- 0:00Speaker 1: Matthew Boyd on the bount drunk him out. All sir,
- 0:04Speaker 1: it's strapped rag. I'm not shut him down. Geez struck
- 0:09Speaker 1: came out next ten. Matthew Boyd should get a nice hand.
- 0:15Speaker 2: He's back, Matthew Boyd, back on ft and back in
- 0:19Speaker 2: the big Good to see you. Man.
- 0:20Speaker 3: How you feeling, Hey, guys, feeling feeling good, feeling amazing? Yeah,
- 0:26Speaker 3: and you feel solid. Uh these guys, these guys have
- 0:30Speaker 3: been amazing in rehab and PT the cuppy training staff
- 0:34Speaker 3: and uh, yeah, man, it's been going good.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Good.
- 0:38Speaker 2: I'm glad you're here.
- 0:39Speaker 4: Hold on before we go. Do you like water in
- 0:40Speaker 4: a box?
- 0:45Speaker 5: I like, I don't like it in plastic. I'll say
- 0:47Speaker 5: that cam cannerbox. I'm indifferent. I'll take it over about
- 0:51Speaker 5: drinking out of them, I'll do glass. That's cool, Okay.
- 0:55Speaker 3: I think I think I'm traumatized from the playing summer
- 0:59Speaker 3: ball and forgetting water at home and having a three
- 1:02Speaker 3: week old water bottle that's in the summer heat in
- 1:05Speaker 3: your in your bat bag that tastes like plastic. You know,
- 1:07Speaker 3: I'll take anything outside.
- 1:08Speaker 5: Of that, thank you.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Yes, I have the same thing. Okay, But everybody's had
- 1:16Speaker 2: that like hot plastic water and it's it's a tough
- 1:19Speaker 2: it's a tough look. And AJ was saying that. AJ
- 1:22Speaker 2: was saying to me, he was like, oh, you have
- 1:23Speaker 2: the worst taste. I was like, yeah, in a car,
- 1:26Speaker 2: in in a can. Just I would like to not
- 1:29Speaker 2: have it in plastic as much as possible. I mean,
- 1:31Speaker 2: you can't avoid it all the time, but it doesn't
- 1:33Speaker 2: taste as good with plastic.
- 1:34Speaker 3: I mean, when you're playing a double header in July
- 1:36Speaker 3: and in the Northwest and that's all you have here,
- 1:38Speaker 3: you're still drinking it.
- 1:39Speaker 6: Yeah, you guys don't understand the problem with us old folk.
- 1:45Speaker 6: We used to actually drink out of the sink called
- 1:46Speaker 6: a hose, straight out of the ground. Y'all don't even
- 1:49Speaker 6: know what a hose is. So we used to drink
- 1:51Speaker 6: you guys are talking about. We didn't break water bottles
- 1:53Speaker 6: with us to the games. They literally had a hose
- 1:55Speaker 6: by the Dugoffs and there'd be seven guys drinking out
- 1:57Speaker 6: of the hose at the same time.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Not in Jersey, not in New Jersey. Can't take Jersey water.
- 2:02Speaker 1: You need filters, you need reverse on snow, sigh, you
- 2:06Speaker 1: need everything.
- 2:09Speaker 2: That's funny anyway. So so first off, here, while we're
- 2:15Speaker 2: having fun here, I want to make sure I cleared
- 2:17Speaker 2: this part up because we haven't had you on since
- 2:19Speaker 2: when we initially saw the I know you've addressed this.
- 2:21Speaker 2: When we initially saw the news story, people were writing
- 2:24Speaker 2: it like, oh, his kids hurt him, and then you
- 2:26Speaker 2: came out and said, no, my kids didn't hurt me.
- 2:28Speaker 2: And then we actually on our show made sure we
- 2:30Speaker 2: told everyone. We were like, hey, actually those new stories
- 2:33Speaker 2: were running with something and it was like you get
- 2:35Speaker 2: one word off, like for you being we know you're
- 2:38Speaker 2: one of the nicest guys in the game. You know that.
- 2:40Speaker 2: I know you're not going to say it, but you
- 2:42Speaker 2: just told the story like it is. Hey. I was
- 2:44Speaker 2: leaning down or whatever it is, and then I realized, wait,
- 2:47Speaker 2: something's wrong here, so can you tell it? And then
- 2:49Speaker 2: kind of what happened after that that you had to
- 2:51Speaker 2: clear up.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, So we were it was like one o'clock
- 2:58Speaker 3: night game that evening. I was getting ready to head
- 3:01Speaker 3: out of the house and uh, I was like my
- 3:04Speaker 3: son was playing Legos on the floor and I was
- 3:06Speaker 3: just been literally squatting down like basically going into like
- 3:10Speaker 3: criss cross applesauce. Didn't even get to the floor. My
- 3:13Speaker 3: knee popped and it didn't didn't even hurt. Uh, But
- 3:17Speaker 3: I was on the floor as I tried to get
- 3:19Speaker 3: up from the floor, like I couldn't put weight on it,
- 3:21Speaker 3: and then I couldn't straighten it, and I was like,
- 3:24Speaker 3: I literally as simple as that didn't even you know,
- 3:28Speaker 3: I was going to play with my kids and couldn't
- 3:29Speaker 3: couldn't even get down there, and uh, just a weird thing.
- 3:33Speaker 3: So yeah, I was. That's that's how it happened. As
- 3:37Speaker 3: unglamorous as it sounds, it probably means that I had
- 3:40Speaker 3: a tore miniscus. For a while, I was like, I
- 3:42Speaker 3: didn't really have symptoms or anything like that. But man,
- 3:47Speaker 3: the next day after surgery, I was already thrown and
- 3:50Speaker 3: feeling great and uh yeah, not my kid's fault. My
- 3:53Speaker 3: kids didn't take me out, but uh yeah, he feels
- 3:57Speaker 3: great now.
- 3:58Speaker 1: I honestly want to see AJ try to sitting criss
- 4:00Speaker 1: cross apple sauce, but that's just that's neither here nor there.
- 4:04Speaker 5: But yeah, how much I.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Didn't get to it like like.
- 4:10Speaker 1: This, how much are players playing through things? Can you?
