- 0:01[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 0:02[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 0:02[SPEAKER_00]: We're going on your birthday.
- 0:03[SPEAKER_00]: That's crazy.
- 0:03[SPEAKER_01]: Come on man.
- 0:04[SPEAKER_01]: What do we do?
- 0:05[SPEAKER_01]: I really enjoy I really enjoy doing stuff that I haven't done before Well, I don't like traveling I'm not like You don't you don't like travel I'm not like jumping off of you know like you know those low blue holes or stuff like that not riding on camels and stuff like that But in terms of content this I like this
- 0:27[SPEAKER_00]: So like I like travel out.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_01]: I had to like like reframe it because somebody might be watching like they use that Don't really try.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_01]: I don't like new experiences like that.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_01]: I like accomplishing stuff.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: So I appreciate you coming, bro.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_01]: You have been You're a strong voice in the community
- 0:47[SPEAKER_00]: Man, I'm working like a bail, but I appreciate you.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: You are strong voice in the community.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_01]: And we're supposed to act all this purpose on.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_01]: We're supposed to have the conversation about the different types of entrepreneurship.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: And I think from my perspective, two different types.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_01]: There are the
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: me.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: I am a gritty, hustler.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just trying to get it out here.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_01]: I build a brand.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: I create some content.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_01]: I have some sort of coaching things in that nature.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_01]: I do do real estate stuff like that, but after a text show me that there was another side of entrepreneurship where they don't think
- 1:37[SPEAKER_01]: There's a different type of structure, there's a different type of way things are done, and I think sometimes I could use more structure, the other side could use more scrappiness of let's just go get it, and I think you have a good balance of both.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_01]: So what is your perspective on this conversation?
- 1:57[SPEAKER_00]: Look, man, I think first look, we are all trying to do the best that we can, every single day to make happen.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_00]: The thing that I'm passionate about is not trying to like police how you're getting there.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_00]: One I want to encourage everybody to like just get on the path.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_00]: There's so many people that like watching this conversation.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_00]: Have an idea.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_00]: Have had that idea.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: Go have that idea tomorrow.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_00]: Like get on the path where I get frustrated is when people discourage that activity in my mind Right when there's when we see somebody that Really wants to make something happen and we start to talk to them in a way that Doesn't encourage them to just move
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: I think a lot of the stuff on the internet is not real life is fake and it's positioned in a way to make people feel like People are further ahead or have learned something that you haven't learned.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: They're hard skills to learn all the time Like You can learn how to read a piano.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_00]: You can learn the best way to approach leadership situations in business
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: Right, but at the end of the day, we all woke up this morning, put our pants on one leg at a time, and they're trying to figure it out.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: And I wish that we talked more to each other like that, then in this like, oh, no, I've figured out the key to life.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like, no, we're all right now.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: We're all still trying to figure it out.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_00]: And it's okay to say that, right?
- 3:22[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I've been in business now 10 straight years.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_00]: I've learned a lot, everybody's money.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_00]: We've done all the, we've hit a lot of the boxes, but I'm still trying to figure it out.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't, there's no shame in me saying that to you.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_00]: So that to me is the conversation, the less of like, is there one path of entrepreneurship or another?
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: Like, there's, there's, there's your path and we should all be encouraging you to try to figure out how to make the best out of it.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_01]: I think so, okay, so what do you think about the industry of someone that's accomplished something and they're now teaching other people how to do the thing that they've learned how to do?
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: I guess it may be a core seller coaching community, things that I major.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_00]: So the important thing that you just said is that someone that's accomplished something
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: If that is a true statement, so I have a lot of great, right?
