There's a new t shirt coming out for the month of August. Yes. So make sure you go buy a shirt. It greatly s ⁓ supports the show. Producer Scooter and myself. Speaking of producer scooter, how the hell are you? You look good. Yes, I know it's a spray tan. No, I don't want one. Yes, you missed the spot under your second chin. Anyway, so I hope everybody is having a fantastic Thursday. It is Thursday. July sixteenth, twenty twenty six. I hope everybody's having a fantastic morning so far. As you're listening to this, I will be either on my way to or sitting in a classroom doing more classroom-esque stuffs to get more certifications because training is everything. Yes, yes. Yesterday was a pretty good day in training. It wasn't too bad. I actually have had the instructor before and So I am outside of a classroom setting recently and I was kind of like the ⁓ go to person to help instructor demonstrate things along with answering questions and things. So it was a good it was a good class. And I'm the I'm the type of person when I'm in these classes, I rarely like sit in the back. Like I'm usually trying to get up front so I can actually see what's going on and be a part of what's going on, because if I'm not interacting, the information does not stick. Okay. So Of course there's my happy ass sitting like ⁓ in the front of the room ahead of everybody else where everybody's hiding in the back. I'm like, nah, give me all the info. I'm here for it. Let's go. I mean, you're stuck there for all those hours anyway. You might as well make it go quick. So anyway. ⁓ yeah, so a lot of the chores went to went to class yesterday, got done, gonna be doing the same thing today. And came home, had to do some running around, went and picked up two deep freezers for the restaurant. So went and picked up two deep freezers, did a little bit more running around, took one of the vehicles to the car wash, cleaned it out, did a little bit more running around, had a good dinner. The wife made ⁓ turkey burgers, so we had lettuce wrap turkey burgers and some chicken breasts and some salads. It's good. You know, it's good. And ⁓ that was relatively it. Big exciting, big exciting hump day for me. So I imagine today we'll follow suit the same way. Nothing really exciting, no exciting plans coming up for the weekend. I hope you guys have good plans though coming up for the weekend. I hope you got something exciting planned. Maybe you're going to the beach, taking that summer vacation. I'd love to hear what you guys do for vacation, because everybody has like a different ideal of what they do and what's like vacation to them. And it all stems from something weird, like a good nostalgic childhood memory of like going to the mountains so they vacation in the mountains. Or it's a good nostalgic childhood memory of road tripping somewhere so they do road trips, right? So I'd love to hear what yours are. Email me. Doomdaily show at gmail dot com or go to the website and use the audio feature by pressing the button at the top of the screen and record us a nice little audio clip. Maybe we'll use it on the show. Maybe we won't. Maybe we'll sell your information to China. Maybe we won't. You never know. ⁓ I don't think I don't think we're gonna sell your information to China. Although I don't know what producer scooters doing over there. He's he's got those eyes going on. He might be trying to sell your information to China. We'll see. Yes. We're enjoying the liquid death. Then we're going to be stacking coffee and protein shakes and off rocking and rolling for the day. So ⁓ yeah that's that's relative relatively about it. I don't I don't have anything ⁓ exciting to talk about in this first segment of the show other than, you know, you guys out there are what make the show Fantastic. The more you share it, the more it grows. The more you post things on your Facebook page, the more you share it with a friend. The more you if you're on Spotify right now Spotify right now and you click share and you share it to a buddy or friend or text them the link or whatever. It helps us grow. Okay. And that's what these shows need to stay afloat, to keep their heads above water. So make sure, like I'm always t telling you, make sure you're sharing the show. You know, give me that IRL, that one Week in real life interaction where you're telling a friend, family, or coworker about the Doom Daily show. If I could take all the time out of my day and producer Scooter could take hours out of his day making me sound good, you guys could take that 30 seconds to talk about the show and share it out. It's minimal effort, guys. It really is. Or buy a t-shirt to support the show. Because that also helps. Now, as things progress in the realm of the show, I'm hoping eventually we get some like writers and things. You know, I'm hoping that's That's what comes. I'm hoping I've got people picking apart stories and sending me things like, Hey, I found out about this today. You need to read about that on the show. Maybe we'll get to that point of progression to where it's like it starts getting a little bit smoother running, you know, like a well oiled machine. But producer scooter keeps us in line pretty good. So I think we're ⁓ I think we're doing all right. Anyway, we'll be right back after these messages. Can't get enough of Jester Dooms? Check out his other show, It's Doomsday Podcast, available on all podcast platforms. That's It's Doomsday Podcast. Back to the show. