- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on Relatables and if you ever break up
- 0:02Speaker 1: with someone and you did really really love them or
- 0:05Speaker 1: like them, don't tell them you're still in love with
- 0:07Speaker 1: them or give them a chance that you're ever going
- 0:10Speaker 1: to get back with them, just so you feel less guilty.
- 0:23Speaker 1: The Relatables podcast is hosted by mister Jake Craig aka
- 0:27Speaker 1: Daddy and myself Audie Clark aka Mummy. Thanks for tuning in, baddies,
- 0:33Speaker 1: Thanks for listening. Mummy and Daddy and their baddies are
- 0:36Speaker 1: back again. We hope you guys are having a splendid,
- 0:40Speaker 1: splendid week, and I hope we're going to brighten it
- 0:42Speaker 1: up that little bit more. Yeah, hopefully this just makes
- 0:44Speaker 1: the next you know, half an hour go a week quicker,
- 0:46Speaker 1: do you reckon? People see that Monday notification and they're like, oh,
- 0:49Speaker 1: the latter was uploaded, I hope so, and they get
- 0:51Speaker 1: a little smile and I really hope. So. You know
- 0:53Speaker 1: what something I've noticed is so on my phone, I
- 0:57Speaker 1: have every single, every single hour notifications I turned off
- 1:02Speaker 1: apart from text, message and email. I thought you're going
- 1:06Speaker 1: to do a segue into and Patreon and five dollars,
- 1:14Speaker 1: that's what you were doing. I wasn't, but but what
- 1:17Speaker 1: I was getting to wash Patreon no, I So I
- 1:21Speaker 1: get text messages and emails, yeah, everything else. I just
- 1:25Speaker 1: have to go like look at the app to see
- 1:27Speaker 1: the notification. But I've noticed, like so Joanna, Beth, even you,
- 1:33Speaker 1: like a lot of people like have all their notifications on.
- 1:37Speaker 1: So like every time they get a snapchat and a
- 1:39Speaker 1: message on Instagram and stuff, they it comes up, and
- 1:41Speaker 1: I'm kind of like, I don't know if I want
- 1:43Speaker 1: to go back to that or not. We're just good friends.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Like I see a notification, I reply, yeah, I snapchat you.
- 1:48Speaker 1: I could get a reply and it now I could
- 1:49Speaker 1: get a l yeah, but I feel like I thought
- 1:52Speaker 1: you knew that. I do know that. So I was like,
- 1:53Speaker 1: if you know that, it's like, just text me if
- 1:55Speaker 1: you want to reply straight away, because I will. But
- 1:57Speaker 1: if it's a snapchat, it's like sometimes snapchats I forget
- 2:00Speaker 1: about the most often. Yeah, And so I'll leave someone
- 2:03Speaker 1: there for like hours and then I'll reply and they go,
- 2:05Speaker 1: what did I say? But like, fuck, take away from this.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I have Spotify notifications on, yeah, so I say our
- 2:10Speaker 1: upwards and Patreon notifications Patreon, well, I have Patreon because
- 2:15Speaker 1: the reason I have Patreon is because Patreon sends you
- 2:17Speaker 1: an email when something's uploaded. So every time I, whoever
- 2:21Speaker 1: I subscribe to a Patreon relatable for someone else, it's
- 2:24Speaker 1: I get it's like something such and such just posted
- 2:26Speaker 1: in an email. Yeah, yeah, I'm kind of I'm thinking
- 2:29Speaker 1: about turning my emails off really because I keep getting
- 2:31Speaker 1: spam once all the random pairs of sunglasses, and about
- 2:35Speaker 1: changing my email. Yeah, because when I was like I
- 2:37Speaker 1: made this email when I was like seventeen, I've got
- 2:39Speaker 1: so much fucking spam junk on junk, let me tell you.
- 2:43Speaker 1: And then when I actually have to reply to an
- 2:45Speaker 1: email in my personal one, I've got to go find
- 2:47Speaker 1: it because it takes two minutes. And I've had ten
- 2:50Speaker 1: more emails. I've got like six thousand unread emails, and
- 2:52Speaker 1: I'm thinking, fuck, what am I I think I'll get
- 2:55Speaker 1: my emails up? How many unread emails do you think
- 2:57Speaker 1: I have?
- 2:58Speaker 2: Oh?
- 2:59Speaker 1: Okay, okay, I reckon, you've got twelve thousand? How do
- 3:03Speaker 1: you check on Gmail? I didn't Gmail. Mine's just like
- 3:06Speaker 1: on my email, guess mine four thousand, five, four hundred
- 3:11Speaker 1: and thirty three haven'ty five thousand, four hundred. What do
- 3:13Speaker 1: you say for one? I reckon you got twelve thirteen
- 3:16Speaker 1: thousand and eight hundred, dude, can you do it? Can
- 3:21Speaker 1: you go do a mass delete? I don't know. I
- 3:23Speaker 1: think I'm just gonna sack that email off a new
- 3:26Speaker 1: I would love to do a mass delete, because if
- 3:28Speaker 1: you think about it, it's not like we're important enough
- 3:30Speaker 1: to have an email there in for like, oh we
- 3:32Speaker 1: want you to audition for said movie. We want like
- 3:34Speaker 1: it's not like we're going to miss out on anything,
- 3:36Speaker 1: because if it was important enough, we would have figured
- 3:38Speaker 1: it out by now exactly we've got to go, would
- 3:40Speaker 1: have got more than one email. So I want to
- 3:41Speaker 1: I want to delete on my emails. But uh right,
- 3:46Speaker 1: first things first, we've got things men do unironically. Okay, right,
- 3:52Speaker 1: first one wait wait wait wait wait explain unironically. So
- 3:56Speaker 1: unironically is like, so, okay, if I'm doing something ironically,
- 4:01Speaker 1: I'm doing it as a joke. Okay, I'm doing it
- 4:05Speaker 1: not seriously, but unironically means so like we started this
- 4:11Speaker 1: podcast unironically serious. We're serious about the podcast. We've been
- 4:15Speaker 1: serious about it from the start. But I don't know,
- 4:18Speaker 1: I but like when we make we we posted a
- 4:21Speaker 1: dancing video on our TikTok that was ironic because we
- 4:25Speaker 1: weren't serious. The irony of it, the irony man. So
- 4:28Speaker 1: like you know, like how back in the day, like
- 4:30Speaker 1: Bryce Hall and like all those guys were part of
- 4:32Speaker 1: that era of TikTok where they got famous for doing
- 4:34Speaker 1: dancing videos. They did that unironically. Okay, I get it now.
