- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Jacksonville Jaguar's fans welcome in to do ball deadly presented by Gen. Jag.com and fueled by brass tax coffee getting ready to head out.
- 0:07[SPEAKER_00]: So London here on Thursday, October 15th, this will be dropping the morning of Friday, the 16th.
- 0:13[SPEAKER_00]: And right now we have got bold predictions for the Jag wars.
- 0:17[SPEAKER_00]: London matchup against the Houston Texans and big divisional matchup where the Jag wars can effectively bury the Texans towards the bottom of
- 0:25[SPEAKER_00]: of the AFC South with a one and five record and then vault themselves up to five and one entering their bi-week and then getting set to host the Indianapolis Colts in Jacksonville after that.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_00]: And so we've got bold predictions for this one.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_00]: Excited again to it.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate y'all being here.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_00]: You can also hit that high button.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_00]: So the Jaguars, I believe they are going to allow their first 40-yard Russia of the season with Woody Marx doing a little bit of work against them.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I do mean a very little bit of work against them.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's still on like two to two and a half yards per carry with like one explosive for 15 to 20 yards, something like that.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't think that you can go forever not allowing a 40-yard Russia.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: They have not done that this year and they have not allowed over 25 yards rushing in a game for two straight weeks.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_00]: Looking at the Texan's passing offense, I do think CJ Strowd has a couple passing touchdowns one to Nico Collins.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_00]: I'm also going to give Marvin Harris in junior one in his debut.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_00]: I've also got 300 yards passing for CJ Strowd, but a lot of those numbers.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_00]: specifically the passing yardage numbers, come because the Texans cannot effectively run the ball.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_00]: They're not a good rushing team.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars are the best run defense in football.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_00]: So I think it's about 300 yards, but on and between 45 to 50 throws for the Texans, I think that they know they have to spread the ball out.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think they know they have to throw it because they're just...
- 1:47[SPEAKER_00]: You look at this matchup on the ground.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it does not look good for the Texans and in terms of being able to run the ball, I think they know they're going to have to do that and they are going to do it a lot.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think game script is going to be neutral to negative for the Texans and a good bit of this game, so I think that they're throwing the ball a lot.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_00]: And CJ Stroud 300 yards, a couple of passing touchdowns.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_00]: looks pretty good on paper, but on that many attempts, it's really not that efficient of a game for the Texan's offense.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Jaguar's defense does what they have done most of the year, Ben, but don't break.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to get the ball out quickly against them because of their past rush, the Jaguar's are gonna stop the run.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's gonna force CJ Stroud into mistakes.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_00]: He has not,
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: played well against a good defense yet this year.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_00]: His big games against the Titans, the Cowboys, the Coats, right?
- 2:39[SPEAKER_00]: These are not the most impressive, and also the Bill's passing defense is one of the worst and football right now.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_00]: So I think you look at the opponent that CJ Stroud has done well against so far this year.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_00]: and it's not very impressive.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: The best defense that he's gone against is the bingles and the Texans were not able to do much at all on the offensive side of the ball in that one.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_00]: So I have CJ Stroud having two turnovers in this one.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Jaguars are able to get a strip sack and I think that they're able to intercept him with his own look where
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: He's under pressure.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_00]: It feels like he has to get the ball out.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_00]: They go get an interception in this one.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_00]: And so they force two turnovers on CJ Strahd and then looking at the other side of the ball.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_00]: I think offensively for the Jaguars, they clean up their pre-snap operation.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's going to be a road like environment.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like it was last week when the Eagles fans came to London and made it feel like you were playing in Philadelphia versus playing in an actual home game.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, this is another home game.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_00]: with air quotes for the Jaguars, but I don't think Texans fans are going to travel the way Eagles fans traveled last week.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: I think Jaguars fans will be the louder fanbase here.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously there will be a ton of neutral fans as well.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_00]: But I think the Jaguars are able to clean up the pre-snap penalties and the penalties in general offensively with the holding calls.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that's going to happen two straight weeks in a row.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: I think that that's going to be an emphasis for them this week.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to be able to clean it up.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_00]: They're settled in London.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars have been more inconsistent when traveling so far throughout the Liam Co. and 10-year.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_00]: They're not traveling this week.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: They're settled in in London.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_00]: The Texans aren't traveling till today.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: They've got a long flat ahead of them.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: I think that without the road type environment from the fans, the Jaguars clean it up a lot offensively, right?
