- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, coming up, there's a woman that traveled to every
- 0:02Speaker 1: state in the United States and came up with the
- 0:06Speaker 1: seven most overrated tourist spots.
- 0:08Speaker 2: In the United States. So I'm going to give you that.
- 0:10Speaker 1: So as you're traveling for Labor Day, you're going to go, well,
- 0:12Speaker 1: let's not go here because I heard that sucks. So
- 0:13Speaker 1: I'll go over that with him just a little bit. First, though,
- 0:16Speaker 1: big news in Rich's house.
- 0:18Speaker 3: I was talking to my little Italian father yesterday who
- 0:21Speaker 3: is 87 years old and he is. pissed off at
- 0:25Speaker 3: the world because he has to go to a themed
- 0:27Speaker 3: wedding over the weekend. So I'm chatting with him like, well,
- 0:30Speaker 3: I thought you were going to a wedding in the,
- 0:32Speaker 3: like the wine country of Missouri and Herman, Missouri.
- 0:34Speaker 4: And he's like, yeah. Have you ever had a wine
- 0:36Speaker 4: from Missouri? He's like, it's terrible.
- 0:38Speaker 3: He's like, we got to stay at this bed and breakfast.
- 0:40Speaker 3: And he said, uh, that his, so this is my
- 0:44Speaker 3: step-mom's grandkids that they are going to a wedding. And
- 0:49Speaker 3: I guess they proposed to each other in Elfin language.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Like Lord of the Rings elves. So they all have
- 0:56Speaker 3: to dress up like elves. Go to this outdoor wedding
- 0:59Speaker 3: when it's going to be 99 degrees in the middle
- 1:01Speaker 3: of Berman, Missouri.
- 1:03Speaker 4: And my dad's like, Barbara got me these pointy, pointy
- 1:06Speaker 4: ass shoes.
- 1:07Speaker 2: I'm like, wait a minute.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Does she understand that it's like Lord of the Ring
- 1:11Speaker 3: elves or is she dressing you up like Christmas elves?
- 1:13Speaker 3: And it's quiet for a second.
- 1:14Speaker 4: He's like, damn it.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Barbara!
- 1:18Speaker 4: Are these Lord of the Rings elves or Christmas elves? Oh,
- 1:22Speaker 4: I don't know, Frank. We're just going dressed as elves
- 1:24Speaker 4: to the wedding. That's what the grandkids want.
- 1:26Speaker 3: So they're going dressed as, I guess, Christmas elves to
- 1:28Speaker 3: a Lord of the Rings wedding. I'm like, please bring
- 1:32Speaker 3: your iPhone and take pictures.
- 1:33Speaker 4: We must post this on the website. Come Monday morning.
- 1:36Speaker 5: I am actually gagged over here because when you brought
- 1:40Speaker 5: up themed weddings, I was like, oh, that's weird. Like,
- 1:43Speaker 5: I'm actually going to a themed wedding next year.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Oh you are and it's lord of the rings we.
- 1:52Speaker 5: Are getting pointy ears.
- 1:53Speaker 3: And we are dressing up like elves yeah they get
- 1:55Speaker 3: the pointy ears i've.
- 1:57Speaker 5: Never seen lord of the rings it's my best friend's
- 1:59Speaker 5: little brother yeah i will totally into that stuff.
- 2:02Speaker 4: Neither is my dad and at first i was like.
- 2:04Speaker 5: Oh and then they sold me once they said we
- 2:06Speaker 5: can dress up and we i was like we could
- 2:08Speaker 5: just go to the renaissance.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Fair get a bunch of stuff and prepare for It's
- 2:12Speaker 3: so funny because, you know, stepmom Barbara, totally excited to be,
- 2:16Speaker 3: you know, get dressed up and go to a wedding.
- 2:17Speaker 3: My dad's like, I wish, you know, it's like, I
- 2:20Speaker 3: wish I had your knee injury. I could call it sick.