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: I have a lot of great.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: I went to class every single day with professors that had accomplished something and were there being paid to teach me how to be a lawyer.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_00]: Fair game.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_00]: If you were doing that outside of the structure of a university, go ahead, please teach people where I have a problem is when that isn't the truth.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_00]: all of the things that you are teaching people about.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_00]: And there's like, we can't be in a time period where that's a controversial statement.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: Having actually, like, I'm sorry, like having actually done the thing that you're teaching people about, like that's not, that's not an, that's not an outrageous thing to want to be present in the room.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_00]: I want you to be really actually good at what you're discussing and what I'm paying for.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: If you haven't done that, again, what's, there's no problem with me saying,
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: Well, since I were actually in the same position trying to figure it out and less of like your your your some sort of Jedi master here like you you haven't done that work it and that's okay So now sometimes people tag me with being against coaching.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not like Life is learning your against coaching.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm not I'm against I'm against people who don't who don't know what they're talking about coaching people
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: who also don't know what they're talking about.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: They're like, I'm like, and again, that scene is controversial, but I don't get how it is at all.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, genuine, I'm confused each time, if you're teaching real estate,
- 5:53[SPEAKER_00]: You should have had real estate transactions that are verifiable, especially real estate, that we can actually go and see as things that happen.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: Before you start to teach me about the fundamentals of real estate, like you should go master the fundamentals and then once that's done, come back and talk about it.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like I feel like.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: We have a lot of people that don't do that, though that's the problem.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: Got a lot of people to eat.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: We've got a lot of blind lead in the blind.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of people who actually have
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: that's true.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: I think the biggest flag was the video that came out and I'm so glad we get a chance to add this conversation because I think it was kind of misunderstood on both sides and I don't want it to be about that.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_01]: I want to be about a conversation in general.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: that people aren't making that much money.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: And we were, of course, not everybody, for sure.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: We were in Houston and I was like, Grrr, I, that kind of money's being made for sure.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't fighting that.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't fighting that type of money was being made.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm fighting the idea, well, two things.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: Some people that are trying to flash a certain lifestyle, aren't living that lifestyle in real life.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_00]: Again, that's not some breaking news either.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 7:26[SPEAKER_00]: Like we have seen that throughout our lives, there are people that wrap and talk about their lives and ways that don't actually match the reality of their existence.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_00]: All I was trying to draw into conversation was that if you find yourself on the internet looking like, wow, I just feel like everyone's so far ahead of me, I just want to give you some math about where people actually are.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_00]: So I think one of the stats I shared in that video is that 45% of black folks in Atlanta have to link with that.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_00]: That means statistically speaking,
- 8:01[SPEAKER_00]: half the black people that you're around have not not dead delinquent debt they owe their behind on some debt right now that is a real number the vast majority people in america don't make a hundred thousand dollars right it's actually a very small percentage of people and i'm not i don't want that to be the case that is the case of those of the numbers right but when you scroll on the internet
- 8:23[SPEAKER_00]: Right, the vast majority of businesses don't see their first birthday.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_00]: They don't see their fifth birthday.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_00]: There's a really small number.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_00]: 96% of businesses don't employ anybody if it's a black-owned company.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're on the internet, it feels like 100% of everyone that you're viewing makes $100 million a year and is living their best life forever.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just telling you mathematically, that's not what's happening.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_00]: And so are there some people mathematically that that's true for?
- 8:51[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_00]: But if you just, again, play the numbers out, there's no way that all of the people that we're seeing on the internet are making the type of money that they're making.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: That's all I'm talking about.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's 100% true.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: You're absolutely right.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: And I think the challenge is it's hard to decipher who's who.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_01]: Because you and I both know that when we see it, we see, oh, somebody posted that, I made $100,000 on Shopify.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_01]: When you and I see that, it's like, well, how much do you get to keep?
- 9:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_01]: How much did you spend an edge to get?
- 9:28[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_01]: You and I see that.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_00]: I look at costs of goods sold.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_00]: How much did it actually take you?
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I, like, I understand the fundamentals of business.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: Look there's not that many new things under the sun and I'm not I'm not here trying to advocate for counting people's pockets But like you can guess the unit economics of a lot of businesses that you coming in touch with right so if you're looking at a business that Doesn't have wide distribution or is a brick and mortar?
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'll give you scenario.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_00]: All right, so we have a business that's it's a hundred square feet that just told you that they're doing 10 million dollars a year out of that hundred square feet well
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: They're doing more than the best retailers in the world.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's not controversial to say you're making more per square foot than Apple.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: Come on, right?
- 10:22[SPEAKER_00]: Like if we can go on your website and see that you sell things for
- 10:26[SPEAKER_00]: nine dollars in nine cents will then like you would need millions and millions and millions of subscribers to make the type of money that you're talking about and maybe look some folks will say well they make money otherwise what are those ways right like you you would you would you would be able to see this stuff right like making making a lot of money and hiding it is actually a really really hard thing to do
- 10:48[SPEAKER_00]: When you're making that type of money, to the point where people just, like it's like a movie, like I just have no idea where this could be coming from Yes people do, right?