- 4:38Speaker 1: During the week, Jake sent me an explanation of it.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Fucking shit. He you, guys, I've got this segment idea
- 4:46Speaker 1: and I didn't know what unironically meant, and he explained
- 4:48Speaker 1: it to me. Still didn't get it, but I just
- 4:50Speaker 1: trusted that it would be good. I was like, sounds good, mate,
- 4:53Speaker 1: Then you explain they're good. So first one, things men
- 4:57Speaker 1: do unironically shadow boxing. I'm dead serious. I'm saying you
- 5:04Speaker 1: do it, and ironically I do that to look cool,
- 5:08Speaker 1: scare some people. Protect my girl. Imagine someone saw that
- 5:11Speaker 1: and they're like, oh, I'm looking near him. I mean,
- 5:13Speaker 1: fair enough, I suppose you're practicing. Can you have bad
- 5:16Speaker 1: shadow shadow boxing technique? You're the master, mate, I don't
- 5:21Speaker 1: know you're you. You invented the style. I do have
- 5:23Speaker 1: a world world title. You you're number one, You're here's
- 5:26Speaker 1: how many people play that sport? Your first and last.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I'm the leader of the gang. I might start a
- 5:34Speaker 1: group chat shadow and this, share shadow boxing video, start
- 5:37Speaker 1: a page on Instagram or TikTok of just like shadow boxing,
- 5:40Speaker 1: like boys shadow box, Yeah, what's okay? Girls? And then
- 5:43Speaker 1: girls equality knock him out. It's a shadow boxing he
- 5:49Speaker 1: can't actually knock him out. And ship is how you
- 5:53Speaker 1: knock out the shadow Fucking hell things men do unironically.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Tell you to have a drink of water when you
- 6:00Speaker 1: have a headache. Ah, we are dead. Here go to
- 6:04Speaker 1: how much water have you drank today? Have you had
- 6:06Speaker 1: any food? I think I have more food? Like what
- 6:09Speaker 1: have you eaten? Yeah? You're never allowed to just have
- 6:12Speaker 1: a headache. You have to be it. It has to
- 6:14Speaker 1: be your fault. And we're trying to make your calling out.
- 6:17Speaker 1: My girlfriend right now, she've then and got drunk on
- 6:19Speaker 1: the weekend. She just heaps hungover, Yeah, just complaining Like
- 6:22Speaker 1: I wasn't really complaining, which's just like I'm so tired
- 6:24Speaker 1: and hungover. I was like, oh yeah, fair enough, you
- 6:26Speaker 1: had a big night. Yeah yeah, yeah, I hanged out
- 6:28Speaker 1: her that night and then she goes to me. She's like, oh,
- 6:30Speaker 1: we want to go get dinner, and she's like, I
- 6:31Speaker 1: haven't eaten anything all day. And I was like, what
- 6:34Speaker 1: do you mean. She's like, oh, this is I just
- 6:36Speaker 1: had like a pack of shapes and that was in
- 6:38Speaker 1: some water. Yeah, that's all I've eaten them. So tired.
- 6:41Speaker 1: I'm like, no, wonder, no wonder why you're so tired.
- 6:47Speaker 1: One of my things that annoys me is about girls
- 6:50Speaker 1: is that yeah, they will they will just they will
- 6:53Speaker 1: not eat. Yeah. She's like, I don't really feel like
- 6:56Speaker 1: eating when I'm hung over, Like some of the best
- 6:57Speaker 1: time to eat to soak up all the badness. I'm
- 6:59Speaker 1: so yeah, carb heavy soaka the opposite. I just want
- 7:02Speaker 1: to eat the worst food when I'm hungover. First thing
- 7:05Speaker 1: we used to do when we went out was go
- 7:06Speaker 1: to fucking KFC with the boys or something and like
- 7:09Speaker 1: sit on the curb and eat it and then just
- 7:11Speaker 1: like feel like shit. Like seriously, things men do unironically
- 7:18Speaker 1: flex their bicet whenever we touch it. Oh yeah, mind
- 7:21Speaker 1: a flex like twenty four ceents. I am guilty as
- 7:24Speaker 1: charged on this A really whenever my girlfriend is like,
- 7:27Speaker 1: you know, sometimes you'll be walking in instead of holding hands,
- 7:29Speaker 1: she'll like wrap around, maybe she'll hold the bike. I
- 7:31Speaker 1: thought that was a signal to flex, and so I'll
- 7:33Speaker 1: always just go like I'll just be like tensing the
- 7:37Speaker 1: one arm. I thought that was a signal as soon
- 7:38Speaker 1: as a girl touches your bicet. But it's like if
- 7:40Speaker 1: she doesn't say something as well, like if she does
- 7:43Speaker 1: it and I flex and she doesn't go yeah, like yeah,
- 7:46Speaker 1: fuck go way, that's men fishing for a compliment exactly. Yeah,
- 7:51Speaker 1: things men do unironically only answer the most irrelevant part
- 7:57Speaker 1: of a text message. I feel like this is you
- 8:00Speaker 1: so much. What do you mean shadow boxing? You know
- 8:05Speaker 1: the other day you said your girl sends you hips.
