Mega Edition: Ghislaine Maxwell And The Art Of Never Telling The Truth (8/5/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

• 0:00
Speaker 1: High society, especially in New York, seems to have amnesia
• 0:06
Speaker 1: when it comes to their prior relationship with Epstein and
• 0:10
Speaker 1: Glean Maxwell. So today we're gonna hop back in time
• 0:14
Speaker 1: to twenty fifteen and take a look at an article
• 0:18
Speaker 1: from the Daily Mail that talks about how the rich,
• 0:22
Speaker 1: and the famous and the powerful are all in thrall
• 0:26
Speaker 1: of Glean Maxwell. Now, remember this is from twenty fifteen,
• 0:31
Speaker 1: before she was indicted, before she was charged, and listened
• 0:35
Speaker 1: to the way they all speak so glowingly of her.
• 0:40
Speaker 1: This is a woman who had serious allegations hanging over
• 0:43
Speaker 1: her head, and the so called elite had no problem
• 0:48
Speaker 1: not only welcoming her back into their little club, but
• 0:53
Speaker 1: also singing her praises. So let's get right to this
• 0:57
Speaker 1: article that was authored by Guy Adam and Tom Leonard.
• 1:04
Speaker 1: At a recent technology conference outside New York, delegates were
• 1:08
Speaker 1: introduced to a smartly dressed woman with short, dark hair
• 1:12
Speaker 1: and a cut glass English accent who would be given
• 1:16
Speaker 1: a keynote speech. According to the event's host, this person
• 1:20
Speaker 1: was easily one of the smartest and most fascinating people
• 1:24
Speaker 1: I have ever met. This is proven, he declared, by
• 1:28
Speaker 1: the fact that she holds a bachelor's and master's degree
• 1:31
Speaker 1: from Oxford University, is a private helicopter pilot, a trained DMT,
• 1:37
Speaker 1: a deep worker submarine pilot, in addition to being a
• 1:41
Speaker 1: being fluent in four languages. The name of this remarkable
• 1:45
Speaker 1: sounding individual Glene Maxwell. Imagine and now remember this is
• 1:51
Speaker 1: twenty fifteen. It's not like they didn't know what Jeffrey
• 1:54
Speaker 1: Epstein was. It's not like they didn't know that she
• 1:57
Speaker 1: was a key cog in the machine. And yet they're
• 2:01
Speaker 1: up here singing her praises such as this and her
• 2:06
Speaker 1: ensuing speech was one of the series that the fifty
• 2:09
Speaker 1: three year old made last year to promote the launch
• 2:12
Speaker 1: of her new marine charity. Tara Marr, as we all
• 2:15
Speaker 1: know that was garbage, did an episode on that recently yesterday,
• 2:19
Speaker 1: and we know that all that had to do with
• 2:21
Speaker 1: was her trying to refurbish her image and use charity
• 2:24
Speaker 1: as a shield. Citing statistics about pollution and overfishing, Miss
• 2:30
Speaker 1: Maxwell urged her audience to become supporters of the nonprofit organization.
• 2:35
Speaker 1: She explained how Tara Marr, which boasts her friends Sir
• 2:39
Speaker 1: Richard Branson and Lord Mandelson as supporters, runs a jazzy website,
• 2:44
Speaker 1: which carries educational literature, petitions, and fundraising tools devoted to
• 2:50
Speaker 1: campaigning for marine conservation. So I wonder if Richard Branson's
• 2:55
Speaker 1: ever gonna offer up any information about his relationship with
• 3:00
Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell, or if he's just going to continue buying
• 3:03
Speaker 1: hotels I love here in Las Vegas, hotels and casinos
• 3:07
Speaker 1: and ruining them, because that's what he did with the
• 3:10
Speaker 1: hard Rock. He bought it and turned it into the
• 3:12
Speaker 1: Virgin Hotel, and it's absolutely terrible. Now. In the old days,
• 3:16
Speaker 1: you'd go to the hard Rock and there was this
• 3:19
Speaker 1: center bar right smack dab in the middle of the casino,
• 3:22
Speaker 1: and you couldn't even get to the bar to get
• 3:24
Speaker 1: a drink. That's how crazy it was back in the day.
• 3:27
Speaker 1: I would leave my office to go down to the
• 3:29
Speaker 1: pool to check on another concert, and I couldn't even
• 3:32
Speaker 1: get through the hallways. But this scuzzbag dick Branson shows
• 3:37
Speaker 1: up and ruins the whole entire place. Maxwell's speech hinged
• 3:42
Speaker 1: on acute, if somewhat rambling, personal story how she, the
• 3:46
Speaker 1: youngest daughter of press baron Robert Maxwell, had during childhood
• 3:50
Speaker 1: forged a lifelong obsession with the high seas. I started
• 3:54
Speaker 1: diving when I was nine, she declared, adding that from
• 3:57
Speaker 1: a remarkably early age, she then realized I was going
• 4:01
Speaker 1: to dedicate the rest of my life to taking an
• 4:04
Speaker 1: involvement with and bringing an education around the ocean. So far,
• 4:09
Speaker 1: so righteous. Yet a cynic might have wondered if Maxwell's
• 4:13
Speaker 1: uplifting yarn accurately reflected the ups and downs of her
• 4:17
Speaker 1: real life story. For charity work and marine conservation aren't
• 4:22
Speaker 1: exactly what she is famed for. But they'll look by that, right,
• 4:26
Speaker 1: the so called elite, the New York society that we're
• 4:29
Speaker 1: talking about now, they don't care about any of that shit.
• 4:32
Speaker 1: It's all about what you bring to the table financially
• 4:35
Speaker 1: and as far as the power structure in general. Instead,
• 4:41
Speaker 1: the scion of one of Britain's most fabulously corrupt business dynasties,
• 4:45
Speaker 1: is rather better known for attending glamorous parties and her
• 4:48
Speaker 1: friendship with some of the wealthiest and most powerful people
• 4:52
Speaker 1: in the world. You see, they forget to leave out
• 4:54
Speaker 1: the Epstein stuff here. Huh, it's not at the forefront.
• 4:59
Speaker 1: I wonder why that is based in Manhattan Since the
• 5:02
Speaker 1: early nineteen nineties, she describes herself as a business consultant
• 5:06
Speaker 1: in company's house documents, and as a social media marketing
• 5:10
Speaker 1: expert on LinkedIn the business networking website Give me a Break.
• 5:15
Speaker 1: She's a social media marketing genius huh yeah, and I'm
• 5:17
Speaker 1: the Pope. Glenn. Maxwell's main activity, however, is networking now.