- 2:23Speaker 3: It's going to be awesome.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I've heard of Lord of the Rings.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Weddings i've heard of star wars weddings yes i've heard
- 2:30Speaker 1: of game of thrones wedding.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Which we've i mean we've never been i mean i
- 2:33Speaker 3: haven't been invited to one or have to you know
- 2:36Speaker 3: attend one i don't think i would go no yeah
- 2:39Speaker 3: i said it'd be so fun.
- 2:42Speaker 1: One of my kids hey dad had lord of the
- 2:43Speaker 1: rings wedding yeah you have good good time.
- 2:46Speaker 3: First of all i'm not traveling secondly it's 99 degrees
- 2:48Speaker 3: why am i wearing ears when it's 99 degrees outside
- 2:51Speaker 3: secondly my dad's like that's an abomination because you know
- 2:53Speaker 3: he's very catholic First of all, it's not in a church.
- 2:56Speaker 4: He's, he's bummed about that.
- 2:57Speaker 3: But Oh my God, he was so, he was so
- 3:00Speaker 3: mad and step-mom was so giddy yesterday.
- 3:02Speaker 4: I was just having a great time.
- 3:05Speaker 2: That's fun.
- 3:08Speaker 1: So I was talking about the Ray Gunn documentary on Netflix.
- 3:12Speaker 2: And there's a text on this. Hold on. Where's my
- 3:16Speaker 2: text line? I just had it up. I hit the
- 3:18Speaker 2: wrong button.
- 3:19Speaker 1: If you watch the documentary on, on Ray Gunn, the dancer,
- 3:22Speaker 1: the break dancer, uh, There's a point where she hits
- 3:25Speaker 1: an all-time low.
- 3:26Speaker 2: She's like depressed. She's sad.
- 3:28Speaker 1: And she goes away. She goes to Europe for three months.
- 3:30Speaker 1: And she gets a phone call from Richard Branson. Oh,
- 3:33Speaker 1: the Virgin Airlines guy. And he's like, in my house,
- 3:37Speaker 1: I think he lives on an island. And he's like,
- 3:38Speaker 1: I look outside my window and there's four kangaroos. And
- 3:43Speaker 1: he goes, because of the kangaroos, he thought of her
- 3:47Speaker 1: and called her and changed her life.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Wow.
- 3:49Speaker 1: And there's a text that says, imagine those kangaroos were
- 3:50Speaker 1: never outside Branson's room. would he have still called or
- 3:54Speaker 1: did an invite? Probably not.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Probably not. Probably wouldn't hit him.
- 3:58Speaker 6: The kangaroo move was one of the big moves that
- 4:01Speaker 6: everyone was, you know, parodying online.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Anyway, it's one of the top shows on Netflix right now.
- 4:06Speaker 1: It's Ray Gunn, and we're going to do some break
- 4:08Speaker 1: dancing later on this morning. Raymond, good morning.
- 4:13Speaker 4: Hey, good morning, guys.
- 4:15Speaker 2: What's up?
- 4:16Speaker 7: I just wanted to give a call. I was the
- 4:18Speaker 7: one who called before about the Diamondbacks tickets.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Okay, go ahead.
- 4:24Speaker 7: Well, first I just wanted to say I just wanted
- 4:26Speaker 7: to find any excuse to call Kyle. Okay. But I
- 4:32Speaker 7: just wanted to give a call about Scott, about his voice.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:35Speaker 7: Now, I will say I love all of you guys,
- 4:39Speaker 7: but I have been in love with Kyle since the
- 4:41Speaker 7: meat bikini. And ever since then, it was the best
- 4:45Speaker 7: thing in the world. But I have to say.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Meat bikini was great, yeah. Yeah.
- 4:50Speaker 7: I have to say, though, I always said that Scott's
- 4:53Speaker 7: voice alone was my spirit animal.
- 4:59Speaker 4: But right now, hearing him on the radio.
- 5:02Speaker 7: I mean, I'm 36 years old, hetero man, no judge
- 5:06Speaker 7: against anything of anyone's choices. But for a quick moment,
- 5:12Speaker 7: hearing his voice, I was like, oh, my.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Definitely got a great voice.
- 5:18Speaker 7: That made things a little bit questionable for me. I
- 5:20Speaker 7: was like, what am I feeling right now?
