- 0:00Speaker 1: What do you say to these people questioning your sexuality online?
- 0:03Speaker 2: Calling somebody gay is not an insult. People try to
- 0:08Speaker 2: people try to use it as an insult, but it's
- 0:10Speaker 2: what it's. It's it's people's sexuality and whatever somebody's sexuality is,
- 0:15Speaker 2: it is not an insult. So don't try to throw
- 0:17Speaker 2: it out a black man to down him because you
- 0:20Speaker 2: feel like that's gonna. It's not gonna that's not gonna
- 0:23Speaker 2: bring me down. What bring me down is the fact
- 0:25Speaker 2: that you're trying to use it as an insult while
- 0:27Speaker 2: I got my son in my hand and knowing that
- 0:29Speaker 2: one of these days he's gonna have to get on
- 0:31Speaker 2: the internet and see this, and I don't want, I
- 0:34Speaker 2: don't need nothing being misled like, oh Dad, is this wrong?
- 0:38Speaker 3: Like is it? Noah, it's not wrong.
- 0:40Speaker 2: So at the end of the day, like you got
- 0:42Speaker 2: some people who like man you got some people who
- 0:44Speaker 2: like man Son, and that's how it is. But we
- 0:46Speaker 2: ain't finna do that with my son in my hand,
- 0:48Speaker 2: like we ain't finna be cause one of these days, though,
- 0:50Speaker 2: he's gonna have to get on this internet to see this.
- 0:52Speaker 2: So but what was wrong with the Cowboy Outfit had
- 0:55Speaker 2: a knitted vest on and a knitted and on the
- 0:58Speaker 2: knitted vest you kind of could see through it a
- 1:00Speaker 2: little bit. But at the end of the day you
- 1:01Speaker 2: go back to these pictures. I don't seen, I don't
- 1:04Speaker 2: seen everybody hupac and and like brawlers not brothers, but
- 1:09Speaker 2: like the Witch McCall is like leather jeans and like yo,
- 1:13Speaker 2: it's fashion. And what people don't know is like why
- 1:16Speaker 2: y'are on the internet plan a lot of these people
- 1:19Speaker 2: that's on top of the game.
- 1:21Speaker 4: It's gay.

- 3:03Speaker 1: I'm definitely here for the black ownership. However, I'm not
- 3:08Speaker 1: here for all the Tyler Perry shows.
- 3:10Speaker 10: How do you think do you think he gonna do that?
- 3:12Speaker 6: I know he's gonna do that. I just I'm all
- 3:14Speaker 6: over BT plus. Do you have the app?

- 3:24Speaker 4: I do they have bet Her, they have all these
- 3:25Speaker 4: BT channels, and yes where BT will be headquartered that
- 3:29Speaker 4: guys in the at Georgia.
- 3:32Speaker 3: You got the eight Okay.
- 3:36Speaker 11: I definitely love the idea of Tyler Perry owning B
- 3:39Speaker 11: E T. I love the black ownership. Like y'all said,
- 3:41Speaker 11: I like you, octave you. I don't want to see
- 3:43Speaker 11: a full lineup of Tyler Parry shows. I want diversity,
- 3:47Speaker 11: Like I wanted to be like, give us some some
- 3:50Speaker 11: young fresh bring back one on Sion Park. Like I
- 3:53Speaker 11: was just about to say that I don't want to
- 3:55Speaker 11: see all.
- 3:56Speaker 3: The bad thing it's gonna be only Tyler Perry shows.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I say that because it'll be Tyler Perry influenced. It'll
- 4:03Speaker 1: be Tyler Perry directed.
- 4:05Speaker 2: You know.
- 4:06Speaker 6: The direction is going to be his.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Vision, you know, for the network, and I just don't know,
- 4:12Speaker 1: like when he takes over, you can kind.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Of tell we have better fights because remember the remember
- 4:17Speaker 4: the Tyler Perry movie fights with the little fake slaps
- 4:19Speaker 4: in the baby fake fights.
- 4:22Speaker 3: But you want to see better acting and fighting?
- 4:24Speaker 2: Yeah? Have you?
- 4:26Speaker 4: If you guys watched any of the Tyler Perry shows,
- 4:29Speaker 4: they fight really bad. Like if I go like this.
- 4:35Speaker 12: Like one of them type of fights, it be kind
- 4:37Speaker 12: of they need better stunt double.
- 4:40Speaker 11: What I think is gonna do is collaborate, Like I
- 4:43Speaker 11: would love to see a collaboration with Ray to bring
- 4:46Speaker 11: on some of her ideas on there.
- 4:47Speaker 10: But like give us, I would love to see the
- 4:52Speaker 10: ball Alert show on BT.
- 4:54Speaker 2: You know.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a good start.
- 4:56Speaker 2: I like it.
- 4:57Speaker 3: I like.
- 5:00Speaker 4: I think, I think that would be good for us.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Now are you a sports guy?
- 5:02Speaker 9: Bro?
- 5:03Speaker 3: Absolutely? Bit.
- 5:04Speaker 4: Okay, it is time for the player's ball.
- 5:08Speaker 5: Fouler.
- 5:09Speaker 4: Oh man, oh man, I know. We got prayers up
- 5:12Speaker 4: for the first and foremost prayers up for the Denver police.
- 5:15Speaker 4: They're investigating multiple shootings that sent eleven people to the
- 5:18Speaker 4: hospital after thousands flocked downtown to celebrate the Denver Nuggets
- 5:23Speaker 4: being in Mia, Miami.
- 5:24Speaker 3: He you called it though I knew it.
- 5:26Speaker 10: I told you that y'all wasn't gonna win.
- 5:28Speaker 4: I told myself that too.
- 5:29Speaker 10: But just remember I told.
- 5:31Speaker 2: You I wanted.
- 5:31Speaker 3: I wanted it for Jimmy though I want to yeah,
- 5:34Speaker 3: I wanted.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Yeah, he worked his as That's what guys, that's what
- 5:37Speaker 4: toucy Damian Lillard. You heard it first here. Damian Lillard
- 5:42Speaker 4: will be a Miami Heat player next season.
- 5:46Speaker 3: I doubt it, but he said, he said that would
- 5:51Speaker 3: be his first option though, Miami Heat or the New
- 5:53Speaker 3: York You just want to go down there for the weather.
- 5:56Speaker 3: He not going there though, Man, you don't think so.
- 5:59Speaker 10: I mean, who wants to be Portland?
- 6:00Speaker 2: Don't it rain out there?
- 6:02Speaker 3: What ten years? Ten years you talk about over there? Yeah,
- 6:06Speaker 3: I know a little bit. At been in Portland ten years.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Man.
- 6:10Speaker 7: I'm mad at I'm mad at Denver though, because at
- 6:14Speaker 7: the end of the day, Lebron James should have won
- 6:17Speaker 7: a ring Lebrons.
- 6:20Speaker 3: I'm not giving nothing to nobody.
- 6:21Speaker 2: I don't.
- 6:22Speaker 3: I don't care who you is. You gotta you gotta
- 6:24Speaker 3: earn this.
- 6:26Speaker 2: If the script was wrote for him to win, I
- 6:29Speaker 2: promise you I'm switching the script. They're gonna have to keep.
- 6:31Speaker 10: You know what I think that was, Like, I think
- 6:32Speaker 10: that was like nobody cared about Denver winning.
- 6:36Speaker 12: Like nobody nobody texting like, oh my god, the Nuggets won.
- 6:40Speaker 3: It's like cool.
- 6:43Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 6:43Speaker 2: I think I think what I think well would have
- 6:46Speaker 2: been a better game was Lakers and Heat and.
- 6:52Speaker 6: Nobody.
- 6:53Speaker 10: I didn't really because it's so boring. It's like Denver
- 6:57Speaker 10: won a champion Denver Heat.
- 6:59Speaker 2: It's like kind of make you feel like it's two
- 7:01Speaker 2: teams that's not supposed to be there. But I mean,
- 7:04Speaker 2: in reality, when you watch basketball, you I understand, like,
- 7:08Speaker 2: these are two teams that played well the whole season.