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Doom Daily Show. I'm your host, Jester Dooms. You know the rest. Okay. On yesterday's show, I made mention of something, and that something was I haven't heard about Ukraine a lot in the news lately. But wouldn't you know it? Now we have an article. It's amazing how this happens. It's almost like we have a magic eight ball or something. I I don't know. Like it's it's just wild. Okay, so on the Epic Times by Jill McLovin, EU signs. pact with Ukraine on joint weapons production. The European Union signed on to a joint weapons production deal with Ukraine on july fifteenth, solidifying the region's support for the country's defense in its ongoing conflict with Russia. Dun dun dun. President of the European Commission Ursula von Der Leelin Leon, maybe, who was in Ukraine to attend the country's Statehood Day and President Vladimir Zelensky announced the new EU Ukraine Defense Industrial Partnership in Kviv. Am I saying that right? Kviv or is it Kyiv? Kviv. in quotations, we will bring together the best of our drone ecosystems underpinned by a drone deal, Von Derleen Von Deleen said. Von der Leen retired her reiterated her support for Zelensky and the European Union's commitment to Ukraine against Russia in its four-year conflict. Now, I want to pause. For a second, okay. And I just wanna kinda state the obvious with this. If the EU and this would be my my thought process, if the EU starts backing Ukraine in the idea of of weapons production, mass weapons production, wouldn't Putin and Russia be inclined to start targeting more countries in the EU specifically where these weapons may be manufactured? Like, wouldn't that be your next next strategic move as a warlord? Or is somebody that's running a country in in in wartime efforts? So if I was Putin and I was trying to dominate Ukraine, I would start cutting them off of resources, right? Okay. And I mean any kind of resources. If somebody's supplying them with a weapon that's going to give them an advantage and helping them win the war against me, I'm going to find out where in that country they're making and manufacturing these weapons. I'm going to find shipping routes. I'm going to take out the shipping routes. I'm going to take out the facilities. And if that doesn't send a message to that country, and if that country wants to play ball too, we play ball too. So I'm just wondering, you know, at the end of the day here, what is going to transition out of this, you know, what's coming next with this? That's the scary thing. But let's move on. The EU stands with the brave people of Ukraine, Von der Leen said during a press conference at Gviv. ⁓ on Wednesday, every strike only strengthens your people. Your people's determination to be free and our resolve to support you and Ukraine any way we can for as long as needed. The drone deal will combine drone technology developed in Europe and Ukraine. We will not only develop the next generation drones and counter drone systems, we will manufacture them faster than ever before, Von der Lear Vanderleen posted on X. Ukraine ingenuity tested every day on the battlefield and EU industrial strength. able to produce at speed and scale, we will reproduce the same with missiles. So this isn't just like this, ⁓ yeah, we're gonna help them out a little bit. Like, you know, they're actively voicing, ⁓ we're gonna make some badass shit, we're gonna help you fuck Russia up. So I I would think you're gonna have Russia retaliate, but we'll see. The EU and Ukraine signed a letter of intent to establish joint drone and anti drone production by the end of twenty twenty six and a joint anti-ballistic missile production By twenty twenty eight, the PAC also establishes support for defense manufacturing. Zelensky called the agreement a truly historic step in relations with the EU. He also expects financial support from Europe for its anti ballistic missile program, which could take Ukraine closer to producing missiles for Patriot systems. President Donald Trump said at the NATO summit last week the United States would grant Ukraine a license to produce its own supply of Patriot air defense systems. For the first time, Ukraine is moving closer to the possibility of producing missiles for patriot systems and could be t become the third country in history to secure an agreement and such a privilege, Zelensky said on X. The leaders also discussed energy needs for the upcoming winter months. Ukraine increased its production capacity for making interceptor drones by eight hundred percent this year and now has twenty companies working in the field according to its National Security and Defense Council. Ukraine mass produces interceptor drones to counter Russian Shiads, which cost far less than using air defense missiles. Zelensky has traveled around the world seeking partners for Ukraine's drain program since developing production. Ukraine signed ⁓ ten year drone deal agreements with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Arab Emir United Arab and the United Arab Emirates, God, I can't speak tonight. And Qatar this year as part of the country's plan against the attacks on critical in civilian infrastructure. All right. ⁓ when we talk about, you know, world war and we talk about multiple countries engaging in conflict, I mean this is it. I mean this is that's it. The EU agreement is part of Zelensky's overall strategic plan for continued defense against Russia. Zelensky told Zelensky tried to sell a big drone production deal to Trump. For use in Iran war, but the war but the offer was rejected. In quotations, we don't need the help in drone defense, Trump said at the time. We know about drones more than anybody. We have the best drones in the world, actually. Of course, he would say that. ⁓ but there you have it. So the idea that multiple countries are getting sucked into this, more's coming out of this, they're signing deals that are making it seem like this conflict's gonna go on longer. I mean That's what we talked about on yesterday's show, the fact that it's been quiet, the fact that you haven't heard anything, and maybe you haven't heard anything because there's been this kind of shit kicking off in the background kind of under the radar that nobody's really talking about. I mean, when you really think about it, nobody wants conflict to arise unless they're profiteering from it. Because war profiteering's a thing. And I'm gonna explain something to you guys, very, very, very simple. I'm gonna make this very easy to understand. There are companies around the world that want wars to happen. And it's their job to make and manufacture weapons. And if those weapons are not being used, they have nothing to produce. Okay. So