- 0:02Speaker 1: To Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and came
- 0:06Speaker 1: Ridge Edge.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Okay, guys, welcome to another episode to Teas in a Pod.
- 0:21Speaker 2: I'm gonna apologize in advance, which I don't think you should,
- 0:25Speaker 2: but I mean, I'm in that stage of my anxiety
- 0:29Speaker 2: where I lose my train of thought a little bit. Oh,
- 0:34Speaker 2: we're here for to cheese and a pod myself in Erica.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Well listen, that's okay. You're totally allowed to be in
- 0:39Speaker 3: that place and I will help you out if you
- 0:41Speaker 3: need it.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Oh, thank you. Yeah, it started. It's normally, like I
- 0:46Speaker 2: just you know, I live with constant anxiety.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Yeah, like just how long has that been since you
- 0:50Speaker 3: were little?
- 0:50Speaker 2: Since I was little? So it's never it's been one
- 0:53Speaker 2: of those things. But then there will be like like
- 0:55Speaker 2: spurts of time where it'll just get really intense and
- 0:58Speaker 2: almost of the time be after a panic attack.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:02Speaker 2: So this past week I drove to the horse show.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Normally I always, you know, will get a ride or
- 1:08Speaker 2: do whatever, and I drove with Slate and it was
- 1:11Speaker 2: when no cars were on the road and it was fine.
- 1:13Speaker 2: But then driving home, Slaate went home with Edwin because
- 1:16Speaker 2: she had to get to her birthday and I hadn't
- 1:17Speaker 2: competed yet, so then I had to drive myself. And
- 1:21Speaker 2: so when I was on my horse about to show,
- 1:24Speaker 2: I started thinking about having to drive home and traffic
- 1:27Speaker 2: and the blah blah blah, and like I went completely black,
- 1:32Speaker 2: like had to yell out to the people outside the ring,
- 1:35Speaker 2: where am I going? Like forgot my course? No, And
- 1:39Speaker 2: I mean this is like nine in the morning, Like
- 1:41Speaker 2: there's no wow. And then I came out and I
- 1:45Speaker 2: had like threw up and no way, yes, gosh teddy.
- 1:49Speaker 2: And then it's now, you know what. We're a couple
- 1:52Speaker 2: of days later and I'm still in it. But it's
- 1:54Speaker 2: like it'll it'll disappear for a little waves. I know,
- 1:58Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:59Speaker 3: But it's when you feel like you're living outside of
- 2:01Speaker 3: your box. Yes, it's like you I yes, I've had
- 2:04Speaker 3: that feeling. It's terrible. And that's why I'm on into deepressants.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I'm on I'm on a zoloft. So
- 2:12Speaker 2: like normally it's pretty much kept at Bay So I
- 2:16Speaker 2: don't know if it's just where I have so much
- 2:18Speaker 2: travel for work and.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Well, you've got a lot going on too. I think
- 2:22Speaker 3: you know, people know you from the pod, they know
- 2:24Speaker 3: you from the show, but I know you differently, and
- 2:27Speaker 3: you've got a lot going on, you know. So it's
- 2:29Speaker 3: a lot and you never know. And that's the thing too,
- 2:32Speaker 3: is that people see others and they think, well, their
- 2:37Speaker 3: life must be great, and yes it is, but there's
- 2:39Speaker 3: also a lot of stuff you don't see, and it
- 2:41Speaker 3: wears on you and we're all just human at the
- 2:44Speaker 3: end of the day. Everybody, Yeah, it sucks.
- 2:46Speaker 2: How are you doing.
- 2:47Speaker 3: I'm okay. I mean, I had a great therapy session yesterday,
- 2:50Speaker 3: which I think is important for me just to continue
- 2:54Speaker 3: to stay stable and steady and just not to have
- 2:58Speaker 3: my emotions take control of myself.
- 3:00Speaker 2: I'm okay.
- 3:00Speaker 3: I'm sorry to hear you feel that way though, but
- 3:02Speaker 3: I'm here. So we're gonna have a good time.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Everybody's gonna we're gonna have a good time talking about
- 3:05Speaker 2: other people's problems. You know what, Let's escape our own
- 3:08Speaker 2: shit and talk about David Badore, because that's.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Really this is really gonna take you right out of
- 3:14Speaker 3: your spot.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Even though I was so saddened to see the reports
- 3:17Speaker 2: that watching True crime doesn't actually help people with anxiety disorder.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Okay, there is a problem with that. I asked my therapist. Okay,
- 3:25Speaker 3: because I'm always asking my therapist. Is shit, I fall
- 3:27Speaker 3: asleep to true crime?
- 3:29Speaker 2: Me too. It's relaxing to me.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Me too. Do you know that is a mostly in women.
- 3:34Speaker 3: I think it's more son like any man that I'm like, oh,
- 3:37Speaker 3: can we watch what are you doing? Yeah? I'm like,
- 3:39Speaker 3: what are you talking about? I relaxed to this? So
- 3:41Speaker 3: I took it up with my son, whos police officer.
- 3:42Speaker 3: He's like, yeah, no, that's a problem. He's like, you know,
- 3:45Speaker 3: I try everything I can to get away from this shit,
- 3:47Speaker 3: and here you are just blasting and lasting it.
- 3:50Speaker 2: As you're falling awape, like it can't be good.
- 3:52Speaker 3: No, it's not. It's like a trauma response. More investigation.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Whomever is out there that watches their listens, please let
- 4:00Speaker 3: us know what we're going.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Yeah why? And also if you need a good show,
- 4:04Speaker 2: Into the Fire on Netflix amazing. Oh, I'm going to
- 4:07Speaker 2: start that. I watched it last night. I mean it
- 4:10Speaker 2: it's good. Okay, I'll watch it all right. So this
- 4:13Speaker 2: first Orange County headline is David Badore's wife Leslie, seeks
- 4:18Speaker 2: domestic violence restraining order. He accuses her of extortion.
- 4:22Speaker 3: But isn't that what he's doing? Oh no, okay, yeah,
- 4:25Speaker 3: totally confused for a hot second, all right.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Essentially, Shannon's picker has always been off.
- 4:30Speaker 3: It seems this way. So far, we're over too, at
- 4:33Speaker 3: least as far as I know her.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Yes, So according to page six, Leslie Badour, there's a
- 4:40Speaker 2: docket for the Superior Court of California, Orange County. It
- 4:43Speaker 2: shows that she filed the request last Tuesday. She claims
- 4:46Speaker 2: her husband has been verbally abusive and harassed her in
- 4:49Speaker 2: front of all of her kids. I recorded the whole
- 4:52Speaker 2: incident and will provide videos to the court. All my
- 4:55Speaker 2: children are terrified by David's behavior. David truly needs help.
- 4:59Speaker 2: He gets an obsessed of mania state. I never know
- 5:01Speaker 2: when David's next mount down will be or how long
- 5:04Speaker 2: they will last. She leads, he once was cruel enough
- 5:07Speaker 2: to call her late father a pathetic loser that had
- 5:10Speaker 2: nothing and say that he deserved to die rough hard words,
- 5:14Speaker 2: hard words, And I'm not discrediting that. Most likely this
- 5:19Speaker 2: probably does happen. But we have to also turn back
- 5:22Speaker 2: time and remember Leslie's Walmart rage video.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Anything about Leslie, do you guys, Walmart rage, what are you?
- 5:32Speaker 3: Are you trying to tell me that Leslie is not
- 5:34Speaker 3: without sin?
- 5:36Speaker 2: I'm trying to tell you that I think both parties
- 5:40Speaker 2: may have a little up rage. Yeah, well, because you
- 5:44Speaker 2: could go back in time and watch that. And she
- 5:47Speaker 2: posted the video herself. It was her having rage out Walmart,
- 5:50Speaker 2: and she posted the video like she was so in
- 5:53Speaker 2: her rage that she thought she was validated in it.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Yeah, let's just quit with the videos. Yeah, let's just
- 5:59Speaker 3: not video anything.
- 6:01Speaker 2: But have you ever been in an argument with someone,
- 6:03Speaker 2: and not on Housewives but in general, Yeah, and picked
- 6:06Speaker 2: up your camera and started.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Absolutely not me neither. Well, I wouldn't even think to
- 6:11Speaker 3: do that. That's not when I'm angry. That's the last
- 6:14Speaker 3: thing I number one, you should never do that, Okay,
- 6:16Speaker 3: never do It's just not something that I would naturally
- 6:19Speaker 3: gravitate towards.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Yeah, like my let me video you.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm really invested in the words that are coming
- 6:27Speaker 3: out of your mouth and how I'm going to destroy them,
- 6:30Speaker 3: not where my camera is, you know, how I'm going
- 6:33Speaker 3: to destroy what you're saying, not you know, oh my god,
- 6:36Speaker 3: let me get this on camera. Yeah I know.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Huh.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Well, that's uh yeah.
- 6:41Speaker 2: But I feel like this has also happened a couple
- 6:43Speaker 2: of times, so I hope that both of them end
- 6:46Speaker 2: up in a better place.
