I'm gonna say it's because you went through the trouble
- 1:24:53Speaker 11: to change it.
- 1:24:54Speaker 4: Yeah, just go with because I care that much.
- 1:24:56Speaker 5: No, I didn't change it.
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: My kids are always doing stuff and I'll notice it
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: because my alarm clock that I have next to my bed,
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: I'll say, Alexa, set my sorry guys a word, set
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: my alarm for one fifteen am. And I'll go, alarm
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: set for one fifteen am. It makes some weird noise,
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: which never used to do. I go, what is what
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: the hell is that all about? It's because they enabled
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: some kind of skill on there. Ooh okay, Yeah, sucks.
- 1:25:25Speaker 20: I'm from another time because I don't even have one,
- 1:25:28Speaker 20: and I got to figure.
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: Out, like, you know, all right, which one of you
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: kids said this thing? Which one was it? So I
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: can disable it. I can't just get a list.
- 1:25:35Speaker 4: It's a pain to.
- 1:25:36Speaker 8: Do with this.
- 1:25:37Speaker 22: No.
- 1:25:37Speaker 4: Wow, well, Gina, this might blow your mind. I don't
- 1:25:40Speaker 4: think we share this with you. But I have one
- 1:25:41Speaker 4: in my refrigerator.
- 1:25:43Speaker 11: What why I know that?
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's got the one. He's got the refrigerate.
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: It's got the TV in it and stuff.
- 1:25:49Speaker 4: Yeah, they talk to it.
