- 0:38Speaker 1: anything you'd like to have us mentioned, Just go ahead
- 0:40Speaker 1: and text us over to two to nine eight seven.
- 0:44Speaker 1: We got the fail stories coming up for you this hour.
- 0:48Speaker 1: We'll get to those. The wild Card round of the
- 0:51Speaker 1: MLB Playoff that's over now, Padres, Red Sox, Guardians, goodbye,
- 0:56Speaker 1: all eliminated. Bye. So the Division series that starts tomorrow.
- 1:01Speaker 1: So that's Dodgers and Phillies, Cubs, Brewers, Tigers, Mariners, and
- 1:06Speaker 1: then Yankees Blue Jays, all all solid matchups, potential to
- 1:10Speaker 1: make baseball interesting. Yeah right, really nothing like super random
- 1:15Speaker 1: in there, No, no, no, I mean, but those were
- 1:16Speaker 1: those were solid. Dodgers Phillies, that's gonna be a great series.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Brewers had the best record in baseball and also Cubs.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Brewers also just a natural rival, kind of like the
- 1:26Speaker 1: Yankees Red Sox thing. Huh, those two teams always battle
- 1:29Speaker 1: because you know, geographic they're so close. Tigers Mariners both
- 1:33Speaker 1: have had amazing seasons, and then Yankees Blue Jays division. Right,
- 1:37Speaker 1: But I mean it's weird, like I still, for whatever reason,
- 1:40Speaker 1: I can't take the Blue Jays seriously. I have a
- 1:42Speaker 1: hard time because they sucked so hard for so long.
- 1:46Speaker 1: I just have a hard time, hard time keeping it. Yeah,
- 1:50Speaker 1: k Yeah. Last night on Thursday Night Football, the forty
- 1:54Speaker 1: nine Ers beat the Lambs in overtime twenty six to
- 1:56Speaker 1: twenty three. That was the craziest game I've seen in
- 1:59Speaker 1: a very long time. Yeah, Greg's forty nine ers pull.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Now here's the thing that the game winning field goal
- 2:05Speaker 1: ricocheted off the crossbar. It but that missed it in.
- 2:09Speaker 1: But that that counts Now, the Rams at that point
- 2:13Speaker 1: still had a chance. But instead of I don't I
- 2:16Speaker 1: don't get it when teams do this, I feel like
- 2:18Speaker 1: you're you're not really giving yourself even I mean I
- 2:21Speaker 1: guess you do have a chance, but like, I don't
- 2:23Speaker 1: feel like you're setting yourself up for success. That's a
- 2:26Speaker 1: that's a term that parents use with kids. Now we
- 2:28Speaker 1: use that. Uh is this really your best opportunity to
- 2:31Speaker 1: set yourself up for success? Yeah? I'm not sure it is.
- 2:34Speaker 1: But instead of tying it on fourth down, they decided
- 2:38Speaker 1: to go for it. Yeah, came up short yep, lost,
- 2:42Speaker 1: miracul losers. Yeah. Dan Campbell, who's the lead lead, the
- 2:47Speaker 1: lead singer, the head coach for the Detroit Lions, he
- 2:50Speaker 1: likes to do that, like he loves for it, dude.
- 2:53Speaker 1: And I mean, at one point, dumbas Tyler might remember this,
- 2:57Speaker 1: didn't he have to move Dan Campbell like he because
- 3:00Speaker 1: he he made some call where he got a real
- 3:03Speaker 1: balls and then he went for it and then they lost,
- 3:07Speaker 1: and then he was getting all kinds of death threats
- 3:08Speaker 1: and stuff and he had to move.
- 3:10Speaker 2: I think I remember something about that, remember that story. Yeah,
- 3:13Speaker 2: But with Dan Campbell, he's just he's a gambler, man,
- 3:16Speaker 2: He's just that.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Guy, Dan Gambler. I hate when my team does crap
- 3:21Speaker 1: like that. I hate it. Yeah, I like Mike Tomlin
- 3:24Speaker 1: starts doing stuff like that I get so pissed. I
- 3:26Speaker 1: vaguely remember what you're talking about when he when they
- 3:29Speaker 1: came to Yeah, Yeah, I think there was like, yeah,
- 3:31Speaker 1: there was like a whole thing about it. I don't
- 3:33Speaker 1: remember the specifics clearly, but what.
- 3:34Speaker 3: I loved about the game last night, especially in my opinion,
- 3:37Speaker 3: there was so much passing.