- 8:08Speaker 1: It's like a heaps of questions and you apply to
- 8:09Speaker 1: the latest one. Yeah, yeah, yeah it was. It was
- 8:12Speaker 1: something like the bare minimum for the monomy reply to
- 8:15Speaker 1: both text messages is not just the latest one. It's
- 8:17Speaker 1: a similar thing. Still, to be fair, just send me
- 8:19Speaker 1: one at a time. There's more time to send me
- 8:21Speaker 1: the next one. Do you do it on purpose or
- 8:24Speaker 1: you just you forget to do it? No, I just
- 8:26Speaker 1: I'm pretty good, Actually, I think I'm pretty good. Sometimes
- 8:28Speaker 1: if there's a really really big question, like it's not important,
- 8:30Speaker 1: I don't want to answer that, Like that one's rhetorical.
- 8:33Speaker 1: You're just asking that because you want me to say
- 8:34Speaker 1: yes and yeah. This one, I'm I do. I have
- 8:39Speaker 1: a feeling you do it too. If I'm getting these
- 8:41Speaker 1: men things men do unironically moving their lips instead of
- 8:46Speaker 1: the chapstick when applying mate, I swear you're in my
- 8:50Speaker 1: relationship right now. I had some chapped lips last week
- 8:54Speaker 1: and she got I was doing it in the front
- 8:55Speaker 1: of the mirror and she's like, it's such a boy.
- 8:57Speaker 1: What do you mean? She's like, how you apply that
- 9:00Speaker 1: chap stick? I was like, let me be literally, I'm
- 9:02Speaker 1: a fucking boy. Tell me I'm just a boy again.
- 9:05Speaker 1: And I'm just gonna say, yeah, yeah, I said, I've
- 9:07Speaker 1: seen you've seen my willie. Yeah, I'm a boy. I
- 9:09Speaker 1: am a male. You know I'm a boy. Why are
- 9:12Speaker 1: you making me feel bad? Feel dumb? Oh? This one
- 9:17Speaker 1: I think we may have touched on before. Things men
- 9:19Speaker 1: do on ironically entering beast mode while running up the stairs.
- 9:24Speaker 1: That was the old four one. It's something about being
- 9:29Speaker 1: in your primitive state. Going up the stairs. Is that
- 9:32Speaker 1: what it's called X games. It's like loser murder or something.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Give girls the Okay, this one I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 9:42Speaker 1: do an action for and you're gonna know what I mean.
- 9:44Speaker 1: We don't do We're not guilty of this, Okay, we're
- 9:46Speaker 1: not guilty of Okay things men do on ironically, they
- 9:49Speaker 1: always have to just put up one finger in a
- 9:52Speaker 1: photo like oh, guys always go like it's like yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 9:58Speaker 1: there's something about that. Hey, especially they get like they
- 10:01Speaker 1: have like an arm sleep. They've always goldn't amsleep. Yeah,
- 10:04Speaker 1: it's like it's to show off the arms sleep, and
- 10:06Speaker 1: they can't just do this. They gotta go yeah. It
- 10:08Speaker 1: gives a more emphasis on like the bad tatooing and
- 10:10Speaker 1: they've got number one. We don't do it, but I
- 10:14Speaker 1: know I know some people that do a shacker out there. Yeah.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I always never know what to do with my hands,
- 10:18Speaker 1: to be honest with you, actually, neither taking a couple.
- 10:21Speaker 1: We've taken some photos with like people that have come
- 10:22Speaker 1: up to us and street or even just like taken
- 10:24Speaker 1: a photo with family. Sometimes if I go to put
- 10:27Speaker 1: my hand in my pocket, I'm like, no, that's weird,
- 10:29Speaker 1: and mid photo, I bet you there's plenty where you
- 10:31Speaker 1: can see me taking it out because I'm like second
- 10:33Speaker 1: guessing it, thinking it's weird. It's the things we do
- 10:35Speaker 1: inside of head that's so relatable because we get photos
- 10:37Speaker 1: with girls a lot of the time, and like I
- 10:39Speaker 1: don't want to touch them, Like I don't know, I
- 10:42Speaker 1: always end up touching you. I go, yeah, you're only
- 10:46Speaker 1: comfortable touching me, Like because they stand in the middle
- 10:48Speaker 1: of us and it's small ladies in the middle of it.
- 10:50Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't know, feel comfortable touch That's so funny.
- 10:55Speaker 1: We both do it will go because like when you
- 10:57Speaker 1: take a photo, it's kind of like you go hand
- 10:59Speaker 1: around the back. We both hover. We don't touch the girl.
- 11:03Speaker 1: We just like make it look like our haird like
- 11:05Speaker 1: we put our shoulder behind them. We hover and don't
- 11:07Speaker 1: touch them. Yeah, I'm like, I feel like that's the
- 11:09Speaker 1: right thing. I think, the respectful Yeah yeah, this one
- 11:13Speaker 1: just put my hand on Jack's.
- 11:14Speaker 3: But things men do unironically, they say, let's go, let's go.