- 6:47Speaker 3: This happened more than once.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Yes, I think they filed for divorce a couple of times,
- 6:51Speaker 2: and they both go back and forth, and and I think,
- 6:54Speaker 2: I don't know if this is in all states, but
- 6:58Speaker 2: every time you file something in the court than it's
- 7:00Speaker 2: public record. So I don't know how much is being
- 7:02Speaker 2: leaked to the press or how much is actually just.
- 7:04Speaker 3: But do we care? I mean, these people aren't on
- 7:06Speaker 3: the show, right.
- 7:08Speaker 2: I mean, we don't care. But it is the number
- 7:11Speaker 2: one headline that was listed by doubtload, so.
- 7:15Speaker 3: We care for today. Okay, great, we care enough to
- 7:18Speaker 3: talk about it with. You have to talk about it with, y'all.
- 7:20Speaker 2: I can tell you I probably care more about that
- 7:22Speaker 2: than I care about Katie insisting that Heather Dubrow called
- 7:26Speaker 2: paparazzi on herself.
- 7:27Speaker 3: We don't care, and Katie, I already told you what
- 7:29Speaker 3: to do last week, which is just say I'm sorry
- 7:31Speaker 3: and let it go. There's a really cool bird out here.
- 7:33Speaker 3: What the fuck is going on?
- 7:35Speaker 2: Oh my god, it's probably Eric's like Anyways, there's a bird,
- 7:39Speaker 2: there's a wild bird out here. Basically, you know, but
- 7:46Speaker 2: she said there is more evidence. She's doubling down on
- 7:49Speaker 2: her claim that Heather Dubrow called the paparazzi. My husband
- 7:52Speaker 2: and I have been in the media for twenty years.
- 7:54Speaker 2: We've known this person, and he is in charge of
- 7:56Speaker 2: a big company that controls the paparazzi, She says, though
- 7:59Speaker 2: she is willing to unveil more details of their conversation
- 8:02Speaker 2: on the matter.
- 8:03Speaker 3: I'm not going to share our personal texts because I
- 8:05Speaker 3: respect his job and I respect his position, and I
- 8:07Speaker 3: wouldn't do that to him. I guess it's going to
- 8:09Speaker 3: look like that's not a good enough receipt, but I'm
- 8:12Speaker 3: going to be respectful to a friend, a dear friend.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Just let it go, babe, let it go.
- 8:16Speaker 2: But also, there's like three big paparazzi sites, So what
- 8:19Speaker 2: is their X seventeen?
- 8:22Speaker 3: You tell me shit. All I know is that I
- 8:24Speaker 3: always end up on the fucking daily Minil. That's all
- 8:28Speaker 3: I know.
- 8:29Speaker 2: And you order a lot of Postmates.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Do you know why? Because I'm number one, I never
- 8:34Speaker 3: learned how to cook Number two. I don't like to
- 8:36Speaker 3: cook a number three. I'm terrorized to go anywhere. I
- 8:39Speaker 3: love a postmate.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Every time the paparazzi gets like during COVID they got
- 8:44Speaker 2: me leaving the Chick fil A with Remember when we
- 8:47Speaker 2: were and I had a mask on, gloves within you a.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Couple of times, girl, ooh my girl.
- 8:56Speaker 2: They never give me looking hot.
- 8:58Speaker 3: They never get anybody looking hot.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Well, the people that call them on themselves, they get
- 9:02Speaker 2: looking hot.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Here's the thing, what you know, I think you know
- 9:09Speaker 3: there are taxes in life. You know how you have
- 9:11Speaker 3: to pay, like federal and state taxes. There's a tax
- 9:15Speaker 3: to being in the public, and that is one of them.
- 9:17Speaker 3: There's a tax. It's like taxes.
- 9:18Speaker 2: You know.
- 9:19Speaker 3: You just have to accept the fact that you're going
- 9:21Speaker 3: to end up on some site looking like shit. And
- 9:24Speaker 3: that's just kind of the way it is. A friend
- 9:25Speaker 3: of mine, friends of mine asked me to go to
- 9:28Speaker 3: Larchmont Village on Saturday, and I was like no, because
- 9:33Speaker 3: I was having anxiety and I knew the paparazzi to
- 9:35Speaker 3: be there, and I didn't want to look ugly again,
- 9:37Speaker 3: and I wasn't going to put in the work to
- 9:39Speaker 3: put on, you know, a face or a little bit
- 9:41Speaker 3: of hair. Yeah, you're like I said, do you know what,
- 9:44Speaker 3: I don't have it in me. I just don't want
- 9:46Speaker 3: to look at it today. And you know what, this person,
- 9:48Speaker 3: these this couple, they're the same things. So they were like,
- 9:51Speaker 3: you know what, we get it.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:52Speaker 3: I was like, thanks for the invite, but.
- 9:54Speaker 2: But I can't do it if you want to hang
- 9:56Speaker 2: out with in our pajamas at one of our homes.
- 9:59Speaker 3: I'm in mostly their home, yeah, because it's real good.
- 10:02Speaker 3: But you know, I hated having to say that to them,
- 10:04Speaker 3: which was my anxiety, which is honestly what you were
- 10:08Speaker 3: talking about is like so bad. I just don't want
- 10:11Speaker 3: to look at another ugly picture of myself to And I.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Think, you know, we'll get kind of into that as
- 10:16Speaker 2: we talk about like self image and what's going on.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Next one is well Alexis Bollino and John Jansen sign
- 10:23Speaker 2: a prenup.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Before he said no I saw that.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Did you see his small little scarf? Did you like it?
- 10:28Speaker 3: I didn't. You know, you always notice when people I
- 10:30Speaker 3: don't notice what these people are wearing.
- 10:32Speaker 2: I'm looking so so interesting to me because you always
- 10:35Speaker 2: I'm such an expression in your own.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Yeah, but I'm so self involved. But you know what
- 10:41Speaker 3: I do pay attention to is people are First off,
- 10:44Speaker 3: if you ask me, it's gonna sound kind of weird.
- 10:46Speaker 3: What someone looks like, I nine times out of ten
- 10:49Speaker 3: can tell you what they feel like to me more
- 10:52Speaker 3: so than what they exactly look like. So I'm never
- 10:54Speaker 3: really looking at someone's clothes. I'm really looking at their
- 10:56Speaker 3: face or how they feel to me. And I noticed
- 10:59Speaker 3: when he said no, he was like no. I thought, okay, cool, yeah, cool.
- 11:04Speaker 2: When when Erica goes cool like it's all bad, it's
- 11:08Speaker 2: all about yeah cool, it's good, cool, cool, okay, but
- 11:13Speaker 2: he says no, and then she says, we talked about it.
- 11:18Speaker 2: And then they asked if she'll take his last name,
- 11:21Speaker 2: and she said yes, right, one hundred percent, she answered,
- 11:24Speaker 2: immediately before sharing her new initials.
- 11:26Speaker 3: A J all the way, Oh that would be her name.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Uh yeah, I mean, look, what are your thoughts on
- 11:33Speaker 2: prenups if you were to get married again?
- 11:35Speaker 3: Well, I didn't have one with Tom, and I probably
- 11:37Speaker 3: should have. I don't know if anything would have saved
- 11:41Speaker 3: me because that going through, but maybe it would have helped.
- 11:45Speaker 3: I did end up with anything anyway, So I don't know.
- 11:48Speaker 3: You know what everybody needs to do their own thing.
- 11:50Speaker 3: I would advise, yes, get a prenup, because nine times
- 11:53Speaker 3: out of ten you just needed an extra layer protection.
- 11:56Speaker 3: And no, it's not romantic, and yes it puts a
- 11:58Speaker 3: damper on the whole love thing, but it's also a
- 12:02Speaker 3: reality of when and if God forbid things turn ugly,
- 12:08Speaker 3: you're protected at least in some way. And nobody ever
- 12:11Speaker 3: wants to think of that.
- 12:12Speaker 2: But would you have been offended when you first met Oh,
- 12:14Speaker 2: not at all.
- 12:15Speaker 3: He was very wealthy. I had nothing.
- 12:17Speaker 2: But would you be offended if he were to say
- 12:19Speaker 2: I need you to sign a prenup in order for
- 12:21Speaker 2: us to get married.
- 12:21Speaker 3: No, because he had everything and I had nothing, So
- 12:23Speaker 3: I would understand why he would want to protect himself.
- 12:28Speaker 3: But I don't think he ever had a prenup. I
- 12:30Speaker 3: was wife number three. I don't think he ever had
- 12:32Speaker 3: a prenup. That's interesting.
- 12:35Speaker 2: I mean I have a prenup. It's not great. Yeah,
- 12:38Speaker 2: it's a real shitty one. I sometimes just think.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Who cares?
- 12:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean.