- 7:11Speaker 2: People try to make it seem as if these teams
- 7:13Speaker 2: just randomly got to the finals, and these teams played
- 7:17Speaker 2: well the whole season.
- 7:20Speaker 11: Over there, What team was Zion played for?
- 7:24Speaker 4: Zion Willimson about you want to talk about y'all want
- 7:27Speaker 4: to talk about?
- 7:29Speaker 11: What team does he play for?
- 7:33Speaker 4: Pelicans went viral for having a deactivated stripper pregnant, and
- 7:39Speaker 4: it was a star he was paying a porn star,
- 7:43Speaker 4: but he got an ex stripper pregnant. She got she
- 7:47Speaker 4: flipped out because she saw that he did a photo
- 7:49Speaker 4: shoot with the stripper who he's not in a relationship with.
- 7:53Speaker 4: So he accepted the fact that, Okay, I got you pregnant,
- 7:57Speaker 4: let's take some pictures with me. I'm gonna take care
- 8:00Speaker 4: the baby. But the porn star Mariah, who has like
- 8:05Speaker 4: almost a billion views on porn hub I'm not a person.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Didn't know that.
- 8:12Speaker 2: I do you know that.
- 8:17Speaker 4: Who was one of the main people on porn hub.
- 8:20Speaker 6: Not the main?
- 8:21Speaker 11: How she becomes the main I'm trying to know that.
- 8:26Speaker 6: The same thing for her.
- 8:28Speaker 2: I had to.
- 8:29Speaker 3: I did a deep dive. Okay, okay, guys, like, so listen,
- 8:38Speaker 3: what did you find out in this deep dive?
- 8:42Speaker 4: Find out that she's one of the main people on
- 8:44Speaker 4: poor Hub. She has almost a billion views and she
- 8:46Speaker 4: has her own like little channel. Did I go on
- 8:49Speaker 4: the channel?
- 8:50Speaker 2: No?
- 8:51Speaker 3: I thought she was gonna say, yes, Why you didn't.
- 8:54Speaker 3: I'm having to be married. Man, I'm cool. I mean
- 8:55Speaker 3: you have to, you said, man, Do that mean like
- 8:58Speaker 3: you're not supposed to like me and.
- 9:01Speaker 4: To have a really good sex life?
- 9:02Speaker 2: So it's cool, Okay, all right, believe.
- 9:05Speaker 4: I'm satisfied alone. Man over there, he's like twenty three
- 9:11Speaker 4: or so much.
- 9:12Speaker 10: This is not twenty three?
- 9:13Speaker 2: Yeah, he he.
- 9:15Speaker 10: Was like twenty one.
- 9:16Speaker 11: No, he's young, twenty two. So who was he paying
- 9:21Speaker 11: one hundred and seven thousand dollars to a month the
- 9:25Speaker 11: porn for the extra?
- 9:26Speaker 4: The poor extra exposed him? Yet, guys that that's just
- 9:30Speaker 4: a picture that circulated their with the big butt.
- 9:32Speaker 2: That's her name.
- 9:34Speaker 4: Yeah, Yeah, Mariah is the one exposing exposed because she's
- 9:38Speaker 4: upset that she felt that she that he didn't tell
- 9:42Speaker 4: her about Wow, he got her pregnant. You could have
- 9:44Speaker 4: got me fucked up. And she's a porn star. These
- 9:47Speaker 4: artists got to stay away from these girls. Man, artists,
- 9:50Speaker 4: I'm talking about artist Eteiner's got to stay away from Like,
- 9:58Speaker 4: I'm just that's too much.
- 9:59Speaker 2: He prob.
- 10:00Speaker 3: They got to go get NDA's.
- 10:02Speaker 11: I mean, maybe he didn't get no just green.
- 10:04Speaker 4: He's sending ten thousand.
- 10:05Speaker 10: Yeah, you understand. He a young He a young boy
- 10:08Speaker 10: from the.
- 10:08Speaker 11: Country who's making thirty million dollars a year.
- 10:11Speaker 10: Right, No, he ain't making that much much making. He's
- 10:13Speaker 10: making a lot of money.
- 10:14Speaker 11: Okay, and he probably didn't get no country before this,
- 10:17Speaker 11: so he's just trying to catch up, like he's you know,
- 10:19Speaker 11: y'all out.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Here, y'all in this business.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Get in d a's. I'm telling you, get an n
- 10:25Speaker 2: d A as some people might play with you, but
- 10:29Speaker 2: not as many guns play with you as you think
- 10:31Speaker 2: when you when you get him to sign that NDA.
- 10:34Speaker 11: Okay, so how do you present an NDA at what time?
- 10:36Speaker 11: Like right before you'd be like, oh, hold on, I
- 10:38Speaker 11: know it's hid and heavy, but if I was, I
- 10:41Speaker 11: stick it in you.
- 10:43Speaker 2: If I was, you have security and basically like, all right,
- 10:48Speaker 2: nine times out of ten, y'all gun link. When y'all linked,
- 10:52Speaker 2: before you even come up these stairs, my security gonna
- 10:55Speaker 2: go down there hand you this phone, like, hey, this
- 11:00Speaker 2: is a non disclosure agreement sign is or you can't
- 11:05Speaker 2: go up stairious?
- 11:06Speaker 11: Is that for like a one off? Is this for
- 11:08Speaker 11: somebody that you plan to engage one time?
- 11:12Speaker 3: You can have your phone?
- 11:14Speaker 2: You could, You could do whatever you want because I
- 11:16Speaker 2: promise you if you ever post or if you ever
- 11:19Speaker 2: say anything about anything that happened, I need everything you got.
- 11:22Speaker 2: I don't care if you got a Honda need it.
- 11:24Speaker 2: I don't care if you got a Nie Sign need it.
- 11:28Speaker 2: I don't care what I.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Promise you. I need everything.
- 11:33Speaker 11: Not playing our NDA is that common though, because I
- 11:35Speaker 11: feel like so many people get caught up.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Artists don't. Artists don't think about it. People don't think
- 11:40Speaker 2: about it.
- 11:41Speaker 11: They're just having a good time.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Man. When I first got into business, that was one
- 11:44Speaker 3: of the first things I want to got.
- 11:46Speaker 2: You're not playing, We ain't doing that.
- 11:47Speaker 4: And the NDAs can be correct me if'm wrong, could
- 11:49Speaker 4: be for parties.
- 11:52Speaker 6: Protection.
- 11:52Speaker 2: What I'm saying is just it's just for protection because
- 11:54Speaker 2: at the end of the day, like like something, I
- 11:57Speaker 2: look at what we got going on as a billion
- 11:59Speaker 2: dollar prize, and I never want for nobody to try
- 12:03Speaker 2: to infiltrate what we got going on. So we were
- 12:07Speaker 2: not to protect everything. I think like, I think of
- 12:11Speaker 2: my whole I think of my whole brand at once.
- 12:13Speaker 2: You know, I'm thinking about my team. So if I'm
- 12:16Speaker 2: out here and out when I was out here and
- 12:17Speaker 2: I was doing what I You're not finna do that.
- 12:19Speaker 2: So the NDA is, y'all gotta sign them. I don't.
- 12:21Speaker 2: I don't care what you're talking about. If not all right, cool,
- 12:24Speaker 2: we ain't gonna link what you got some messages. Cool,
- 12:27Speaker 2: you can take the messages.
- 12:28Speaker 11: But you ever had someone turned out of NDA and
- 12:30Speaker 11: be like, no, no mind, if I gotta sign.
- 12:32Speaker 2: This, because because that's gonna make me view you different instantly.
- 12:36Speaker 2: I don't even I'm and I'm being honest, I don't.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Like I like regular girls.
- 12:40Speaker 2: I don't. I don't do the Mariahs and the strippers
- 12:45Speaker 2: and porn spers.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Porn stars and all that, I ain't never been in it.