- 3:39Speaker 4: It was I can't stand the handoffs where they just
- 3:42Speaker 4: run right into a wall.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Why do they do that? They would run right into
- 3:47Speaker 1: the other guys. I'm like, well, the idea here, babe,
- 3:50Speaker 1: is that to see these guys up front, that's the
- 3:52Speaker 1: offensive line, that they're going to create some space for
- 3:54Speaker 1: this guy. Yeah, and he's gonna be able to rip
- 3:57Speaker 1: off like a fifteen to twenty five yard whenever you run,
- 4:00Speaker 1: he is gonna be able to get more than you know,
- 4:02Speaker 1: the half a yard he just picked up here. But
- 4:04Speaker 1: that wasn't the plan your team, the Falcons did. They
- 4:07Speaker 1: have like one of the quarterbacks he was notorious. All
- 4:10Speaker 1: he did was handoffs, right he never.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Oh that was last year. So Kirk Cousins was handing
- 4:15Speaker 2: the ball off because he wasn't fully healed from his
- 4:17Speaker 2: ruptured achilles the year before.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Yeah, but I thought the guy before that also Mariota.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Mariota sucked too.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, dude, they've had terrible quarterbacks for like
- 4:26Speaker 2: six seven.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Years that they're never throwing the ball. Oh, hey, who's
- 4:29Speaker 1: the guy I asked you about who's on your team?
- 4:31Speaker 1: He's got the crazy name. Saved his name right now? Uh,
- 4:35Speaker 1: you said his name was Storm Norton. Yeah, there's a guy.
- 4:38Speaker 1: There's a guy on the on the falcon, Storm Norton.
- 4:42Speaker 1: The only reason they want to be a general. Oh no,
- 4:44Speaker 1: it gets better. The only reason I remembered that is
- 4:46Speaker 1: because I was watching a game earlier in the week.
- 4:48Speaker 1: The Dolphins have a guy named storm Duck that you
- 4:53Speaker 1: think that's his name? Storm?
- 4:55Speaker 5: Well, which Kardashian is a kid named Stormy? Maybe that's
- 4:58Speaker 5: the thing.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Yeah, but Storm Dudu. But this has to be over
- 5:03Speaker 1: years old though. Speaking of funny names, there was a
- 5:06Speaker 1: thing I saw this morning going through all the different websites.
- 5:09Speaker 1: New York Post has a headline here here, I'll have u,
- 5:14Speaker 1: I'll have you read it. Greg Harvard hires drag queen
- 5:19Speaker 1: named Lahoreagistan as a visiting Professoragistan.
- 5:29Speaker 6: Now, clearly that's the stage Namestan someone's gonna name their
- 5:36Speaker 6: kid that pature you Fromagistan, Lahore Vagistan.
- 5:41Speaker 1: My name was Lahore right after my divorce. Get it. Wait,
- 5:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna be teaching a class on RuPaul's drag race.
- 5:49Speaker 1: My god, that's teaching Lahore Bagistan.
- 5:52Speaker 7: Nice, Harvard'd be fun class.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Studies of Gender and Sexuality program will have two classes.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Queer I don't even know if this is f ethno group. Okay, ethnography, ethnography, ethnography.
- 6:09Speaker 1: What is that ethnography? Queer ethnograph? I've not even seen
- 6:13Speaker 1: that was ethnography. Maybe that's another word for geography, ethnic people, castro.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Uh and then and then also she's given me a
- 6:23Speaker 1: politics stop it right now, politics drag race and desire.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Of course there's people out there, uh.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Prot I have a question paying for this class expressing
- 6:36Speaker 3: their disapproval, and some saying that the higher drags Harvard's
- 6:40Speaker 3: name quote through the mud.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I love the name Lahore Magistrates.
- 6:45Speaker 8: That's the best professor on my Starbucks order next time.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Do you think it would be rude for me to
- 6:51Speaker 1: be like Professor Vadge it is to be all catch
- 6:54Speaker 1: about it. Yeah, Storm the duck, he's a cornerback for
- 6:59Speaker 1: the Miami Dolphins. Storm Okay, that blame the first one
- 7:03Speaker 1: Storm Norton, Norton place for plays for the Falcons and
- 7:07Speaker 1: what was it? What was that? What was that? Bit
- 7:10Speaker 1: Key and peel? Oh the best? Yeah there is. It's
- 7:15Speaker 1: like the done the East West. Yeah, oh dude, the
- 7:20Speaker 1: guy and hey, uh you guys, this is a real person.
- 7:25Speaker 1: He plays for Eastern Michigan. In his legal name, not
- 7:30Speaker 1: a stage name, is Noah Nigga k and I G
- 7:36Speaker 1: g A. And people are having a field day with that,
- 7:38Speaker 1: as you can imagine. But he's leaned into it. He
- 7:41Speaker 1: is selling merchandise, damn and and so of course there
- 7:46Speaker 1: are people who are upset by it. But it's it's
- 7:49Speaker 1: legally his name.
- 7:50Speaker 9: Yeah, don't blame him.
- 7:51Speaker 1: It's not like his parents even like changed their name
- 7:53Speaker 1: as a joke like that. I guess that's just the family.