- 11:28Speaker 1: I haven't texted we let's go. I'm so guilty of
- 11:32Speaker 1: this one. You know how text can have like a
- 11:33Speaker 1: little emotion when they send it, like even loud lah
- 11:36Speaker 1: lah la la, or like make a little animation with it.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Let's go should have its own animation. It should go
- 11:41Speaker 1: and it should shake or something. Yeah, it should shake
- 11:43Speaker 1: the phone because it's like this idea. Yeah, like that's
- 11:46Speaker 1: how I'm saying. You know you can make your own emojis?
- 11:48Speaker 1: Really yeah, I didn't know that. Kim Kardashian did it
- 11:50Speaker 1: and ship we can make our own emojis that some
- 11:52Speaker 1: relatables ones. That's good idea. Things men do unironically jump
- 11:57Speaker 1: up and down in a club guilty Guilty as charge?
- 12:03Speaker 1: Have you seen that trend going around? It's like videoing
- 12:06Speaker 1: their mom how you dance in the eighties? Yeah, what
- 12:09Speaker 1: was what's with the dance? Yeah, but imagine they did that,
- 12:12Speaker 1: our kids do that in twenty years, it's just gonna
- 12:13Speaker 1: be us jumping on the club. So true, so true. Ah.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Things men do unironically they smolder in the mirror when
- 12:29Speaker 1: fixing their hair. Smolder, meaning so like when we're fixing
- 12:32Speaker 1: their hair with like I'm trying to look good at that. Fuck. Okay,
- 12:40Speaker 1: I got one more. Things men do unironically fall into
- 12:44Speaker 1: their girl best friends of vagina, not guilty, not guilty,
- 12:56Speaker 1: not guilty, but the majority of the population that was
- 13:00Speaker 1: good things men do one ironically, Kevin with some peat
- 13:04Speaker 1: just start that's funny, okay, guys. Up next, we've got
- 13:16Speaker 1: we've got a confession session. We've got a caller coming
- 13:19Speaker 1: in with a when you've got to go, you've got
- 13:21Speaker 1: to go situation. This one's funny. They're getting popular and
- 13:25Speaker 1: we're discovering females maybe a little bit worse than guys
- 13:29Speaker 1: in this situation. We're finding out it's very, very normal,
- 13:33Speaker 1: and everyone does it. I think it is, and I
- 13:35Speaker 1: you know what I think, PSA to all the governments
- 13:38Speaker 1: out there, we need more. Just put some urinals just
- 13:41Speaker 1: every twenty meters, just everywhere, public toilet, something like that,
- 13:45Speaker 1: public toilet. Worst thing in the world is driving busting
- 13:48Speaker 1: and just going I don't even know where or even
- 13:50Speaker 1: how about just put some signs up for this a
- 13:52Speaker 1: public toilet three minutes this way or like ten minutes
- 13:54Speaker 1: this way. Just let us know. And I don't want
- 13:56Speaker 1: to give too much away, but maybe we should start
- 13:58Speaker 1: putting some shovels with us taking some shovels away. That's
- 14:01Speaker 1: when we need to start a little retractable troubles. Please
- 14:07Speaker 1: enjoy confession session. Hello, good morning, Welcome to confession Sessions.
- 14:13Speaker 1: How are you good? How are you doing? Really good?
- 14:17Speaker 1: First things? First, would you like to be anonymous? Yees? Anonymous?
- 14:21Speaker 1: It is. It's I'm Jake here with Addie. Hello. Thanks
- 14:24Speaker 1: for coming on, Thank you.
- 14:26Speaker 2: For having me.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Of course. So the prompt is when you've got to go,
- 14:31Speaker 1: you got to go, and apparently you've got a good
- 14:33Speaker 1: story for us.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Oh god, I don't know if I would call it good.
- 14:36Speaker 2: It's very embarrassing, but it is pretty good.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Take it away. You got to think of a name
- 14:42Speaker 1: for Yeah, you're out of it. Eh, it's early. What
- 14:47Speaker 1: does she sound like? What do you sound? I'm thinking,
- 14:48Speaker 1: and she's got when you gotta go, you gotta go.
- 14:50Speaker 1: I'm thinking like jemimah, how old are you?
- 14:59Speaker 2: I love it? I love it?
- 15:00Speaker 1: Oh wonderful. Alright, Jemima, take it away?
- 15:04Speaker 2: Okay. So on a beautiful Saturday in April, my friends
- 15:09Speaker 2: and I got some goosie for lunch.
- 15:13Speaker 3: Good.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Yeah, no, it's it's perfect. We had some goosies chicken.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Chicken didn't taste too good though, so big questionable. But
- 15:24Speaker 2: I was like, oh, look, I'm pretty anxious for chickens,
- 15:27Speaker 2: so it's probably just like me being me. And then anyway,
- 15:31Speaker 2: later that night, we were praying at my house because
- 15:33Speaker 2: we're going to go out, and I was like, oh,
- 15:37Speaker 2: I'm not not feeling one hundred percent, you know, not
- 15:40Speaker 2: feeling not feeling the vibes. But my friend seemed fine,
- 15:44Speaker 2: and I was like, oh, look, it's fine. Probably just
- 15:46Speaker 2: the alcohol hitting me. I'm a bit of an anxious
- 15:48Speaker 2: girl who knows yeah. And then we end up going
- 15:53Speaker 2: out and we're dancing and we're having fun and then
- 15:57Speaker 2: lo by tea pain comes on no because I'm like
- 16:08Speaker 2: I looked at my friend and I was like, oh god.
- 16:10Speaker 2: I was like, if we start getting low, something bad
- 16:14Speaker 2: is about to happen because I'm not feeling good. I'm
- 16:18Speaker 2: looking I've got the chills, I'm shaking in my boots.