- 5:22Speaker 4: It's like he's the guy. He's the guy.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Now you know. Right?
- 5:27Speaker 7: Like his announcer is jaunty and rich. I always say, like,
- 5:32Speaker 7: that's who I want to be when I grow up.
- 5:34Speaker 5: Scott's voice.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Scott's voice.
- 5:36Speaker 5: I'm like, Kyle, you need to watch out. Raymond's going
- 5:38Speaker 5: to try to get into your guys' relationship.
- 5:40Speaker 4: Moving in on your man.
- 5:42Speaker 7: Moving in on your son.
- 5:43Speaker 2: I know.
- 5:43Speaker 7: I feel torn. I was like, Scott or Kyle? I
- 5:46Speaker 7: don't know.
- 5:47Speaker 1: We need a new meat bikini update or thing.
- 5:52Speaker 5: I cannot believe you did that. Was there saran wrap
- 5:55Speaker 5: on you?
- 5:55Speaker 2: No way. I was there.
- 5:57Speaker 3: I could not.
- 5:58Speaker 6: It's just the meat juices spilling down.
- 6:00Speaker 2: We need some celebrity to do something. Guys, I'm sure.
- 6:07Speaker 7: If we did a petition, people would show up in
- 6:09Speaker 7: person at the radio station to sign up for that.
- 6:11Speaker 7: There would just be lines down the street.
- 6:13Speaker 1: That was all done because Lady Gaga went to the
- 6:15Speaker 1: VMAs dressed in a meat bikini.
- 6:16Speaker 2: So then we did it the next day. It was great.
- 6:19Speaker 2: That was great. Well, Raymond, thanks for calling in.
- 6:21Speaker 7: But I will say, let me say, I'm sorry.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 6:23Speaker 7: I don't want to cut you off. I just want
- 6:24Speaker 7: to say one thing. Peyton, the first time I ever
- 6:29Speaker 7: seen you was when you walked in that video with
- 6:31Speaker 7: that dress and girl, you are gorgeous. You are beautiful.
- 6:35Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 6:36Speaker 2: We need a new Peyton Meat Bikini. Peyton Meat Bikini.
- 6:40Speaker 5: I feel like that's like Lady Gaga's got to do
- 6:42Speaker 5: it again.
- 6:42Speaker 7: I know.
- 6:43Speaker 6: We need something more topical.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I got something topical for you. We should try this.
- 6:47Speaker 2: You see this guy got arrested again for sniffing women's butts. Oh, yeah.
- 6:51Speaker 4: Yeah, the California butt sniffer.
- 6:52Speaker 2: The California butt sniffer.
- 6:54Speaker 5: So you want me to do that?
- 6:55Speaker 1: We'll just send you to Target and try to do that.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Well, you did sell it. We got something for you.
- 7:01Speaker 2: I'm so fascinated by this.
- 7:02Speaker 4: I know he's harmless, but it's a weird fetish.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Crouching down like you normally would, and he'll just look
- 7:07Speaker 3: around and then just try to take the chance to
- 7:09Speaker 3: sniff like any woman's butt. First time I caught him,
- 7:12Speaker 3: I was like, what is this guy doing? He looks creepy.
- 7:14Speaker 4: You want to sniff butt? You could do a sniff
- 7:16Speaker 4: somewhere else.
- 7:16Speaker 2: How do you secretly sniff a butt?
- 7:18Speaker 5: You don't.
- 7:19Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 7:19Speaker 4: You've got to sniff somewhere else. I feel like it's
- 7:20Speaker 4: pretty obvious.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Yeah, but I believe he does.
- 7:21Speaker 5: You're like, I think they're shopping, and you're like, oh,
- 7:23Speaker 5: I have to grab this on the bottom shelf.
- 7:24Speaker 3: You've got to be standing there for a minute, don't you,
- 7:28Speaker 3: for him to get that close?
- 7:29Speaker 7: Gross.