- 12:45Speaker 3: It was a place you were in at that time.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean my belongings when I met Edwin where
- 12:51Speaker 2: it was an English bulldog one Cardier bracelet and Mercedes
- 13:00Speaker 2: like something like but it was like years year like
- 13:03Speaker 2: super super old.
- 13:04Speaker 3: I had a red Toyota convertible silica and my clothes
- 13:07Speaker 3: were in trash bags. That was all I had nothing,
- 13:12Speaker 3: So anything was up from there.
- 13:13Speaker 2: But I also want to know, like where I got
- 13:15Speaker 2: that Cardia bracelet? Yeah, who gave it? Probably your dad?
- 13:18Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 13:19Speaker 2: It doesn't seem like a gift to you. Maybe it
- 13:21Speaker 2: was from Edwin, like maybe he gave it to me
- 13:23Speaker 2: when you moved in No, like when he was my boyfriend.
- 13:26Speaker 3: Oh well, the fact that you don't remember it makes
- 13:29Speaker 3: me a little nervous. And where where is this bracelet today?
- 13:32Speaker 2: It's no idea.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Don't do separate property bit because this ain't it? Yeah,
- 13:39Speaker 3: this is half? Okay, ef, you got half?
- 13:43Speaker 2: The bulldog's been dead for eight years.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Where are your dogs? You have to you know, I
- 13:47Speaker 3: just want to say, I'm sorry to Bogart, but like
- 13:50Speaker 3: my dog, my beloved Thiago, has been uh he's been
- 13:53Speaker 3: gone for exactly a year. Oh my gosh. But wait
- 13:56Speaker 3: a second, I'm putting out the feelers because it's time
- 13:59Speaker 3: for me to get a new dog. It's time for
- 14:00Speaker 3: me to have a companion, and it's time for me
- 14:02Speaker 3: to get a new dog. So I'm reaching out to
- 14:05Speaker 3: anyone that.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Do you want the same kind of dog I do?
- 14:10Speaker 3: But it's a lot of work. But I don't think
- 14:12Speaker 3: that I'm a small dog girl. Someone changed my mind.
- 14:15Speaker 3: I don't know where are your dogs?
- 14:17Speaker 2: Well, so I had just to take you guys down
- 14:19Speaker 2: my quick dog timeline before we get into this. But
- 14:23Speaker 2: I had, you know, the bulldog when I met Edwin
- 14:25Speaker 2: who passed away of old age. And then we had
- 14:29Speaker 2: Khalisi who you met when you were on the show,
- 14:32Speaker 2: which was she was special. Yeah, she was the best
- 14:34Speaker 2: pom ever. And she took her to a doggy daycare
- 14:39Speaker 2: when we went out of town and she passed away there.
- 14:42Speaker 2: It was traumatic. And then we got these two little frenchies, right,
- 14:45Speaker 2: Havanna Havana and pork Chop Yea, and they were I mean,
- 14:49Speaker 2: I'm just being honest. I might get heat for this.
- 14:51Speaker 2: They weren't like the English bulldogs, like they were hell
- 14:56Speaker 2: on wheels and they chewed up our life and like
- 14:59Speaker 2: I I was going to keep them forever. And then
- 15:02Speaker 2: my brother came into town and you said, and he
- 15:06Speaker 2: lives on like a farm and he's he started playing
- 15:09Speaker 2: with them and he's an artist. He works from home,
- 15:12Speaker 2: and he's like, Teddy, I've always wanted French bulldogs. And
- 15:15Speaker 2: I was like, today is your dad?
- 15:17Speaker 3: I was like, you know what, spec I have a.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Gift for you. And then his girlfriend's looking at me
- 15:22Speaker 2: and she's like, oh wow. And so then I looked
- 15:25Speaker 2: at her and I go, what will it take? And
- 15:27Speaker 2: she's like a Gucci purse. I go go go up
- 15:30Speaker 2: to line. No, I go up to my closet. Pick
- 15:32Speaker 2: anyone you want. Oh.
- 15:33Speaker 3: I thought you were going to take a shop. No oh,
- 15:35Speaker 3: And you let her take a bag.
- 15:36Speaker 2: I let her take a bag and a pair of
- 15:38Speaker 2: air Mays slides and then anything and then the two dogs,
- 15:41Speaker 2: the bag, the air May slides. My brother and his
- 15:45Speaker 2: girlfriend went on their merry way and they live a
- 15:47Speaker 2: happily life ever after.
- 15:49Speaker 3: The country.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Yeah, and now we just foster. We foster dogs so
- 15:52Speaker 2: that like you do, Yeah, we'll foster them and so
- 15:55Speaker 2: that the kids get that experience and that we can
- 15:57Speaker 2: also help the dogs. And while there trying to get adopted,
- 16:01Speaker 2: but like, we travel too much, and I realized it's
- 16:03Speaker 2: not fair to them.
- 16:04Speaker 3: It's not And that was one of the real things
- 16:06Speaker 3: that I've been struggling with was, you know, Okay, Erica,
- 16:09Speaker 3: you're by yourself. Don't rob me. You're by which is
- 16:14Speaker 3: why I'm getting the dog again. You're by yourself. You
- 16:17Speaker 3: live you know, you live alone. I've always had working dogs,
- 16:21Speaker 3: which is Emily's dog, I know, Toko. Yeah, he's beautiful, Emily,
- 16:28Speaker 3: And I thought, you know what, I travel. But at
- 16:32Speaker 3: the same time, like you know, I always have people
- 16:35Speaker 3: stay at the house.
- 16:35Speaker 2: I was going to say, you always have I always have.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I always have people stay at the house. And
- 16:40Speaker 3: I've been looking at these Italian mastiffs.
- 16:44Speaker 2: That's a big ass dog.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's my type.
- 16:47Speaker 2: You know.
- 16:48Speaker 3: I like big dogs. I'm a big she loves big dogs.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Because dogs, what is it that you do what we do.
- 16:56Speaker 2: At the beginning of Housewives.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Here my tagline Erica loves big dogs. Erica loves big dogs.
- 17:06Speaker 2: So in Beverly Hills, we love big dogs.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Well, big dogs need a long leash. I'm a big dog.
- 17:13Speaker 3: I need a long leash, you know. So there you go.
- 17:16Speaker 3: I'll never forget Ida. When I was young, I dated
- 17:18Speaker 3: this man and he was a man and he told
- 17:21Speaker 3: me that when we were talking about, you know, like,
- 17:22Speaker 3: are we dat He's like, Erica, I'm a big dog.
- 17:24Speaker 3: I need a long leash stuck with me for forever.
- 17:26Speaker 3: And you know what, I'm a big dog. I need
- 17:27Speaker 3: a fucking long leash too. I was on a short
- 17:30Speaker 3: leash for many year.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Yeah, you're like, now I need you need one of
- 17:33Speaker 2: those retractable yes, but anyway, unleash.
- 17:37Speaker 3: But anyway, I'm looking for dogs and I would welcome some.
- 17:41Speaker 2: So people should slide into your dms.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Yeah, you know if someone has a re your DMS,
- 17:45Speaker 3: like of course, yeah, I have some interesting things in there. Yeah,
- 17:50Speaker 3: it's never anybody wanting to like hook up, but they
- 17:55Speaker 3: there are interesting people that I've connected with, like different
- 17:57Speaker 3: artists and stuff. So if you have any suggestions or
- 18:00Speaker 3: if you know somebody that's got good, solid dogs, let
- 18:03Speaker 3: me know. Temperament is everything for me.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Yeah, temperament is everything. Because we don't want to see
- 18:09Speaker 2: any of this next thing, which is Alexis Billino bringing
- 18:12Speaker 2: receipts to Real Housewives Orange County Season eighteen reunion but
- 18:17Speaker 2: not video footage.
- 18:18Speaker 3: What does that mean?
- 18:19Speaker 2: I know. When Alexis was a guest on Page six
- 18:21Speaker 2: Virtual reality podcast, she explained how she was going to
- 18:25Speaker 2: expose the truth at the reunion. She said, I know
- 18:29Speaker 2: people make fun of it, but I'm telling you now,
- 18:31Speaker 2: if you're going up against lying and the truth, you
- 18:33Speaker 2: better have the receipts. My future husband is the one
- 18:35Speaker 2: that's being massacred and it's not true. So I am
- 18:38Speaker 2: not going to drop it. I'm going to show the
- 18:40Speaker 2: truth and tell the truth. But if you don't, if
- 18:42Speaker 2: you're not showing the videos, what are you showing?
- 18:45Speaker 3: Well that's the big gotcha, gotcha? What do you have Alexis?
- 18:48Speaker 3: And why are you fighting his fight? Yeah?