- 12:49Speaker 11: I like regular girls, like like not in the industry
- 12:52Speaker 11: or not in the industry.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I like like a regular girl who got a job
- 12:56Speaker 2: working on the five. Like I like regular regular girls.
- 13:00Speaker 6: Why do you like them? Do you want to just
- 13:01Speaker 6: put them onto a new lifestyle or why is that?
- 13:05Speaker 2: I just feel like me being with somebody that's in
- 13:08Speaker 2: the entertainment business ain't gonna work. You get what I'm saying.
- 13:12Speaker 2: I know how this business is for me, and to
- 13:15Speaker 2: be with somebody and that's just this is just my preference.
- 13:17Speaker 2: But for me to be with somebody who also was
- 13:19Speaker 2: in the entertainment business, I know the light, and I
- 13:22Speaker 2: know how tricky it could be and.
- 13:26Speaker 3: Some things, you know, some things not all women can handle.
- 13:31Speaker 2: And I don't know the pressure of the pressure of
- 13:33Speaker 2: a woman being in the entertainment business while I'm in
- 13:35Speaker 2: an entertainment business. And she got disc going on, and
- 13:37Speaker 2: I got disc going on, and she gotta it's a
- 13:40Speaker 2: certain perception you gotta have for the media. And nine
- 13:44Speaker 2: times out of ten nowadays, all right, the internet is
- 13:49Speaker 2: like a lot of people on the internet are coloriss.
- 13:51Speaker 2: So if you not light skin or a certain color
- 13:56Speaker 2: with a fat ass and nice shade and fake lives
- 14:01Speaker 2: or fake titties, and they it's judgmental. So what it
- 14:05Speaker 2: causes these women that look regular to want to go
- 14:08Speaker 2: do is or these women that's in her entertainment business
- 14:10Speaker 2: to want to go do is look like the rest
- 14:12Speaker 2: of the girls. And I don't need nobody trying to
- 14:15Speaker 2: look like nobody else. So I like me a regular
- 14:17Speaker 2: girl working nine to five. We ain't got to worry
- 14:20Speaker 2: about that. I mean, I just feel like that's the
- 14:22Speaker 2: better route to go instead of getting somebody that's in
- 14:24Speaker 2: the entertainment business and having them chance shift they whole
- 14:27Speaker 2: perception on how they need to look, how they need.
- 14:30Speaker 3: To be because everybody in their ears it does.
- 14:32Speaker 6: It give you a sense of normalcy, like.
- 14:34Speaker 2: And it makes me and it keep me humble, you
- 14:36Speaker 2: get what I'm saying, to keep me grounded because they
- 14:38Speaker 2: let me know, like like when I go home my son, mom,
- 14:42Speaker 2: like I've been knowing you since high school? Like what
- 14:45Speaker 2: did you talking about? You think I've been hou since
- 14:48Speaker 2: high school? You're not sure?
- 14:50Speaker 11: Like I know you?
- 14:51Speaker 3: Yeah, let me take that that that rap head off.
- 14:54Speaker 11: Real quick, right Obviously, Like regular women feel the pressure too, right,
- 14:58Speaker 11: like women that do have regular nine to five giants.
- 15:01Speaker 11: But I think what I'm hearing from you is you
- 15:02Speaker 11: just want someone that's grounded. I don't necessarily know if
- 15:04Speaker 11: it means you care what career she's in, but as
- 15:07Speaker 11: long as she just has a ground, you gotta be grounded.
- 15:09Speaker 2: But I just know, I know it all right, Like,
- 15:13Speaker 2: think about this industry, right the women that's on top
- 15:16Speaker 2: of the game, half from either God have them. And
- 15:21Speaker 2: I don't even want to put it like this because
- 15:24Speaker 2: it's a tricky topic. You feel me, you don't want
- 15:27Speaker 2: the internet takes stuff and flipp it. I'm not saying
- 15:30Speaker 2: that I got anything against any of the women that's
- 15:33Speaker 2: in the game right now. It's just, first off, I've
- 15:36Speaker 2: never even been with a girl that's in the industry,
- 15:39Speaker 2: no type of industry.
- 15:40Speaker 3: I ain't never even linked with one, been with one,
- 15:43Speaker 3: they been in the room with one, like none of that.
- 15:46Speaker 2: But I don't know. I think it's because I'm just
- 15:49Speaker 2: not into the whole, Like it's just too much that
- 15:54Speaker 2: it's hard to explain.
- 15:55Speaker 11: You are who you are and the industry isn't changing you,
- 15:58Speaker 11: so you're not attracted life.
- 16:00Speaker 7: Yeah, I like what I like I like, but you
- 16:02Speaker 7: do you feel like that's why the Internet like flips
- 16:05Speaker 7: a lot of the things that you say, because yeah, man.
- 16:09Speaker 3: It's it's the world we live in. You know what
- 16:11Speaker 3: I'm saying. It's the world we live in.
- 16:12Speaker 2: We live in. We live in, uh a world where
- 16:15Speaker 2: it's a lot of cloud chasers and cloud is a
- 16:18Speaker 2: hot commodity. That's that's the thing nowadays. See back in
- 16:21Speaker 2: the day is the day it used to be about
- 16:22Speaker 2: the Internet and trying to get cloud and all.
- 16:25Speaker 3: You had to really know a person to know if
- 16:27Speaker 3: they was doing something.
- 16:28Speaker 2: I mean, nowadays, it's like you could have a following
- 16:32Speaker 2: and be the lamest person in real life. Man. And
- 16:35Speaker 2: it's a lot of people that's like that. I know,
- 16:38Speaker 2: it's a lot of people that's like that. So it's
- 16:40Speaker 2: like they they way of staying relevant is to stay
- 16:44Speaker 2: negative because negativity sells. And it's like, at the end
- 16:49Speaker 2: of the day, that's not what I'm here for, that's
- 16:51Speaker 2: not what I'm into, that's not what I like to do.
- 16:53Speaker 2: So I don't really care for the negativity. But at
- 16:55Speaker 2: the end of the day, I know that's what's sailing
- 16:56Speaker 2: and that's how you get your dollars. That's how you
- 16:58Speaker 2: get your dollars. But it ain't gonna work for long.
- 17:00Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 17:01Speaker 11: It's not where you are.
- 17:02Speaker 10: No, that's dope.
- 17:03Speaker 8: We'll be right back. Stay tuned with more of the

- 17:25Speaker 4: friend Tousy is in the building. What's up, sir?
- 17:31Speaker 2: Now?
- 17:31Speaker 4: Where's Tusy from?
- 17:33Speaker 3: I'm originally from Syracuse, New.
- 17:34Speaker 4: York, Syracuse, New York, Upstate New York, New York Trenches, treacherous.
- 17:40Speaker 6: Why did you say that? How was it growing up there?
- 17:45Speaker 2: Man? Listen, if I wur lie, if I took you
- 17:47Speaker 2: out through Syracuse, I could take you through the whole
- 17:49Speaker 2: Syracuse in probably like fifteen minutes. How does it look gray?
- 17:53Speaker 2: It's like a great town. It's like a ghost town.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Everything boarded up.
- 17:56Speaker 10: So like you, if you spit off, you're gonna you're
- 17:58Speaker 10: gonna spit over the whole time.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Okay, mo stuff Yeah, you know, it's it's one of them.
- 18:03Speaker 2: It's one of them towns because it's a small town.
- 18:05Speaker 2: It's one of them small towns. Where see when people
- 18:07Speaker 2: think about Upstate New York, Yeah, upstate, that's like upstate
- 18:10Speaker 2: ups you know. That's like when people think of Syracuse,
- 18:13Speaker 2: they think of the university college. The university is right
- 18:17Speaker 2: outside the pH. So if you go to Syracuse University,
- 18:21Speaker 2: you know, like stay on campus. Don't don't roam outside
- 18:25Speaker 2: of campus being the hood in the pH. Don't don't
- 18:29Speaker 2: try going to the Carmelo Anthony basketball court and playing
- 18:31Speaker 2: at the basketball court, Like.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Don't try to go for what is it like a
- 18:36Speaker 1: lot of people hanging outside not not as much, no more.