- 16:21Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm like and I look at her and
- 16:24Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, she looks very sweaty, like like like
- 16:28Speaker 2: way too sweaty to be like dancing sweaty. And I
- 16:31Speaker 2: was like, oh, I'm not. I'm not the only one
- 16:33Speaker 2: who feel a little bit like I might ship my
- 16:35Speaker 2: pants right there.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Is that what you're for thought you might be sick.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Well, I I thought. I was like, I was like
- 16:42Speaker 2: something to either coming out the top half or the
- 16:45Speaker 2: bottom half. I didn't know what we were going to
- 16:47Speaker 2: happen if I think it's just got worse progressively. And
- 16:53Speaker 2: I was like, oh no. But I looked at her
- 16:56Speaker 2: and I was like, I gave it the eyes. I
- 16:57Speaker 2: was like, we've got to go, like, we've got to
- 16:59Speaker 2: We've got to get to a toilet, like yo.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Know.
- 17:03Speaker 2: I didn't want to say a thing because we were
- 17:04Speaker 2: there thing with some guys and as I'm like telling
- 17:06Speaker 2: her we got to go there like oh my god,
- 17:08Speaker 2: everyn't get long, and I'm like no, I'm like I'm
- 17:12Speaker 2: gonna just like crying. Let me go, and they're holding
- 17:15Speaker 2: my arm and I'm like not now. I was like, oh,
- 17:19Speaker 2: that's my name. So I was like we I just
- 17:27Speaker 2: I kind of just said out lad. I was like,
- 17:28Speaker 2: I'm sorry, something's going to come out. I've got to go,
- 17:31Speaker 2: and I grabbed my friend and we start sprinting. We're
- 17:34Speaker 2: sprinting through the club. The toilets are so long, and
- 17:37Speaker 2: I thought, oh, look if I go and do what
- 17:40Speaker 2: I need to do in there. That's not the place
- 17:42Speaker 2: to be. There's girls taking selfies, they're doing their makeup
- 17:45Speaker 2: like that all ruined their night, not only mine. And
- 17:49Speaker 2: so I was like, oh, there's a Macis straight across
- 17:51Speaker 2: the street. Let's go. Apparently Macis shot their toilet after midnight,
- 17:58Speaker 2: and I was like, oh god, oh god. I was like,
- 18:02Speaker 2: I've got about approximately two minutes otherwise it's gonna you know,
- 18:06Speaker 2: I'm gonna ship my pants.
- 18:07Speaker 1: You've done well, thank you.
- 18:12Speaker 2: And then I saw a park. I'm really drunk, by
- 18:16Speaker 2: the way, so this is not me sober talking. I
- 18:18Speaker 2: saw this big park and I looked at my friend
- 18:20Speaker 2: and I was like, I'm sorry, We've got to go.
- 18:22Speaker 2: It's like, we've got to do what we've got to
- 18:23Speaker 2: do right now. This this is the sacrifice I'm willing
- 18:26Speaker 2: to make. And we run to the park and it
- 18:29Speaker 2: had been raining the night before, so the soil was
- 18:31Speaker 2: a bit wet, and so I started digging too whole
- 18:38Speaker 2: in the park and I said, I said to my friend.
- 18:42Speaker 2: I was like, you've just got to do it. I
- 18:43Speaker 2: was just like, it's going to come out of us anyway.
- 18:49Speaker 2: So we shat in too.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Whole, right next to each other.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we were holding hands the whole time. Was
- 18:55Speaker 2: the girlhood. I love the experience. And then we was
- 19:00Speaker 2: like there was a there was a few leaves around,
- 19:01Speaker 2: you know. We did a little white and then we
- 19:04Speaker 2: got up and you think, you think that you just
- 19:06Speaker 2: want to go home corns bed. Yeah, we actually went
- 19:08Speaker 2: straight back to the class.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Did that we did?
- 19:14Speaker 2: I I want to make it really clear that as
- 19:18Speaker 2: soon as I got home, I did shower violently like
- 19:22Speaker 2: I've never I think I was in the shower for
- 19:24Speaker 2: two hours. So discussing that, that's the lowest of lows
- 19:30Speaker 2: to me, I'm pretty sure.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's pretty low. What did you dig both holes?
- 19:35Speaker 1: What was your friend thinking or saying?
- 19:37Speaker 2: Well, no, she had she had clearly nails, and I
- 19:40Speaker 2: was like, I was like, let me do the hard work.
- 19:47Speaker 1: We're finding out the girls also do this quite often. Well,
- 19:51Speaker 1: she got stitched up because the girl's toilet they've packed
- 19:54Speaker 1: all the time at clubs, but a boy's toilet, there's
- 19:56Speaker 1: no line. Just gone into the boys. Yeah, we would.
- 19:59Speaker 2: I actually I did think about it, I really really did.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I was like, do I just pop in? Like do
- 20:03Speaker 2: I just go in? Like you know? Like but then
- 20:05Speaker 2: I thought no, oh, Jemima, Oh my god, I'm so sorry.
- 20:12Speaker 2: I was like, I'm going to have a bit more dignity.
- 20:13Speaker 2: I'm just I'm just gonna go to MACI.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Have more dignity. And then you did it in a
- 20:17Speaker 1: hole in a park.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Okay, okay, I'm sorry. Tr really thought that that was better.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Did you fill the hole over with dirt when you finished? Oh?
- 20:31Speaker 2: I didn't see that far ahead.
- 20:33Speaker 1: It's not your problem anymore. Your problem. Your problem was
- 20:35Speaker 1: just getting it out of you, and this dog just
- 20:39Speaker 1: dug a hole. O man, it's funny because you can
- 20:42Speaker 1: always it. Definitely. So the chicken wasn't good. You think
- 20:46Speaker 1: I reckon it was.