- 18:50Speaker 2: Let him do it.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Yeah, let the man do his own work, let him.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Do his shit. Like it actually concerns me. She's been
- 18:57Speaker 2: so right or die for you know her ex Jim
- 19:01Speaker 2: Bollino as well. She's so ride or die for them
- 19:04Speaker 2: all the time. Like if I think there's a moment
- 19:08Speaker 2: where you pull yourself back from doing that. But maybe
- 19:11Speaker 2: I'm wrong, I pus, I just don't speak of the person.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Well, I think that. Look, Shannon versus Alexis has been
- 19:21Speaker 3: very entertaining, and you know, John and the threesome has
- 19:29Speaker 3: been very entertaining. But I don't know what Alexis gets
- 19:33Speaker 3: in the long I'm always looking at the like I
- 19:35Speaker 3: always play the long game, which is where does this
- 19:37Speaker 3: get me at the end of the day. And I
- 19:39Speaker 3: don't know if this gets her anything.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Well, what I have started to think of it.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Does that make sense? Yes? You know what I mean? Like,
- 19:44Speaker 3: what is this really buy you?
- 19:46Speaker 2: Here? And correct me if I'm wrong. I actually started
- 19:49Speaker 2: thinking the fact that Alexis came onto the show and
- 19:54Speaker 2: Shannon's been able to talk about the John Janssen stuff
- 19:57Speaker 2: has really lightened the conversation and regards to the Duy
- 20:01Speaker 2: on like it's actually a savior.
- 20:04Speaker 3: It's actually shifted the focus from the Duy to this
- 20:08Speaker 3: as he's being portrayed bad man and this girl friend Alexis,
- 20:13Speaker 3: that's you know, protecting him and in some ways bullying Shannon.
- 20:18Speaker 3: I mean, if you really want to, if you really
- 20:20Speaker 3: want it down to what's happening.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Here, because then it's like you kind of forget. I mean,
- 20:25Speaker 2: as much as there's empathy for Shannon, I'm like, you
- 20:28Speaker 2: should be so happy that this happened, because if this didn't.
- 20:32Speaker 3: Well you would have heard as d Y d U
- 20:33Speaker 3: I and how you were a hypocrite against Gina and
- 20:36Speaker 3: all the other ships. Yeah, like it would have been
- 20:37Speaker 3: because we know how these things go.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Yeah, Okay, so it starts out with Katie, Emily, and
- 20:53Speaker 2: Jen meet for lunch. Emily says her dress was a
- 20:57Speaker 2: size twelve at the fashion show, and Alexis was a
- 20:59Speaker 2: size two. Emily says she was the only one who
- 21:01Speaker 2: had to bring her own genes. Emily thinks Heather's views
- 21:04Speaker 2: views her as a big girl. I love when Emily
- 21:07Speaker 2: asks if she's valid in her feelings and Katie is like,
- 21:10Speaker 2: oh yeah, girl, because I want anybody but me to
- 21:13Speaker 2: have to go after Heather at this point.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Well, yeah, but I think that Emily truly feels some
- 21:20Speaker 3: way about this.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think. I think that being on a
- 21:24Speaker 2: show like this.
- 21:26Speaker 3: Only enhances it. And I'm telling you, any flaw, any insecurity,
- 21:31Speaker 3: any crack, only becomes more exposed or what is the
- 21:35Speaker 3: word bigger for lack of a better word, on a
- 21:38Speaker 3: show like.
- 21:38Speaker 2: This, Yeah, I mean, I think you can be like
- 21:40Speaker 2: a size double zero and still feel it's however you're
- 21:45Speaker 2: feeling like emotionally, however you're feeling with the group. I mean,
- 21:49Speaker 2: I remember even walking in and somebody making a comment
- 21:52Speaker 2: about like I think I wore like a different colored
- 21:55Speaker 2: lipstick one day and somebody's like, well, that's not a
- 21:59Speaker 2: character for you. Why are you wearing that coat? And
- 22:01Speaker 2: I remember like feeling like having that moment of like shit,
- 22:05Speaker 2: like do I look like I'm trying to like all
- 22:07Speaker 2: these weird insecurities. Sure that happened because it wasn't necessarily
- 22:11Speaker 2: a compliment, but it wasn't necessarily a put down.
- 22:15Speaker 3: No, I see this is and you ride this place
- 22:19Speaker 3: where if I acknowledge something, oh hey, that's different. Now
- 22:24Speaker 3: it's on you to you know, now you're in your
- 22:26Speaker 3: head about are they making fun of me? Or you know,
- 22:30Speaker 3: what does that mean? And then it becomes this whole
- 22:32Speaker 3: big thing in your head because you're also different.
- 22:34Speaker 2: You're accepting. You know that at some point somebody is
- 22:39Speaker 2: going to be out to get you on these shows,
- 22:41Speaker 2: so your defenses are up.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Well, if they aren't, they will be after your first season.
- 22:47Speaker 2: But because I know in real life, you walk into
- 22:50Speaker 2: your friend group and they're like, hey girl, what are
- 22:52Speaker 2: you doing with the red lipstick? And I'm like, try
- 22:54Speaker 2: something new.
- 22:54Speaker 3: You know, like, well you'll be embraced, And here you
- 22:57Speaker 3: run the risk of not being embraced as a matter
- 22:59Speaker 3: of fact, and then you turn inward.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Yeah, but I mean, we'll get more into this conversation
- 23:05Speaker 2: later as the show goes on, because I think that's
- 23:07Speaker 2: where it really.
- 23:08Speaker 3: But she blossoms for her.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Yeah, she starts expressing how she's feeling, and I understand,
- 23:15Speaker 2: regardless of if it has to do with weight or
- 23:18Speaker 2: whatever it may be, we all go through that, yep,
- 23:21Speaker 2: in some capacity. Then Shannon says John's lawyer wants the
- 23:26Speaker 2: videos for blackmail purposes and they're going to file against her.
- 23:29Speaker 2: The reason they wouldn't accept her offer is because they
- 23:32Speaker 2: want to still keep those videos of her allegedly on
- 23:37Speaker 2: the ring camera. Whatever it is that we don't know.
- 23:40Speaker 3: That's just like a threat though. That's like having something
- 23:42Speaker 3: hanging over your head, you know, that's just kind of weird.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Which is actually terrible. There's nothing Also, she doesn't know
- 23:49Speaker 2: what's on there. To me, there's nothing worse than the unknown.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Of course, because if she doesn't remember, then you know,
- 23:55Speaker 3: you're filling in the blanks with the worst case scenarios,
- 23:58Speaker 3: and it's like this thing dangling out there. Well, you know,
- 24:01Speaker 3: we still have this.
- 24:02Speaker 2: It's emotional warfare.
- 24:03Speaker 3: Well, it's just mean.
- 24:04Speaker 2: But also like, if you're so happy in your new
- 24:07Speaker 2: life and somebody's willing to pay you, Like I'm here
- 24:09Speaker 2: to tell you. If if I was suing you tomorrow
- 24:11Speaker 2: for seventy five thousand and you came back and offered
- 24:14Speaker 2: me fifty thousand and never talk about it again, I'd
- 24:16Speaker 2: be like, great, great, that's the end of that fifty
- 24:20Speaker 2: thousand dollars richer, and I'm done right.
- 24:22Speaker 3: And let's have a non disclosure agreement and you know,
- 24:24Speaker 3: I mean a confidentiality agreement. Excuse me and move on
- 24:27Speaker 3: with our lives. You never talk about it. I never
- 24:29Speaker 3: talk about it.
- 24:30Speaker 2: The end, and now I have my money that I wanted.
- 24:32Speaker 2: But this doesn't seem to be about money, No, it isn't.
- 24:35Speaker 2: It's about shame. Yeah, it's about shame. Yeah, she is terrible, which.
- 24:40Speaker 3: Is it's just terrible.
- 24:42Speaker 2: And I'm sure she already feels a shit ton of shame.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't need to add to that. And Alexis
- 24:47Speaker 3: doesn't need to add to that. And John, look, they
- 24:51Speaker 3: they know what they're doing.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not okay. Then Heather was asked to present
- 24:57Speaker 2: at the Glad Awards. Heather and Meredith present the award.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Alexis also at the event to support her children. This
- 25:04Speaker 2: is a nice moment, of course, it is. We love Glad,
- 25:07Speaker 2: We love Glad. I think it's it's good that both
- 25:11Speaker 2: of them have been open about sharing as long as
- 25:13Speaker 2: their kids are comfortable with whatever they're sharing.
- 25:16Speaker 3: As long as their kids are comfortable, which they seem
- 25:17Speaker 3: to be.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Yeah, which they seem to be, and they seem to
- 25:19Speaker 2: be very well loved, and so we love that. Yeah,
- 25:23Speaker 2: there's not not much more to comment. Nothing really happens
- 25:28Speaker 2: at this event of drama's sake, which is nice. Well,
- 25:31Speaker 2: you guys, we do it there. We love to ruin
- 25:33Speaker 2: a charity event.
- 25:34Speaker 3: Yeah, but not please, there's enough. We can wait, you know,
- 25:39Speaker 3: there's enough to go on.
- 25:40Speaker 2: There's nothing more than a housewife loves than to ruin
- 25:43Speaker 2: a charity event. Then Katie Tamra and their daughters go
- 25:47Speaker 2: candle making.