- 4:13Speaker 1: Can you even try to tell fans how much players
- 4:16Speaker 1: play through because I think people see professional athletes and
- 4:19Speaker 1: they say, dude, that dude's one hundred percent. Look at
- 4:22Speaker 1: what he's doing. But the reality is, and maybe you're wrong,
- 4:26Speaker 1: maybe I'm wrong, you're not playing one hundred percent. So
- 4:29Speaker 1: what do guys play through that You're like, I probably
- 4:31Speaker 1: already had a torn meniscus before I crisscross apple sauce.
- 4:35Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean it's not like I was playing through pain.
- 4:38Speaker 5: But like I don't know.
- 4:41Speaker 3: My mentality is you go till go till it's a
- 4:45Speaker 3: no right, And it's not like you're going to be stupid,
- 4:48Speaker 3: you know, you you treat stuff as.
- 4:50Speaker 5: Stuff pops up.
- 4:50Speaker 3: But like I mean, for this instance, like it's it's
- 4:53Speaker 3: one of those things where like I wasn't doing anything
- 4:59Speaker 3: to like my knee. I wasn't getting treatment on it
- 5:03Speaker 3: or anything like that. Like it wasn't an issue that
- 5:05Speaker 3: I felt like it was popping. It was I noticed that,
- 5:08Speaker 3: you know, from the off season on, I had to
- 5:11Speaker 3: pop in my knee when I was in full flection.
- 5:13Speaker 5: But it didn't do anything. It just made a sound.
- 5:16Speaker 5: I mean, older does that.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Sometimes elbow's done that from time to time, you know,
- 5:20Speaker 3: like different body parts make sound sometimes and you see
- 5:23Speaker 3: if it affects you in any way, right, But like
- 5:27Speaker 3: it's one of those things where I got it fixed,
- 5:30Speaker 3: and then in that subsequent week after surgery, I was
- 5:32Speaker 3: throwing and you're you're like starting to load that backside
- 5:37Speaker 3: and we were lucky that I was able to load
- 5:38Speaker 3: it really fast, right, I was. It felt so good,
- 5:41Speaker 3: you know, so soon after surgery that you you're like, oh,
- 5:46Speaker 3: that's I can get into my back knee better than
- 5:49Speaker 3: I could a couple of weeks ago. Like dang, maybe
- 5:52Speaker 3: something actually was going on and it wasn't like I
- 5:55Speaker 3: was feeling pain before, but it's like, man, I'm getting
- 5:58Speaker 3: into a better position to drive forward toward the plate
- 6:01Speaker 3: and whatnot. So guys go through stuff. Guys want to
- 6:05Speaker 3: you guys know, you want to be on the field.
- 6:07Speaker 3: You want to and if like it's it's one of
- 6:10Speaker 3: those things where if you play inevitably throw a baseball
- 6:14Speaker 3: and you know, squat behind the plate and you know,
- 6:17Speaker 3: play in the field for one hundred and sixty two
- 6:19Speaker 3: and you're playing every single day of the week, there's
- 6:21Speaker 3: going to be stuff that goes on.
- 6:23Speaker 5: And this is I think it's our job.
- 6:25Speaker 3: You know and to try to have self awareness and
- 6:29Speaker 3: to work on the things that if you lose motion
- 6:31Speaker 3: or stuff that pops up right, you just you just
- 6:33Speaker 3: fight through it. You find a way to you know,
- 6:36Speaker 3: address issues as they come up, and try to continue
- 6:38Speaker 3: to stay as close to that, like you know, perfect
- 6:41Speaker 3: Yu as you can.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Kratz. I know you love dad jokes. This is not
- 6:46Speaker 2: a joke. Rich's five and one travel Power Bank is

- 6:52Speaker 2: the place issues.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Yeah, one hundred percent. I don't need more tube socks.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I need this because somebody is going to use my
- 6:58Speaker 1: phone that I fully charge charged and then dies halfway
- 7:01Speaker 1: through the softball game that I go to. So this
- 7:04Speaker 1: will lock it in and my friend next to me
- 7:06Speaker 1: who forgot to charge his phone.

- 7:45Speaker 4: Matthew. Are you're active right?
- 7:46Speaker 5: You were activated off the IL No? Not yet.
- 7:50Speaker 3: I mean we had an off day yesterday. I threw
- 7:52Speaker 3: on Sunday and TRIPAA. So well, we'll talk today. I'm
- 7:55Speaker 3: going to start this weekend, you know somewhere.
- 7:57Speaker 5: We'll figure that out. I'm sure after we get to
- 7:59Speaker 5: the field here.
- 8:00Speaker 6: Okay, because my question was going to be, you only
- 8:03Speaker 6: went for you went four innings in Iowa, right, and
- 8:05Speaker 6: now you're rushing. You're rushing to get back to Chicago.
- 8:08Speaker 6: Was it because you were tired of buying spreads in
- 8:11Speaker 6: the bushes? You didn't want to buy spreads in the bushes,
- 8:14Speaker 6: so you want the free food at the big league level.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Okay, I gotta say this, The spreads in the minor
- 8:19Speaker 3: leagues now are pretty dang good like it sunk when
- 8:23Speaker 3: I was in the miners. I'm sure it was even
- 8:25Speaker 3: worse when you guys were in the miners, and I
- 8:28Speaker 3: mean like I was like, I don't I don't know
- 8:30Speaker 3: if Texas Roadhouse or out back is a step up
- 8:32Speaker 3: from this. You know, that used to be like the
- 8:34Speaker 3: we were excited when Brett Lourie or you know, Jay
- 8:37Speaker 3: haff or Brandon Marrow were coming to rehabbit and like
- 8:39Speaker 3: we were gonna we're we're going to get a steak
- 8:41Speaker 3: in a blue and onion. But now it's they got
- 8:44Speaker 3: pretty good stuff. I was trying to find ways to
- 8:46Speaker 3: treat them, and you got to get pretty creative nowadays.
- 8:48Speaker 1: But uh, yeah, so how did you treat them, because
- 8:51Speaker 1: that's what I was going to say, like, no more food,
- 8:53Speaker 1: didn't get the food.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Did not buy Jordan's. That's that's a little price here.
- 9:00Speaker 3: It's a big roster in Triple A. Now no, it's Uh,
- 9:02Speaker 3: we did a coffee car one morning, and uh and
- 9:07Speaker 3: had an eight hour bus ride. So sometimes you got
- 9:09Speaker 3: to take care of the boys with the long bus
- 9:11Speaker 3: ride and off day the next day.
- 9:13Speaker 5: So you know, there's little little things to do in
- 9:16Speaker 5: that sense.