• 5:23
Speaker 1: Maxwell's actip main activity, however, is human trafficking. A gregarious woman,
• 5:28
Speaker 1: she is widely regarded as one of New York's and
• 5:30
Speaker 1: London's best connected socialites. Now widely regarded now as a
• 5:34
Speaker 1: bipedal serpent, a human trafficker, and a scusbag. She has
• 5:40
Speaker 1: inherited her father's slightly bombastic charisma and is one of
• 5:44
Speaker 1: those people who successfully trades on the fact that she
• 5:48
Speaker 1: knows lots of other fancy people, including Clinton's, Kennedy's, and
• 5:53
Speaker 1: various royals. Says one acquaintance. Lately, however, a shadow has
• 5:58
Speaker 1: been cast across this glamorous existence. I mean a shadow.
• 6:03
Speaker 1: How about a fucking eclipse. It stretches back to June
• 6:07
Speaker 1: two thousand and eight. That was when Jeffrey Epstein, miss
• 6:11
Speaker 1: Maxwell's ex billionaire boyfriend pedophile, not billionaire, not boyfriend, not benefactor,
• 6:17
Speaker 1: and almost constant associate for most of her adult life,
• 6:20
Speaker 1: was sent to prison for child sex offenses in Florida prison.
• 6:24
Speaker 1: He was sent to jail. Okay, first of all, Second
• 6:28
Speaker 1: of all, benefactor, ex boyfriend, you mean, co conspirator and
• 6:35
Speaker 1: partner in crime. Ever since, Miss Maxwell has been a
• 6:41
Speaker 1: central figure in a string of sensational lawsuits in which
• 6:44
Speaker 1: it has been alleged that she acted as a madam
• 6:47
Speaker 1: no human trafficker and procureur for the wealthy pedophile, helping
• 6:51
Speaker 1: to recruit underage girls to work as sex slaves at
• 6:55
Speaker 1: Epstein's luxury properties in New York, Florida, and the Caribbean.
• 7:00
Speaker 1: Notice how Zoro Ranch is conveniently left out of a
• 7:04
Speaker 1: lot of these earlier articles. And you notice how a
• 7:06
Speaker 1: lot of the names that get talked about a lot
• 7:09
Speaker 1: now are left out of these earlier articles. In court papers,
• 7:15
Speaker 1: it has been claimed that Maxwell not only trafficked girls
• 7:18
Speaker 1: to provide erotic massages to Epstein and a host of
• 7:21
Speaker 1: his famous and influential friends, but that she also took
• 7:25
Speaker 1: part in the abuse. One lawsuit accuses her, in graphic detail,
• 7:29
Speaker 1: of joining the pedophile financier, pedophile, pedophile, pedophile in sexually assaulting, battery,
• 7:36
Speaker 1: sexually assaulting, battering, exploiting, and abusing a fifteen year old girl.
• 7:41
Speaker 1: Miss Maxwell, it must be stressed, has always denied each
• 7:45
Speaker 1: in every allegation, but the scandal has failed to go away.
• 7:49
Speaker 1: A week ago, it returned to the front pages when
• 7:52
Speaker 1: an American woman named Virginia Roberts said in court papers
• 7:56
Speaker 1: that Miss Maxwell had recruited her to Epstein's Harem in
• 8:00
Speaker 1: the late nineties before in two thousand and one flying
• 8:04
Speaker 1: her across the Atlantic to meet Prince Andrew. Roberts, who
• 8:07
Speaker 1: was seventeen, then claims to have slept with Andrew three
• 8:12
Speaker 1: times Miss Maxwell, who has called her claims obvious lies,
• 8:16
Speaker 1: while the Prince has put out three statements to the
• 8:19
Speaker 1: same effect. Boy, how has that all worked out for everybody?
• 8:22
Speaker 1: Can so and refresh my memory. Let's see Glenn Maxwell
• 8:26
Speaker 1: going to prison for her whole life and had to
• 8:29
Speaker 1: pay pay Virginia out. Prince Andrew the only reason he's
• 8:33
Speaker 1: not going to prison for the rest of his life
• 8:35
Speaker 1: is because he is who he is. But him as
• 8:37
Speaker 1: well paying out a big fat sum of money. So
• 8:40
Speaker 1: all the denials they want to put out, that's fine
• 8:43
Speaker 1: and well, But when we go back in time and
• 8:45
Speaker 1: we look at these origin stories and how all of
• 8:48
Speaker 1: this came about. It's rather obvious that these people were
• 8:53
Speaker 1: bullshitting from the very beginning. Intriguingly, the Prince forced, amid
• 9:00
Speaker 1: public outrage, to discontinue his friendship with Epstein in twenty eleven,
• 9:05
Speaker 1: remains on friendly terms with Glaine. Now remember this was
• 9:08
Speaker 1: from twenty and fifteen, this article, so it shows you
• 9:11
Speaker 1: that they were still friends. They mention it here when
• 9:13
Speaker 1: it was still safe to do that, right before. Maxwell
• 9:16
Speaker 1: was a Hillman trafficker. We all knew back then she was. Indeed,
• 9:21
Speaker 1: a photograph emerged this week of miss Maxwell wearing a
• 9:24
Speaker 1: blonde wig middrift bearing top and gold trousers, with her
• 9:28
Speaker 1: arm draped around Prince Andrew's shoulders at a hooker's and
• 9:31
Speaker 1: pimps Halloween party in New York hosted by supermodel Heidi
• 9:35
Speaker 1: Klum in two thousand. Boy, is that ironic or what
• 9:39
Speaker 1: that Glain Maxwell would be at a hookers and hose party?
• 9:43
Speaker 1: I mean a hookers and pimps party. I mean the
• 9:46
Speaker 1: irony here. You just cannot make this stuff up, folks.
• 9:51
Speaker 1: What is more, In twenty thirteen, Andrew attended her birthday
• 9:55
Speaker 1: party at the Dorchester Hotel in London. The starry guest
• 9:59
Speaker 1: list in c ed Britain's richest MP laborer Sean Woodward
• 10:03
Speaker 1: and his Sainsbury's heiress wife Camilla Pink Floyd, drummer Nick Mason,
• 10:09
Speaker 1: and former IT girl Tamara Beckwith Now we know that
• 10:14
Speaker 1: the lead singer from Pink Floyd, Roger Waters his uh,
• 10:20
Speaker 1: his wife and Glean Maxwell were super close as well,
• 10:22
Speaker 1: and Waters too. He was hanging around another one of
• 10:25
Speaker 1: these clowns, running around telling everybody about how evil this
• 10:28
Speaker 1: one is or oh you have to stand up the
• 10:31
Speaker 1: Israel or whatever it is. The message the guy's sending ridiculous.