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: Like they're able to pretty quickly, next week's has X number of millions of people that pay them $17 a month Right, that's how when they say they want to go spend $90 billion to go buy another company, we can understand how that math pencils
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's all, we just have a lot of people who are fake in the math.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_00]: That's all, like, and I don't say that because it's fun to say it, but if we're going to get to a place that have a real conversation inside of the community to actually get people to those numbers.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: You have to acknowledge where we are and line to one another about where we are right now doesn't help get us get there.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_01]: So like that's my, again, that's why I think the only issue with the video you made, there were actual, there's nothing wrong with anything to just said, but because it was based off of people.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's where I was like, man, I wish he wouldn't have done that and then they come back and you and I'm like, dang, I can see why they did that because it seems like in attack on them and I'm like, this isn't the best way to build a community period.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so look, so first I stand on anything that I've ever said.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_00]: I, I, I stand on.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_00]: I, like I said today, I haven't said anything controversial.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking about math.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_02]: For sure.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_00]: In any, in this video you're talking about, I didn't say anything controversial.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_00]: I was talking about math.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_01]: I know, but, but, but like, it's, it's simple with the people, because there's a person's face.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_01]: That was the only, that was, I, I didn't agree with, I didn't disagree with anything you said.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_01]: But I think that's what, and I don't have a dog in the fight, right?
- 12:28[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, I don't me either, I care about, I care about collectively us.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_00]: Correct, but you'll notice, I didn't respond to anybody and we'll never respond to anyone.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm actually doing this, right?
- 12:39[SPEAKER_00]: Like, this isn't, I'm not, I don't go play play on the internet.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, I don't make cool little videos with, like, I don't, I'm trying to like disrespect anybody, but like,
- 12:48[SPEAKER_00]: That's not that's like I do this in real life.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_00]: I have a real family.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_00]: I've real employees like I don't play on the internet.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not a Some of these folks like that's their game.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_00]: They they make videos and
- 13:03[SPEAKER_00]: portray a lifestyle that like that's the right as a mayor because to go do right but like The day that you see me going back and forth.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: That's not ever gonna happen.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_00]: That's like like I'm not ever Just not gonna happen.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_00]: So I was sad to see them do that because What we should have been having a conversation about was how we actually get to a place where people fundamentally
- 13:26[SPEAKER_00]: or actually gaining the skills to actually move forward?
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: Rather than again, these play play conversations about who has the most money in and how they're like in these imaginary ways that they got it.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_01]: Not for that.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I do generally though, if I see something that I don't like or I don't really get,
- 13:46[SPEAKER_01]: And I think people need education on it.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_01]: I will make content around it.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_01]: Because typically, whatever idea I have is sparked from something, someplace, or on my, oh, now I need to educate.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, again, I don't have a dog and if I, it made me feel uncomfortable like dang, man, it's, we got some real housewives of Atlanta fight, internet and stuff.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, we didn't do it because it takes two to tenkel and I'm not, I'm not going to tenkel, right?
- 14:16[SPEAKER_00]: No, I talked about, I, I, I, I, I, I, I hear what you saying.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_01]: I, I don't, but it was in a store.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't, I don't think you thought like let me make a video about someone, but if you make a video of your talk man, I heard y'all go, how did man?
- 14:29[SPEAKER_00]: I was making a video about issues and if you got upset about that, right?
- 14:33[SPEAKER_00]: If I didn't say your name and all of a sudden, you're making videos about me talking about the fact that people don't make the type of money that they say that they're making, like, like, just on its face, that comment,
- 14:42[SPEAKER_00]: People aren't making this sort of money that they say they're making online.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_00]: If you hear me say that and come online and say, that's an offensive statement.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no, no, why would that be offensive?
- 14:53[SPEAKER_01]: I don't say it was an offensive.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_00]: No, you didn't respond to it because you didn't feel like I was talking to you.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 15:11[SPEAKER_01]: And I have a picture of you in the background.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_01]: And I didn't say you.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying all these communities are failing.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_01]: And they talk about this and that, but it's not really working.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_01]: You should enjoy.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't say your name, but that's also not what happened, right?