- 18:40Speaker 3: But it's like it's it's just not dangerous.
- 18:41Speaker 2: I mean it's just not safe, Like it's dangerous. So
- 18:44Speaker 2: being that it's so dangerous like if you if you're
- 18:47Speaker 2: a tourist or you or you're not from there, like
- 18:49Speaker 2: they don't need for you to be in these people hood,
- 18:52Speaker 2: Like what is the pH? The pH is pibbing their
- 18:54Speaker 2: homes and that's it's like it's a project. It's the
- 18:58Speaker 2: projects outside of outside Cyca.
- 19:00Speaker 3: And that's where you were from Yeah, No, I ain't.
- 19:03Speaker 2: I'm not from the pH I'm from from South Carolina,
- 19:06Speaker 2: Miland and Medson in that area. But you're a.
- 19:09Speaker 10: Correct rr.
- 19:12Speaker 4: Wasn't for you growing up? And how early did you
- 19:15Speaker 4: get into the music?
- 19:16Speaker 3: It was cool though, you know, just to just to
- 19:18Speaker 3: be able to make it out of there.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Though. It's a testimony. It's a great story and I'm
- 19:22Speaker 2: happy to be where I'm at. I moved to North
- 19:25Speaker 2: Carolina when I was like thirteen. Yeah, because I live
- 19:28Speaker 2: in North Carolina now. I moved to North Carolina when
- 19:30Speaker 2: I was like thirteen. I was back and forth in
- 19:32Speaker 2: my early years living in North Carolina.
- 19:35Speaker 4: But why did you move to North Carolina?
- 19:37Speaker 2: My mom moved me for a better life. Okay, man,
- 19:39Speaker 2: it was like it was just a lot going on.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Like my sister and my brother was in and out
- 19:42Speaker 2: of prison. My mom and my dad had separated. My brother.
- 19:48Speaker 2: One of my brothers wanted to stay in New York
- 19:50Speaker 2: while we moved to North Carolina, so he stayed in
- 19:52Speaker 2: New York. It was me, my mom, my sister, and
- 19:56Speaker 2: my sister three kids. My other sister three kids that
- 19:59Speaker 2: was locked up because she did three years locked up
- 20:02Speaker 2: and while she was locked up. It was me, my mom,
- 20:05Speaker 2: and my sister and her three kids in a motel
- 20:09Speaker 2: in North Carolina.
- 20:10Speaker 10: In North Carolina, why was your sister locked up?
- 20:12Speaker 2: Man? She was my sisters. I don't want lie my
- 20:15Speaker 2: sister like the most thugged out of here.
- 20:21Speaker 10: I want no smoke.
- 20:24Speaker 3: Here physically.
- 20:28Speaker 6: Your mom didn't want that influence on you.
- 20:30Speaker 2: So she she moved me for a better life, you
- 20:32Speaker 2: know what I mean. So, uh, she moved up. She
- 20:34Speaker 2: moved me to North Carolina. She want that influence. I mean,
- 20:37Speaker 2: I mean, that was the best thing she could have
- 20:39Speaker 2: did for me. Like my brother always kept me out
- 20:41Speaker 2: the streets, my mom kept me out the streets. I mean,
- 20:44Speaker 2: I appreciate them for that, you know what I mean.
- 20:45Speaker 2: But at the end of the day, the.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Trenches, the trenches.
- 20:47Speaker 2: When we were from the trenches.
- 20:49Speaker 6: You did you see a lot of music around you?
- 20:52Speaker 6: What made you want to get into that?
- 20:54Speaker 11: I was definitely curious, is like what your inspiration was
- 20:57Speaker 11: while you were in the trenches.
- 20:59Speaker 2: My brother, my dad, man, shout out to my shout
- 21:02Speaker 2: out to my my big brother Jarell too, my big
- 21:05Speaker 2: brother Darell. He fight he uh fighted like thirty five
- 21:07Speaker 2: of life right now. But my music scene growing up
- 21:11Speaker 2: was my brother and my dad. They used to make music,
- 21:13Speaker 2: and I wanted to be whatever they wanted to be,
- 21:15Speaker 2: whatever they was.
- 21:17Speaker 3: So did your dad rap? Yeah?
- 21:18Speaker 2: My dad rapped? Yeah, my dad rapped. I don't know
- 21:22Speaker 2: how good he is today, but everybody he used to
- 21:25Speaker 2: do it.
- 21:26Speaker 4: Because I know Twocy the hot Spinner.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Yeah, were you know.
- 21:31Speaker 4: A little minute and then you took the name away
- 21:33Speaker 4: and just went to Tucie.
- 21:34Speaker 3: But can we go? Can we start? How did your name?
- 21:37Speaker 2: Where?
- 21:37Speaker 4: Where did Tussie come from?
- 21:39Speaker 2: Tucy Tuessie came from? Honestly, it was so my brother,
- 21:45Speaker 2: I mean now, my brother and my sister used to
- 21:46Speaker 2: call me to the buck growing up, and everybody in
- 21:48Speaker 2: my family used to call me two, so like I had.
- 21:51Speaker 2: It's just a little football players on my team used
- 21:54Speaker 2: to pick on me and called me like they.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Used to be like two sis, it's so cute.
- 22:03Speaker 4: Yeah, TOUTSI bro, and you played football.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Yeah I played for college like that. It's like that,
- 22:07Speaker 2: you know, they used to they used to pick up
- 22:09Speaker 2: my name, but it was a kid on my team.
- 22:11Speaker 2: He couldn't say he's he was like I forgot where
- 22:13Speaker 2: it's from. But he used to always call me Tucsy.
- 22:16Speaker 2: He used to try to say Tutsi, like Tutsi, but
- 22:19Speaker 2: he used to say Tutsi and I kind of just
- 22:21Speaker 2: took the name and ran with it because like that's
- 22:23Speaker 2: where everybody started to call me from there, like we
- 22:26Speaker 2: just kept it, kept it rolling.
- 22:28Speaker 6: So did you start rapping in high school?
- 22:30Speaker 2: Like?
- 22:31Speaker 6: When was the point that you started taking it serious?
- 22:33Speaker 12: Man?
- 22:34Speaker 3: Listen, shout out to my sister ex boyfriend, Joe.
- 22:39Speaker 4: Your sister's ex boyfriend, My.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Sister ex boyfriend. He took me to the studio in
- 22:44Speaker 2: two thousand and sixteen for the first.
- 22:48Speaker 6: Time in North Carolina.
- 22:49Speaker 11: Was a long ago at all, in two thousand and six.
- 22:53Speaker 6: The first how was that time? Can you take us
- 22:55Speaker 6: to that moment when you decided this is.
- 22:57Speaker 3: What I want to do?
- 23:00Speaker 2: That was twenty seventeen, okay, two thousand and said. I
- 23:03Speaker 2: was already writing music since I was thirteen, but I
- 23:05Speaker 2: never had the means to go to the studio, like
- 23:08Speaker 2: I couldn't. My mom ain't had no money, like and
- 23:12Speaker 2: then she ever. I never I was that kid. I
- 23:14Speaker 2: never asked my mom for nothing, like I was probably
- 23:17Speaker 2: the only kid that ain't asked for nothing. And my
- 23:19Speaker 2: mom just you know, she ain't have it. But when
- 23:22Speaker 2: it came time and I wanted to invest in my
- 23:24Speaker 2: dreams and I wanted to go to the studio, like
- 23:25Speaker 2: she had scrape up money for me to go to
- 23:27Speaker 2: the studio.
- 23:28Speaker 3: That was dope.
- 23:29Speaker 10: Shout out to mom.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Yeah, nah, shout out to her, that's my baby.
- 23:32Speaker 12: No.