• 10:34
Speaker 1: Here's an idea, buddy, why don't you stop hanging out
• 10:37
Speaker 1: with people like Glane Maxwell before you tell anybody else
• 10:40
Speaker 1: what they should be doing. Last year, Golaan maintained a
• 10:44
Speaker 1: near constant presence among New York's smart society, and was
• 10:48
Speaker 1: photographed socializing with actress Juliana Margolis, movie star Josh Lucas
• 10:54
Speaker 1: and Jimmy Chew, and entrepren entrepreneur Tamra Melon. All of
• 10:59
Speaker 1: these people will tell you they have no idea who
• 11:01
Speaker 1: she is and they never hung out with her. It
• 11:03
Speaker 1: was just in passing. But this is why we do
• 11:07
Speaker 1: these look back episodes right to go and get a
• 11:09
Speaker 1: look behind the curtain of what was going on at
• 11:13
Speaker 1: the time. And in twenty fifteen, Gallon Maxwell was a
• 11:17
Speaker 1: fixture in New York at all of these social gatherings,
• 11:24
Speaker 1: all of which invites two questions. First, how exactly does
• 11:28
Speaker 1: this middle aged woman retain such stratospheric social cachet, untainted
• 11:34
Speaker 1: by not only her crooked families fall from grace but
• 11:37
Speaker 1: also one of the most tawdry sex scandals of modern times. Second,
• 11:43
Speaker 1: how was she able to move in the circles of
• 11:45
Speaker 1: the international super rich, inhabiting multimillion pound homes in New
• 11:49
Speaker 1: York and London despite having no publicly discernible source of income. Well,
• 11:55
Speaker 1: we all know that Epstein had her hooked up. She
• 11:57
Speaker 1: had offshore accounts from the money she made working with Epstein. Now,
• 12:02
Speaker 1: I don't even think anyone's even broached that subject really
• 12:05
Speaker 1: when it comes to her current situation. Have the Feds
• 12:09
Speaker 1: really dug in deep? Have we heard anything about forensic
• 12:11
Speaker 1: accountants chasing down all of these offshore accounts? Of course not.
• 12:19
Speaker 1: Miss Maxwell's curious story begins in the nineteen eighties, London, where,
• 12:23
Speaker 1: after attending Marlborough College and then Oxford University, she started
• 12:27
Speaker 1: the Kitcat Club, which purported to be an alternative to
• 12:31
Speaker 1: the old school Tie network for high powered women. She
• 12:34
Speaker 1: then worked for her father's newspaper, The European and was
• 12:38
Speaker 1: made a director of Oxford United Football Club, which he owned.
• 12:42
Speaker 1: Imagine playing soccer for Oxford and Glenn Maxwell's your boss.
• 12:46
Speaker 1: Has she ever even kicked a soccer ball? What would
• 12:49
Speaker 1: she know about soccer? This happy existence imploded in nineteen
• 12:54
Speaker 1: ninety one when Robert Maxwell drowned after falling off a
• 12:57
Speaker 1: yacht named Lady Glaine. After his it soon emerged that
• 13:01
Speaker 1: his newspaper empire was built on the proceeds of epic criminality,
• 13:07
Speaker 1: which had seen him defraud its pension fund of almost
• 13:10
Speaker 1: half a billion pounds. Vilified in the UK, where Robert
• 13:14
Speaker 1: Maxwell's victims were angered by the plush lifestyle his family
• 13:18
Speaker 1: had enjoyed at their expense. Glaane relocated to New York,
• 13:22
Speaker 1: where she took up residence in a small apartment and
• 13:25
Speaker 1: set about reinventing herself as a socialite. Oh yeah, reinventing
• 13:29
Speaker 1: herself more like, spent some time getting her wits about
• 13:33
Speaker 1: her getting her feet under her so her and Epstein
• 13:36
Speaker 1: could kick their plan in the motion. If that's what
• 13:38
Speaker 1: you mean about, you know, a small little apartment. It
• 13:41
Speaker 1: was to prove an inspired move, was it really? I mean?
• 13:45
Speaker 1: How did how did it end up for her? Maybe
• 13:47
Speaker 1: she should have just stayed in England. Glane has always
• 13:52
Speaker 1: been a prodigious networker, says one acquaintance. People in New
• 13:55
Speaker 1: York didn't care about the pension scandal, and of course
• 13:58
Speaker 1: they are all suckers for an dash accent. Maxwell then thirty,
• 14:02
Speaker 1: quickly met Epstein, Quickly met Epstein right, Like it wasn't planned,
• 14:06
Speaker 1: Like her dad didn't know Epstein beforehand, Like this wasn't
• 14:09
Speaker 1: all put into motion? Come on now, quickly met Epstein,
• 14:13
Speaker 1: a billionaire financier, you mean, a multi millionaire pedophile almost
• 14:18
Speaker 1: a decade or senior. Reportedly Attracted by his resemblance to
• 14:22
Speaker 1: her father, she was soon being photographed as his guest
• 14:25
Speaker 1: at social functions. Oh yeah, I'm sure this was all
• 14:29
Speaker 1: just you know, organic, how this all came about. He
• 14:34
Speaker 1: saved her, One friend told Vanity Fair. When her father died,
• 14:38
Speaker 1: she was a wreck, inconsolable, and then Jeffrey took her in.
• 14:42
Speaker 1: She's never forgotten that and never will. Did he take
• 14:44
Speaker 1: her in or was it all put into motion previously. Again,
• 14:48
Speaker 1: I'm not here to convince anyone of anything. I'm just
• 14:51
Speaker 1: telling you what I think. Initial romance soon mellowed into
• 14:57
Speaker 1: close friendship. However, amid rumors that Epstein wanted to see
• 15:00
Speaker 1: other women, there was never any real romance. It might
• 15:03
Speaker 1: have been up front, right, a facade, Oh yeah, we're
• 15:06
Speaker 1: a couple, but when it comes to actually really loving
• 15:09
Speaker 1: each other, or being monogamous or anything like that, zero chance.