- 15:27[SPEAKER_00]: There was a video, I didn't think it can be dropped on there because in the abstract, this is good to say our ridiculous.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_00]: I really encourage people to go watch the actual video that I made.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to watch the video.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_00]: It should have sparking something else.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_00]: It should have sparking.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_00]: not with me talking about social issues, which is what I talk about regularly and about the economics, like what's happening in our community.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_00]: I am never, ever, ever going to apologize for having an authentic conversation, a quality conversation about real issues.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: Again, if you feel impacted by that, personally, when I did not actually, I did not give an individual critique
- 16:19[SPEAKER_00]: The math is, is that most people
- 16:21[SPEAKER_00]: that are playing that game online are not doing as well as what they're saying they're doing.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_00]: And like, and like, you don't have to take my opinion there, you're just like, this is a math equation.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_00]: Like, it's math, not that many people are doing as well as what they're saying they're doing.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_00]: And that's okay.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_00]: No, right.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_00]: That's like, I agree.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_00]: This is the last, this is the last I'll say.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_00]: The last part about this that is unsettling for me,
- 16:51[SPEAKER_00]: is that at a certain point in time, we have to stop being okay with people just saying and doing whatever to other people in our community.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_00]: And again, if that is upsetting to you, I question why, because if you're doing good business, like if you made a video about what...
- 17:06[SPEAKER_00]: I know the type of business that I run.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_00]: I would not feel inclined to respond to you at all.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_00]: I know what I do every single day.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_00]: I know the heart behind it, I know the intention behind it.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_00]: I know actually what happens every single day.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_00]: I would absolutely have, like it would be like, I'm sorry he feels that way, but I know what this actually is.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_00]: I have real people on my team.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_00]: I have real people that I serve every single day.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_00]: This is a real business that is existed for 10 years.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_00]: But standing next to and this is the issues, continuing to stand next to and smile with people that we know are lying.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_00]: Is there a problem that needs to be addressed?
- 17:45[SPEAKER_00]: Because that's not the sort of friends that I keep.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_00]: When my friends or even me are not doing well, I have an expectation that my friend's tapping me as a hey bro.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: Hey bro, you could show up a little bit better here, or I know that this is a value that you care about,
- 18:03[SPEAKER_00]: 100% I like I'm uncomfortable standing next to you knowing that like you don't actually have the expertise in this game that you're talking about That is not a controversial statement
- 18:14[SPEAKER_00]: and making it controversial and trying to make it real housewives is part of the problem.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not about the real housewives with you.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_00]: That ends up being part of the game, right?
- 18:22[SPEAKER_00]: Like, some of these folks, they have much bigger fricter fry than me and my opinions, right?
- 18:28[SPEAKER_00]: Document it.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_00]: They should go be talking and dealing with that, then to be trying to worry about me talking about the facts of what's going on in the community.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_01]: Listen, there is nothing that I disagree with.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying the it's just there were there were just people in there and only because You may not know every person in the post and
- 18:53[SPEAKER_01]: But what I'm from my perspective, for my perspective, or public opinion is, I'm throwing stones at all of you ninjas.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_00]: I know, I know math, that that's what I know math.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_01]: So, so you have to say that 45% of y'all actually do what you say you're going to do.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_00]: The vast majority of people that are on the internet talking about being at some sort of miraculous level of business under some miraculous timeline are lying.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_00]: And stuff is verifiable.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_00]: Your work is verifiable.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: The fact that you sat on this chair for 12 hours is going to be verifiable.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_00]: If you don't know where it came from and it's like one of those characters out of a movie, this person just popped up on an island with a mega mansion right?
- 19:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not going to say that that never happens, right?
- 19:42[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 19:43[SPEAKER_00]: all of the people that we study for the most part, you can trace back the source of their wealth.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_00]: And that's not a pocket watch and they're doing like it's not that hard to see where people are gathering large sums of money.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_00]: They're normally in commerce in a way where you would like it makes sense, right?
- 20:03[SPEAKER_00]: There's always a line out the door.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_00]: They always like,
- 20:06[SPEAKER_00]: I can see the fundamentals of how this works.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_00]: If you're looking at someone and it's like, and it's a controversial question to say, hey, we're like, can you show me where you built this expertise?
- 20:20[SPEAKER_00]: And they get sensitive about that and then defensive?