- 4:29[SPEAKER_00]: But I still think the Texas defense is able to land punches.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: I think that they're able to do a fairly good job against the run in this one.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_00]: I think that like Tutan is going to average under four yards of carry.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Texas defense gets like four or five
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's not just the Jaguars often steam rolling the Texans here.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_00]: I think it is a, it's a battle.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: This is a Texans defense that is talented.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: But Bachelton is incredibly talented as well.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't breaking eight tackles in this game.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Jaguars are going to stick with the running game.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: They're not going to have as many runs called back due to penalties.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: And Bachelton's going to end up with eight plus broken tackles.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_00]: I've Trevor Lawrence rushing for a touchdown and
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: throwing two touchdowns in this game.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think the offense will put up enough points.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_00]: After Kobe Myers leading the way for the Jaguars and catches in this one, think the Texans do their best to try to mitigate Parker Washington by giving him extra attention.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_00]: But I do think Parker Washington ends up with another crazy touchdown grab.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_00]: That is his M.O.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_00]: right now.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Jaguars will figure out creative ways to get him the football, to get him better looks.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_00]: And what you Kobe Myers leading the way,
- 5:39[SPEAKER_00]: a bit of attention as the game goes on goes away from Parker and he's able to do more work in the second half and he is in the first.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_00]: Now, it is a good matchup on paper for Parker Washington going up against a Texan secondary that won't feature Jalen Petrie.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_00]: Read blanket ship not playing as well as you would expect.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_00]: Come on, last there not playing as well as you would expect.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_00]: But I think the Texans will play better defense in this one more consistent defense than what you've seen from them on average this year.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_00]: but the Jaguars will have answers for it, right?
- 6:09[SPEAKER_00]: I think beyond Parker Washington having a crazy touchdown grab, I think he actually has his big first punt return of the season, not a touchdown, but it sets up the Jaguars short field for a scoring drive.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_00]: I think that their red zone was,
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: go out the window a little bit again you're not going to be perfect in the red zone and I'll likely it against the Texans but I think it looks a lot cleaner than it did last week against the Eagles for the Jaguars on offense and in the red zone even if the Texans and Jaguars are kind of trading punches.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars are the more balanced team.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_00]: They have a very good offense, a very high ceiling offense, an offense that I think is focused on the right things this week in terms of the improvements they need to make presnap operation and not holding.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think that the Jaguar's defense, just the combination of the two, the Jaguar's defense and the Jaguar's offense.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_00]: I think puts them over the top and I think that they're also better coached, right?
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, I think Demiko Ryan is a great defensive mind.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: I think that Anthony Campanila, you can say the same thing about though.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that when you look at the Jaguars offensively, I think they're much better coached on the offensive side of the ball than the Texans are, which helps them in this game.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: I also think, as I mentioned, that the special team helps them out a lot.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think Cam Little, you're able to use him as a weapon get get a feel goal in this one from pretty good distance.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: I think that the Jaguars win this football game 24 to 19 with three Trevor Lawrence touchdowns and one Cam Little
- 7:37[SPEAKER_00]: but overall having a little bit of an unbalanced game with it being inefficient with some turnover is actually starting to happen for CJ Strav when he faces a really good defense for the first time in several weeks and the jag wars are able.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_00]: To handle business, hold serve, get to five and one, head home for there by week.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, no aunts on here since a big deal in this one, but I think they'll have a plan in place for helping out walker little and even though walker little had a rough outing last time against the Texans,
- 8:07[SPEAKER_00]: many times in which they have beaten the Texans and been able to handle their past rush a little bit better than what you saw last time in Houston.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: So I've got the Jaguars running this one.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: Let me know how you're feeling about it in the comment section below.