- 9:17Speaker 3: And uh and and yeah, they had a long ride
- 9:20Speaker 3: from Indianapolis back to Iowa. So President treat him after
- 9:24Speaker 3: a day game president days. Yeah, of course, hydrations, hydration.
- 9:31Speaker 6: Yeah, Matthew, I know you didn't take the bus. You
- 9:33Speaker 6: took a plane. Don't even say you took the bus
- 9:36Speaker 6: because I ride.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I drove.
- 9:38Speaker 5: I was in I was in Saint Louis on Saturday.
- 9:40Speaker 5: We with the team. We drove.
- 9:42Speaker 3: I got a It was like a three and a
- 9:43Speaker 3: half hour drive from Saint Louis to Indy and then
- 9:46Speaker 3: like two and a half hours from Indy to UH
- 9:49Speaker 3: Indie to uh Chicago.
- 9:52Speaker 5: So I was I was in a car the whole time.
- 9:54Speaker 4: Yeah, but I know you weren't taking that bus ride. Hey,
- 9:56Speaker 4: I know you wasn't taking that bus ride. They asked me.
- 9:58Speaker 4: I went on rehab one time.
- 10:00Speaker 6: Charlotte was playing in Norfolk and they had to bust
- 10:02Speaker 6: back to Charlotte and they said, hey, you're gonna take
- 10:04Speaker 6: the ten hour bus ride with me.
- 10:05Speaker 4: I'm like, nope, I'm on a plane tomorrow. I'll see
- 10:08Speaker 4: you all in Charlotte. Hey, oh, no, I wasn't taking
- 10:09Speaker 4: the ten hour bus ride. I was like, I'm way
- 10:12Speaker 4: too big league for that joke.
- 10:15Speaker 3: That's yeah, that's I I don't I don't miss those
- 10:18Speaker 3: bus rides in the International and Eastern League. I I'll
- 10:21Speaker 3: take a plane every time it is offered.
- 10:23Speaker 5: I gotta, you know, I got we gotta.
- 10:24Speaker 3: We got a new knee now, so we gotta avoid
- 10:27Speaker 3: the a little less time in the cars better.
- 10:30Speaker 1: You gotta keep it stretched out. That's what the only
- 10:32Speaker 1: exactly right. You don't like it, pitch better, you don't
- 10:35Speaker 1: like the you don't like the bus rides. Pitch better,
- 10:37Speaker 1: and you have pitch better. So you said you were
- 10:40Speaker 1: in Saint Louis. Were you there the day that PCA
- 10:43Speaker 1: hit the homer when they were chanting overrated from the
- 10:46Speaker 1: tarps off crew.
- 10:48Speaker 5: No, I pitched that day. I was. I was on
- 10:50Speaker 5: my way back to Chicago. But I mean it was
- 10:53Speaker 5: a yeah, you don't need to feel that firing for Pete.
- 10:56Speaker 3: He you know, there's sometimes you gotta he's uh, he's
- 11:00Speaker 3: got that motor and he runs hot and and the
- 11:03Speaker 3: best play possible, you know, and you know those that's
- 11:07Speaker 3: just add add and fuel to it, you know, and
- 11:08Speaker 3: he just elevated it. I was, that was impressive, impressive
- 11:12Speaker 3: game and then cap it off in the best play possible,
- 11:15Speaker 3: right to make that play in left centerfield. I mean,
- 11:18Speaker 3: he's a special talent. Man, he can he can do
- 11:20Speaker 3: it all That was fun to watch.
- 11:23Speaker 1: When you're when you're saying, you don't need to fuel
- 11:25Speaker 1: that fire, he's already got to fire burning. How do
- 11:28Speaker 1: you look at it as or how do veterans on
- 11:30Speaker 1: the team look at it when you have a guy
- 11:32Speaker 1: that's that fiery, but then you see when it gets
- 11:36Speaker 1: elevated that you're like, oh, we don't want to squash this.
- 11:39Speaker 1: How how do guys handle that? How do the position
- 11:42Speaker 1: players handle that? Or the team say, you know, do
- 11:44Speaker 1: they do you guys prod the bear or do you
- 11:47Speaker 1: guys say, okay, we just need to pull back the
- 11:49Speaker 1: reins a little bit.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Oh man, I don't think we're in the big leads. Man,
- 11:54Speaker 3: No one needs to be prodded in any way. Right
- 11:56Speaker 3: you're up. You have to show up at Wrigley with
- 11:58Speaker 3: forty forty thousand every night like there's no prodding that's needed.
- 12:02Speaker 3: But I mean, I I'm always of the belief that.
- 12:06Speaker 5: Like you, you.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Can't fake anything. What you got on game days what
- 12:10Speaker 3: you got. And it also doesn't whether you're you're running
- 12:13Speaker 3: up you know, running high or you know you're in
- 12:17Speaker 3: that here in that mode where you can have a
- 12:19Speaker 3: casual conversation. Competing is competing. It doesn't change what you
- 12:22Speaker 3: go do on the field. You just kind of take
- 12:24Speaker 3: wherever you're at, because it'd be lying to yourself.
- 12:27Speaker 5: You walk out.
- 12:27Speaker 3: There for you know, a start in the ALCS, you
- 12:32Speaker 3: know NLCS, and you're running just you're you're you're excited,
- 12:36Speaker 3: like feet off that, playoff that and if you're not there,
- 12:40Speaker 3: you know, and it's a day that you're you're running lower.
- 12:43Speaker 3: You play with what you got because it doesn't affect
- 12:45Speaker 3: your talent, doesn't affect on what you're bringing out to
- 12:47Speaker 3: the mound or what you're bringing in the box.
- 12:48Speaker 5: You know.
- 12:48Speaker 3: I'm just I've always kind of been taught that, and
- 12:51Speaker 3: you know, play off what you got.
- 12:55Speaker 6: Matthew, were you at the Crosstown Did you get to
- 12:58Speaker 6: attend the cross room?
- 13:00Speaker 5: I did?
- 13:01Speaker 6: Did you guys put out a bounty on the girl
- 13:03Speaker 6: who told Pa that he sucks? Because ever since that moment,
- 13:06Speaker 6: I mean, the White Sox have gone like this and
- 13:09Speaker 6: I'm not going to mention the other team that you
- 13:11Speaker 6: play for what they've done.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean it happens coincidence, no bounty, no bounding,
- 13:18Speaker 3: nothing like that. But uh, why so White Sox are
- 13:22Speaker 3: playing good baseball right now. Hats off to him. Man,
- 13:24Speaker 3: they're uh and then they're they're a good ball club.