- 7:57Speaker 8: Does the parents know that when they named him to
- 8:01Speaker 8: what's the difference?
- 8:01Speaker 9: It's their last name.
- 8:02Speaker 8: The name though wasn't Yeah, but to pick Noah's the
- 8:05Speaker 8: first name.
- 8:05Speaker 1: There was like a Dave Chappelle, just crazy, there's that
- 8:10Speaker 1: Dave Chappelle. But the Chappelle show bit where like like
- 8:13Speaker 1: the family. They had an I don't I'm not even
- 8:17Speaker 1: guess the name because I'm gonna get it wrong. It
- 8:19Speaker 1: is yeah, but it's like, oh, look he's got those lips,
- 8:22Speaker 1: He's got those whatever, dude, it was. That show is
- 8:25Speaker 1: so good. I feel like I'm seeing more Chappelle. That's
- 8:28Speaker 1: a bit that that pop up. Yeah you were You've
- 8:30Speaker 1: never been a Key and Peel fan. And thank god
- 8:32Speaker 1: our friend Charlamagne and the God just backed me out
- 8:35Speaker 1: recently on a podcast saying how terrible that they had. Yeah,
- 8:42Speaker 1: you want to hear some other good college football name?
- 8:44Speaker 9: Yes, please?
- 8:46Speaker 1: The realist Clark. He plays for Kent State. There's a
- 8:51Speaker 1: wide receiver who plays for Rice Mo m O h
- 8:55Speaker 1: Billity Mobile.
- 8:57Speaker 9: Yeah, you need to get a a scooter.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Road Tuggle is a wide receiver for Purdue.
- 9:02Speaker 9: Is he an American gladiator?

- 9:56Speaker 1: Alpha Khan it's his name. And then you got Panda Askew.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Like that, there's an offensive lineman for East Carolina. You
- 10:05Speaker 1: also get really good names when you start getting into
- 10:07Speaker 1: March Madness because people go here are the best names
- 10:10Speaker 1: in the bracket, and they'll make a bracket of fun
- 10:13Speaker 1: names of players who are on teams that are in
- 10:15Speaker 1: the bracket like that, or you know, in the tournament.
- 10:20Speaker 2: D A T.
- 10:20Speaker 1: You can help us with this one. Didn't like the
- 10:24Speaker 1: coach's son of the Warriors. He changed his name because
- 10:27Speaker 1: the broadcasters were having like too many issues with it.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Right, Oh yeah, yeah, Nick, Oh no, well Steve Kerr,
- 10:37Speaker 3: Steve Kerr's son is Nick Nick Nick Kerr.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Yeah, but no, you know now he like I want
- 10:45Speaker 1: to say I one nice and deliberate and slow. So
- 10:47Speaker 1: he's he's finally just yeah. No, he changed nick, but
- 10:51Speaker 1: it took a couple of years. The broadcasters like, again, dude,
- 10:54Speaker 1: we can't do this.
- 10:55Speaker 8: No couple of years.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Yeah no, they're in eastern Michigan. He's just leaned into it.
- 10:59Speaker 1: He's selling all kinds of gear. Dude, he's making dumb
- 11:01Speaker 1: money on the merch. They're they're writing articles about it.
- 11:04Speaker 8: I've seen tons of memes on mind.
- 11:06Speaker 1: People try to they're uh, they're wearing their gear, and
- 11:09Speaker 1: there have been people trying to get it shut down,
- 11:11Speaker 1: and you just think, hey, man, here's the thing you're
- 11:14Speaker 1: gonna hear about it anyway.
- 11:15Speaker 9: Yeah, he looks like the whitest frat boy on her.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Yeah he does. And it's not like he chose his name,
- 11:21Speaker 1: especially his last name. He was born into it, embracing it. Yeah.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Eight seven seven forty four, Woody, that's phone number. Hit
- 11:28Speaker 1: us up with the text over to two to nine
- 11:29Speaker 1: eight seven. We're gonna take a break, we'll come back.
- 11:32Speaker 1: How about the Friday Fail store. Yeah, we'll have those
- 11:35Speaker 1: for you next on the Woody Show. Hang on, Oh,
- 11:44Speaker 1: I think I know this is I got an email
- 11:50Speaker 1: here this is from Sarah subjects Menace Birthday wishless Oh.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Sarah says, hello, we heard Menace wanted some water as
- 12:06Speaker 1: part of his birthday month wish list. We would like
- 12:09Speaker 1: to send a few cases over to your studios for
- 12:11Speaker 1: the Woodies show team and of course Menace to enjoy
- 12:14Speaker 1: the purest tasting water on Earth. Please advise on delivery
- 12:18Speaker 1: address so we can have some of the cases dropped
- 12:19Speaker 1: off early next week. That's from Sarah, who's at Icelandical
- 12:26Speaker 1: the best I don't.
