- 0:00Speaker 1: Thank you all for being here as we take action
- 0:03Speaker 1: to get illegal alien truck drivers off the American roadways.
- 0:08Speaker 1: We're doing a very strong movement and we have had
- 0:11Speaker 1: such support for this and replace them with proud American veterans.
- 0:19Speaker 1: And it's about.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Time you're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with
- 0:24Speaker 2: Ben ferguson.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Good Friday morning. It's nice to have you with us
- 0:27Speaker 3: on the forty seven Morning Update. And we've got two
- 0:29Speaker 3: big stories for you. First up, President Trump promised he
- 0:33Speaker 3: was going to secure the southern border. He's done it.
- 0:36Speaker 3: The question then is where do all the illegal immigrants go. Well,
- 0:40Speaker 3: now we're watching Europe be completely overrun. Spain has such
- 0:45Speaker 3: a crisis right now. No one even knows how to
- 0:48Speaker 3: stop what's happening. And we have the details. Plus, Donald
- 0:52Speaker 3: Trump announced a Gaza breakthrough now saying that Hummas, Yeah,
- 0:57Speaker 3: the terrorist organization has agreed to a this armament deal
- 1:01Speaker 3: so that then there can be peace in Gaza and Israel.
- 1:06Speaker 3: It's a trust for Verify moment, but it is a
- 1:09Speaker 3: big step in the right direction, and I have the details.
- 1:12Speaker 3: It's the forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Story number one for years.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Europe has been debating immigration as though it were a
- 1:21Speaker 3: theoretical political discussion, and much of it actually revolved around
- 1:26Speaker 3: America's open border policies under the prior democratic administrations that
- 1:31Speaker 3: led in tens of millions of illegal immigrants into the US.
- 1:35Speaker 3: We now know that President Trump has secured the border
- 1:38Speaker 3: in a historical way. So what is happening around the world. Well,
- 1:43Speaker 3: many of those millions that were coming to America are
- 1:45Speaker 3: now looking for new places to go, and they're finding
- 1:49Speaker 3: those new places. Especially this week, it became impossible for
- 1:54Speaker 3: the world to ignore dramatic scenes from Spain's North Africa
- 1:59Speaker 3: Enclave show thousands of migrants attempting to reach Spanish territory
- 2:04Speaker 3: from Morocco, many by simply swimming around the border barriers.
- 2:09Speaker 3: The images they are extraordinary, crowds pouring out of beaches,
- 2:13Speaker 3: emergency responders racing into the water, police trying to regain control,
- 2:18Speaker 3: and local officials warning that their city is literally overwhelmed
- 2:24Speaker 3: with what would be called normally illegal immigrants. Now, if
- 2:28Speaker 3: you think about what these images actually represent, this isn't
- 2:32Speaker 3: someone arriving at a legal port of entry, This isn't
- 2:36Speaker 3: someone presenting documents, This isn't someone waiting for an immigration hearing.
- 2:41Speaker 3: These are mass crossings occurring in real time, very much
- 2:45Speaker 3: like what we witness in America at the Rio Grand
- 2:48Speaker 3: In fact, it's the issue that brought Donald Trump back
- 2:51Speaker 3: to the White House securing our southern border. Well now
- 2:55Speaker 3: again these illegal immigrants from around the world have decided
- 2:59Speaker 3: to move on to other countries, and that means mass
- 3:02Speaker 3: crossings occurring in real time on European borders where local
- 3:07Speaker 3: authorities say they simply cannot keep pace with the number
- 3:10Speaker 3: of arrivals. Sounds familiar, right, It's exactly what we witness
- 3:14Speaker 3: under the Obama administration and certainly what we witness under
- 3:18Speaker 3: the Biden administration. Now, Spanish territory that's located on the
- 3:23Speaker 3: northern coast of Africa is making it one of the
- 3:25Speaker 3: European Union's only land borders with Africa. Because of that geography,
- 3:31Speaker 3: it has long been a pressure point for legal immigration.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Officials say this latest surge is like something they've never
- 3:37Speaker 3: seen before. It's the most significant, they say, in decades,
- 3:42Speaker 3: with thousands and thousands arriving in days, overwhelming reception centers
- 3:48Speaker 3: and forcing Spain now to deploy quote additional police and
- 3:53Speaker 3: military personnel to restore order. The videos they're striking, they're
- 3:59Speaker 3: actually shocked because of who is in the videos. You're
- 4:03Speaker 3: not seeing a lot of women and children. What you
- 4:06Speaker 3: are seeing as groups of young men, military age men.