- 13:27Speaker 3: You know, they got a good lineup, good pitching. And
- 13:30Speaker 3: that was a fun series to be a part of.
- 13:31Speaker 3: It'll be fun to do it again over on the
- 13:33Speaker 3: south or on the north side here.
- 13:35Speaker 5: You know in August?
- 13:36Speaker 4: Did PCA talk to you guys after that? I just
- 13:38Speaker 4: want I don't, I don't know.
- 13:40Speaker 6: I've never seen everything has become so public now, right,
- 13:43Speaker 6: So does he have to He doesn't have to apologize
- 13:44Speaker 6: to his teammates or anything like that, because you guys
- 13:46Speaker 6: are in him, you're in the fight with him. You guys,
- 13:48Speaker 6: get right.
- 13:49Speaker 3: There was no need, no, no, there's I mean, he
- 13:54Speaker 3: said you know, he said what he said to you
- 13:57Speaker 3: know afterwards in the.
- 13:58Speaker 5: Media and all that, and we got his back.
- 14:00Speaker 3: It's you know, it's it's not fun to have people
- 14:03Speaker 3: yell at you like that, you know, and and uh
- 14:06Speaker 3: and and stuff happens. You know, you're you're out there,
- 14:10Speaker 3: you're in the you're in the heat of the moment.
- 14:13Speaker 3: It's that we all make mistakes. They Yeah, it's awesome.
- 14:18Speaker 1: You just got back from pitching and Triple A. Everybody says,
- 14:22Speaker 1: guys that are coming up from Triple A, it's kind
- 14:25Speaker 1: of unfair because a Triple A level isn't as good.
- 14:27Speaker 1: I'm not saying you're throwing shade, but I'm saying, can
- 14:30Speaker 1: you assess where Triple A is now compared to when
- 14:34Speaker 1: I was hitting dingers off you in Triple A?
- 14:39Speaker 3: You remember that hows a long time ago.
- 14:46Speaker 5: Yeah, it's different.
- 14:47Speaker 3: It's different, and that's I mean, that's that's not a
- 14:49Speaker 3: knock to the players that are there. I think it's
- 14:53Speaker 3: it speaks to more how well, it's what happens when
- 14:56Speaker 3: you shrink minor league baseball. I think one thing right
- 15:00Speaker 3: in that sense of what the league's done, and uh,
- 15:03Speaker 3: you kind of push out that generation of veteran players
- 15:08Speaker 3: that are good enough to play in the big leagues
- 15:10Speaker 3: and to take it bats when needed.
- 15:14Speaker 5: You know.
- 15:14Speaker 3: It's I think I think Triple A is more like
- 15:17Speaker 3: Double A was when I was there. Right, It's like
- 15:19Speaker 3: it's a few veterans and a ton of young talent.
- 15:23Speaker 3: I mean, when I was in my first year in
- 15:26Speaker 3: Triple A, our rotation was Felix Dubront, Randy Wolf, Jeff Francis,
- 15:29Speaker 3: Me and Daniel Norris, like we were the young pups.
- 15:32Speaker 5: I was.
- 15:33Speaker 3: I was bringing thirty racks to the field to bring
- 15:35Speaker 3: them on the for a bus ride because Randy Wolfe
- 15:38Speaker 3: told me to, you know, doing chart every day because
- 15:40Speaker 3: Wolfie and Jeff Francis had combined like twenty two years
- 15:43Speaker 3: in the show.
- 15:44Speaker 5: They weren't gonna they weren't gonna make me do that,
- 15:46Speaker 5: you know.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Brendan Ryan and omarn Fonte and Casey McGee in our infield,
- 15:50Speaker 3: like Luke Scott, like these were the Triple A felt
- 15:55Speaker 3: like the big leagues and the approaches at the plate
- 15:58Speaker 3: were that way. Maybe the consistency wasn't that way, because
- 16:02Speaker 3: you know, these are guys that were fighting to get
- 16:03Speaker 3: back to the big leagues for the most part, with
- 16:05Speaker 3: like sprinkled in younger, younger talent.
- 16:07Speaker 5: But yeah, the game it's just different in that sense.
- 16:10Speaker 5: And I wouldn't say it's.
- 16:13Speaker 3: For better or for worse, you know, but I think that, uh,
- 16:18Speaker 3: I think it's unfortunate that there's a there's that that
- 16:21Speaker 3: level of players that aren't able to play Triple A
- 16:24Speaker 3: baseball anymore, because you know, it is the rules and
- 16:27Speaker 3: the things that are.
- 16:28Speaker 5: In place right like it's it's not they're not able to.
- 16:33Speaker 1: I and I want to hit on it one more
- 16:35Speaker 1: time because I feel like this is happening in the
- 16:37Speaker 1: game where guys are prospects, pitchers, position players are getting
- 16:40Speaker 1: called up to do things that that veteran that Brendan
- 16:44Speaker 1: Ryan at the end of his career, that you know,
- 16:47Speaker 1: Omar and Fonte at the end of his career, would
- 16:49Speaker 1: have been called up to fill in for ten days.
- 16:53Speaker 1: But now they're calling the prospect up. Do you feel
- 16:55Speaker 1: like that can not derail but deter the best version
- 17:00Speaker 1: of that prospect that they're now calling up that should
- 17:03Speaker 1: have been a veteran spot that they would have just
- 17:05Speaker 1: then DFA afterwards.
- 17:08Speaker 3: I think it's different. There's our arguments that needed for that.
- 17:12Speaker 3: I think, you know, I think as a young starting pitcher,
- 17:16Speaker 3: right my first two years, even three years, I was
- 17:19Speaker 3: I was up and down and you're trying to find
- 17:21Speaker 3: your way, and like I think, I think some of
- 17:25Speaker 3: that some of that runways gone in a sense now,
- 17:28Speaker 3: you know, because you know Randy Wolf would come up
- 17:31Speaker 3: or Felix Duberant, and you knew you could.
- 17:33Speaker 5: Get a start out of those guys.