- 12:27Speaker 9: Remember that being no, keep it on the list.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Now here's the same brilliant move from Sarah. That is
- 12:35Speaker 1: really I think she's gonna win employee of the month
- 12:38Speaker 1: because she knows how to get the plug. You know, hey,
- 12:43Speaker 1: we'll just send something to Menace for his birthday month.
- 12:46Speaker 5: I'll say, I feel like the tag for Icelandic water
- 12:48Speaker 5: should be Icelandic. It's not just for the airport anymore,
- 12:51Speaker 5: because I only ever see at the.
- 12:52Speaker 1: End that's true, you know, yeah, that's true. Anyway, Thank
- 12:55Speaker 1: you to Sarah.
- 12:56Speaker 9: Sarah will be hydrated.
- 12:58Speaker 1: She's the director of HR and Administrations. Job over there. Yeah,
- 13:05Speaker 1: the Menace Birthday month wish list. If you can help
- 13:07Speaker 1: with any of those things. We got it posted for
- 13:09Speaker 1: you on our Instagram at the Woody Show. I think
- 13:13Speaker 1: we're getting closer to being able to, you know, start
- 13:16Speaker 1: doing the contest to win the trip to Dubai. You're
- 13:19Speaker 1: really ripping out for the extreme weekend trip. You'll go
- 13:22Speaker 1: with Medicine I first class on Emirates to Dubai. But
- 13:26Speaker 1: we're not well, I'm not leaving the airport. Medic going
- 13:29Speaker 1: to leave the airport for a couple of things, only
- 13:32Speaker 1: going to be on the ground in Dubai for about
- 13:33Speaker 1: six hours and then it's right back sixteen hour flight back.
- 13:38Speaker 5: I have a possibly stupid question, is it the same
- 13:40Speaker 5: exact plane that just waits or is probably it's probably
- 13:43Speaker 5: can't have that many right, it's.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Probably the same plane. Yeah, a lot of time this
- 13:48Speaker 1: this plane will be on that thin How tired the
- 13:51Speaker 1: plane is going to be? Yeah, because that's because that's
- 13:56Speaker 1: the plane is thinking. Boy, am I tired? Hours express?
- 14:02Speaker 1: I had some conversations yesterday. Yeah, we're working through that
- 14:06Speaker 1: whole thing. I still don't have the answer on if
- 14:09Speaker 1: you're able to go there and back with medic and
- 14:11Speaker 1: I Medicin I are doing that. We're getting there be
- 14:14Speaker 1: there for six hours, fly right back because we're gonna
- 14:17Speaker 1: be back for the show Monday morning.
- 14:18Speaker 5: But also, you're an adult. You don't need menace and
- 14:20Speaker 5: what need to hold your hand coming back?
- 14:22Speaker 1: No, you don't. But if we can do that, if
- 14:25Speaker 1: the company can figure out a way, you know, for
- 14:27Speaker 1: the lease or whatever it is that you'd have to
- 14:29Speaker 1: sign for that, that's what you're doing. Yeah, we're not like, oh,
- 14:32Speaker 1: just stay. No, the whole bit is going there for
- 14:34Speaker 1: an extreme weekend trip if we have to and there's
- 14:38Speaker 1: no other way around it, rather than not do it
- 14:39Speaker 1: at all, you'll stay there for the forty eight hours. Again,
- 14:42Speaker 1: the hotel's on your dime. I'm not paying for it,
- 14:44Speaker 1: and we're not paying the taxes on the trip. We're
- 14:46Speaker 1: already giving you a twenty five thousand dollars round trip
- 14:50Speaker 1: first class ticket on Emirates. Yeah. And there's so many
- 14:53Speaker 1: hotels available and Dubai they're actually surprisingly affordable and super luxury. Yeah.
- 14:59Speaker 9: And there's one at the airport.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Yeah, that was like we looked it up like a
- 15:02Speaker 1: luxury airport at the hotel's like two hundred bucks a
- 15:05Speaker 1: night for a luxury spot. I'm not sure i'd want
- 15:09Speaker 1: to stay like at a hostel, and you don't need
- 15:11Speaker 1: to in Dubai. But yeah, so anyway, I'll have some
- 15:14Speaker 1: clarity on that, hopefully here in the next couple of days,
- 15:17Speaker 1: and then we'll give you a chance to go to
- 15:19Speaker 1: Dubai for an extreme weekend trip with medicine noise, all right?
- 15:23Speaker 1: Eight seven seven forty four what Friday check ins on
- 15:26Speaker 1: the text two to nine eight seven. Time for the
- 15:29Speaker 1: Friday Failed story. Gentlemen, boys and girls, Time for the
- 16:15Speaker 1: Friday fail starting. Oh, people thought to have a perfect plan.
