Speaker 1: took a spiritual gift assessment in your church, Amen, and

Speaker 1: organized church. It's something to look at, something to go over.

Speaker 1: An assessment. Amen. I don't really buy into it too much, Amen,

Speaker 1: because you could have a spiritual gift that God already

Speaker 1: had told you about, and then because of an assessment,

Speaker 1: you might be like, oh no, that's not my gift anymore.

Speaker 1: This is my gift because the survey says Amen, so

Speaker 1: be careful with those surveys and with those assessments. Go

Speaker 1: to the word of God first to filter out what

Speaker 1: God has for your life. First, Amen, And then you

Speaker 1: can take assessments, tests or evaluations all that. I don't

Speaker 1: think it will hurt or harm. But don't let an

Speaker 1: evaluation or an assessment or survey change the course of

Speaker 1: given spiritual gifts and spread them out among your people,

Speaker 1: your children. Thank you Father for doing that. Thank you

Speaker 1: for love, God for qualifying the unqualified. Thank you Lord

Speaker 1: God for using those things that the world says and

Speaker 1: those people that the world says are not qualified, and

Speaker 1: you have qualified us to move your gospel throughout the world,

Speaker 1: and your gospel message will spread throughout the nations. Thank you,

Speaker 1: We have one source where we get these spiritual gifts,

Speaker 1: different gods. Know, we serve one God and three persons.

Speaker 1: Almighty Yahweh Prince of Peace. There are different kinds of

Speaker 1: spiritual gifts, but the same spirit is the source of

Speaker 1: them all. There are different kinds of service, but we

Speaker 1: serve the same Lord. God works in different ways, but

Speaker 1: it is the same God who does the work in

Speaker 1: all of us. We have to get this clear man.

Speaker 1: A spiritual gift is given to each of us so

Speaker 1: we can help each other. Get this. Jesus gave us

Speaker 1: is the one and only spirit who distributes all these gifts.

Speaker 1: because it's not the assessment that's gonna reveal to you

Speaker 1: your spiritual gift. It can. God could use the assessment

Speaker 1: to give you an idea of what your spiritual gift is.

Speaker 1: He can use anything he wants to use. But I

Speaker 1: truly believe it. We go to his word first. Amen,

Speaker 1: We'll see it before we see it in any kind

Speaker 1: of survey. On assessment, we see what our spiritual gift

Speaker 1: would be. And it's not a different spirit. If you're

Speaker 1: God who distributes each gift. Every person should have the

Speaker 1: but he does list the gifts, and he also lists

Speaker 1: the fruit of the spirit. Amen. And we have it

Speaker 1: with Jesus when he walked the earth, he had it all.

Speaker 1: He has it all, Amen, because he's God. He has

Speaker 1: that advantage of being God in the flesh. Amen. We

Speaker 1: have the Holy Spirit God living in us, working his

Speaker 1: work through us. And the Bible says, we read it

Speaker 1: gift as a believer. Please believe that. Don't let anybody

Speaker 1: will speak to us about our spiritual gift. We have

Speaker 1: a Father in heaven who listens, who responds. He knows

Speaker 1: exactly what he's doing in our lives, through us and

Speaker 1: I know people who operate in different spiritual gifts, many

Speaker 1: spiritual gifts, Amen, and that's a blessing. I believe the

Speaker 1: reason why people get more spiritual gifts than others, this

Speaker 1: is just my opinion, Amen, is because I think they're

Speaker 1: just honoring God and they're and they're responsive to God,

Speaker 1: and they're just sensitive to the Holy Spirit. Amen. And

Speaker 1: they move accordingly and they don't force nothing, they to

Speaker 1: try to be someone or something or not a man

Speaker 1: that just being themselves according to who God said they are.

Speaker 1: We need to know what spiritual gifts are available and

Speaker 1: I want that. I want that type of fellowship, I

Speaker 1: we won't be chasing people around the world who have

Speaker 1: the spiritual gift of healing, spiritual gift of casting out demons,

Speaker 1: because we just read that each of us have at

Speaker 1: least by minimum of spiritual gift. Amen. So, for instance,

Speaker 1: if I had the gift of healing, Amen, and you

Speaker 1: see me activate my gift and people are getting healed

Speaker 1: because the Bible says that when we lay hands on

Speaker 1: the sick, they shall recover. Notice the Bible says that

Speaker 1: it's not a certain person who lays their hands on

Speaker 1: think that's an occupation. People say it's a calling. It

Speaker 1: could be a calling, part of the calling. Amen, But

Speaker 1: it's a gift, apossible, it's a gift, evangelist, it's a gift.

