Shenandoah County Public Schools welcomes Matthew Wygal as its new Director of Human Resources, officially taking the reins July 27 after being approved by the school board on July 9. With advanced degrees from Shenandoah University and Virginia Tech, Wygal brings a wealth of experience—from teaching and internships to assistant principal and principal roles—and most recently served as Employee Relations Supervisor for Prince William County Public Schools since 2022.