- 17:34Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, I you know, it's prospects have come
- 17:39Speaker 3: up at some point, right, but maybe that level of overexposure,
- 17:44Speaker 3: you know, when a guy needs to get a taste
- 17:47Speaker 3: of it, right and then okay, cool, I need to
- 17:50Speaker 3: get sent down. You mak it a in you know,
- 17:53Speaker 3: you had that adjustment period and then you come back
- 17:55Speaker 3: up more prepared. I think probably some of that's a
- 17:58Speaker 3: little bit gone because a lot of these veterans are
- 18:00Speaker 3: aren't there anymore, you know, to a degree.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Wow, you know, we always love these combos. Man, it
- 18:08Speaker 2: was great having you on. Great to catch up. Great
- 18:10Speaker 2: to you.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Back to By the.
- 18:11Speaker 6: Way, Matthew, if you think what White Sox fan said
- 18:14Speaker 6: the PCA was bad, you should have heard the things
- 18:16Speaker 6: that the Cubs fans used to say to me. That
- 18:17Speaker 6: was pg that was like g rated compared to what
- 18:20Speaker 6: they yell at me.
- 18:23Speaker 5: Hey, hey, I played, I played.
- 18:25Speaker 3: I played at US Luor Field for you know, back
- 18:29Speaker 3: when we had to go to the Chicago three times
- 18:31Speaker 3: a year and and and some good teams. You know,
- 18:33Speaker 3: it's there. It's not all rose colored glasses down there either.
- 18:36Speaker 3: It's that was a means it's a bit they let
- 18:39Speaker 3: you know, how how were there? You know, alliances were
- 18:42Speaker 3: you know they didn't like the Tigers.
- 18:43Speaker 5: They don't. They don't like it in a Cubs uniform.
- 18:45Speaker 5: It's it's, it's, it's all good. You know, you.
- 18:48Speaker 6: Gotta be south Side tough, Matthew. You know, you North Siders,
- 18:51Speaker 6: you don't get it. You just got you guys all
- 18:53Speaker 6: up there drinking out of your you know, your champagne
- 18:55Speaker 6: with your pinkies up in your little caviar.
- 18:58Speaker 4: And the south side we grind down there, Matthew.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Grind outside plastic water bottles down there.
- 19:05Speaker 4: We can't even afford the paper ones and.
- 19:09Speaker 2: On the sand tuna fish on the side.
- 19:11Speaker 4: We're lucky if we get a meal. He's talking about
- 19:14Speaker 4: that night. He says, we're lucky if we got a
- 19:15Speaker 4: meal down there.
- 19:17Speaker 5: Oh gosh, oh.
- 19:24Speaker 2: At that time. Let's do it. Let's do it. All right,
- 19:26Speaker 2: Thank you, Matthan, great catching up, But all right, we'll
- 19:29Speaker 2: see you on the weekend. And your start.
- 19:31Speaker 5: That sounds good, guys, see you later.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Ripped in the right center on the corner. All the
- 19:37Speaker 1: corner goes to.
- 19:38Speaker 7: The Marriaga Round sixteen to your final score of.
- 19:42Speaker 4: The Brewers slip their way by.
- 19:44Speaker 1: The Giants in Game one.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Great season so far for Milwaukee, and now we've got
- 19:51Speaker 2: one of their pictures joining us on FT. We're excited
- 19:53Speaker 2: about it. Aaron Ashby is here, Aaron, great to have
- 19:56Speaker 2: you on you having fun? I mean last night obviously
- 19:58Speaker 2: it was quite a bit of fun.
- 20:00Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, yeah, thanks for having me. Guys. It's been
- 20:04Speaker 7: a it's been a it's been a really fun season
- 20:07Speaker 7: for us so far. Man, especially this last month. Feel
- 20:10Speaker 7: like we got some of our guys back and kind
- 20:13Speaker 7: of like clicking on all cylinders. Still feel like we've
- 20:16Speaker 7: yet to play our best ball, and I guess that's
- 20:19Speaker 7: that's a good feeling coming off the month we just had.
- 20:21Speaker 7: But yeah, it's been it's been a ton of fun.
- 20:24Speaker 7: We have a great group here.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Aaron. Did you see the video that we put up
- 20:28Speaker 1: right there? As you're like, are you able to see
- 20:29Speaker 1: that screen?
- 20:31Speaker 7: Yeah? Yeah, I can see. I can see that. I
- 20:34Speaker 7: got one video over here with me and then another
- 20:36Speaker 7: with you.
- 20:37Speaker 1: You and I Now, okay, okay, did you see yourself
- 20:41Speaker 1: on that video?
- 20:42Speaker 7: No?
- 20:43Speaker 3: What?
- 20:44Speaker 1: Why? Why? Why is somebody that's leading the team and
- 20:47Speaker 1: wins not on the highlight video? Shouldn't it be all that?
- 20:52Speaker 1: I mean, Jackson Churio, I get it. Ran I get it,
- 20:55Speaker 1: and then the miss whoopid wins and all, yeah, more
- 21:00Speaker 1: wins than everybody.
- 21:02Speaker 7: No, these are man, It's it's so weird. I've anytime
- 21:07Speaker 7: someone asked me about I'm just like, I got no idea,
- 21:09Speaker 7: like it's it's it's it's a weird thing because I
- 21:15Speaker 7: and and winds don't count the same. You know, the
- 21:18Speaker 7: game doesn't think of wins the same anymore. But it's
- 21:21Speaker 7: definitely a team effort. Dude, like these these guys when
- 21:25Speaker 7: they come up our offense, putting the bats together. You know,
- 21:29Speaker 7: it's usually at a point in the game we're usually tied,
- 21:32Speaker 7: and you know that that. I feel like most of
- 21:36Speaker 7: the time it can go to the starter, so but
- 21:39Speaker 7: certainly happy to be contributing in the way that I am.
- 21:43Speaker 1: I don't care what other people think. What do you
- 21:45Speaker 1: think about the wins? What do you think as as
- 21:49Speaker 1: a player, Because it's always talked about, wins doesn't mean
- 21:52Speaker 1: as much as they used to. What do you think
- 21:54Speaker 1: as a player on the Milwaukee Brewers, who are in
- 21:56Speaker 1: first place in the nationally Central.
- 21:59Speaker 7: I think that anyway you can help contribute to the
- 22:08Speaker 7: team to get a win is important. And I think
- 22:12Speaker 7: as a pitcher. Putting up zeros as our job, and
- 22:16Speaker 7: so if I'm doing that, that's important. And then for
- 22:21Speaker 7: for the offense to come through and score runs. I
- 22:25Speaker 7: guess when I'm in the game. Is has been a
- 22:28Speaker 7: cool thing the first two months of the season. Aaron
- 22:32Speaker 7: does have a nickname for you, not not that he's
- 22:37Speaker 7: told me, Not that he's told me. I haven't. I
- 22:39Speaker 7: haven't earned a nickname yet.