- 25:48Speaker 3: Which I thought was sweet.
- 25:50Speaker 2: That was nice Tamra, I audibly laughed when she's like,
- 25:54Speaker 2: mine smells like medicine because it's just so well.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Yes, she did not pick up, you know, florals. She
- 26:02Speaker 3: picked a stringent.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean that's probably what I would pick because
- 26:05Speaker 2: I have no idea how to do anything arts and crafty.
- 26:08Speaker 3: But you know what you like to smell like? Right?
- 26:10Speaker 2: Yeah, but I don't know.
- 26:11Speaker 3: Are you Do you wear perfume?
- 26:12Speaker 2: I wear Kai, which well I wore it for years
- 26:15Speaker 2: and then there was somebody else on our show that
- 26:18Speaker 2: came in wearing it and I had to stop. They
- 26:21Speaker 2: told you to No, I just smelled them, smelling like
- 26:24Speaker 2: you mean, but.
- 26:25Speaker 3: What about you getting a signature sent now?
- 26:27Speaker 2: Oh?
- 26:28Speaker 3: Well, I don't know.
- 26:29Speaker 2: I mean, is that something you can help me with?
- 26:31Speaker 3: I you know, I recently started collecting perfume, and because
- 26:35Speaker 3: I didn't wear it for so long and now I
- 26:37Speaker 3: do and I really enjoy it. Yeah, I've got some
- 26:41Speaker 3: I got I've I've bought some bottles.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Well, I like the I prefer the oil, yeah, the spray.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Sure, but well, someone sent her something that she can
- 26:51Speaker 3: try out.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Yeah, guys, because you know, I'm having conflicting smell.
- 26:55Speaker 3: Do you like Santa La? Do you like Flora? What
- 26:56Speaker 3: do you like? I have Kai smell like, I don't even.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Know kais I have no, don't. I don't have it on.
- 27:04Speaker 2: I sometimes I put it on, sometimes I don't. I
- 27:06Speaker 2: stopped wearing it when I was on the show, because
- 27:08Speaker 2: then I'd be like, oh, we smell the same.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Well, you need your own signature.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Smell wow, smell scent scent miud smell smeile MoU shmoo
- 27:16Speaker 2: sm But Tama tells them to be careful who they
- 27:20Speaker 2: procreate with.
- 27:21Speaker 3: Amen.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Amen. Sophia says she doesn't want to get married to
- 27:26Speaker 2: have or have kids.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Good for Sophia.
- 27:28Speaker 2: I love that, Sophia, And I mean, I can say this,
- 27:31Speaker 2: I thought the same thing. I wanted to get married
- 27:35Speaker 2: when I was younger, but I didn't want to have kids.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Look, it can change how she feels right now. That's fine,
- 27:40Speaker 3: and so it's great that Sophia feels that way now.
- 27:42Speaker 3: She may not feel that way later. It's all good
- 27:45Speaker 3: even if she does feel that way later. Everybody's allowed
- 27:47Speaker 3: to live their life. Nobody nobody's hurting anybody.
- 27:49Speaker 2: And also she's allowed to express how she's feeling in
- 27:51Speaker 2: the moment. I love that Sophia is kind of just
- 27:55Speaker 2: who she is no matter what. Yes, because she's never
- 27:57Speaker 2: been on the show, we have to remember she's a
- 28:00Speaker 2: essentially been. Her mom has been a part of the
- 28:02Speaker 2: show since Sofia was what is it three years old.
- 28:05Speaker 3: It's kind of like Portia who doesn't know it I was.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Now, but she was never on any season of Orange
- 28:11Speaker 2: County until this one.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Good for her, I mean, for whatever reason. But she
- 28:14Speaker 3: seems totally comfortable, Yeah, and just herself, which is wonderful.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Yeah for you. And then Tamra says Simon was not
- 28:22Speaker 2: a great husband or dad. She says it's hard because
- 28:25Speaker 2: he gave her children, but a part of her hates him.
- 28:30Speaker 3: Well, okay, maybe we keep that part inside. Yeah, I
- 28:35Speaker 3: mean because my mother used to say that about my father,
- 28:38Speaker 3: who you know, I met when I was twenty five.
- 28:41Speaker 3: It didn't go great, but she would say things like
- 28:44Speaker 3: you look like your dad or da da da da,
- 28:46Speaker 3: And I was like eh, And she didn't say it
- 28:48Speaker 3: in a loving way, so that maybe I would have
- 28:50Speaker 3: kept to myself. That's and you know what I mean.
- 28:52Speaker 2: And my biggest thing that I've always said to both
- 28:56Speaker 2: my parents, because their favorite thing to do is when
- 28:59Speaker 2: I pissed them off, to call me the other one's name. Yeah,
- 29:03Speaker 2: Like they'll be like.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Oh, look at look at John. Okay John, you know
- 29:06Speaker 3: what my mother's to do the same thing.
- 29:08Speaker 2: What are you a little Vicky? And I'm like, whoa,
- 29:12Speaker 2: And I hate it.
- 29:13Speaker 3: And I hated it too, And I didn't even know
- 29:15Speaker 3: my dad.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Yeah, like I don't know him, mom, And it just
- 29:19Speaker 2: gives still to this day, they will both it'll still
- 29:23Speaker 2: start to come out and I'll be like, please don't
- 29:25Speaker 2: say it. It's actually bothersome to me because I love.
- 29:28Speaker 2: I have love for both of you, absolutely, and for
- 29:31Speaker 2: you to put it out there as if it's a negative.
- 29:34Speaker 3: Makes me feel weird.
- 29:35Speaker 2: And also, you two chose each other.
- 29:37Speaker 3: I didn't choose you, No, you did not.
- 29:39Speaker 2: For the record, like I wasn't like out there just
- 29:42Speaker 2: like a random looking for Vickian you know, John, I
- 29:45Speaker 2: wasn't looking for Jack and Diane.
- 29:47Speaker 3: I was just you know, I wasn't So I don't
- 29:50Speaker 3: want to hear it, and I agree it makes me.
- 29:53Speaker 3: It made me feel weird too when I was a kid, Oh,
- 29:56Speaker 3: look at your Latin daddy. You look like you're Latin daddy.
- 29:58Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you guys, I still know this, but you know,
- 30:01Speaker 3: and I was like, I don't even know what he
- 30:03Speaker 3: looks like. Mom.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Does she never show you a picture? Yeah?
- 30:06Speaker 3: I met him later. I would show me a picture,
- 30:08Speaker 3: but I didn't think I looked like, but how like, how.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Did she kind of and even introduce that to you? Like,
- 30:15Speaker 2: was there like a photo book or was there anything.
- 30:18Speaker 3: My mother and my grandmother would talk about my father,
- 30:21Speaker 3: and I met my uncle when I was like four
- 30:27Speaker 3: or five, so I sort of knew of them, but
- 30:32Speaker 3: I did not and I heard stories about my father.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Did you guys all live in the same town.
- 30:38Speaker 3: No, he left, okay, so he actually lives on the
- 30:42Speaker 3: West Coast and I lived in Atlanta. I was born
- 30:45Speaker 3: and raised in Atlanta, So no, we did not live
- 30:47Speaker 3: in the same town, so he was nowhere near. And
- 30:50Speaker 3: so like when my mother would get angry, Oh there's
- 30:52Speaker 3: your dad.
- 30:53Speaker 2: You know.
- 30:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not gonna say his name because he didn't
- 30:55Speaker 3: need all that and I don't either, but yeah, yeah
- 30:58Speaker 3: I would. My mother would do the same thing, and
- 30:59Speaker 3: my grandmother a little bit, and I would just be like,
- 31:01Speaker 3: you know, I don't even know this, dude, Why are
- 31:03Speaker 3: you saying that?
- 31:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it doesn't and it doesn't feel complimentary.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Yeah, so maybe Tama would have just kept it short.
- 31:11Speaker 2: But either way, I think that we are seeing that
- 31:13Speaker 2: both Tamra's daughter and Katie's daughter have have a hard
- 31:19Speaker 2: relationship with their dad.
- 31:20Speaker 3: And Katie said that in her confessional, yeah, that they
- 31:23Speaker 3: relate on this level.
- 31:25Speaker 2: And then uh, Shannon and VICKI fly to Saint Louis.
- 31:30Speaker 3: For the Trace to make up. But I guess it's dose.
- 31:32Speaker 2: It's dose. So I had to do some research on
- 31:34Speaker 2: this because the way they present this is as if
- 31:37Speaker 2: it's a well oiled machine that's been going on for years.
- 31:41Speaker 2: You mean the show, the show, the Trace make a show, yeah,
- 31:43Speaker 2: like when you like machine. Oh, sorry to bring myself
- 31:48Speaker 2: into you're like, hold on anyways, the next pretty nice
- 31:50Speaker 2: to let yeah actually actually yeah, yeah, you can buy
- 31:54Speaker 2: tickets now. But they make it seem like there was
- 31:59Speaker 2: a Lee East. I don't know, like you would think
- 32:01Speaker 2: it had been going on for years. How many shows
- 32:03Speaker 2: were there? Three three? Three three shows Trace?