- 20:23[SPEAKER_00]: Like, like, if you were to question my law degree, well, one called Georgetown Law.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_00]: They'll tell you that I graduated.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_00]: There were a lot of people that I graduated with.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_00]: I went to a top law school and like, that's not hard to go find.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_00]: If you want to go, like, there's not anything about me that if you really wanted to go try to understand if it's a true thing, that it would be that difficult to go.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_00]: So why do we have so many people that are experts, but you can't.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_00]: When you go on their LinkedIn, if they have one,
- 21:00[SPEAKER_01]: All right, my leg there's trash.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, but I still.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna learn.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_00]: But that's just one to it.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_00]: But if you go in there background, right, you can verify.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_00]: That story that David gave like he actually worked there when he said he worked there.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_00]: Sure.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_00]: He actually gained that skill set here.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_00]: He actually, and look, this isn't some like go get some formal education conversation.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_00]: Some people learn the things that they learn, actually on the job.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_00]: Right, so I talked about my law degree a couple of times.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_00]: Most of the things that I know in business, I learned because I've been in business.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't, I don't have an MBA.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_00]: This is the only job I've actually ever had.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_00]: Right, like, I graduated from law school and I started a business.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_00]: So anything that I say about business, I learned because I've learned it being in business.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_00]: But all of those things are also very viable.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_01]: Would you ever sell a course?
- 21:47[SPEAKER_00]: maybe.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_00]: If I felt like I had something to contribute, that was different.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_01]: That's good to know.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not against, I'm not against courses, I'm four expertise.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_00]: Like, like, please, like, I am not against courses, I am four expertise.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_00]: That is it.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_00]: I really, people are mislabeling what my, I am four expertise.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_00]: I'm four high quality information.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm four things that you're teaching people actually being skills that are helpful to them.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I'm for.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_01]: I love talking to you, bro.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_00]: Good just make it look like I can't believe we've had like you've got me hot talking about something like like basic stuff.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_00]: I mean it's like, I'm in here, like, come here, it's going to, I mean, like, it's, I'm like, I got, I peed why I never heard it before.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_00]: Jump, I'm like, wait, hold on, because I'm saying I'm for experts, be experts.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_00]: that's not the only right if you have to see why so what you think my grandmother you say her dog holly like like and there's no i i don't if it is not about you i cannot i cannot see having such a strong visceral reaction to me talking about social especially if you know me but no but if you if you you go and just look at my page
- 23:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not in a fire fight with anybody at any time.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but I'm talking about social issues every single day.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_01]: Most people don't see that, but I made a post about how I'm grateful that my wife cooks for me every day.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, man, I feel sorry for those who married the wrong woman.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_01]: Because there are people that married the wrong woman.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_01]: And one of the highlights of me marrying the right woman I think is she looks at like my how I'm I'm on my health journey and she'll prepare my lunch so I don't go out eating eat wings every day.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_01]: They killed me in the comments.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_00]: Without what?
- 23:40[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_01]: They said, oh, you call it women
- 23:52[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's that you're in a relationship that works for you if you look if you're in a relationship or the person doesn't Because we're getting way too But I'm saying the internet what I'm saying is the internet creates their perception about what you're saying or what's happening from their own lens and they react
- 24:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, sure, right, but I think one of the things that we have to change is feeling the need to go back and forth.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but you, what you didn't see for me and what you will never see for me.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_00]: I'll be on the record right now.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_00]: There is no point in trying to have some back and forth internet discussion with, like, I am running a real company.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_00]: I do not have time to be making videos about anybody at any point in time.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 24:37[SPEAKER_00]: With respect if that's your thing, right and Continue to do it, but you're never gonna see me play that game with you Like like I have I have a table this will talk like I like I got to wishing to pay like it's I got two kids It's like I don't have time to be going back and forth with you about things that aren't important to me.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_00]: What's important to me?
- 25:02[SPEAKER_00]: are that experts actually have expertise and if anyone is watching this conversation and those words just harm you I would ask you to reflect as to why because they shouldn't right if you're an expert and you're teaching good quality content and have good conversation keep doing that.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm happy birthday.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like that.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_01]: I thought you hated course creators, bro.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_01]: But there's a lot of things out there.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_00]: They are experts.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_00]: I don't like people that create courses about subjects that they don't know anything about.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like that.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_00]: And that isn't, and I will say for the 100th time, that is not a controversial comment.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_00]: Or should.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_00]: you should know and be well versed and I'm not talking about you picked it up last year or became a passion project six weeks ago talking about you've spent some real time in this discipline to a point where you feel like you can now turn to other people and charge for that time you develop that sort of knowledge base and I don't care if it's formally within a school or
- 26:11[SPEAKER_00]: you should feel like you have the one of the best people in the world at understanding this subject.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_00]: If you are not that person in this domain, I respectfully ask for you to stop asking people to pay money that they don't have.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 26:28[SPEAKER_00]: Statistically speaking, if we just look at Atlanta again, most people do not have the discretionary income to be playing around with you.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_00]: right so when you're asking people to invest in this that or the other know that that is a sacred dollar right that is a dollar that that was like very hard to achieve and it can't just escape with you going to go play around right so that then you can get back on the internet and like i'm not going to try to police out people uh... display wealth right but i don't think that you're broke and
- 26:59[SPEAKER_00]: You don't play those games.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_00]: Why not.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_00]: Why do you not feel the desire to go play rich on the internet?