- 7:30Speaker 1: It's weird, because sometimes when we have our meetings in here,
- 7:33Speaker 1: before the show starts, everyone walks in at a different time,
- 7:36Speaker 1: and then I will smell something. I'll be like, I
- 7:38Speaker 1: smell something. And then I have to go to every
- 7:40Speaker 1: person to see what it is, the smell. Like, I
- 7:43Speaker 1: guess I'd be the bad butt sniffer because I'd be like,
- 7:45Speaker 1: I can't smell. I have to get really close. Like,
- 7:49Speaker 1: you have to go pretend to tie your shoe. You
- 7:51Speaker 1: have to pretend to tie your shoe. And then if
- 7:53Speaker 1: the person is walking, like, how does he pull that off?
- 7:56Speaker 2: And here's the thing.
- 7:57Speaker 4: Opposite ways on the escalators? That'd be really tough.
- 7:59Speaker 2: He's probably pulled it off a lot.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:01Speaker 6: Well, he's literally known as the butt sniffer. If you
- 8:04Speaker 6: do it only once or twice, I don't think you're
- 8:05Speaker 6: known as that.
- 8:06Speaker 5: Right.
- 8:06Speaker 1: And then when you're if you're the person that caused
- 8:08Speaker 1: the police, you're like, hey, this guy over here in
- 8:10Speaker 1: aisle seven has been trying to sniff my butt.
- 8:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:13Speaker 2: How do you like what? Like, it's so weird.
- 8:15Speaker 4: You heard the guy say the first time I saw
- 8:17Speaker 4: him sniffing butts. So he's a regular. He's a regular
- 8:20Speaker 4: at that place.
- 8:20Speaker 6: I do like, John Jay, how you said you would
- 8:21Speaker 6: be a bad butt sniffer.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Is there a good butt sniffer? Well, you'd be.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Able to smell the butt, whatever he's trying to sniff. Like,
- 8:29Speaker 1: for me, I can't smell it. I have my noses
- 8:31Speaker 1: clogged up, so I'd be like... Like, it'd be obvious
- 8:34Speaker 1: that I was a butt sniffer.
- 8:34Speaker 6: Oh, you couldn't do it in the sly.
- 8:36Speaker 2: I couldn't do it in the sly. Excuse me, I'm sorry.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Pushing a butt cheek with my nose.
- 8:42Speaker 4: People are like, you know what?
- 8:42Speaker 3: You're a bad butt sniffer. I've had good butt sniffers.
- 8:45Speaker 3: But you're a bad one.
- 8:46Speaker 2: You're terrible at this.
- 8:49Speaker 1: That's our freaking, our next meet bikini. We've evolved to Peyton.
- 8:54Speaker 2: The butt sniffer.
- 8:54Speaker 5: I think it would be a lot better if you
- 8:56Speaker 5: did it, John Jay.
- 8:57Speaker 6: We could do a video, rate this butt sniffer.
- 9:01Speaker 7: Yes.
- 9:02Speaker 2: No, rate them. Like eight out of ten.
- 9:04Speaker 5: It would be like that elevator trend. Who can get
- 9:06Speaker 5: into the elevator the most likes?
- 9:08Speaker 7: Lie.
- 9:09Speaker 2: The thing is, I would get arrested, so I'd have
- 9:11Speaker 2: to try to sniff your butts, and that would gross
- 9:12Speaker 2: me out. Yeah.
- 9:13Speaker 4: You can't go back from that.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Anyway, I was going to tell you guys I had
- 9:16Speaker 1: the most overrated tourist spots in the United States. So
- 9:19Speaker 1: a woman visited all 50 states and then revealed the
- 9:22Speaker 1: seven tourist spots that are the most overrated.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Okay. The most overrated.
- 9:27Speaker 3: So they get big hype. People go there. I would think,
- 9:30Speaker 3: can I guess Mount Rushmore? That's number three on the list.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Number seven on the list, I'm going to go with
- 9:36Speaker 3: the top seven. This is seven, and I will give
- 9:37Speaker 3: you the biggest one last. Salem, Massachusetts. It says just
- 9:42Speaker 3: stay away in October during witching season. That's when most
- 9:44Speaker 3: tourists flock there because of.
- 9:45Speaker 2: The witches, right?