therefore they want these weapons to get used. They want a conflict to happen so they can produce more and make more money. It's very simple. Okay. The you know, if you have this infantile mentality that, you know, we just make all these things and they just sit in a warehouse somewhere until we need ⁓ and we don't make them till we need them. No, that's not the case. This shit's being mass produced all the fucking time. And what happens is is, you know, like the newest, greatest shit will come out. The top nations of the world will buy it. They'll keep it for a while. When it's time to upgrade to something better, they'll sell that shit off to a c country that couldn't get the latest and greatest and they get the hand me down shit. And that country's buying the latest and greatest again and so on and so forth. I mean, that's just how this goes. I mean, that's the way it works. You know, they don't they don't say, ⁓ there's a new fighter jet out, let's send all these other ones to the scrap yard. No, they sell them off to other nations. That's what they do. And a lot of things get retrofitted for other things. Like there's still Hueys flying around out there for other operations that have been retrofitted for other shit. Some in civilian use. Things like that, right? I mean that's the way it the way it works. So don't think for a second that somebody isn't wanting this conflict to continue. Anyway, we'll be right back after these messages. Jester from It's Doomsday Podcast and the Doom Daily Show here. Do you ever find yourself overloaded with way too much information? Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Doom Daily Show. I'm your host, Jester Dooms. So I I'm at kind of a crossroads currently of what I'm wanting to cover on the show. ⁓ because there's there I mean there's so a lot of the the things have been taken over right now by the World Cup and everything's been kind of clouded and fell to the wayside. So we're gonna get into something that may not be very exciting, maybe, but We're gonna we're gonna try to make it exciting. On the Epic Times by Dorothy Lee, China posts weakest economic growth in three years. China's China's economic growth slowed to its weakest pace in three years last quarter, adding pressure on Beijing to introduce more stimulus to meet official targets. Gross domestic product GDP grew by four point three percent. ⁓ year over year in the second quarter, according to National Statistics Bureau data released on Wednesday, it slowed sharply from a five percent expansion reported in the first quarter and fell short of a four point five percent gain forecast by economics economists pulled by Reuters. It represents the worst reading since the fourth quarter of twenty twenty two when the country was still grappling with COVID nineteen restrictions. It also blew the full year growth. target a four point five percent to five percent, the lowest in more than three decades. For some economic analysts, the last the latest figures add to indications that China's economy is losing momentum. In quotations, even if the official figures from the Statistics Bureau, which often polish polishes unfavorable data, appear grim, the real situation of the ec economy must be very bad, David Hong A US based analyst familiar with the Chinese economic situation told the Epic Times. Attention is now turning to the upcoming Plata Bureau meeting at the end of this month where the Communist Party's top officials will reveal whether they plan to deliver stimulus to keep the econom to keep the economic engine running. Without support, we're likely to see growth continue to grind lower. ⁓ Lin Song, chief economist for Greater China, ING Bank, said in a note on Wednesday. Zi Wing Zhang, chief economicist of pinpoint asset management in Hong Kong, doubts the Politburo Politburo will sign a wider fiscal deficit given that exports for now remain strong. This is a general consensus among policymakers and researchers that China needs to boost domestic demand, he said, but there is no consensus on how to do it. So let's There's a lot more to read through here on this article, but we're just gonna we're gonna kind of halt it right there. Okay. So you have to kind of think about what's happening right now around the world and the idea of China's economy. Okay. So Trump comes back into office, starts lining up terrorists, starts doing all these things, right? And certain Americans noticed things and other ones didn't. I noticed that. I had to pay extra money on items that I was ordering that were coming from China. And I was like, Whoa, whoa, what is this? 'Cause they were trying to compensate for, you know, these tariffs and different things. Like I had to pay an extra fee. And I simply said to myself, Okay, I'm not ordering anything if it has you know, and this is like shit on eBay and stuff. And I'm like, okay, I'm not ordering anything unless it's a US based seller. So I could avoid that. I'm still getting the same products, maybe a few cents more. per dollar, like a few cents on the dollar more, but I'm not having to deal with this added cost of the fluff that they're putting in there to compensate for this. And I'm willing to bet that that put a hit on the economy as well. But also we are moving into this realm of AI and we're about to have an economic shift. Okay. There's a lot of people around the globe that are losing their jobs to AI. When people lose jobs, they don't spend money. If you're not working, you don't have an income, you don't have money to spend. Okay. It's that simple. All right, it's not it's not rocket science to figure this out. Okay. It's very simplistic. So you now find your you now find yourself in a world that has been fueled by Chinese products. China is now taking a hit on these products, okay? Along with people losing their jobs. I mean, yeah. China got too big and took over too much and and was doing too much in the realm of selling products to the entire world. ⁓ And and now that that is going to start taking a shift. We we are in for an economic shift. It's it's gonna it's gonna happen. Okay. Now