- 16:20Speaker 1: The planet could never go wrong. But then somewhere along
- 16:23Speaker 1: the line it went from being a great idea to
- 16:25Speaker 1: one big stake in mega uber ulpstro good dude, that
- 16:45Speaker 1: was strong in the water today icelanding, icelandic apparently not
- 16:50Speaker 1: just for the airport anymore. That's right, all right, So
- 16:53Speaker 1: first Friday Fail story of the week. This guy in Nevada.
- 16:55Speaker 1: He decided that he was going to skydive for his birthday.
- 16:59Speaker 1: He was excited when he jumped out with his instructor,
- 17:02Speaker 1: but then the main parachute didn't open. Now, don't worry,
- 17:07Speaker 1: of course, there are backup shoots, except that one didn't open. It.
- 17:17Speaker 1: So now uh, now they're falling toward earth from eleven
- 17:22Speaker 1: thousand feet high. The only thing they said they could
- 17:25Speaker 1: do at this point was prey. So there's your spoiler alert.
- 17:27Speaker 1: They did live. They hit the ground somehow survived. I
- 17:30Speaker 1: don't know how that happened. I mean airlifted to the hospital.
- 17:34Speaker 1: The instructor is still in critical condition. The birthday boy
- 17:37Speaker 1: fractured pelvis, broken ribs, perforated lung, kidney laceration, back fractures,
- 17:43Speaker 1: but alive and telling the story.
- 17:45Speaker 4: Yeah, good god, Yeah right, there's no reason for skydiving.
- 17:58Speaker 1: From Missouri where this guy, he was in the parking
- 18:00Speaker 1: lot of Missouri State University, just chilling. Decided to cure
- 18:04Speaker 1: his boredom by vandalizing seventeen different cars there in the
- 18:08Speaker 1: parking lot. He shattered windshields, he ripped off wiper blades,
- 18:12Speaker 1: tore off side mirrors, dented some hoods because you're bored. Yeah,
- 18:17Speaker 1: I'm bored, just doing this to other people's crap. Yep,
- 18:21Speaker 1: people suck. I'm just bored.
- 18:23Speaker 8: I'm just going to destroy the can I terrorize the
- 18:25Speaker 8: community a better than doing drugs.
- 18:27Speaker 1: So he was out of there, not so much. He
- 18:31Speaker 1: made it out of there without getting caught by the
- 18:32Speaker 1: security cameras. They saw everything, and the cops they were
- 18:35Speaker 1: able to use that to id him. But when they
- 18:38Speaker 1: picked him up and they questioned him, he denied everything,
- 18:40Speaker 1: of course. But then they went through his phone and
- 18:43Speaker 1: they saw some questions that he had pumped in the
- 18:45Speaker 1: chat GPT, including can I get in trouble for damaging cars?
- 18:51Speaker 1: Chat GPT's response quote seek help. So he was arrested
- 18:57Speaker 1: for felony first degree property damage and he's looking out
- 19:01Speaker 1: four years in Fail jail. Idiot sailed. A couple of
- 19:06Speaker 1: cops in Texas were patrolling on horseback when they stopped
- 19:10Speaker 1: a guy for walking in the middle of the road.
- 19:12Speaker 1: There was clearly something off of the guys. They started
- 19:15Speaker 1: questioning him. They asked if they could search him. He
- 19:16Speaker 1: says no. That's when one of the officers cracked a
- 19:19Speaker 1: joke and they go, hey, man, you know this horse
- 19:22Speaker 1: I'm on it's a drug sniffing horse. Just a joke
- 19:26Speaker 1: spook the guy. He takes off running. They caught up
- 19:30Speaker 1: with him and guess what, yeah's no drugs at all.
- 19:33Speaker 1: He had drugs on him. He was arrested, taken to
- 19:38Speaker 1: Fail jail, slud trying to outrun a police horse jail.
- 19:42Speaker 1: I mean, your dad works with horses. Do you think
- 19:44Speaker 1: you could train to horse the sniff out drugs? I
- 19:46Speaker 1: mean they're pretty smart. I don't know. I don't know
- 19:49Speaker 1: if their sense of smells any good.
- 19:51Speaker 8: How would they tell you, like their tails, stop their foot?
- 19:56Speaker 1: This is Colcaine, probably sniff at all. How about this one?
- 20:03Speaker 1: You got this story about this person in Rhode Is
- 20:06Speaker 1: on this chick, she gets pulled over by the cops.
- 20:08Speaker 1: According to the report, she committed multiple traffic violations. Greg,
- 20:11Speaker 1: was she drunk? You bet? You know it. She was arrested.