Speaker 1: scripture says, Amen, and those are gifts. People think that's power,

Speaker 1: And then as humans, we started adding all kinds of

Speaker 1: because when I first got saved, you know, they would

Speaker 1: in ministry, and we're gonna put you in the kids ministry.

Speaker 1: As if that's the starting point. You know, we we

Speaker 1: as you know, an organized church, sometimes we make stuff

Speaker 1: up because I don't know where they would get that from.

Speaker 1: It seems it seems right though, it seems like common

Speaker 1: sense or basic you know, wisdom. We'll say, well, we'll

Speaker 1: start them off with the kids first, then we'll go

Speaker 1: to the teens, and then we put them in the adults,

Speaker 1: and then after the adults, if the adults receive them,

Speaker 1: his gift or whatever them will excel them to maybe

Speaker 1: you know, evangelist or past or whatever. You don't see

Speaker 1: that in the scriptures, but I know it sounds good

Speaker 1: and it makes sense. Amen. So you might get saved,

Speaker 1: for instance, and God will put you over the woman.

Speaker 1: If you're a you're a woman to God, He'll probably

Speaker 1: put you over the women's ministry. And it could be

Speaker 1: adult woman, it could be women in prison, it could

Speaker 1: be young adult women. Right. Or if since I'm a man,

Speaker 1: men in prison adults. So but in the church, I know, uh,

Speaker 1: some churches that I've seen, at least I only been.

Speaker 1: got to know a lot of pastors, a lot of leadership,

Speaker 1: mine says that the church has become to corporate, and

Speaker 1: the church is so corporate, when is it? Where is

Speaker 1: it in a scripture that a pastor retires? Think about it?

Speaker 1: or a teacher decide. You know, I did that in

Speaker 1: my early years. I'm not doing that no more. I'm

Speaker 1: not serving in that no more. That's for the leadership.

Speaker 1: And we started looking at a spiritual gift as a

Speaker 1: will transform and attract people to His kingdom. See how

Speaker 1: Assessment came out pretty decent and it says I was evangelists.

Speaker 1: anointed evangelist by my first pastor. A man God by

Speaker 1: the service and said, young man, come to the fore

Speaker 1: front and just laid hands on me as evangelist. Amen,

Speaker 1: and I can't stop talking about Jesus ever since that point.

Speaker 1: to do ministry. And as a matter of fact, the

Speaker 1: outdoor music festivals. It starts tonight today, Amen, and I

Speaker 1: have the opportunity, by way of partnership with a body

Speaker 1: of Christ, Amen, to go do some evangelism ministry helps

Speaker 1: they set up, they need somebody's people to tear down.

Speaker 1: kind of spiritual gift do I have? And you'll probably

Speaker 1: you're using, but you're probably not convinced, and you probably

Speaker 1: don't think you're qualify. You probably don't think people could

Speaker 1: see the gift, or you probably don't think you could

Speaker 1: be useful in the Kingdom of God. Don't believe the

Speaker 1: lies of the enemy. The Lord says we have spiritual gifts.

Speaker 1: He himself distributes these gifts. So trust God on the distribution,

Speaker 1: and when he reveals the gift, you're probably already operating

Speaker 1: in it. When he reveals that gift, trust the gift,

Speaker 1: Trust the Lord who gave you the gift, trust the

Speaker 1: one who distributes the gift, and start helping the body

Speaker 1: at Christ first, and then you'll see your gift being

Speaker 1: built up. Amen. And as long as you have a

Speaker 1: clear conscience and you don't become arrogant about it or

Speaker 1: anything like that, God will use you mightily in that gift. Amen.

Speaker 1: Every part of the body counts. Every part of the

Speaker 1: Body of Christ matters, Amen, So move forward in the

Speaker 1: spiritual gift. Use your gift. I want to encourage you

Speaker 1: to go to the scripture and read the whole chapter

Speaker 1: for yourself. We were in first corenth then chapter twelve

Speaker 1: we camped out of verses four to seven and verse eleven.

Speaker 1: But I suggest you read the whole chapter for yourself,

Speaker 1: so that way you can know that every believer, including yourself,