• 15:18
Speaker 1: Glaine Duly became a fixer, com confidant, helping run Epstein's households,
• 15:23
Speaker 1: travel and social calendar, a role she would continue for
• 15:27
Speaker 1: over a decade. She has unbelievable contacts, and her thing
• 15:32
Speaker 1: is introducing people. A friend once said, from a point
• 15:34
Speaker 1: where she knew no one of importance, she took him
• 15:38
Speaker 1: into circles in which the Clinton's and Kennedy's moved. And
• 15:42
Speaker 1: again that was part of it. That was her job,
• 15:44
Speaker 1: her role. Epstein was going to provide the money, the
• 15:48
Speaker 1: inroads to the financial sector, and it was up to
• 15:51
Speaker 1: Glen Maxwell to help them climb the social ladder and
• 15:55
Speaker 1: be accepted in return Epstein and gave Maxwell a jet
• 16:01
Speaker 1: set lifestyle far beyond anything she could afford from the
• 16:04
Speaker 1: reported eighty thousand pounds a year trust fund set up
• 16:08
Speaker 1: for her by her crooked father. She traveled in Epstein's
• 16:12
Speaker 1: private jets with everyone from Bill Clinton to Naomi Campbell,
• 16:15
Speaker 1: and spent time at his outrageously luxurious homes in Florida
• 16:19
Speaker 1: and as private island in the US Virgin Islands. Yet
• 16:23
Speaker 1: there was a dark side to Jeffrey Epstein, laid bare
• 16:26
Speaker 1: in a string of lawsuits, witness statements and depositions filed
• 16:30
Speaker 1: in Florida courts by the Tycoons survivors. And in twenty fifteen,
• 16:36
Speaker 1: look how they were talking about this. Still they were
• 16:38
Speaker 1: still wearing, you know, kid gloves, almost when we all
• 16:42
Speaker 1: know that this was much deeper and darker than reported
• 16:46
Speaker 1: by the legacy media, they were still dancing around the
• 16:50
Speaker 1: meat and potatoes of it. Many mentioned Glaine by name,
• 16:56
Speaker 1: although it must be stressed that she denies wrongdoing. In
• 16:59
Speaker 1: two thousand and ten, for example, a woman called Beebe
• 17:03
Speaker 1: claimed that during the years she was allegedly abused by Epstein,
• 17:06
Speaker 1: Maxwell lived at his mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, she
• 17:11
Speaker 1: maintained a wardrobe at Epstein's estate in which she kept
• 17:14
Speaker 1: sexual toys and outfits. The lawsuit continued, adding that Maxwell,
• 17:18
Speaker 1: upon her own volition, actively and passively participated in sexual
• 17:23
Speaker 1: acts with minor girls she recruited. Now, remember this was
• 17:27
Speaker 1: all the way back in the day. This is what
• 17:29
Speaker 1: they were talking about, and nobody cared. Nobody wanted to
• 17:32
Speaker 1: stop them, nobody wanted to lift a finger. All they
• 17:34
Speaker 1: wanted to do is continue to have Maxwell at their parties. Meanwhile,
• 17:40
Speaker 1: a police incident report from two thousand and six, filed
• 17:43
Speaker 1: as evidence in a different case, contains a detective's account
• 17:46
Speaker 1: of an interview with Johanna Schuberg, a girl alleged to
• 17:49
Speaker 1: have worked for Epstein and who also met Prince Andrew.
• 17:53
Speaker 1: Schobert stated she met Epstein three years ago when Glene
• 17:57
Speaker 1: Maxwell approached her to work around Epstein's house. Maxwell told
• 18:01
Speaker 1: her they needed some girls to work at the house
• 18:03
Speaker 1: to answer phones and run errands. Schuberg, a pretty twenty
• 18:08
Speaker 1: three year old student, was allegedly later asked by Epstein
• 18:11
Speaker 1: to provide erotic massage and that was it. Right, come
• 18:14
Speaker 1: work at the house. It's a great place. You can
• 18:17
Speaker 1: work here. And everything will be fine. Then before you
• 18:21
Speaker 1: know it, this sick, disgusting bastard's exposing himself to you
• 18:25
Speaker 1: and demanding sexual contact. In two thousand and nine, lawyers
• 18:29
Speaker 1: preparing a case against Epstein meanwhile took a deposition from
• 18:33
Speaker 1: Alfredo Rodriguez, Epstein's former housekeeper. In it, he claimed that
• 18:38
Speaker 1: miss Maxwell kept an office under the stairs in the
• 18:41
Speaker 1: Palm Beach property, saying her computer contained a list of
• 18:44
Speaker 1: girls who came to give massages there, along with their
• 18:47
Speaker 1: phone numbers. Boy, oh boy, imagine having that hard drive.
• 18:50
Speaker 1: I wonder whatever happened to that hard drive. Is that
• 18:53
Speaker 1: laptop still laying around somewhere in some dusty ass FBI
• 18:57
Speaker 1: office or did Maxwell take it on one of her
• 19:00
Speaker 1: her submarine trips and leave it at the bottom of
• 19:02
Speaker 1: the ocean. Rodriguez further claimed that Maxwell kept nude pictures
• 19:07
Speaker 1: of some of these girls on the device. He believed
• 19:12
Speaker 1: these photos had been taken without the young women's knowledge.
• 19:16
Speaker 1: I don't think they knew they were being photographed, he said.
• 19:19
Speaker 1: Then there are the extraordinary but disputed claims by Roberts,
• 19:23
Speaker 1: who alleges that she spent four years as Epstein's slave
• 19:27
Speaker 1: after being introduced to him at the age of fifteen
• 19:30
Speaker 1: by Maxwell, whom she'd met while working at mar A Lago,
• 19:35
Speaker 1: a local beauty spot see in this article. It doesn't
• 19:38
Speaker 1: even mention where she was met, and it shows you
• 19:41
Speaker 1: that at this point in time, there were a whole
• 19:44
Speaker 1: bunch of different names on the table and people that
• 19:47
Speaker 1: still weren't exposed, so they didn't even bring up that
• 19:50
Speaker 1: it was at mar A Lago where she was met
• 19:52
Speaker 1: here in this article. On our first visit to Epstein's home,
• 19:56
Speaker 1: where she'd been offered work as a massuse, she was laid.
• 19:59
Speaker 1: She was led in to a bedroom where Epstein was
• 20:01
Speaker 1: lying naked on a table. After she had rubbed his
• 20:04
Speaker 1: back for forty minutes, the tycoon pedophile rolled over, exposing himself.
• 20:09
Speaker 1: She claims illegal paper dating back to two thousand and
• 20:13
Speaker 1: nine claims that Max that Maxwell then took off her
• 20:16
Speaker 1: own shirt and left on our underwear and started rubbing
• 20:19
Speaker 1: the upper part of her body across Epstein's body, showing
• 20:24
Speaker 1: Roberts what she was supposed to do. Maxwell then told
• 20:27
Speaker 1: Roberts to take off her clothes and the encounter escalated.