- 4:11Speaker 3: You can see them entering the water from Morocco and
- 4:13Speaker 3: swimming around the breakwaters that separate Moroccan territory from Spain.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Others reached the shoreline and immediately run inland. The scale
- 4:23Speaker 3: of the crossings has well reignited the political debate across
- 4:27Speaker 3: Spain and now throughout Europe over is it maybe time
- 4:31Speaker 3: for border security. It's also bring up questions, just like
- 4:35Speaker 3: we had in this country, about asylum procedures and how
- 4:39Speaker 3: government should respond to large, massive migration surges. Now, there's
- 4:45Speaker 3: one thing that's very clear. Europe knew this was coming,
- 4:49Speaker 3: and Europe wasn't prepared for it, possibly on purpose. Now,
- 4:53Speaker 3: one of the details that frequently is not highlighting the
- 4:57Speaker 3: news coverage is that many of those visible in this
- 5:01Speaker 3: footage are men. I'll say it again. We're not talking
- 5:05Speaker 3: about a lot of women or children, or you can
- 5:08Speaker 3: even say families. Now that distinction is incredibly important because
- 5:13Speaker 3: public discussion often always focuses on the pull on your heartstring,
- 5:18Speaker 3: stories about just children and mothers and grandparents and families
- 5:23Speaker 3: who are just looking for a better life. You look
- 5:27Speaker 3: at the video and what do you see. You don't
- 5:29Speaker 3: see hardly any of that storytelling. You see military age
- 5:35Speaker 3: men without children, without wives, without families, who are surging
- 5:41Speaker 3: across these borders. Local officials are now saying that well,
- 5:46Speaker 3: they're describing the situation as quote an emergency, and they're
- 5:50Speaker 3: warning that local infrastructure and policing cannot absorb these large
- 5:54Speaker 3: numbers of arrivals in such a short period of time.
- 5:58Speaker 3: They also say it as a threat to the local
- 6:00Speaker 3: community and reception facilities. They're filling up now quote so
- 6:05Speaker 3: rapidly that emergency services are stretched thin. Let me be clear,
- 6:10Speaker 3: that's no emergency services for the illegal immigrants, that's emergency
- 6:15Speaker 3: services for the community. The citizens in Spain, and the
- 6:20Speaker 3: city has now appealed to Madrid, begging for additional aid
- 6:25Speaker 3: and begging for additional security, and begging for additional assistance. Now,
- 6:30Speaker 3: Spain's national government has responded today by deploying what they
- 6:34Speaker 3: describe as quote additional civil guard officers and military personnel.
- 6:41Speaker 3: They say to reinforce security. The prime minister there has
- 6:45Speaker 3: defended the government's response, saying authorities are coordinating with Morocco
- 6:49Speaker 3: while working to restore order. Clearly, Morocco is not working
- 6:54Speaker 3: hard to stop the illegal immigrants from gathering and surging
- 6:57Speaker 3: across the border or around the security booies in the water. Migration,
- 7:04Speaker 3: by the way, across the Mediterranean has challenged Europe for years.
- 7:08Speaker 3: The routes, they constantly change. When one pathway becomes more difficult,
- 7:12Speaker 3: the illegal immigrants and the smuggling networks, they'll just shift
- 7:15Speaker 3: to another. And they're seeing an increased number of individuals
- 7:20Speaker 3: that are making money, just like we saw with the
- 7:22Speaker 3: cartels in Mexico, who've realized that not only can you
- 7:25Speaker 3: make serious cash smuggling human beings into another country, but
- 7:30Speaker 3: if you move around quickly, you can do it efficiently.