- 20:15Speaker 1: They get it out of the police station. She uses
- 20:17Speaker 1: her phone call to hit up her husband, Hey, come
- 20:19Speaker 1: pick me up. He shows up. Greg. Was he drunk?
- 20:22Speaker 1: You bet it? Definitely was so, And they weren't together,
- 20:28Speaker 1: so they were both drunk different places, so they arrested
- 20:30Speaker 1: him as well. Now he tried to fight them, like
- 20:33Speaker 1: physically fight them as they were arresting him. All that
- 20:36Speaker 1: did was add more charges in sales. The next one
- 20:41Speaker 1: here is from Charlottesville, Virginia, which I understand is for lovers,
- 20:46Speaker 1: but it's also where you've got this guy who's known
- 20:48Speaker 1: for climbing things in the area. He decided that he
- 20:52Speaker 1: would climb to the roof of the local aquatic center,
- 20:55Speaker 1: you know, to entertain people. Yeah, Medice was known as
- 20:58Speaker 1: headstand Guy in high school climate building guy. Remember he
- 21:03Speaker 1: told us that's where he screwed up his neck because
- 21:05Speaker 1: we had him try to recreate headstane guy. See. The
- 21:08Speaker 1: only problem is in high school, I was eighty pounds
- 21:11Speaker 1: the rest that I am. Anyway, so this guy throws
- 21:13Speaker 1: his Spider Man costume on, does some climbing. Everybody saw
- 21:16Speaker 1: him make his way up there. They noticed that he's
- 21:18Speaker 1: on the roof for a while. Well because Spider Man,
- 21:21Speaker 1: I guess, dislocated his kneecap on the way up and
- 21:24Speaker 1: couldn't get back down. So the fire department had to
- 21:26Speaker 1: come get Spider Man take him to the hospital. Dumping sailed. Yeah. Fox,
- 21:32Speaker 1: and here I'll give you my favorite story of the week, Morgan,
- 21:36Speaker 1: you are going to love this. It's it's from Florida
- 21:40Speaker 1: where this family was at home. They were sleeping. The
- 21:42Speaker 1: husband heard a noise woke him up. He wakes up.
- 21:45Speaker 1: He realizes, hey, man, someone broke into the house, which
- 21:49Speaker 1: for most people would be a terrifying experience. But the
- 21:52Speaker 1: burglar picked the wrong house. The homeowner is a guy
- 21:57Speaker 1: named Henry Rojas. He's an MMA fighter. Oh n and uh.
- 22:01Speaker 1: He confronted the intruder and then proceeded to kick the
- 22:03Speaker 1: ever living ish out of this guy.
- 22:06Speaker 8: I love these stories.
- 22:07Speaker 1: According to the police report, the intruder was already black
- 22:10Speaker 1: and blue by the time they arrived.
- 22:12Speaker 8: Yeah, first round knockout.
- 22:14Speaker 1: He was arrested in charged with breaking and entering. No
- 22:17Speaker 1: charges for mister Rojas, and to add insult to his
- 22:20Speaker 1: multiple injuries, he wasn't even supposed to be there. I
- 22:22Speaker 1: guess he had gotten drunk and accidentally mistook this house
- 22:26Speaker 1: for a friend's house who lived in the area.
- 22:29Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, god works, It's all right. Yeah, here's before
- 22:34Speaker 8: to another fire too.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Here's mister Rojas on the news. I'm prepared. You know.
- 22:38Speaker 1: My first thing, I don't lie your guns. I've been
- 22:41Speaker 1: looking for for a knife or nothing, only got on
- 22:44Speaker 1: my hands. That's it. Nice that wrong house, brother, What
- 22:51Speaker 1: what did you would say of people at ninety three?
- 22:54Speaker 1: I would sell the world. Yes, come near my house.
- 23:03Speaker 4: The wood show.
- 23:07Speaker 1: I got a text here pot show. It's my birthday.
- 23:14Speaker 1: But like what it's just another day when you're this old,
- 23:18Speaker 1: being a dad of a sixteen year old girl. I'm
- 23:19Speaker 1: curious what app what he is using the track his
- 23:22Speaker 1: son's phone. Oh yeah, looking to see all of her
- 23:24Speaker 1: texts from her boyfriend. Oh side, stay stoopid. Yeah, is
- 23:31Speaker 1: greatly appreciated. Happy birthday month, menace. Thank you. I appreciate it.