• 20:32
Speaker 1: So this is all stuff that we're familiar with as
• 20:35
Speaker 1: of now, but it builds the profile, and you know,
• 20:38
Speaker 1: you're starting to get murmurs of this. In twenty fifteen,
• 20:41
Speaker 1: people are starting to talk about it, but not to
• 20:44
Speaker 1: the extent or to the scope that it truly was.
• 20:50
Speaker 1: Roberts claims to have subsequently been kept as a sex
• 20:55
Speaker 1: slave and paid two hundred dollars a time to provide
• 20:58
Speaker 1: erotic massages to Epstein and his friends, including she alleges
• 21:03
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew in exclusive locations around the world. Jeffrey loved
• 21:08
Speaker 1: late loved the latex outfits Glaine had for US girls,
• 21:12
Speaker 1: reads a twenty and eleven court filing. He had bondage outfits.
• 21:16
Speaker 1: He had all different kinds of outfits, but his favorite
• 21:19
Speaker 1: was the schoolgirl Glaine would take me to dress up
• 21:22
Speaker 1: to surprise Jeffrey. That would include wearing a tiny little
• 21:25
Speaker 1: skirt with nothing underneath. Now in the trial, we have
• 21:29
Speaker 1: heard all of that right looking to the future, we
• 21:33
Speaker 1: heard all about the schoolgirl dress. They were introduced as evidence.
• 21:37
Speaker 1: Even regarding Robert's claims claims, Miss Maxwell's spokesman said this week,
• 21:42
Speaker 1: each time the story is retold, it changes with new
• 21:46
Speaker 1: sallacious details about public figures. The claims are obvious lies
• 21:50
Speaker 1: and should be treated as such. Oh yeah, obvious lies.
• 21:54
Speaker 1: Huh boy, Oh boy, who looks stupid? Now? Who's the
• 21:59
Speaker 1: real more? You're the one sitting in prison, Glenn Maxwell.
• 22:05
Speaker 1: It was claimed in court papers onearthed this week that
• 22:08
Speaker 1: Miss Maxwell, to dodge questions about these allegations, lied to
• 22:12
Speaker 1: lawyers that she had to return to the UK and
• 22:15
Speaker 1: had no plans to return to the US because her
• 22:18
Speaker 1: elderly mother was deathly ill and we've talked about that
• 22:22
Speaker 1: as well. She used that excuse to get out of
• 22:24
Speaker 1: the deposition, and she thought that that was going to
• 22:27
Speaker 1: be good enough. She thought they'd be able to obfuscate,
• 22:30
Speaker 1: kick the can down the road and litigate the shit
• 22:32
Speaker 1: out of this. But they never expected Boys and Schiller
• 22:35
Speaker 1: to show up and take this case. However, Miss Maxwell
• 22:39
Speaker 1: then popped up at Bill Clinton's daughter's wedding in America
• 22:43
Speaker 1: the following month. Despite the scandal, Maxwell certainly owes plenty
• 22:47
Speaker 1: ohes plenty of a plenty to her relationship with the
• 22:50
Speaker 1: convicted pedophile. Take for example, her magnificent home in a
• 22:54
Speaker 1: six story house on New York's East sixty fifth Street.
• 22:58
Speaker 1: The property was purchased in twenty ten by Darren Indyke,
• 23:02
Speaker 1: a local attorney with long standing links to Epstein. It
• 23:06
Speaker 1: was promptly split into two apartments, one of which is
• 23:10
Speaker 1: now Miss Maxwell's residence. It's unclear from public records who
• 23:14
Speaker 1: actually owns it. I'm sure she does. I'm sure she
• 23:17
Speaker 1: was given the deed. But again Darren Indyke popping up man.
• 23:21
Speaker 1: No reason to have an investigation into this guy. Let
• 23:24
Speaker 1: him just roll around and do whatever he wants. But
• 23:26
Speaker 1: you see those kids over there, I think they're smoking pot.
• 23:31
Speaker 1: Consider also a correspondence address that Maxwell gives the company's house.
• 23:35
Speaker 1: It's a tiny office and a business center next to
• 23:38
Speaker 1: a dive school in Saint Thomas, US virgin Islands. Several
• 23:41
Speaker 1: Epstein firms are also registered to the same location. Up
• 23:47
Speaker 1: Unpicking the rest of Maxwell's financial interests is tricky. Her
• 23:51
Speaker 1: London home, where Prince Andrew was photographed with Virginia Roberts
• 23:54
Speaker 1: and Miss Maxwell, is a three point seven million pound
• 23:57
Speaker 1: meuse property in Belgravia. The Land Registry documents lister as
• 24:02
Speaker 1: the owner care of mc Grumbridge of Hogarth Group, a
• 24:06
Speaker 1: company which runs health clubs in West London. Grumbridge, in
• 24:10
Speaker 1: turn is Malcolm Grumbridge, a lawyer, often described as a
• 24:14
Speaker 1: Maxwell family associate. So Grumbridge is basically their version of
• 24:20
Speaker 1: indyke Right, the in house attorney that their go to
• 24:23
Speaker 1: guy when shit goes south. Then there is Elmax, a
• 24:31
Speaker 1: company she set up in twenty twelve. Its registered UK
• 24:35
Speaker 1: address is a cottage in Wiltshire occupied by Catherine Vaughan Edwards,
• 24:39
Speaker 1: another old friend. Its US base is Maxwell's New York
• 24:43
Speaker 1: flat via one Dana Burns, which appears to be an
• 24:46
Speaker 1: alias that Glaine uses all of these people in their hustles.