- 32:09Speaker 3: There was three shows, and now there's squattro shows with
- 32:12Speaker 3: dos amgas.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:14Speaker 2: So when they're anybody who's.
- 32:16Speaker 3: Being standards, I'm so sorry.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm so sorry. I have to say, when you
- 32:21Speaker 2: think of something that's a well oiled machine, it's not
- 32:25Speaker 2: three fucking shows. No.
- 32:26Speaker 3: Three shows are basically rehearsal, yeah, and show dress rehearsal.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Three. I mean they could use three more shows to
- 32:33Speaker 2: work on their current show.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure, for sure you need three more maybe
- 32:38Speaker 3: private rehearsals before we put it back on the road. Yeah,
- 32:42Speaker 3: but I gotta you know, the time to reformulate the
- 32:44Speaker 3: show is not in front of the audience.
- 32:46Speaker 1: No.
- 32:47Speaker 3: The tapping. Did you ever tap as a child? Because
- 32:49Speaker 3: I did?
- 32:49Speaker 2: Yes, I did with my mini mouse here of course,
- 32:52Speaker 2: like you.
- 32:52Speaker 3: Know, everybody's shuffle ball change and shuffle step and you know,
- 32:56Speaker 3: heel toe tap, heel toe tap. Yeah, I don't know
- 33:01Speaker 3: that they were giving me their best well and.
- 33:06Speaker 2: Why they're so frustrated after for tam or leaving when
- 33:09Speaker 2: they knew. But then the next thing, I'm like, why
- 33:12Speaker 2: are they acting like they're Taylor and Beyonce? But then
- 33:16Speaker 2: Vicky kept comparing herself to Adele.
- 33:19Speaker 3: The Adele thing was a reach, you know, like the Adele. Yeah,
- 33:24Speaker 3: we're like Adele.
- 33:25Speaker 2: I was like, are you to Lulu?
- 33:27Speaker 3: Like I'm I'm listen. I think that we all admire
- 33:29Speaker 3: certain people.
- 33:31Speaker 2: You know, I could compare my Like, if I was
- 33:33Speaker 2: going to compare myself to someone, I'm trying to think
- 33:35Speaker 2: of who would.
- 33:36Speaker 3: Be like Harymon is the Thief of Joy, Teddy don't
- 33:38Speaker 3: do it right.
- 33:40Speaker 2: But I mean, if I were, it would probably be
- 33:42Speaker 2: somebody who's, you know, a pain in the act. Like
- 33:44Speaker 2: it wouldn't be Adele. It wouldn't be a mega superstar
- 33:49Speaker 2: selling out.
- 33:50Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, look with the world's best voice.
- 33:54Speaker 2: When I can't even figure out my T shirt slingshot.
- 33:57Speaker 3: That was interesting too. Adele does T shirt slingshot. I
- 34:00Speaker 3: did not know that. But she's done at MLB games.
- 34:03Speaker 3: I've seen them done at baseball games, like the Angels
- 34:05Speaker 3: us to love.
- 34:06Speaker 2: It, but they have like a gun that kind of
- 34:08Speaker 2: tests them out.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Maybe not like with a slingshot in a club in
- 34:11Speaker 3: Saint louis Is said Saint Louis. I think I actually
- 34:13Speaker 3: loved Saint Louis. I had a good time there.
- 34:15Speaker 2: I did too. Then Jen asked her son Dawson to
- 34:19Speaker 2: be honest with her about not coming home before curfew.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Dawson says he doesn't want to come to the house.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Dawson says he doesn't have personal space. It would be
- 34:27Speaker 2: better to go to his dad's place. And then Jen
- 34:29Speaker 2: gets emotional and says she'd be better about giving him
- 34:32Speaker 2: his space, but she'll never stop being his mom.
- 34:34Speaker 3: Okay, So Hey, I have a thirty two year old son.
- 34:37Speaker 3: This is par for the course. They want to be
- 34:39Speaker 3: with their dad. They don't like to be near their mother.
- 34:42Speaker 3: Don't take it personally, Jen, I promise you he'll come
- 34:45Speaker 3: back around. It's going to take a little while. But
- 34:47Speaker 3: he's also in my opinion, like you know, you want
- 34:51Speaker 3: boys to want to be independent. You don't want them
- 34:55Speaker 3: to be stuck at home. I'm not saying that is this,
- 34:58Speaker 3: but can.
- 34:59Speaker 2: We do it? Check on how old Dawson is.
- 35:02Speaker 3: He's in high school. I thought, right, But it's okay
- 35:06Speaker 3: to want to live with your dad. I think it's
- 35:07Speaker 3: totally okay to okay with that.
- 35:09Speaker 2: I'm not worried about him wanting to live with his dad.
- 35:12Speaker 3: You do have to come home. You can't break her.
- 35:13Speaker 2: But the structure is what I think is problematic.
- 35:18Speaker 3: He's seventeen. He should be home.
- 35:20Speaker 2: And when she said, I don't want you to get
- 35:22Speaker 2: mad at me when I tell you have to wake
- 35:23Speaker 2: up and go to school, I think, what ends up happening?
- 35:26Speaker 2: I know I did this when I would switch between
- 35:29Speaker 2: both my parents' houses.
- 35:30Speaker 3: Which one was John or Vicky? Which one was more lax?
- 35:34Speaker 3: My mom?
- 35:35Speaker 2: Oh, but I was very manipulative, like I would use
- 35:41Speaker 2: the other parent to get out of certain situations. Daddie, Yes,
- 35:46Speaker 2: because as as I knew that they couldn't work together,
- 35:50Speaker 2: Oh you just played them. Yeah. Then I was like, well, great,
- 35:53Speaker 2: well I have the upper hand in every siture. You're
- 35:56Speaker 2: not talking to each other.
- 35:57Speaker 3: I got my.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Own way, which is I'm not saying Dawson.
- 36:01Speaker 3: Is doing this, but I'm saying Dawson, if you're listening.
- 36:04Speaker 2: But Dawson, if you're not going to school on time,
- 36:07Speaker 2: you're breaking curfew.
- 36:10Speaker 3: It's not acceptable in either home you got. You're seventeen
- 36:12Speaker 3: years old. You have to come. You cannot break curfew.
- 36:15Speaker 3: You need to go to school. Nothing good happens if
- 36:17Speaker 3: you do. If you know, don't go to school and
- 36:19Speaker 3: break curfew. I can promise you that.
- 36:20Speaker 2: But Jen's ex husband did used to work for Jen's
- 36:23Speaker 2: dad and now he doesn't.
- 36:25Speaker 3: Oh so, but her parents look nice. We met her.
- 36:30Speaker 3: I remember seeing her parents on this season.
- 36:32Speaker 2: The next sweet But I did appreciate the conversation where
- 36:36Speaker 2: Jen says that she wants more for Dawson than what
- 36:43Speaker 2: she created for herself. She's like, she's a very honest moment,
- 36:46Speaker 2: and we all want more. I think every parent wants more.
- 36:50Speaker 2: And I kind of appreciate her vulnerability where she will
- 36:55Speaker 2: open up about that kind of stuff because not a
- 36:57Speaker 2: lot of women, not a lot of housewives are going
- 36:59Speaker 2: to do that.
- 37:00Speaker 3: No, and they're not really. She's been criticized for a
- 37:02Speaker 3: lot of things like not having a job, not paying
- 37:04Speaker 3: her bills. We see this scene with her son, So
- 37:08Speaker 3: you do have to give it to her there. You're
- 37:09Speaker 3: right about that. There are a lot of people that
- 37:11Speaker 3: would definitely shield the audience the opposite way, of course,
- 37:16Speaker 3: and you know, try to make that not happen at all.
- 37:19Speaker 2: But then Shannon and Vicky start their show. Vicky wants
- 37:23Speaker 2: to start it with a shot of tequila. I can't
- 37:25Speaker 2: help because I am somebody that thinks ahead thinking that is.
- 37:28Speaker 3: I thought it was a fucking sate Ted Ted thinks
- 37:33Speaker 3: See I didn't. I just thought, well, Vicky's being Vicky.
- 37:35Speaker 3: She's trying to rile up the crowd. This one is
- 37:37Speaker 3: already down with the sabotage.
- 37:39Speaker 2: I fucking thought she did this on purpose, because then
- 37:42Speaker 2: you saw Shannon shrink down.
- 37:43Speaker 3: And say, well, I'm gonna have a sick I'll have a.
- 37:45Speaker 2: Sip because she she also is probably nervous in the
- 37:49Speaker 2: same situation and doesn't feel comfortable, and she knows, she
- 37:53Speaker 2: knows that they could have just brought any cup out there,
- 37:55Speaker 2: could have had a mocktail. I could have apple cider.