- 7:34Speaker 3: We're also witnessing new types of technology, including seedws and
- 7:38Speaker 3: watercraft that are being used to beach people jump off
- 7:43Speaker 3: and immediately the person, the pilot, the driver, whatever you
- 7:46Speaker 3: want to call them, turns around, goes and grabs another
- 7:49Speaker 3: load and brings them back to shore before anyone can
- 7:52Speaker 3: stop them. How much are they making Some reports are
- 7:56Speaker 3: saying thousands per individual now imagine you drop off twenty
- 8:00Speaker 3: people in a day. You can do the math. Now,
- 8:03Speaker 3: the politics of this is what really everyone is focusing
- 8:06Speaker 3: on at the moment, because across Europe, leaders, well, they've
- 8:10Speaker 3: been arguing that you must be a welcoming country, you
- 8:14Speaker 3: must be a loving country, we must be a loving
- 8:17Speaker 3: European Union. Now Spain's immigration policies are encouraging what they
- 8:22Speaker 3: describe as additional illegal immigrants because of the geopolitical tensions
- 8:27Speaker 3: between Spain and Morocco, and many analysts are now suggesting
- 8:31Speaker 3: the timing may also reflect the diplomatic strains between the
- 8:34Speaker 3: two countries. Is Spain is in a situation now where
- 8:37Speaker 3: something has to change or their country will be gone forever.
- 8:42Speaker 3: That is what's happening right now, and it's worth paying
- 8:46Speaker 3: attention to because the takeaway is this, why is the
- 8:50Speaker 3: surge getting so big now in Europe? It is because
- 8:54Speaker 3: America's borders are closed, and when these immigrants look at
- 8:59Speaker 3: where they can go, oh, America is no longer on
- 9:02Speaker 3: the destination list. It is virtually impossible to break into
- 9:06Speaker 3: America right now because of Donald Trump being in charge.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Because how quickly when we catch you we send you
- 9:13Speaker 3: back to your host country, and that is why Europe
- 9:17Speaker 3: has become target number one for legal immigrants all over
- 9:21Speaker 3: the world who don't respect borders or the laws of
- 9:25Speaker 3: the countries they invade.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Next story number two.
- 9:28Speaker 3: I'm going to start this story by saying, I am
- 9:31Speaker 3: pessimistically optimistic about what I'm about to tell you, and
- 9:35Speaker 3: I think the White House is probably in agreement with me.
- 9:38Speaker 3: This is a trust but verify moment, but it can
- 9:42Speaker 3: also be exciting and good news. President Donald Trump announcing
- 9:47Speaker 3: an agreement for the quote complete disarmament of the terrorist
- 9:51Speaker 3: group Hamas, calling it a critical step towards a new
- 9:55Speaker 3: Palestinian government. In Gaza, senior Hamas officials told AFP that
- 10:01Speaker 3: the agreement reached with Israel includes provisions addressing the group's
- 10:06Speaker 3: weapons and the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from the
- 10:10Speaker 3: Gaza Strip. Quote An agreement has been reached regarding the
- 10:14Speaker 3: issue of weapons. Furthermore, an agreement has been reached on
- 10:18Speaker 3: a gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from the strip. A
- 10:21Speaker 3: senior Hamas official stated, now, there's no immediate statement from
- 10:25Speaker 3: Israel yet, and we are expecting one now. President Trump's
- 10:29Speaker 3: announcement came after sources familiar with the ongoing talks with
- 10:33Speaker 3: the mediators in Cairo told AFP that the palising in
- 10:37Speaker 3: Islamic movement was progressing towards a deal involving the decommissioning
- 10:42Speaker 3: of its weapons. Quote today, the Board of Peace reached
- 10:46Speaker 3: a historic agreement for the complete disarmament of AMAS and
- 10:51Speaker 3: all other armed groups in Gaza. This is a monumental