• 24:52
Speaker 1: I mean, why not just have a storefront. Why do
• 24:54
Speaker 1: you need seventeen different places with different locations, different addresses
• 24:58
Speaker 1: in different countries, unless, of course you're up to some
• 25:01
Speaker 1: bullshit in the UK. She also has a directorship of
• 25:06
Speaker 1: Gemma Kid Makeup Limited, a beauty firm run by the
• 25:09
Speaker 1: socialite and sister of supermodel Jody, which went into administration
• 25:13
Speaker 1: in twenty twelve with debts of two million pounds. Fellow
• 25:17
Speaker 1: directors are Jack Kidd, Gemma's polo player brother, Arthur Mornington,
• 25:22
Speaker 1: the Duke of Wellington's son, and Gemma's husband. Grace Fodar,
• 25:27
Speaker 1: a stylist and star of the BBC show be your
• 25:30
Speaker 1: own boss, and Mark Crocker, the stepson of the late
• 25:33
Speaker 1: racehorse breeder Lord Oaksy, who is married to Samantha Cameron's
• 25:38
Speaker 1: personal assistant Isabelle Spearman. All of these people and all
• 25:42
Speaker 1: of their weird ass social ties should be exposed. Finally
• 25:47
Speaker 1: comes the charity Tera Marr, which boasts two other directors,
• 25:51
Speaker 1: Vaughn Edwards and Lucy Clive, an art director who is
• 25:54
Speaker 1: also a girlfriend of Glane's brother Kevin Maxwell. Founded in
• 25:58
Speaker 1: August twenty thirteen, it hasn't yet filed accounts with either
• 26:03
Speaker 1: company's house or the Charities Commission. That's because it was
• 26:06
Speaker 1: never in action. It was only built and put together
• 26:10
Speaker 1: as a shield for her charitable nonsense. On the personal front,
• 26:18
Speaker 1: Maxwell is just one reported boyfriend in recent years, computer
• 26:22
Speaker 1: billionaire Ted Waite, which whom she stepped out briefly in
• 26:25
Speaker 1: twenty eleven. Instead in public at least, she claims to
• 26:29
Speaker 1: now be devoted to philanthropy, a calling that she doubtless
• 26:33
Speaker 1: hopes will help rehabilitate her personal image. That is all
• 26:37
Speaker 1: it's about, Come on, man. Back at the tech conference,
• 26:41
Speaker 1: Maxwell ended her recent speech by saying that she has
• 26:44
Speaker 1: finally found her mission in life. With Tara mar adding
• 26:47
Speaker 1: I have discovered that it doesn't matter what age you are,
• 26:50
Speaker 1: so long as you follow your passion. The audience nodded approvingly,
• 26:55
Speaker 1: seemingly oblivious to one fact that for a woman accused
• 26:59
Speaker 1: of cynically at a powerful man to prey on vulnerable
• 27:02
Speaker 1: girls less than half his age, it was at best
• 27:06
Speaker 1: a deeply unfortunate turn of phrase. I mean, wow, look,
• 27:11
Speaker 1: it's all you need to know, folks. We how long
• 27:12
Speaker 1: do how much do we talk about it? That New
• 27:15
Speaker 1: York Society, Uppercross society, they were all still hanging out
• 27:19
Speaker 1: with Maxwell, And I thought that instead of just telling
• 27:22
Speaker 1: you that, I'd actually show you that today. And that's
• 27:26
Speaker 1: why we're doing this episode. That's why we're adding this
• 27:28
Speaker 1: one to the catalog. And it just shines a light
• 27:31
Speaker 1: that Maxwell was still accepted even though people knew the deal.
• 27:34
Speaker 1: She was still wanted even though people knew the deal,
• 27:37
Speaker 1: and she was still considered a commodity even though she
• 27:42
Speaker 1: was involved in abusing children. I'll let that one sit
• 27:48
Speaker 1: in your pipe for a little while before you smoke it.
• 27:52
Speaker 1: If you'd like to contact me, you can do that
• 27:53
Speaker 1: at Bobby Capuchi at protonmel dot com. That's Bo Bby
• 27:58
Speaker 1: Capucci at ProtonMail dot com. You can also find me
• 28:03
Speaker 1: on Twitter at Bobby underscore c ap Ucci. The links
• 28:09
Speaker 1: that we discussed can be found in the description box.
• 28:12
Speaker 1: All right, folks, more is certainly on the what's up everyone,
• 28:16
Speaker 1: and welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. Let's
• 28:20
Speaker 1: all give a standing ovation, shall we, because once again
• 28:24
Speaker 1: the Department of Justice has managed to take what should
• 28:27
Speaker 1: have been a slam dunk and turn it into a
• 28:30
Speaker 1: circus picture It Glaine Maxwell, convicted predator and professional liar,
• 28:35
Speaker 1: strolling into a profer session with a swagger of someone
• 28:38
Speaker 1: who knows she can spit in the government's face and
• 28:41
Speaker 1: walk out better off than when she walked in. And
• 28:45
Speaker 1: they're waiting across the table like an eager altar boy
• 28:48
Speaker 1: sits Deputy Director Todd Baby Billy Blanche, our supposed guardian
• 28:52
Speaker 1: of Justice, ready to lap up every lie she feeds
• 28:56
Speaker 1: them like it's communion bread. And what do we get
• 29:00
Speaker 1: from this grand performance? Do we get intelligence? Do we
• 29:03
Speaker 1: get names, leads or actionable evidence that could dismantle Epstein's
• 29:07
Speaker 1: rotten empire? Of course not what we get are lies?
• 29:11
Speaker 1: Mountains of them lie So obvious that the newly released
• 29:14
Speaker 1: emails make it impossible to deny that she perjured herself
• 29:19
Speaker 1: over and over again. She didn't just misremember, she didn't
• 29:22
Speaker 1: just fudge at detail er two. She lied with purpose,
• 29:25
Speaker 1: with malice, with that trademark Maxwell arrogance, And instead of
• 29:29
Speaker 1: punishing her, instead of adding years to her sentence, the
• 29:33
Speaker 1: DOJ rewarded her with cushier accommodations. No less, because apparently
• 29:38
Speaker 1: perjury in America isn't a crime if your name is Maxwell,
• 29:42
Speaker 1: That shit's a perk. This is what passes for justice now.
• 29:46
Speaker 1: Survivors defamed, the public mocked, and predators coddled. Maxwell didn't
• 29:51
Speaker 1: just make a mockery of the survivors. She didn't just
• 29:54
Speaker 1: make a mockery of the public. She made a mockery
• 29:56
Speaker 1: of the Department of Justice itself. And Blanche bless his heart,
• 30:01
Speaker 1: sat there and let her do it. The newly released
• 30:04
Speaker 1: emails have blown the roof off whatever flimsy cover Glenn
• 30:08
Speaker 1: Maxwell had left. These weren't ambiguous notes that could be
• 30:12
Speaker 1: massaged by a PR team or a minor contradictions or
• 30:15
Speaker 1: attorneys could spin as simple misunderstandings. These were smoking guns
• 30:21
Speaker 1: in disputable evidence. That she lied in her profit session,
• 30:25
Speaker 1: lied brazenly, with confidence, with arrogance, and she did it
• 30:29
Speaker 1: in the one place you're not supposed to even think
• 30:32
Speaker 1: about lying, while sitting across from the Deputy Director of
• 30:35
Speaker 1: the DOJ, Todd Baby Billy Blanche. Now, this isn't the
• 30:40
Speaker 1: kind of slip up you see in a witness fumbling
• 30:42
Speaker 1: dates or details. This was perjury, calculated and deliberate. And
• 30:47
Speaker 1: the DOJ, instead of doing what any real law enforcement
• 30:50
Speaker 1: agency would do, slammer with charges and marcher back into court,
• 30:55
Speaker 1: sat there with their arms folded, their heads nodding like
• 30:58
Speaker 1: clueless extras in a bad play. Instead of calling perjury
• 31:01
Speaker 1: what it is, instead of taking the mountain of evidence
• 31:05
Speaker 1: and treating it as the insult to justice it truly was,
• 31:08
Speaker 1: the DOJ acted as though Maxwell had gifted them the
• 31:11
Speaker 1: Rosetta stone of Epstein's network. They elevated her lies to
• 31:16
Speaker 1: the level of intelligence, as though her words carried the
• 31:18
Speaker 1: weight of law. But let's get one thing straight. She
• 31:22
Speaker 1: didn't provide a single piece of actionable intelligence, not one name,
• 31:27
Speaker 1: not one document, not one breadcrumb that could lead to
• 31:29
Speaker 1: an arrest, zero zilch, nada ungats what she did provide
• 31:35
Speaker 1: was a meticulously rehearsed script the lies as if she
• 31:38
Speaker 1: had been training for the performance her whole life, and
• 31:41
Speaker 1: the DOJ let her shovel that manure directly into their records,
• 31:45
Speaker 1: smiling as if she had delivered gold. The very emails
• 31:50
Speaker 1: that have now surfaced, black and white, undeniable proof, show
• 31:54
Speaker 1: you just how deep this whole entire cover up runs.