- 23:32Speaker 2: But you know, for the most part, like yeah, I
- 23:36Speaker 2: remember going to the studio twenty sixteen for the first time,
- 23:39Speaker 2: and then after that, I was just in there and
- 23:41Speaker 2: in there, in there, and I was finding the hustle,
- 23:43Speaker 2: like anywhere to make money to be able to pay
- 23:45Speaker 2: for studio time. And then I remember seven twenty seventeen.
- 23:50Speaker 2: It was either twenty seventeen or yeah, twenty seventeen, No,
- 23:54Speaker 2: twenty eighteen. Twenty seventeen was when I dropped out of school,
- 23:57Speaker 2: and I was like, I'm not doing them. I'm not
- 24:00Speaker 2: doing like school no more. I gotta have a tunnel
- 24:02Speaker 2: vision on my goals. What your mom said when you
- 24:04Speaker 2: dropped up, She didn't want me to drop out.
- 24:06Speaker 6: This is high school.
- 24:07Speaker 3: High school.
- 24:07Speaker 11: Of course, I'm gonna tell.
- 24:08Speaker 2: You want to know the bad thing, Tuto, Well, no,
- 24:10Speaker 2: I ain't even gonna tell you'll, but Manna, the bad
- 24:14Speaker 2: thing is yo, I was in twelfth grade, Like I.
- 24:17Speaker 10: Was almost done there, you was almost done.
- 24:19Speaker 3: I was almost done. I probably had like three credits left.
- 24:22Speaker 6: So what made you? What prompted that decision?
- 24:25Speaker 2: I made a drastic decision, and it worked out for
- 24:28Speaker 2: the better, though. I feel like everything happened for a reason.
- 24:32Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you all a crazy story real quick.
- 24:33Speaker 2: So I remember twenty seventeen, I dropped out. I lied
- 24:36Speaker 2: to my mom, well I had I was going to
- 24:39Speaker 2: Roseville High School. I was going to Sanderson High School,
- 24:43Speaker 2: got into a fight. They switched me to Roseville High School.
- 24:45Speaker 2: That's where I met my son. Mom met my son mom.
- 24:49Speaker 2: She graduated because she was a great ahead of me
- 24:51Speaker 2: twenty seventeen. I'm like, you know, you got that one
- 24:55Speaker 2: crush in school. It's like you don't got no motivation
- 24:58Speaker 2: to go to school, no more like that ship she
- 25:01Speaker 2: don't even know. Like she used to be my motivation
- 25:03Speaker 2: to go to school every day, like outside of what
- 25:04Speaker 2: I had going up, Like she was my motivation in football.
- 25:07Speaker 6: Look forward to seeing her.
- 25:08Speaker 3: I look forward to seeing her most death. You out
- 25:10Speaker 3: of school? Who I'm looking for?
- 25:12Speaker 10: Yeah, he's getting fresh to go to school.
- 25:13Speaker 2: So lite what so boom, so boom, all right, cool
- 25:17Speaker 2: twenty seventeen. Now I switch schools and I'm doing online schooling.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Because I was telling my mom like it was taking
- 25:23Speaker 2: up with the time, like I was investing in my music,
- 25:26Speaker 2: like because I was dedicated. I was doing my music
- 25:29Speaker 2: like every day, like my music was That's what I
- 25:32Speaker 2: was doing every day, every day, every day. So Boom,
- 25:35Speaker 2: I told my mom, I'm like, I'm trying to go
- 25:38Speaker 2: to La my homeboy Speaker Bangers he was. He was
- 25:41Speaker 2: a producer or whatever I mean. He a producer. He
- 25:44Speaker 2: produced hard on ice for a rod Wave. So boom, right, yeah, yeah,
- 25:50Speaker 2: I'm not tripping, Okay, I want to make sure.
- 25:51Speaker 3: So Boom.
- 25:52Speaker 2: I told my mom, I'm like, listen, I got I'm
- 25:54Speaker 2: trying to go to La with him. I don't got
- 25:55Speaker 2: no money with the wood. My mom scripped up some money.
- 25:57Speaker 2: I had, like five hundred dollars, flew to La. Lied
- 26:01Speaker 2: to my teacher, my principal. Shout out to my principal
- 26:03Speaker 2: because he knew I was lying, but he still gave
- 26:04Speaker 2: me an opportunity. I was doing online schooling at the time,
- 26:07Speaker 2: but I was doing online schooling where you had to
- 26:08Speaker 2: go in the building. I was going to a like
- 26:11Speaker 2: like a witchimal color school whatever, the online schooling anyway,
- 26:14Speaker 2: So boom, flu to La. I'm trying to break it
- 26:16Speaker 2: down because it's a long story, but flu to La.
- 26:18Speaker 2: Five hundred dollars to my name. Met a guy named
- 26:20Speaker 2: Jeffrey Von Jeffrey Vivon was the head A and R
- 26:23Speaker 2: at Atlantic Records. We was in the studio, like I
- 26:28Speaker 2: can remember, like trying to It wasn't even for me.
- 26:31Speaker 2: It was for speaker bangers, trying to put my music
- 26:34Speaker 2: on them, like put them out with what I had
- 26:36Speaker 2: going on. I you know, he liked it. Three years
- 26:40Speaker 2: later Love, like two years later Love, so I could
- 26:43Speaker 2: come out and it's going, it's everywhere, Like now you
- 26:46Speaker 2: got all these labels calling. We'd done met with thirteen
- 26:49Speaker 2: fourteen different labels, you know, and finally we go to
- 26:52Speaker 2: meet with one last label. It's Capitol Records, and you know,
- 26:56Speaker 2: my CEO like I want to introduce you to the
- 26:57Speaker 2: to the CEO of Capital Records.
- 27:00Speaker 3: I'm like, I don't want it.
- 27:01Speaker 2: I'm not trying to do no interviews with no like
- 27:02Speaker 2: I'm not trying to meet nobody, and I already know
- 27:05Speaker 2: who I want to sign to. I was finna sign
- 27:07Speaker 2: the RCA. Yeah, So I'm like he like like, nah,
- 27:12Speaker 2: trust me, I want you to meet this one last person.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Like I'm like all right, bet so Boom, I go
- 27:16Speaker 2: in and I see him and it's Jeffrey B. Vaughan
- 27:19Speaker 2: and I'm like, you know, at this time, I don't
- 27:20Speaker 2: we was going through it. We ain't have nothing, but
- 27:22Speaker 2: we have I have five hundred dollars.
- 27:24Speaker 10: So this is this is the same guy that was
- 27:25Speaker 10: the an R, that.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Was the ANR now here the CEO. He was the
- 27:28Speaker 2: CEO of Capitol Records at the time. So Boom, I
- 27:31Speaker 2: ended up signing the Capitol Records and like everything was
- 27:33Speaker 2: just you know, full circle. So everything happened for a reason,
- 27:37Speaker 2: but you know, it was a life changing moment for
- 27:38Speaker 2: me and I feel like that's why I'm here today.
- 27:40Speaker 4: Can I stop you right there? What year was it,
- 27:41Speaker 4: Kerman Front? Was this eighteen when you came up to
- 27:45Speaker 4: the station me and flag at DC one time to
- 27:46Speaker 4: fly out DC before that nineteen I'm gonna tell you
- 27:50Speaker 4: all the story, crazy story of how I met this guy. Yes,
- 27:54Speaker 4: we did a competition.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Twenty eighteen, we did.
- 27:57Speaker 4: A competition and it was We're gonna do a viral
- 27:59Speaker 4: interview at the radio station. We got in trouble for
- 28:02Speaker 4: interviewing this guy. We had like over seven thousand comments
- 28:06Speaker 4: of people saying to interview him, interview him.
- 28:09Speaker 3: I forgot what happened. And then and then that was
- 28:11Speaker 3: another thing too, like so I said it.
- 28:13Speaker 4: Was before the l A trip.
- 28:15Speaker 2: Yeah, this was before they came radio station. Yeah, yeah,
- 28:18Speaker 2: so I had I said I had a buzz at
- 28:20Speaker 2: the time.