- 20:48Speaker 2: I reckon it was a chicken. I couldn't think of
- 20:49Speaker 2: anything else I'd eaten that made me feel.
- 20:51Speaker 1: I don't know if we can post this episode with
- 20:53Speaker 1: good saying that.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Because I've eaten it about five times after, like I
- 21:00Speaker 2: I won't give up Goodman. Ever, No, no, no, I
- 21:03Speaker 2: think it was just the one place that I went
- 21:05Speaker 2: to and I was like, oh, that's.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Well, that's that's unfortunate. Yeah, it is unfortunate, but when
- 21:12Speaker 1: you've got to go, you got to go. Good point, Well,
- 21:15Speaker 1: thank you very much for coming on, Jemima, thank you
- 21:18Speaker 1: for having me. So you have a good day. You
- 21:22Speaker 1: two all right, that's that was a good one. That
- 21:25Speaker 1: was funny. Jemima came to play. Yeah, she came in
- 21:28Speaker 1: with some heat. Just be fortunate about the chicken. It
- 21:31Speaker 1: is very unfortunate about the chicken. I'm just thinking about
- 21:33Speaker 1: how it would suck for girls because every when you
- 21:36Speaker 1: go out it's a popular place. The girl's toilets are
- 21:38Speaker 1: always overflowing. Yeah, and like she was saying, girls go
- 21:41Speaker 1: in there to like take their selfies for the for
- 21:45Speaker 1: the Instagram that they're going to pick their makeup. It's
- 21:47Speaker 1: like crazy, like dudes are in and out and there's
- 21:50Speaker 1: never a line. So it's just of urinals because we
- 21:52Speaker 1: don't have to like they take your pants down fully through.
- 21:55Speaker 3: They're in and out.
- 21:55Speaker 1: There's never a line. But also, let me tell you
- 21:57Speaker 1: if I'm if I was ever at a club and
- 21:58Speaker 1: I needed to go and I was like, oh, this
- 22:02Speaker 1: is going to stink out the toilets. I'm stinking out
- 22:04Speaker 1: the Yeah, no guy gives a ship. No guy cares
- 22:08Speaker 1: at all about making the toilets for like shit, because
- 22:11Speaker 1: quite often you could even get out you can even
- 22:13Speaker 1: just make a joke like guys don't get embarrassed about that,
- 22:15Speaker 1: Oh not at all. You could give any guy as
- 22:17Speaker 1: much as you want, like did you do this? Be
- 22:19Speaker 1: like that was me. You could run in there and
- 22:20Speaker 1: being like about the ship in my pants. Literally, yeah,
- 22:22Speaker 1: it wouldn't even anyone. Quite often, like guy's toilets are gross.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Quite often there's just fucking ship everywhere anyway, disgusting, And
- 22:31Speaker 1: props to her for digging a hole, like she tried
- 22:33Speaker 1: to have some decency, Like I don't. I would have
- 22:36Speaker 1: just popped the squad if I was in that situation,
- 22:37Speaker 1: I would have been like fucking Macais and done it
- 22:39Speaker 1: on their doors. We told the story of the Ivy.
- 22:44Speaker 1: I one of my mates did it at the back
- 22:45Speaker 1: door of the ivy. Wait that I think he came
- 22:48Speaker 1: on and told me yeah, because he didn't. So many
- 22:50Speaker 1: of these now, but that was funny. That was funny.
- 22:55Speaker 1: If you want to submit any confession sessions, go to
- 22:57Speaker 1: the Linking Out bio. Scroll the bottom says confession session
- 23:00Speaker 1: to take you to a Google dot. Yeah, and that's it.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Let us know and we'll hit you up if we
- 23:03Speaker 1: think it's good. Okay, guys, Dilemma's time. This one's actually
- 23:13Speaker 1: an m I the Asshole, which we love. If you
- 23:15Speaker 1: want to send in a dilemma or an m I
- 23:17Speaker 1: the Asshole, they can both be on the same one
- 23:18Speaker 1: Instagram link in bio scroll down dilemmas. Remember when you
- 23:22Speaker 1: went to that phase of like begging for theole. I
- 23:26Speaker 1: was like, give us some of the assholes, and everyone
- 23:28Speaker 1: was like, pro I don't want to be the asshole. Okay,
- 23:30Speaker 1: am I the asshole? I dated my ex for nearly
- 23:34Speaker 1: three years. Yes, yeah, that's it, moved away from home
- 23:43Speaker 1: with him, made future plans with him, etc. Earlier this year,
- 23:47Speaker 1: I was just feeling so empty and sad in the
- 23:50Speaker 1: relationship and wanted some independence for a while. He's the
- 23:53Speaker 1: best person I know, but I knew it was just
- 23:55Speaker 1: damaging our relationship to force something I didn't want any longer.
- 24:00Speaker 1: I expressed this and he was devastated, ultimately in brackets.
- 24:06Speaker 1: I know this was wrong, but to make myself feel
- 24:09Speaker 1: less guilty, I told him it was just for a while,
- 24:12Speaker 1: that I still loved him and would be keen to
- 24:15Speaker 1: get back together once I had figured out some personal stuff.
- 24:18Speaker 1: At the time, I genuinely felt this was true, but
- 24:21Speaker 1: slowly found myself loving life in being independent, and by independent,
- 24:26Speaker 1: I don't mean sleeping around. I just mean the little
- 24:29Speaker 1: things like not having to tell someone where I am
- 24:31Speaker 1: at all times and sleeping in a bed by myself. Anyway,
- 24:35Speaker 1: we have reconnected a couple times, and each time I
- 24:38Speaker 1: have had to rebreak up with him, which was so
- 24:42Speaker 1: painful for both of us, especially for him, and we
- 24:45Speaker 1: ended things okay, but he said he doesn't want to
- 24:49Speaker 1: go through the pain anymore and that no communication was best.