- 10:55Speaker 3: step towards lasting peace and security. That is what President
- 10:59Speaker 3: Trump wrote on True Social saying disarmament would take place
- 11:03Speaker 3: in carefully structured phases. As disarmaments completed, Israeli forces will
- 11:09Speaker 3: withdraw and the International Stabilization Force will work with a
- 11:13Speaker 3: new palace Inian Police force to take responsibility for Gaza
- 11:17Speaker 3: being safe for its residents and its neighbors. He added,
- 11:22Speaker 3: also thinking the mediators from Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey. Now,
- 11:27Speaker 3: the thorny issue of amasa's disarmament has been one of
- 11:30Speaker 3: the key sticking points in the advancement of the ceasefire
- 11:32Speaker 3: deal that has been in place between Israel and the
- 11:35Speaker 3: groups in Gaza since quote October. Now, despite the ceasefire,
- 11:40Speaker 3: we've had violence as continued in Gaza, Israeli strikes killing
- 11:44Speaker 3: at least four people, including two children, on Thursday because
- 11:48Speaker 3: they were terrorists. Cairo has set to host a meeting
- 11:52Speaker 3: soon of the Gaza truce mediators, which include the United States, Qatar, Turkey,
- 11:57Speaker 3: and state linked cah News reported that on early Friday.
- 12:03Speaker 3: The news outlet also did not specify when the meetings
- 12:06Speaker 3: will take place, but said it would discuss implementing the
- 12:09Speaker 3: second phase of the Gaza Ceasefire Plan, a roadmap for
- 12:12Speaker 3: which AMAS and Palasinian factions have agreed now. Under President
- 12:17Speaker 3: Trump's twenty point piece plan for Gaza, the second phase
- 12:21Speaker 3: of the ceasefire was to involve hamasa's disarmament and then
- 12:26Speaker 3: the graduate with draw of Israeli forces from the territory.
- 12:29Speaker 3: The plan also provides for a group of Palestinian technocrats,
- 12:34Speaker 3: the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza, to assume
- 12:37Speaker 3: day to day governance during Gaza's transitional phase out of war.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Now earlier, a diplomatic source also said to the news
- 12:46Speaker 3: outlet AFP, we continue to advance the implementation roadmap that
- 12:50Speaker 3: offers a balance and pragmatic path forward with all weapons
- 12:55Speaker 3: decommissioned and a phased transition of responsibilities taking place to
- 13:00Speaker 3: hand over full authority to the new government. Now, look,
- 13:05Speaker 3: there are a lot of questions here if this will
- 13:07Speaker 3: actually happen, can you actually trust terrorists and are terrists
- 13:12Speaker 3: ever really going to disarm themselves. Well, the roadmap that's
- 13:15Speaker 3: been laid out, one source said, would create a process
- 13:19Speaker 3: for the elimination of all tunnels, deposits of weapons, and
- 13:23Speaker 3: any weapons production facilities. That is obviously a step in
- 13:27Speaker 3: the right direction. Now, all weapons heavy in light, they say,
- 13:31Speaker 3: will be under full control of the NCAG, and that
- 13:35Speaker 3: will be in coordination with the support of THESF. The
- 13:39Speaker 3: sources also said that the International Stabilization Force and Fledging
- 13:44Speaker 3: Body will come together. Now, obviously there are a lot
- 13:47Speaker 3: of moving parts here. The President is excited about this
- 13:51Speaker 3: movement because it does seem like they have bombed Moss
- 13:54Speaker 3: into submission and Israel has done what they needed to
- 13:57Speaker 3: do to protect themselves. But there is an outlet for peace,
- 14:01Speaker 3: maybe an exit ramp, and we should all be hoping
- 14:04Speaker 3: for that. Even Israel is looking like they are going
- 14:08Speaker 3: towards this route with some sort of enthusiasm. They are
- 14:12Speaker 3: ready for peace as well, and the President says that
- 14:15Speaker 3: his plan is exactly how we're gonna get there.