- 28:21Speaker 4: Seven thousand comments, bro.
- 28:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I said I had a buzz at the time.
- 28:24Speaker 2: So it was like I was. I was kind of
- 28:26Speaker 2: like I was kind of like famous in the inner
- 28:29Speaker 2: city in my city, I was like famous, So I was.
- 28:32Speaker 2: I really switched schools to the online school and because
- 28:35Speaker 2: I was distracted, I was I was being late the
- 28:37Speaker 2: class because I was taking pictures in the hallway with
- 28:39Speaker 2: people like I had like actual fans at the time.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Like I used to be the stopped I don't lie
- 28:44Speaker 2: like people don't know. I used to dance too, like
- 28:46Speaker 2: I used to. And I was like like like.
- 28:53Speaker 3: Listen, like the same stuff that like uh that like
- 28:56Speaker 3: you know all the kids do like I used to
- 28:58Speaker 3: do now, like I used to do like the Okay,
- 29:01Speaker 3: I used to be doing board dancing. Yeah, I used
- 29:03Speaker 3: to be doing all of that. But I was a
- 29:04Speaker 3: kid though. I was probably like fifteen sixteen at the time,
- 29:08Speaker 3: so I was doing so boom. Yeah, I was doing
- 29:10Speaker 3: you know, I was with the trends.
- 29:11Speaker 2: But you know, I had a buzz from that, and
- 29:14Speaker 2: then I had a buzz from music, and it all
- 29:17Speaker 2: like came together.
- 29:17Speaker 3: And then after that it was just like, you know,
- 29:19Speaker 3: I used to be late to class.
- 29:20Speaker 2: Because I was taking pictures in the hallway, like it
- 29:23Speaker 2: was just a bunch of stuff that was having me,
- 29:24Speaker 2: you know, it was distracting me. So I just I'm like,
- 29:26Speaker 2: I'm gonna let that go and I'm gonna have tunnel
- 29:28Speaker 2: vision on these dreams and focus on these dreams. And
- 29:31Speaker 2: it just came full circle.
- 29:33Speaker 6: So you went out to LA and then you got
- 29:34Speaker 6: a deal and you didn't come back to you had one, right, Nah.
- 29:37Speaker 2: So I went out to LA and I met a guy.
- 29:40Speaker 2: I met the guy who ended up signing me three
- 29:42Speaker 2: years later. So I wish I would have went to
- 29:45Speaker 2: LA got a deal. I probably wouldn't be in a
- 29:47Speaker 2: good position though, because I don't know if I was.
- 29:49Speaker 2: I wasn't with you yet.
- 29:51Speaker 3: La flip. That's my Oh, that's my minute.
- 29:54Speaker 10: Time you got bad memory? I thought I had bad memory.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Yeah, listen, that's another thing that I needed to tell people.
- 30:02Speaker 2: I got hit by a car when I was nine.
- 30:05Speaker 2: I don't feel bad now because I got bad memory.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Now tell the people how you said I got bad.
- 30:12Speaker 2: I'm not straight, but nah, I got hit by a
- 30:17Speaker 2: car when I was nine where I got smacked by
- 30:18Speaker 2: a car, and like ever since then, like my memory
- 30:21Speaker 2: don't be the best, like for real, for real, so
- 30:23Speaker 2: I try to. Sometimes I'll be having to have people
- 30:25Speaker 2: to like help me remind stuff, like help me remember
- 30:29Speaker 2: I remember.
- 30:31Speaker 10: But that's good that you saying this to the world
- 30:32Speaker 10: because a lot of people may not know this.
- 30:34Speaker 3: So a lot of people don't know.
- 30:36Speaker 10: So when you see people, I don't remember you, and
- 30:38Speaker 10: you can say, yo.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I really don't, like I really don't some
- 30:42Speaker 2: stuff I really don't remember it, and people be like, nah,
- 30:44Speaker 2: you got selective memory.
- 30:45Speaker 3: No I don't.
- 30:46Speaker 2: I like ever since I got hit, Like I got
- 30:48Speaker 2: hit by a car when I was nine, and it
- 30:52Speaker 2: could have killed me, and I remember like I could
- 30:56Speaker 2: I was supposed to get paid when I was eighteen,
- 30:57Speaker 2: but I ain't. I ain't want to because I ended
- 30:59Speaker 2: up playing baseball right after I was to get paid.
- 31:03Speaker 2: I was supposed to get paid, but the problem was
- 31:05Speaker 2: I ended up going to play sports right after getting
- 31:07Speaker 2: hit by the car, like and I was in love
- 31:11Speaker 2: with I was in love with sports.
- 31:12Speaker 3: I was. My mom was mad, but I ended up
- 31:18Speaker 3: like I ended up like I was in little league.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Like so it went from me getting hit by a
- 31:22Speaker 2: car to like maybe like a couple months later, like
- 31:24Speaker 2: a month later, me signing up like I wanted to
- 31:26Speaker 2: play baseball so bad, like mom signed me up for
- 31:29Speaker 2: little league please cause I was like bro, I used
- 31:31Speaker 2: to be nice in baseball. I was the only black
- 31:33Speaker 2: kid on my baseball team for in middle school, like
- 31:36Speaker 2: I could have played baseball. The baseball coach tried to
- 31:39Speaker 2: get me to play for the high school team like
- 31:41Speaker 2: it was, but I just I gave up everything for music.
- 31:46Speaker 6: So now you get your deal, and what is that?
- 31:49Speaker 6: How does your life change?
- 31:51Speaker 5: Man?
- 31:53Speaker 2: I think the biggest thing for me was, you know,
- 31:55Speaker 2: getting to it, because my life is still changing. You
- 31:58Speaker 2: get what I'm saying, I'm I'm I'm just now since
- 32:03Speaker 2: since probably three years ago sign it. I'm just now
- 32:06Speaker 2: getting to a point where like I feel like I
- 32:08Speaker 2: should have been, And I think the point where I
- 32:12Speaker 2: should have been was being able to put my team
- 32:14Speaker 2: in position.
- 32:15Speaker 6: What's your first hit record from off the label?
- 32:18Speaker 3: Love Cycle?
- 32:19Speaker 2: Love Cycle? What I mean? It wasn't a hit though
- 32:22Speaker 2: it was it did good emotion. Yes, double Now you're
- 32:26Speaker 2: on the billboards double platinum. But I know what a
- 32:28Speaker 2: hit looks like.
- 32:29Speaker 6: Now, Yeah, you know what you consider this song that
- 32:31Speaker 6: you have now favorite? Yeah, song that you ever had?
- 32:36Speaker 2: What top five Billboard? That's like I'm looking at people
- 32:39Speaker 2: accolades and I'm like, you know, I'm I'm as I'm
- 32:42Speaker 2: scrolling on Twitter and I'm scrolling on the Internet. I
- 32:44Speaker 2: see people tweet and say like, Yo, such and such
- 32:47Speaker 2: has just reached number thirteen on the Billboard for the
- 32:51Speaker 2: first time. And I'm like, thirteen that first, this your first,
- 32:54Speaker 2: this day first, this person here, this day first. It's
- 32:57Speaker 2: the highest they've been on Billboard. Yeah.
- 32:59Speaker 3: I can't get over man. Yeah, And I'm like, okay, I.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Came in at fifty two, like on Billboard. Like, and
- 33:08Speaker 2: I'm talking to my label and they're like that's not regular. Okay, Well,
- 33:11Speaker 2: if it's not regular, what we're doing, like what we
- 33:14Speaker 2: need to be doing, because y'all telling me to come
- 33:17Speaker 2: in at fifty two, it's not regular. And I'm watching
- 33:19Speaker 2: all of these other songs into the Hot one hundred
- 33:22Speaker 2: as well, Such and such comes in as seventy three,
- 33:25Speaker 2: Such and such comes in at ninety two. I'm like, yo,
- 33:28Speaker 2: we came in at fifty two, half way there were
- 33:30Speaker 2: halfway there, and pushed all the way up to five,
- 33:33Speaker 2: and we're still in the top ten. We at seven
- 33:34Speaker 2: right now. So it's like this sixteen weeks inside of
- 33:38Speaker 2: the sixteen weeks inside of the billboard Hot one hundred,
- 33:41Speaker 2: about about how many weeks like probably like eight weeks
- 33:44Speaker 2: inside of the top ten, you know, like we pushing
- 33:49Speaker 2: and I feel like it's cool, But the biggest thing
- 33:52Speaker 2: is we got to do.