- 9:46Speaker 5: Oh, yeah. Salem witch trials.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Number six is the southernmost point in the continental U.S.,
- 9:51Speaker 1: which is just a statue at the very end of
- 9:53Speaker 1: Key West, Florida. Number five is Bourbon Street. Skip the
- 9:57Speaker 1: tourist trap and head to Frenchman Street instead.
- 9:59Speaker 2: That's in New Orleans. Yeah. Bourbon Street's chaos.
- 10:02Speaker 7: It's so fun.
- 10:03Speaker 3: And if you go right just like one street left,
- 10:06Speaker 3: it's always a good time.
- 10:07Speaker 2: I think you, like, I disagree with her on Bourbon Street, 100%.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Bourbon Street is so fun.
- 10:11Speaker 6: I mean, if you're going there for the experience, don't.
- 10:14Speaker 2: You want the full experience? Yeah.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Well, the number two on this list, which I'll get
- 10:18Speaker 1: there in a second, I disagree. I agree with her completely,
- 10:20Speaker 1: number two. But number four on the list, this is
- 10:24Speaker 1: overrated to her spots. I've been there once, and it wasn't,
- 10:27Speaker 1: it was cool for a second. And I have to
- 10:30Speaker 1: think you guys are going to agree, if you've never
- 10:31Speaker 1: been there.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Four Corners.
- 10:34Speaker 4: I like that that's number four.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Four Corners.
- 10:35Speaker 5: Weren't you just there, Kyle?
- 10:36Speaker 7: Oh.
- 10:37Speaker 6: No, we went to, no, we didn't. We were going
- 10:39Speaker 6: to go there.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Four Corners, the intersection of Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah.
- 10:44Speaker 2: It's like a little thing. It's literally just a circle.
- 10:48Speaker 2: It's cool, but for a second.
- 10:50Speaker 6: Okay, so you're talking, we went to Hoover Dam, so
- 10:52Speaker 6: we stood in two states at once.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 10:54Speaker 5: I was like, I saw states splitting.
- 10:55Speaker 6: I was like, then I know the next step up
- 10:58Speaker 6: would be going to the four corners, because then you
- 11:01Speaker 6: don't stand in two states, you stand in four states
- 11:03Speaker 6: at once.
- 11:03Speaker 5: Isn't that like by the Grand Canyon, like over that way?
- 11:05Speaker 2: It's up there, around there. The number two most overrated
- 11:07Speaker 2: tourist spot is Times Square.
- 11:09Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 11:09Speaker 2: I think that was overrated.
- 11:11Speaker 4: There's so many people.
- 11:13Speaker 2: It's so cool, though. And it's 24-7.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I guess at any point in the world, I heard,
- 11:18Speaker 1: it's the busiest spot in the world.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I believe that.
- 11:21Speaker 1: The number one, according to this woman, the most overrated
- 11:23Speaker 1: tourist spot is the Las Vegas Strip.
- 11:26Speaker 5: The Strip is dead.
- 11:28Speaker 7: Truly.
- 11:28Speaker 4: What do you mean?
- 11:29Speaker 5: Like, I mean, like, if you go and walk down
- 11:31Speaker 5: the Strip in Vegas, in my opinion, like, it is
- 11:33Speaker 5: not the same it was five, six, seven years ago.
- 11:35Speaker 5: I mean, pre-COVID, to be completely honest.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Yeah, they made it pretty expensive.
- 11:38Speaker 2: The Strip's still fun, though.
- 11:39Speaker 6: Like, it's still, like, a great tourist spot. If you've
- 11:41Speaker 6: never been there, it's, like, all of the hotels.
- 11:44Speaker 4: It's such a, like, eye-catching thing.
- 11:46Speaker 6: I'm thinking more like nightlife.
- 11:47Speaker 5: Usually you see people walking around, and I just feel
- 11:49Speaker 5: like it's 1 a.m. in Vegas, and no one's outside.
- 11:52Speaker 6: Yeah, but these are, like, overrated tourist spots.
- 11:53Speaker 2: I would say that wouldn't be overrated. The casinos is
- 11:55Speaker 2: where you want to be. I don't want to walk
- 11:56Speaker 2: around on the Strip anyway.
