We're not talking about all things right. Today we're going to cover a board meeting. This is true. Right. And then there's some cool events and stuff. We'll drop them in the show notes. 00:00:27:24 - 00:00:51:26 2MC All right. So let's get into it. So this week we had a board meeting. We did. And the budget hearing. Yeah. All on the same day. Yes. Okay. First started out with an Eagle Scout. Yes. We had a proclamation for an Eagle Scout, Colin Jenkins. I think those are cool. I know right? Yeah. And then we also did one for the month of September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. 00:00:51:26 - 00:01:22:28 2MC And then we also had a couple of interlocal agreements, and that was for a amendment to an interlocal agreement between us and the town of Jupiter Island, providing renewal of the current interlocal agreement for highly skilled first responders to ensure emergency. Yes. Okay. And fire protection support is available. 00:01:23:01 - 00:01:52:15 2MC And the next one is providing building officials to help with the Town of Sewalls Point on an as needed basis with another interlocal agreement. That was like reviewing their plan plan reviews and stuff, or inspection plan review services. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. I like when we do those interlocal agreements. Like working together. Working together. Yeah I know. Yes. We had three appointments to the library Board of trustees. 00:01:52:18 - 00:02:18:05 2MC I like that they do cool stuff. Yes. And then we had two public hearing for zoning changes that happened. One was in Hobe sound and one was not in Hobe Sound. Very good. No, but I thought they were pretty interesting. So you can check in and hear those, the conversation that happened around it and why, you know, it was the zoning were chosen the way they were chosen? 00:02:18:06 - 00:02:48:04 2MC Yeah. For the properties. That's cool. So then there was a break. Right. Board meeting ended? Yes. And then the public hearing. First public hearing for our budget place at 505. Correct. Very specific time. Yes. And this is required by Florida state statutes. Used to have two public hearings. And so the first one occurred this week. And then the next one will be on September 29th at 5:05 p.m.. 00:02:48:08 - 00:03:11:21 2MC I do think they're kind of. I do find them interesting. Like our budget team puts everything together and it's very detailed. Right. So everybody walk in with their big budget books. But Stephanie Merle went through a presentation, and then they read through each line item and vote on each of the items. Yes. And then do an overall vote. 00:03:11:23 - 00:03:41:24 2MC Right. Yes.
