- 0:00Speaker 1: John Yine Rich Gabby, Hi, Hey, Okay.
- 0:04Speaker 2: So yeah, I've been living on my own for about
- 0:08Speaker 2: a year now. I lived with my parents before and
- 0:11Speaker 2: was ready to move out and have my own space
- 0:15Speaker 2: and it was so exciting. But there it's going good.
- 0:19Speaker 2: But there's like a few things I miss about being
- 0:23Speaker 2: at home. But like the biggest is I hate having
- 0:26Speaker 2: decide what to eat for dinner every night. It's like
- 0:31Speaker 2: the bane of my existence and I want to be healthy,
- 0:35Speaker 2: but by the end of the day, I'm like, I
- 0:37Speaker 2: have such like decision fatigue that I end up eating
- 0:41Speaker 2: chicken nuggets for every dinner. And last week I literally
- 0:44Speaker 2: was exhausted and was just looking in the fridge staring
- 0:48Speaker 2: at it for what felt like an hour, and I
- 0:50Speaker 2: just ended up eating like a handful of shredded cheese
- 0:53Speaker 2: for dinner.
- 0:53Speaker 3: I love. I've had liquorice for dinner before. It's not
- 0:58Speaker 3: the healthiest thing. You know, red kinds when they're fresh,
- 1:01Speaker 3: they're delicious, they are.
- 1:03Speaker 4: I hate planning dinner. It's like literally the bane of
- 1:05Speaker 4: my existence. I'm just like, I don't remember signing up
- 1:08Speaker 4: for that responsibility in like marriage and as a parent,
- 1:12Speaker 4: but it just is, it's my thing. Apparently it's what
- 1:14Speaker 4: we do. So I actually get relieved, like if Scott
- 1:17Speaker 4: has like a work thing, and I get relieved on
- 1:19Speaker 4: the nice where I don't have to like decide what's
- 1:21Speaker 4: for dinner, and I would love to just have a
- 1:22Speaker 4: handful of shredded cheeseeople.
- 1:28Speaker 5: And that's what makes it even harder, is like if
- 1:30Speaker 5: you already like don't want to cook, and like you
- 1:32Speaker 5: don't like cooking, and you have to figure it out,
- 1:35Speaker 5: like these people in.
- 1:36Speaker 3: My house have to eat yourself though, can you just
- 1:39Speaker 3: do I mean, like I would eat I eat over
- 1:41Speaker 3: the sink. Just grab something on the fridge, eat it
- 1:44Speaker 3: over the sink. Then you got no plates to worry about.
- 1:46Speaker 3: But if you have a family like Kyle does, that's different.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Yeah, or Gabby, we use you is just at the
- 1:51Speaker 4: very beginning of the week, make one crock potmeal and
- 1:53Speaker 4: then you'll have dinner the whole week.
- 1:56Speaker 2: I don't know, but then I have to decide what
- 1:58Speaker 2: to do for the crock pot meal.
- 2:04Speaker 5: Well, thank you for sharing that story, Gabby. You have
- 2:06Speaker 5: a great day, and thanks for listening.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 2:09Speaker 5: You know, on the opposite side of what she's saying,
- 2:12Speaker 5: my wife went through this thing. So like, my whole
- 2:14Speaker 5: family's home now, right, everybody's home. They're five of us
- 2:16Speaker 5: and a girlfriend, my son Kept's girlfriend's living with us
- 2:19Speaker 5: for the summer.
- 2:20Speaker 1: I guess, I guess. And we were driving, we had
- 2:23Speaker 1: a long drive yesterday, and my wife and I.