- 24:53Speaker 1: He doesn't even like my Instagram photos anymore. Nearly a
- 24:56Speaker 1: year on from our initial breakup, I finally feel in
- 25:00Speaker 1: a healthy spot to reignite our relationship, and I would
- 25:04Speaker 1: love him back in my life. I know beggars can't
- 25:07Speaker 1: be choosers, and I accept that he has finally made
- 25:10Speaker 1: progress in moving on, But would reaching out be so
- 25:13Speaker 1: bad or do the risks outweigh the benefits, especially when
- 25:17Speaker 1: I don't exactly know if I miss him just being
- 25:20Speaker 1: in my life generally, or if I miss being with him.
- 25:24Speaker 1: I appreciate any input. Boys love the party. I don't
- 25:29Speaker 1: like that, no, me neither, and I would like that
- 25:32Speaker 1: We have to be honest with our baddies. Yeah, apologies,
- 25:36Speaker 1: you asked us to be honest, but you're an asshole.
- 25:38Speaker 1: That is an asshole move, especially that last bitch. She
- 25:41Speaker 1: said she doesn't even know if she likes him or
- 25:44Speaker 1: likes just being around someone. Yeah, like he's finally moved
- 25:49Speaker 1: on or moving on no contact you, you know, and
- 25:53Speaker 1: so now you're kind of like, oh shit, he's doing good,
- 25:57Speaker 1: and so now you want him. Yeah, and he I
- 26:01Speaker 1: don't like that thing. Like, I'm proud of you for
- 26:03Speaker 1: working on yourself lahlahlahlah, but like, don't come crawling back
- 26:07Speaker 1: once a good is just not there waiting for you.
- 26:10Speaker 1: I think the asshole part is the look. Yes, it's
- 26:14Speaker 1: great that you recognize you had to leave him, Yeah,
- 26:17Speaker 1: but the asshole part was definitely, which she kind of admitted,
- 26:20Speaker 1: is that you said, oh it's not forever. Yeah, that's
- 26:23Speaker 1: it just for now. Take away from this dilemma and
- 26:26Speaker 1: this podcast is if you ever break up with someone
- 26:29Speaker 1: and you did really really love them or like them,
- 26:32Speaker 1: don't tell them you're still in love with them or
- 26:34Speaker 1: give them a chance that you're ever going to get
- 26:36Speaker 1: back with them, just so you feel less guilty. Yeah,
- 26:38Speaker 1: because getting over someone is So the initial conversation might
- 26:42Speaker 1: be harder, but getting over someone knowing that they don't
- 26:45Speaker 1: they're not in love with you anymore makes it so
- 26:47Speaker 1: much easier. Don't give him hope. Hope is the worst
- 26:49Speaker 1: thing when getting over a breakup, one hundred percent. I
- 26:52Speaker 1: like what you said how it's like getting over someone.
- 26:55Speaker 1: So the initial conversation, if you add in, oh, it's
- 26:59Speaker 1: not for ours, you know, I still love you, giving
- 27:02Speaker 1: them that hope, it's like you need to be you
- 27:04Speaker 1: need to really hurt them more in the moment, and see,
- 27:06Speaker 1: I've fallen out of love with you, like bang bang bang,
- 27:10Speaker 1: rip the band aid off. They're going to be more
- 27:12Speaker 1: hurt for the short term, yes, but heal quicker because
- 27:15Speaker 1: they know there's no chance one. And I think what
- 27:17Speaker 1: you've done is just super selfish. Yeah, it's very selfish
- 27:22Speaker 1: what you should put yourself first. And what you did
- 27:24Speaker 1: breaking up initially is fine. The way you did it's toxic,
- 27:27Speaker 1: asshole material. Yep. And then don't get back of him,
- 27:31Speaker 1: Please don't contact him again. Yeah, and it's yeah, nah,
- 27:35Speaker 1: don't do it. You odd to him because you've already
- 27:37Speaker 1: sucked him over too much. Yeah, it's just it's thinking
- 27:40Speaker 1: where inside the boy's head, Like you go through a breakup,
- 27:42Speaker 1: you get over someone, and then there's still there might
- 27:44Speaker 1: be a little inkling and this like fuck she was,
- 27:46Speaker 1: she was as sick as bitch, like I really liked it.