- 22:41Speaker 6: So so we used to have, you know, we used
- 22:43Speaker 6: to have a nickname for guys who got all the
- 22:44Speaker 6: wins out of the bullpen Wes Vultures.
- 22:47Speaker 7: Yeah, the voulture he MURVH hasn't specifically hit me with
- 22:51Speaker 7: that one yet, but the rest of the team has.
- 22:55Speaker 7: So I think that's good. When I was when I
- 22:58Speaker 7: was here in twenty one, Suitor, Brent Suitor, one of
- 23:03Speaker 7: my favorite teammates, was the vulture of the team. I
- 23:06Speaker 7: think he had like ten wins by the break or
- 23:09Speaker 7: something crazy and or maybe in the year, and he
- 23:14Speaker 7: every time he came in from getting getting a Vulture win,
- 23:17Speaker 7: he would they'd have a vulture statue in his locker.
- 23:21Speaker 7: And so I haven't. I haven't gotten there yet. I
- 23:24Speaker 7: don't know if that's coming, but uh yeah, nothing from
- 23:29Speaker 7: Murph though.
- 23:30Speaker 6: Okay, well that's weird because Murph has nicknames for everybody.
- 23:33Speaker 6: So if he hasn't gotten you one yet, you might
- 23:35Speaker 6: He probably has one. He just hasn't told you about
- 23:37Speaker 6: it yet.
- 23:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:38Speaker 7: It could be behind closed doors, or maybe it's not
- 23:42Speaker 7: a good sign that I don't have a nickname from
- 23:44Speaker 7: him yet.
- 23:45Speaker 4: No, you're doing all right. He likes you.
- 23:47Speaker 5: He likes you.
- 23:49Speaker 6: My question, My other question is is I had you
- 23:53Speaker 6: do games when you were starting, right, I called a
- 23:55Speaker 6: couple of games as you was a starter. What's the
- 23:57Speaker 6: different what's the biggest difference that you've noticed between starting
- 24:01Speaker 6: and being kind of a long reliever slash swing guy
- 24:05Speaker 6: at different roles.
- 24:07Speaker 7: Yeah, I think so when you're starting, you kind of
- 24:10Speaker 7: feel this maybe like freedom to maybe have like cruise
- 24:16Speaker 7: control on throughout the game. And I think that can
- 24:19Speaker 7: help you as a starter when you get in that
- 24:23Speaker 7: when when you start cruising in like the third, fourth,
- 24:25Speaker 7: fifth inning, that can be like beneficial to you. And
- 24:29Speaker 7: then out of the bullpen, man, it's like that door
- 24:32Speaker 7: opens up. You walk out of the door and it's
- 24:33Speaker 7: like balls the wall for however many pitches until I
- 24:38Speaker 7: tell you to stop. So I think it's helped me
- 24:41Speaker 7: develop as a pitcher to attack guys early and often
- 24:45Speaker 7: and get ahead on guys and put guys away. And
- 24:50Speaker 7: so I think I've learned a lot about myself pitching
- 24:54Speaker 7: out of the bullpen. And just like I feel like
- 24:58Speaker 7: I get if I went back to start, I could
- 25:00Speaker 7: bring that into like those first one, two, three innings
- 25:05Speaker 7: where that's that's pretty important, like shutting the game down
- 25:09Speaker 7: and getting that tempo set for your team. So I
- 25:14Speaker 7: think that's that's been the biggest change in like the
- 25:17Speaker 7: biggest thing that I've learned about it.
- 25:20Speaker 1: So you're saying you could be like a professional opener.
- 25:25Speaker 7: No, I mean, I don't know. I don't know if
- 25:27Speaker 7: I want to be a professional opener. That would be cool.
- 25:30Speaker 7: I guess that there's an actual role for that. But yeah,
- 25:35Speaker 7: just just like setting the tone, I don't think I
- 25:38Speaker 7: ever did a great job of setting the tone early
- 25:41Speaker 7: in my career. When I started, it was always like
- 25:43Speaker 7: traffic early, a blow up inning kind of like in
- 25:47Speaker 7: the third or fourth and like never never really gave
- 25:50Speaker 7: myself a solid foundation to start on. I had good,
- 25:53Speaker 7: good starts, maybe like three good starts, but it was
- 25:58Speaker 7: never like what these guys do now, like mis does
- 26:02Speaker 7: so well, of like setting the tone early and dominating
- 26:06Speaker 7: early and then you kind of like hit that cruise
- 26:08Speaker 7: control in the fourth, fifth, sixth inning in it. Man,
- 26:12Speaker 7: it's just what those guys do. Harrison too, like they're
- 26:17Speaker 7: they're really good at that.
- 26:19Speaker 1: But is that something you could have learned in the
- 26:21Speaker 1: minor leagues or was it you needed to face big
- 26:23Speaker 1: league pitching to see that they're not chasing out of
- 26:26Speaker 1: the zone and you're not just racking up your walks
- 26:28Speaker 1: when you're a starter trying to like cruise through the
- 26:31Speaker 1: first half of the game and you never make it
- 26:33Speaker 1: to the second half.
- 26:34Speaker 7: Yeah, exactly. I think. I think in the minor leagues
- 26:37Speaker 7: it's certainly easier to flip over a lineup three times
- 26:41Speaker 7: when you get up here, Like, guys make adjustments. If
- 26:43Speaker 7: you you dominate, you know, first time through the order,
- 26:47Speaker 7: it was second time through the order, They're they're making
- 26:49Speaker 7: an adjustment to get you out of the game. And
- 26:53Speaker 7: so and I was just never great at making the
- 26:57Speaker 7: counter adjustment to that. And so I think I've learned
- 27:00Speaker 7: that coming out of the bullpen now of like dominating
- 27:05Speaker 7: guys and then you know, I rarely see a lineup
- 27:08Speaker 7: two times through, but I feel like my mindset has
- 27:11Speaker 7: changed on just attacking hitters and getting after it and
- 27:18Speaker 7: kind of the confidence and whatever comes with, you know,
- 27:22Speaker 7: experience and being in the big leagues for the last
- 27:24Speaker 7: couple of years.