- 33:53Speaker 3: It again, right that follow up is hot, we gotta
- 33:55Speaker 3: do it again, I think.
- 33:57Speaker 2: I think the biggest thing, though, is the good thing
- 33:59Speaker 2: is it's a standalone record. You look at the charts
- 34:02Speaker 2: and all of the songs that been entering the charts,
- 34:04Speaker 2: it's it's not really many standalone records. All of them
- 34:07Speaker 2: got features. That's if you look at if you look
- 34:09Speaker 2: at the top ten on the charts right now, favorite
- 34:11Speaker 2: song is twosy favorite song, look at the rest. It's
- 34:15Speaker 2: like this person, person in this person, And I'm glad
- 34:19Speaker 2: because I always told myself, I said, I never want
- 34:22Speaker 2: a song that I have to be shot overshadowed by.
- 34:25Speaker 4: The future, the toxic version of future.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Yes, his fault, Yeah, I mean shout. I didn't think
- 34:34Speaker 2: he's gonna come out and go crazy like that.
- 34:36Speaker 4: Did he hit you for that or did it just
- 34:38Speaker 4: come out?
- 34:38Speaker 2: You didn't even know? Man, listen, So he had a
- 34:42Speaker 2: It was like my team, my team wanted to connect it.
- 34:45Speaker 2: I was in the bank one day and my n
- 34:47Speaker 2: R shout out to my n R, Chris Turner. He
- 34:49Speaker 2: called me and he was like, he's like, Yo, what
- 34:52Speaker 2: you think about the future on a remix for favorite song.
- 34:55Speaker 2: I'm like, i mean, let's do it. We already had
- 34:58Speaker 2: the relationship. I'm like, he like, I'm let's do it.
- 35:01Speaker 2: He's like, all right, bet, I'm gonna call you back,
- 35:02Speaker 2: coming back him?
- 35:07Speaker 3: What do you call it?
- 35:08Speaker 2: And it's him staying and future on the phone in future, Like, man,
- 35:14Speaker 2: y'all should have put me on the origin you know,
- 35:18Speaker 2: as soon as he get on the phone. So I'm like,
- 35:19Speaker 2: well we're here now, you know, we got the remix.
- 35:22Speaker 2: We need to remix.
- 35:23Speaker 3: What's up? He sent me it the next day.
- 35:25Speaker 11: You know, I think the original needed to just be you,
- 35:28Speaker 11: like I think, I think not for real, like you know,
- 35:32Speaker 11: I love it the future, but I think that original
- 35:34Speaker 11: needed to be you and it needed to breathe for
- 35:35Speaker 11: some time because I think it diversified your audience. Like
- 35:38Speaker 11: Country wayn't talked about that recently when he was here,
- 35:41Speaker 11: about how he doesn't curse and it allows like families
- 35:44Speaker 11: to watch him together. So I'm glad you did that.
- 35:47Speaker 3: Yeah, listen, I gotta and I gotta. I just gotta
- 35:50Speaker 3: keep it going.
- 35:50Speaker 2: It definitely opened my eyes and showed me that it's
- 35:54Speaker 2: a better audience out there for me. And that's the
- 35:57Speaker 2: audience we need, Like you need the audience that's gonna
- 36:00Speaker 2: go buy these shirts about this merch by these hats,
- 36:03Speaker 2: these digital uh these digital albums, like we need, we
- 36:07Speaker 2: need the people that's gonna buy these vinyls, the wall
- 36:09Speaker 2: of that, you know, so and that's the crowd that's
- 36:11Speaker 2: gonna do it. So we gotta keep it clean.
- 36:13Speaker 11: A lot of people feel like you get signed and
- 36:15Speaker 11: then you just have all this money that it just
- 36:18Speaker 11: comes easily. But I saw that you posted with your
- 36:21Speaker 11: advance you bought your mama a house. Yeah, yeah, I
- 36:24Speaker 11: think that was such a smart thing to.
- 36:26Speaker 2: And I want, yeah, I bought her a house. And
- 36:28Speaker 2: it was like it wasn't even like no crazy house.
- 36:31Speaker 2: It was like it was some not I wouldn't say
- 36:34Speaker 2: rinky dink house, but it was just like, yo, like
- 36:37Speaker 2: this year, this this is your first purchase, like and
- 36:39Speaker 2: you able to go buy it and say it's yours.
- 36:42Speaker 6: Still a big deal.
- 36:45Speaker 3: We ain't never had nothing but her next house though, what.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Her next house gonna Yo, listen when I tell you
- 36:54Speaker 2: like and I mean it, I promise you sooner or later,
- 36:57Speaker 2: I'm gonna be the biggest artist that's in the game.
- 37:00Speaker 2: It's not gonna be nobody that's bigger than me, like
- 37:03Speaker 2: and and everybody gonna have they run. But I like,
- 37:07Speaker 2: I try to tell people, and it's hard to get
- 37:09Speaker 2: people to believe you without action, like, but you got
- 37:14Speaker 2: the numbers to back what you're saying.
- 37:16Speaker 3: I try to.
- 37:17Speaker 2: I try to tell people. I say, bro, like when
- 37:19Speaker 2: you think of the artists that's in the game. When
- 37:21Speaker 2: you first met me, Bro, I started off rapping. My
- 37:24Speaker 2: biggest song that I got on the charts is not
- 37:26Speaker 2: a rap song. I try to tell people all the time,
- 37:29Speaker 2: like everybody got a lane. You know you got you
- 37:32Speaker 2: got this artist that do this, this, artists that do that, this,
- 37:34Speaker 2: artists that do that. When you think of two c
- 37:36Speaker 2: It's like I'm on the six lane highway and I
- 37:38Speaker 2: could get in whatever lane I want to. We got
- 37:41Speaker 2: kaleid On on favorite song that's pop. We got Future
- 37:45Speaker 2: on favorite song that's hip hop. If you listen to
- 37:48Speaker 2: favorite song, it's got a little bit of country twang
- 37:50Speaker 2: in it, like we could put like a Kine Brown
- 37:52Speaker 2: or like a Morgan Wiland or anybody, you know what
- 37:56Speaker 2: I mean. But then you go listen to the album
- 37:58Speaker 2: you Gotta Pull Up with twenty one Savage and you
- 38:00Speaker 2: got you got the you got the interlal with Willow Win,
- 38:03Speaker 2: then you got the It's like I could rapt with
- 38:05Speaker 2: the best of them. But I also my my fan
- 38:08Speaker 2: base is women. You get what I'm saying. So I
- 38:12Speaker 2: feel like that's the biggest thing for me. Like I
- 38:14Speaker 2: just it's hard to get people to believe you. So
- 38:17Speaker 2: I just try to I try to leave with actually. Man.
- 38:19Speaker 4: So you say your fan base is women, Yeah, I
- 38:22Speaker 4: remember online they were going crazy because of your relationship status. Yeah,
- 38:27Speaker 4: but they're still there. They ain't going nowhere. I do
- 38:30Speaker 4: have a lot of respect for you, to utmost respect
- 38:32Speaker 4: for you being a family man, being a father. I
- 38:35Speaker 4: think being a father is underappreciated thing going into Father's Day. Yeah,
- 38:42Speaker 4: So I want to say to you man, first and foremost,
- 38:44Speaker 4: I'm proud of you for being a father and being
- 38:48Speaker 4: a family man, because that's very difficult. It has its
- 38:52Speaker 4: own issues. But to see the relationship in the relationship,
- 38:58Speaker 4: how do you deal with your female fans and them
- 39:01Speaker 4: knowing you're in a relationship because they're going to try
- 39:04Speaker 4: you when they see you and I know that the man.