- 23:37Speaker 1: That's from the text nine four nine send your text
- 23:39Speaker 1: go to two two nine eight seven. Now I will
- 23:41Speaker 1: say my son is responsible for being in the situation
- 23:45Speaker 1: that he is in with mommy daddy phone, as I
- 23:47Speaker 1: call it, I look into his information. There's a couple
- 23:51Speaker 1: of different things you can do, and I'll tell you that,
- 23:53Speaker 1: but I will tell you that, yes, you need to
- 23:55Speaker 1: be hypervigilant as a parent. You need to know as
- 23:58Speaker 1: best you can do your best work to figure out
- 24:01Speaker 1: what your kids are up to and where they're going
- 24:03Speaker 1: and who they're with and are they really doing the
- 24:05Speaker 1: things that they say they're doing. And you could do
- 24:08Speaker 1: that without being super obvious, but it's a way to
- 24:11Speaker 1: test to make sure that they are earning and keeping
- 24:14Speaker 1: your trust. Like if they tell you're gonna they're gonna
- 24:16Speaker 1: be a particular place, like maybe one of these days
- 24:19Speaker 1: follow up just kind of just kind of roll down
- 24:21Speaker 1: there without even them knowing that you went down there,
- 24:23Speaker 1: but just to see if they're actually there, like, oh,
- 24:25Speaker 1: we went to the mall, Like just maybe to see
- 24:28Speaker 1: if they're at the mall, yeah, costume or even call
- 24:32Speaker 1: them hey, Uh, I was out and you know, I
- 24:34Speaker 1: just popped by. Hey, I wanted to give you a
- 24:36Speaker 1: couple of bucks for something. I'll just figure that I'm
- 24:39Speaker 1: right outside the Macy's once you pop on out, give
- 24:42Speaker 1: you a half.
- 24:42Speaker 4: Hour, you know.
- 24:45Speaker 1: So there's different things. But the other the other part
- 24:47Speaker 1: I will say, before you give whatever, you have your
- 24:50Speaker 1: medas on the on the subject, also be aware that
- 24:54Speaker 1: you may learn things and find out things that you
- 24:57Speaker 1: didn't want to know. So you're not super concerned about it,
- 25:02Speaker 1: but it's something that you didn't want to see or
- 25:03Speaker 1: he didn't want to know.
- 25:04Speaker 10: Yeah, right, because it is it is Uh, it is
- 25:09Speaker 10: an invasion of privacy for sure, but I think it's
- 25:12Speaker 10: also part of your job as a parent to make
- 25:15Speaker 10: sure that you know what's going on.
- 25:17Speaker 1: GAB is the company that uh that's my son's mommy
- 25:21Speaker 1: daddy phone is why I call it, And so they
- 25:24Speaker 1: can't add context. There's no web browser. There are apps,
- 25:27Speaker 1: but it's apps that I would have to then put
- 25:30Speaker 1: on his phone from my phone. So he's got like
- 25:32Speaker 1: the ESPN app, He's got stuff like that so we
- 25:35Speaker 1: can see hockey scores and things that he's interested in.
- 25:37Speaker 1: But there's no social media apps, there's no web browser,
- 25:41Speaker 1: nothing like that. He's on lockdown and that was since
- 25:45Speaker 1: what April we were on the Disney cruise.
- 25:48Speaker 8: How much longer is he going to have this phone?
- 25:50Speaker 1: We'll see, I don't know, we'll see because here's the thing.
- 25:53Speaker 1: We've been burned a handful of times, and so now
- 25:56Speaker 1: we're here and it's not gonna be one of those
- 25:58Speaker 1: things where after like a week of gone, oh, I
- 25:59Speaker 1: got you're been fine for the week, I said, man,
- 26:01Speaker 1: you're gonna have to earn your way out of this.
- 26:03Speaker 5: And is I mean, I'm sure kid would be like
- 26:05Speaker 5: uh no, But is there any part of him that's, like,
- 26:08Speaker 5: you know what, I feel better not having all this
- 26:10Speaker 5: crap on my phone?
- 26:11Speaker 1: He says he doesn't really care.
- 26:13Speaker 9: Okay, that's awesome actually, but.
- 26:15Speaker 1: He doesn't say in a way like I don't care,
- 26:16Speaker 1: doesn't say it like in a defiant way.
- 26:18Speaker 9: It doesn't change his life, and honestly.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Probably for the best because social media is nothing but poison,
- 26:25Speaker 1: right exactly.
- 26:25Speaker 9: That's why I have kids.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I do have a story where I did lie
- 26:29Speaker 1: about my location once and my mom never ever checked
- 26:33Speaker 1: in on me. But I told her that I was
- 26:35Speaker 1: staying at my buddy's house. But I was actually going
- 26:38Speaker 1: on a trip with my girlfriend at the time, two
- 26:40Speaker 1: and a half hours away to go stay at her
- 26:42Speaker 1: sister's house. She showed up to my friend's house just
- 26:45Speaker 1: to check on me, and dude, she's like, you get
- 26:48Speaker 1: back right now. And we just got to the sister's
- 26:51Speaker 1: house two and a half hours away and I had
- 26:54Speaker 1: to come. That had to be the longest ride home. Oh, dude,
- 26:57Speaker 1: knowing on the other end was deaf. It was the worst. Yeah. Now,
- 27:01Speaker 1: the gab phone is also where you know if there
- 27:05Speaker 1: there have been times like where I texted him like
- 27:07Speaker 1: I don't give an ish, like you call me right now, yeah, right,
- 27:12Speaker 1: and it shows up as oh, there's a there's a
- 27:16Speaker 1: questionable text that was sent to you, so it won't
- 27:18Speaker 1: show me all of his text messages. Yeah, there's like
- 27:21Speaker 1: certain things like language or if there's like maybe some
- 27:24Speaker 1: kind of violent thing or some kind of sexual thing.