- 27:25Speaker 1: You mentioned somebody that was my very first bullpen I
- 27:28Speaker 1: caught when I got traded over to the Brewers in
- 27:30Speaker 1: twenty eighteens. And this man was sweating the entire bullpen,
- 27:34Speaker 1: throwing eighty two to eighty four miles an hour, pulling,
- 27:38Speaker 1: pulling sweat from his armpits right here. And now do
- 27:42Speaker 1: you know I'm talking about Suitor Bee. Yeah, get get
- 27:45Speaker 1: He gets right in there, I mean all shut over
- 27:47Speaker 1: the fence and he gets right in there and he
- 27:50Speaker 1: he's sweating, sweating. But anyway, he got thrown out of
- 27:53Speaker 1: his first game, first game ever. Did you see him
- 27:56Speaker 1: get thrown out?
- 27:57Speaker 7: No?
- 27:58Speaker 1: No, okay, if you read a tweet here, I'll read
- 28:01Speaker 1: it for you. But Fred Souter on his first ejection
- 28:04Speaker 1: not the coolest way to get ejected, but one of
- 28:06Speaker 1: the funnier ways to get ejected. He stood out there,
- 28:10Speaker 1: it was the standoff, and the umpire threw him out. Now,
- 28:16Speaker 1: one do you think Sooner deserved to be thrown out?
- 28:20Speaker 1: And two? Is this a tired Is this kind of
- 28:23Speaker 1: a tired thing that made me tired?
- 28:27Speaker 7: It's tired. Yeah, I'm I'm out on it. I I
- 28:33Speaker 7: don't know it's so it's it's like a playful thing
- 28:38Speaker 7: to me. It's like playful eyewash. I don't know it's
- 28:44Speaker 7: I if I were pitching, if I were the starting
- 28:47Speaker 7: pitcher and one of my guys is like out there
- 28:49Speaker 7: jacking around on the line with another guy on the
- 28:51Speaker 7: other team, I'm like, I'm about I feel like I'm
- 28:54Speaker 7: about to go to war, and you guys are like
- 28:57Speaker 7: playing this little game. I mean, I listen, I've laughed
- 29:01Speaker 7: at it before. I think it's funny. But I think
- 29:03Speaker 7: if I were the starting pitcher and I'm like trying
- 29:07Speaker 7: to get it, I'm about to go out there and compete,
- 29:12Speaker 7: I'd be like, get off the line, get off the line,
- 29:14Speaker 7: let's go. We're about to go. And so I'm kind
- 29:18Speaker 7: of out on it. But I get why. I get
- 29:20Speaker 7: White guys think it's fun and fun to.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Do because it's because it's suitor Bee. Maybe you're like, ah,
- 29:27Speaker 1: I feel a little bit bad but I love this.
- 29:28Speaker 1: We're gonna clip it and we're gonna send it to him.
- 29:30Speaker 1: I love that.
- 29:31Speaker 7: We should send it to him. Suiter Bee is one
- 29:34Speaker 7: of my all time favorite teammates. He's huge, like just
- 29:41Speaker 7: teaching me kind of a way to be a pro
- 29:43Speaker 7: and he's a pros pro and he's the man. So
- 29:47Speaker 7: love that guy.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Is there something else that is what did you say?
- 29:52Speaker 1: I wash? I wash shenanigans. I don't know what words
- 29:56Speaker 1: you said, But is there something else in the game
- 29:58Speaker 1: that's like.
- 29:58Speaker 7: That, that's I wash?
- 30:01Speaker 1: Or that like yeah, or that like gets in like
- 30:03Speaker 1: just isn't you're not You're not four? But people are like, oh,
- 30:06Speaker 1: it's so cool.
- 30:09Speaker 7: I I would say, like celebrating pictures, this is gonna
- 30:14Speaker 7: be a hot hot topic. But pictures celebrations, I think
- 30:17Speaker 7: their eye wash.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Like all of them are closers or like the entrance
- 30:22Speaker 1: to most all of them anything. So you just want
- 30:25Speaker 1: to strike music.
- 30:26Speaker 7: I think I think walk out music's fine. I think
- 30:28Speaker 7: walk out music's fine. I just I've never been one
- 30:33Speaker 7: to like celebrate. I think I think you're just You're
- 30:37Speaker 7: just supposed to do your job. Your job's to put
- 30:40Speaker 7: up a zero and then I mean, I get I
- 30:42Speaker 7: get I and I'm not like one of the guys
- 30:44Speaker 7: that's like, oh this is terrible. I'm just like, I
- 30:46Speaker 7: don't know. I think it's eye wash.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Then you don't like you don't like pimp and homers
- 30:54Speaker 2: on the other side, No.
- 30:56Speaker 7: I think a homer is harder to hit than a
- 30:59Speaker 7: clean inning for picture. I think I think there becomes
- 31:03Speaker 7: I think there becomes a time where you've gone like
- 31:09Speaker 7: a bat, flip whatever. I think I think a lot
- 31:13Speaker 7: of our guys actually do it in a really graceful way,
- 31:17Speaker 7: just like admire it and then kind of drop the
- 31:19Speaker 7: bat or whatever, like JB and Yell. I think have
- 31:22Speaker 7: the best when they get one Bryce to like just
- 31:26Speaker 7: lean back. Lo Kane used to do it, lean back,
- 31:31Speaker 7: admire it, whatever, and then jogged the basis. I think
- 31:34Speaker 7: it's perfect. So yeah, I'm not I don't know, maybe
- 31:38Speaker 7: different in that way pictures.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Lok Lo Kane used to do it because his feet
- 31:43Speaker 1: hurt and his legs were tired.
- 31:44Speaker 7: That's the body is tired body.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Some old Kansas city got them good years from Lo Caine.
- 31:55Speaker 7: In Milwaukee, Uh in Milwaukee showed me.
- 31:58Speaker 5: Love Milwaukee's.
- 32:01Speaker 1: But you know you know Lokay and I played with
- 32:03Speaker 1: Locate at eighteen too. But you talk about celebrating, we
- 32:07Speaker 1: can't have a brower on without asking your reaction to
- 32:10Speaker 1: the Abner your rebay stuff and just just what just
- 32:14Speaker 1: what you heard post and and like more more so
- 32:19Speaker 1: like Abner as a person.
