Cork’s writing stars Peadar Cox and Lisa ODonovan are leading the pack in this year’s Zebbie Awards, with Cox nominated for Best Continuing Drama Script after two decades on Ros na Rún—and yes, he even starred as a villain for ten years—while O’Donovan, a visually impaired writer, is up for Best Children & Young People’s TV for her work on Maddie & Triggs. The 19th annual ceremony takes place September 3rd at Dublin’s Light House Cinema, celebrating Ireland’s finest in screen, stage, and audio writing.