- 37:58Speaker 2: She could have had a mocktail. But that didn't even
- 38:00Speaker 2: have to be a discussion. I felt like it was
- 38:02Speaker 2: a discussion because Vicky wanted to make a point of
- 38:07Speaker 2: it that Shannon's still drinking. I can't help it.
- 38:10Speaker 3: I always see that in people, you know, which is
- 38:13Speaker 3: great about you, because I looked the other way, which
- 38:15Speaker 3: is Vicky's trying to, you know, rile up the crowd.
- 38:18Speaker 3: This is what they do. And maybe she just wasn't
- 38:22Speaker 3: thinking about Shannon or something like that. Vicky's in her
- 38:25Speaker 3: own you know, Hey, we got to sell the show,
- 38:26Speaker 3: we got to crowd into it. Whereas you're like, hey,
- 38:29Speaker 3: this is a pure sabotage. Interesting, but I always I
- 38:32Speaker 3: have that natural no. But it's actually, Look, it's not
- 38:34Speaker 3: a bad thing. It's just I didn't see it that way.
- 38:38Speaker 3: And now that you proposed that, But do you think
- 38:40Speaker 3: that Vicky would do that to Shannon? I mean, they
- 38:42Speaker 3: are friends. She was there to support her at the
- 38:46Speaker 3: Traders party.
- 38:48Speaker 2: But I mean she got paid to be there.
- 38:50Speaker 3: So what everything's not about money? Ted? Okay, maybe I'm
- 38:54Speaker 3: wrong here, Erica, Well not everything. I mean, you know,
- 38:59Speaker 3: I've done some things for free.
- 39:00Speaker 2: I was there when she was there, and the whole
- 39:03Speaker 2: time she's like not paying attention. She's ready to go
- 39:07Speaker 2: either way. I think I think it was for show purposes.
- 39:11Speaker 2: Was it to sell out Shannon? Maybe not? But was
- 39:13Speaker 2: it for to try to create good television? Yes?
- 39:16Speaker 3: Okay, but that's why would they bring her in? Is
- 39:19Speaker 3: because people do like to see Vicky on TV and
- 39:22Speaker 3: I think she is good TV. She is good TV
- 39:24Speaker 3: watching her, and she's why she's lasted.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Yeah. Then Heather tells Alexis she should have brought John
- 39:31Speaker 2: to the awards, and Alexis gets emotional. Alexis says, the
- 39:35Speaker 2: legal battle is affecting her. Could could you explain to
- 39:39Speaker 2: me how John suing Shannon over facelift money is emotionally
- 39:43Speaker 2: affecting Alexis?
- 39:45Speaker 3: I cannot, because unless you've personally ensued, which is quite
- 39:48Speaker 3: an experience multiple times, who cares? You know? It's not
- 39:53Speaker 3: your fight and no, it's you know you're you're emotional
- 39:59Speaker 3: because you but then.
- 40:01Speaker 2: I noticed these are but this is the other ship
- 40:04Speaker 2: that I noticed, like clothes, like I noticed, like you
- 40:06Speaker 2: know how some people are really good criers. Yeah?
- 40:09Speaker 3: Were there no tears coming out of her face? I
- 40:11Speaker 3: mean out of her eyeballs?
- 40:13Speaker 1: Well?
- 40:13Speaker 2: No, her entire nose just turned bright red.
- 40:16Speaker 3: But my nose does that, it does?
- 40:17Speaker 2: Oh god, No, your eyes get like sparkling blue and big.
- 40:24Speaker 3: What have you been analyzing the way I cried?
- 40:27Speaker 2: Yes, I analyze how everyone cries. I have not the
- 40:32Speaker 2: good thing about my crying is my lips get really big, teddy.
- 40:36Speaker 3: I don't even know what it is. I didn't even
- 40:40Speaker 3: you don't think I could have never been short for words,
- 40:43Speaker 3: But damn it.
- 40:44Speaker 2: I can analyze every person's cries, except I can't tell
- 40:47Speaker 2: you about Juris because I've never seen her cry. Then
- 40:50Speaker 2: the women write questions on Djenga tiles. I saw that
- 40:55Speaker 2: Alexis pulls. Who do you hate? Alexis says, she hates
- 40:58Speaker 2: the devil? I I have to tell you, Yeah, Alex's
- 41:04Speaker 2: really drove me nuts this entire episode.
- 41:06Speaker 3: I can tell she really got on your nurse.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Why does she bug me so much? In real life?
- 41:11Speaker 2: She didn't bug me that much.
- 41:12Speaker 3: Well, I think you're affected by the show. Well, I
- 41:17Speaker 3: can see why she would wear you down. I mean,
- 41:19Speaker 3: I think you're not the look you know what, you're
- 41:21Speaker 3: not the No, the whole audience is worn down by
- 41:25Speaker 3: this woman. And I say that with love and kindness.
- 41:28Speaker 3: But you know there's something the whole audiences but.
- 41:32Speaker 2: They are they are.
- 41:35Speaker 3: You can see it if you're feeling it. We're feeling,
- 41:39Speaker 3: and imagine what everybody else is feeling. Like, my god, God,
- 41:44Speaker 3: bless her. I don't know her, but she's really worked hard.
- 41:48Speaker 3: She's worked hard for that, has worked hard for that. Wait,
- 41:50Speaker 3: calls her a friend. Soon you're just a friend.
- 41:55Speaker 2: Well that's where I was like, Emily, did you have
- 41:57Speaker 2: one too many espresso?
- 42:00Speaker 3: More teams. Emily's over there calling out the show, and
- 42:02Speaker 3: they let it in.
- 42:03Speaker 2: I can't when they when they love it, it's like
- 42:07Speaker 2: a Bravo, Bravo, fucking Bravo moment. I love people let
- 42:10Speaker 2: it in. But then Gina pulls how big is this penis?
- 42:15Speaker 2: Because there's in past seasons they talked about her boyfriend
- 42:18Speaker 2: having a small penis.
- 42:19Speaker 3: Wait, who Travis has a small piece allegedly?
- 42:22Speaker 2: Wow? Okay, then then Katie pulls, they show me your Yeah,
- 42:28Speaker 2: I don't like that. Then they continue on where Tamra says,
- 42:43Speaker 2: take your pants off, pee in the yard, and then.
- 42:46Speaker 3: Yeah, did she peed on the by the pool? I
- 42:49Speaker 3: was hoping that, Actually, Tamra, you are good TV. You
- 42:54Speaker 3: know how Vicky's good TV. Tamra may be better TV
- 42:57Speaker 3: because this she delivers. She don't give a fuck, she
- 43:00Speaker 3: really doesn't. And I love it until after the fact, right,
- 43:03Speaker 3: I love it about her, and then I go, oh, no.
- 43:07Speaker 2: No, the aftermath is going to be beat.
- 43:09Speaker 3: She's a sweet woman, she really is, and she gets
- 43:11Speaker 3: a lot of shit, but she shows up and she
- 43:14Speaker 3: does you know, she works hard. And I know you
- 43:16Speaker 3: guys like criticize her and shit like that, but she's.
- 43:20Speaker 2: She's a good person. Like she knew about my anxiety.
- 43:22Speaker 2: She's the first person that called me. Like she she
- 43:26Speaker 2: legitimately cares about her friendship and her relationships.
- 43:29Speaker 3: And she goes to extra mouth to entertain you all. Yeah,
- 43:32Speaker 3: she really does.
- 43:33Speaker 2: It's a TV show at the end of the day,
- 43:36Speaker 2: it is.
- 43:36Speaker 3: It's It's tough though, because it's your life on steroids,
- 43:40Speaker 3: being picked apart by not only the other women, but
- 43:44Speaker 3: you know, the public. But Tam shows up.
- 43:46Speaker 2: Tam shows up, then Emily, this.
- 43:48Speaker 3: Is the meat.
- 43:49Speaker 2: This is the meat.
- 43:50Speaker 3: Now we're getting the episode.
- 43:52Speaker 2: It's taken us a minute to get here, and it's like,
- 43:54Speaker 2: bad shit, are you hitting on me? Oh god? Then
- 44:07Speaker 2: this could be the highest rated episode. It's explicit this
- 44:12Speaker 2: episode because Erica is.
- 44:14Speaker 3: An SFW not safe for work. Does anybody even work anymore?
- 44:19Speaker 3: We don't even have that's amazing.
- 44:23Speaker 2: See we work out of my second like the half
- 44:26Speaker 2: of my bedroom.
- 44:27Speaker 3: This is a cool studio. This is great on this place.
- 44:32Speaker 3: This is legit.
- 44:34Speaker 2: Okay. I mean if only I wasn't filled with glass
- 44:37Speaker 2: and we saw.
- 44:37Speaker 3: Well you're talking about that blows out all the imperfections stuff.
- 44:40Speaker 3: For that side lighting that makes me look a million.
- 44:43Speaker 2: I've asked them a million times when before you post
- 44:46Speaker 2: our fucking videos you put it there, put it fill
- 44:48Speaker 2: down because I had a mustache. I was like, it's
- 44:52Speaker 2: this side light, just put this down.
