  Speaker 1: as she drifted sideways. I can't stop it, she screamed,

  Speaker 1: as a seady stream of rocket forced gas kept her

  Speaker 1: suspended above her own birthday party. Her dad flew up, calmly, okay, Sully, breathe,

  Speaker 1: you're activating it. That means you can deactivate it. I

  Speaker 1: don't know how, Sully re responded, slower breathing. Think of

  Speaker 1: it like tightening a valve. She squeezed her eyes shut inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale.

  Speaker 1: She relaxed her muscles, and the blast began to weaken.

  Speaker 1: She drifted down. Silence filled the yard. Then a kid shouted,

  Speaker 1: Sally has silper farts. That's the worst power ever. A

  Speaker 1: few snickers followed. Her chest tightened, she landed, and she

  Speaker 1: ran through the gate into the forest. She didn't stop

  Speaker 1: until the sound of the party disappeared. She collapsed near

  Speaker 1: a cluster of rocks and buried her face in her arms.

  Speaker 1: Of all the powers, of all the cool things she

  Speaker 1: could have gotten, she got that. That's when she heard sniffling.

  Speaker 1: She looked up and spotted a small green dragon curled

  Speaker 1: beside the rocks, his wings wrapped around himself webs. He

  Speaker 1: groaned miserably.

  Speaker 3: I shoot webs. What kind of a dragon shoots webs?

  Speaker 3: I should command lightning or move mountains, but now I

  Speaker 3: am a sticky tail spider dragon.

  Speaker 1: Sully blinked through her tears. You shoot webs, she asked.

  Speaker 1: The dragon jumped you.

  Speaker 3: You saw nothing.

  Speaker 1: It's okay, she sniffed, I have super farts. The dragon paused,

  Speaker 1: that's unfortunate. They stared at each other, then both of

  Speaker 1: them burst out laughing. His name was Avit. He discovered

  Speaker 1: his web shooting tail that morning and fled his dragon
• 8:10
  Speaker 1: clan in embarrassment. I was supposed to be elemental, he said, gloomily. Instead,

  Speaker 1: I'm adhesive. Can you still breathe fire, Sullie asked. He
• 8:26
  Speaker 1: nodded and released a respectable burst of flame. That's awesome,
• 8:32
  Speaker 1: she said, honestly, it is not. It is, and webs
• 8:37
  Speaker 1: aren't useless. Show me reluctantly, he shot a strand at
• 8:43
  Speaker 1: a tree. It stuck instantly. Again, Sully encouraged. Soon he
• 8:50
  Speaker 1: was layering webs between trees. They tested strength, they tested stretch.

  Speaker 1: They made a net and dropped pine cones into it.

  Speaker 1: Avid's eyes slowly widened. Then Sully said, try swinging what

  Speaker 1: you know, like shoot a web up into the trees

  Speaker 1: and then swing from it like Tarzian or whatever. So

  Speaker 1: Sully shot a strand higher and cautiously leapt, holding on

  Speaker 1: to it with his arms. He swung wildly and shrieked,

  Speaker 1: Then he laughed. Within minutes he was webb, slinging from

  Speaker 1: tree to tree. This is incredible, he yelled, told you.

  Speaker 1: Then Avid landed beside her. Well, now it's your turn.

  Speaker 1: Sully hesitated. Then she focused. A small blast lifted her

  Speaker 1: three feet up in the air. She adjusted, another burst

  Speaker 1: angled her forward. She practiced hovering there with the constant

  Speaker 1: stream of gas. She learns to point it straight down

  Speaker 1: to get her to hover in the air, and off

  Speaker 1: to one side or the other to help her steer.

  Speaker 1: After several attempts and one accidental sideways spin into a bush,

  Speaker 1: she was actually able to stabilize herself. She hovered above

  Speaker 1: the forest floor, grinning. See Avid said, flight sort of,

  Speaker 1: she admitted. They practiced for nearly an hour. Then Avid

  Speaker 1: tilted his head thoughtfully. You know you're always using the

  Speaker 1: back end. Sully frowned. That's where it comes from. But

  Speaker 1: what if it's just gas control, not just farts? She blinked,

  Speaker 1: What are you suggesting? He shrugged. Have you tried burping?

  Speaker 1: She stared, that's disgusting, She said, you, uh, just flew

  Speaker 1: in the air using your bum That's a fair point,

  Speaker 1: she said, So she concentrated. She summoned the same pressure feeling,

  Speaker 1: but this time She tried to do it higher up
• 11:28
  Speaker 1: in her chest. She forced out a small burp, and
• 11:33
  Speaker 1: it echoed louder than expected. The shockwave knocked David backward
• 11:39
  Speaker 1: into a pile of leaves. They froze. David slowly sat up.