• 31:57
Speaker 1: These aren't just whispers or anonymous sources. These are her
• 32:01
Speaker 1: own words, clashing directly with what she told the DOJ
• 32:04
Speaker 1: in that room, clear contradictions, bold as daylight, impossible to
• 32:09
Speaker 1: explain away. And yet Blanche, the man supposedly guarding the
• 32:12
Speaker 1: sanctity of the justice process, sat across from her and
• 32:16
Speaker 1: treated every lie as if it were holy writ. The
• 32:20
Speaker 1: Department of Justice didn't interrogate her, They didn't confront her,
• 32:23
Speaker 1: they didn't stop her mid lie. They became her audience,
• 32:26
Speaker 1: her enablers, her willing accomplices in this disgusting parody of justice.
• 32:31
Speaker 1: And then there's David Marcus, Maxwell's attorney. You could almost
• 32:35
Speaker 1: hear the Champagne courts popping in his office. His client
• 32:39
Speaker 1: waltzed into what should have been the most dangerous room
• 32:41
Speaker 1: of her life, lied with abandoned smeared her victims, and
• 32:44
Speaker 1: walked out with a more comfortable prison placement. We're not
• 32:48
Speaker 1: talking about just a legal win here. This was a jackpot.
• 32:52
Speaker 1: Marcus did not maneuver the DOJ. He didn't expose weakness
• 32:56
Speaker 1: in their case. He didn't do anything extraordinary. The extraordinary
• 32:59
Speaker 1: act was Blanche and his DOJ colleagues, who handed Marcus
• 33:03
Speaker 1: the victory on a silver platter. If this is what
• 33:06
Speaker 1: passes for justice, defense attorneys everywhere are popping popcorn and
• 33:10
Speaker 1: taking notes. But the real sickness of this entire charade
• 33:15
Speaker 1: was how Maxwell used her time in that room. She
• 33:18
Speaker 1: didn't use it to shed light on Epstein's financial network,
• 33:21
Speaker 1: his political ties, or the enablers who greased the gears
• 33:24
Speaker 1: of his machine. No, she used it to defame the
• 33:27
Speaker 1: very survivors who had already endured hell at her hands,
• 33:31
Speaker 1: survivors who had fought for years just to be heard,
• 33:35
Speaker 1: only to be re traumatized by hearing. Maxwell weaponized the
• 33:38
Speaker 1: DOJ itself as a platform to smear them once again.
• 33:42
Speaker 1: Think about that, the government agency tasked with defending these
• 33:46
Speaker 1: women sat silently while Maxwell called them liars. That's not
• 33:50
Speaker 1: a mistake. That's complicity, that's cruelty institutionalized, and instead of
• 33:56
Speaker 1: punishing her for it, the DOJ rewarded her. Let's make
• 33:59
Speaker 1: it clear. If an average defendant in a fraud case,
• 34:02
Speaker 1: a drug case, or even a petty larceny case walked
• 34:05
Speaker 1: into a profit and lied, they'd be slapped with perjury
• 34:08
Speaker 1: charges so fast their head would spin, the deal would
• 34:12
Speaker 1: be voided, their sentence extended, and the message would be clear,
• 34:15
Speaker 1: lie to us, and you'll pay the price. But Maxwell,
• 34:19
Speaker 1: she didn't get punished. She got promoted to a cushier
• 34:22
Speaker 1: prison assignment, to relative comfort, to the kind of treatment
• 34:25
Speaker 1: that makes a mockery of the very concept of equal
• 34:28
Speaker 1: justice under law. And let us not mince words about
• 34:31
Speaker 1: Blanche's role in all of this. As Deputy director of
• 34:34
Speaker 1: the DOJ, his job is to preserve the integrity of
• 34:37
Speaker 1: the system. His job is to ensure that justice has teeth,
• 34:41
Speaker 1: that lies have consequences, that predators don't walk into proffers
• 34:45
Speaker 1: and laugh in the government's face. Instead, he sat there
• 34:49
Speaker 1: like a man watching a televangelist hawk miracle water, nodding
• 34:53
Speaker 1: along as if Maxwell's lies were gospel. Blanche is in
• 34:57
Speaker 1: the guardian of justice in the room. He was Maxwell's enabler,
• 35:00
Speaker 1: her audience, her silent partner in crime. If the DOJ
• 35:04
Speaker 1: still had any shred of credibility, Blanche would be packing
• 35:07
Speaker 1: his desk this morning. And that's what makes the entire
• 35:10
Speaker 1: fiasco so disgusting. The DOJ doesn't just look weak. Weakness
• 35:14
Speaker 1: would be forgivable if they had at least tried, But no,
• 35:19
Speaker 1: they looked they compromised. They look bought, bent and owned.