- 32:21Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, So I think when when Abner did that,
- 32:25Speaker 7: I think we were kind of like, whoa, you know,
- 32:28Speaker 7: there's there's something more behind that than what Abner usually does.
- 32:33Speaker 7: And so obviously like he came out apologized and and
- 32:38Speaker 7: he he felt bad. We kind of talked to him
- 32:42Speaker 7: about it, and like Abner's Abner's that guy that's just
- 32:45Speaker 7: like full of energy and one another one of my
- 32:49Speaker 7: favorite teammates. Like he's ready every day, same guy every day,
- 32:55Speaker 7: And so when that happened, it was just like he
- 33:00Speaker 7: pitches with so much emotion. It's like you can understand
- 33:03Speaker 7: where it came from. And so I think he learned
- 33:07Speaker 7: from from his mistake, and obviously hopefully it doesn't happen again.
- 33:12Speaker 7: But yeah, just like he's he's one of those guys
- 33:17Speaker 7: that it means so much and it's part of like
- 33:21Speaker 7: what makes him so good. And so he you know,
- 33:26Speaker 7: had a shortcoming there, but I think we moved on
- 33:30Speaker 7: from it. It's been good.
- 33:33Speaker 2: Hey, what do you think of the rivalry right now
- 33:36Speaker 2: with the Cardinals just playing off that obviously you know,
- 33:38Speaker 2: like Ali Marmol was saying some stuff I know, like
- 33:42Speaker 2: just so you know, like fans love that stuff. I mean,
- 33:44Speaker 2: I'm sure you know that. Like it makes you know,
- 33:47Speaker 2: May twenty fifth a little bit more interesting with a
- 33:50Speaker 2: little more pop. So we want to see teams, you know,
- 33:53Speaker 2: we sure you want to be friends with everybody and
- 33:56Speaker 2: hug and say hello, but like we want to see
- 33:58Speaker 2: some teams have some some beef with each other and
- 34:00Speaker 2: be like, yeah, I don't like them. I want to
- 34:01Speaker 2: beat them. You know, fans, I think I don't think
- 34:04Speaker 2: there's any fan that's like I want every team to
- 34:06Speaker 2: just love each other.
- 34:08Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, you know, I think like and over the
- 34:14Speaker 7: course of the season, like things like that are abound
- 34:16Speaker 7: to happen, and I think that they like are can
- 34:20Speaker 7: be good for both teams and can also be bad
- 34:24Speaker 7: for teams. So I think when when like confrontation like
- 34:28Speaker 7: that happens, I think as long as it like makes sense,
- 34:33Speaker 7: like if there's valid reasons on maybe both sides, like
- 34:36Speaker 7: it is probably good for the game. It's it's good
- 34:39Speaker 7: for like the competition and like wanting to go out there.
- 34:43Speaker 7: It's you know, both fan bases are more into it,
- 34:48Speaker 7: and I think it creates like a competitive a competitive
- 34:52Speaker 7: environment that's like fun to watch.
- 34:55Speaker 2: So yeah, certainly, Well said, Yeah, it's it's okay to
- 35:01Speaker 2: not like your opponent like you. You can feel that
- 35:03Speaker 2: between the lines. Yeah, that's cool. I'm into it. Hey,
- 35:07Speaker 2: let's let's finish on this on a fun note. So
- 35:10Speaker 2: the only thing I can be an expert on, perhaps
- 35:12Speaker 2: on this show is I know electronic music quite well.
- 35:16Speaker 2: So you've had I don't know if are you still
- 35:18Speaker 2: rolling with Nemino with your entrance song? Okay, so yes,
- 35:23Speaker 2: I've been. I've been on that train for a while.
- 35:24Speaker 2: He's really good. He's like he's been around for a minute,
- 35:27Speaker 2: but he's really like broken through with some hits lately.
- 35:30Speaker 2: So when I heard it, especially all postseason long, it
- 35:33Speaker 2: would be running that's good taste. I was like tip
- 35:37Speaker 2: of the cap to someone who's getting deep in the scene.
- 35:40Speaker 2: So any origin to.
- 35:41Speaker 7: It, Yeah, it was just a so so Sala and
- 35:48Speaker 7: I we we work out together in the weight room
- 35:53Speaker 7: before most games, and that's kind of the the genre
- 35:56Speaker 7: we go down to work out, like the ten ten
- 36:00Speaker 7: minute prime before the game. And it's just kind of
- 36:05Speaker 7: a moment last year where we would play our music
- 36:08Speaker 7: in the weight room and then the clubhouse kind of
- 36:10Speaker 7: was vibe into it, and so we would come in
- 36:13Speaker 7: from the weight room and put it on the clubhouse
- 36:15Speaker 7: and just start kind of, for lack of a better words, vibeing.
- 36:20Speaker 7: I guess it's just Yeah, the boys loved it, and uh,
- 36:24Speaker 7: it's kind of like what carried carried us through August.
- 36:28Speaker 7: I felt like like it was when you hit the
- 36:30Speaker 7: dog Days of August. It is like before the game
- 36:34Speaker 7: and we're all just kind of like jacking around and
- 36:36Speaker 7: being goofy in there. So it was, uh, that's kind
- 36:38Speaker 7: of where it came from. And yeah, it's been it's
- 36:43Speaker 7: been a good, good walk out. I've enjoyed it.
- 36:46Speaker 2: Yeah, it's good, dude, good choice, well played. Appreciate one
- 36:50Speaker 2: one rack, I can give you fifty. But have you
- 36:51Speaker 2: have you heard it's Murph.
- 36:53Speaker 7: These are food for the soul.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Yeah, and he's got a bunch of rippers to dive
- 37:00Speaker 2: in if you haven't gotten to some others for the Okay,
- 37:05Speaker 2: there you go. We can go an hour on that
- 37:07Speaker 2: on the side someday. But respect appreciate it. And there
- 37:10Speaker 2: are many others that don't even know ball that have
- 37:12Speaker 2: seen that and they're like, oh, this guy knows what's up.
- 37:15Speaker 2: So you've got some fans outside the sport. Yeah, hey,
- 37:18Speaker 2: well good talking you man. Really enjoyed the conversation. Hope
- 37:21Speaker 2: you did too, And good luck the rest of the
- 37:23Speaker 2: weight we'll catch at some point later in the season.
- 37:26Speaker 7: Awesome, Thank you guys, thanks for having me appreciate it.
- 37:28Speaker 2: Thank you.