- 44:55Speaker 3: But I like the front. Okay, let's just anyways.
- 44:59Speaker 2: To when you guys see us with a mustache.
- 45:02Speaker 3: You see me with like like extreme increases. I swear
- 45:05Speaker 3: to god, if you met me in real life, I
- 45:07Speaker 3: don't look like that.
- 45:08Speaker 2: It's a real fright. What we're going through here?
- 45:11Speaker 3: Oh for this side lighting.
- 45:12Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, you know this is what happened when
- 45:15Speaker 2: you pod from your bedroom. Then Emily, we're not even.
- 45:17Speaker 3: In your bedroom ring like a big room. I wish
- 45:20Speaker 3: my bedroom was this big.
- 45:22Speaker 2: Then Emily asked Heather why she asked her to bring
- 45:25Speaker 2: genes to the event and not everyone else. Heather says
- 45:28Speaker 2: everyone had their own specific outfits. Emily tells Heather she
- 45:32Speaker 2: got emotional at the event and felt singled out. Heather
- 45:34Speaker 2: apologizes and says she didn't mean it that way. Heather
- 45:38Speaker 2: says some of the women had two changes, and she
- 45:40Speaker 2: wanted to make Emily feel like a star, so she
- 45:42Speaker 2: had three. That that was one of those backhandeds. That
- 45:47Speaker 2: was like the red lipstick comment. It was one of
- 45:51Speaker 2: those like, but I gat I realized that you would
- 45:56Speaker 2: probably come in feeling insecure, so I did the most
- 46:00Speaker 2: to make you feel comfortable, and that is the worst
- 46:03Speaker 2: way you can feel when you're feeling uncomfortable. You know what, though,
- 46:10Speaker 2: do I think anything Heather did was malicious? Absolutely not
- 46:14Speaker 2: until she got to her confessional and said everyone sent
- 46:18Speaker 2: their measurements and hers came back and it was a twelve,
- 46:23Speaker 2: and you know what, it was tight on her. That's
- 46:25Speaker 2: where I was like, hold on, are we into shaming
- 46:28Speaker 2: now at this point? Well, and if you've never actually struggled,
- 46:33Speaker 2: and I love Heather this season, that line probably because
- 46:37Speaker 2: of my.
- 46:39Speaker 3: I get it. It cuts deep, It cuts deep, and
- 46:41Speaker 3: it you know, look, we're all a little snarky, and
- 46:46Speaker 3: we're all a little and this probably just went a
- 46:49Speaker 3: little too far because that's not.
- 46:53Speaker 2: You know, because I didn't necessarily mind tamor I mean,
- 46:58Speaker 2: this isn't me being biased, but tamra Hers felt a
- 47:01Speaker 2: little bit more light in the shade, Like she's like,
- 47:04Speaker 2: I can't believe Heather would say something like that or
- 47:06Speaker 2: do something like that. That's something I would do.
- 47:08Speaker 3: Well, that was the best part about it is when
- 47:09Speaker 3: you're self aware and you can make fun of your Like,
- 47:11Speaker 3: I can't believe she said that, That's something I would say.
- 47:13Speaker 2: Like that, that felt light. It didn't feel but like
- 47:17Speaker 2: when Heather said that, I was like, all of a sudden,
- 47:20Speaker 2: you're making it personal when it wasn't personal before.
- 47:23Speaker 3: How about this? It was just a little bit too
- 47:25Speaker 3: much information. Yeah, just say, well, I you.
- 47:28Speaker 2: Know, so you did know, so you knew exactly, because
- 47:31Speaker 2: before we're believing that you didn't really know. You're sending
- 47:35Speaker 2: the measurements out, people are coming back. But now you're like, well,
- 47:38Speaker 2: actually it was this.
- 47:41Speaker 3: But then, in an attempt to defend your choice, yeah,
- 47:43Speaker 3: I get it, but.
- 47:45Speaker 2: I mean boo boo. But then Emily says, which I
- 47:51Speaker 2: don't know how Alexis could have gotten this part confused.
- 47:55Speaker 3: I love the way this whole fight broke out. And
- 47:56Speaker 3: then Emily's calling Alexis a whack a doodle and a friend.
- 48:00Speaker 3: I really got exciting.
- 48:01Speaker 2: Well, because how did Alexis make this about her? How?
- 48:05Speaker 2: How I cannot understand because all she said was standing
- 48:09Speaker 2: next to Alexis, I didn't feel good in the dress.
- 48:11Speaker 2: And then Alexis like, what do I have to do
- 48:13Speaker 2: with that? I'm going through a lot.
- 48:16Speaker 3: Yeah, let's just be quiet at that moment and just
- 48:18Speaker 3: let Emily finish what she was saying and let Emily
- 48:22Speaker 3: have the moment. You don't have to jump on her moment.
- 48:24Speaker 2: And she also wasn't coming at you, because how you
- 48:27Speaker 2: aesthetically look, she was saying how she.
- 48:28Speaker 3: Felt standing next to you, actually paying you a compliment, Alexis.
- 48:32Speaker 2: But then she didn't stop.
- 48:34Speaker 3: She kept going yeah, and that's when it got a
- 48:36Speaker 3: little nuts.
- 48:37Speaker 2: But then Emily starts to really come on hid. She
- 48:40Speaker 2: tells Alexis to shut up. Yeah, she got upset, but
- 48:45Speaker 2: then Emily asked Heather to chat separately. Heather questions why
- 48:49Speaker 2: she brought it up in front of everyone. Emily says
- 48:52Speaker 2: Heather is being rude and condescending. Heather asked Emily to
- 48:55Speaker 2: be quiet for a second, and Emily tells her to
- 48:57Speaker 2: fuck off.
- 48:57Speaker 3: Yeah, so we're not going anywhere with this were you know?
- 49:00Speaker 2: How do you feel about a one on one after
- 49:02Speaker 2: being things being brought up in a group?
- 49:05Speaker 3: I think a one on one for me is always
- 49:07Speaker 3: more effective because I think when the group starts yelling,
- 49:09Speaker 3: like case in point, when Alexa starts making it about herself,
- 49:12Speaker 3: you get off track and everybody starts yelling and it
- 49:14Speaker 3: becomes loud. I prefer one on one after something like
- 49:17Speaker 3: that because you get off topic.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:21Speaker 3: I really wanted to say, hey, Teddy, you know what,
- 49:23Speaker 3: can I please talk to you because I have something
- 49:25Speaker 3: I'd like to say to you, not in front of
- 49:27Speaker 3: everybody else for everybody else's.
- 49:29Speaker 2: Opinion, right, But if you already have started the conversation
- 49:32Speaker 2: at a table with the group. Then you're it's already
- 49:34Speaker 2: out there.
- 49:35Speaker 3: But it got hijacked. Yeah, it got hijacked. We got
- 49:38Speaker 3: off topic. It became about everybody else's feelings and about
- 49:41Speaker 3: you know, Alexis and everybody else. When Emily was really
- 49:45Speaker 3: trying to talk to Heather about what made her feel uncomfortable.
- 49:48Speaker 2: Now, who didn't really see much this episode?
- 49:51Speaker 3: Gina, Yeah, isn't that what you wanted?
- 49:54Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 49:54Speaker 3: So of producing this show, Well, you're always producing everything, Teddy,
- 49:59Speaker 3: I don't. Probably one of the best producers. She's like,
- 50:02Speaker 3: look at her, she knows anyway, you yeah, you're a producer.
- 50:06Speaker 2: I think that this episode was good, but I'm gonna
- 50:10Speaker 2: have to tell all of our listeners what Salt Lake
- 50:14Speaker 2: City is going to be better. I just watched it.
- 50:17Speaker 3: Really, I've never watched that show. Is it good?
- 50:21Speaker 2: It is so good. I'm loving Orange County what they're doing.
- 50:27Speaker 2: But then you see a full blown shit show, and
- 50:30Speaker 2: then it makes me I have to be honest with
- 50:31Speaker 2: the Erica makes me worry a little bit about Beverly Hills.
- 50:34Speaker 3: Well, you know, look, I can only blow up once
- 50:38Speaker 3: every ten years. I can't, you know, burn down my
- 50:41Speaker 3: life more than once. I mean, there's enough there. There
- 50:44Speaker 3: are multiple people on a show for a reason, Teddy.
- 50:47Speaker 3: Maybe they can get to work.
- 50:49Speaker 2: Oh is that going to be one of Is that
- 50:51Speaker 2: what we're working with here.
- 50:52Speaker 3: It's an ensemble show for a reason. Everybody you know,
- 50:55Speaker 3: has to bring their life forward. There's nothing more I
- 50:58Speaker 3: can give here.
- 50:59Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, thank you guys for tuning in to another
- 51:02Speaker 2: episode of to Teas and a Pod with myself and Erica.
- 51:05Speaker 3: Thanks for having me, guys, Thank you for having me
- 51:07Speaker 3: Teddy of course,