• 35:23
Speaker 1: They look like an institution that has been so thoroughly
• 35:26
Speaker 1: infiltrated by cowardice or worse, complicity, that they can no
• 35:30
Speaker 1: longer tell the difference between truth and performance, and the
• 35:34
Speaker 1: message it sends to the public is devastating. If you're rich, connected,
• 35:38
Speaker 1: and audacious enough, you can walk into the Department of
• 35:41
Speaker 1: Justice itself and lie with impunity, and of course the
• 35:46
Speaker 1: survivors once again pay the price. Imagine being one of
• 35:49
Speaker 1: those women sitting at home, reading the headlines and realizing
• 35:53
Speaker 1: that the very institution you trusted to defend you has
• 35:56
Speaker 1: turned into Maxwell's stage. Imagine watching her perchon not only
• 36:01
Speaker 1: go unpunished, but being effectively endorsed by the DOJ. It's
• 36:05
Speaker 1: like being assaulted twice, once by Maxwell and Epstein, and
• 36:09
Speaker 1: again by the very system that swore to protect you
• 36:12
Speaker 1: and the public. That's you and me. We've been conned
• 36:15
Speaker 1: on a grand scale. We were a promised accountability, we
• 36:18
Speaker 1: were a promised transparency. We were told that there would
• 36:20
Speaker 1: be no sacred cows, no untouchables. What we got instead
• 36:25
Speaker 1: was a magic trick where Maxwell turned lies into perks
• 36:28
Speaker 1: and Blanche acted as her assistant on stage. Justice wasn't served,
• 36:33
Speaker 1: Justice was mocked, gutted, humiliated. The DOJ didn't just fail,
• 36:38
Speaker 1: they insulted everyone who's still believed in the possibility of fairness.
• 36:43
Speaker 1: And what about DJ leadership? Where is the righteous fury,
• 36:46
Speaker 1: where the press conferences declaring that perjury will not stand,
• 36:50
Speaker 1: Where the announcements of fresh indictments, of new charges, of
• 36:53
Speaker 1: a system correcting its own mistakes nowhere? And that silence
• 36:57
Speaker 1: is deafening, And that silence screens complicity, It screams cowardice.
• 37:02
Speaker 1: It screams that the DOJ would rather be mocked by
• 37:05
Speaker 1: Maxwell than confront the ugly truths of her lies that
• 37:08
Speaker 1: they were designed to obscure. And let's not pretend that
• 37:12
Speaker 1: that was difficult calculation for the DOJ. This wasn't a
• 37:15
Speaker 1: close call, this wasn't gray area. The emails make it
• 37:18
Speaker 1: clear she lied, she perjured herself. The law is explicit
• 37:22
Speaker 1: about what happens when someone persures themselves in a profer session.
• 37:26
Speaker 1: And yet the DOJ did the exact opposite of what
• 37:30
Speaker 1: the law demands. They didn't punish her, They rewarded her.
• 37:33
Speaker 1: They showed us that in America, justice isn't blind, it's selective.
• 37:38
Speaker 1: And let's talk about those cushy new accommodations, because every
• 37:41
Speaker 1: day Maxwell spends enjoying her reassignment is another day the
• 37:45
Speaker 1: system screams that it doesn't care. She should be riding
• 37:49
Speaker 1: under a prison stripped of every perk and privilege she
• 37:52
Speaker 1: conned her way into. Instead, she's lounging in relative comfort,
• 37:56
Speaker 1: no doubt, smirking at how easy it was to bend
• 37:59
Speaker 1: the DOJ to her will. For the survivors, we're not
• 38:03
Speaker 1: talking about just another betrayal. It's a cruel joke. And
• 38:07
Speaker 1: the tragedy of all of this is how preventable this was.
• 38:10
Speaker 1: The DOJ had every tool it needed, the whole Maxwell accountable.
• 38:14
Speaker 1: They had the emails, they had the contradictions, they had
• 38:16
Speaker 1: the law on their side. All they needed was the
• 38:19
Speaker 1: courage to act, and they chose silence instead. Silence that
• 38:23
Speaker 1: tells survivors their pain is negotiable. Silence that tells the
• 38:26
Speaker 1: public that perjury is fine if you're rich enough. Silence
• 38:30
Speaker 1: that tells predators everywhere that justice is a game you
• 38:33
Speaker 1: can win if you play dirty enough. It's humiliating for
• 38:37
Speaker 1: the Department of Justice. Blanche and his team didn't just fail,
• 38:41
Speaker 1: they became complicit. They didn't just let Maxwell off the hook.
• 38:44
Speaker 1: They tied the noose around Justice's neck and handed her
• 38:47
Speaker 1: the lever. Survivors, once again are left to pick up
• 38:50
Speaker 1: the pieces. The public is left disillusioned, and Maxwell gets
• 38:54
Speaker 1: to laugh behind prison walls that fuel or like country
• 38:57
Speaker 1: club gates. At this point, the DOJ has officially become
• 39:02
Speaker 1: Maxwell's stage manager. They set up the lights, they handed
• 39:05
Speaker 1: her the script, They let her perform uninterrupted, and then
• 39:09
Speaker 1: clapped at the end. And now they expect the rest
• 39:11
Speaker 1: of us, the survivors, the public, the people who still
• 39:14
Speaker 1: naively believed in accountability, to applaud as well. But no
• 39:18
Speaker 1: one is clapping, no one is fooled. We see this
• 39:21
Speaker 1: charade for what it is, Justice bent until it broke
• 39:26
Speaker 1: and the real tragedy is that justice could have been served.
• 39:29
Speaker 1: Maxwell could have been held accountable, not just for her
• 39:31
Speaker 1: role in Epstein's crimes, but relying under oath to the
• 39:34
Speaker 1: DJ itself. The survivors could have finally seen the scales
• 39:38
Speaker 1: of justice tip in their favor. The public could have
• 39:41
Speaker 1: been reassured that no one's above the law. Instead, the
• 39:44
Speaker 1: DOJ once again chose the path of least resistance, caddle
• 39:48
Speaker 1: the liar, ignore the survivors, and betray the public. So
• 39:53
Speaker 1: once again we're left with an ugly reality. Maxwell lied,
• 39:56
Speaker 1: Blanche enabled it, the DOJ rewarded it. The survivors won again,
• 40:00
Speaker 1: were betrayed, mocked, and humiliated, the public once again was conned, misled,
• 40:05
Speaker 1: and discarded, and justice once again was trampled underfoot, sacrificed
• 40:10
Speaker 1: at the altar of cowardice and corruption. Because every single
• 40:14
Speaker 1: day that Maxwell spends in cushy confinement is another reminder
• 40:18
Speaker 1: that justice in America isn't about truth, It isn't about accountability,
• 40:23
Speaker 1: It isn't about protecting survivors. It's about protecting power, about
• 40:27
Speaker 1: shielding the connected, about bending the rules until they snap,
• 40:31
Speaker 1: and until Maxwell is held accountable for perjury. Until Blanche
• 40:35
Speaker 1: is held accountable for enabling it, the Department of Justice
• 40:38
Speaker 1: will remain what it has become, a hollow shell, a
• 40:42
Speaker 1: stage for lies, a mockery of its own name. All