- 27:07[SPEAKER_01]: One, I'm in the grind.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_01]: Just like everybody else.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_00]: But you're not broke though.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_00]: So why do you not feel the desire to go play rich?
- 27:16[SPEAKER_00]: I don't.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_00]: Because this is not dress up.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, this is not some doll house for me, right?
- 27:25[SPEAKER_00]: Like, this is my real life.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_00]: Fortunately, I can look you and I and say, I'm not broke either, right?
- 27:30[SPEAKER_00]: Thank God.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_00]: But I don't, I don't in need in that need to make you feel or anybody feel like they haven't figured out something in the life because I've been fortunate to be able to have some blessings to my way.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like my greater passion is to try to figure out how you actually could achieve whatever it is that you want to achieve, not stun on you on the internet.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_01]: All right, I appreciate your man.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_00]: Look, I thought we were coming to talk about, I don't even know, they can't do this.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know where the conversation is going to go until we, yeah, exactly, exactly, exactly.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_00]: I probably should do it.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_00]: I appreciate that.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, if you start playing originally in it, I'm going to actually do this.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, right.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 28:17[SPEAKER_01]: who aren't nearly close to that, so I'm not even trying to attract, I don't attract the person that's trying to make $20 million.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_01]: Right, and it's my audience.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's a cool thing.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_00]: Like this call of what it is, yes, all of that and it's corny.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_00]: In these circumstances right now, in the situation that we're in as a community right now, it's corny.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's worth honestly, it's worse than that.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_00]: All right, folks right now are trying to figure out how to make it happen on a very, very basic level.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_00]: So sitting on the internet, playing and dress up with a life that you don't actually live to try to make them feel bad about that situation, it's a word worse than corny, right?
- 28:56[SPEAKER_00]: And like we have to be okay saying, hey, in this time in place, that's your contribution.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_00]: Playing rich, that's the best that you can give us.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_00]: When, what's sad about that is like, a lot of these brothers and sisters have skills, right?
- 29:12[SPEAKER_00]: They're great marketers, they're great communicators, they're great, and you've decided to use those skills to be out here playing with money that you don't have.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_00]: And as I've said a million times, if I'm wrong about all of this,
- 29:27[SPEAKER_00]: They're a verifiable ways.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_00]: Stop posting all the little stupid charts.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_00]: Post your tax returns.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_00]: We call it...
- 29:36[SPEAKER_00]: This is the... Don't show us all of these stupid charts and all of different schemes and different ways.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_00]: Show us what you show the government.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_00]: And before we do that, oh, no, we don't do that.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_00]: Like this... Show us some verifiable information that's legit
- 29:58[SPEAKER_00]: It was normally it's a chart and it's an almost a screen and like some might come up behind it's like, see, I did show us what you show the government every time I asked the question that way, I ain't never seen the tax return to be posted.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_00]: Not one time and so I'm easy, I would be easy to shut up in this space.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_00]: You could pull up on me and be like, I said I made $10 million last year.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_00]: Here's $10 million.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_00]: Why have we never seen that from anybody?
- 30:27[SPEAKER_02]: That's good.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: That should be the next 12-hour challenge, layer by come on and post short conversation.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_00]: I said I do well.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_00]: Here's me doing well.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_01]: For sure.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_01]: Brian, I appreciate you, my brother.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_00]: Love.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_00]: Good to see you, man.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_00]: Happy birthday.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_01]: I thank you.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_01]: I do some work, man.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_00]: No, look.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_01]: You did say that last time though.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but you guys might open the whole new location.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_00]: I open the whole, I'm, it's out in the world now.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_00]: Life is back to more normal.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_01]: Next week, let's talk.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_00]: All right, come back.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_01]: Back to the British.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_01]: Let's the man, go follow my brother Ryan Wilson, man.