- 2:24Speaker 5: Go in somewhere and she like just started venting about
- 2:27Speaker 5: how these these three boys they've been home for four
- 2:29Speaker 5: days and they haven't like, no one's picked up the
- 2:33Speaker 5: dog poop, no one's taking to the trash, no one's
- 2:34Speaker 5: help with the dishes, you know. And she's like, I
- 2:36Speaker 5: will do the laundry. She goes, do they need to
- 2:38Speaker 5: put something? And she's just venting, inventing, inventing, venting, And
- 2:41Speaker 5: I said, whole on second, I go listen, I remember
- 2:44Speaker 5: when and Kyle, you're at this point. I remember when
- 2:46Speaker 5: we had baseball game, baseball game, basketball practice, boy scouts,
- 2:52Speaker 5: cub scouts, freaking eagles and it was too much and
- 2:55Speaker 5: we were like, when's this going to end? And now
- 2:58Speaker 5: I would give anything to have that time again, right
- 3:02Speaker 5: to realize what that's what that what that's like. So
- 3:04Speaker 5: I said to her yesterday, I go, hey, this could
- 3:07Speaker 5: be the last summer where these guys all come home.
- 3:09Speaker 1: I said, this is a good chance that to a
- 3:12Speaker 1: good point.
- 3:12Speaker 5: You know, I go, so, right now, we are living
- 3:15Speaker 5: now in the college age of the blink of back.
- 3:19Speaker 5: Then I go, so we are probably gonna miss this
- 3:22Speaker 5: time right now. Now, everything you're saying, I agree with you,
- 3:25Speaker 5: and we need to have a meeting with your family.
- 3:27Speaker 1: We're going to.
- 3:29Speaker 5: Have a meeting, and everybody's gonna have to pull their
- 3:32Speaker 5: own weight, like I want to have that meeting. So
- 3:33Speaker 5: we had dinner with my in laws last night. It
- 3:35Speaker 5: was short drive. Everyone got in the car and I'm like,
- 3:37Speaker 5: oh right, listen up, everybody in this car right now.
- 3:41Speaker 5: You all got stuff to do. Someone's got to take
- 3:43Speaker 5: out the trash. Someone's got to do the dishes. Someone's
- 3:46Speaker 5: got to feed the dogs, someone's got to pick up
- 3:48Speaker 5: the poop. You guys got to put your clothes away.
- 3:50Speaker 5: You gotta do all. What are you gonna do? Dad,
- 3:52Speaker 5: I'm supporting this family. I'm breaking free loaders and ducks.
- 3:57Speaker 5: Is like, I'm working on an app that's gonna make
- 3:58Speaker 5: me a multimillionaire. And he starts telling me about this
- 4:01Speaker 5: app that he's got that he's gonna create. It's gonna
- 4:03Speaker 5: be multi billionaire. And it has to do with picking stocks,
- 4:05Speaker 5: and AI rollbout the pickstocks like you. So far, it's
- 4:08Speaker 5: eighty percent proof it works. I've been betting five dollars
- 4:10Speaker 5: and making money. Where's this money you're making by dinner?
- 4:15Speaker 1: Once? Oh nose, you're draining me dry. And then Blake's like,
- 4:19Speaker 1: don't worry, you're gonna miss this time.
- 4:20Speaker 6: I'm not gonna miss this dog. We got home and
- 4:25Speaker 6: I go the dogs would need to eat. And I
- 4:27Speaker 6: got home, I go, touch how about you feed the dogs? Okay,
- 4:29Speaker 6: I'll feed the ducks. So he goes to feed the
- 4:30Speaker 6: dogs and Blake guess what, Dutch just feed the dogs
- 4:33Speaker 6: on his own.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Not on his own. Now I had to tell him
- 4:37Speaker 1: feed the dogs anyway, your poor wife living in the blank.
- 4:40Speaker 5: I don't feel bad for you. I feel bad for Blake.
- 4:42Speaker 5: Someday we're gonna miss this. No anyway, just get all jokes.
- 4:46Speaker 5: Love a side, Love the kids, love a side, all
- 4:50Speaker 5: love a side.
- 4:51Speaker 1: I hate those kids. No, I'm just kidding. I love them.
- 4:53Speaker 1: They're great, good people, just good people.