- 27:26Speaker 1: It will let me know.
- 27:27Speaker 9: Can you put in the keywords you want to have
- 27:29Speaker 9: notified that.
- 27:30Speaker 1: I don't think so. I think it just kind of
- 27:32Speaker 1: screen standard. Yeah, there are some apps that you can
- 27:35Speaker 1: get that you can see everything. You could see every
- 27:38Speaker 1: web search, you can see every action, you can see
- 27:41Speaker 1: every text in out, every photo that's taken, every video,
- 27:45Speaker 1: every and that one's called And we don't have this one.
- 27:49Speaker 1: We did at one point, but then I said, you
- 27:51Speaker 1: know what, mommy daddy phone's better. It's called m spy,
- 27:55Speaker 1: like Mary M spy and you can look that up.
- 28:01Speaker 1: You can just go online m spy and but that
- 28:04Speaker 1: that will is the person using that know that it's
- 28:06Speaker 1: one of those phones. No, it's any phone. I could
- 28:10Speaker 1: put spots on your phone, but probably without you knowing.
- 28:14Speaker 9: Yeah, aust my settings.
- 28:19Speaker 1: But I'm saying people people use it to spy on
- 28:22Speaker 1: their spouse. The spouse is up to if they're cheating,
- 28:26Speaker 1: you know, different things. Exactly what I looked in, Like
- 28:32Speaker 1: I said, I know about it because I looked into
- 28:34Speaker 1: because we're trying to figure out, like how do we
- 28:36Speaker 1: keep an eye on this stuff? And then I figure, like,
- 28:37Speaker 1: you know what, this is too much. The the mommy
- 28:39Speaker 1: daddy phone is a much better way to go. It's
- 28:41Speaker 1: really a thing. The gab phone is really more for
- 28:45Speaker 1: it's forget like kids first cell phone. Your kids have activities.
- 28:48Speaker 1: You're looking to coordinate where the pickup or whatever it is,
- 28:51Speaker 1: or if they need to get a hold of you,
- 28:52Speaker 1: they can get a hold of you or you set
- 28:55Speaker 1: like whatever context they're able to text or call. Could
- 29:00Speaker 1: do that start her phone exactly. It's an it's an
- 29:03Speaker 1: android yook, but it's called gap G A B B. Yeah,
- 29:10Speaker 1: if you, if you, if you want to check it out.
- 29:13Speaker 7: So Gina, I have a funny little thing real quick.
- 29:15Speaker 7: Oh yeah, you know how you love air tags?
- 29:17Speaker 9: Oh A big fan?
- 29:17Speaker 8: Well I found out.
- 29:18Speaker 7: They work because I have one in my suitcase and
- 29:20Speaker 7: my friend picked up my suitcase last night for me,
- 29:23Speaker 7: and then she called me like an hour later, like
- 29:24Speaker 7: freaking out. She's like, do you have an air tag?
- 29:27Speaker 7: Like this thing's going off in my car and this
- 29:29Speaker 7: my phone's like these alerts are going off saying someone's
- 29:31Speaker 7: following me and I didn't know that it did that.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, because I remember when they first came
- 29:37Speaker 1: out people were taking the air tags and like putting
- 29:39Speaker 1: them under people's cars, and so like a creeper would like,
- 29:43Speaker 1: you know, or people that wanted to steal your car,
- 29:45Speaker 1: they would just put an air tag somewhere on your car.
- 29:48Speaker 1: They wouldn't steal it right there, they'd wait for you
- 29:50Speaker 1: to drive it home and then in the middle of
- 29:52Speaker 1: the night going then take your CA. So now a
- 29:53Speaker 1: phone will alert you.
- 29:56Speaker 8: It's actually really cool that it does.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Alert you if you have an air tag you that
- 30:00Speaker 1: is not part of registered, you know, in.
- 30:02Speaker 8: Your time and it may be the alarm go off too.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Yeah, Covin does that with the AirPods too, Like you
- 30:09Speaker 1: have some air pods inner you that are not yours,
- 30:12Speaker 1: let you know eight seven seven forty four. Wooding set
- 30:14Speaker 1: us a text two two nine eight seven back in
- 30:20Speaker 1: a bit