- 39:07Speaker 2: I think the biggest thing for me was I had
- 39:09Speaker 2: to separate the two He used to I used to
- 39:11Speaker 2: I used to broadcast my relationship a lot when we
- 39:14Speaker 2: first got in it.
- 39:15Speaker 3: And I had to realize that.
- 39:17Speaker 4: That and angry faces in no comments, Yeah it.
- 39:22Speaker 3: Was it was uh And I had to realize that.
- 39:25Speaker 2: And my music is two different things, you know, Tuessy
- 39:28Speaker 2: and Geors two different people. So if you listen to
- 39:31Speaker 2: the album, you know it's songs. It's coming from Nagor's
- 39:36Speaker 2: point of view. So it'll be songs about my love
- 39:38Speaker 2: life and it's gonna be songs about what I've been through,
- 39:40Speaker 2: about me being a young kid and being touched and
- 39:43Speaker 2: me like it's it's it's it's a vulnerable album, but
- 39:47Speaker 2: it's a vulnerable album because it's coming from your point
- 39:49Speaker 2: of view.
- 39:49Speaker 3: It's not it's not tousy.
- 39:52Speaker 2: And I feel like, just with my relationship, I had
- 39:54Speaker 2: to dial back from it from being on social media
- 39:56Speaker 2: with it so much, because you know, people hate and
- 40:01Speaker 2: they look for things, and at the end of the day,
- 40:03Speaker 2: it's not a lifestyle that my partner asks to be.
- 40:07Speaker 3: She never asked to be.
- 40:08Speaker 2: Famous, you know, being that yeah, yeah, yeah, and people
- 40:13Speaker 2: but people don't understand that though people try to make
- 40:15Speaker 2: it seem like, oh, you think you're gonna you're not
- 40:18Speaker 2: gonna post about that you're famous, What.
- 40:20Speaker 10: Do you mean want to give you a personal life?
- 40:24Speaker 2: And it's like, Yo, at the end of the day,
- 40:25Speaker 2: it's like everybody just because I'm famous, everybody that I'm around,
- 40:29Speaker 2: they asked to be famous. You get what I'm saying
- 40:31Speaker 2: so for the most part, it's like, you know, I
- 40:34Speaker 2: don't know. I feel like the biggest thing I had
- 40:36Speaker 2: to do with nowt back in a relationship, man on
- 40:38Speaker 2: a relationship, being on the internet and keep people.
- 40:42Speaker 6: Guessing are you married?
- 40:43Speaker 2: No? Not yet?
- 40:44Speaker 10: So how do you feel about.
- 40:45Speaker 6: Your Did you propose already?
- 40:47Speaker 2: Nah? Soon? Though? Yeah? Soon?
- 40:50Speaker 3: I don't lie, I ain't I'm listen.
- 40:54Speaker 2: I like that.
- 40:54Speaker 3: I like to keep people guessing.
- 40:56Speaker 2: But at the end of the day, what I will
- 40:58Speaker 2: say is my son mom is the best, one of
- 41:02Speaker 2: the best things that ever happened to me. I mean,
- 41:05Speaker 2: and every day I'm learning how to be a better
- 41:07Speaker 2: man for her, not for nobody else, for her and
- 41:13Speaker 2: for myself.
- 41:14Speaker 3: And you know, prayfully which I am.
- 41:19Speaker 2: I'm gonna be the man that the man of her dreams,
- 41:23Speaker 2: that the man that she she needs me to be,
- 41:25Speaker 2: and the man that God has desired for men.
- 41:29Speaker 11: How do you allow yourself to be so vulnerable to
- 41:31Speaker 11: share the stories that you're sharing, Like, I know a
- 41:33Speaker 11: lot of people in our community, a lot of black
- 41:35Speaker 11: men do not talk about their experiences are being touched like,
- 41:39Speaker 11: they don't talk about that. So how did you free
- 41:41Speaker 11: yourself to get to this place.
- 41:44Speaker 2: I mean, the biggest thing for me is like, who's
- 41:46Speaker 2: gonna tell them where you going? You know, when you're going,
- 41:48Speaker 2: like the they it's over with. You know, It's so
- 41:51Speaker 2: many things that need to be spoken while we hear
- 41:54Speaker 2: because at the end of the day, you know, being
- 41:56Speaker 2: vulnerable is with with Bill's character. Being vulnerable.
- 42:00Speaker 3: Bill's character allowed it, Bill's integrity.
- 42:03Speaker 2: It lets us know that we not alone because there's
- 42:06Speaker 2: so many people in the world who go through the
- 42:07Speaker 2: same things that we go through on the daily. And
- 42:10Speaker 2: I didn't realize that until I got into the music
- 42:12Speaker 2: industry and I started making certain songs and I've seen
- 42:15Speaker 2: how people attached to him.
- 42:16Speaker 1: So, speaking of being vulnerable, what do you say to
- 42:19Speaker 1: these people questioning your sexuality online?
- 42:22Speaker 2: Man? Honestly, I'm I'm gonna keep it a hundred. It
- 42:27Speaker 2: don't really bother me. I think I feel like, I
- 42:29Speaker 2: think the biggest thing that bothered me is when people
- 42:31Speaker 2: play with me. And I would never let nobody play
- 42:35Speaker 2: with me while my son is around, or I never
- 42:37Speaker 2: let nobody play with me while my son is even
- 42:39Speaker 2: just like if I feel like it got something to do,
- 42:42Speaker 2: like I'm so even the post with the where I
- 42:44Speaker 2: was dressed up like the cowboy for and I had
- 42:46Speaker 2: my son in my hand. It was just a picture
- 42:48Speaker 2: of me. It's like, all right, cool, but you're playing
- 42:51Speaker 2: with somebody.
- 42:52Speaker 3: Father.
- 42:53Speaker 2: My son got to get on the internet one of
- 42:54Speaker 2: these days, and the internet is forever. He got to
- 42:57Speaker 2: see this, And I got no problem with the LGBTQ community,
- 43:00Speaker 2: y'all done. You could go on many interviews and see
- 43:02Speaker 2: me say it. I love everybody, everybody. I don't judge nobody, black, blue, purple, white, orange, big, small, tall, little,
- 43:11Speaker 2: I don't care. I don't care about none of that.
- 43:13Speaker 2: At the end of the day. Though, what I what
- 43:15Speaker 2: I believe is calling somebody gay is not an insult.
- 43:22Speaker 2: People try to People try to use it as an insult,
- 43:25Speaker 2: but it's what it's. It's people's sexuality, and whatever somebody's
- 43:29Speaker 2: sexuality is is not an insult. So don't try to
- 43:32Speaker 2: throw it out a black man to down him because
- 43:35Speaker 2: you feel like that's gonna It's not gonna that's not
- 43:38Speaker 2: gonna bring me down. What bring me down is the
- 43:40Speaker 2: fact that you're trying to use it as an insult
- 43:42Speaker 2: while I got my son in my hand, and knowing
- 43:44Speaker 2: that one of these days he gonna have to get
- 43:46Speaker 2: on the internet and see this, and I don't want
- 43:49Speaker 2: I don't need nothing being misled, like, oh dad, is
- 43:52Speaker 2: this wrong? Like is it? Nah?
- 43:54Speaker 3: It's not wrong.
- 43:55Speaker 2: So at the end of the day, like you got
- 43:57Speaker 2: some people who like man, you got some people who
- 43:59Speaker 2: like me son, and that's how it is. But we
- 44:01Speaker 2: ain't finna do that with my son in my hand,
- 44:03Speaker 2: like we ain't finna because one of these days, though,
- 44:05Speaker 2: he's gonna have to get on this intern of to