- 27:47Speaker 1: And then she pops up in his phone one day
- 27:49Speaker 1: and he gets so excited he will too, and he'll
- 27:52Speaker 1: even yeah, he wouldn't be fully over you yet. No,
- 27:55Speaker 1: And who's to say she in a year down the
- 27:57Speaker 1: track thinks, oh, I just like the idea of him
- 27:59Speaker 1: wasn't actually him. What I'm saying is like, yeah, who's
- 28:01Speaker 1: to say that if you get back together with him,
- 28:02Speaker 1: the first two months are going to be great, but
- 28:03Speaker 1: then you just randomly get this feeling again of like no,
- 28:06Speaker 1: I feel swampty inside? Why would yeah? And like back
- 28:08Speaker 1: of your head, like breaking one person's heart once is
- 28:12Speaker 1: hard enough, like don't go through it again. Don't break
- 28:14Speaker 1: the same person's heart twice. I've always had the theory
- 28:16Speaker 1: that if you break up with someone, you broke up
- 28:19Speaker 1: for a reason like that happened, Yeah, I don't think
- 28:22Speaker 1: you should really go back on it. And then like
- 28:25Speaker 1: that was happening for a reason. Yeah, so you think,
- 28:28Speaker 1: do you think men find it harder to get over
- 28:30Speaker 1: a woman, or a woman to find it find it
- 28:32Speaker 1: harder to get over a man. Or do you think
- 28:34Speaker 1: it's just like a personal what doesn't matter. I think
- 28:37Speaker 1: it's personal, But I think it's harder for men. Yeah,
- 28:42Speaker 1: I do think it's harder for men, just because I
- 28:47Speaker 1: do think it's just harder for men. I can't explain why, yeah,
- 28:51Speaker 1: just seeing I don't know. I can't. We don't have
- 28:54Speaker 1: a lot of female friends, and I haven't seen him
- 28:55Speaker 1: go through breakups in the same extent. True, but I've
- 28:57Speaker 1: seen how men go through broke out breakups. Yeah. I
- 29:01Speaker 1: think if a man actually, if the man genuinely loves you,
- 29:05Speaker 1: then he finds it harder. I feel like it's harder
- 29:08Speaker 1: for him to fall out of love than it is
- 29:10Speaker 1: for a female. Yeah. It's also I've got to word
- 29:13Speaker 1: this correctly. When the breakup happens initially, it's easier for
- 29:18Speaker 1: a girl to get attention again, well, if she wants to,
- 29:23Speaker 1: or even if you wanted to distract yourself. It's easier
- 29:26Speaker 1: just to go out as a girl and get an
- 29:28Speaker 1: attention if that's what you want. But for a man
- 29:30Speaker 1: to go out and get noticed and get his mind
- 29:32Speaker 1: off this relationship. Yeah, it's way, way, way harder. It
- 29:36Speaker 1: is harder. We have had a dilemma where a girl
- 29:39Speaker 1: was five years on from a relationship it still couldn't
- 29:42Speaker 1: get over him so personalized and how much you loved
- 29:45Speaker 1: them and how like how it happened. Well, yeah, like
- 29:47Speaker 1: in that situation, he just probably didn't love her as
- 29:50Speaker 1: much as you know, or I saw another thing. What
- 29:52Speaker 1: do you think? Okay, apparently this is apparently like I
- 29:55Speaker 1: don't know if it's proven or not. I just saw
- 29:56Speaker 1: a thing where it says for a relationship to work best,
- 30:00Speaker 1: the guy needs to love the girl more than the
- 30:03Speaker 1: girl loves the guy. What's your take on that? Is that?
- 30:05Speaker 1: Is there any explanation? I don't know if there's explanation,
- 30:08Speaker 1: but I just saw It's just one of those dumb
- 30:10Speaker 1: things I saw. It was probably it's like i'd say,
- 30:13Speaker 1: there's no I think it's just a hot take. Okay,
- 30:15Speaker 1: but what do you think the girl I asked to
- 30:18Speaker 1: love the girlfriend more? Why. I'm a big believer in
- 30:22Speaker 1: equally Yeah, like you both love each other. I don't
- 30:25Speaker 1: think when you're in a relationship even one can love
- 30:27Speaker 1: each other more than if they love each other like
- 30:29Speaker 1: love each other. I agree with you, and I saw it.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Here's here's something that I could end it on. Yeah,
- 30:33Speaker 1: and it's if you're if this is making a question anything.
- 30:37Speaker 1: I saw a Reddit thread and it was people have
- 30:39Speaker 1: had a long marriage, what's the best advice? And someone
- 30:42Speaker 1: said it's it's not fifty to fifty, it's sixty forty,
- 30:46Speaker 1: but both of you should be trying to give sixty.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Oh oh, I get it. Okay, that is a good
- 30:52Speaker 1: little theory. Yeah, I like that a lot more. Yeah,
- 30:55Speaker 1: so you're not fifty to fifty. Mm, it's even more.
- 30:58Speaker 1: You could say, I like get more that you're just
- 31:01Speaker 1: going off it is. It's one hundred, one hundred percent
- 31:03Speaker 1: each because you're both individual, but you're both trying to
- 31:04Speaker 1: give one hundred and ten percentage. Yeah, yeah, yeah, just
- 31:06Speaker 1: like you're so. Yeah, I think I think it's a
- 31:08Speaker 1: great way to think about it. It is one hund percent.
- 31:10Speaker 1: And I don't think that year. I don't like that one.
- 31:12Speaker 1: I think you should be when you're in when you're
- 31:14Speaker 1: in love with someone, you can't love anyone anymore. No,
- 31:16Speaker 1: I don't think the girl can love more than the guy.
- 31:18Speaker 1: The girl the guy can love more than the girl.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Do you find that? Do you? Do you ever find
- 31:21Speaker 1: You'll be sitting there thinking like, oh I love my
- 31:22Speaker 1: girlfriend more than I loved her a week ago though
- 31:24Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, sometimes I miss her more than I
- 31:27Speaker 1: miss her other days. Oh there's there's loves. Life gets
- 31:30Speaker 1: in the way, and then sometimes like life potty is
- 31:32Speaker 1: going to the life is just like very in the
- 31:34Speaker 1: moment here and I get a little bit distracted, and
- 31:36Speaker 1: then I'm hanging out with her, I'm like, fuck, I
- 31:37Speaker 1: love her, yeah yeah, yeah, And then there's moments where
- 31:39Speaker 1: I'm not thinking like fuck I love her right there
- 31:41Speaker 1: and there. Yeah. True, So its just like just give
- 31:43Speaker 1: me a breathe. Yeah, there's always that underlying love. I'm
- 31:47Speaker 1: definitely like the pinnacle of I'm the definition of like,
- 31:52Speaker 1: I feel like I definitely get more feelings when I
- 31:55Speaker 1: so I hang out with her, and then I get