what the Chinese government really needs to start thinking about is how they are going to compensate domestically, like it says in that article. Like you're gonna need to compensate domestically. And you can't do that if your if your unemployment rates are going up demet you know, in your country, if your unemployment rates are going up due to things like AI and whatnot, then it's gonna create a problem. But then the other thing that you have happening too, which I'm noticing more and more, and I don't know if you the listener are picking up on this or not, but I'm watching more US based businesses pop up over fucking night. Selling shit that you don't think that even really matters, but it does matter. Okay. So I had someone tell me a long time ago, if you figure out what a million people need and you could make it and you could sell it for a dollar, you just became a millionaire. And it's a very simple train of thought. Okay. There could be a hundred manufacturers out there that sell bars of soap, but there's a million people that need those bars of soap, and they all have a different preference. So at the end of the day, even if there's all these manufacturers already out there, you still will make sales selling your bars of soap. And I think that this has I think the the freedom that individuals want from this rat race in this country has made me push this more because there's more and more of these little businesses popping up overnight. With more and more self-employed people making and producing products in their homes, in their garages. And I think that some of that may be putting a hit on them as well. Okay. You have a lot of motherfuckers around the country now 3D printing a lot of bullshit that we were getting from China. Like just think about that. And then all the little bullshit items that people are like no longer spending money on. Like our our listen, I've been saying it forever, you know, this this Economic bubble's gonna burst and we're all gonna be in the shit or we're in for hard times. Okay. Now, what I want you to really kind of sit down and think about is what have you been buying lately? What have you cut back on? You've probably cut back on a lot of the little stupid incidental items that you don't need. Gas is up, diesel fuel's up, products are up, groceries are through the fucking roof. It is disgusting what it costs to feed a family nowadays. Like that to me is just insane. But when you think to yourself, okay. I need to cut back. What are the things you're cutting back on? And I know for me, it's been like the stupid little bullshit items that I don't need, that I would like to buy, that I really don't need to buy. And a lot of these dumb little projects or or little products are like coming from China. Like maybe I want a new phone stand, but I'm not buying it right now because I need to save money. But that stupid phone stand I want that's twenty dollars, it's got the cool LED lights, is coming from China. Right. And it's it's a million other little products like that around your home that people are like, you know, I don't think I need that right now. And when these products don't sell, they don't get restocked. And then I think that there might be something too with the idea of w when you look at all these products and you think to yourself, okay, so many of these things are made in China and they they fucking all are, all right. A lot of people now are opting for longer lasting shit. Okay. Which is like something that I've really noticed lately that I'm doing. Like so if I need a new flashlight, I'm not going and buying the shitty little two dollar one at the dollar store. Like, no, I'm opting for ordering something online that comes with a warranty that might cost me sixty bucks. It's got a rechargeable or, you know, option to recharge or take batteries, something that's durable, waterproof, something that's a ten year purchase that's not gonna fail on me when I need it. You know, they're not buying the cheap homemade tools. They're buying something that comes with a lifetime warranty. You know, they're not opting to buy these little bullshit all state warranties at the fucking checkout counter at Walmart for a product. They're simply buying the better one in hopes that they won't have to replace it. And then it goes into the like into the technology realm. I know so many people out there who are not buying Sony anymore or Visio anymore or, you know, all these other TV brands, they're opting for like Walmart's off brand, the on brand, because they're just as good quality They're a half of the fucking price and they're integrated so much better with all the things around your house. Like I I think there is I think there is a turning point, you know, in this country. I think it's happening where people are like, look, we're done with the we're done with the bullshit. We're done with this disposable society bullshit. Prime example, we we for the longest time we only bought Visio TVs. And they got shittier and shittier and shittier, and the prices never went down. We said, fuck it, let's try the Walmart brand. Where we're having to rebuy a TV every couple years because they're failing. Back in the day you bought a TV, it never fucking died. You got you got rid of it because there was a new model, not because it was dead. But I think, you know, people are waking up to this and they're not being stupid anymore. I think that it's starting to happen. I think that we're gonna see these crap products left on the shelves and the high priced items left on the shelves, and we're gonna buy things that are gonna make the most sense. Not to mention we all have smartphones in our pockets and we could research the products before we buy them. We could leave reviews on the products to let other people know, hey, don't buy this. It sucks. So maybe that's why their economy's in the shitter. I don't know. It's anybody's guess. Anyway. We'll see you guys back here on Friday for another exciting episode of the Doom Daily Show. Producer Scooter if you would hit that button. Facts and opinions. This is