  Speaker 1: That was amazing, he said. Sally's eyes widened. She tried

  Speaker 1: again burn, this time a visible ripple of force outward.

  Speaker 1: Avid braced himself and slid backward, front facing propulsion. He declared,

  Speaker 1: way easier to aid. They experimented short burbs for quick shoves,

  Speaker 1: longer urbs for blast waves. Soon Sally was standing her

  Speaker 1: ground while sending Avid flying across the clearing. He retaliated

  Speaker 1: by webbing her boots to a tree. They both laughed
• 12:30
  Speaker 1: so hard they fell over. Then Avid grew thoughtful again.

  Speaker 1: What if you could control the type of gas, he asked. Explain?

  Speaker 1: She said, well, you know, smell, density, flammability. That sounds dangerous.

  Speaker 1: Well maybe we should just try smell first. Avid said so,

  Speaker 1: against her better judgment, Sully concentrated on the worst odor

  Speaker 1: she could imagine. She released a tiny puff. It drifted

  Speaker 1: towards Aviot. He sniffed, His eyes crossed, and he collapsed instantly.

  Speaker 1: Avid she shook him awake. He groaned back to life

  Speaker 1: sleeping gas. He whispered in awe, you made sleeping gas.

  Speaker 1: Sully blinked. They tested again, carefully. This time she adjusted

  Speaker 1: the concentration. She was hoping to make it flammable more

  Speaker 1: methaney easier to catch on fire. Avid gave a tiny

  Speaker 1: spark from his fire breath, and boom, a control old

  Speaker 1: they once again burst into laughter. By sunset, Sully could

  Speaker 1: hover with controlled bursts of toots, propel other things forward

  Speaker 1: with superburps, produce an incredibly smelly sleeping gas, and ignite

  Speaker 1: small flame bursts. Her embarrassment had shrunk into something else, possibility.

  Speaker 1: Do you want to come home with me, she asked David.

  Speaker 1: He hesitated, Hugh, I'm not really ready to face my clan.

  Speaker 1: Then you can stay with us, she said. He agreed,

  Speaker 1: and they walked back together. He was just a little dragon,

  Speaker 1: too small to ride at this point. When they arrived

  Speaker 1: back in Sully's back yard, her mum cried out and

  Speaker 1: pulled her into a hug. Sully, I was so worried,

  Speaker 1: she said. Her dad just looked relieved. We were worried.

  Speaker 1: It's o k, Sully said, confidently. Watch this. She lifted

  Speaker 1: gently into the air, demonstrating her ability to hover using

  Speaker 1: a superpowered blast of gas from her rear end. Then

  Speaker 1: she burped so loudly she blew over all of the

  Speaker 1: chairs around the table. Oh my gosh, that is so cool, Sully. Wow,

  Speaker 1: show me more, her brother Max said, zipping from place

  Speaker 1: to place. So she unleashed a small puff of the

  Speaker 1: silent but deadly type, and her brother instantly fell asleep.

  Speaker 1: her mom nodded slowly. It's really versatile, dear Sully just grinned.

  Speaker 1: Can Avid stay with us? Avid stood awkwardly behind her.

  Speaker 1: Her parents exchanged a look. Well, uh, of course, if

  Speaker 1: he's a friend of yours, he's a friend of ours.

  Speaker 1: beside her was a massive headed figure in a mechanical suit.

  Speaker 1: holographic display. My intelligence confirms that her only power seems

  Speaker 1: to be super farts. That must be a minimal threat.

  Speaker 1: We can go get her next. Sully stepped forward. You

  Speaker 1: her and the little fire breathing spider dragon standing beside her.

  Speaker 1: The man sneered, and then Sully smirked. Avid holed your breath,

  Speaker 1: she said. He inhaled deeply and closed his mouth and

  Speaker 1: nose as much as he possibly could. Sully focused inward

  Speaker 1: and transformed the gas into the smelliest, most sleep inducing

  Speaker 1: type she possibly could, and in a silent but deadly attack.

  Speaker 1: She released it all the rock woman staggered. The super

  Speaker 1: Brain tried sealing his helmet, but it was too late.

  Speaker 1: They both collapsed onto the floor. Sully then used a

  Speaker 1: controlled burp to break her feet free and went and

  Speaker 1: untied Avid, who quickly webbed all the remaining villains in

  Speaker 1: case they woke up. Sully then untied her family. Her

  Speaker 1: dad stood slowly staring at the scene. Her mum blinked

  Speaker 1: keep brainstorming deer. Avid grinned. Whatever the name, it's powerful,
